With Midterms 2022 quickly approaching, it's typical that the US economy and household budgets are on most Americans' minds, thanks in large part to inflationary price-gouging by corporations (many of which funded death-cult leader and seditionist) Trump's January 6th coup attempt, ongoing.

Such financial schemes are partially described as a Jupiter-Neptune affair of grand schemes and speculation, with their new and current cycle beginning on April 12, 2022 @23Pis59.

Then notably, when wealth-hoarding power-player Pluto Stations on October 8, 2022 @26Cap06 (in process of completing America's first-ever Pluto Return), transit Neptune will still be spreading its wide-girthed gaseousness all over the dreamy 23Pisces+ position in its April 12, 2022 conjunction horoscope. Illusion, delusion, and fanaticism are indicated along with a search for truth. And from these cosmic influences, society may experience a continuation of unreasonable plans, or perhaps a transformation - or collapse - of them.

Yet whether we place the Pluto-Chiron Conjunction of December 1999 upon our US 1776 Ascendant or not - their 60-year cycle relating to Collective consciousness and a mass need - the troubling conditions are expressing loudly in this, the not-so New Millennium, a new cycle announced by the Pluto-Chiron Conjunction and in other ways, so that we now find unfettered Plutocracy of the economic royalist class and its enablers shoving America and the US government into a downward spiral of tyranny and misery.

Now as you know, multiple foreign actors are 'in on' the big picture with the expected objective of removing the US from global leadership on behalf of Russia and China (countries that are unable to reach such elevated positions by their merits so they have to cheat to gain advantages - like Trump). And yes, this is a topic fussed about multiple times here on SO'W so I won't repeat such fusses in this, my Friday post of the week, except to mention that atomic and nuclear concerns are also within the realms of Pluto-Chiron.

Suffice to say in closing, it is imperative that every American Vote in the Midterms Elections of November 2022, and again in the November 2024 elections, despite any and all obstacles.

Because as Thom Hartmann and multiple others are saying, democracy is on the ballot in November 2022 and in 2024.

Therefore, when it comes to rational pro-constitutional citizens, the crushing of our democratic Republic under the boot of brutal authoritarian fascist dictators with neo-Nazism on their evil minds is simply not an option.

While combing through SO'W this morning looking for a different topic than what I found, a post displaying the Pentagon's 1942 horoscope surrounded by the 12 North Solar Eclipse Horoscope of January 15, 2010, turned out to be interesting, even useful to today's news events. Not just because this week's public discourse includes the query: were Pentagon officials involved in or complicit with Trump's January 6, 2021 coup attempt against the US government?

See USA Today's Pentagon 'wiped' phones of top Defense officials despite request for Jan 6 texts and emails. Sounds like more seditionists are trying to hide their tracks. It's a thing.

But the post is interesting also because the 12 North Eclipse of 2010 occurred @25Cap01 within the sensitized degree zone of governmental Capricorn which has seen karmic planets Saturn and Pluto working it over pretty good by transit of late. And as you know, the two planets even met on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 to begin a new 33-year cycle of their harsh, compressive energies. Plus, the later degrees of the Cancer-Capricorn axis can have a tendency to treat people as objects (if such influences are unmitigated by other factors), and this is besides the sign's obvious implications in the realms of government, law, and business - some positive, some negative.

Then there's the handy switcheroo manipulated under the FDR administration when US Inaugurations were shifted from the first week in March, to the 20th of January (or other, when the 20th falls on Sunday), effective as of 1937, the change which placed Saturn-ruled Capricorn at Midheaven, the Goal Point of our inaugural charts and presidencies. Of course, included is US 1776 Pluto, and this signals the authoritarian democracy vs fascism dictatorship issues coming to a head in 2022 with America's first-ever Pluto Return, exact three times this very year beginning in February.

Meanwhile, our opportunity to vote in the 2022 Midterms comes in November when we'll attempt to choose what kind of government we want despite thugs and ruffians of a Trumpian persuasion, and the massive, nationwide cheating and rigging campaign that the GOP must perpetrate in order to shove through their anti-societal candidates.

Now commentators have identified the year 2009 as the beginning of anti-government racist organizations such as militia groups and the 'tea party', activated by the 2009 Inauguration of Barack Obama whose natal Saturn in Capricorn wasn't despotic enough for them, nor was he Caucasian enough.

Karmic Signposts via 'Wild Cards of the Universe'

Many moons ago in August 2018, we discussed the three Total Great American Eclipses of 1878, 2017, and 2024 and now I'm finally getting around to writing a brief overview of the three eclipses in relation to America, primarily via the signs of the Zodiac in which the three 'Cosmic Blink' Eclipses (aka, 'Wild Cards of the Universe') have and will manifest, plus, any contacts or cosmic time links with planets, points, or stars that may be 'eclipsed'.

Since the three paths of totality cutting cross our country have been previously mentioned in various posts, I won't repeat my notes here, but you're invited to scroll down the sidebar of SO'W and type 'Eclipses' or another label into the Search field such as the Saros Series of the three which are: 6 South, 1 North, and 8 North. Of course, employing a search engine of your choice can also turn up path of totality information using dates of the eclipses listed, below.

Now as you know, the significance of the three eclipses that directly affect America is in relation to historical events occurring under the influence that a disruptive Uranian eclipse can engender for 6 months or more after manifestation, and often for up to two weeks prior while the earlier eclipse themes remain in force, but are weakening.

Sensitive and critical degrees can factor in, and obviously, other cosmic conditions and earthly events during their particular years of occurrence are worth considering for a more comprehensive view which, in this case, means years 1878, 2017, and 2024. Meanwhile, Total eclipses have the strongest effects of all particularly in locations directly in one's path of totality. However, my use of eclipses tends to be mainly degree-based, and notably, New Moons and Full Moons sometimes behave in Uranian fashion similar to Solar and Lunar Eclipses. One way to tell if this happens is when a mere lunation such as a Full Moon reveals inconvenient facts and/or activates a change of course in earthly events!

Leo, Leo, then Aries: Major Sun-Mars Vibrations

6 South Solar Eclipse July 29, 1878 @6Leo33 and 1 North Solar Eclipse of August 21, 2017 @28Leo52: both are Leo Solar Eclipses spotlighting Leonine issues of leadership and authority. Difficulties must be approached with resolve for half-hearted solutions gain little or nothing. Ruled by the Sun, positive traits of the sign of Leo suggests self-confidence, vigor, and natural leadership ability, however, negative traits such as self-centeredness, egocentricity, pomposity, vanity, ostentation, and overblown pride create stumbling blocks to karmic progress (R. Lineman).

In addition, Leo Eclipses denote karmic relationships with father figures and/or offspring, so I'll let you decide, dear reader, who these negative Leonine traits describe and who has blocked America's progress, particularly since 2017. Hint: an entire overweening political party is involved, plus, their figurehead.

Eclipse Contacts and Cosmic Links

Of note is that the 6 South Eclipse of 1878 conjoined US 1776 North Node of future direction, while the 1 North Eclipse of 2017 conjoined royal Regulus with its 'success if revenge is avoided' caution - conjunct the natal Ascendant and rising Mars of the orange seditionist (who foolishly gazed directly at the eclipse without safety glasses). Significantly, 1 North is the "Mother of All Eclipses" Saros Series which heralded the New Millennium, and can be called the 'Nostradamus Eclipse' which manifested on August 11, 1999 @19Leo with its Fixed Grand Cross of prophetic difficulties (affecting the entire world, not just the US with terror and alarm). Also with Leo, child abuse issues and anti-child-abuse campaigns are also be indicated (as they have been), along with laws concerning these issues with dramatic Leo also being a sign associated with lawyers and legal affairs. Then we might also add misogyny against women and abortion rights to the issues since Leo is the sign of 'romance' and the pregnancies that can result, and affected by several other cosmic factors that are beyond the scope of this post.

So! Next up will be the 8 North Eclipse of April 8, 2024 @19Ari24 precisely conjunct centaur Chiron (@19Ari24). The presence of wounded healer (or, blindspot) Chiron at that degree suggests several possibilities for America, not the least of which is due to the nearness of our nation's Chiron Return (@20Ari08, a three-fer), a period when moral values and higher ethics may resurface due to Chiron's association with roots, or even 'priesthood' - and in Mars-ruled Aries, Chiron suggests damage to our nation's sense of self-identity. So for me, if Enlightenment principles of 1776 are part of the resurfacing picture, so be it! Because it seems promising that 8 North themes include 'new-found inspiration, inventiveness, insights, visions, and vivid dreams' (B. Brady). Of course, how practical such solutions may be must remain to be seen.

Now another factor in today's overview is this: that, because there are three Total eclipses, it's possible to think of them as facets within an ongoing process similar to the direct-retrograde-direct phases of planets in their orbits - you know, the denial-acceptance-solution model. But this concept I'll leave for you, dear reader, to engage with on that level or not, as you wish.

The good news is that if this solution-based model applies, year 2024 may turn out better for our nation than many folks now fear due to recent stresses in society such as the activities of saboteurs and seditionists, both foreign and domestic. For if We The People make it through the period affected by the 2024 Great American Eclipse and its effects, a measure of relief can ease the stresses and strains our nation has been victimized and exploited by for decades, even centuries (since America has had enemies from the start), and our democratic Republic, tattered as it may or may not be, will live on.

Yet realistically, we know that first we must deal with the fact that 2024 is a Presidential Election year in the US, and cheaters, election-riggers, and lying propagandists are hard at work determined to sway outcomes their way, no matter how and at any cost. Why, it's almost as if the Republicans' favorite idols, psychopath Ayn Rand with her child murdering 'ideal man' complex, and the perverted racist Herr Adolf are on the ballot because they hope that sadistic, paternalistic authoritarianism will "win" the day, thereby tossing America's Enlightenment principles of 1776 into the trash bin of history.

But there's an intriguing factoid to remember about America: there are a lot more of us than there are of them!

Mars-Pluto and The PACT Act of 2022

Can there be a more appropriate expression of the destructive Mars-Pluto duo than burn (Mars) pits (Pluto)?

Below is a DC Horoscope of the PACT Act vote taken in Congress on June 16, 2022 at 11:34 am edt intended to address the funding of war veterans' healthcare due to the effects of breathing fumes from burn pits. Mercury-ruled Virgo rises with Thuban ('to protect or make a treasure') and voting planet Mercury in changeable Gemini (conjunct Midheaven 'MC', the Goal) is chart and vote ruler. Mercury makes one applying aspect (see lower left corner of the chart) and that's a sextile with Jupiter suggesting potentials for clear thinking or thinkers, news about politics, religion, education, and/or relatives (especially fathers-in-law - wonder who?). Additional issues may concern international finances, plus, business opportunities may arise in any of these areas. Of course, wherever there's mutable Gemini there can be duplicity, and changed minds - or votes:

Senate Republicans Have Voted against The PACT Act.

As you see in the horoscope, financier-corporatist-politician-pastor and The General Jupiter (highlighted in green, as usual, and ruling 4th and 7th houses with the Mars-Pluto midpoint conjunct Descendant and the suggestion of zealots and fanatics) forms an inconjunct with the Ascendant (and with Thuban) which identifies the excuse of an adjustment to the bill that Republicans are attempting to use to muck things up for Democrats (inconjunct = adjustment - which didn't happen!), plus, the aspect suggests sanctimonious, self-righteous, and/or pompous people with a burning need to impress others with their importance. Meanwhile, they tend to misjudge people and/or circumstances, and under the influence of self-deception, can sabotage their own positions.

Many other planetary factors are nestled within the horoscope but it's Sunday evening here, thunder storms are in the area, so I'll leave them for those who are curious enough to enlarge and read the chart, or set up one of her own.

My emphasis is on the pairings of Moon-Pluto (zealots, fanatics leading a BOWL shape = advocates for a cause) and Mars-Pluto (people disabled in war; weaponry), a nod to 2022 Mercury conjunct 1775 Uranus (news or talks about carnage; battle noises; destruction), plus, radical reformer Uranus @17Taurus (highlighted in lavender, as usual), and of course, America's Mars-Pluto Cycle which began on December 24, 1775 @25Cap35, within the sensitized zone of governmental Capricorn - and conjunct US Inaugural Midheavens, past and present, and US 1776 Pluto, now in process of returning to his position.

Mercury-Saturn: dull, distrustful, dishonest people

In a flurry of cosmic synchronicity, today's New Moon @5Leo39 which perfected at 1:55 pm edt conjuncts the 1933 Syzygy Moon of the Nazi Regime (5Leo34, a New Moon in 10th house), its horoscope showing malevolent star Algol rising along with wounded Chiron Rx, angry Capulus - and the natal Midheaven of Herr Trump whose goal (MC) is to claw his way back into power and complete his dark vision of "American carnage".

Now my suspicion is that folks aware of world history can agree that carnage, brutality, and violence were Nazi specialties in the 1930s and 1940s - and the current crop of neo-nazis and fascists are determined to have their chance to rumble again if gullible American voters allow paternalistic Republicans to march back in charge, goose-stepping as they go.

However, another go-round with the orange monster, or one modeled in his image, would be more brutal than the first, so don't be a chump! Because the grass is definitely not greener on the nazi side of the fascist fence.

So as per reader's request and inspired by today's Leo New Moon, here's the Nazi Regime 1933 chart (see tail of a Kite Venus in Saturn-ruled Capricorn's 'obsolete views', highlighted in blue with Venus the ruler of the chart):

Now actually, the Nazi Regime Horoscope, shown above, is the same as the Horoscope of the Third Reich of January 30, 1933, Berlin, Germany but a republish of the 1933 chart has been triggered by today's Leo New Moon which also happens to conjoin America's Leo North Node of July 1776. And as you know, a Leo North Node inclines toward fun stuff such as entertainments and big parties, popularity, plus, a measure of organizational talent, but can also indicate speculation, pride, and pompous people such as Mike Pompeo now reported to be in discussion with the J6 Committee in regards to his possible testimony.

Our Election Day November 5, 2024 Up For Grabs

And now a word about Election Day 2024 planets contacting the Nazi Regime Horoscope. Comparing the charts suggests that, among other influences, it will be a Chiron-Uranus kind of day with 2024 Uranus Rx @25Tau42 conjunct the 1933 Chiron Rx rising, the 1933 Ascendant, and Trump's goal-oriented natal Midheaven where vicious Algol cruelly twinkles and screams. Red ketchup thrown furiously against a wall and dripping down is quite a descriptive picture of Algol-style rage.

Then further emphasizing the Uranus-to-Chiron duo on US Election Day 2024 will be 2024 Chiron Rx @20Ari14 conjunct 1933 Uranus (19Ari53), a double emphasis.

Additionally, we should note that 2024 Chiron Rx @20Ari14 is basically America's 1776 position of Chiron with its "A Pugilist Entering the Ring" symbol. In a previous post, I've likened the revolutionary Uranus-Chiron duo as chaos creators so I'm recommending to you a relic of a post from December 2005, published due to my constant dissent against the Bush-Cheney regime: Chiron-Uranus Types in Government (sans edits!). If you think of the orange menace and his comrades while reading, it's no coincidence.

Then for the curious, here's another post displaying a DC Horoscope of the first of three US Chiron Returns which occurs on April 20, 2024 a few days after the third of three Great American Eclipses. This eclipse will be in the 8 North Saros Series of vivid dreams and visions, and its path of totality will "split" America from the Southwest to the Northeast. Add this to the path of totality cut from Oregon to South Carolina by the August 21, 2017 Great American Eclipse which results in America divided into quadrants.

So yes, as most Americans agree, 2024 will be a pivotal year for America, a crossroads kind of year in fact, and on this we surely must necessarily agree.

Autumn EQ 2022 w/ Uranus-NN Politics

As we learned near the conclusion of the July 21st J6 Hearing (horoscope shown), the J6 Select Committee to investigate scofflaw seditionist Trump are planning to hold additional J6 Public Hearings come September due to an abundance of new information. This time frame on a cosmic level naturally spotlights Autumn Equinox 2022, the DC Horoscope of which may be viewed here.

Have a peek at the chart if you haven't, because a stark image of the July 31, 2022 conjunction of rebel planet of anarchy Uranus conjunct the North Node of destiny precisely rises in the September 2022 horoscope. Sudden new associations and/or upsetting events are indicated when this pair conjoins the Ascendant which suggests such potentials for the Autumn season. Unexpected changes, radical reforms, and riots or revolutions to effect such changes are some of the possibilities.

Now it's true that I've fussed here on SO'W in plenty of posts and elsewhere about the reformist implications of the 'radical reactionary' Uranus-NN combination, but I'm doing so again since the pairing is basically being shoved in our faces these days of extreme zealotry by a caring Cosmos. Certainly it's a timing issue, with the duo containing something worth paying attention to, as meetings (NN) with unusual, erratic, or upsetting individuals (Uranus) increase within the Collective (you know who I mean). Why, even astrologers or new age promoters may turn up here or there!

Meanwhile, it seems as if the October 25, 2022 6 South Solar Eclipse and the April 20, 2023 7 North Solar Eclipse (shown as dual charts, above) hitting our fractured society with more Uranian 'Culture War' wedge issues and propaganda may act like punches in the jaws of Constitutional Government, democracy, and human rights (7 North is the same series that brought the seditionists' 1861 Civil War, eclipse chart, above). For we know that all eclipses are Uranian in nature for their ability to disrupt events, trigger scandals, suddenly reveal secrets, or even cause complete changes in the course of human events. In October 2022, it's a repeat of the 6 South Eclipse as on August 31, 1932 @8Virgo, what I term the "Nazis Rise to Power" Eclipse, while the 7 North Eclipse of April 2023 repeats from February 1932, what I've been compelled to label the Fascism Rising Eclipse (@5Pisces). These difficult cosmic energies describe the period from 2022 into 2023, their themes running in the background of society. As Above, So Below.

So can the erratic Uranian implications of the two eclipses be any clearer?

Not that history will repeat precisely in 2022 to 2023, for only neo-nazis and fascists prefer current events to repeat as in those horrific days when Hitlerian psychopaths ran amok. But wait - they're running amok as I type! For another cosmic signpost showing up at a crossroad on America's path is that the Midterms 2022 Lunar Eclipse @16Tau01 conjunct radical reactionary planet Uranus triggers the passionate Venus-Mars conjunction of the Austrian psychopath: midpoint picture = "erratic shows of anger; a need for independence" (Munkasey). And in Politics or Business, "satisfaction from fighting or recklessness" is part of the Venus-Mars duo.

So after decades of preparation and increased funding, scofflaw seditionists are determined to fulfill the threat of a vile authoritarian dystopia for America, because after the US succumbs, they figure that the whole world will tumble under their evil spell once the global model for democracy and freedom is ruined for all, its glow of inspiration and hope dimmed and whimpering. Similar to H*tler's dream of building Germania, it's their vision of a One World Government! However, only the persistent rejection through word and deed of the 1930s/40s model of brutality will be sufficient as a Blue Tsunami of voters must show up to Vote in November 2022 and November 2024.

The first Director of the US Secret Service William Patrick Wood was born March 11, 1820 in Alexandria, Virginia with a strong trio of Mercury-North-Node-Saturn @1Aries. He was tapped to lead the US Secret Service created by President Andrew Johnson's Executive Order after the Assassination of President Abraham Lincoln in April 1865, and the new agency was tasked with a mission to squelch counterfeit currency which was depleting the value of real currency. This was not a good look for America or for the American people already under much duress due to the cuss'ed Civil War and the hardship and misery that any war brings to a populace.

Formed under the wings of the US Treasury Department (itself created by Congress on September 1, 1789 and first helmed by the illustrious Alexander Hamilton), the Secret Service is now headed by Trump appointee James Murray who's in the news these days due to certain events of January 6, 2021, and the agency's deleted texts which may have been little more than personal messages, more private than compromising. But that's an ongoing scandal to be further belabored as the year goes on.

So for that and other reasons, I thought perhaps a Horoscope for the US Secret Service could be usefully displayed here on Stars Over Washington although only a 'noon' chart is in my files. In untimed cases like this, I tend to look at the planets from their earliest positions on that date to their latest, with a noon chart in between. You'll find the range of positions of Sun and Moon listed, below the chart.

So here's an image of the agency's noon horoscope, plus, the 24-hour scope of planetary positions ranging from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm on July 5, 1865 when the US Secret Service became operative in order to root out law-breaking counterfeiters, then eventually went on to become the multi-pronged organization it is today including the protection of the president:

And since mundane Saturn signifies responsibility, accountability, managerial ability, soberness, laws, legalities, government, and such (and is exalted in Libra), you may find the current three-fer dates of the Secret Service's Saturn Return/s of interest: 1. November 11, 2011; 2. May 12, 2012 (Rx); 3. July 28, 2012 (President Obama). Standing out is the 1865 Saturn-North-Node Conjunction which adds to the agency's imperatives for responsible teamwork, a silent demeanor, and contacts with authoritative individuals; plus, Saturnian boundaries and rules must be observed (or should be). Additionally, 1865 Saturn conjuncts asteroid Sisyphus suggesting a picture of a strong determination to complete difficult tasks which must be done over and over. For me, a lack of vacations for agents is one potential that comes to mind.
