A Significant Cosmic Time Link from 2024 Back to 1986

Solar Eclipses can disrupt and change the course of events on Earth, and sometimes cosmic time links exist between Solar Eclipses when one occurs at the same degree as a previous eclipse. Such is the case with the Great American Eclipse of April 8, 2024 @19Ari24 in the 8 North Saros Series of visions and vivid dreams (Brady). This cosmic circumstance has them falling into different Saros Series for it's the eclipse degree that's activated, not a repeat of Saros Series (family) so that their themes are melded or blended for those who choose to consider such a 'history rhymes' situation. See the end of this post for a few possibilities.

The Great American Eclipse 8N 2024 vs 6N 1986

Above, is a dual image of the 8 North Eclipse of April 8, 2024 @19Ari24 set for Washington DC (and conjunct Chiron = the healer? or the blindspot? with US 1776 Chiron @20Ari08) and the activating-by-degree 6 North Solar Eclipse of April 9, 1986 @19Ari06. 6 North themes concern 'relationships to authority figures, a need to take responsibility and control, and accepting commitments due to another's inability to carry on via illness or unreliability (Brady).

6 North repeated on April 30, 2022 @10Tau28 conjunct zealous anarchist Uranus in Taurus which suggests 'maga' politicians, their figurehead, and their anti-democratic backers (ex: corporatists). For as you know, intolerance (ex: racism) is one of the more negative traits of Venus-ruled Taurus along with possessiveness and selfish materialism. Notably, manipulative Pluto, planet of extreme wealth, was in Taurus during the Civil War - and the 7 North Eclipse which influenced the Civil War repeated in April 20, 2022 @29Aries - conjunct J6 Mars. Perhaps you watched the events of January 6, 2021 as a Confederate flag was carried into the Capitol Building. The symbolism was impossible to miss especially since sore losers kept yapping about a second "civil war."

Cosmic Time Links via Eclipses

Truth is, we've discussed cosmic time links between eclipses previously in a September 2023 post: October 2024 Eclipse Activates Another! from 2024 back to 2005 and representing a continuation from the eclipse links discussed in this post: from April 2024 to October 2024 and into 2025 until middle to the end of March when a 9 New North Eclipse in Aries takes the stage.

But for clues in this 2024-to-1986 consideration we look to prominent Events of 1986 to see if or how they relate to potential events and issues in 2024. The foremost event of 1986 which occurred within the 6 North Series has to be the Chernobyl Meltdown of April 26, 1986 (11:38 am BADT -4:00 Chernobyl, Ukraine). Naturally this links to Putin's Invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. However, the Invasion of 2022 falls within the 5 New South Series with its theme of 'peak events' (Brady).

And curiously enough, the tragic Challenger Explosion of January 28, 1986 also occurred under the influence of the 5 New South Eclipse which manifested on November 12, 1985 - both events = negative "peak experiences," as we may agree).

As for blending the cosmic time links, themes, and events from 2024 to 1986, I'd suggest connections involving nuclear plants due to Chernobyl, war due to Ukraine, and America's 1776 Chiron ("21Aries" = "A Pugilist Entering the Ring" shown by the US Chiron Return/s of April 20, 2024, November 8, 2024 (near Election 2024), and February 18, 2025; these return dates issue from our July 4, 1776 Horoscope and will differ somewhat depending on the US founding horoscope used. Political and financial matters are potentials.

Now the Sabian Symbol for America's 4th house Chiron may suggest war, yes, but it also spotlights the 2024 Presidential Election which, more than ever before, will determine the future of our nation. Plus, America's three-fer Chiron Return of 2024/2025 hints at some sort of a replay of events from 1776 as well with freedom and independence simmering on the hob again as Fascism knocks at our door, longing to destroy democracy and take control. This is not acceptable!

So the two eclipes link Election 2024 with the Presidential (re) Election of Ronald Reagan in November 1986 and suggests to me his administration's financial manipulations, and Reaganomics (trickle down economics), the misguided neoliberalism which is well passed its expiration date, and has been shown to be a huge scam perpetrated by the global financial system upon the 99%. This has been in the news as you may have noticed. In fact, Thom Hartmann asserts that Reagan's Neoliberalism Destroyed the Middle Class. I tend to agree.

And finally, you'll certainly think of other connections to 1986 events which may cycle 'round again for further dealing in 2024, but do check the upper right corner for a note about the 2nd house natal Jupiter of Trump opposing the degrees of the eclipses, as our orange albatross continues interfering and meddling in all he touches - and disrupts the US legal and electional systems, as instructed by his backers, both foreign and domestic. Tiresomely, Big Donnie's financial woes and shady way of doing business will continue to be spotlighted in the news and in court. Personally, I remain suspicious that off-shore accounts are hidden away (he hopes--and he's an escape hatch kind of guy).

Then to close this dreary post, perhaps you can read my note penned on the image about the potential blending of 8N and 6N themes which could transpire despite the presence of the wounded healer Chiron 'the key' which, in Mars-ruled Aries, symbolizes optimism and the freedom to do and know more (M. Pottenger).

Now there are positive indications worth hoping and fighting for!

Mars SQ Pluto: Violent Tempers; Crisis, or a Clearing

On October 8, 2023, a Mars-Pluto square forms from 27Libra (conjunct South Node) to 27Capricorn (our US 1776 Pluto position) so it's basically a Mars Square Pluto transit of anger, jealousy, and revenge. Today's ousting of Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House is a good example of these angry, vengeful energies as are Trump's ugly remarks against those seeking to hold him accountable - including NY Judge Arthur Engoron who's "deciding the fate of Trump's business empire" while Trump keeps grousing and prevaricating outside the courtroom!

Must Be the Eclipse Season of The Witch Hunt

Then six days after the exact square, a 7 South Solar Eclipse arrives. This post concerns these forceful, angry energies of jealousy and revenge, and spotlights a cosmic time link or two:

The 'ring of fire' Solar Eclipse which manifests on October 14, 2023 @21Libra falls within the 7 South Saros Series, and when we want more details about any solar eclipse we can consider the initial eclipse that opened the Series (family) which, in this case, occurred on June 22, 1248 at 2:04:12 pm LMT @8Cancer. Shown below is the 1248 eclipse horoscope set for then-nonexistent Washington DC because the federal city's location upon the Earth was in existence, and because the chart has to be set for somewhere.

For historical context see 1248, a year of Emperors, Kings, Popes, Cathedrals, Knights Templar, and the Seventh Crusade (1248--1254). Meanwhile in 2023, the US is encumbered with a Catholic-infused Supreme Court behaving like kings, taking away rights, and forcing an extreme agenda on the American people. And some of them are supremely bribe-able!

Cyclical Eclipses Are Reliable 'Cosmic Time Links'

An advantage to the method of gaining more details is that the current eclipse in Venus-ruled Libra may be scrutinized through the lens of the sign its ruler of its initial eclipse, and for 7 South, that's Moon-ruled Cancer. Now if you're reading this post, I doubt that Libran and Cancerian traits need listing in this post, so let's skip to the dual horoscopes shown, below:

As you see, 7 South Themes are penned on the image along with several other of my study notes including planetary aspects to both eclipses. So it's the Mars-Pluto square from the initial eclipse that gives the 2023 eclipse its 'power, anger, force' vibes and as the Cosmos would have it, a real time Mars-Pluto square influences the 7 South Eclipse Horoscope of October 14, 2023. It's as if the Universe is trying to tell us something by way of a wild card "cosmic blink" eclipse. This is not unusual if only humanity would listen. Obviously, karma is involved in the realm of "reaping what was sown" for repetition of eclipses in their series give humaity opportunities to deal with issues in more positive ways that lead to better outcomes.

Aries-Libra Axis: Conflict vs Cooperation

Now for more historical context, here's a view of the 7 South Solar Eclipse of August 21, 1933 a watershed year in the US (FDR) and in Europe (Herr Adolf who tried his brutality here but was rebuffed). I believe that the fact that a 7 South eclipse manifested in a Nazi-infested year is a major part of the "something" the Universe is trying to tell us - to warn us about, and you've noticed that "August 21st" is the same date of our Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017 conjunct royal star Regulus.

This creates a cosmic time link between the themes from the 2017 solar eclipse in the 1 North Saros Series, and adds 1 North influences to the themes of 7 South; both are in Leo so Leonine traits of leadership are spotlighted such as pride, vanity, grandstanding, and pomposity, difficult traits the US continues to deal with as we ride the Trump Train. 2017 to 2021, then 2022, 2023, and so on::

Yes, hotheads, sore losers, and racists have been acting out their destructive discontent with democracy in America ever since Herr Trump gave them 'permission' beginning in June 2015 with his 'prez bid'. And it seems to me that their sourness is nothing relocation couldn't cure - to another country where their totalitarian plans might be appreciated - plans that were tried and implemented in the past and found very seriously wanting.

Eclipses: Cosmic Time Links in History

Made famous in our day by a film starring Tom Cruise, Operation Valkyrie was a real event, one of over 40 assassination attempts against Adolf Hitler, and the most well-known attempt by Germany's high-ranking military officers of aristocratic descent. Many of them had also committed crimes, but to their credit, the plotters wanted to end the war and bring down the brutal, murderous, racist, psychopathic Hitler regime. However, as you know, the briefcase bomb exploded during the meeting at Hitler's Wolf's Lair headquarters, but the damage didn't reach Herr H himself, more's the pity.

The failed assassination attempt took place in what is now Poland on July 20, 1944, the very day of a Solar Eclipse @27Cancer in the 19 North Saros Series. Of significance to current US events of a fascist-nazi nature, is the fact that 19 North is the series in which our 2016 Presidential Election took place as well as the 2017 Inauguration of foreign agent orange (horoscope linked, below).

As a cosmic time link, we can note that the 19 North Eclipse of 1944 manifested in opposition to America's 1776 Pluto which suggests "a critical point in karmic development" when arrives a choice between "striving for higher attainments on the spiritual plane" - or, "reverting to animalism" (R. Lineman). It's no stretch to see the connection between America's turn from the animalism during the Hitler era and World War II, and its tragic embrace by a mobster-like figurehead and his rabid followers in our day as the struggle of a pro-democacy America against fascism (which opens the door to nazism) continues toward Election 2024 and beyond.

We might even say that in America circa 2016, a big bad wolf crashed into the henhouse, and on January 20, 2017, the thieving wolf was allowed to take over the egg-shaped Oval Office, vowing to "end" American carnage, yet we now see its flowering via his 'failed insurrection coup 2021', and violent events perpetrated all around our nation against children and others with weapons sales promoted by the NRA - and most crimes having obvious links between "white power" then and now.

'Big Lie' Beliefs Float Upon Fluffy Clouds of Neptune

With approximately one third of US voters swayed by the rhetoric of Herr Trump, the September 1, 2016 repetition of a 19 North Eclipse was unfortunately opposed by transit Neptune in Pisces, a cosmic implication of falsehoods, fraud, deception, delusion, dissolution, illusion, and gaslighting if there ever was one. 2016 Neptune was used by enemies of America to create a cosmic counterbalance to the fact-based themes of 19 North:

"Realism; coming down to earth and seeing an old situation for what it really is; a good time for tackling the truth" (paraphrasing B. Brady). Disappointingly, Neptune in Pisces clouded every issue within the public discourse and continues to do so, including within the Neptunian realms of mass media and the masses, aka, the Collective.

Aspects to the above Eclipse contain potentials of rebellion, belligerent use of force (square Mars), immature people taking the easy way out and denying reality (square Saturn), reality vs fantasy, chaos, confusion, self-delusion (opposite Neptune), and people who can see beneath superficial layers of reality (trine Pluto, with Pluto conjunct US 'Powell' Moon of July 1, 1776 notated on the horoscope as turmoil, emotional trauma, upsets, strong emotions).

Then for political involvement in 2023, we have only to consider which party was founded under the nebulous rays of Neptune in Pisces: the Republican Party of 1854. The party's recent Neptune Return spotlights the planet's dissolving and undermining functions as absurd conspiracies and false ideals lead their 'maga' agenda into superficial pursuits designed to neglect the country's real issues and concerns which need serious attention on Capitol Hill. Yet as authoritarian Republicans know, an America collapsed into chaos is a good time to attempt to establish a new form of government, as history shows, be it fascist as it may be.

So my fuss for today is that the "old situation" that every voter in 2016 should have seen for what it really was and is describes the brutal animalism of fascism and nazism, and the choice Americans had - and still have - to choose a higher course for our country going forward as Election 2024 nears.

Biden SOTU 2023 and the first SOTU 1790

America's very First State of the Union Address was delivered by President George Washington on January 8, 1790 at Federal Hall, NYC. Follow the link to read the transcript in which he focused on topics such as defense, foeign policy, economics, education, and immigration.

For the sake of comparison, here's the transcript of President Biden's SOTU Address 2023 in which the multitude of accomplishments of the Biden administration were mentioned, even through the rude catcalls and shouts by maga far-righters such as the Greene woman. During his Address to Congress, Mr. Biden brilliantly finagled Republicans in the chamber to stand up and applaud for social programs that several of their party have threatened to decrease or delete, despite the misery and suffering such actions would cause within our society, and the resulting damage to the US economy. For as everyone with a brain knows, the majority of Social Security benefits are spent right back into the US economy!

Yet grabbing benefits away from the people who paid into the programs has been the plan of Republican royalists ever since a bee called FDR's New Deal got under their entitled bonnets. If GOP plans were transparent, they'd openly declare, "raid the funds and hand them over to Wall Street"! Which is curious since that's the location where George Washington delivered the first SOTU (1790 horoscope shown with astro-notes), plus, Wall Street is where Washington was Inaugurated in 1789 (horoscope shown) as he created the presidential archetype for future 'commanders-in-chief' to follow.

So! Above you see a bi-wheel of SOTU 1790 (center; no exact time located, set for 12:00 pm LMT) surrounded by the 2023 SOTU Horoscope set for 9:00 pm est, the official time of last night's SOTU, very ably delivered by President "Finish the Job!" Biden.

The most prominent planetary link from 1790 to 2023 (aka, a cosmic time link) is circled in orange and blue and that's the 'formidable' Sun-Pluto connection, which we saw demonstrated and utilized by President Joe Biden last evening as the power of the presidency, long ago modeled by President George Washington. And this, after a 4-year deviation from the archetypal model of decency and competence.

Now also noted on the image is a dynamic T-Square between last evening's Moon-Venus opposition (frustrated MAGA malcontents who just couldn't contain their strong 'sore-loser' emotions - especially with TV cameras trained on them) with testy Mars in duplicitous, mouthy Gemini at apex - transit Mars still strong, hot, and brash at perigee until March 16th, if memory serves.

A Cosmic Link Note: Washington's SOTU Address 1790 fell within the 8 North Saros Series (25Sco16) of 'prophetic dreams, visions, hunches' (Brady), and an 8 North eclipse will repeat on April 8, 2024 as another Great American Eclipse, the third of three. March on Rome - March on Washington?

One thing about scowling Benito Mussolini's October 28, 1922 March on Rome is that he grasped political power by becoming Prime Minister the next day, not by armed conflict but by the ruling class transferring political power into his fascist hands. The saga goes that King Victor Emmanuel III feared civil war and Fascists had become quite popular around the country, so on October 29, 1922, the King handed over the reins of the Italian government to Benito Mussolini and his National Fascist Party, thereby avoiding Fascist barbarianism. No doubt, the King was under threat, hence Mussolini's March on Rome.

So that was nearly 100 years ago, why bring it up now?

Because of my belief with which you're welcome to disagree: that during Trump's January 6, 2021 coup attempt against the US Congress, at one point it was clear that the 'Mango Mussolini' knew that his minions were armed, wanted them to stay that way, and was determined to lead their march toward the Capitol Building, which would have been an echo, or historical reenactment, of Mussolini and his Fascists marching upon the capital city again, militia-styled 'blackshirts' and all. Seems to me that the scowling expressions the two despots so obviously share, and the stubborn stances they use in order to intimidate (see above photo, and Herr Trump's typical 'arms folded' across his barrel chest), are in no way coincidental. For Trump, the mimicry is purposeful.

Then a quick glance at the March on Rome's October 28, 1922 planets reveals a descriptive midpoint picture which remained operative on October 29, 1922 as well. See what you think:

Venus-Neptune = Saturn: "A morbid or pathological disposition" (R. Ebertin), and "fear of losing the dream" (N. Tyl). And somehow, considering Herr T's natal midpoint picture of 'deaths of many people, fury, mania of destruction, intervention of a higher power' (Mars-Saturn = Pluto), I suspect that the two scowlers - both blights upon their respective countries - might have gotten along just fine, and passed many wonderful "love letters" between them which would have fluffed up both their massive, malevolent egos.

Karmic Signposts via 'Wild Cards of the Universe'

Many moons ago in August 2018, we discussed the three Total Great American Eclipses of 1878, 2017, and 2024 and now I'm finally getting around to writing a brief overview of the three eclipses in relation to America, primarily via the signs of the Zodiac in which the three 'Cosmic Blink' Eclipses (aka, 'Wild Cards of the Universe') have and will manifest, plus, any contacts or cosmic time links with planets, points, or stars that may be 'eclipsed'.

Since the three paths of totality cutting cross our country have been previously mentioned in various posts, I won't repeat my notes here, but you're invited to scroll down the sidebar of SO'W and type 'Eclipses' or another label into the Search field such as the Saros Series of the three which are: 6 South, 1 North, and 8 North. Of course, employing a search engine of your choice can also turn up path of totality information using dates of the eclipses listed, below.

Now as you know, the significance of the three eclipses that directly affect America is in relation to historical events occurring under the influence that a disruptive Uranian eclipse can engender for 6 months or more after manifestation, and often for up to two weeks prior while the earlier eclipse themes remain in force, but are weakening.

Sensitive and critical degrees can factor in, and obviously, other cosmic conditions and earthly events during their particular years of occurrence are worth considering for a more comprehensive view which, in this case, means years 1878, 2017, and 2024. Meanwhile, Total eclipses have the strongest effects of all particularly in locations directly in one's path of totality. However, my use of eclipses tends to be mainly degree-based, and notably, New Moons and Full Moons sometimes behave in Uranian fashion similar to Solar and Lunar Eclipses. One way to tell if this happens is when a mere lunation such as a Full Moon reveals inconvenient facts and/or activates a change of course in earthly events!

Leo, Leo, then Aries: Major Sun-Mars Vibrations

6 South Solar Eclipse July 29, 1878 @6Leo33 and 1 North Solar Eclipse of August 21, 2017 @28Leo52: both are Leo Solar Eclipses spotlighting Leonine issues of leadership and authority. Difficulties must be approached with resolve for half-hearted solutions gain little or nothing. Ruled by the Sun, positive traits of the sign of Leo suggests self-confidence, vigor, and natural leadership ability, however, negative traits such as self-centeredness, egocentricity, pomposity, vanity, ostentation, and overblown pride create stumbling blocks to karmic progress (R. Lineman).

In addition, Leo Eclipses denote karmic relationships with father figures and/or offspring, so I'll let you decide, dear reader, who these negative Leonine traits describe and who has blocked America's progress, particularly since 2017. Hint: an entire overweening political party is involved, plus, their figurehead.

Eclipse Contacts and Cosmic Links

Of note is that the 6 South Eclipse of 1878 conjoined US 1776 North Node of future direction, while the 1 North Eclipse of 2017 conjoined royal Regulus with its 'success if revenge is avoided' caution - conjunct the natal Ascendant and rising Mars of the orange seditionist (who foolishly gazed directly at the eclipse without safety glasses). Significantly, 1 North is the "Mother of All Eclipses" Saros Series which heralded the New Millennium, and can be called the 'Nostradamus Eclipse' which manifested on August 11, 1999 @19Leo with its Fixed Grand Cross of prophetic difficulties (affecting the entire world, not just the US with terror and alarm). Also with Leo, child abuse issues and anti-child-abuse campaigns are also be indicated (as they have been), along with laws concerning these issues with dramatic Leo also being a sign associated with lawyers and legal affairs. Then we might also add misogyny against women and abortion rights to the issues since Leo is the sign of 'romance' and the pregnancies that can result, and affected by several other cosmic factors that are beyond the scope of this post.

So! Next up will be the 8 North Eclipse of April 8, 2024 @19Ari24 precisely conjunct centaur Chiron (@19Ari24). The presence of wounded healer (or, blindspot) Chiron at that degree suggests several possibilities for America, not the least of which is due to the nearness of our nation's Chiron Return (@20Ari08, a three-fer), a period when moral values and higher ethics may resurface due to Chiron's association with roots, or even 'priesthood' - and in Mars-ruled Aries, Chiron suggests damage to our nation's sense of self-identity. So for me, if Enlightenment principles of 1776 are part of the resurfacing picture, so be it! Because it seems promising that 8 North themes include 'new-found inspiration, inventiveness, insights, visions, and vivid dreams' (B. Brady). Of course, how practical such solutions may be must remain to be seen.

Now another factor in today's overview is this: that, because there are three Total eclipses, it's possible to think of them as facets within an ongoing process similar to the direct-retrograde-direct phases of planets in their orbits - you know, the denial-acceptance-solution model. But this concept I'll leave for you, dear reader, to engage with on that level or not, as you wish.

The good news is that if this solution-based model applies, year 2024 may turn out better for our nation than many folks now fear due to recent stresses in society such as the activities of saboteurs and seditionists, both foreign and domestic. For if We The People make it through the period affected by the 2024 Great American Eclipse and its effects, a measure of relief can ease the stresses and strains our nation has been victimized and exploited by for decades, even centuries (since America has had enemies from the start), and our democratic Republic, tattered as it may or may not be, will live on.

Yet realistically, we know that first we must deal with the fact that 2024 is a Presidential Election year in the US, and cheaters, election-riggers, and lying propagandists are hard at work determined to sway outcomes their way, no matter how and at any cost. Why, it's almost as if the Republicans' favorite idols, psychopath Ayn Rand with her child murdering 'ideal man' complex, and the perverted racist Herr Adolf are on the ballot because they hope that sadistic, paternalistic authoritarianism will "win" the day, thereby tossing America's Enlightenment principles of 1776 into the trash bin of history.

But there's an intriguing factoid to remember about America: there are a lot more of us than there are of them!

Multiple horoscopes exist for the City of Washington DC and, if memory serves, the timing of one chart previously posted here (May 3, 1802: incorporation as a city) may be based on a letter written by Thomas Jefferson or simply on historical record, plus, there's a historically timed 'founded' version set for the events of July 16, 1790, a day when transit Saturn in early Aries was strong at Direct Station, yet transit Nemesis and Phaethon were conjunct @00Gemini (hardly a jolly alignment, if I do say so myself).

Meanwhile, the following bi-wheel of charts displayed below, uses neither of those dates, for the inner horoscope shows the Syzygy Moon (prior lunation) of DC's May 3, 1802 incorporation - the New Moon @10Tau54 of May 1, 1802. The reason to use the May 1st chart in the bi-wheel is because the incorporated city's Syzygy Moon will be precisely 'eclipsed' on April 30, 2022 by the 6 North Solar Eclipse @10Tau28 (see 6th house). This eclipsing may be significant or it may be nothing to pay the least bit of attention to these 220 years later!

And yet this synchronicity does time both a Solar and a Lunar Return to the May 1, 1802 Syzygy Moon lunation, suggesting what could be a sort of culmination or fulfillment in relation to Taurean matters (growth, development, valuations, materialism, greed, rigidity, and/or intolerance), that were seeded or planned at the 1802 New Moon. Also involved are relationships and full awareness potentials especially since all eclipses are Uranian and as such tend to uncover hidden factors, disrupt events to the point of causing changes of direction, and/or may activate scandals along with Technology playing its part.

Then considering the abundance of Taurean energies we have here, financial and investment matters are most likely at the top of the cosmic menu, as well as the opposite sign of Scorpio which brings in secrets, spying, control and manipulation, corporatism, plus, death and, hopefully, regeneration:

Even the recent passage in the House of the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Bill is suggested by the April 2022 Eclipse since Taurus rules neck and shoulders - Congress has tried to pass an anti-lynching bill in previous years - so will 2022 bring legislative success? Rascist issues and connections between then and now may also be indicated (for it isn't as if such issues - America's founding flaw - have been adequately dealt with, even at this late date).

And so, if nothing else, a cosmic time link forms between May 1802 and April 2022 (and until the next Solar Eclipse of October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio) so that historical events and conditions of 1802 may be worth considering in light of current political/societal issues and events, along with the themes of the 6 North Eclipse which are penned upon on the image, upper right, such as 'relationship to authority figures, need to take control' and 'accepting commitments due to another's unreliability or illness' (paraphrasing B. Brady). A father's reputation may also be involved.

Eclipse Cycles, Historical Cycles, Cosmic Time Links

The Washington DC Horoscope May 3, 1802 (of incorporation) indicates that transit Saturn in 2023 will conjunct DC's Pluto in Pisces bringing very large events and continuing our government's power and control issues. But first, transit Pluto must creep through the sign of Aquarius which times a period of massive changes and reforms.

Significant 1802 Events include the Judiciary Act of 1802, enacted to reorganize the US federal court system (Judge Ketanji Brown set for SCOTUS bench confirmation by the end of this week! Rascism is involved, of course, because Republican), the opening of West Point Military Academy, the death of Martha Washington, and the discovery of Pallas, asteroid of wisdom, strategy, and the daughter. This probably adds women's issues to the mix, issues you'd think in 2022 we had settled by now.

So in closing, there may be other Cosmic Time Links involved such as:

Does an Ancient Eclipse Link to Trump and the 1/6 Revolt?

As a Saturnian astrologer fond of the phrase "history rhymes" via similarly repeating events rather than "history repeats" precisely, it has come to my attention during a review of my previous research concerning Masonic Grand Commander Albert Pike that the 'MAGA Mob Attack', aka, Trump's Insurrection of January 6, 2021 meant to retain power by overthrowing the US government, contains a whiff or two, possibly an echo - of the ancient Third Servile War of escaped gladiator slaves who battled against the Roman Empire beginning in 073 B.C. in Capua, Italy.

Escaping from the Capuan Gladiator School using kitchen implements ("choppers and spits") due to the betrayal of their plot, a group of slaves, over 70-strong but soon growing, managed to escape from captivity and a two-year revolt was enjoined as they roamed, raided, and pillaged the land. Once freed, three military leaders had been chosen by the group (a militia?), one of which was the slave gladiator famously known as Spartacus.

However, the revolt, which some historians have called a "civil war" intended to capture the city of Rome, ended for the slave-army in total defeat and approximately 11,000 of the revolt's survivors were crucified, all or thousands of them along the Appian Way.

Meanwhile in our day, Herr Trump demands freedom from a duly elected government and is already in process of mounting another challenge to governmental authority meant to re-grasp the reins of power any way he can - unless The Empire prevents and defeats him. Menacingly stirring the simmering pot of insurrection as it nears the boiling point, Trump's incendiary remarks during a recent rally have the Georgia Prosecutor Asking the FBI for Security Help as the flight risk 'teases' a POTUS run in 2024 and promises his insurrectionists 'pardons' (which may never be granted - he's not known for follow-through, and will promise anything in the moment in order to achieve his purpose: suckers!).

The Servile War Saturn and Total Eclipse of 073 BC with the 4 South Eclipse of December 14, 2020

Now admittedly I possess no thematic information concerning the Solar Eclipse of 073 BC as being a member of the 4 South Saros Series (4S themes are penned on the chart - its initial eclipse occurred April 17, 1624 @28Aries - see lower right corner) but what I'm noting here are cosmic time links such as Sun-Moon-Uranus in 073 BC as an echo of the 2022 Midterms Lunar Eclipse in Taurus conjunct Uranus (the "swords vs torches" eclipse), and the fact that 073 BC Saturn Rx @23Sag34, acts as the handle of a Sling shape (like a Bucket but more concentrated) and this denotes the leader of the concentrated planetary energies (actors) directed upon a specific goal (freedom! overthrowing the empire!). Authoritative Saturn's leadership is modified by the Mars-Jupiter Conjunction in Leo which sesqui-squares Saturn so might 073 BC Saturn represent Spartacus while Mars and Jupiter = the other two leaders of the revolt? (Sun-ruled Leo = ego and pride, and Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius = the freedom to range far and wide). Of course, in reality, an actual sling as a weapon reminds us of the small David battling a huge Goliath, yes? Karmic lessons apply.

A Taurus Eclipse Requires a Firm Stand Against Obstacles

My suspicion is that the 073 BC Solar Eclipse @14Tau15 conjunct radical Uranus influenced the Third Servile War (as the first eclipse of the year), an insurrection against the Roman Empire and Army, and that perhaps the eclipse's ancient Saturnian and Taurean energies have been triggered or activated by the difficult 4 South Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 and by zealous Uranus, once again in Taurus. Plus, there are other planetary contacts (ex: 073 BC Venus conjoined by 2021 Mars at a critical 29th degree) with potentials for violent activities by folks who are prodded into taking action without fully understanding the severity of the consequences. Sound familiar?

Yes, slavery is tied up with the 073 BC Eclipse in mid-Taurus, but in the US such vile conditions now rhyme rather than precisely repeating - even though its evil effects continue to haunt us. Yet perhaps we may agree that a case can be made for citing the economic slavery of Predatory Capitalism within American Plutocracy, and for the lucrative trafficking and abuse of human beings being perpetrated in the shadows. Modern society remains encumbered by karmic conditions which must be confronted and dealt with. And as is often said, it's about time, sealed fate notwithstanding.

Then as we see rising in 1st house, 073 BC Neptune @8Gem50 was conjoined in July 1776 by US Uranus (8:55), a planet of freedom, independence, war, and revolt. Such a transit signifies a period when demented Neptunian ideals can mock issues of equality, personal freedom, and what we now call civil rights, while expression of political and social ideals are frustrated; yet there are opportunities for deep insights into societal conditions emerging from the Collective Unconscious. Well, I think they emerged in 1776 and we'd do best in 2022 by continuing to coax them forward - sans governmental overthrow.

On The Nodal Axis of Fated Encounters with The Dragon

Quirkily enough, one karmic Nodal contact is the 073 BC South Node @23Tau06 conjunct puppet master Pluto (with 'Saturn-Pluto' vibes and disrupted social conditions), and both conjunct the natal Midheaven of Herr Trump where vicious star of rage and destruction, Algol, twinkles. Another contact is the Mars-Jupiter Conjunction at IC which conjoins what turned out to be America's 1776 Nodal Axis (6Leo/6AQ). And although undiscovered until 1930, one of the outer karmic planets in 073 BC, slow-moving Pluto, rises with Castor, star of 'crippled limbs, loss, and/or murder' (A. Louis).

Additionally, by using the Placidus house system as done here, we find that karmic conditions which must be dealt with are further identified by the Taurus-Scorpio polarity intercepted across the 6/12 victim-savior axis. Meanwhile, chart-ruler Mercury rising @27Tau59, planet of travel and trickery, makes no applying aspects in the eclipse chart so its sign and house placements are emphasized:

The above Horoscope of the first Solar Eclipse of 073 BC on May 8th, a Total Eclipse, closely mimics some of the planetary positions of our day (exs: Sun-Moon-Uranus in Taurus and Mercury-Pluto; 073 BC Pluto = 073 BC Uranus-Neptune: "The big picture demands a certain course of action; little option to do otherwise" - N. Tyl; this picture repeated by transit in 2017 as: 1993 Uranus-Neptune Conjunction @18Capricorn = 2017 Pluto). Included are other planetary contacts, aka, 'cosmic time links', with the 4 South Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020 manifesting upon the very day of the Electoral College Vote that Herr Trump takes such great exception to and which he tries to ignore by spouting 'The Big Lie' in order to gaslight his followers into perpetrating his dirty work. (And sending him donations.)

And yet the December 14, 2020 4 South lunation occurred @23Sag08 - conjunct Inauguration 2017's 8th house Saturn which represents an 'eclipse' of Trumpian authority and control as revealed in the real world by the Electoral College Vote in favor of Joe Biden. With Trump's Inaugural Saturn eclipsed, accountability for his past lapses of responsibility and lack of authenticity while in office are demanded but instead of accepting Saturnian reality and owning up to his mistakes, he's been beefing about his (Saturnian) loss ever since. A notable lack of karmic progress challenges improvements in the US via 'leader' Trump as America's former representative.

Inauguration 2021 and The Inauguration of Rutherford B. Hayes

By now you're familiar with the controversial, contentious Election of 1876 so let's not belabor its points except to observe that the 2020 Election is proving to be full of controversy and contentiousness as well. Why, it's almost as if history is doing that rhyming thing it very often does. Similar conditions, past and present, suggest that there may be cosmic time links between the two elections: November 7, 1876 and November 3, 2020, plus, between Inauguration 1877 (private oath of office taken in the White House Red Room on March 3, 1877, public oath taken Monday March 5, 1877) and Inauguration 2021 (January 20th).

So as you see, below is a rather messy hand-drawn Horoscope with the 1877 Inauguration, center, in pink, and Inauguration 2021 planets penned around the outside (highlighted in green).

As for cosmic time links between 1877 and 2021 there are several that I won't bore you with, dear reader. Besides, you see the major link near the bottom of the chart in 4th house: the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of Inauguration 1877 in the 4 South Saros Series - and thing is, a 4 South eclipse repeats on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08, the day Electoral College 2020 is scheduled to cast their votes for Biden or for Trump. Then for history rhyming in 2020/2021 and echoing from way back in 1876/1877, we should consider that the contentious 1876 Election (with Sun Scorpio-Moon Leo), well-known for its turbulence, was finally resolved by congressional committee in favor of Republican Mr. Hayes - a committee was formed because of strong accusations against the Electoral College electors - of fraud.

Hints that the US Congress may get involved with the 2020 Election - well, I know you've heard of the possibility and how this might play out and if so, that's one echo from the Hayes era right there.

Plus, social turbulence we already have and few people expect a quick result on Election Night 2020 although who can say at this point? Numbers 'too big to rig' at voting booths across the land could speed up outcomes and yet we know, or perhaps only sense, that election shenanigans, even fraud, may have occurred, and that, with our country's future on the line. Voter suppression tactics by the GOP have been a contentious discussion topic for years, gerrymandering is, or should be, a scandal, interference by foreign actors is nothing new, slowing down mail delivery, and a variety of other tricks must be navigated just to cast our votes. Plus, a deadly virus to make voting risky for life and limb.

Now as you know, the 1877 Oath/s of Office had to be taken under tight security which suggests threats of violence against Mr. Hayes. And with the explosive, violent Mars-Uranus Conjunction of January 20, 2021, yet another potential cosmic time link with 1877 could be argued.

Still, I shall hope for an undisturbed Inauguration 2021 based on clear election results, if not right away, then perhaps by the time voting planet Mercury (turning Direct on November 3rd at 12:49 pm ET) reaches its shadow degree on November 19th and moves speedily forward through the rest of fairness-loving Libra into Scorpio, the sign of regeneration.

Can a Past Eclipse Spotlight 2020 Conditions?

Horoscope: 13 South Solar Eclipse January 9, 1777 10:47:04 am LMT Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Ascendant: "3 Aries" = "A Cameo Profile of a Man in the Outline of His Country"

July 22, 2020: Once again I'm attempting to show that a past Solar Eclipse (January 9, 1777 @19Cap50 in the sinister 13 South Saros Series) can continue to describe conditions and events in the US by way of Secondary Progressions along with the real-time eclipse horoscope itself when triggered by current transits. Yes, I've written about this 'history rhymes' situation previously but today a view of the actual 1777 Solar Eclipse Horoscope may add to the picture in relation to current events and is based on Astrology's day-for-a-year method of progressions.

The horoscope for America I've used for today's Secondary Progressions ('SP') is the July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, Pennsylvania version though of course other versions may be used as well. If you progress the US horoscope to today's date and check out its 'Prenatal Solar Eclipse' ('PE') you'll see 19Cap50 listed, and in real time that's the January 9, 1777 13 South Solar Eclipse you see pictured, above. Naturally, eclipses in Saturn-ruled Capricorn involve control issues, authority figures, and one's relationship to them. Plus, the negative qualities of the sign such as greed, avarice, coldness, ruthless ambition, and selfishness must be avoided if karmic progress is to be made. Obviously, these negative qualities now shown by regressive Authority Figure #1 and his anti-government, anti-constitutional, anti-humanity enablers are blocking the progressive policies that would improve conditions for the American people and would put corporate bad actors back on their heels. However, consistent efforts must be made along with the correct use of resources (eclipse in Earth). Again, the current regime interrupts what should be our progress, plus, with Jupiter opposing the eclipse, ethical and moral standards must guide and be upheld if we wish to succeed in any significant way. In 1777 General Washington possessed such a character. In 2020 we are hampered by certain low characters infesting and sabotaging our country - in a word, traitors. (See chart, lower left corner.)

For pandemic influences, see upper right (deadly Pluto conjunct the karmic South Node) and consider all the diseases that afflicted the Continental Army. Karma is also shown by Neptune and Pluto (a combo with criminal intentions, or, the use of drugs, the occult, or spirituality) for both are at Nodal Degree, an indication of fate at work, along with interceptions across the 6/12 axis of the victim-savior Virgo-Pisces polarity (yet a different house system might mitigate this particular karmic factor). Personally I think it belongs considering current Virgoan-Piscean conditions and the fact that the 6/12 is involved - health, hospitals, military/police/civil servants, karma, hidden enemies, etc, the very concerns we now struggle with.

So as you can see, I've followed my bad habit of squishing a bunch of study notes onto the image (please enlarge or print to read) but below I will add in this text the themes of 13 South Eclipses since my assertion here is that our nation's current conditions and potential events in 2020 are hereby described in part by 13 South themes 'running in the background' of society and basically unconscious. With US finances in turmoil and congressional disputes over bail-out funds, 1777's Jupiter Rx @20Can15, a critical-crisis degree, is significant and opposes the eclipse (19Cap50). In early 2020, a cosmic time link was formed when this degree and planet were 'eclipsed' on January 10, 2020 by a Lunar Eclipse conjunct Castor. Now as you know, fixed stars are most expressive when eclipsed and Gemini Twin Castor suggests either super creativity, a loss, and/or murder. (You can see the January 2020 Lunar Eclipse notated near Jupiter Rx in 4th house.)

Also notated on the chart and conjunct its IC (the Foundation or Basis of the Matter) is a major cosmic time link which also 'knits together' 1777 and 2020: the
Summer Solstice Solar Eclipse of June 21, 2020 @00Can21, a Cardinal World Point of global manifestation, and its eclipse themes which we're now experiencing until the next Solar Eclipse on December 14, 2020 (or up to 14 days prior) @23Sag08 in the 4 South Series.

We should also mention that, although it's not officially a YOD pattern of crisis, turning point, a crossroads, health problems, and/or a karmic spiritual opportunity, the Neptune-North-Node sextile points toward Venus (26AQ34 in the karmic 12th house) which also happens to conjunct US natal Moon (We The People). The Neptune-NN pair relates to a lack of community spirit and their sextile of subtle evasion forms the base of a YOD for those who use points or angles other than planets. YOD or not, we have potentials of some midpoint pictures to consider which include Trump's natal Mars (26Leo) for it opposes 1777 Venus and US natal Moon (1776):

Neptune-NN = Venus: misconceptions about other people's relationships and associations; wrong liaisons; unfaithfulness; with Moon: lack of adaptability and community spirit; disappointments; with Mars: disharmony; inability to adjust to circumstances or conditions; association with sick people (R. Ebertin).

Now here are the themes (via Brady's Predictive Astrology) of the 13 South Solar Eclipse that I believe now have influence upon society as shown by cosmic time links and by 2020 transits, particularly the Capricorn trio of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto:

13 South Themes: 'sinister energies; urge to expand which may be frustrated; loss; separation; constitutional crisis and possible dismissal of a leader' (General Washington avoided dismissal but will Trump?); and/or 'evacuation' (Brady). To 'evacuation' I regretfully have added, evictions since many Americans are being unfairly threatened with it by a corrupt administration and a Republican-led Senate so often derelict in its duty.

As for Trump's violent intentions against peaceful protesters, you see notated one factor: Ascendant = Uranus-Pluto: 'applications of force' (Ebertin). By transit, the current position of the Uranus-Pluto midpoint in mid-Pisces opposes and activates the Great Conjunctions in mid-Virgo of revolutionary planets Uranus and Pluto 3 times during the mid-1960s and the Civil Rights Movement and again we see street protests and instigators sent to disrupt the peace and muddy issues.

Yet if we look up and beyond our earthly trials for only a moment, we may find the Sabian Symbol of the 1777 Solar Eclipse degree of '20 Capricorn': "A Hidden Choir Singing", a lovely word picture described by Marc Edmund Jones as, "a symbol of the eternal music of the spheres" and its positive expression of: "a unique gift for establishing a common interest and making it a power for the good of all"!

America, Trump, and Eclipses in The New Millennium

On June 21, 2013 the New Millennium Horoscope with chart details and snarky comments (as usual) were published here on SO'W. Feeling this is fair since politics and politicians so often engage in snarkiness themselves, I shall again post the New Millennium Horoscope now that Donald Trump is on the political scene and will add his planetary links to the chart which, imho, are revealing concerning current topics and events in America 2019 under the haphazard 'leadership' of chaos-lover Trump and the swamp creatures he's installed in order to hollow out and transform the US government. As I hope you can see, Trump's natal planets are highlighted in lavender around the outside of the chart and a few solar eclipse notes (highlighted in red) are also entered upon the chart, upper right. Note that the December 26, 2019 Solar Eclipse @4Cap07 activates the Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') of the New Millennium so the themes of 2 South and 3 South and their similar events may or may not transpire as 2019 ends and our days fade into 2020. Eclipse themes are like computer programs running in the background of our lives, some stronger than others!

History Rhymes Again for Eclipses Affect History

Of course, if we use history as a guide and the mistakes of the past as our teacher we might consider events of the years in which solar eclipses in these two Saros series occurred (aka, 'cosmic time links'). For 2 South they are: 1910, 1928, 1946 (Herr Trump is born), 1964, 1982 (the year of a Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @27Lib36--our current Airy cycle until January 12, 2020), {2000}, {and recently on Jan 5, 2019 @15Cap25 = the 116th Congress--'joining unusual new groups'}. For 3 South the years are: 1911, 1929 (no one likes 1929 for obvious economic reasons), 1947, 1965, 1983, 2001, and {December 26, 2019: coming soon to a Christmas near you).

As for Trump's planetary links to the New Millennium chart, his natal Mercury (8Can51) tweets and propagandizes across the globe at its Midheaven, the most visible Angle in any horoscope and The Goal Point. Rising we find Trump's speculating, inflating, grand-scheming trio of Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter stationary and we don't need Astrology to describe the pompous, air-filled, conman administration of kleptocrats under which we languish while Herr Trump separates families, cages children, and makes his white supremacist loyalties plainly known.
