March 2024 Trump Trial: a Lunar Eclipse

Today NY Judge Juan Marchan confirmed that the criminal trial of Donald Trump will indeed go forward on March 25, 2024, the day of the Libra Lunar Eclipse displayed, below. Yes, it's difficult to keep all the 'Trump trials' straight, but this the one that concerns Trump's $130,000 hush money payment to Stormy Daniels in order to keep her quiet about their hook-up just a couple of weeks prior to Election 2016, because such a sex scandal might've "looked bad" to Trump voters - and perhaps keeping the illicit night of amour from Melania might have mattered to him.

So above is the Lunar Eclipse Horoscope of March 25, 2024 surrounded by a few of Trump's natal placements highlighted in blue. Primarily, this revealing eclipse lands directly upon agent orange's natal 2nd hou$e Neptune Rx (6Lib55), planet of secrets, fraudulent schemes, disguises, deception, ideals, and more. Of course, "disguising" his actions is what he tried to do, but testimonies from Stormy and others should hopefully remove the mask from his underhanded machinations. Naturally, Trump's natal Chiron and stationary Jupiter in Libra (the boundary-breaker, always whining it's not fair! when he's in a jam) are part of the action via the Lunar Eclipse and this will add additional energies to the complexity of the situation.

Of course, as with all Full Moons, relationships are major components of the Lunar Eclipse and the trial itself, particularly since it's in Venus-ruled Libra, sign of Partnerships and the Scales of Justice. Plus, full awareness and perhaps a culmination phase will be reached issuing from the planning/seeding stage at the New Moon of March 10, 2024 @20Pis17: that's Pisces, sign of secrets and confusion - unless the Piscean fish swims upward toward the higher realms.

So! My study notes are messily penned on the Lunar Eclipse Horoscope in case you want them. Examples include: Moon conjuncts the defendant's natal Neptune, Sun opposes his natal Neptune, Eclipse Mercury (testimony) squares Trump's natal Saturn, planet of realism, facts, karma, limits, accountability, authority, and the law. And as usual with this defendant, delays may occur or be attempted, and/or communications might be limited in some way. A gag order comes to mind.

Then squished into the aspect grid area are a few notes concerning the Eclipse's unaspected Saturn, plus, listed are cosmic links to the natal Sun, Moon, and Mars of Stormy Daniels. Additionally, a dear reader such as yourself will spy more planetary contacts, I'm quite certain.

Now to close, here's a famous quote from a fellow who shares the Sun Aries-Moon Libra combo of energies of this Lunar Eclipse, journalist-essayist-critic William Hazlitt:

"The love of liberty is the love of others; the love of power is the love of ourselves."

To me, this describes the tiresome, anti-societal Democrat v Republican stalemate used by US politicians against us with one party believing that taxpayer monies are for We the People's needs, while the other finagles all monies toward the wealthy class, while embezzling the rest.

Note: Hazlitt's natal chart has no accurate time but if you glance at it, you'll see multiple contacts from the Libra Lunar Eclipse of March 25, 2024, including the fact that the brilliant fellow is in the midst of a posthumous Pluto Return!

Netanyahu: Natal and Progressed 2024

For current and future reference, here are the natal chart of Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu (lower left), along with his Secondary Progressed ('SP') Full Moon @13Can23 perfecting on October 25, 2024. We should add that "Bibi"s natal data is rated 'C' so there may be some discrepancy in his natal and SP charts causing the timing to be somewhat off:

5 North and The Nodal Axis of Destiny and Direction

Mr. Netanyahu was born into the 5 North Saros Series via his PE of April 28, 1949 @7Taurus42, a stubborn sign of rigidity even when cooperation is needed for karmic progress. A 5 North Eclipse last manifested on June 10, 2021 @20Gemini in the midst of Trump's 10th house trio of Uranus-NN-Sun; 5N themes include 'prophetic dreams, useful hunches, visions' (paraphrasing B. Brady).

Meanwhile, some folks have observed that Netanyahu is "like Trump" which may have something to do with the fact that, among other connections, both men have their Mars @26Leo+, and Netanyahu's Libra planets and South Node land within Trump's 2nd house trio of Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter. There are religious implications therein along with grand schemes aided by Mercury-Neptune fantasies and spins of the truth. Lies promoted for political reasons are suggested.

Now Netanyahu was born with a Neptune-South-Node conjunction (with his Libra Moon nearby) while Trump was born with a Moon-South-Node conjunction. Both these Nodal conjunctions indicate lack of popularity with the masses and fluctuating success. And with shady Neptune, intrigue and unfortunate circumstances are attached. With the Moon, emotional alienation or estrangement are denoted, and with both Nodal conjunctions, a tendency toward bad timing is indicated.

New Associations, Fresh Intrigue, More Theft

Curiously, Netanyahu will experience a Nodal Return (@16Ari41) on February 20, 2024 and this will cast a cosmic spotlight upon his Neptune-SN conjunction (SN = the "tail of the dragon") - conjunct transit Chiron @16Ari47 conjunct his Aries North Node - just as transit Neptune @26Pis23 precisely conjuncts Netanyahu's natal IC (also @26Pis23) of Endings, The Drain, and Domestic Scene. Somehow, an undermining influence is in store for him, perhaps with a 'spies enter the country' flavor. Yet we must add that the Neptune-to-IC transit is exact (26:23) as long as the birth time of his natal chart is accurate. Perhaps this transit will confirm it!

Treaty of Versailles: a Cancerian Affair

In the horoscope of the Treaty of Versailles, the agreement that ended World War I, we find the critical 29th degree of Libra rising: Libra, sign of diplomacy - and with its polar opposite sign ruled by warrior planet Mars, the war axis, conjunct the Descendant.

These days, the current beating of war drums by Putin and others of a despotic mindset causes me to wonder, Who Wants Another World War? How about you, dear reader? Got any family members you'd like taking part in yet another ritual sacrifice to please psychotic, profiteering warmongers?

Putin Threatens Poland and the World

As most folks know, Ronald Reagan once described the Soviet Union in a 1983 speech as "the evil empire," a label which now, more than ever, conjures images of the Saturn-Pluto planetary pair. At least it does for most astrologers. A few details are available here: Ukraine Crisis, Putin, and Saturn-Pluto. We should note that 22/23Capricorn is considered a degree of governmental authority (N. DeVore) and is the spot in the Zodiac that the current Saturn-Pluto Cycle began on January 12, 2020 (@22:46) - conjunct Trump's natal Vertex of fated encounters.

Saturn-Pluto potentials include, but are not limited to:

Reactionaries; violent people (R. Ebertin); upsets in checks and balances; use of secret or military police; turmoil in older structures; secret preparation for future restrictions (Project 2025?); consideration of ways to remove or destroy (paraphrasing M. Munkasey's Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets #ad). Obviously, sinister motives are implied and bode ill for civilization, just as another world war would do.

Putin: World War III If US Sends Troops to Ukraine

Feeling his oats, Russian dictator, Putin, has made a not-so-veiled threat against Poland during his recent interview with his toady Mr. Carlson (and Effer's Sun-Taurus-Moon Taurus personality), so I'm sharing here the Poland--Democratic Horoscope found in Nicholas Campion's The Book of World Horoscopes (#ad) in case a reader might wish to check it out, or keep an eye on it, whatever. Is AG Merrick Garland "spineless"?

Previously, we discussed the personality blend of AG Merrick Garland (Sun Scorpio-Moon Libra) but now that he's under attack more than ever for his handling of "the Trump trials," his appointment of over-stepper Robert Hur, and other legal matters, so a look at two particular Solar Eclipses would be informative regarding the cosmic energies affecting AG Garland's natal planets now and in 2024, and, by extension, affecting legal matters, Election 2024, and the Department of Justice in the US.

Above is a dual image of the two "Garland-adjacent" eclipses: one is the 7 South Eclipse of October 14, 2023 (lower left) with themes of 'crisis', or, 'a huge obstacle suddenly clears'--B. Brady) in effect as I type and operative until the Great American Eclipse of April 8, 2024--along with an Eclipse repeating in Garland's personal 8 South Solar Eclipse Series on October 2, 2024 @10Libra (upper right); 8S themes: 'loss, separation, sad partings; overstrain, possible physical injury' (B. Brady), and acting as the PE influencing Election 2024 and Inauguration 2025.

Yet without an accurate birth time for Merrick Garland, we can't be certain where 10Libra falls in his natal chart, but the point is, 8 South is his personal eclipse series so its themes are coming up for review in his life and gives him the opportunity to deal more successfully with events brought along by the eclipse. Of interest is that his Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') prior to his birth occurred @27Leo31 - conjunct royal Regulus back on August 20, 1952. Previously, an 8 South Eclipse manifested on August 21, 1933 @28Leo--conjunct Regulus. And this creates a cosmic time link from Garland's 1952 Eclipse through October 2, 2024, then back to the Nazi era - all three are 8 South Eclipses.

So last but not least, let's assess solar eclipse potentials when they manifest in the Venus-ruled Libra, sign of the Scales of Justice:

Positive expression includes issues of 'fair play, cooperation, impartiality, karmic relationships, and the promotion of world justice'. Negative expression includes: 'spinelessness; injustice, insincerity, and self-indulgence'. (paraphrasing R. Lineman, Eclipses).

So it's sad to say for democracy, but when it comes to having the courage to stop Fascism from taking over America, perhaps AG Garland's critics are spot-on.

SCOTUS Throws America Under the Bus

Lately I'm in a snit of miffdom and feeling fussy regarding our country's form of government under threat, in large part due to the recent anti-constitutional side-eyes from Supreme Court justices. Perhaps you're feeling fussy, too.

Now last year on SO'W we considered SCOTUS Decisions: Law and Domination, a post containing several links concerning today's topic.

This year, on February 8, 2024, Supreme Court justices heard oral arguments of great interest to our nation's future and which could be heard via C-SPAN, so listen I did. If you need it, the full audio is available here.

As you know, the questions from the justices, three liberals included, raised issues that lean on the side of Trumpian Fascism and its opportunity to take power again as the court threw the US Constitution's 14th Amendment Article 3 provision 'under the bus' along with its clear intention to disqualify insurrectionists (such as Jefferson Davis and his Confederate bros) from ever holding government office again.

But is Trump an "officer?," the justices plaintively opined. Well, he took the Oath of Office, didn't he? And then created chaos and division from within the Venusian Oval Office for four long years. Duh.

Disturbingly, the logic and necessity of adding such an Amendment to the Constitution in the years after the Civil War - until President Grant signed the Amnesty Act of 1872, eluded The Bench's braintrust, as they quibbled over semantics and failed to focus on the genuine issues at hand, so they were able to ignore the more pertinent considerations of the mess we're in. And so, SC justices punted which means that Trump seems likely to stay on the ballot in Colorado and elsewhere.

And this travesty, no matter how another term of Trump in the White House would tear our country apart while he finishes the job of destroying democracy.

Now one of the more disengenuous concerns was voiced by Justice Elena Kagan: that a single state shouldn't elect the president--which is exactly what Florida did in the 2000 Election when then-Chief-Justice Rhenquist tossed the presidency to George W. Bush by stopping the state's recount. Candidate Al Gore had millions more votes, but Dubya got the plum. And you know what misguided plans that led to.

February 8, 2024: notable midpoint picture potentials:

Sun = Saturn-Pluto: sparing no pains in one's work; renunciation; (Sun conjunct Cupido = spotlight on Corporatism, The Syndicate; The Family: intimidation? jc)

Saturn = Sun-Neptune: bad blood; emotional affliction; inhibitions via physical disability (or threats of it? - jc).

Pluto = Mercury-Mars: fanatic critics; sharp analysts; overzealous orators; suffering heavy assaults from others (if they don't tow the fascist line? - jc).

North Node = Jupiter-Neptune: swindlers and speculators; placing false hopes upon associations. (R. Ebertin). Nah! They all were probably swayed hard-right way before now. The "conservative" justices certainly were, as we know. No ethics to worry about there!

Then incidentally, legal eagle Saturn @7Pis19 on February 8th conjoined one of the Dark Moons (w'mat2) suggesting melancholy for some, secret agendas for others, Chiron in Aries sandwiched between Jupiter and Neptune which echoes the natal 2nd house trio of Herr Trump (Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter at RxS). But wait a minute: the Lunar Eclipse of March 25, 2024 @5Lib07 will land directly upon, and reveal secrets and deceptions concerning, the wanna-be dictator's natal Neptune in his 2nd house of possessions, earning ability, and values. This could be good.

So now, here's an excerpt from a previous post concerning Neptune's transit to the SCOTUS Saturn, karmic planet of law, legal systems, judges, and government:

"Other possibilities with Neptune-to-Saturn include contagion (Neptune) affecting judges or other court officials (Saturn) to a hobbling degree, there may be loss although it's impossible to say from what cause (it may be mysterious!), and/or there may be some combination of inspired ideals and misguided notions being argued during proceedings. Naturally, other court circuits may be affected as well (Saturn) with substandard judges attempting to adjudicate in positions they should not have taken due to inexperience, ill-preparedness, lack of education, and/or odd or strange ideas. Looking ahead, there's a helpful glow appearing in the Spring Equinox 2024 Horoscope so focusing on this would not go amiss!

How any voter in 2024 could possibly consider the draconian plan of the GOP worth voting for in November is beyond me. It must be because of their vain assumption that the suffering will be brought upon their fellow Americans, the ones that they themselves hate, while Trump and comrades will protect their loved ones - which means Trump voters will be balancing upon the very pentacle of gullibility with many harsh lessons to learn.

Modern Humanity's Feb 2024 Mars Return

Today a post to show this evening's Mars Return to the Modern Humanity Horoscope which is based on the third of three Great Neptune-Pluto Conjunctions @7Gem41/42. The Neptune-Pluto Cycle is of such duration, 492/3 years, that their Conjunction is *it* for you and me, dear reader.

Mars exalted in Saturn-ruled Capricorn indicates potentials for 'a sense of reality, sober deliberations, efficient use and direction of energy, the will to succeed, independence, and working zeal, but also for 'over-estimation of self, defiance, egoism, and obstinacy' (R. Ebertin).

Transit Pluto conjunct Mars suggests a period of increased stamina and determination for some folks, but can also denote intense competition, aggression, anger, secrecy, use of force and persuasion, and/or acts of revenge. This is a highly karmic transit and also points toward weapons of war and war itself.

And so a new cycle of activity begins this evening via Modern Humanity's Mars and its Sabian Symbol for 27 Capricorn: "A Mountain Pilgrimage," quite the esoteric hint if we consider the mountain/pyramid images on the dollar bill and on America's Great Seal. April 30, 1892 @7Gem42 (the above horoscope) with the Neptune-Pluto duo representing Underworld Crime Syndicates, often known as organized crime and mobsterism. My suspicion is that their 1891/92 conjunctions in early Gemini landing upon US 1776 Uranus spotlights today's crop of zealots, rebels, secessionists, and anarchists of the Maga persuasion - scofflaws who break laws with abandon and resent any attempts to hold them accountable.
