The Many Meanings Within The Saturn-Neptune Cycle

When in August 2022 a fussy post appeared here concerning the Saturn-Neptune combination's fact vs fiction energies and the duo's association with 'deep state' (Neptune-Saturn) concepts, the upcoming Great Conjunction of Saturn and Neptune at the Cardinal World Point of 00Aries, the Aries Point, was not mentioned. Naturally, this happens to be the Spring Equinox point, aka, the Aries Ingress, where years begin in keeping with Mars-ruled Aries as the starting point of many earthly events.

Plus, as you know, the four Cardinal World Points of zero Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn are where events tend to manifest on the physical plane, events which possess global consequences. In other words, Aries Point involvement is a big deal, and the heavyweight planets Saturn and Neptune have karmic implications for progress, setbacks, or, more likely, some blending of both. For such is life on Earth.

Meanwhile, the combined energies of the planetary pair reveal a multitude of meanings in Astrology depending on how and where the pair appears and is analyzed. And according to Reinhold Ebertin, the midpoint of Saturn-Neptune in a horoscope forms the 'illness axis' while secret (Neptune) government (Saturn) has often been gleaned from the pair's workings in political realms along with certain -isms such as Socialism, Bolshevikism, Marxism, Communism, etc - all of which are manmade concepts and propagandistic labels most often used to vilify one's opponents and promote social division, aka, the divide-and-conquer strategy so popular in US politics.

Additional potentials for the Saturn-Neptune pairing include false hopes that lead to disillusionment (A. Oken), plus, renunciation, asceticism, issues of poor-sick-or-depressed individuals and our social safety net programs, neuroses, undermining circumstances, distrust, insecurity, dissatisfaction, mood changes, peculiar characters, self-preoccupation, and/or idealism vs materialism concerns (R. Ebertin's The Combination of Stellar Influences #ad).

Then on a side note, it may be worth mentioning that in the November 1989 horoscope, the Moon @24Tau28 conjuncts the natal Midheaven (Goal Point) and demon star Algol of one Donald Trump - and transit Nemesis @22Sag49 conjuncts his natal Moon-South-Node conjunction of emotional alienation. Placing these Trumpian cosmic time links into context, period 3 began in or about 2013 and continues until February 2026. And the amazing thing? Four days prior to conjunction #3, it came to pass that on November 9, 2013, Donald Trump was in Moscow promoting his franchise known as the Miss Universe Pageant, and was, as I put it in a 2019 post, "making puppy eyes at Vladimir Putin." Well, since then we've observed how their love affair proceeded - to the detriment and undermining of our country and the entire world.

So now in 2023, as the Collective approaches the last years of the duo's current cycle, we may wish to cast our thoughts toward 2026, when solid Saturn's demand for realism and authenticity next meet wispy if inspirational Neptune's fraud and deception tendencies for the first time since their three conjunctions in 1989 in the 10-to-12-degree-range of Saturn-ruled Capricorn.

Below is a tri-wheel of all three 1989 Conjunctions of Saturn-Neptune, a planetary pair also containing rational vs irrational vibes. Timings are as close to accurate as my Solar Fire v9 software gives me. And note that 36 years divided by 3 = about 12 years, as mentioned above, so we're now in the third phase of their 1989 cycle dated November 13, 1989 until February 20, 2026 with reality 'star' Trump acting as America's orange albatross prancing about on what he hopes will again become the world stage of fame and fortune:

A Union of Neptune's Faith with Saturn's The Establishment?

On February 20, 2026, a new 36-year cycle of their concentrated, combined energies begins so that a DC Horoscope may be set up and studied if one is curious about societal, political, and even religious issues via a horoscope that's 'good for' approximtely 36 years!

You'll note that the above horoscope is set for Washington DC as a symbol of America, and for those who use the July 4, 1776 5:09/10 pm LMT Philadelphia, Pennsylvania horoscope to symbolize our nation, the Saturn-Neptune Conjunction of 2026 lands upon the IC Point of the chart with its Domestic Scene and Foundational implications and a suggestion of 4/10 Security concerns. Additionally, we should admit that a major reform of government seems a likely possibility along with 'new world order' implications (as in, 1776 - 2026?).

And since I marked the above horoscope, I've honed in the time of the exact 2026 conjunction to a more accurate 11:52:48 am est with Ascendant 17Gem45 - still with the chaotic 10th house Uranus of Donald Trump rising - his guiding planet - with its rounded-up Sabian Symbol of "Two Chinese Men Talking Chinese in a Western Crowd" which speaks of alien relationships of which Herr T has enjoyed gracious plenty, while the Symbol of his natal Moon-1989 Nemesis conjunction clocks in with "A Chinese Laundry."

Trump's Progressed Moon Plays a Role in 2023 Events

Back in January 2023 on SO'W, we discussed the fact that the 7 South October 14, 2023 Eclipse 'hits' Trump's Progressed Moon ('SP') at its 'crisis in action' Cresent Phase degree of May 24, 2023, or in other words, the two cosmic occurrences - one in real time, the other symbolic - will conjunct @21Libra and some odd minutes when the October 2023 Eclipse perfects upon his SP Crescent Moon degree which times the beginning of a new life cycle for him. Additionally of interest with Moon in Libra, is that a suggestion of destiny is involved, and of course, all eclipses are known as karmic 'wild cards of the Universe'.

Now in this instance, I'm using his SP Luna as a timing agent via its degree. And it's possible, say TV pundits, that no significant legal action such as indictment will be taken against the orange albatross until May although this time link suggests to me that late September into October 2023 should be an important time period for Trump and his woes which will be affected by plenty of other transits and progressions mitigating or otherwise influencing the proceedings on into 2024, the year of a Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus (his pair in beneficial trine aspect of luck and protection) @21Taurus in Trump's 9th house of Legal Affairs and near his natal Midheaven of Public Status.

Then will "Teflon Don" manage to escape accountability once again? Perhaps, but let's not forget the caution of his royal Regulus rising with belligerent Mars, and the trouble that taking revenge can bring: a loss of all that's been gained.

As for his SP Moon/7 North Eclipse connection, this real time + symbolic cosmic time link reveals a Sun-Moon-Moon signature which suggests bringing protection on some level for self or others, and/or a need for relief, possibly supplied by a woman or other family member. And naturally, with the Sun-Moon combination denoting marriage partners, it's tempting to think of his current wife Melania although another woman or women could be involved as well. Could this indicate Stormy? Well, her natal Pluto does conjunct Trump's stationary Jupiter at the "A Gang of Robbers in Hiding" degree!

Also tempting is a consideration of the themes of 7 South Solar Eclipses in relation to Trump's SP Moon with its Venusian-Libran vibes (until his SP Moon symbolically advances into Scorpio in early 2024, adding Scorpio's intense Mars-Pluto vibrations to his emotional landscape - and his SP Ascendant has also entered Scorpio). Plus, it may be significant in some way for Trump that 7 South is the Prenatal Eclipse Series ('PE') into which son Barron Trump was born! Then was anger Melania's midwife? Well, Trump's 'Stormy Night' did occur while Barron was only a few months old so I suppose the faithless cad of a husband's testosterone-driven Mars rising in lusty Leo is rashness personified, no matter the consequences.

Now Themes of 7 South Eclipses include the tremendous anger, power, and force of a Mars-Pluto square due to the one in effect during the initial 7 South Eclipse of June 22, 1248 with Sun-Moon @8Can03 (conjunct Trump's gossip-mongering Mercury squared by deceitful Neptune). 7 South possibilities are for huge obstacles to "suddenly clear" or, "a pending potential crisis will move through the life very rapidly" (B. Brady).

Undoubtedly, we think of the multiple lawsuits and potential indictments that this man, 'overshadowed by shadows' faces as I type. And admittedly, my personal hope is that if huge obstacles suddenly clear for this career criminal, his pathway will open toward a prison cell door. And I'm certain you've noticed that Trump's recent behavior posting a mocked-up photo of his tiny hands brandishing a baseball bat next to a photo of NY AG Alvin Bragg has obvious Mars-Pluto square implications. Yes, the image was deleted later but the deadly message was successfully sent to Herr Trump's receptive comrades.

So let's consider a paraphrasing of what Alan Oken has written about a Mars-Pluto square as it potentially affects individuals such as the cantankerous narcisist and wanna-be dictator, Donald J. Trump:

People with extremely violent tempers who let nothing stand in their way, they make devastating enemies who can act like a b*mb clearing the way by wiping out what has already been established; The Annihilator. As most anyone may agree, this is definitely the mood that he and his nazi comrades are in as they strive to take fascist control of our country.

So! Despair and giving up are never options in the cause of Justice, my dear pro-democracy reader, yet these are some of the current influences upon old man Donald Trump whose 12th house midpoint picture, Pluto = Mars-Saturn (the death axis) while apex Pluto, the underworld figure, spy, and assassin, just keeps on expressing its harmful energies against humanity in the form of: "brutality; the rage or fury of destruction; intervening of a higher power; bodily injury or harm (death of many people)," according to Reinhold Ebertin.

And these sinister energies support, among other planetary factors in his natal chart and psyche, his Goal Point (Midheaven) with enraged demon star Algol upon it, a star quite often found twinkling prominently in the natal horoscopes and psyches of serial m*rderers.

On May 5, 2023 a Lunar Eclipse perfects @14Sco58 which conjuncts the Moon in the 1913 Federal Reserve Act Horoscope shown here, upper right; lower left is the May 5th Scorpio Lunar Eclipse Horoscope; both charts are set for Washington DC. As you know, the Taurus-Scorpio 2/8 polarity is the Big Business axis of greed, corporations, finance, and investment, and you'll notice that the powerful Sun-Pluto opposition (upper right corner) of December 23, 1913 tops the 6:02 pm est horoscope at the Goal Point - and the Sun @1Capricorn 'acts as an agent for or against structural collapse':

Now as you see, a variety of astro-notes are penned upon both charts so please enlarge and/or print the image if you wish to read them. And of course, setting up the horoscopes for yourself may be a viable option, if possible, and do check out the various Sabian Symbols (they're online).

Additionally, we should mention that the May 5th Lunar Eclipse falls upon America's Inaugural Ascendant-Descendant axis of January 20th at noon, the Oath of Office, so the White House and/or presidency are likely to be somehow reflected, or disrupted, in May by the upcoming Scorpio Lunar Eclipse. Plus, President Biden was born with Mars, Mercury, Sun, and Venus in Scorpio, if it matters.

DC Horoscopes: December 23, 1913 and May 5, 2023

Moon @15Scorpio, the Eagle Point of Regeneration, conjuncts fixed star Zuben Elgenubi with its keyphrase, positive social reform. However, in Astrology when this star conjuncts Luna, the cosmic picture can darken to levels of disappointment, anxiety, and wrongful accusations which seem these days to be the required fuel for Washington DC politics to run on, at least as a tactic for far-right saboteurs.

But then again, yours truly is one of those skeptics who thinks that Fedhead Jerome Powell is raising interest rates (as if) to control inflation when it's primarily corporate greed driving the financial jalopy so that the Biden adminstration can take the blame for the US economy possibly running into a ditch - at least as planned within the fevered brains of far-right Republicans who have peculiar domestic and foreign masters to please. After all, politicians' wildly inflated incomes depend upon their compliance by which they hope to avoid being primaried in 2024 and thus losing their posh seats.

So will the rays of the May 5th Scorpio Full Moon Eclipse lift a veil or two on previous or present financial secrets? Will leaked information cause a financial and/or political scandal or yet another controversy spawned by wild conspiracy theories? Or, is the Lunar Eclipse a cosmic signal that the American people (Moon 1913) are being bamboozled once again by a tone deaf Federal Reserve of 2023 prescribing an erroneous solution that only makes things worse and causes massive job lay-offs? We'll both have to stay tuned to find out. My vote goes to Zuben Elgenubi's positivity!

Additional notes re Jerome Powell: born February 4, 1953 in Washington DC, no known birth time but a noon chart shows Sun @15Aquarius, Moon @17Libra, Jupiter @12Taurus, and Saturn strong at Direct Station @27Libra and exalted. Of particular interest is Mr. Powell's Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE") @28Leo conjunct royal Regulus which manifested on August 20, 1952 in the difficult 8 South Saros Series ('loss; separation': B. Brady) because an 8 South eclipse repeats on October 2, 2024 @10Libra.

Therefore, 8 South is the PE of both Election 2024 and Inauguration 2025. My suspicion, unfortunate as it is, is that all this cosmic solar-lunar synchronicity in May and October 2023 could be a page or two from the far-right script meant to undermine democracy, disrupt our social fabric, and demolish the Democratic Party on behalf of a dystopian government take-over such as was seen via the failed January 6, 2021 'maga' coup - a rehearsal, if you will.

Yet perhaps we can agree that one of the comforts of using an astrological lens to study such events, conditions, individuals, and disruptions is that forewarned is forearmed!

Trump Indictment coming? Sun to Aries Point

UPDATE March 20, 2023: Looks as if "Tuesday March 21st" for his indictment was one of Trump's pipe dreams or more likely something he touted last week for promotional purposes and for fundraising. Still, the following horoscope remains just what it is: Sun to Aries Point!

From a previous SO'Wpost in 2018, here's the natal horoscope of porn star and director Stormy Daniels with asteroid and sexy archetype Sappho rising, and her natal Sun @26Pis05 which transit Neptune now glamorizes with wispy veils.

This weekend many folks in the US are positively giddy over the idea that an indictment for Donald Trump is on the Manhattan DA's calendar, perhaps set for Tuesday March 21, 2023, and the cuffs may finally appear.

Now as you, dear reader, may know, I don't like spending a bunch of time on horoscopes for events that may or may not happen so this post isn't that. But it seems only fair to post an unmarked 'Trump Indictment?" horoscope set for Tuesday March 21, 2013 9:00 am edt Manhattan, NY - just for kicks. Do with it as you will or will not, for it's up to you; aspect grid is shown:

Obviously because of the date, we know that the Sun is conjunct Aries Point of fame, recognition, and fortune, so let's assume the Sun symbolizes the guy who always has to be the most famous person in any room, the center of attention. Plus, there's a New Moon @00Ari50 at 1:23 pm edt on Tuesday which perfects within Trump's natal 8th house of Shared Resources and Debt.

A prominent aspect in the chart for a fellow who embodies the aggression of warrior planet Mars (his Leo Mars rising at birth conjunct royal star Regulus: 'success if revenge is avoided') is an inconjunct (adjustment needed) between Mars and power planet Pluto, shown here at Midheaven ('MC'), the Goal Point of any horoscope.

Pluto @29Capricorn conjuncts US Secondary Progressed Pluto at a critical-crisis 29th degree, so from where I type, our nation's first-ever Pluto Return seems to be never-ending. And we know that Pluto-at-MC is a major power position on the world stage involving Career and Public Status so for now let's take this as powerful people affecting Mars in mutable, often dupicitous Gemini (in the 2nd house of Money, Possessions, and Values) with their inconjunct indicating one who can never back down, even when he's wrong. And boy is he wrong - so often that it's impossible to keep count.

Well, perhaps the Manhattan DA has been keeping count after all.

Now a significant don't-miss feature in this particular chart is radical Uranus rising at its "swords vs torches" degree, activated at the Midterms 2022 Lunar Eclipse. Uranus rising can denote the ability to cope with issues so we'll see how well proceedings go and whether unpredictable Uranus helps or hinders. In addition, Trump is a Uranian figure with his 10th house Uranus @17Gemini as his guiding planet of chaos and disruption - here in 2nd house and first of his natal planets to rise. Something uexpected may occur.

Notably, Stormy's first natal planet to rise at 9:00 am edt in NY is her Jupiter Rx @29Cancer - opposing the chart's Pluto at Midheaven and suggesting a power play.

Meanwhile, chart-ruler Venus, strong her own sign of Taurus, makes no applying aspects so nothing may change much if Tuesday (morning at least - who knows?) turns out to be the day that Trump is finally indicted. She's leaving her recent conjunction with North Node but retains some potential for favorable contacts with the public, and financial largesse may be indicated for the lady.

Then as you see, legal eagle planet Saturn has recently entered secretive Pisces (March 7th) and here, in 11th house of Groups and Associations, the law must play a part by attempting to hold the orange blighter accountable, albatross that he is. And in Pisces, Saturn tends toward struggles with opponents which describes what America is facing as Donald Trump stands before a judge (it is hoped!). But here's the thing: Mars trines Saturn (3A29; cooperative work) but Mars is separating from a square with deceptive Neptune (admitting the truth about his actions coming into the light?).

Of course, Mars and the Moon are also squared (@28/28 degrees) so flashes of anger may add excitement to the proceedings with this planetary aspect of selfishness and jealousy, if they occur on Tuesday morning at all. It's even possible that accusatory words like "shrew" or "harpie" may be heard in the courtroom with Stormy the intended target.

So let's pretend that Tuesday is the day and have a glance at the moody, romantic Sun Aries-Moom Pisces combination of energies with its 'Image for Integration' (a la The Harveys): "A world-champion boxer and an artist in Greenwich Village meet, fall in love, marry and struggle happily ever after."

Well, the personalities sound right but a "marriage" between these two could only have been a struggle.

On the Assassination of Julius Caesar

Ides of March: The World's Most Famous Assassination

The vicious Assassination of Julius Caesar presents a harrowing and historic tale of betrayal and primal violence which played out in Rome's Theatre of Pompey on March 15, 0044 BC. Below is displayed a Horoscope set for that date at the speculative hour of 'noon'; you'll note that then-invisible Pluto, planet of death, assassination, and sabotage is prominent by being Station Direct at a critical 29th degree of mutable, Mercurial Gemini, not known as the most loyal of signs.

Also of interest is unaspected Neptune, planet of secrecy and confusion, for it is apex of the midpoint of the revolutionary pair of violence Uranus-Pluto ('collapse of the old order-construction of the new' - R. Ebertin) so that uncertainty, insecurity, nervousness, and even neuroses are suggested; and if you doubt that stationing Pluto is involved with this ancient crime, check him out as apex of a double T-Square listed on the chart, upper right:

For the curious, the birth data for Julius Caesar: July 12, -100 Rome; notably, his Uranus Rx @27Cap29 is the unpredictable planet of shock, attack, and chaos. Plus, there's a midpoint picture operative throughout the day of his birth, Mars-Saturn ('death axis') = Neptune (loss): "waning powers; undermined vitality; mysterious death" - R.E.

Now as you know, this historic murder is the event that spawned the infamous "Ides of March" warning that the world has been cautioned to 'be beware of' through the centuries. And obviously, any dream Caesar may have entertained of becoming a permanent dictator ended on that day via his 23 stab wounds even though he was appointed early in 44 BC as "dictator in perpetuity'. Was this the crux of the matter?

Then significantly, the first known post-mortem (autopsy) determined that he died from blood loss due to his wounds, and this, after wife Capurnia's dream that morning of his death caused her to beg him to skip the Senate meeting that day. Initially, Caesar delayed but at some point was persuaded to attend, and thus the assassination was perpetrated. Note that the Wikipedia link, above, provides a list of the conspirators, murderers who fled the city after their heinous deed was accomplished.

Meanwhile, the populace of Rome was not amused nor favorably impressed by the assassination of their Emperor Julius Caesar - some citizens were angry, and the 'rallying around' the murderers failed to materialize.

So looking back from our distant perspective, it's understandable that the death of Julius Caesar marked a major turning point in the history of Rome, and not necessarily in the ways that his assassins had expected.

But isn't that the way with erratic reformer Uranus? That unintended consequences always result from chaotic Uranian actions with outcomes that are impossible to control.
