Astro-Notes on Kim Jong Un: meeting Pluto

When Two Dictators Get Together What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

The birth year of North Korea's ruler Kim Jong Un is suspect with a Rodden Rating of XX (undetermined). The years 1982, 1983, and 1984 have been suggested for Kim's birth while January 8 does seem to be the case (and even his pal Dennis Rodman has mentioned it as his birth day the year that Kim turned 30 years old, Rodman said--so, 1983). Of course, this uncertainty makes it iffy to bother comparing the natal planets of Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump (whose birth data is apparently certain but the hour? Does royal Regulus really rise with Trump's Mars in Leo? well, he is a 'king' in his own mind as once again evidenced currently by Trump's assertion that he can autocratically pardon himself).

So we can be nearly certain that Kim was born with Sun in Capricorn, the Saturn-ruled sign of government, law, and business. If born January 8, 1983 he may have a Scorpio Moon, if in 1984, a Pisces Moon. Both are Water signs, both secretive but Scorpio is a Fixed (rigid) sign while Pisces is Mutable and changeable. One suggests reigning needs of Scorpionic proportions which include issues of control, finances, surveillance, sabotage, and betrayal while creative Pisces' needs include compassion and sacrifice. Therefore, to me the birth data argument for Kim seems weighted toward the January 8, 1983 side with a Scorpio Moon and Sun in Capricorn and the combination's Saturn-Mars-Pluto influences. Curiously, a transiting trio of energies have recently been constellated between this same trio by the recent formation of a certain midpoint picture -- Mars-Saturn = Pluto, and this is a 'natal echo' for Donald Trump who was born under the brutal, violent influences of this very same midpoint picture on June 14, 1946.

Now a brooding Scorpio Moon isn't necessarily the case for Kim, but that's how I'm leaning at present. And note that his natal Sun at around 17/18Cap is now being 'visited' by creepy, powerful wealth-hoarder of the Underworld, planet Pluto suggesting a period when recognition as 'a force to be reckoned with' is on his agenda. Power struggles, will power, dominance, ego needs, pride, and aggression are also revealed by a Pluto-to-Sun transit along with a potential for a new start of some kind once plutonian issues and ego-based demands are successfully dealt with.

Of course, astrological Pluto also represents the nuclear realms, plus, the Creepy One may on a deep level signify Mr. Trump himself (Pluto in Capricorn = the dictator, Ebertin) coming to meet Kim's natal Sun at their June 12, 2018 Singapore Summit of low expectations as only a getting to know you chat. The recently announced hour of 9:00 am Singapore time (June 11 9:00 pm in the US, EDT) was unknown to me when I previously posted on their June 12 meeting but here's that post if you're curious. Two of Singapore's founding horoscopes are included. On June 12, 2018 in Singapore at 9:00 am local time, Trump's natal Saturn in Cancer rises with his Venus in Cancer in tow (Ascendant 19 Cancer). For Kim (if born in 1983), his natal Pluto @29Libra is first to rise followed by his natal Saturn in early Scorpio and the Scorpio Moon.

Kim Jong Un's 2 South Prenatal Solar Eclipse (1983)

Just a quick note concerning his 2 South Solar Eclipse with its theme of: noticing and joining an unusual group from which great gains are expected (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). As the Cosmos would have it, a solar eclipse in the 2 South Saros Series repeats on January 6, 2019 @15Capricorn--not conjunct Kim's natal Sun but possibly near enough to be of some influence. As you know, eclipses influence history by working through individuals so if such a group/great gains theme plays out for Kim Jong Un, this will support the theory of a 1983 birth year for the leader of North Korea.

In closing, here are a few astro-notes concerning the Earth-Water Sun Cap-Moon Scorpio personality blend of energies:

Sun Cap-Moon Scorpio is a self-possessed, resilient,, tenacious combination of a tireless worker who has no time for fools (Trump is in trouble on that score since Kim knows that it only takes flattery ladled plentifully onto Trump's shaky ego to completely psyche him out!) Goals and values are personal obsessions for this personality which is constantly vigilant for attacks that come from all directions. Shrewd and self-controlled, Kim Jong Un is not the out-of-control character Western media has often painted him to be and this June 12 summit may reveal which of the two participants are better described by such criticism. However, Kim can temporarily 'go off the deep end' when motivated by disturbing emotions. Blind to his own prejudices (as are most people!), Kim is undeterred by obstacles and defensive againt all threats which helps account in part for his nuclear stance in the world. And if this is his personality blend, the idea that Kim will never give up his nuclear program seems justified on a very deep and personal level.

Besides, after years of bragging about its nukes (and even writing them into the NK Constitution!) de-nuclearization would be a huge cultural shift. Would Kim actually give up his nuclear weapons? Or won't but say he did?

Jupiterian Donald Trump Gets a New Moon for His 72nd Birthday

June 3, 2018: As you've heard, and unless something changes, defense lawyers reviewing Michael Cohen's seized papers, documents, emails, and other information for attorney-client privilege issues have been given a deadline of June 15, 2018, a date near the birthday (June 14) and the Solar Return 2018 of Mr. Trump (Sun to natal degree perfects June 13, as you can see). The following post concerns the early part of Mr. Trump's upcoming solar year coupled with his next Lunar Return of June 26, 2018 (21Sag12), plus, a few notes on the activities of transit Jupiter in Scorpio.

Previously posted is his May 30, 2018 Lunar Return, ongoing as I type and revealing a very busy month which includes mid-June events such as the deadline noted, above, and the much-hyped 'Singapore Summit' said to be back on the schedule for June 12--unless one or both of the two prima donnas take a quixotic notion to cancel again.

And yes, maybe he'll get out of his self-created legal messes after all--at least partially. But we should also note that the New Moon @22Gem44 of June 13, 2018 conjoins US natal Mars in Gemini and will activate our nation's tiresomely problematic Mars-Neptune square. Leaders who deliberately mislead lurk in the shadows of this New Moon and confrontations with reality prevail.

Cosmic Synchronicity At Work

Note that the New Moon is the Syzygy Moon of his 2018 Solar Return and in Gemini the lunation recalls candidate Trump's 'prez bid' announcement of June 16, 2015 @25Gem07--his paid-audience 'escalator' speech at Trump Tower. (Of course, a new cycle for US politics began then too and We the People continue to pay for it.) That Mr. Trump's natal Sun sets in his 2018 Solar Return chart may be descriptive of his current condition, plus, we should note that the Moon rules the 8th house of Transition, Corporatism, Shared Resources, Insurance, Credit/Debit, the Occult, and Death so changes are due in those realms as well.

As you see, both Return charts are ruled by Jupiter via the Sag Ascendants yet Jupiter applies to no planet in either Return chart which places the emphasis on Jupiter's sign and house positions. Here it's Jupiter in 11th house of Groups and in the big-business/scandal/surveillance-betrayal sign of Scorpio with transit Jupiter turning Direct @13Sco20 on July 10, 2018. Eventually, tr Jupiter will conjoin Trump's natal IC and enter his 4th house from where the planet of expansion will oppose Trump's natal trio of Uranus-NN-Sun. Of course, tr Jupiter to his natal South Node is part of the transit picture too and tacks on potentials for additional blockages, obstacles, ethical problems, and conflicts of interest coming to the surface--as could Mr. Mueller's report if it hasn't already been revealed by February 2019 when tr Jupiter hits Mr. Trump's natal South Node.

Jupiter in Scorpio Will Leave His Shadow

Prior to entering Trump's 4th house, transit Jupiter must reach and move beyond his shadow degree of 23Sco13 where he (seemed to) turn retrograde on March 8, 2018--stopping short just before conjoining Trump's natal IC (24Sco18) and entering his 4th house. Yet this Jupiterian shift is coming for the broadcaster-in-chief (Jupiter in 4th = expansion, redecoration, or change of residence?) for the first time in approximately 12 years. You may remember that it was in 2006 that real estate (4th house) mogul Donald Trump remarked that he hoped the real estate market tanked and that was about two years before it actually did. Was Trump prescient? Or merely tipped off? Was he in with the Wall Street in-crowd?

Now it's true that some improvements may be noticed around or just after July 10 when Jupiter turns Direct which involve growth, development, finances, or the promise of them by Jupiterian politicians. Yet before things can really move forward within the realms of Jupiter, the expansive planet of generosity must pass his shadow degree of 23Sco13 where he paused and turned retrograde on March 8, 2018 and this won't occur until October 6, 2018. Then the Great Benefic will be free to conjoin Trump's natal IC--once on October 12, 2018 from whence bossy 'Zeus' will do as he pleases. Does this describe Trump's happy release from White House occupancy and a return to his previous lifestyle? Or will freedom be denied? Perhaps a touch of house arrest?!? Well, another possible indicator should be factored in--the three conjunctions all through 2019 of tr Jupiter to Donald Trump's natal Moon, a 'feel good' transit if there ever was one! But will its soothing vibes be enough to mitigate or moderate the negative implications of other transits to his planets? Factual Saturn and corrupt Neptune may testify otherwise.

Jupiter @23Scor13 Midpoint Pictures: Any, All, or None May Apply

Now for the sake of comparison, here are potentials embedded within the midpoint pictures in the horoscopes of Jupiter Rx March 8 and Jupiter to shadow degree October 6 which may be of interest since the Jupiterian Mr. Trump was born within hours of a prominent Jupiter Station @17Lib27, with Mr. Moneybags then moving forward within his 2nd house of Money, Earning Ability, Possessions, and Values--and in 2006, US Mars turned retrograde by progression conjunct that very same degree and we see how successful and fortunate (Jupiter) Trump's broadcasts and glowing promises (Jupiter) have used the inwardly turned, weakened males (US Mars Rx) of our nation while promoting (Jupiter) negatives in society such as violence, war, nuclear stand-offs, bigotry, playboy behavior toward women, misogyny, anger against males who impede him, denigration of traditions and institutions (Mars Rx) and divides Americans one against the another:

Trump's May 30 2018 Moon Return: an eventful month

Donald Trump's Very Karmic Lunar Return of May 30, 2018

Today, May 30, 2018, at 11:56:20 am edt, a Lunar or Moon Return for Donald Trump perfected. The horoscope you see below of the Return is set for today at the White House and predicts for him a prominent, eventful, and important month because the horoscope features angles and cusps that are basically those of Trump's natal angles and cusps. This cosmic condition makes his personal month which begins this very day significant for him until his next Lunar Return on June 26, 2018.

As you know, Lunar Returns reveal insights into how our daily lives will proceed for a particular month and the prevailing emotional mood or trends but for a public figure, more info can be gleaned from a Return chart (of any kind including Lunar) since their lives are usually more eventful than the average bear's anyway. And of course, the astrological Moon relates to multiple areas of life such as unconscious motivations, reigning emotional needs (Tyl), health issues or concerns, and the women in one's life, plus, family members--his ruled by the expansive moneybags planet, Jupiter.

Also a significant factor in any planetary, lunar, or solar return chart is that whatever natal aspects the celestial body held in the natal chart are re-activated on various levels of the personality. So as you know, Trump's Moon conjoins natal South Node and opposes natal Sun-NN, a cosmic picture of his relationship axis which involves his current marriage issues with wife Melania and his family ties disappointing, jeopardizing, or otherwise displeasing him. Any Moon-South Node contact can be a lonely, isolating proposition especially when one is haplessly motivated by unconscious, neurotic impulses and obsessions defensively formed in the past. Neurotic because these defenses worked okay in past situations but no longer serve a constructive purpose in the present--yet they are relied upon anyway similar to constantly using the 'head against a brick wall' stupidity.

Now I don't have to mention here all the scandals and legal issues Mr. Trump is dealing or not dealing with currently or the fact that most of them are due to his own actions in the past (karmic Saturn's realm) for most of his troubles are, in a word, self-created. He likely feels he's caught in a vise that's closing (a la Mr. Mueller and his team) and normally I would feel sad for him--well, I do, but mostly I feel sad for America that we've all been put in the position of accepting (or not) an Oval Office tenure for a man like Donald Trump who was placed in position by dark forces. Perhaps this is primarily due to the fact that any brand of mobsterism is a no-go for yours truly, and the old 'ends justifies the means' attitude of Machiavellianism sucks heartily in my personal opinion--and always has. We are our brothers' keepers even though the unprincipled Mr. Trump does not subscribe to that common-good principle and has no apparent means of appreciating or adopting any mode of existence but that which exalts his own self-interest.

But that's part of the point--transit Neptune continues to square Trump's natal Moon (@22Sag = "A Chinese Laundry"--hint hint!) while other Saturnian transits add to his difficulties for lesson-bringer Saturn demands accountability, realism, and authenticity, while Neptune lies, confuses, attempts to cover up, and brings paranoia and fear into any overwhelming situation and involves flooding, leaking, subterfuge, betrayal, fraud, and disguise. Transit Neptune in mid-Pisces also squares his Nodal axis--with his natal Moon conjunct natal South Node (of the Moon), a karmic, reap-what's-sown condition for him (and thus by extension, for America and the American people) and it very much includes his unconscious compulsions learned during childhood--one reason he's sometimes called a 'man-baby'.

Because as you know, the adolescent stage of life never fully developed or evolved into Saturnian maturity! Actually, his natal Saturn in Moon-ruled Cancer denotes an emotionally hypersensitive, discontented fellow, an emotional loner. And yes, uncertain Neptune square his Nodal axis muddies his public image and tries to hide the ties, contacts, encounters, and meetings now under close scrutiny. Note that Neptune can also bring loss, fear, disappointment, and/or theft of possessions.

Then to complicate matters for all of us, add Trump's Mars rising--testy, hypersensitive, and red-faced--in arrogant Leo, sign of a natural leader, and we've got plenty of troubles of our own, thanks to Trump's emotional complexes, impulsive nature, lack of self-esteem, feelings and fears of inferiority and of being considered 'wrong' or insignificant, criminal underworld connections, and tremendous anger and rage issues. Among many other things he's a brooder and a pouter!

A Magnificent May 2018?

So May 2018 began for Mr. Trump with yet another in a series of Saturn transits seen via The Establishment challenging the ideas, plans, commercial interests and transactions, and the attitudes of Donald Trump and his Mercury (@8Cancer). Here karmic Saturn times an ongoing Saturnian period of depression, obstacles, blocks, delays, scrutiny, and demands from authority figures. Add to this transit Neptune square natal Moon and potentials include emotional depression (did wife Melania really move back to NYC?), obstacles, shifting alliances, issues of unreliability, and scandals based on his own past (and current) behavior (ex: crimes, overstepping legal boundaries of the Executive Branch, and other outrages). Tragically, he made his crooked bed and now We The People must recline in it.

See 2018 Saturn to Trump Natal Mercury-Neptune Square, aspect of a pathological fantasist now being held to account by realistic, law abiding Saturn.

And yet at least a partial reprieve may arrive once the predicted 'Blue Wave' (Neptune!) occurs in November 2018 at the Midterm Elections with as many Democratic victors as possible in order to 'turn the tide' in Congress. Or that's the narrative the public is being sold in a nation where most if not all politicians and media figures are compromised by corporate 'big bucks' and glowing promises of continuing elite status--which, with oceanic Neptune involved, may or may not be the case for each one of them who now carry water for the Global Crime Syndicate/s.

Eclipses Are Karmic and Affect History bwo Individuals

So as you see, 'The Great American Eclipse' of August 21, 2017 @29 Leo rises precisely along with Trump's natal ASC, Mars, and royal Regulus (a star whose caution to 'avoid revenge' Trump has not heeded). You'll remember that this Total Solar Eclipse 'split' America across its middle--separating North and South, a symbolic cosmic condition with fated undertones which I believe (you may disagree) involves issues created by adherents of such groups as the white supremacy ('Brotherhood'), the Klan, and the NRA. Russian (Chinese and Arab) agents infiltrating and sabotaging the US government are entangled in there somewhere, with the Oval Office being one spot we can reliably find at least one. As someone recently said, Shake any tree in the Trump forest and a Russian falls out.

The day flees and so the rest of Mr. Trump's Lunar Return for May 30, 2018 I shall leave up to you, dear reader, for Mr. Trump is a fascinating personality full of greed, revenge, lust, bigotry, deception, and other components made creepier by his natal Pluto in Leo unaspected.

So in closing, here's an excerpt from a previous post concerning Trump's unaspected Pluto:

Unaspected Pluto @10Leo02 in 12th house of the Unconscious suggests one who is 'overshadowed by shadows' (Tierney) with Pluto, the isolationist, being the planet of Psychology, Psychiatry, and persuasion. There are subterranean forces within his psyche that are totally fragmented from the rest of his personality and because they are buried, he is unaware of them which gives them even greater primal power. This, I believe, suggests the "he can't help himself" remarks that perhaps you've heard from commentators and reporters (exs: all-hours tweeting about former Miss America, Alicia Machado and her weight gain, and other crass behaviors and remarks that set him back in the polls).

Unaspected Pluto is the essence of overwhelming compulsions and powerful wealth-hoarder Pluto (the plundering plutocrat and manipulator) needs aspects to other planets in order to modulate its extreme tendencies. But with Mr. Trump, Pluto doesn't receive them, and nor do his other planets which could use the regeneration principle that Pluto could supply via aspect. And we have to say that Pluto's association with nuclear weapons is difficult to accept if under the thumb of Mr. Trump, the plutonian.

Pluto Gone Wild, Trump Off the Leash!

Now we must put a double emphasis on the condition of Mr. Trump's natal Pluto in egotistical Leo since Pluto is out-of-bounds as well as unaspected. When OOBs, Pluto embodies the lawless, mold-breaking, zaniness of an OOBs planet along with an outside-the-box style of thinking and speaking that breaks boundaries and cannot be under anyone's control. Pluto grabs power (and publicity) and we don't need Astrology to tell us that this describes Mr. Trump to a T.

However, disturbingly for our country, an OOBs Pluto, archetypal god of the Underworld, may also indicate one who is a sociopath and/or a criminal, particularly in the Leonine realm of gold and finances. So perhaps there is more to the infrequent whispers of mafia ties than have so far been revealed (edit 5/30/18: yes! Russian mobster ties and money laundering in which I include China and Arab countries Trump's natal Jupiter-Neptune pairing is the sign of a speculator). Certainly his oppressive business dealings are in the news via contractors and others who have worked for him but not not been paid, plus, the tax avoidance made possible by laws that favor the wealthy--legal, yes, but anti-societal and hypocritical of him. And the primal violence of Pluto has been part of his campaign--even to the point of hinting at Second Amendment gun violence as an antidote to certain problems via Pluto, the assassin, aided by aggressor Mars (edit 5/30/18: his enraged Mars rising).

Epic Systems vs. Lewis Decision, Closer to Slavery? It's Already Here

In the big news of the day, the Supreme Court voted 5-4, with Neil Gorsuch casting the deciding vote, in favor of Epic Systems, thus allowing employers to block employees from grouping together in order to fight legal disputes in employment arbitration agreements. This basically makes it easier for employers to underpay their employees, known as wage theft. The reaction to this verdict is basically that it's another step closer to slavery, but to be honest, slavery is already here. Wage slavery.

In the current economic system, in order to maintain a decent standard of living, you basically have to work a 9-5 schedule every day, outside of holidays and weekends, for around 40-45 years until you're eligible for Social Security, which is basically their way of saying that "you're too old to produce reliably for us, so here you go and hope you die soon". If you don't go through that type of lifestyle, it is very difficult to survive, that is, unless you're a celebrity, and you'll notice that there are numerous pictures of celebrities making Illuminati hand signs, just like our elected officials. So that's basically a way of telling people that they need to sell their soul to the Illuminati if they want to have a comfortable life without all the hassle and grind. Where is the freedom in that? This verdict has basically made an already repressive system even more repressive, which will only hasten the end of the system.

Pluto in Capricorn

Ever since 2008, Pluto has been in the sign of Capricorn, the sign of government and big business. Pluto is known as the transformer in astrology, and surely enough, it is transforming these areas. This transit, along with Neptune in Pisces, is playing a major role in the people wanting a government that works in their best interest. Universal Health Care and Universal Basic Income are gaining major traction, along with free tuition. Self-driving cars are also likely to be in the future, eliminating the need to pay oil companies in order to travel. The Stoneman Douglas High School activists' push for gun control is exposing the GOP's favoritism of money from the NRA over children's lives. Pluto is doing its job, but as expected, the people in power are becoming more repressive in order to maintain their power. Nobody is able to defeat astrology in the end, though, especially when the transit has yet to reach its peak, with the US undergoing its Pluto return in 2022. This is basically telling the country to transform, or else Pluto will do it for them. Also, with the Pluto in Sagittarius generation starting to come of age, by then, the Pluto in Libra, Pluto in Scorpio, and Pluto in Sagittarius generations will be the majority of the voters at that time, and all three of these signs are in the second half of the zodiac, which had more to do with the collective, rather than the individual like the first half of the zodiac.

This exposes Trump as part of The Establishment

Trump's campaign was all about him being anti Establishment and "draining the swamp", despite him being exactly what we're fighting against, and his actions since becoming President have been anything but anti Establishment, as he has numerous Establishment Republicans in his cabinet, such as Jeff Sessions, Nikki Haley, Rudy Giuliani, Ben Carson, and Rick Perry to name a few, and he has been more pro corporation than any other President since Reagan. Trump picked Neil Gorsuch, who was approved by the GOP Congress. This exposes Trump as being part of the problem, and a big part of the problem at that, rather than a solution.

In turn, this verdict didn't push us closer to slavery, but it made the wage slavery we already have more oppressive than it already is. All I can say is that this is just another reason I'm grateful to NOT be a taxpayer, as it must be very self defeating to send your tax dollars to these people every year so they can screw you even more. Hopefully there are tax revolts soon, as it would be impossible to arrest everyone if a significant majority of people refuse to file out of protest. We the people need to send a message that corporate welfare will not fly anymore.

Betsey DeVos: Sun in Capricorn unaspected

Here are some planetary details concerning Trump's Education Secretary Betsey DeVos using a 'noon' time for her birth on January 8, 1958 in Holland, Michigan (nee Elisabeth Prince, Erik's sister). Since taking over her post, DeVos has done little but stir up controversy and anger at her unfitness for the position she has been gifted with in spite of her inexperience. From here it seems that her tenure is little more than an assault on our public education system although certainly much criticism can be leveled against it prior to her installment. In fact, privatization of our schools and the resulting profit for the exalted few seem to be her mission yet our public school teachers need more funding and support than they get in recent years--part of the plan to undermine the entire education system, one must suppose, and with a streak of religious proselytizing tossed in for 'good' measure by this silver-spoon billionaire whose husband heads pyramid scheme, Amway. America's tradition of separation of church and state means nothing to such people.

Never a teacher or in the education field before, DeVos can't seem to put a non-controversial foot forward as our know-nothing Secretary of Education and 'school choice hawk'. Check out the latest of her controversial statements I found just this evening saying that schools can report undocumented students. What a tool!

As for her astrology chart, I don't care to discuss its merits but I will add to the analysis linked, above, a few factors--that her Prenatal Solar Eclipse perfected on October 23, 1957 @30Libra (conjunct her natal Jupiter--and her Venus in Aquarius is Station Rx) in the 14 North Saros Series. We've met this series in a significant way before, as the Sequestration Eclipse of November 25, 2011 (2Sag) when shadowy figures thought it a 'good' idea to form a 'Super Congress' to deal with the financial impasse of the day. Notably, the primary theme of 14 North is: 'a peculiar turn of events' and 'too much delusion to make clear judgments' (Brady) so if I had to critique Betsey DeVos as she plays the role of Education Secretary, I'd say Trump's choice of her was and is a peculiar turn of events for America--one of many on his well-populated list of know-nothing saboteurs.

Now if Elisabeth Prince DeVos was born at 5:58:49 pm est or after, her Moon is in Virgo but if before, she's a Sun Cap-Moon Leo personality. Not seeming brash enough to me, I'd guess a double Earth Sun Cap-Moon Virgo (the critic!) or maybe that's too practical for her odd views! Well, let's compare the Harveys' Images for Integration for both blends and you see what you think:

Sun Cap-Moon Leo: "After a lone, silent climb up your mountain you greet the spotlights and television cameras with flair and aplomb." Hmm, sounds plausible. This has actually happened for her, hasn't it?

Sun Cap-Moon Virgo: "A famous, prize-winning scientist takes up the humble position of chemistry teacher in a quiet village school." No scientist or teacher she! Yet there is the school reference. So which blend do you think is closer to her personality? Guess I must go with the Leo Moon of one who cannot get enough praise and applause to ever fill the emotional void.

The last thing I hope to ever type about Betsey Devos is that her natal Sun is unaspected in her chart. This condition suggests a person whose Sun, here in Saturn-ruled Capricorn, is placed in a conspicuous position in her chart and receives no moderation from other components of her psyche. Focused on her self-importance, she appears detached and aloof from others and this may in part account for her ability to seem unfazed by any criticism since her sense of authority comes only from within. As with Mr. Trump, DeVos lives in her own self-absorbed world which completely diminishes her ability to respond to others in any meaningful way--including the millions of American students who are now (unfortunately, imho) her responsibility.

May 25, 2018: A Notice to Stars Over Washington Readers!

Once again, Google is giving grief to bloggers like yours truly concerning EU cookie notice requirements and the message that should display to readers abroad about data collection which Google says is my responsibility. Although I am non-tech savvy I have dealt with this intrusion in the past but cannot seem to make headway this go-round and there is some sort of deadline this very day, May 25, 2018. Funny how WordPress takes care of such requirements all on its own yet Google is apparently incapable of it or is cussedly unwilling to do the same for its customers.

Also concerning EU requirements: I have recently dealt with what Google AdSense says are two instances of page-level 'violations' which turned out to be a shady inclusion on SO'W of a 'feedspot' page and/or ad, totally unsolicited by yours truly. So far that shenanigans seems to be vanquished but I have no idea when it might return to again bedevil me unbidden. A number of such violations are said to result in deletion of this and any of my other blogs most of which have been written and published since 2005. Yes, it feels as if Google is discouraging my continuance here and if so, or if I must give up, I will attempt to continue Stars Over Washington and Jude Cowell Astrology on another platform so if you subscribe or are a frequent reader, please note that if SO'W 'disappears' in the coming months, be advised that my Political Astrology writings may turn up elsewhere, probably on WordPress, and will hopefully retain the title, Stars Over Washington or some form of it.

Trump Cancels NK Summit - DOJ Meets w Nunes

May 24, 2018 in the news: Donald Trump has sent a letter to Kim Jong Un cancelling their planned Singapore 'Summit' in June. A previous post containing founding data and chart/s for Singapore is available but has little details on the iffy meeting between two Uranians who tend to behave predictably in their unpredictability.

Meanwhile, today at 12:00 noon edt a meeting is scheduled between the DOJ and Devin Nunes, Trey Gowdy, and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly--and Mr. Trump, one assumes. This will be a divulging of information on the Mueller investigation which is completely out of character for the US Department of Justice but is said to be for the placating of Donald Trump. A second meeting is scheduled for 2:00 pm today between the same as above, plus, members of the 'Gang of Eight' which necessarily includes Democrats. The first meeting is a Republican-Trump strategy session to 'get their stories straight' for spinning purposes, the second is meant to look bipartisan.

Pundits are saying that such a meeting during an ongoing investigation is unprecedented and so it is. However, today's astrology shows an interesting cosmic condition--that the DOJ has just entered its first-ever Uranus Return period, a three-fer that first perfected on May 3, 2018. As you know, the sign of Uranus reveals behavior in a horoscope and the DOJ's natal Uranus of 1934, at a critical 29th degree of Aries, aspects its natal Sun, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, and Pluto. Little is understood of the effects of a Uranus Return which occurs for human beings around age 84--perhaps a time of leaving the past behind? So this means that the DOJ's current Uranus Return/s are exact transits to the natal planets as seen in the DOJ natal chart so let's consider them here in light of today's meetings at the White House intended to 'clue in' Mr. Trump and his associates (to facilitate better spinning and tweeting).

Basically, Uranus, the disruptive planet of separation and chaos, on May 3, 2018 (and again on November 24, 2018, and finally on February 18, 2019) opposes three of the DOJ's natal planets. All the oppositions contain vibes of separation of some kind but the one that peaked my interest is Uranus opposite n Sun (1Sco43) for it suggests the DOJ behaving in an uncharacteristic manner. Yet this behavior will not necessarily satisfy or soothe any bruised egos that are involved in current circumstances, and of course, outcomes are unpredictable, as always with Uranus. Changes or a turning toward a new direction are also indicated but the permanence of a new direction is in question for it may only be temporary. Someone's will power and leadership are challenged which may point toward the DOJ's Rod Rosenstein but, as we know, may also denote Donald Trump or any of the actors in today's political theater performances (in relation to the DOJ).

DOJ's natal Venus (25Lib37) opposed by transit Uranus hints at reactions, attitudes, and pespectives that are unpredictable and/or unorthodox, unstable events and relationships, separation, and a potential for reversals in legal affairs.

DOJ's natal Jupiter (3Sco10) opposed by transit Uranus suggests issues of misplaced confidence, unreliable sources of information, and challengers who cannot be controlled or manipulated. Perhaps that will change as of today.

DOJ's natal Mars (4Vir29) trined by transit Uranus denotes unexpected or unorthodox activities and male relationships being favored. It suggests a period when actions may not have the desired outcomes but do not automatically lead to negative results, just different ones from what was expected or intended.

On the generational level, the DOJ's natal Pluto (26Can04--opposite US natal Pluto so this transit of Uranus affects both with a double Pluto vibe) squared by transit Uranus hints at the usual Uranus-Pluto unrest, protests, and social strife. The status quo and our established principles are disrupted and shifts are occurring within political power and social institutions (such as the the Executive Branch, Congress, and the DOJ). Military activities and control of resources are emphasized along with societal issues such as civil rights, women's rights, and the expansion vs restriction of governmental power.

Also, the DOJ's natal Neptune (13Vir39) sesqui-squared by transit Uranus shows 'squares within squares', a complex condition of obstacles within blockages. This suggests a period when a battle is being fought but it's difficult if not impossible to draw battle lines because the identity of the 'real enemy' is elusive and is being purposefully concealed or muddied. Terms and conditions for surrender are seldom clear during this transit and primary targets are institutions that deal with minority rights. Prevailing circumstances disrupt our sense of reality (tr Neptune through Pisces can do that all by itself making this complex condition worse!), and some form of idealism is prevalent though shaded--or there's a mission not fully revealed..

The Powell Memo: a Genesis of Corporatism in Control

Astro-Notes: The Powell Memo and Corporations as 'People' Like Donald Trump

The significance of the Powell Memo (or, Manifesto) cannot be overemphasized when pondering the ongoing assault on American institutions by corporate interests, transnational and domestic. It is not the first or only assault but one of many by wealthy elitists of the anti-Constitutional kind, those opposed to democracy and who plunder resources and wage wars across the globe and at home for their own profit.

Naturally, the term 'manifesto' must conjure for us the Communist Manifesto and the anti-worker doctrine of Marxism which has been shown to have been invented in order to destroy the Middle Class--invented though plagiarized by Karl Marx who was financed by the wealthy class of his day including his wife's family, the von Westphalens of the Prussian aristocracy.

So with no precise hour known, I'm finally getting around to publishing a 'noon' horoscope for The Powell Memo:

As you see, the Memorandum occurred within a 9 New South Saros Series with its Solar Eclipse ('PE') @27Leo15 which was activated on August 21, 2017 by The Great American Eclipse whose path of visibility split our nation in half. You'll remember that this is the Total eclipse that Donald Trump looked at 6 times without safety glasses--and its degree conjoined his natal Ascendant (29Leo) and by extension, his rising Mars (26Leo). Themes of the 1971 Solar Eclipse are messily penned upon the above chart along with the themes of the August 2017 Eclipse in the 1 North series, the 'Mother of All Eclipses' of Nostradamus fame (August 11, 1999 @18Leo).

So far, the Trump regime has fulfilled 1 North's themes extremely well: 'unexpected events' and 'information is distorted and possibly false'. Plus, we should note that the August 1999 eclipse will be activated by another Solar Eclipse this very year on August 11, 2018 @18Leo41 in the 2 New North series, the eclipse I have unhappily labeled The Tower Eclipse for its 'collapsing tower' and 'rebuilding' themes (Brady). This eclipse happens to be the Prenatal Eclipse of the 2018 Midterms.

Now as you know, history is often said to rhyme (if not repeat precisely) and it seems to me that the study of eclipses, solar and lunar, is one way of revealing 'time links' between years and the historical events that were influenced by the applicable eclipse themes. This does not discount whether or not a particular eclipse is visible in a certain location where an event takes place yet the significance and symbolism of eclipse degrees are my primary focus along with the themes of the series in which an eclipse falls. Of course, visible eclipses would have stronger influence upon events as would Total eclipses but degrees are sensitized by eclipses, stars, and other factors and remain so through centuries.

As for the Powell Memo horoscope itself, its lack of timing prevents a full consideration here although there are a few chart factors I wish to point out:

First, that Neptune, planet of fraud, corruption, propaganda, disguises, get-rich-quick-schemes (with nearby Jupiter), the (corporate-controlled) media and the masses, is @1Sag, a degree with a Sabian Symbol (penned on) well known for its link to the US military--in America's case, to the military industrial complex that's bleeding America's National Treasury dry at the expense of We The People.

Then @11Leo01 there's Cupido conjunct Midheaven (at noon) with keywords: Corporations, Organizations, and The Family which includes crime families, Chambers of Commerce, political parties, and religious cults.

Pluto-Chiron at Work

Another factor is the midpoint of Pluto-Chiron, the Plutocracy pair of oppression, exploitation, primal violence, racism, and other -isms such as Capitalism, Communism, Marxism, Bolshevikism, Fascism, Socialism, and Zionism, which conjoins US natal Jupiter (5Cancer56) with its enlightening Sabian Symbol for '6 Cancer': "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests." In the Powell Memo chart this would refer to Mr. Powell and his Chamber of Commerce co-conspirators and others of the corporate persuasion--and to America's Founding (plutocratic) Fathers of 1776 and our modern-day financial fanatics who exploit others at every opportunity and have pulled a major scam with their ridiculous assertion that "corporations are people, too" (codified by Citizens United 2010). In the same vein, SCOTUS Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote an opinion about two days ago siding with employers and corporations over US workers, so there, America. Scr*w you, say corporate elitists.

And for those of us who use a late afternoon founding chart for America (July 4, 1776), its Ascendant in the range of 11-13Sag was the spot in the Zodiac where Pluto and Chiron last met in conjunction December 1999--and helped usher in the dawning of the New Millennium under the auspices of the 'Mother of All Eclipses', the 1 North @18Leo which will soon be triggered in August 2018.

And finally, let's close by noting that in 1971 the asteroid of ethics and strategy, Pallas @27Tau27 opposes 1971 Jupiter in corporate Scorpio while conjoining 1971 MIDAS (26:49) -- and greedy MIDAS happily sits upon the natal Midheaven (The Goal) of gold-lover Donald Trump (age 25 in 1971). And that's Trump's very visible MC where the nasty, malevolent star of violence, rage, and viciousness is found: Algol of Medusa's Head fame.

A Significant December 2018 Lunation in Sagittarius

May 21, 2018: Just posted to my Jude's Threshold blog on WordPress is a DC Horoscope of the Sag New Moon of December 7, 2018 which, as New Moons can do, may act much as a disruptive solar eclipse--a 'wild card' of the Universe. Noted in the post are brief comments on US SP Mars Rx and the ongoing leaky, scandal-prone transit of watery, eroding Neptune through secretive Pisces for which I chose as illustration my botanical drawing of a False Senator wrasse.

Significant is that US natal Saturn (exalted in Libra) rises in Washington DC along with the natal Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio of Donald Trump (in his 2nd house of Money) with the trio's problematic tendencies toward speculation, fraud, get-rich-quick schemes, and fantasy world whims--the world where his feverish reptile brain lives. Plus, the New Moon @15Sag07 manifests in wide opposition to the guiding planet of Mr. Trump, his 10th house Uranus, shocking planet of chaos and disruption. This may increase the 'wild card' affect of the New Moon and stimulate the whimsical, quixotic notions of his nibs.

Not mentioned in the above-linked post is the culmination-fulfillment stage of the Dec 7th New Moon at the Full Moon of December 22, 2018 @00Can49. This conjoins one of the four Cardinal World Points of manifestation where global events tend to occur, and as you see, the Full Moon perfects very soon after Winter Solstice 2018 which we discussed here yesterday with its Sun Capricorn-Moon Gemini blend of Earth-Air energies.
