Now who would've guessed that the minute gravitational pull of Earth's Moon is affecting the Large Hadron Collider?

Could it be that there are more things under heaven and earth than are dreamed of in science labs? Yet you and I know that amazing cosmic affects are and have been dreamed of in Astrology studies and practices for centuries! The best way to trust Astrology is to use it though it is not a belief system but a language and a tool for understanding self and the wider world depending on how it's applied.

This Moon-affects-Hadron story reminds me of years ago when I first heard it announced by scientists that the human body contains the same elements as the earth's crust--quelle surpise! Well, I thought, the tale of God creating Adam from the dust of the earth is hereby verified by those who prefer scientific proof over faith in God's Word--at least for those with ears to hear. Okay, perhaps scientists came a little late to the party but better late than you-know-what...

According to census data, nearly 1 in 2 Americans have now fallen into poverty or can be classified as the 'working poor' which is an outcome that I believe has been long-planned by generations of intermarried global elites (who direct Washington politicians--wonder what goodies and powerful positions they've promised them after the Utopian-minded Weishauptians have collapsed the world economy--if their Great Plan for global governance eventually works to its ultimate and engineered conclusion? Want to bet the elites' political operatives and agents in America will be discarded like last year's smartphone if in the end it should suit some shady international banking house's top cats?)

But of course that's just silly, isn't it, and only a 'theory', the sort of theory that no well-known economist in this country would dare add to his public discourse, admit to, or include within the pages of his best selling books. Yet what he whispers in private behind closed doors may be quite another matter...

Wisconsin Senate Democrats flip the balance!

This entry is actually an Update to last night's post on Gov. Scott Walker avoiding recall in Wisconsin yesterday. Yes, Walker somehow managed (infusion of big money from out-of-state; robo-calls sent out in Wisconsin yesterday saying that if you signed the recall petition, you don't have to vote!) to stay in office.

However, Wisconsin Democrats have flipped the balance in the state senate and and may now be able to stop the right-wing agenda of Walker and his corporate backers, the Koch Brothers.

Barring bribes, blackmail, and/or threats to their families, we'll see if Wisconsin's senate Dems have what it takes to resist the neocons' plan for America as they continue test driving it in Wisconsin. Sad to say but this is one example of a contagion brought to the collective by Neptune transiting Pisces.

Well, if today's Venus Transit is descriptive of recall efforts in Wisconsin, it's apparent that the Sun (male principle) trumped tiny little feminine Venus. Or, as is their habit, Republicans cheated (success at any cost!) for earlier today I blogged that there would be a large turnout at the polls (voting Mercury out-of-bounds) and that irregularities would be suspected. We'll see if a recount or other disagreements result from Walker's odd 'victory'.

Now the strong-arming, paternalistic neocons who now infest our nation will be emboldened in their quest to ruin other state governments and collapse the whole shebang we call America. Blah!

Horoscope of Venus Transit 2012: Equal Pay for Women, a Recall Vote, and a Queen

In May I blogged aloud whether Greece would leave the EU in tandem with Venus transiting the Sun, a rare cosmic event occurring today or tomorrow (June 5 and 6, 2012) depending on where you are located on Earth. NPR has good coverage of the event, text or audio.

Astrologically the Transit (or Occultation as Venus journeys between Earth and Sun) may be seen as a conjunction by degree....On the level of Politics and Business, it may be interesting to consider the implications of the Sun/Venus combination. Is it synchronicitous that the US Senate is set to vote this afternoon on equal pay for women (Venus) with Republicans carrying their usual flag for Business (men), while Democrats say they're championing equal pay for Women?

Yes, Venus' material values and money are on top of many menus this week with feminine Venus transiting the masculine Sun.

Now concerning the Senate'e procedural vote today, Sun = business (usually men, certainly ego and here paternalism with Venus signifying not only women but evaluations and material earnings (in the US women earn 77 cents for each dollar a man earns so we see who is more valued in American society--even though many women are the only breadwinners for their families, a circumstance seldom of their own choosing.)

Now in my blogging quest to provide you with the best astrological information I can muster, I shall quote from Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets by Michael Munkasey even though Mr. Munkasey isn't a fan of being precisely quoted and considers his analyses inspirational. Well, so do I. Not much to say tonight except that I just noticed that the natal North Node (future direction, path, destiny, encounters) of the Central Intelligence Agency is in process of being 'hit' or conjoined by the May 20, 2012 Solar Eclipse @ 00Gem21.

This eclipse falls into the 14 South Saros Series and its degree conjuncts the *'mystical yet judgmental' Fixed Star Alcyone (something to cry about; exile; unlucky--A. Louis) in the Pleiades constellation of The Seven Weeping Sisters.

14S themes include 'success after long periods of hard work; an obsessive idea is finally accepted; new methodologies; a long-awaited breakthrough' (B. Brady), and it involves Mercury-Pluto content which is perfect for spies (Pluto) with eyes (Mercury) on our every move. Also, 'obsessive' = Pluto, 'idea' = Mercury, as you know, and this nosy flavor comes from the initial eclipse in the 14S Series which occurred on August 29, 984 (OS) with Sun and Moon @ 10Vir59. Yes, that 984!

May 31 2012: John Edwards found Not Guilty

May 31, 2012: John Edwards has been found not guilty on one charge, with the judge declaring a mistrial on the other 5 counts, says NPR.

No, Mr. Edwards' behavior wasn't exemplary in the least but I'm glad he was found not guilty and hope the US Justice Department finds miscreants who are more worthy of prosecution to spend our tax dollars on. (Hint: the titans on Wall Street might be a fertile place to look.)

Bilderberg meeting Chantilly VA May 31 - June 3 2012

The following video is about one month old but it relates to the policy-setting Bilderberg meeting of May 31 - June 3, 2012 being held this year in Chantilly, Virginia. We discussed previously how during Campaign 2008 Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton 'disappeared' from the campaign trail and were confirmed to be attendees of the meeting in June 2008, also in Chantilly, VA.

This was the meeting at which Hillary Clinton was given the news that it would be Barack Obama moving into the White House (though she'd waited so long to occupy the Oval Office in her own right.) I imagine one reason for his selection was Mr. Obama's natural talent for swaying the masses with his rhetoric, don't you? Must be his natal Mercury in dramatic Leo! Plus, the conjunction between easily deceived Neptune in the US natal horoscope (if you use our national Sibly chart, July 4, 1776 5:10 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA--Neptune 22Vir25), planet of the masses, and President Obama's natal Mars at the same degree, our 'rock star' connection, still manages to keep many Americans from seeing his actions and motivations clearly through obfuscating Neptune's veil.

And it pains me to say it because I love America, the America my ancestors fought and sacrificed for, but whether January 21, 2013 brings a presidential oath by neocon puppet Mitt Romney or a second term for President Obama--both funded by basically the same entities, sceptors, and crowns--we get a continuance of the globalist agenda now beggaring our coffers to establish world domination through war. We the People must now stand up for ourselves and for our country and so I must agree with Alex Jones that one way to do this is to: Occupy Bilderberg!

So please don't even think of staying home from the polls on November 6, 2012 because it gives these arrogant jokers the idea that we're apathetic and don't care what happens to our country--or to our children. Their children will be just fine, thanks.

Thoughts about Memorial Day May 28, 2012

At NPR, Scott Simon's Remembering a Hero on Memorial Day gives a gentle and touching tribute to Vietnam soldier Leslie Sabo, who gave his all for his country 42 years ago--my generation. Click for the text, plus, the audio of Mr. Simon's report will be online around 12:00 pm et today and it's worth a listen if you missed it this morning.

The History and Astrology of Memorial Day is interesting coming as it did after the 'Civil' War when General John Logan, National Commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, offically proclaimed it on May 5, 1868. The first observance was held on May 30, 1868, and of course, you recognize the Sabian Symbol for '1Sag':

"A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire"...REMINISCENCE:

Positive expression: accomplishment through the cultivation of and preservation of enduring ties with others;

Negative/(Unconsicous/Shadow Side--jc): superficial idleness and unhealthy veneration for the past.

Taking a look at planetary positions at noon on May 5, 1868, we see two significant conjunctions relating to our topic, the first at the Oxen Degree: Sun 15Tau26 conjunct Pluto 15:34, planet of death and regeneration. Astrological Sun signifies leaders and leadership but also the recognition and honor that Memorial Day brings. As a team, Sun/Pluto = rulers, those who strive for or crave power (such as empire-builders and conquerors), fighters, martyrs, and separation by force majeure such as war and violence. (Ebertin.)

The second conjunction has a wider orb: warrior planet Mars, strong in his own sign of Aries (18:12, with '19Ari' the Exaltation of the Sun degree) and compassionate if deceptive Neptune 15Ari54 joins Mars and brings to mind America's continually problematic Mars/Neptune square from 1776 indicating such things as deceptive actions, misguided and/or misdirected energy, and the fog (Neptune) of war (Mars.) Yet the planetary duo's potential for inspired action is what Leslie Sabo and other heros exhibit on behalf of their fellow soldiers and for their country even though they are 'lied into war' for dubious (money making) reasons by old white men, aka, war profiteers.

(Please understand that I cast no blame upon our valiant soldiers, but that's how I see the wars that Americans have been duped into fighting through the decades for all were begun by ruses and both or all sides are always financially backed by the same banking interests--simultaneously. I'm of the If Only No Soldiers Showed Up to Fight generation, remember--put the old global bankers in a ring and let them duke it out!)

Plus, Ebertin gives other implications for the Mars/Neptune combo such as "suffering harm or exploitation," "a desire to harm others," and "narrow-mindedness," all of which are activated during times of war.

Well, I've blogged myself into quite a grump when all I intended to do in this post was to remember and heartily thank all our veterans for their service this Memorial Day 2012. I think it was seeing those Sun/Pluto and Mars/Neptune conjunctions in the 1868 chart that riled me up. And after so many--too many--years of war, few will click to read this post anyway, I suspect. But if you did, please pardon my dissenting nature as a native Georgian and a Child of the Revolution! After all, a national Memorial Day wasn't agreed upon by the Southern states until after World War I for we steel magnolias can be something of a feisty bunch way down yonder in the South!

Of Robber Barons, Romney, and Campaign 2012

May 10, 2012 was the 126th anniversary of the Corporations Are People sleight-of-hand which has forced its tricky thumb upon the scales of justice ever since. Click for a few astro-notes concerning the day, May 10, 1886, and a brief explanation of how things went askew against all common sense.

Interesting that the illustrious Bryan made his remarks on the true nature of corporations in 1912, 26 years after the Big Ruse was purposefully put in place through the enthusiastic collusion of railroad titans of the day, aka, Robber Barons, and for good reason.

The Ohio Constitutional Convention of 1912 was all about progressives wanting to rid Ohio's government of corruption and to quite an extent they succeeded though women's right to vote and equality for all races were progressions too far. These days, we have regressives calling themselves 'Republicans' wanting to roll back those rights which is doubly backwards since the first instance--the whackadoodle notion that "corporations are people, my friend" is what should be rolled back instead.

In case you haven't signed yet, here's a link to Senator Bernie Sanders' effort to Overturn Citizens United, the SCOTUS decision of January 2010 which brazenly gives the Corporate Leviathan even more "legal" power to devour We the People for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But unlike in 1886, no court clerk's 'error' was needed to shaft us on the sly.

This chart is also known as the Generation of Materialism natal chart (Ed Meece), and here's how I complained about the Pluto/Chiron oppressors in February 2008. Of late, JP Morgan Chase's CEO Jamie Dimon has proven his lack of societal merit, I'd say--he kind of made himself into a poster child for the ravages of corporate inbreeding when it's allowed to flourish under its own hubris way past when corporate charters should expire as originally intended.

New Moon April 28, 1881 10:24:47 am UT London, England; Hour Mercury; final dispositor: Venus; chart-ruler Sun applies to a trine with Uranus in 2nd house of Money, a conjunction with deceptive Neptune (5A32 = 1886!), and a conjunction with evaluating Venus, also in her sign of monied Taurus; US natal Saturn in Libra is at the Foundation of the horoscope--and making it all 'legal'.

The New Moon occurred around a Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, the societal planets with Jupiter represnting expansion, growth, and investment, and Saturn its opposite: contraction, restriction, and control. In conjunction and maturely directed, their energies can bring much wordly success.

And naturally, I don't have to mention the abundance of Taurean energy here since greed, possessiveness, and intolerance are The Bull's shadow traits (just ask The Bull on Wall Street.) Even Pluto and Chiron, the Plutocracy duo, are near one another in Taurus and in our time, met in Great Conjunction on December 30, 1999 at '12Sag' = "A Flag Turned Into an Eagle That Crows" (MEJ) conjunct US natal Ascendant. And after the attacks of 9/11/01, the American eagle crowed and can't seem to stop.
