Can Astrology Show the GOP's "Turning Point"?

Hey Liz! Some Say the GOP's "Turning Point" Occurred Way Back in 2016!

May 6, 2021: As you've heard or read by now Rep. Liz Cheney has written an op-ed concerning the current condition of the Republican Party, an internal fight. See Facing an ouster from House leadership, Cheney says GOP is at 'turning point' and must choose between the more traditional version of conservatism that she favors (torture, endless war, austerity?), and the Big Lie cult of personality of Donald Trump, intended to keep him in office way beyond his sell-by date which expired at noon on Inauguration Day 2021.

But so far from what I've heard, Rep. Cheney isn't counting events that occurred when Trump announced his candidacy in June 2015 at the New Moon (25Gemini) and, more critically, the change came (in public) with the 2016 Russian-spy-infused RNC that nominated the faithless manchild and 'Putin pal' I tend to call, agent orange.

Now naturally, the term "turning point" conjures images of a YOD pattern in the minds of most if not all astrologers so I began to wonder if any of the Republican Party horoscopes would evolve to show a YOD pattern when progressed to a current date such as this very day.

Now in my files there are multiple founding horoscopes for the Republican Party and I chose the following two sets of data to search within for progressed YODs, if any, that contain turning point;crossroads;crisis;special task implications. Of course, YODs are also timing devices which can bring opportunity for karmic progress or advancement but since this experiment concerns politicians, let's keep our hopes tethered to the reality of their personal limitations.

The two Republican Party founding charts used:

March 20, 1854 6:30 pm LMT Ripon WI and July 6, 1854 5:00 pm LMT Ripon, WI.

Dual Horoscopes, below = today's Secondary Progressions ('SP'): upper right chart is based on, or issues from, the party's March 20th horoscope, and lower left, the SP chart is based on the party's July 6th horoscope. Note that other founding horoscopes, if you have them, may also contain 'turning point" info for those who care to progress them.

Upper right chart with 3Pis11 rising shows an SP YOD between the SP Venus-Saturn sextile pointing to SP Chiron @16Cap00 Rx and SP Jupiter @17Cap51 (in SP 11th house of Groups and Associations). Even the party's SP Pallas (strategy; wisdom) joins in the pattern while the Venus-Saturn sextile denotes those who exploit others, who prefer the tried and true (like Trump? he's been tried - to be false!), and who find it impossible to allow for mid-course changes of direction. So apparently Trump must be included in that unfortunate assessment. Then if we read the YOD as a midpoint picture with Jupiter at apex, we find potentials for 'separations' and/or 'illegitimate relationships' (R. Ebertin).

As you see, in both SP charts, wounded/wounding Chiron is in governmental Capricorn indicating a need to prevail ("own the libs"?) and to win in spite of all adversity. With Chiron in Capricorn, older mentors are often prevalent, even via historical figures, along with an irrational desire to conquer Time itself (ex: ruling a nation forever?). (R. Nolle).

Revealingly, SP Sun @11Vir14 conjuncts the party's SP Cupido ('The Family'; The Syndicate; Corporatism) and SP Toro, one of the power asteroids which can also include nuclear power. SP Moon (12th house of Politics and Karma) squares SP Pluto (2nd house and highlighted in lavender), a temporary influence indicating intense emotions, seeking support or withdrawing, financial security being challenged, competition, and/or holding on to old grudges (Pottenger-Dobyns).

Now even though the forceful, brutal SP Mars-Pluto opposition is fading, the midpoint of the duo conjuncts SP Moon so potentials for 'ambition; audacity and daring; a determined or resolute woman' (Liz? her replacement?); and/or 'injury caused to a woman' (Ebertin) are of influence. Plus, I have no accurately timed horoscope for Liz Cheney but her natal Moon remained in Sagittarius for the entire 24 hours so the party's March 20th SP Saturn @15Gem20 (conjunct SP IC) could possibly be opposing her natal Moon, a depressive, oppressive influence on her from party leadership (Saturn = authority figures) if so. Also note that the party's rising SP Neptune @14Pis38 is within orb of an opposition to Cheney's natal Pluto @16Vir45, suggesting an erosion of her power and control within the party particularly in relation to ideals (Neptune).

With the party's July 6th horoscope progressed to today, we do find a YOD but only if we use the SP Uranus-Neptune sextile as its base pointing toward US natal Saturn (14Lib48). Read as a midpoint picture, we have potentials for 'change of direction' (which can suggest a turning point) and/or a condition in which there's a clash between 'ambitions vs projects' (Ebertin). Plus, the Uranus-Neptune 'new world order' pair in sextile hints at those who stand apart from the mainstream of society so perhaps we can agree that radical political reactionaries in the Trump faction of the GOP pride themselves on doing just that. It's anti-societal all the way.

Perhaps I should add a double SP midpoint picture for it's quite revealing of the party's current atmosphere: SP Mars-Pluto = SP Neptune with potentials for: 'cunning and deceit; secretly causing harm or damage to others; implacability'. Also Mars-Pluto conjunct MC: 'ambition; facing overwhelming force without power; overcoming sudden difficulties' (Ebertin).

So to close, let's mention the July 6th SP BOWL shape of planets (having a mission or the advocacy of a cause) led by SP Mercury @11Sag45 (which might be conjunct Liz Cheney's natal Moon, who knows?) and denotes serious conflicts, possible separations, and supports their 'desire to be in control' and with 'a focus on limitations' (Pottenger-Dobyns).

Limitations? Sounds like a case of Republican sore loser belly-achin' to me.

And if you've ever read Stars Over Washington before this moment you may be aware that globalism and a 'new global order' (economic, financial, social, and 'moral') have been constant refrains of the dissenting kind by yours truly, a fan of sovereign nation-states and big D-little d democracy rather than totalitarianism and its 'strong-armed paternalism' now expressing through the NWO pair 1993 Uranus-Neptune and their midpoint @18Cap, hit off-and-on in our day by transit Pluto ('18Cap' = POLITICAL POWER: "A British Destroyer"; Jones gives '18Cap' the negative expression of "smug or strong-armed paternalism"). Often I have cited here and elsewhere from Noel Tyl's Solar Arcs book: "Uranus-Neptune = Pluto: the big picture must be followed, very little option to do otherwise." It's an offer compromised politicians can't refuse!

Plus, tragically we must add to this creepy picture and the underworld criminality it suggests one of the potentials of the harsh energies of Pluto in Capricorn: the dictator (R. Ebertin).

Of course, the upcoming Saturn-Pluto Conjunction of January 12, 2020 @23Capricorn (see link, below) gives us cold if any comfort with its extremely conservative, reactionary determination against all progressive movements, improvements, and legislation intended to lift the yoke from our Collective neck. And curiously enough, Donald Trump's natal Vertex of 'fated encounters' falls upon 23Capricorn. Will these circumstances reveal the prophecy of America "speaking like a dragon"? Sadly I suspect so--although many folks domestically and across the globe say our nation has been speaking with draconian overtones for decades. Remember that Bin Laden labeled America as "the great satan"? Well, I tend to think of that little ditty as satan calling out satan, a time-worn trick of his meant to fool and distract the unwary. Especially since the 'destructive force' is all around--and inside us if we let it in!

A New Cycle in the Saga of America's Libran Scales of Justice?

On Monday October 8, 2018 at 11:47 pm edt, a New Moon perfects at 15Lib48 conjunct US natal Saturn (14:48) and denoting the beginning of a new cycle of activity in the realms of Saturn. That the Libra New Moon conjoining our national Saturn relates currently to the highly unpopular Kavanaugh seating on the Bench of the Supreme Court as a new term for the Justices begins seems obvious but in this complex universe of ours, this can hardly be the only result.

Upon reflection, my suspicion from within our two-tiered justice system, is that one result has to do with legal planet Saturn's realms of lawmaking and enforcing, responsibility, realism, authenticity, and accountability. For more details see David Sorota's article America's New Aristocracy Lives in an Accountability-free Zone in which Brett Kavanaugh is mentioned along with several other topics that lesson-bringer and taskmaster Saturn cannot possibly be pleased with. Naturally, Donald Trump's imperative that it be Kavanaugh on the Bench is noted because Brett is in favor of expanding presidential power (without accountability thus placing POTUS above the law) and will work to destroy states' rights to hold the powerful accountable for their crimes through state prosecution. Other far right SCOTUS decisions will be forthcoming, their degrading effects unknown but suspected at this time.

Yes, America's exalted-in-Libra natal Saturn has been under fire for decades (if not centuries!) and it became notably obvious in recent memory during the presidency of Bill Clinton when, in 1996, US natal Saturn turned retrograde by progression and has for years, been in early Scorpio rather than the legal eagle planet's more upstanding, comfortable position in Libra so that America's tradition of (Saturnian) reliability began to fade into Mars-Pluto-ruled Scorpio's brooding darkness and obstinacy.

And note that today's position of transit Saturn conjoins US Progressed ('SP') Moon (The People) which, as I type, falls at 2Cap31, a depressive, oppressive influence that a majority of the populace feels via the Kavanaugh confirmation and the expected negative results from Bart's future SCOTUS decisions which are expected to sway the court toward far right conservatism.

And since the horoscope of the New Moon in Libra links to the Pentagon's natal chart (plus, the New Moon chart's angles conjoin its natal angles--with US SP Jupiter Rx @15Cancer conjunct the Pentagon's natal ASC), below is our death star's natal chart with the Libra New Moon chart surrounding it. Notes are penned on if you care to enlarge the image where you'll see transit Saturn @3Cap24 in Pentagon's natal 6th house of Military, Police, and Civil Service inconjunct natal Pluto @3Leo30 (which conjoins its natal Chiron = plutocracy). Transit Saturn also opposes the Pentagon's natal Mars, the warrior planet (see notes on chart, lower right). Transit Pluto @18Cap46 is angular (conjunct Descendant) and, as you see, has entered the Pentagon's natal 7th house of Open Enemies and Partnerships from where Pluto squares the Pentagon's natal 4th house Moon @20Lib32, a period of obstacles placed upon desires. This Pluto also inconjuncts natal Jupiter (@20Gem59 in 12th house of Politics, Karma, and Self-Undoing) indicating opportunism is underway--that someone is 'victimizing' the Pentagon to satisfy their own personal objectives. Now who in Washington would do such a thing?

Well, 20Gemini points directly toward Trump's natal Sun-NN-Uranus trio and also toward America's natal Mars in Gemini which brings in our national Mars-Neptune square of misguided motivations and wasted energy which happen to be the themes of the Pentagon's Prenatal Solar Eclipse (@25Pis45--conjunct its Midheaven, the Goal Point!) in the 16 South Saros Series (see note on the chart). A 16 South solar eclipse last manifested on April 29, 2014 @9Taurus conjunct the Pentagon's natal Sun (8Tau38) and the next 16S won't occur until May 9, 2032 @19Taurus--conjunct the Pentagon's natal Mercury (19Tau07 in 11th house). Misdirection and waste indeed.

Who Is Noel Francisco? August 21, 1969

September 25, 2018: If or when Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is ousted or steps down, Solicitor General Noel Francisco is likely candidate to step in and begin overseeing the Mueller investigation into Trump and Russia. Word is, Francisco has an 'expansive view of presidential power', which may be one of his best qualities as far as un-indicted conspirator Mr. Trump is concerned.

With his birth hour unknown, here's a 'noon' horoscope for Noel Francisco born August 21, 1969 in Syracuse, New York:

As you see, his law-abiding Saturn in Taurus is 'conservative' and at Station Retrograde which strengthens and emphasizes his Saturn. Transit Venus in Scorpio is currently opposing his Saturn which marks a sobering time of 'business only'. Once transit Saturn eventually opposes his natal Venus (21Can14), partnerships and alliances will be under tremendous strain. Natal Saturn leads a Locomotive pattern (a ruthless drive toward success; a high-powered executive--Tierney) and is parallel royal star Regulus. See upper right for the stars in paran at rising with his planets, among them Sirius, The Scorcher.

But today his natal Uranus 2Lib10 is spotlighted by the Sun (2Lib34 as I type) which points to a decision of whether to be part of a certain group or not; either way, Mr. Francisco receives special attention under this transit. Meanwhile, natal Jupiter (6Lib10) is called on by speedy messenger Mercury (6Lib10--00:00 as I type) which denotes expanding ideas and plans, and engaging in political activities.

Natal Venus in Cancer is oriental (last to rise before his Sun) denoting that he tends to work with things of value. Noel Francisco's Prenatal Eclipse Saros Series is the 7 North and his PE is marked in orange on the chart with 7N eclipse themes listed, lower right.

And of course, there's the massive pile-up of Mercury, Pluto, Uranus, and Jupiter across two signs (Virgo and Libra) for such are the births of late August 1969. A Mercury-Pluto conjunction suggests his dealings with secret and/or dangerous information, possibly with spying implications. It also hints of deep powers of thought, like a detective seeing through people and events into their deeper meanings and motives. Unfortunately, a desire for revenge often comes along with a Mercury-Pluto conjunction so Mr. Francisco may remind us at some point of the vengeful, retaliating Donald Trump--or he may simply take part in Trump's vendettas against his 'enemies', real and imagined.

The rest of the dissociate stellium is formed by a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction denoting a man with an insatiable curiosity for rooting out the truth and a respect for knowledge especially that of intellectual giants of the past--and yet he himself is a 'futurist'. He's also an opportunist who never lets a chance go by without taking advantage of it and he gets quite a few chances with this conjunction of 'lucky breaks' and 'breakthroughs'. An interest, if not a talent, in Politics is also indicated although he'd do best to use his talents elsewhere such as in Education. Plus, natal Mercury 22Vir41 is a writing-teaching-dedicated-work sort of placement, a book author perhaps, although his Mercury conjoins US natal Neptune 22Vir25. With this transit-to-natal consideration (1969 vs 1776/USA) a faint whiff of occultism may be noticed.

So Who Is Noel Francisco?

He's all that and more and his double Fire personality blend of Sun Leo-Moon Sag reveals him to be a passionate, adventurous hero-worshiper, an independent, restless, romantic visionary who is proud, loyal, and generous, yet can be imperious and impatient. A tendency to jump to conclusions has had to be re-directed or re-purposed and hopefully he has done this for his best results. He does lean toward dismissing the ideas of others out of hand and too brusquely which wounds far more than he intended. But why intend harm to others at all?

A bit of a 'gambling gypsy', Mr. Francisco is a restless explorer (physically or mentally) who detests dishonesty (and he can put up with fantasist Trump who considers them all employees?) and may have a turbulent domestic life. Now admittedly I don't have his accurate birth time so house cusps and Angles of his natal chart must be left out of this babble, but even so, his Sun-Moon blend paints a picture of a man who can exhaust those around him with his volatile double Fire approach that comes from a deep self-centeredness. And with his Moon in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius (Luna can be as early as 2Sag+ or as late as 16Sag+ from 12 am--11:59 pm), then he shares the Sun Leo-Moon Sag personality blend with the likes of Sir Alexander Fleming, Ray Bradbury, 'Lawrence of Arabia', and Herman Melville who informs us of,

"Two antagonistic influences...one to mount direct to heaven, the other to drive yawingly to some horizontal goal."

Authoritarianism - Wrong Only When the Other Party Is in Power?

Authoritarianism - It's Wrong Only When The Other Party Is In Power?

The US Government has never been more authoritarian and divisive than during the last 14 months, which is the amount of time the Trump Administration has resided in the White House. Some notable incidents from Trump and other GOP during these 14 months:

Trump firing James Comey, then attempting to fire Robert Mueller in an attempt to obstruct justice

Trump saying that NFL players who protest should be fired on the spot

Trump putting blame on counter protesters during the Charlottesville demonstrations

GOP lawmakers proposing legislation making it legal to run down protesters in the midst of the Keystone XL/Dakota Access Pipeline protests

Laura Ingraham saying that LeBron James should "shut up and dribble" after he criticized the Trump Administration

GOP Representative Clay Higgins saying that all Muslims should die

Courtland Sykes, a Republican running for congress, saying that he wants to come home to a cooked dinner every night, in a sexist remark

Jeff Sessions removing anti discrimination protections for transgender citizens, and Trump banning them from the military

Trump not approving release of the Democratic memo, indirectly incriminating himself and obstructing justice even further (if he was truly innocent, he would have no problem with it getting released!)

And there are many, many more that would take all day to name. The point is that the same people who were using their first amendment right during the Obama Administration, speaking out against Obamacare and Benghazi, are shockingly silent, during a time in which the reputation of their entire party is in complete jeopardy as a result of these divisive and immature actions, as well as the Mueller Investigation.

Or is it shocking?

Right now, we are in the midst of a paradigm shift, known as the transition to the Aquarian Age. In astrology, Aquarius is ruled by the planet Uranus, and it is known as one of the most progressive signs of the zodiac, if not THE most progressive. In an age ruled by this sign, many of the ideals embraced by the Republican party are quite frankly, incompatible with these energies. Racism, sexism, homophobia, and overall inequality will simply not be tolerated anymore, and deep down, they know this. So, many of these Republicans will simply lower their moral standards in order to gain power, when in reality, their party is in shambles. We are technically still in the Piscean Age, so the illusions are still in play.

It's In Their Astrology

In many examples on this blog and on my Pinterest account, it is proven that left and right wing politics are shown in people's astrology charts. Economic leftists have Venus, the 2nd house, and their rulers in aspect to Neptune, the South Node, the sign of Pisces, and the 12th house (those on the cultural right who have this pattern can also support tariffs, major military spending, and even fascism, as it's the dissolution, Neptune, of wealth from the poor to the rich), and cultural/social leftists have Moon, the 4th house and their rulers in aspect to Neptune, the South Node, the sign of Pisces, and the 12th house. Economic rightists have Venus, the 2nd house, and their rulers in aspect to the North Node, the 2nd house, and the sign of Taurus, and cultural/social rightists have the Moon, 4th house, and their rulers in aspect to the North Node, the 4th house, and the sign of Cancer.

Overall leftists have liberal impulses in both categories, while overall rightists have conservative impulses in one or both categories, and people with an equal number of indicators in a category for each side tend to lean to the right. Those with a mixed (partisan) or aggressive (authoritarian) pattern in regards to aspects with the asteroid Pallas are the most prone to the philosophy of "the end justifies the means". Aggressive Pallas indicators are Pallas and its ruler in aspect to Pluto and the South Node and in hard aspect to Jupiter, and defensive (Libertarian) Pallas indicators are Pallas and its ruler in aspect to the Sun, Mercury, and North Node. It is no coincidence that the vast majority of our elected officials have either mixed Pallas or aggressive Pallas, including everybody in the Trump Administration that I have cast a chart for.

We Need To Know

If we only knew that our political views, among other things, are basically ingrained in our astrology charts, the country, as well as the entire world, would be a lot less divided because we'd know that our political viewpoints are like our personalities, in that there is no right and wrong, but just "is". If everybody had the exact same personality or exact same political views, things would get real boring, real fast, so all our different Sun signs, Moon signs, rising signs, Mercury, Venus, and Mars signs, Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune generations, etc., as well as our different innate political viewpoints are likely in God's plan to keep things interesting for all of us rather than divide us. Our political views being astrological complexes makes a whole lot of sense when you realize that you typically can't bring someone to the other side, no matter how well thought out your argument is. And while people's parents and place they grew up in may be a factor, whose to say that these people weren't fated to be in that situation before incarnating? And if we knew the true reason for people's political views, as well as innate ethical nature, we could prevent something like the Trump/Russia fiasco from happening ever again, and find out if the politicians running for office actually have the viewpoints they're expressing, or are faking it in order to get elected. I do have pictures of all the rising sign appearances saved on my Pinterest.

To put it briefly, the calling out of one party's flaws, but refusing to do the same for the other party, is a major reason why the US is so divided, and is a major reason why our freedoms are disappearing more and more over time. Imagine how much progress we can make when we're willing to hold elected officials from our own parties accountable, as well as the other party? It's not like the laws they pass will only negatively effect those on the "other side". In other words, authoritarianism is never okay, even when it's your side in power.

Even though there haven't been many posts lately, I have still been active on Pinterest, mainly with the "astrological liberals" and "astrological conservatives" boards, as well as the "sports astrology" and "cool imagery" boards, the latter of which is to save higher vibration imagery in order to help with the current shift. Mueller Indictments: Why The GOP Should Impeach Donald Trump

Throughout the last month, the Robert Mueller investigation has picked up some serious steam, first with the Indictments of Trump's campaign manager Paul Manafort and Manafort's business associate Rick Gates, and then on December 1st with the indictment of Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn. This will inevitably result in more Indictments, which will likely be Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and son Donald Trump Jr. With the evidence of Trump doing the bidding of Vladimir Putin and Russia interfering in the 2016 elections growing more and more each month, Trump is already losing, or has already lost, the independent voters, and with the approval rating of Congress sitting at a dismal 10%, they need to do something to show that they care more about the credibility, as well as the security, of the country more than towing the party line or most importantly, their own wealth. What is that?

Impeach Donald Trump.

What's keeping them from doing this? Not only has Trump likely committed treason, he's also shown signs of racism by not condemning white supremacists (while condemning protesters) while pushing for a deficit-ballooning Border Wall, making minorities scared as a result, as well as being a threat to the 1st amendment, which is the right to freedom of speech, by suggesting that journalists who criticize him lose their licenses and that protesting NFL players be fired on the spot. By impeaching Donald Trump, the GOP would make a big effort to restore its image, and they would remove themselves of an overly authoritarian President. If Trump gets impeached, Mike Pence, a Republican, would become President, and as my astrological analysis shows, he is more of a true conservative than Trump, who represents the 1% that is getting wealthier every year more than anything. So unless certain high ranking Republicans (like Pence himself and even Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell, the leaders of the House and Senate respectively) are in this scandal themselves, there is no valid reason whatsoever not to impeach Donald Trump, especially with the midterm elections coming next year - unless they will be hacked as well.
