Dean Phillips 1969 vs Joe Biden 1942

Unless he's already been persuaded otherwise, Dean Phillips has announced that he'll challenge President Biden for the 2024 Democratic nomination, and has stated that he "loves" Joe Biden. A native of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Rep. Phillips was born January 20, 1969 with Sun @00AQ28 (America's Inaugural Sun position = POTUS), and Moon in either late Aquarius, or as late as 11 Pisces+.

Taking his Oath of Office on January 3, 2019, Phillips is a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus of Republicans and Democrats, a group created by the No Labels entity that runs third party candidates in order to skew elections. Is this his objective in challenging the incumbent Democratic president? Or, it's possible that Dean Phillips is being used as a tool for the interests of others. We should have more details later on.

Ambitious Mars in Scorpio Craves Power

A prominent factor in both Dean Phillips' and President Biden's natal horoscopes is that they share a position of natal Mars, both @12Scorpio+ (13Scorpio = "An Inventor Inventing"). So even though we have no birth hour for Dean Phillips (or I don't, at least), I'm including here his 2023 Mars Return Horoscope (upper right) along with his noon natal chart (lower left).

His Mars position in the Return chart is based upon the noon position of Mars in his natal horoscope so the timing may be off a bit; notice that the Mars Return 2023 of President Biden occurs on October 30, 2023 and both their Return charts have the midpoint picture of Sun-Mercury = Mars (highlighted in yellow and supplying them both with "the will to fight" - R. Ebertin), Plus, both men are having transit Jupiter in Taurus opposing natal Mars which indicates that projects on too grand a scale may fail:

As you see, for Rep. Dean Phillips, both his Mercury and Jupiter are stationary, thus emphasized, having just turned retrograde ('Rx'). In addition, money bags planet Jupiter @6Libra03 is involved in a planetary trio with innovative Uranus, the South Node of inheritance, and powerful Pluto which suggests his family wealth and social status. That a career in Politics has followed makes sense.

Now besides their Mars positions being conjunct (Mr. Biden obviously had a Mars Return in 1969), Dean Phillips' natal Neptune @28Scorpio contacts or blends with Joe Biden's natal Sun and Venus so perhaps it really is "love" (Venus-Neptune). Has Mr. Biden okay'd the 2024 challenge from Dean Phillips?

Below you see a quickly marked-up bi-wheel of the noon horoscope of Mike Johnson (R-LA; b. Jan 30, 1972 Shreveport, LA) who was elected today as Speaker of the House for the 118th Congress. Mr. Johnson is a major MAGA seditionist - an election denier and anti-abortion autocrat - so there's no telling what damage he'll do to our country and people.

As you see, the most prominent planetary transit is Pluto conjunct his natal Mercury, a power aspect denoting an increase of personal power and control, intense ideas, and altered methods:

The Fixed Grand Cross Eclipse of the 3rd Millennium

Manifesting in Sun-ruled Leo, sign of the lion, the 1 North Solar Eclipse of August 11, 1999 is sometimes referred to as the Nostradamus Eclipse because through it, the seer pointed humanity toward future difficulties as we faced the New Millennium. Yes, the eclipse occurred somewhat prior to the actual start of the Millennium (in January 2001, not 2000) but its strength as a Total eclipse should not be denied, plus, much depends upon the version of the seer's quatrains for not all of analyses of his work are alike.

That the 1999 Eclipse contained planets upon the rigid Fixed Grand Cross of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius imparts a prophetic glow due to mention in the Book of Revelation of the associated animals (oxen, lion, eagle) plus, the Angel Point of Aquarius pouring out to the world the water of the spirit. All planets are at or near the mid-degrees of the Fixed signs.

Astrologically, my point is that the 1 North Eclipse of 1999 is cosmically imprinted upon the third Millennium and upon humankind, and that keeping up with planetary transits to the 1 North Horoscope of August 11, 1999 remains a worthwhile endeavor for those curious about the unfolding of time and the existential concerns so many people have these days. Apparently, even Nostradamus was understandably concerned.

At Its Worst: Angels Loosed Winds of War and Strife

Now as you know, the August 1999 1 North Eclipse sports another disturbing label: the "King of Alarm (or Terror) Eclipse" as the herald of a more violent period on Earth as most people would agree, especially once negative events and crime really got underway with the WTC attacks and America's unfortunate mishandling of the situation (aka, "Dubya's Revenge" on Poppy Bush's behalf). That's some 'mishandling' to hurtle the mighty US military in the wrong direction, isn't it? And so many lies were necessary in order to fool the country into supporting his and Dick Cheney's recklessness and plundering goals. The phrase "war crimes" is often tossed around yet nothing is done.

Then fast forward to nowadays in the not-so-New Millennium, and we're experiencing the increase of terrorism via extremist politicians in league with global and domestic thugs who are actively attempting to make violence an accepted way of life in America. But are you buying it? Purchasing violence for your children you are? Vote Republican in 2024 and you vote for more of the strong-armed paternalism that brought our country the Catholic SCOTUS decisions against women and against voting rights with additional travesties of justice due to belch from The Bench any time now.

Neptune-Pluto: Organized Criminals with Social influence

Two major transits to America's 1776 planets that undergird these risky times are the US Pluto Return (plutocratic manipulation from wealthy so-and-sos, foreign and domestic), and transit Neptune in Pisces opposing US 1776 Neptune in Virgo heralding a period of persecution in various sections of society and occurring across the victim-savior axis of Virgo-Pisces (fact vs fiction, too). 8 North: The Great American Eclipse 2024

Looking Back at Two Earlier 8 North Eclipses

With 'Nazism' now re-raising its barbaric head, and having previously considered the Great American Eclipse of April 8, 2024 in the 8 North Saros Series, let's consider two previous 8 North Eclipses, one of which perfected during the harrowing days of the Republican Great Depression in the US, and the Hitl*rian era of hate-filled authoritarianism and prejudice in Europe.

1934: criminal activity was a major problem as it is now

Among the significant Events of 1934 were arrests and multiple deaths of criminals across America such as Bonnie and Clyde, John Dillinger, and the Lindbergh baby kidnapper, thanks to the work of the FBI. The invention of the machine gun was not such a positive development imho, although of course you're welcome to disagree.

Plus, with multiple workers' strikes happening in the US, a larger event in 1934 seems important in that "history rhymes" kind of way: the 1934 Textile Workers' Strike of September 1934. Although 1934 began with an 8 North Eclipse @25Aquarius (horoscope displayed below), the strike actually occurred under the influence of the 8 South Solar Eclipse of August 10, 1934 @17Leo with its themes of loss and separation. The textile strike lasted from September 1 to September 23, 1934 resulting in 18 deaths, 162+ injuries, and the death of one mill guard; therefore, loss and separation afflicted an undetermined number of families in 1934 just from the strike alone.

What the murderous psychopathic narcissist, Herr Adolf, was up to in Europe in 1934, I shall leave to the curious reader. Grievous loss for all of humanity was certainly part of his stock in trade, as his current-day anti-societal fanatics are hoping for now while the destructive spirit roams the Earth.

The point of this post is: any of the significant cosmic conditions in effect during all 8 North Eclipses may be carried forward, as noted, in that "history rhymes" kind of way - if conditions are right - so that similar events and circumstances may reoccur. Cyclically this gives humanity opportunities to better deal with issues "this time around" and bring karmic progress where we can. Yet the most prominent clues belong to the initial eclipse in a series - you'll find notes concerning the very first 8 North, below.

So for historical context, and lest we assume that the Great American Eclipse of (election year) 2024 will bring along only happy visions and great ideas suitable for the common good - and hopefully it will! - above you see a dual image of the 8 North of 1934 (lower left) and the 8 North of 2024 (upper right) which precisely conjuncts centaur Chiron, the wounded healer archetype in Astrology, and, for some, a symbol of Jesus Christ, the key to Eternal Life; as you see, a bunch of my study notes are squooshed upon the charts (mea culpa!).

The initial 8 North occurred on May 16, 1501 @4Gem51 and is the lens through which all subsequent 8 North Eclipses may be considered via Gemini and its ruler Mercury. Therefore, issues of logic and communication must be involved.

In the May 16, 1501 Horoscope (not shown in this post), Mercury @26Gem46 conjuncts Chiron (26:50) suggesting curiosity and restlessness. In addition, Mercury also inconjuncts Pluto (Rx @26Sco10). Then given that Mercury rules the 1501 eclipse, and considering the huge amounts of demagoguery, propaganda, and deception the world is now afflicted by, I believe the Mercury-Pluto inconjunct of 1501 will carry forward along with the 8 North of 2024 and will ruffle America's 1776 Mercury-Pluto opposition across the security-and-business-minded Cancer-Capricorn axis - particularly since the 8 North of 2024 manifests as the third of our three total Great American Eclipses visible across the country. Influences of a Mercury-Pluto inconjunct include but are not limited to:

Obsessive thinking, clinging to 'old ideas' and the past with intellectual rigidity, promoting an uncompromising dogmatism, exhibiting an attraction to doctrinaire people, and spotlighting serial liars and gossips (A. Epstein). If the inconjunct sounds like anyone in politics operating current-day, dear reader, then we're on the same page. Ruffled is the US Mercury-Pluto opposition, descriptive of corrupt actors who work to undermine and sabotage existing conditions and institutions such as the US government. And we know who they are, don't we?

DC Horoscope: J6 Trial March 4, 2024 w Lunations

For your consideration:

First, a bi-wheel of Trump J6 Coup Attempt perpetrated on January 6, 2021 (inner; 2:15 pm est, the "breach" chart with US 1776 Uranus rising) surrounded by a DC Horoscope of Trump's upcoming J6 Trial for election interference, set for March 4, 2024 and overseen by Judge Chutkan, Washington DC, for the speculative hour of 10:00 am est:

"Blood Moon" Eclipse October 28, 2023

Quite a few study notes are penned upon the DC Horoscope of the "Blood" Moon Eclipse of October 28, 2023 @5Tau09 conjunct 2nd cu$p - perfecting at 4:24:01 pm EDT in time for Halloween 2023. Please enlarge the image for better viewing.

Right away we see that with fraudulent Neptune rising in shady Pisces, our espionage, sabotaging of government, and gaslighting troubles continue, plus, political, ideological, and religious conflicts extend along with financial concerns (Sun @6Scorpio: "A Gold Rush"); relationships may end if not strong enough to survive current strains.

Yes, these are tragic days of separation and mourning (Saturn = Moon-MC; R. Ebertin) afflicting suffering people around the globe, and a fateful struggle is engaged (Pluto = Saturn-MC). Meanwhile, uncertainty, insecurity, and neuroses continue to cause problems, not the least of which is in the US Congress due to "maga" Republicans who are there to sabotage, not govern.

However, Neptunian veils and disguises are due to be exposed and the spotlight of a lunar eclipse creates the perfect timing for it! Plus, we always expect significant leaks of secrets and inconvenient information when a lunar eclipse is in the picture. And for DC, this particular 'wild card of the Universe' shows sneaky Neptune rising!

Now below you see that the Midheaven ('MC"), the Goal Point of any horoscope, sports Cupido atop the chart which suggests that entities such as Corporatism, The Syndicate (crime; mafia; secret organizations), and 'The Family' (religion) remain primary antagonists of a democratic America as foreign and domestic enemies form coalitions, however loose or temporary, intended to collapse our nation. But not so fast: because the Moon's symbol, "A Bridge Being Built Across a Gorge" hints that a Speaker of the House will be found - perhaps a democrat such as Hakeem Jeffries who can work with "both sides of the aisle." Yet how well 'the people's business' might then proceed is anyone's guess. But we know it's definitely a dud under anti-democracy "maga" Republicans.

"Blood" Lunar Eclipse October 28, 2023 @5Tau09 4:24:01 pm EDT:

As you well know, the world is in crisis (Solar Eclipse in the 7 South Saros Series--here in 7th house @21Lib08) and yet hope for improvement is available via "an obstacle suddenly clears" (7 South, B. Brady). The late October Lunar Eclipse in Venus-ruled Taurus represents the culmination phase of the last New Moon (7S Eclipse) of October 14, 2023. And with a Taurus Moon, we may expect changes in financial matters, eclipse or not. Then of course, both Libra and Taurus are Venus-ruled and relate to money, valuations, and materialism.

Sun Sco-Moon Tau (Water-Earth; Mars-Pluto, Venus)

This blend of conscious-unconscious energies shows determination, intense idealism, and concern for others. However, a tendency toward dogmatism can rear its head especially when pride and self-esteem are under threat. An inherent understanding of financial realities and an inflexible or rigid will may be noticed, along with an occasional blindness toward the motives of others.

Now let's consider one of this blend's "Images for Integration" which seems most appropriate for the times - and the low-charactered people - such as these:

So this is a brief look at the October 2023 'Blood' Moon Eclipse with the chart set for Washington DC as a symbol of the United States of America. Notably, nebulous Neptune in Pisces acts as the final dispositor of the horoscope - and links to the Republican Party as the political party in the US that formed in 1854 with Neptune in mid-Pisces, so I blame their underhanded ways for most if not all of our current troubles. And as far as yours truly is concerned, the GOP can dissolve itself any way it likes as long as it doesn't wash our country down the drain with it. Besides: Republican politicians don't represent even half the US population so why should they run the show with their hateful fasc*st agenda?

American Revolution's Eclipse Aug 2027

As in 1775 Themes Repeat with the 11 South in 2027

Back in the olden days of December 2012, the Horoscope of the American Revolution was published here on SO'W with a few planetary and historical details added such as the war's hidden dynamic.

Below is an excerpt from my December 2012 post which, in my mind, relates to the J6 coup attempt by sore loser Trump and his followers, the extremists, anarchists and zealots willing to overthrow the government of the nation that my Revolutionary War ancestors sacrificed, fought, and died to help establish. 'Maga' hotheads have even had the audacity to cite what they called their "1776 moment" as if their violent, traitorous sabotage of the US Congress that day was in league with the revolt of 1775 against the British monarchy. So actually, they even had the year wrong!

And yet, 'under cover' of the American Revolution, Trump's thugs and maga politicians have sought to justify what was a sore loser attempt to physically force a second Trump "presidency" upon the majority of American voters who had said, enough! to another term of Trumpian brutality and grift. Grudge-holding Donald was rebuffed, and he remains po'd.

Of course predictably, our country is now experiencing a wave of strong-armed violence and threats against anyone in process of holding Trump accountable for instigating J6, plus, for the several other allegations against him, including espionage. And if the US military had played along that day, Trump's coup attempt might have been successful, so it's significant that Republican Senator Tuberville of Alabama has been aiding Trump for months by holding up military promotions. But good news! The new chairman of the Joint-Chiefs-of-Staff, C.Q. Brown, has been successfully confirmed by bipartisan Senate vote, "sidestepping" the Tuberville scheme to hobble our military which damages our national security, and aids Mr. Putin.

And you'll note that House magas are against more funds for Ukraine and it's part of the snag involved with the Republican government shutdown that could be coming November 17th. Meanwhile, Rs are now callously using the Israel-Hamas War (begun October 7, 2023) to further their support of Russia by claiming no support for democratic Ukraine, send the support to Israel instead, they cry!

Thankfully confirmed now is General Randy George as Army Chief of Staff. At least there's a bit more progress although US national security remains in jeopardy, just how America's enemies planned. And you've noticed how the Hamas attack on Israel came only after Tuberville's blockage of military promotions intended to neuter the US military as much as possible.

But speaking of military topics and conditions, let's look ahead to 2027 because a significant Solar Eclipse repeats and it's the one that 'spawned' the American Revolution, and it arrives in early August 2027 (influences begin in July) and, as the Cosmos would have it, the malevolent natal Pluto of Donald Trump @10Leo02 will be 'eclipsed' by it as it casts a disruptive cosmic spotlight his way. This transit indicates power issues or abuse, plus, criminal offences such as gang wars for anyone who lives long enough to experience it.

The American Revolution 1775's 11 South Eclipse occurred @11Pis11; an eclipse in the 11 South Series repeats on August 2, 2027 @9Leo55:

As you see, 10th H Pluto @26Cap41 in 1775, planet of power, manipulation, and control, is in the same degree (26) as battling Mars with Mars @26Leo13 (conjunct Trump's natal Mars). Their inconjunct (150 degr) is nearly partile (exact) and applying (0A27.) A persecuting Mars-Pluto inconjunction (or, quincunx) describes a courageous challenger (Mars) who's grown weary of being someone else's 'workhorse' and Mars' bad temper results in explosive conditions which are made more burdensome by financial stress.

Also notable is transit Pluto in Aquarius aligning in opposition to Trump's Pluto in Leo suggesting a no-compromise struggle for power and control.

These cosmic signals resemble the conditions that sparked the American Revolution to me. How about you?

Hamas' Founding Eclipse repeats Oct 14, 2023

The terrorist organization known as Hamas (the Islamic Resistance Movement) was founded in December 1987 under the influence of a 7 South Solar Eclipse. For background information see PBS Newshour's: Hamas: Its Origins, Leaders, and Funding. Hamas has poked the tiger, as you know, by attacking Israel so that barbaric animalism and sadism blights the people and land. As we've previously discussed, the 7 South Series of solar eclipses is a Mars-Square-Pluto affair of power, anger, and revenge.

You may wish to check out the 2023 Israel-Hamas war page on Wikipedia for more information, but note that as a current event, details may change quickly including the title of the entry to "2023 Gaza war."

Now obviously, the 7 South Eclipse occurring in 3 days falls within the 2-week window in which eclipse themes may influence events prior to the day of the eclipse. And that's saying a lot since the 7 North Eclipse of April 20, 2023 @29Aries was labeled here on SO'W as "Herr Adolf's birthday eclipse" and contained elements of (blood) lust and deeply hidden passion bursting forth (B. Brady). Obviously, authoritarian take-over energies are suggested.

Then as you know, 29Aries is the position of warrior planet Mars during Trump's maga mob coup attempt on January 6, 2021 ('J6'). Yes, conditions and events link together, they're all related and lead one to another. After all--

Historical events are cyclical as are eclipses.

So here's the 7 South Horoscope set for Gaza Strip under which Hamas was founded; penned around the outside and highlighted in blue are the planetary positions for the attack and invasion of October 7, 2023, early morning hours; I shall use 4:53:34 am EEDT symbolically because aggressive 1987 Mars @19Vir57 rises over Gaza at that moment:

Pluto: Planet of Primal Violence, Death, and Control

As you see, many of my (scribbly) study notes are penned on the chart, plus, consulting the Sabian Symbols would be well worth the effort if you're curious. Significantly, 2023 Pluto Rx @27Cap53 (America's 1776 Pluto position) inconjuncts 1987 Chiron (old grievances), while squaring 1987 Jupiter Rx (expansion squelched by a higher power).

Meanwhile, President Biden has called the Hamas attack "bloodthirsty" in keeping with the still-in-force 7 North Eclipse theme of "blood" lust (themes combine with 7 South themes, both eclipses are influential at the moment). Years ago on SO'W, I embedded a video clip of Senator Joe Biden asserting that he is a "Zionist" but at some point later on the clip was deleted. I suppose he still is for he stands with Israel today.

Now in closing, I am compelled to add that as a Protestant Christian, I've always been admonished to Pray for the Peace of Israel - perhaps you have been, too. Now that war and primal violence have come to the Holy Land, may God help us all.

Dual Images: 8 North Solar Eclipse April 8, 2024; natal chart of Robert F. Kennedy Jr set for a suggested birth hour of 5:32 pm:

Recently we considered the natal horoscope of 2024 candidate RFK Jr and the 8 North Great American Eclipse of April 8, 2024, another Total solar eclipse that will be visible across the US as was the Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017 in the 1 North Saros Series - in fact, their paths will cross in the center of the country in an X marks the spot pattern.

You remember how the 1 North in 2017 landed directly upon Herr Trump's natal Ascendant (@29Leo conjunct Regulus) with Mars rising. As things have turned out, this cosmic synchronicity is what a total eclipse in centuries past was considered to be: a bad omen.

As for the presidential bid of Robert F. Kennedy Jr, transit Pluto (wealth, stealth, power, control, manipulation, transformation) is retrograde today @27Cap53 where Mr. Underworld continues aiding and/or abetting Mr. Kennedy's natal Sun and Mercury (27-30Cap), and of course 27Cap+ is the position in Capricorn of America's 1776 Pluto so Mr. Kennedy has that connection of power that is at least partially related to the assassinations of his father and uncle as they served America. Notably, one of Pluto's many roles is the assassin.

Now I don't know about you, but it seems amazing to me that Robert Jr would dare enter US politics at the highest level - unless he has the 'highest level' of protection or is promised such, and I don't mean US Secret Service agents.

And so the current transit of Pluto marks a time of Sun-Pluto and Mercury-Pluto energies for RFK Jr, energies with potentials for power-craving, convincing oration, fraudulent representation, exhibitionism, demagoguery, and/or zealotry (R. Ebertin). Any, all, or none may apply.

Then with his natal Chiron and Venus-North-Node conjunction in Capricorn already visited by Pluto (22-25Cap), it's proving to be an extended period of Plutonian influences for him. In fact, major ego expansion may be one result, with identity change a possibility. A secret handshake with Plutocracy (Pluto-Chiron) could have occurred as well which to me suggests major campaign funding from the transnational crowd of societal meddlers.

Yet despite it all, we know that transit Pluto soon creeps out of Capricorn and lumbers into Aquarius for a years-long stay, so its powerful influences on Capricorn planets, permanent as they are, will begin to wane.

Transit Pluto in Election Year 2024

When we discussed the transit of heavyweight if subversive planet Pluto to 00AQ00 in 2023 and into 2024, midpoint picture potentials were included due to the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction of 2020 @00AQ29 and its transformative meeting with transit Pluto. These energies will intensify all through 2024 leading up to Inauguration 2025 as transit Pluto reaches 00AQ29 and a midpoint picture perfects between the karmic trio of Jupiter-Saturn = Pluto.

The Plutonian midpoint picture becomes exact on:

1. February 4, 2024; 2. August 8, 2024; and 3. December 11, 2024, with the November 5, 2024 Election sandwiched between numbers 2 and 3. Of course, we can expect that it will be at least December 2024 before elections results are known and there are no certainties about the outcome of the 2024 Electoral College Vote, a tradition that Trump and comrades diluted along with the entire election process itself, as ordered from abroad.

Then as we know, every Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction marks a new social order beginning of approximately 20-years' duration. Actually, the entire election year in the US will be cosmically imprinted by these energies, along with the April 2024 Conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus, and the third of three Great American Eclipses, also in April (see links, below). Meanwhile, here you see a bi-wheel of the 2020 Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction (inner) and, because it occurs prior to Election 2024 in November, the chart of the second direct transit of Pluto (August 8, 2024) surrounds the 2020 Conjunction. Of note is that the deadline for resolving election disputes is set for December 10, 2024 (one day prior to December 11th!), and the meeting of the electors is scheduled for December 16, 2024; as in 2021, congressional certification of Electors' votes is intended to be held on January 6, 2025:

Potentials of Jupiter-Saturn = Pluto: intense business activity; a total reversal to previously made plans; extreme changes (M. Munkasey); violent changes; immense effort; separation; restriction (R. Ebertin, who adds, "in certain cases Pluto = Jupiter-Saturn leads to an enforced change through imprisonment, in which case the political situation has to be considered"); major change of situation; tremendous perseverance; dramatic thrust of self; control of the situation (N. Additionally, the 2020 Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction landed upon US Inaugural Sun (Trump in Dec 2020) with potentials for: 'boasting a lot; increased self-pride; inconstancy; moodiness (disturbed liver function); change of residence; taking destiny in one's own (tiny) hands; major changes according to plan, or if nothing is prepared, having to make the best of things' (Munkasey; Ebertin; Tyl).

Jupiter Expansion-Saturn Restriction in Politics

Now as you know, Jupiter and Saturn are often used to signify America's two political parties although the symbolism tends to alternate, depending on which party is actng the Santa Claus role of generosity (Jupiter), and which tries to limit, restrict, and hold them back (Saturn) - or simply ends or seeks to end, benefits for regular folk. Generally, it seems to me that these are permanent assignations since the Democratic Party is more motherly and protective (as is democracy!) with a big tent for all, while the economic royalists of the Republican Party are more "fatherly" and conservative - with conditions (as in, conditional love).

The party's 'conditions' these days include a huge taboo for GOP politicians who dare "reach across the aisle." Why, that coud lead to improvements in society - the opposite of what Republicans want for the American people, so cooperation is a no-no. Right now, even the NYSE has its panties in a bunch because employment in the US is way up, thanks to President Biden, and finagling a financial crash is what the GOP needs in time to skew Election 2024 toward the fasc*st GOP.

Because it isn't as if Republicans can win elections by promoting aloud their Saturnian policies of austerity and loss. Yet some folks are catching on and my hope is that all voters will realize that voting for more of the extremist GOP's "trickle down" economics is self-destructive and harmful for our families and our nation.

Of course, by tradition the checks'n'balances of the Jupiter-Saturn duo kept the US government simmering along on a more or less even keel but the GOP is working harder than ever to keep the imbalance going, and worsening. They can't even run the House of Representatives without shutting down the government, leaving the House leaderless, and causing the US a credit downgrade (they hope). Maga-types are not politicians, they're chaos agents parroting their Uranian idol Trump.

Astrologically, this points toward rebellious anarchist Uranus lurching this way and that, ruling on a whim and a notion, with major disruption, even revolution, the goal. To Uranus add the Neptune-Pluto duo of underworld crime and we have precisely the crooks and circumstances we see before our very eyes and in our court rooms.

As for the (purposefully) leaderless House of Representatives, if Trump steps in "temporarily" as Speaker, his 10th house Uranus in chatty Gemini, duplicitous and transactional as it may be, will only cause more chaos which, after all, is Trump's way of doing business. But it's probably all talk though since Trump has endorsed loose cannon Jim Jordan for the Speaker position. Or perhaps Steve Scalise will grab the gavel! We'll have to see how things go next week as the maga/freedom caucus performers continue their clown show. And we'll see if secret-seller Trump, agent orange as I've called him for years, is brave enough to set a toe back in Washington DC without fear of being detained as the traitor he is. So if he shows up, will the District be big enough for agent orange and Jack Smith?

Meanwhile, between 2022's US Pluto Return and transit Pluto leaving Capricorn and creeping into Aquarius, a variety of conditions are shifting across the globe and everyone is feeling it, Earth changes included.

Mars SQ Pluto: Violent Tempers; Crisis, or a Clearing

On October 8, 2023, a Mars-Pluto square forms from 27Libra (conjunct South Node) to 27Capricorn (our US 1776 Pluto position) so it's basically a Mars Square Pluto transit of anger, jealousy, and revenge. Today's ousting of Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House is a good example of these angry, vengeful energies as are Trump's ugly remarks against those seeking to hold him accountable - including NY Judge Arthur Engoron who's "deciding the fate of Trump's business empire" while Trump keeps grousing and prevaricating outside the courtroom!

Must Be the Eclipse Season of The Witch Hunt

Then six days after the exact square, a 7 South Solar Eclipse arrives. This post concerns these forceful, angry energies of jealousy and revenge, and spotlights a cosmic time link or two:

The 'ring of fire' Solar Eclipse which manifests on October 14, 2023 @21Libra falls within the 7 South Saros Series, and when we want more details about any solar eclipse we can consider the initial eclipse that opened the Series (family) which, in this case, occurred on June 22, 1248 at 2:04:12 pm LMT @8Cancer. Shown below is the 1248 eclipse horoscope set for then-nonexistent Washington DC because the federal city's location upon the Earth was in existence, and because the chart has to be set for somewhere.

For historical context see 1248, a year of Emperors, Kings, Popes, Cathedrals, Knights Templar, and the Seventh Crusade (1248--1254). Meanwhile in 2023, the US is encumbered with a Catholic-infused Supreme Court behaving like kings, taking away rights, and forcing an extreme agenda on the American people. And some of them are supremely bribe-able!

Cyclical Eclipses Are Reliable 'Cosmic Time Links'

An advantage to the method of gaining more details is that the current eclipse in Venus-ruled Libra may be scrutinized through the lens of the sign its ruler of its initial eclipse, and for 7 South, that's Moon-ruled Cancer. Now if you're reading this post, I doubt that Libran and Cancerian traits need listing in this post, so let's skip to the dual horoscopes shown, below:

As you see, 7 South Themes are penned on the image along with several other of my study notes including planetary aspects to both eclipses. So it's the Mars-Pluto square from the initial eclipse that gives the 2023 eclipse its 'power, anger, force' vibes and as the Cosmos would have it, a real time Mars-Pluto square influences the 7 South Eclipse Horoscope of October 14, 2023. It's as if the Universe is trying to tell us something by way of a wild card "cosmic blink" eclipse. This is not unusual if only humanity would listen. Obviously, karma is involved in the realm of "reaping what was sown" for repetition of eclipses in their series give humaity opportunities to deal with issues in more positive ways that lead to better outcomes.

Aries-Libra Axis: Conflict vs Cooperation

Now for more historical context, here's a view of the 7 South Solar Eclipse of August 21, 1933 a watershed year in the US (FDR) and in Europe (Herr Adolf who tried his brutality here but was rebuffed). I believe that the fact that a 7 South eclipse manifested in a Nazi-infested year is a major part of the "something" the Universe is trying to tell us - to warn us about, and you've noticed that "August 21st" is the same date of our Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017 conjunct royal star Regulus.

This creates a cosmic time link between the themes from the 2017 solar eclipse in the 1 North Saros Series, and adds 1 North influences to the themes of 7 South; both are in Leo so Leonine traits of leadership are spotlighted such as pride, vanity, grandstanding, and pomposity, difficult traits the US continues to deal with as we ride the Trump Train. 2017 to 2021, then 2022, 2023, and so on::
