Is Election 2024 a Jupiter Return to Election 2012?

Knowing that the orbit of planet Jupiter takes close to 12 years to complete, the cyclical return of Jupiter to a certain Zodiacal position takes about that long. And since Election 2012 was the successful re-election of President Barack Obama and VP Joe Biden, Election Year 2024 carries the cosmic imprint of a Jupiter Return to Election Year 2012. By a difference of one day, the 2012 Election was held on November 6th with Jupiter @14Gem33, and as you know, this year the Election is on November 5th with Jupiter Rx @20Gem06.

So we can see that The Jolly One has moved on by about 6 degrees from his 2012 position - similar to the way the American people have moved beyond grumpy old man Trump the frowny sour puss - and forward to the easy laughter and stellar political skills of VP Kamala Harris who believes in a progressive future for our country, not a dark past irrationally revisited under the yoke of a death cult.

For as you know, on November 5th our choice is between young vs old, future vs past, light vs dark, life vs death, folks! And a victorious Kamala Harris as President will need down-ballot victories, too, in both House and Senate in order to correct mistakes and move America toward the future. By Zoom call, VP Harris has accepted the Democrats' nomination and says she will officially accept next week at the DNC 2024, an event which will be cosmically imprinted by an Aquarian Full Moon.

In case you missed it, check out Thom Hartmann's overview of Trump entering his Fat Elvis phase of trying to recapture his faded glory. And of course, "fat" is a Jupiterian descriptor, plus, albatrossian Trump was born under a 2nd hou$e Stationary Jupiter in Libra with its constant refrain of, "it's not fair!," along with a hefty urge to break through boundaries including the boundaries of others.

Now if you wish, refresh yourself with details concerning Election 2012 held, as noted, on November 6, 2012 with Jupiter Rx @14Gem33. In 2024, the Election occurs on November 5, 2024 with Jupiter Rx clocking in @20Gem06.

And if out of curiosity, we search for the 2012 Election's Jupiter Return in 2024 we find three dates: 1. August 1st (yesterday!); 2. December 20, 2024 (see below); and 3. March 22, 2025, about one day after Spring Equinox 2025 (post with horoscope coming soon).

Now obviously, Mercury-ruled Gemini is the fluid Mutable (changeable) sign of communications, trade and commerce, thinking, teaching and learning, voting, decisions, travel, trickery, lies, theft, and a multiplicity of other things, while Jupiter operates in the realms of expansion, generosity, freedom, finances and banking, corporatism, politics, ideology, religion, law, justice, ethics, morality, civil service, and the list goes on.

Yet with transit Jupiter retrograde until October 9, 2024, we should add that today's news concerns what is now a softening of the US economy (ex: jobs numbers are down) as Republican Fed head Jerome Powell keeps interest rates up which continues helping Trump "win" in November. Finagling a recession in the US would make victory more difficult for VP Kamala Harris, but not impossible.

And so when Jupiter lumbers through Gemini - opposite Sagittarius, the sign it rules - we expect versatility, a variety of changes, making lots of contacts and connections, an obliging manner, an emphasis on those with carefree attitudes, but also a potential for superficiality, often a feature of skim-the-surface Gemini.

Then as Campaign 2024 trundles on, we're being "treated" to expansive fibs and fantasies from those who use deception and gaslighting (trickster Mercury ruling duplicitous Gemini) in order to achieve their take-over objectives and this identifies the win-at-any-cost crowd of cheaters and election fixers.

Meanwhile, in the context of the 2012 Election, we know that it was a Blue Wave of Democrats and Independentswho voted to re-elect President Obama and VP Biden so to avoid the tyrannical agenda of radical Republicans in November 2024 into 2025, a Blue Tsunami is needed to wash the dark-visioned saboteurs, including Fat Elvis, out to sea!

The current scandals and corruption of the US Supreme Court do no good for America or for the American people so as a partisan for the common good, I chuckle not over the Court's current circumstances which engender and promote We the People's lack of trust in our judicial institutions. For me this is a reminder that our loss of trust is one of the primary objectives of bad actors, aka, saboteurs, working behind the scenes in order to harm our country, and apparently certain justices are in cahoots and glad for the lucrative perks.

America's Saturn: Direct then Retrograde

Now as you know, America's legal eagle planet, Saturn, was in Libra in 1776, the sign of balance, the Scales of Justice, and of Saturn's exaltation - and the US has been crowing about it ever since. But hold on a minute, because US Saturn turned retrograde (Rx) by progression in January 1997 (exact date depending on which 1776 or other foundational chart you progress). This coordinates with interference with the US Judicial System through the ginned-up scandals of President Bill Clinton and the GOP's subsequent effort to impeach him which included the prurient involvement of Republicans who now long to monitor everyone's bedroom activities - and track ladies' menstrual cycles like a gang of perv*rts! Extremist Republicans have our "rule of law" society and our traditional checks'n'balances holding on for dear life - with the November 5, 2024 Election looming large and American Democracy on the ballot in their years-long manufactured existential crisis that we've heard for years was coming to America. Plutonian Power Points Sept and Nov 2024

Prior to Election 2024 on November 5th, there are two more exact contacts made by transit Pluto in opposition to its own position in 1937, 1938, and 1939. Generationally, these Pluto vs Pluto oppositions symbolize the titanic Plutonian power struggle for ultimate control in which America and the world are now engaged - for the US, a culmination point will be reached at the November 5, 2024 Election, and if democracy falls in America, it will fall across the globe. Plus, as you know, the Leo-Aquarius polarity is known as the Self-Will axis. So which mass social movement is stronger - democracy or fascism? There can be no compromise here - and psycho gnatzies never cooperate.

And yet dear reader, I must agree with you, that it's simplistic to place the bulk of the current political and societal stand-off upon the shoulders of little old Pluto, planet of primal violence, criminal activities, and destruction - yet once the dust settles Mr. Invisible can also lead to transformation and regeneration. Therefore, other cosmic factors besides Pluto's influence must apply to these matters including the ongoing influences of America's first-ever Pluto Return/s in 2022, and the recent Neptune-opposite-1776-Neptune transit of persecution (across the victim-savior Virgo-Pisces axis) and ideological erosion from fact-based Virgo to woo-woo Pisces. Meanwhile, the fact that the combined energies of the Neptune-Pluto duo represent the criminal element in society with too much influence, and potentials for drugs, religion, subversion, intrigue, and occult issues.

Now when in Sun-ruled Leo, Pluto tends toward forcefulness, exercising one's power potential, speculation, and/or extraordinary achevements in a particular field of endeavor. Nowadays in Aquarius, Pluto exhibits an urge to reform, a wealth of plans, advancement aided by others, exaggerated hopes and plans, and/or a strong communal sense (R. Ebertin). A further complication at Election 2024 - Mars will oppose Election Day Pluto with transit Mars @00Leo20 forming a Mars-to-Pluto Conjunction of heavy-handed force indicating militarism and the barbarians' "win at any cost" determination and cut-thro*t methods of competition. This chart shows a Mars-Pluto-with-more-Mars condition indicating people who exhibit short-fuse tempers and a need to further hide their activities from others (M. Munkasey). Like criminals do.

Then facing facts, we already know that reactionary "Republicans" are threatening violence if Tr*mp doesn't "win" in 2024, and the belligerent Mars-Pluto opposition is a cosmic picture of the GOP's strong-armed intentions (backed by a global fascist movement), along with the aggression of Mars opposing Mars in November.

And so, America's upcoming presidential and down-ballot elections in November represent the pivotal crossroad, a turning point, for our country that years ago I had read were prognosticated to be a time of a major societal shift away from democratic elections. The fact that convicted felon candidate Tr*mp recently promised his followers in a speech that 2024 will be the last US election that his "Christians" will ever have to vote in suggests that someone backing this degraded demagogue knows about the prognostication, or may be behind its promotion all along - and they've been planning for years that Election 2024 will be America's last on the way to dictatorship. For one thing, the orange dictator wanna-be is expected to be shoehorned into place and ready to implement the brutal purging of America on "Day One". We know this because The Heritage Foundation says so through their draconian Project 2025 agenda - roaring like a dragon as a "Christian Nationalist" country - and a scant veil for Catholicism.

And so I beg to differ with them because personally, I have American heritage, too - ancestors from Jamestown and Plymouth Colonies, the American Revolution, and more - and I say No Fascism Allowed in America. Zilch! Additionally, my uncles didn't fight Nazis in WWII for such barbarism and sabotage to be America's fate. And yes, a step down from global leadership for the US can make sense but We the People do not have to jump into a fascist abyss with these perverted weirdos and their cult followers who mistakenly think they know what they're doing if they vote "Republican" on November 5th.

A Harris-Trump Debate? As if!

Our recent consideration of the Biden-Trump Debate included horoscopes of both the first (catastrophic) debate held on June 27, 2024, plus, the proposed debate of September 10, 2024. But conditions "on the ground" have changed, as you know, so now it's VP Kamala Harris who will likely be the Democratic presidential nominee rather than Joe Biden, our sitting president until Inauguration 2025.

Then you also know that the previously scheduled second debate in September has apparently been backed out of by Mr. Trump. Many folks assume that his reticence is due to fear of VP Kamala Harris and her debating skill, and naturally VP Harris will have to become the official presidential nominee for the Democratic Party by then - by August 7th, actually, last I heard.

Anyway, I thought it might interest some readers to have a stand-alone Debate Horoscope set for September 10, 2024 9:00 pm edt New York City, in case the Harris-Trump throwdown should actually occur. The planetary aspect grid is included with the chart which has my study notes messily penned on, and considering the Mutable Grand Cross present that evening, a Debate on September 10th was never a reliably scheduled event no matter who agreed to show up:

The earliest that JB Pritzker's Sun and Moon positions clock in on his birthday (12:00 am PST) are Sun @29Cap02 where transit Pluto, planet of power, wealth, and regeneration, hangs about these days, and Moon @23Leo53. Their latest positions (11:59 pm PST) are Sun @00AQ03 conjunct US Inaugural Sun, and Moon @8Vir33. Within financial realms, Gov. Pritzker was born during a Jupiter-Neptune opposition phase across the financial Taurus-Scorpio axis which naturally resonates with his family's lucrative business empire.

Meanwhile, on a personal level, folks with a Jupiter-Neptune opposition in their natal charts and psyches often engage in social work of some kind (ex: politics) and can be rather absentminded. For best results handling the opposition, Gov. Pritzker may need to guard against a loss of objectivity.

VP Harris Courts Gen Z Voters

Hey there! Would you say that Kamala Harris (is the) Gen Z meme queen? Her campaign's appeals to Gen Z members, aka, "Zoomers", are using more modern tactics in an attempt to reach them in their favorite social network lairs, and large numbers of young folks are responding and registering to vote in Election 2024 on November 5th! That merits a huge Hooray! around here.

Because if Democrats can add the Youth Vote to the Righteous Women vote, we'll create a Blue Tsunami on November 5th to drown the fascist Project 2025 agenda with its cruelty and barbarism.

Now as you know, The Gen Z age range is usually said to be those born between 1997 and 2010. This includes those old enough to vote for the very first time in the 2024 Election. This circumstance inspired a look at the Solar and Lunar Eclipses of 2006, the primary year in which 18-year-olds were born.

Significant is the fact that the two Solar Eclipses of 2006 are repeating in 2024, 18.6 years later! It's merely the eclipse cycle, and apart from the themes of the repeating eclipses, it's basically a timing issue because when a Solar Eclipse in a Saros Series that a person was born into repeats (first time for everyone, age 18), it tends to mark a very prominent and active year for that person, and may even signal a personal year to shine!

So below you see a quick (very messy) graphic that lists the Eclipses of 2006 and 2024 with their themes added which "run in the background of society" yet may not have any personal influence at all. One difference is that the 8 South of September 22, 2006 was basically an Autumn Equinox 2006 Eclipse, even though the Sun had not quite reached 00Lib00:00 - but lingered at the very end of Virgo at an impulsive, critical, under-strain 29th degree. However, in 2024, 8 South will fall @10Libra and influence both Election 2024 and Inauguration 2025 within Libran and Arian (Aryan?) concerns such as relationships, conflicts, war, diplomacy - and, via the balance of the Libran Scales of Justice - our critical need for fairplay:

Now to put the Gen Z generation into historical context, we can check out US Events of 2006 which lists a variety of positive and negative occurrences. Stand-outs for me include the George W. Bush SOTU Address (his Axis of Evil speech) and the now-unpopular Samuel Alito being sworn in to pontificate on the Supreme Court bench and to subsequently repeal Roe v Wade (talk about loss!) both of which occurred on January 31, 2006.

Then on February 11, VP Dick Cheney accidentally shot his lawyer in the face while quail hunting in southern Texas; and on September 15, 2006, spinach contaminated with E. coli bacteria killed 2 and poisoned over 200 people -- a tragedy close enough to the 8 South Eclipse of 2006 to be affected by 8S themes of loss and separation.

As the recent "death" scam against former President Jimmy Carter is now debunked, I'm thinking today of my distant cousin Jimmy Carter (we're both Georgia natives) and his remarkable achievements, not the least of which has been his years of work with Habitat for Humanity.

The former president's Wikipedia bio page gives much information for those who wish details, and here's a link to the natal horoscope of Jimmy (James) Carter in case a reader or two may find it helpful.

There you'll see that transit Saturn now hangs around with Mr. Carter's natal Uranus (@18Pisces) suggesting restriction of independence; natal Uranus also trines his Pluto (@13Can31 - where transit Hades now tarries) with the trine symbolizing his nuclear scientist work as a Naval officer. A Mercury-Uranus opposition provided him with flashes of ideas and lightening quick insights.

Finding a Decent Man in America

Well, I could go on about his natal chart but suffice to say that Jimmy Carter is often spoken of as a better president than he was thought to be during his one term in the White House and for a few years afterwards - and America's supply of honest, decent men will be one less once he departs.

As a new generation of US politicians bubbles happily along, we discussed earlier today two Democrats whose names have cycled up into public consciousness as potential VP picks for now-VP Kamala Harris. We looked at the Eclipses of Governor Andy Beshear of Kentucky and Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona.

Another Name Simmering on The VP Hob

Now let's peek at Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's Solar Eclipse Series with its themes running in the background of his life. As it happens, Baby Shapiro was born on June 20, 1973 - between two eclipses: 11 North on January 4, 1973, and 11 South on June 30, 1973.

As you see, Josh Shapiro was born just within the two-week window of influence prior to the 11 South Eclipse of 1973 so I'll list the themes of both eclipses for your consideration. When this cosmic happenstance occurs, a blending of eclipse themes may be in evidence in the person's life, or, as eclipses in the two Series repeats (every 19.6 years), its themes may take precedence - or alternate.

And of course, it could be that VP Harris will choose someone entirely different from Beshear, Kelly, or Shapiro so when we find out who that brave person is, another post concerning the chosen running mate of Kamala Harris will be necessary to complete the 2024 VP picture.

Astrology of 2 Presidents Stepping Down: 1796 and 2024

First, you may wish to check out VP Kamala Harris' first remarks after Biden stepped down from the 2024 campaign.

And perhaps you've seen yesterday's horoscope of the Full Moon @29Capricorn under which President Biden ended his 2024 Campaign while retaining the presidency. And by now you've probably heard multiple comparisons being made between Presidents Biden and Washington - George Washington, The Father of Our Country, and our first executive leader who stepped down from the levers of power via a resignation letter dated September 19, 1796 (see the chart, below). The phrase "gave their all for their country" springs to mind for both men of character, serving until age caught up.

This resonates with Biden's natal Saturn (old)/Uranus (new) conjunction in Gemini (sign of youth), and interestingly, Chiron (the rainbow bridge!) has been traveling all snugged between transit Saturn and Uranus: Chiron = Saturn-Uranus - as the centaur is today. You can't make this stuff up!

And wouldn't it be amazing if the Great American Eclipse of April 8, 2024 conjunct Chiron (both @19Ari24, Aries: sign of the fearless pioneer), operative until the 8 South Eclipse manifests October 2nd @10libra, actually spotlighted for us this generational shift in US politics? For as you know, VP Kamala Harris and Grandpa Tr*mp are one generation apart which makes his nibs the oldest candidate in the race, if he can hang on until November. And why not? After all, the 2024 race has become a Prosecutor vs Perpetrator affair, so why would a lifelong fraudster want to miss that? Do you ever get the feeling that Kamala Harris has been Joe Biden's ace up his sleeve since Day One?

Meanwhile, two names of Kamala Harris' potential VP picks have floated to the top of a long list: Gov Andy Beshear (D-KY) and Sen Mark Kelly (D-AZ).

Governor Beshear speaks with what has been described as a comforting "Kentucky Blue Grass" accent and has created for himself an impressive resume of working for the people of his home state as their governor, while former astronaut Senator Kelly has a resume of service and heroism as long as anyone's arm.

Of course, these are not the only possible choices for 2024 candidate Harris' running mate but they've been mentioned and are worthy of consideration here. However, I'm actually working today to complete a different post with interruptions in my real world scheduled in a while, so let's base this brief consideration on the Solar Eclipse energies and themes that run in the background of Beshear's and Kelly's lives - the Eclipse Saros Series into which each fellow was born.

Full Moon Weekend: Will Biden Step Down?

UPDATE July 21, 2024: President Biden has completed his 2024 Campaign and stepped down.

UPDATE July 20, 2024: Adding just a mention here that the Full Moon of July 21, 2024 as shown, below, is or symbolizes a Moon Return to the Lunar Eclipse of July 21, 1861; this cosmically links the July 2024 lunation to the era of the Civil War. Is this significant to current events?

Well, I consider it to be worth consideration because of repeated right-wing calls for a second civil war, and the fact that to me, the Democrats who are pressuring President Biden to step down are doing Trump's and Putin's work for them - enemies of America with their greedy eyes plastered upon the overthrow of the US government via Election 2024, and violence if Democrats dare resist. See Events of 1861 - of a war instigated by seditionists of the same fascist-style persuasion that is now risen again.

First this: Joe Biden insists he will stay in the race despite allies urging him to 'pass the torch'. Yet a rumor floating around is, that President Biden could possibly decide this weekend to step down from his 2024 Campaign while retaining the Office of the Presidency.

Well, I'm no mind reader so I'll simply post the Full Moon Horoscope for Sunday July 21, 2024 @29Cap08 which casts a bright spotlight upon US 1776 Pluto Rx (27Cap33) and US Pluto now progressed to 29Cap32 (and Direct). You may wish to check the Sabian Symbols involved and you'll find Saturn's Symbol ("20Pisces") listed with karmic Saturn knocking at Biden's natal IC of Domestic Scene.

This significant transit times the end of one life phase, and a new phase of life beginning but it won't be an exact conjunction for President Biden's IC until February 2025 (it's penned on the chart). Having more responsibilities in the home are suggested with perhaps fewer professional duties.

Yes, other transits and progressions factor in as well but this is meant to be a brief post published just before my weekend begins!

1934 Eclipses in 2024: 8 North and 8 South

Due to these harrowing times, and because historical events tend to rhyme as eclipses and their themes reoccur through the years, the following is another of my "forewarned is forearmed" posts for daring readers who prefer to face facts in order to vanquish the monsters who may reappear on the global stage from one era to another:

When Adolf Hitler Became President of Germany on August 2, 1934, it was under the influence of not one but two Solar Eclipses: the 8 North of February 14, 1934 @25Aquarius - conjunct controlling authority Saturn as you see, below - and the 8 South of August 10, 1934 @17Leo. Why two? Because 8 North was still operative but the August 2nd event occurred only 8 days prior to the 8 South Eclipse - well within the two-week window when themes of the next eclipse can add its influence upon earthly events, disruptive and complex as they may be.

So the dreams and visions of 8 North combined with 8 South's more difficult themes of loss, separation, and physical injury as Hitler made his move toward more power and control. For as you know, Herr Adolf's ultimate vision, his dream, was for world domination but the brutality of his methods wreaked havoc upon the world with loss, separation, physical injuries and death, and in a word, tragedy as his Nazi regime forcefully attempted to remake society in his beastly image - for an excruciating total of 10 years 271 days, until April 30, 1945.

And this is the "rhyming" that America risks if the Trump regime v2 is allowed to take over the US presidency in November 2024 for we are now within the exact same eclipse corridor of 8 North and 8 South Solar Eclipses repeating from 1934. Adolf's personal flaws outdid him, however, as his paranoia expanded, strategic mistakes were made, and there were multiple attempts on his life. For like all dictators, Herr Adolf wasn't nearly as popular as he thought he was!

So here's a version of his August 2, 1934 assuming power event with astro-notes penned on; note Saturn Rx in Aquarius leading a ruthless Locomotive shape of planets and denoting one who takes control in order to fulfill eclipse themes but, in Aquarius, karmic Saturn has ambitious plans without a sound foundation - as I believe is the case once again in 2024:
