A Cosmic Check-Up for Modern Humanity: Our Appointment? March 8, 2021

March 6, 2021: Below is the DC Horoscope of the Modern Humanity Eclipse of 1892 which perfected on *April 26th at 4:46:34 pm est @7Tau05 in the 2 Old North Saros Series. Around the eclipse chart in center are the transits for March 8, 2021 set for 12:40:15 pm est Washington DC. I chose this hour for our "appointment" because it's when the July 4, 1776 Sun @13Can19 rises on March 8th, plus, US natal Sun sits atop the eclipse chart, as you see, in the catbird seat and visible to all. This sign and degree seems significant to me because of the 1892 Eclipse Midheaven/Immum Coeli axis, aka, the MC-IC Security/Homeland axis which emcompasses Career and Domestic Scene. Naurally, parental and child issues are also involved across the 4/10 polarity which in Western Astrology is ruled by the Moon (Cancer 4th house) and Saturn (Capricorn 10th house), the lunar mommy and solar daddy significators with family concerns close at hand. Of course, the Moon-Saturn duo can tend toward depression or illness, but also to ambition, strategy and direction:

Now I've tried not to scribble all over the bi-wheel with basic chart factors as I tend to do, however, penned upon the image are the more prominent planetary contacts of Monday March 8, 2021 and beyond since some transits are ongoing (perfecting multiple times, some already in progress) while some transits have yet to perfect but are included because they're within orb and will gain strength as they become exact.

An example is 2021 Mars to 1892 Neptune and Pluto @7Gem34/37 in the financial and corporate 8th house. As you know, America is under an ongoing attack (Mars) by criminal elements or the criminal underworld (Neptune-Pluto: racketeers and mobsters) who've infiltrated federal and state governments, some of whom work to sabotage our country into complete collapse and destroy democracy as a system of government - and with helpers in the political class. (You recognized the Tr*mp Mob's 'take-over' objective on January 6, 2021, I'm certain.) There exist social meddlers who want We The People in the streets with pitchcforks in hand! But personally I prefer legislative and legal powers to beat them and their lousy policies back.

Meanwhile, the Neptune-Pluto duo also represents the psychic roots of man (A. Oken) which makes the karmic pair, here in the 8th house of the Occult, prominent on an inner and/or spiritual level, and sometimes suggesting supernatural involvement.

A News Note: Today around noon or so, the US Senate passed a somehat reduced Covid Relief Bill which then goes back to the House to be re-passed before President Biden can sign it into law (because changes were made from the House version). So if its weighty abundance doesn't bring down our financial house entirely, the Bill will provide some financial relief for struggling Americans, their families, for Covid distribution efforts, and for state governments who can't just up and print money of their own like the federal government can do!

Now a quick look at 1892 chart-ruler Venus (ASC in Libra) and 'her' applying aspects which hint at how things will proceed. There are only two and one isn't considered Ptolemaic (major) in the traditional sense - an inconjunct, or quincunx (150 degrees), between Venus and Mars. Right away we know that adjustments (inconjunct) are needed between the sexes (Venus-Mars) which affect relationships (Aries-Libra issues, but also suggests war and diplomacy concerns). Money is involved as many folks work hard for too little profit and are exploited or, we exploit others in business and/or in love and war. Approval is sought from others to bolster self-worth (and increase paychecks?) so resentment is felt when we're unappreciated and America's obscene income inequality threatens all progress.

But prior to the inconjunct, Venus @22Gem31 squares karmic Saturn Rx @24Vir00 from 9th house to 12th. This is a cosmic picture of socializing issues of an anti-societal kind so that isolation is actually preferred by many. It also implies worry or anxiety over finances and/or legal matters yet worrying never brings positive outcomes, does it? Other potentials of the square include withheld affections or the limiting of resources such as the tiresome R vs D battles in Congress.

Now as you see, 1892 Saturn is angular upon the March 8, 2021 IC (as timed by the eclipse) suggesting our ongoing difficulties on the Domestic Scene, increased responsibilities at home, plus, the potential loss of homes through eviction or otherwise. Hopefully, this is a passing or temporary condition for us especially now that the Covid Relief Bill (Saturn!) seems to be heading for a presidential signing: yayy! Evictions forestalled for a few months longer while the economy hopefully improves. And obviously, Saturn in 12th house is a cosmic picture of folks working behind the scenes, or, from home in isolation. Perhaps this has not been such a bad deal for those who can manage to work from home since serious old Saturn joys in the 12th house!

Yet a fly in the House may be an inconjunction between Mercury, the planet of bills, signings, and negotiations, and restrictive Saturn which suggests authority figures who deny their responsibilities and tend to live in the past (the 'good ole days'). Do you know anyone like this? Perhaps someone 'serving' We The People in Congress? Or at least, getting paid to serve us? Or how about those who occupy certain governors' offices? Well, more adjustments to the Covid Relief Bill may be on the congressional menu. But this aspect reveals that sometimes it's better to say, No, and stop acting like patsies!

April 13, 2021

Now another word about Saturn: on April 13, 2021, Mars will square 1892 Saturn so that efforts to control may be stymied and aggressive actions blocked. Activities (Mars) are met with resistance (Saturn) and solutions must be sought which hints that good outcomes are possible (now that adults are in charge: Saturn). Thing is, at least two other transits occur on April 13, 2021: Jupiter sextiles 1892 Mercury (first of three) which suggests favorable business opportunities, and a positive period for writing, publishing, teaching, and commerce in general. All the Mercurial things which hopefully will benefit children.

Then in the more esoteric or spiritual realms on April 13th, 2021 Chiron (The Key!) conjuncts 1892 Jupiter in Aries (#1 of 3, in the 6th house of Service and Health), a transit already within orb. This transit identifies a period when it's 'time to forget and forgive' so that old wounds (Chiron) can heal. Those with the idea that we must 'move on' are correct for this is exactly what it is time for. And yet days in court for criminals are warranted as well so perhaps around the time of the third conjunction (February 12, 2022), justice will be served and satisfied, 'clean-ups on aisle 13' will be successfully completed, and society can move into the future with lighter hearts, better braced for upcoming challenges.

Now before I list a few midpoint pictures, we should consider an overarching situation: that 2021 Uranus has been opposing 1892 Uranus from Taurus to Scorpio, its sign of exaltation. March 6, 2021 was the last of three exact oppositions, and as you know, this is the "Mid-Life Crisis" transit for human beings, and some astrologers might say it can't apply to society as a whole. But what is Modern Humanity but a massive collective of human beings? I say it does apply to current conditions, and the restlessness involved, plus, its out-of-character implications in our era seem spot-on to me, if not to you. This disruptive influence is, in a word, generational, and I'd say that Uranian styles of uniqueness and individualism are signs of the times.

Now you know that the sign of Uranus describes behavioral tendencies so we've 'traded' intense Scorpio tendencies for Taurean ones (materialistic, possessive, intolerant of 'the other') and suggests potentials for risk-taking, speculation, finding unusual sources of funding, funny financing, sudden economic changes, and/or putting all the eggs into one basket. When in Taurus, the sign of its detriment, erratic Uranus likes to advance reforms in business and the economy so with the financial stalemates and underhanded schemes on Capitol Hill, we've certainly noticed such tendencies in recent years. Of course, this transit has occurred before, as have others, so a look back would be interesting but it's beyond the scope of this post. After all, I don't have all night and neither do you!

3 Midpoint Pictures: March-April 2021 to April 26, 1892; any, all, or none may apply

1. 2021 Uranus conjunct 1892 Solar Eclipse: acting independently; rebellion; sudden conflicts; shared upsets; lack of adaptability; quick developments; dramatic changes and reforms. As you know, eclipses are Uranian 'wild cards of the Universe', disrupting earthly events as mundane Uranus can do. Actions may occur early, on time, late, or never. Plus, quirky Uranus often wears a cap of the Utopian anarchist, political zealot, radical reactionary and reformer. This is a major transit with both Uranus and the Eclipse suggesting that karmic progress can be made if the energies are handled correctly! Yes, it's full of difficulties for society - like catching a bolt of lightening in a bottle! Yet 2021 Uranus is activating the eclipse themes of 2 Old North which are: 'unfortunate news concerning relationships; issues of separation or the endings of unions' (secession?); 'things look worse at first but brighten with quite positive results; taking action concerning personal relationships' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). Humanity has recently experienced a 2 Old North Eclipse on July 12, 2018 @21Cancer. (Actually, you may remember that this is the Prenatal Eclipse Series of the former guy, what's-his-name.)

2. 1892 Neptune-Pluto = 2021 Mars: taking action based on faith; application of force taken sensitively (ex: 'surgical strikes'?); displays of powerful emotions; a deep urge to change or transform, eliminate, purify (by Covid?), or unite; the desire to share power or territory; hostility; the use of violence to accomplish aims; being used as a tool for other people's interests; lack of stamina; convincing or being convinced.

And 3. 2021 Moon-Pluto = 1892 Mars: using force to achieve changes in corrupt practices; quarrels; rage; possible injuries; secrets or scandals revealed (ex: a possible love child).

Now let's close with a fourth April 13th transit involving 1892 Saturn but this one begins in 2022: undermining Neptune in Pisces will oppose 1892 Saturn, first on April 13, 2022, with the third opposition on February 13, 2023. This is a destabilizing and stressful influence (already within orb) when authority figures are threatened by deceitful people (already, I know!), multiple bankruptcies may occur, and important limitations can disappear. Apparently, our disappointment with corrupt authority figures will continue to erode society if we allow it.

The challenge for humanity is to figure out how to see things from a different perspective which most folks seem to already be doing as they reflect upon what's truly important and valuable in their lives.

March 1, 2021: When progressing the natal chart of Donald Trump to the moment and location that he completed his CPAC 2021 speech last evening (6:20 pm est, Orlando, Florida), this is the Secondary Progressed ('SP') Horoscope that turned up with his SP Sun @4Vir24 conjunct two SP midpoints: Saturn-Neptune and Mars-MC; please see the center of the chart for a few potentials of the two midpoint pictures that are created this year due to the day-for-a-year progression of Individual One's natal Sun in Gemini, now in fussy Virgo:

Also penned in the center is Sun-Uranus = MC (The Goal) denoting his 'far-reaching plans' (a 2024 presidential run, he asserts), and his self-willed desire to reform the Republican Party even more into his own gilded image, flip flops and all.

This Secondary Progressed Chart issues from Donald Trump's natal chart of June 14, 1946 10:54 am edt Queens, NY; ASC 29Leo55. Note that both SP Sun and SP Moon in Mercury-ruled Virgo (sign of The Critic) are in his natal 1st house but SP Moon @22Vir42 is now symbolically entering his natal 2nd house of Values, Earning Ability, and Possessions (natal 2nd cusp 22Vir57). The only SP aspect in the chart is a Mars-Pluto sextile which improves his physical stamina, spotlights strong emotions over money and relationships (same as the current themes of the 4 South Solar Eclipse @23Sag08 on December 14, 2020 conjunct his natal Moon-SN), but also shows that it's time he balances personal power with shared power (!). Plus, Trump's will power is emphasized by this progressed sextile as is his ability to both initiate and complete projects (Pottenger and Dobyns).

And yes, SP Jupiter rising is protective yet as you see, SP Nemesis @16Leo51 is sandwiched between his SP Mercury and SP Pluto, the planetary pair known for cruelty of speech. Plus, the SP South Node that he neurotically depends upon has both SP Cupido (The Family; The Syndicate: religion; crime) and SP Tisiphone (retaliation) upon it.

DC Horoscope: House passes Covid Relief Bill

February 27, 2021: No blogging time today, dear reader, but I want to post the Horoscope of 'House passes Covid Relief Bill' for future reference, if needed. MSNBC reports that the bill passed "around 2:00 am" est so the chart is set for 2:00 am est Capitol Building with financial/political/societal planet Jupiter in humanitarian Aquarius as chart-ruler. And as you see, voting Mercury, planet of legislation and moving direct since February 20th, is snugged between societal planets Jupiter and Saturn which indicates 'effective planning and communication'.

Now it's on to the Senate!

US Solar Return 2021: YODs plus Karmic Progress

America July 2021 to July 2022: Career, Reputation, Illness, Home Care

February 25, 2021: Based on a 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA horoscope, on July 4, 2021, the Sun returns to its position on July 4, 1776 @13Can19. Obviously, various founding horoscopes will give different results but this data is what I'm using for this particular Solar Return 2021 post. And as you see, using the MC (Midheaven = Career, Public Reputation, and/or Goal Point) allows two YOD patterns (dotted lines) to emerge for the year suggesting potentials for crises (which we already know we're in), turning points (or crossroads), and/or karmic opportunities for making evolutionary progress (or not, if solar energies are mishandled).

We should also consider that YODS can denote health issues but for the purposes of this post, let's allow 'home care' and 'nurturing' concerns to represent the balance of such potentials as the pandemic and vaccinations proceed.

Note: For background influences of the titanic conflicts between Saturn and Uranus this year, check out Mary Plumb's TMA article on the earlier Saturn and Uranus squares which includes links to other astrologers' posts. The last exact square perfects on December 23, 2021, and as you know, these squares issue from the 45-year Saturn-Uranus Cycle which began with their three conjunctions in late Sagittarius all through 1988 (along with Saturn Conjunct bubbly Neptune 3 times in 1989; 1988/89: major, sharp financial shifts). And now, with the squares, everyone is feeling their old order vs new order vibes while 'overcoming perilous conditions' is required and Democrats try to push through their Covid Relief Bill against Republican obstructionism. Do you see the GOP represented by restrictive Saturn blocking the progress proposed by Uranus via the Democrats? Then we agree.

So for karmic progress on political, societal, and economic levels, it seems time for society to 'get over' the debilitating 'trickle down' economic policies of Ronald Reagan and his greedy ilk, so that America can advance by actually solving the societal problems of We the People. And I think the US Solar Return 2021 Horoscope with its YODs and 'karmic opportunities for progress' agrees.

Because when a YOD points toward the Sun (leadership) as apex planet, the pressure is on to alter the way power and authority are utilized so that abuse of power is avoided. Ego-deflation may occur due to the quincunxes to the Sun (ego) yet if solar energies are properly channeled after years of preparation, one's full attention and inner strength will inform actions with the YOD/s acting as timing devices for the year described in the US Solar Return 2021 Horoscope. Additionally, with powerful Pluto leading a Locomotive shape in the SR 2021 chart, a certain measure of ruthless determination will be necessary as our Ship of State chugs toward success. After all, the 'former guy' plans to continue his retaliation against Democrats, and, I would suggest, against the American people - see US natal Moon rising in the horoscope still (as always) opposed by Tr*mp's natal Mars in royal Leo!

(Note: in the US Powell Horoscope of July 1, 1776, there are no YOD patterns in the US SR 2021 chart that I can find.)

Now one erratic factor in the chart that may or may not be worrying is that SR 2021 Uranus @13Tau56 conjuncts Inauguration Ascendant 2021 which can indicate disruption, sudden reforms, upsets, unexpected events, and/or a change of leadership with major new start potential which may echo the YOD's 'turning point' implication. However, it's possible that Uranus-to-ASC simply suggests coping ability.

And considering the difficult issues facing my fellow Americans, plus, the fact that We The People need a major break from disruption and upsets (although reforms are needed), I'll be hoping for coping ability supported by the insightful, visionary solutions inspired by the 5 North Solar Eclipse in versatile Gemini, North Node conjunct IC and Aldebaran ('success through integrity'), thinking/planning Mercury the Messenger nearby in its own sign and conjunct starry Capella, Phact, and Bellatrix, plus, Cupido, asteroid of Corporatism, The Syndicate, and The Family.

DC Horoscope: Summer Solstice 2021 w Jupiter Rising

Summer 2021: Karma and Tension Yet Jupiterian Optimism

February 25, 2021: Below you see the DC Horoscope of Summer Solstice 2021 set for the moment on June 20th 11:32:23 pm edt that the Sun reaches 00Cancer00:00 in our hemisphere. As you see, the 2021 Summer Solstice Moon @9Sco26 falls into the 9th house when the chart is set for Washington DC, Sun is in the 5th house, and together the two luminaries create a Double Water blend of energies. Rising in 1st house is stationing Jupiter @2Pis11 which turned retrograde 12 hours 27 minutes ago, followed by Neptune:

Chart-ruler and co-ruler, Saturn and Uranus, retain their disagreeable square relationship, here from 12th house to 3rd house but separating, suggests a continuation in Summer 2021 of conflicts between the status quo, or The Establishment, vs th radical, disruptive forces of zealotry and anarchy. Plus, in futuristc Aquarius, karmic Saturn in Politics tends toward progressive policies which angers radical reactionaries even more in their quest for control. All in all, tremendous tension and frustration simmer and erupt when stirred off and on by bad faith actors as we've seen over and over again with the January 6th Mob Attack a crescendo - and a 'dry-run' for more.

Meanwhile, whatever financial aid and improvements the Biden administration intends to put in place to help the beleagured American people, and whatever level of optimism exists within the Sun-Jupiter trine, funding of various kinds may recede, and opportunities may be withdrawn since financier-corporatist-politician-guru planet Jupiter retrogrades in June. For as you know, periods of Jupiter Rx are always significant to political proceedings as well as financial matters and conditions. Plus, religious concerns and military issues will also be affected (Jupiter The Hierophant, and The General).

However, with Stationing Jupiter, altruistic in its traditional sign of compassionate Pisces, we may hope the Great Benefic's favors will extend for a while, then pick up once Jupiter turns Direct in mid-October 2021 @22AQ19. It seems significant that the only applying aspect to the Solstice 2021 Sun - and the closest - is the trine with Jupiter! Perhaps the protective function of Jupiter plus, the protective Fire Grand Trine of spontaneity and confidence will defend many lives and lift conditions above the bad-loser vibes of the 'previous guy' and his hate-filled comrades. For violent implications, check the chart, lower left, for the T-Squares and their midpoint potentials, plus, lower right, is a Thor's Hammer (or, Fist of God) between the Moon-Mars square with its anger issues and lack of empathy, and deceptive Neptune in Pisces.

That both Jupiter and Neptune in 1st house are in the intercepted sign of Pisces identifies some of the karmic conditions we face across the victim-savior axis of Virgo-Pisces (exs: income inequality; minimum wage increase), plus, large events involving water and other liquids are indicated which suggests natural disasters and may suggest issues that concern the Green New Deal (Jupiter, the 'Jolly Green Giant'?). Additionally, Jupiter-Neptune's tendencies toward fraud, inflation, and other speculative financial schemes will be on the rise and must be dealt with. And tiresomely, the Jupiter-Neptune duo also indicates political conflicts and possibly the wrong diagnosis (Ebertin).

Meanwhile, for our domestic scene oncerns, we may wish to add the North-Node-conjunct-IC factor to our protective, good fortune list of benefits! And there in 4th house is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of Summer Solstice 2021 with its 5 North themes of 'visions, hunches, prophetic dreams, and inspired insights' (Brady) in Mercury-ruled Gemini, the sign of good news!

Now I realize that it's quite foolhardy to publish this post and horoscope so far in advance of the Summer 2021 season (for much will transpire between now and then) so the rest of the chart's karmic conditions and other planetary factors and implications I'll leave for a future post. This may give you, dear reader, time to prepare for Summer Solstice 2021 and perhaps in the mean time may spur an interest in studying the horoscope for yourself! Horoscope: CPAC 2021 Orlando, Trump to speak

February 24, 2021: Last I heard, Donald Trump is to speak at this year's CPAC in Orlando, Florida on Sunday February 28, 2021. The following horoscope is purely speculative since I have no hour for his address (of "Appeals and Grievances") so the chart is set for 8:00 pm EST. Please enlarge the image if you wish to read my study notes since I don't care to spend further time on the blighter nor on an event for which I have no accurate time for setting up the horoscope; as you see, Trump natals (June 14, 1946 10:54 am edt Jamaica, NY) are penned around the chart, highlighted in pink; a few chart details will follow:

Update: Have just located the time Trump is scheduled to speak on Sunday - at 3:40 pm, but I don't care enough to change the horoscope! However, at 3:40 pm ASC 5Leo48 (so Trump's natal Pluto rises), MC at a critical 29th degree (29Ari34), and Moon remains in Libra @00:50 in 3rd house of Communications); chart-ruler Sun will conjunct Neptune a few days later so expect a lot of propaganda and disinformation spawned by this event. At 8:00 pm, chart-ruler Venus applies once - a sextile to quirky Uranus (see lower left for details in blue); Moon @Lib28 rises (publicity; the public mood: sociable and dependent on others when in Libra) and rules MC (Career; Public Standing = popular). Luna is handle of a Sling shape of the planets and therefore is the point of application. Yet opposing the rising Moon is the destructive Mars-Saturn midpoint (so active in his natal chart) suggesting that his feelings about losing something will be on display as will other grievances (ex: his wounded sense of 'justice'), along with appeals for support (a 2024 run?), seductive plans for change or reform of the party, vanity, a sense of martyrdom and betrayal, and other factors visible in the horoscope. Jupiter the Broadcaster, Politician, Corporatist, Guru, Military General, and Financier stands out as well since the planet of expansion (5th house) is apex of a Thor's Hammer pattern.

Please note that as yet I've read no reports on what topics he might pontificate upon at CPAC 2021 and am merely attempting to translate for you some of the factors I see in this speculatively timed horoscope. (At 8:00 pm social events may still be ongoing. Or not!) You may of course, see many more interesting details and naturally, with his first natal planet to rise being Neptune (and knowing Neptune's ability to diguise), I wish you success finding them. As for the cosmic weather of February 28, 2021, we find a Sun Pisces-Moon Libra (Water-Air) blend of misty, ethereal energies. Rationalization will occur and the ideals to which he holds other people will be impractical. As always, Trump will express beliefs in what is most pleasant and convenient to himself. The Harveys give this blend two 'Images for Integration' that seem to apply: "A theatrical-musical artist entertains his entourage of friends and fans...A team of writers creates a masterpiece."

We'll see whether Trump follows their script or indulges himself by blabbing his usual stream of consciousness.

A Cosmic Time Link between 1775 and 2027: Will the Old System Fail?

Dear Reader: although I realize that for many people this particular solar connection from the Revolutionary era to our day may seem unfortunate and dangerous, facing reality is always the best course! For dark monsters cannot be vanquished unless and until we turn and face them squarely in the stark, realistic light of day.

February 22, 2021: On SO'W in 2012 the Horoscope of the American Revolution was published timed by the First Shot April 19, 1775 5:00 am LMT Lexington, Massachusetts (via contemporary accounts). Today let's consider a few astro-notes concerning the 11 South Prenatal Solar Eclipse Saros Series ('PE') which the Revolutionary War for Independence from monarchy fell into and look ahead to the next manifestation of an 11 South solar eclipse which, of course, retains the same difficult eclipse themes as in 1775. Now as you know, all eclipses are 'cosmic blinks' from Above and are considered 'wild cards of the Universe', disruptive in that Uranian way and often inconveniently uncovering secrets, scandals, and triggering changes of direction.

Now the first Solar Eclipse of 1775, the year of our Revolution, perfected on March 1, 1775 @11Pis11 and significantly, was a Total eclipse--the strongest, most revealing kind. Yet as you know, eclipses of all types may influence historical events and this eclipse certainly did for its energies imprinted upon the entire year (being the first) and on the entire fight for freedom from the British monarchy. In fact, America as a nation is rather stuck with its themes running in the background of our lives which makes it highly susceptible to triggering by transit and progression particularly when an 11 South eclipse cycles around again as in 2027.

For comparison with past historical events, 11 South eclipses also occurred in the years 1901, 1919, 1937, 1955, 1973, 1991, and 2009 @29Can26, a critical 29th degree with its rounded-up Sabian Symbol: "A Daughter of the American Revolution"!

The 11 South series contains difficult themes and can herald trying events and turbulent proceedings, as you may agree. 11S themes are: 'sudden reforms are needed; old ideas or methods fail and new systems are required to deal with events brought by the eclipse; consequently, new ways of handling issues must be thought of; any blocks could be violently or tragically removed' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology) #ad.

Well, I'd say that 11 South themes were definitely 'running in the background of societal events and influencing social conditions in Spring 1775 and may do no less for us when another 11 South eclipse repeats on August 2, 2027 @9Leo55 - conjunct the natal 12th house Pluto of Mr. Trump who, if he's still kickin' in 2027, will be 81 yo by then (a right ole codger!). The August 2027 eclipse perfects months after the February 20, 2026 Great Conjunction of Saturn and Neptune conjunct the Aries Point of global manifestation (00:45) so signifcant events may be expected, if not here, then there.

The Saturn-Neptune Cycle of Approximately 36 Years' Duration

As I type in 2021, we remain mired within the Saturn-Neptune cycle that began with their three conjunctions of 1989: 1. March 3rd @11Cap55; 2. June 24th @11Cap14; 3. November 13th @10Cap22. Therefore, 3 exact conjunctions divided into 36 years suggests 12-year periods which puts us now within the third period (10Cap22), the horoscope for which can yield important factors for those who care to set up the November 13, 1989 chart. Of course, the degrees' (10-11-12Capricorn) Sabian Symbols are informative as are the opposite degrees/symbols, aka, Illumination Points of unconscious material which, in this case, would be from the Collective Unconscious (10-11-12Cancer - conjunct the US Sun of 1776).

But for today's post, perhaps the Political and Business potentials of the Saturn-Neptune pair should be included here from Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets #ad by Michael Munkasey in the form of the Hegelian Dialectic (causing problems and difficult conditions so you can 'solve' them the way you intended to all along; a longterm plan, aka, the 'big picture', for a 'new global order' is suspected: 1776 -- -?-):

Yours truly would add: social safety net programs, workers' rights, Socialism, Communism, Marxism, Capitalism, and other societal, political, and Collective -isms which may or may not be operative by, or in, the year 2027. Yet who knows? Maybe some secret cabal of social meddlers will have invented a new 'system' and label by then with which to categorize populations and use the typical divide and conquer tactic to, the elite class hopes, control the masses.

Republic of Texas in 2021: independence at what cost?

February 19, 2021: Before annexation by the United States on February 19, 1846, the Republic of Texas was proclaimed independent from the Spanish Empire as part of Mexico on March 2, 1836 (N. Campion, p. 376) and independence was established by victory at the Battle of San Jacinto on April 21, 1836. The battle's date was selected as the anniversary that opened a Texas Commission in London in 1986 so this is the date of the Republic of Texas Horoscope, below. February 2021

Since the dire conditions in Texas are directly due to the winter storm ravaging the region, much blame for the people's suffering and loss falls upon the state's privatized energy sources (independent of the rest of the country as they so proudly are and echoing the sentiments of the 1836 Republic), current transits are penned round the Horoscope of the Republic of Texas. And perhaps it's curious to note that at noon on March 2, 1836 (independence proclaimed), a YOD of crisis had formed between Moon in Virgo sextile Jupiter in Cancer pointing toward watery Neptune in Aquarius; the trio as midpoint picture: bad social conditions (Ebertin). Yet as you see in the chart, below, by April 21st, the Moon @5Can49 (conjunct Mirzam: to have one's say) was nearing Jupiter (The General, exalted in Cancer) with both still inconjunct Neptune and thus echoing the YOD's portents. Naturally, any battle creates 'bad social conditions' before things can hopefully be improved. Otherwise, what was the fighting for?

So as you see, planets penned around the 1836 chart are for the monster winter storm system that hit the state on Sunday February 7, 2021 (highlighted in green). As of today's date, power is being restored even as a boil water advisory remains in place for millions across the region. And if there's one major transit that can describe current conditions in Texas and the surrounding region, it's 2021 Saturn @6AQ00 conjunct the Republic of Texas' 1836 Neptune, the 'grim face of reality' transit which also contains potentials for disillusionment and the misinterpretation of responsibilities. Hint: power outages from the storm have not been caused by "windmills" or by the as-yet unimplemented Green New Deal, but by the state's privatized energy grid kept separate from the rest of the country and therefore unable to ask for needed assistance in times of crisis as a regular state could do. Texans may not agree with me on this and of course that's their right! (Note that in 1836, independent Uranus, the rebel, rises with fixed star Alpheratz = 'wanting freedom and movement'!)

Now there's a whole lot going on in the 1836 Horoscope as you see by my many study notes penned upon the chart. Significantly, the Sun-Saturn opposition (strength, endurance; obstacles); Saturn in Scorpio adds 'skill and obstinacy') is essential as the Sun's closest applying aspect and forms a dynamic T-Square with nebulous Neptune (crisis; depressing circumstances via Saturn-MC = Neptune). Plus, note the importance of Saturn Rx @1Sco59 for, besides the T-Square, the karmic planet of restriction acts as the tail of a high-flying KITE pattern of success (highlighted in turquoise). In addition (!), Saturn is also the handle of a BUCKET shape denoting the old devil as the point of application for all the planetary energies (actors) similar to the lead planet in a Locomotive shape (ruthlessly determined on success):

As you see, warrior planet Mars is strong in its own sign of Aries, Pluto in Aries (craving power; extraordinary energy) conjuncts gold-loving MIDA$, and the Aries-Libra axis of war and diplomacy is intercepted across the 3/9 house polarity which to me suggests the karmic conditions leading up to the Battle of San Jacinto, the involvement of the Spanish Empire and Mexico (9th house), and its outcome of an independent Republic. As notated in 4th house, the Battle occurred within the difficult 18 South Saros Series @27Sco25 which contains themes of 'high stress level, taxing of strength, physical concerns and/or injury/illness/obsessive worry' (Brady's Predictive Astrology) #ad.

One further factor from 1836 which may be operative today: Pluto-NN = Sun = Saturn suggests flavors of rebellion and imposing one's will on others, plus, the Pluto-NN midpoint = 'common destiny of a large mass of people' (Ebertin).

So with this post, my hope is that the good people of Texas receive relief from all their troubles very soon.

Eclipses, Klans, Prez Bids, Despots, and Empires

February 17, 2021: In my prevous post on the 17 South Summer Solstice Eclipse of 2015, the Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') of Trump's bid for the presidency, you can view the eclipse horoscope. Below, you can see it again along with one of its 17 South 'siblings' which perfected on December 22, 1870 @00Cap30, conjunct one of four Cardinal World Points of Manifestation, and the PE of the passsage of the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871 on April 20th, now being considered for use against Trump and his comrades.

17 South themes are penned on the chart, right side, and a list of individuals, entities, and events that also were born or begun within the 17 South Saros Series is on the left. Considering that the 'hidden' topic of this post is Trump and his Klannish (tribal) sentiments and activities (ex: Trump Mob Attack of January 6, 2021), you'll note that 17 South 'spawned' two related entities - Herr Hitler and the German Empire:

Besides being at a 29th critical or crisis degree (of Pisces, so conjunct the Aries Point), a significant factor that lowered the 'good news' potentials of the 2015 Solar Eclipse into the abyss of despair and harm is its conjunction with fixed star Scheat, a star known for its nasty potentials of: 'extreme misfortune, suicide, murder, drowning, a sentence of death, imprisonment, suffering', and "malevolence of sublime scope" (A. Louis, Horary Plain and Simple) #ad.

And though you may disagree, dear reader, to me Scheat's potentials sound a lot like Trump's first inaugural address where he threatened us with "American carnage."

6 South Solar Eclipse October 2022: A House-Raising

February 14, 2021: Yes, this is one those posts I've wished not to write. Yet here it is on Valentine's Day 2021 for your consideration. (Apologies for the synchronicity but I'll be under the weather due to dental work this next week so Sunday blogging it must be.) The following post is another of my 'forewarned is forearmed' efforts and if this can make it a Valentine Card of my devotion to the common good most ably expressed by American principles, then good. At least we can say that no other country has done it better so far.

Therefore, in consideration of Senate Republicans letting anti-democracy provocateur Trump off-the-hook again yesterday for inciting insurrection, let's look forward at what appears to be a signpost of similar troubles ahead. Not that it's the only one, not that there aren't mitigating cosmic and earthly factors galore, but the following October 2022 Eclipse happens to manifest within the 6 South Saros Series, the same family in which the 'Nazis Rise to Power' Eclipse occurred in August 1932.

Plus, on a related topic, we recently discussed how transit Pluto in Capricorn ("the dictator" - Ebertin) is Creeping Around 'Nazi Rising' Eclipse Planets, a Pluto-to-Saturn affair made weightier and more significant by the recent occurrence of the January 12, 2020 Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto, a harsh, compressive pair when working together for karmic reform - whether we're consciously ready for change or not. That vicious political opportunists seize such a time as this (they use Astrology, too) to make their moves seems obvious to me if not to you, dear reader. Vicious, because 'any means necessary' includes the use of physical violence as on January 6th. And all this while America is within orb of her first-ever Pluto Return - with 3 exact conjunctions to 1776 Pluto all through 2022!

And so below you see a DC Horoscope of the 6 South Solar Eclipse of October 25, 2022 @2Sco00:06, warts and all. Hopefully you can read my study notes scribbled upon it and you'll not miss the fact that power-craving Pluto conjuncts the IC, the Foundation of the Matter and The How? Point of all horoscopes - here at the "A Mountain Pilgrimmage" degree which suggests America's Great Seal sporting an image of the "Pyramid of Power" and its 13 steps, shown above. (In symbolism, Pyramid = Mountain; the US Great Seal is based on the 1776 Illuminati Seal). Legend is, a switch from obverse to reverse of The Great Seal is intended to be a symbol of a great shift in consciousness which is now supported by the Great Conjunction (or Mutation from Earth to Air) of Jupiter and Saturn, the societal planets. Their December 2020 conjunction times 'new social, political, financial, and religious orders' in 20-year segments as part of their expansion vs restriction dynamics.

And what about the unfinished capstone with the All-Seeing Eye? Perhaps a turning will be timed by 2022's US Pluto Return/s. Or not. Either way, there's Pluto conjunct The How? Point ('IC') in the 6 South Eclipse Horoscope and the creepy karmic planet has had a long, arduous climb to the top of US Inauguration horoscopes, too. Also angular is the US Mercury-Pluto opposition of 'all-seeing' surveillance - here, Mercury conjunct 2022 Eclipse MC but at IC in our Inauguration charts with powerful Pluto at Midheaven. Yes, the American people have long been over a surveillance barrel, as you well know, made more draconian after the attacks of 9/11/01. Notice that archetypal Pluto is aka, 'The Dragon' (Draco).

Now at the top of the Eclipse Horoscope my scanner cut off these words: "MC = The Goal" which is the Sabian Symbol for "27Cancer": A Furious Storm Rages Through a Residential Canyon" - on one level a hint of more natural disasters to come which are also suggested by 6 South's initial eclipse (the first-ever in the series) with its Mars-Pluto opposition energies ('might makes right'; 'win at any cost'; 'violent storms') which will always be expressed within or carried by 6 South Solar Eclipses. Note that the 6 South Series began in watery Pisces in 1049, a year of Viking-Irish raids and the crowning of a new Pope. Obviously, political storms and military actions are also indicated.

Then in the 2022 eclipse chart, you see there's a Mars-Pluto inconjunct detailed, bottom right, from Gemini to Pisces (and Mars just past a US Mars Return which reiterates our nation's problematic Mars-Neptune square of misdirected motivations, actions, and 'the fog of war'). So that's two negative aspects between two malefic planets of brutality - karmic Pluto suggesting evolutionary trends and universal forces, and Mars acting on behalf of selfish personal desires for conquest and control:

Now I reluctantly assert that difficult contacts between Mars and Pluto, the opposition and the inconjunct, suggest a continuation of criminality, thievery, and violence already in motion as on January 6, 2021 when the Executive Branch of the US Government attacked the Legislative Branch - along with the validity of the US Constitution - and all but seven senate Republicans said, okee dokee with us, we're complicit with Herr Spanky, our cult leader. However, the fact that the inconjunct of 2022 occurs after the opposition of 1049 hints that corrective actions and adjustments can be successful but only after much effort and determination as we directly face the Mars-Pluto monsters that assail us. This must and will be done!

Also in the horoscope, along with a Mercury-Neptune inconjunct (details, upper right) we note that warrior Mars @25Gem25 in 9th house of Foreign Lands is out-of-bounds ('OOBs') of the Earthly plane - off doing who-knows-what, and needing adjustment (inconjunct) with the evolutionary forces of hidden manipulator Pluto, the saboteur. Plus, we should note that the Symbol for the October 2022 Eclipse ("3Scorpio") is "A House-Raising" which to me seems applicable to the Trump Mob Attack of January 6th, a type of assault which, common sense says, will now be emboldened to continue in the future. After all, Scorpio is the sign of the fight for survival and 'Mars-Pluto' rule and co-rule the sign's brooding intensity and power, with Scorpio's Eagle a symbol of America or is it the Phoenix and/or the Scorpion?. So as we know, with Trump's second acquittal yesterday, the zealous anarchists he acts as figurehead for believe they've won the skirmish and are busy regrouping to fight another day. Plus, this also means that Trumpers believe that the White House is up for grabs! It's a Trumpian fantasy emboldened by yesterday's acquittal! But we know that Scofflaw Trump Has Multiple Lawsuits Yet to Go.

And perhaps there is at least one saving grace for our nation which may appear in the form of Republicans who are not complicit with a fascist overthrow of the US government. Those such as renowned GOP attorney Ted Olson who lays out the case very clearly for those interested in hearing his argument on behalf of the United States of America.

Pluto is Creeping Around 'Nazi Rising' Eclipse planets!

February 12, 2021: A Forewarning: Transit Pluto Can Help Activate Nazism

In one of my previous posts you'll see the 6 South 'Nazis Rise' Solar Eclipse of 1932 set for Berlin, Germany. Meanwhile, the world is again threatened by the rise of such draconian movements of authoritarianism so in view of recent and ongoing events in the US and across the globe, it seems significant that transit Pluto in Capricorn is already within orb of 1932 Saturn (28Cap55 Rx, 10th house in Berlin 1932). Therefore, tr Pluto (@25Cap34 today) has been activating the aspects made by 1932 Saturn in the eclipse chart:

Tr Pluto, planet of transformation and regeneration, recently opposed 1932 Pluto (Capricorn vs Cancer, as we've seen before) and remains within orb of squaring 1932 Uranus, zealous, fanatical, and Utopian when in Aries. Transit Pluto will exactly conjunct 1932 Saturn 3 times: 1. February 9, 2023; 2. July 30, 2023; 3. December 17, 2023 - for the first time ever. So the possible manifestations of this Pluto-to-Saturn transit applies now, through 2023, and into 2024. Of course, in the background of society there are other transits occurring as well, some heavy, some mitigating. But Pluto-Saturn contacts are the weightiest and suggest transformed or altered traditions and structures, current circumstances bringing restriction and limitations, the past affecting the present, ambition that may be 'off the charts' or roguish, and issues of abuse of power which will intenstify and must be dealt with (better sooner than later but tragically, currently sitting Republican senators appear not up to the task of taking an ethical stance and voting against white supremacist Trump which means that his take-over efforts will be emboldened, even strengthened). This adds to the danger suggested by the Nazis Rising Eclipse Horoscope - because history rhymes.

Karmic Planets Saturn, Uranus, Pluto Bring Generational Conflicts

In addition, current Pluto transits to the 1932 planets in the horoscope linked, above, include potentials for assaults from powerful entities upon political and economic structures, no-compromise struggles for control (ex: of the Oval Office), and restrictions upon resources that are necessary for government to function (a longheld Republican dream).

Now if you view the 1932 Eclipse Horoscope, you'll notice a prominent, motivating T-Square of much dynamism between Mars, Saturn, and Uranus (with the Mars-Saturn midpoint as the 'death axis' pointing toward erratic, disruptive Uranus) and this, according to Reinhold Ebertin, denotes 'sudden acts of violence', and Noel Tyl adds, 'breaking loose.'
