Eclipses, Truth Tackling, Congress, and the FBI

With Director James Comey and the FBI under something of a congressional microscope these days it seems the still-current September 1, 2016 Solar Eclipse @9Vir21 has been very active within the Collective in more ways than one. Its 'truth tackling' theme is operative though the American people may wonder if such a noble quest is in need of cleansing since transiting Neptune @10Pisces (planet of deceit, disguise, and dissolution) opposes the eclipse and muddies issues via distraction, insinuation, and outright lies. Subterfuge, spying, sabotage, and hacking are on various agendas these days and the perpetrators are not all based in the USA. And if the undermining of yet another of America's institutions (ex: the FBI) is one of their objectives, the plan is working quite well for public scrutiny is more scathing than what congress members are fitfully dishing out.

And as Hillary met with the FBI last year concerning her emails, I wondered if the 19 North Solar Eclipse would manifest early. (Tap or click and you'll find a link to a post concerning the FBI natal chart and the 19 North eclipse with its 'realism' and 'truth' themes which are background influences in force until the next Solar Eclipse on February 26, 2017--or within two weeks prior to that date; there is also a Lunar Eclipse @22Leo due on February 10th which we must soon discuss).

All this to say that the current Virgo Solar Eclipse (Virgo, sign of discrimination, purification, and criticism) in the 19 North Saros Series resonates strongly with the Comey-directed agency since 19 North is the Prenatal Eclipse of the FBI which was created on July 26, 1908. Nowhere can I locate an exact or approximate hour the agency came into force so noon on that date (Washington, DC) is used to set up a natal horoscope for our domestic spies. Formed during a Uranus-Neptune opposition, the agency formed during a period when one ideology was replacing another and I think most historians would agree that major shifts in our nation's goals and direction took place during the first years of the 20th century. Example: President Wilson campaigned on a 'peace platform' yet secretly pledged America into World War I, the 'war to end all wars' which, as we now know, was actually the war to start all wars, as planned by the racketeering big bankers of the day.

Note that the 'Federal Reserve Bank' of the US was secretly created during those years in order to force its credit and usury systems upon the US government and the American people--once the Panic of 1907 was engineered to make such a change seem necessary to the public.

Now there's that pesky 19 North again--helping us see things as they really are rather than what we previously thought they were! Apparently, 19 North is a handy lens of clarity through which to see through propaganda and how the American people have so often been duped into accepting banker-engineered wars and now, a presidential campaign and 'election' full of lies, fraud, innuendo, and--as it now seems--interference by foreign governments. Yes, opposing Neptune in its own sign of Pisces is at work dissolving the US election system and the government that goes with it.

And I don't know about you but personally I'm tired of the media-fueled 'debate' of distraction from real issues over why Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election. She lost because the Electoral College selected Donald Trump to play a presidential role he's ill suited for in spite of the populist campaign promises he had, and has, little if any intention of fulfilling. So thanks for nothin', Federal Bureau of Investigation, your "cabal within" played a large part in the current political drama with Neptunian flair and ideological zeal in the ongoing plan to take over America and rule the world. After all, 2017's transit Pluto @18Capricorn = 1993's Uranus-Neptune conjunction/s: *the big picture demands a certain course of action, very little option to do otherwise.

Eclipse themes: Brady's Predictive Astrology.

The Sept 1, 2016 Solar Eclipse manifesting early as Hillary meets the FBI

Although it's only July 3, 2016, there have been a myriad of early manifestations of the realism/tackling the truth/seeing an old situation for what it really is themes contained within the September 1, 2016 Solar Eclipse @9Virgo. One is an article (based on a book) about seeing the Invisible Hand of Washington for what it really is. And the hand is rather crabby and grabby, as you may imagine.

As previously mentioned, the upcoming 19 North Solar Eclipse in Virgo, a Zodiacal sign intimately associated with the founding of Masonic Washington DC, will provide background influence for both Election Day 2016 and Inauguration 2017 as their 'Pre-Natal Eclipse Saros Series' (aka, PE).

However, the July RNC and DNC will both fall under the auspices of the current 18 South Solar Eclipse which occurred on March 9th @18Pis55. Its themes include anguished endings/separations/partings but new situations lead to positive outcomes. It will be interesting to see how the political conventions turn out with such a background influence--and how Hillary Clinton fares after her 'interview' with the FBI on Saturday (7.2.16). Astrologically things didn't look overly negative for her imho--quite positive indicators actually, and with interviewing, testifying Mercury out-of-bounds, she's probably in the political, financial, and social realms of untouchable. That's if confronting Mars @23Scorpio conjoining her natal South Node, a Saturnian point of separation and neurosis, only shows her again meeting (SN) with law officials (Mars) of the FBI.

Perhaps the September 19N Solar Eclipse with its 'truth tackling' ability will aid the outcome of her email server (Benghazi) scandal and no charges will be filed against the 2016 candidate who has asserted that she's 'the outsider' in the race because she would be the first-ever woman president--and lady Venus as Evening Star in November requires that an outsider is the victor!

Harry Truman's NSA and Pluto's Covert Actions

Today as I consider the natal horoscope of the National Intelligence Agency (NSA) and its draconian collection of Americans' phone call and email data along with the natal chart of President Harry Truman, I think back to a few snippets that were posted here in October 2010, the gist of which actually concerns all three branches of surveillance and covert actions in the USA: the CIA, the FBI, and the NSA:

(GlobalResearch) – By assigning covert action roles to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), it is as if the White House and Congress had legitimized the Ku Klux Klan to operate globally. That’s because the CIA today resembles nothing so much as the “Invisible Empire” of the KKK that once spread terror across the South and Midwest. Fiery crosses aside, this is what the CIA is doing globally.

Allowing it to operate in secret literally gives the CIA the mythical Ring of Gyges. In Plato’s Republic, the owner of the ring had the power to become invisible at will. As Wikipedia puts it, Plato “discusses whether a typical person would be moral if he did not have to fear the consequences of his actions.” The ancient Greeks made the argument, Wikipedia says, that “No man would keep his hands off what was not his own when he could safely take what he liked out of the market, go into houses and lie with any one at his pleasure, kill or release from prison whom he would, and in all respects be like a god among men.” The CIA, like Hitler’s Gestapo and Stalin’s NKVD before it, has provided modern man the answer to this question. Its actions illuminate why all criminal entities, from rapists and bank robbers, to Ponzi scheme swindlers and murderers, cloak themselves in secrecy.

There are innumerable examples of how American presidents have authorized criminal acts without public discussion that the preponderant majority of Americans would find reprehensible. Example: it was President Lyndon Johnson who ordered the CIA to meddle in Chile’s election to help Eduardo Frei become president. If they had known, U.S. taxpayers might have objected to such a use of their hard-earned money to influence the outcome of another country’s elections. But the public is rarely let in on such illegal foreign policy decisions.

A Few Astro-Notes Concerning the NSA and Its Father, Harry Truman

The NSA formed when one of our Freemason Presidents, Harry Truman, signed a memorandum on October 24, 1952 at 10:45 am EST Washington DC; ASC 22Sag35, MC 28Sco55; 8th house Sun 1Sco10, Moon 11Cap37 conjunct 12th cusp of Politics, Karma, Self-Undoing, and Secret Enemies. Midpoint: Sun-Saturn = Neptune: inner peculiarities; mental, emotional, physical crises. Pluto 23Leo02 squared Harry Truman's natal Sun (18Tau39) denoting possible coercion and manipulation via threats to his power position and influence. Although, as a high ranking Freemason, our 33rd president may have been happily in cahoots with the formation of such an agency for the sake of the eventual implementation of Global Government. Leo and Taurus are, after all, Fixed signs of rigidity.

Plus, we must note that Truman was born under a Mercury-Pluto conjunction in very early Gemini, ruled by Mercury, planet of the senses such as sight and hearing. This resonates with America's natal Mercury-Pluto opposition of total surveillance and dealing with, hiding, and wielding secrets. Curiously, considering the current (staged!) debate on the Patriot Act, the May 20, 2012 Solar Eclipse @00Gem conjoined Truman's Pluto (00:24) and Mercury (1Gem16 Rx, both in natal 8th house of the Occult, Transformation, Corporatism, and Death--Harry did drop the first nuclear bomb though it had already been sanctioned by FDR) in the 14 South Series contains Mercury-Pluto themes of success once obsessive ideas are finally accepted (Brady). Not by me--I don't accept them. Do you? Let it sunset!

The 14S eclipse of 2012 was a major turning point for global society and manifested upon the sensitive degree of a Fixed Star in the constellation Pleiades, Alcyone (keywords: something to cry about and mystical but judgmental). Note: scroll a bit and type 'Eclipses' into the sidebar Search field and you'll find the May 20, 2012 horoscope set for Washington DC on the list.

Now at Truman's NSA signing, another transit relating to ego and goals of Truman's Sun is that transit Jupiter was Rx and in process of conjoining his natal Sun, a time of overconfidence when a culmination of something begun about 12 years before is being reached--in or around 1940 for Truman; this endeavor needed to be either elevated to a higher level or discontinued at that time (1952). A greater attainment of knowledge (ex: spying) is a major part of this Sun-Jupiter picture. Additionally, Jupiter nears Truman's natal Neptune (20Tau41--a Sun-Neptune conjunction for hiding-in-plain-sight-yet-veiled Harry) indicating a time of pretense, illusion, delusion, paranoia, and fanaticism. Sounds exactly like Washington DC in 2015, doesn't it?!

Since the attacks of 9/11/01, we've watched as the agency's anti-constitutional nature has grown and expanded since 1952 and most people agree that the NSA's dependence upon Pluto's cloak of invisibility has been undemocratic from the start.

As for the (June 1, 2015 midnight) sunset provision within the US Patriot Act (section 215), an Act that purports to legalize the massive data collection of US citizens' communications for no logical reason, transit Pluto remains in the neighborhood of the NSA's natal Moon in Capricorn bringing potentials for a deeper transformation through publicity and public scrutiny than the agency is comfortable with, intense turmoil within its own ranks and on Capitol Hill (thanks to Senators Rand Paul's and Ron Wyden's objections to the NSA's massive data collection aimed at innocent Americans as the agency misses finding real needles in real-problem haystacks because of an obsession with knowing it all and using personal info against us later), and their over-zealousness which may cause loss of at least some of their power and control--it is to be hoped for the sake of our right to privacy.

Not that they won't continue surveillance of the innocent under another guise...

They Lied, Innocent People Died

The History Channel gives a few basic details on the founding and early history of the FBI if you're curious. And you might be since a current headline has appeared that the Justice Department admits that the FBI gave flawed evidence during criminal trials for the last 20 years concerning hair samples tested by their DNA unit.

Of course, we've seen FBI confessions in the news before as with their clumsy use of wiretaps in 2005 (oops! wrong number!) and in 2007 with Patriot Act screw-ups (aka, abuse of power). Search and ye shall find more such confessional headlines though we must wonder if any improvements have been made.

1908 Meets 2015: Some Erroneous FBI Testimony Resulted in Executions

Now the agency, whose official genesis is timed for July 26, 1908, has again admitted mistakes that led to wrongful convictions as a review of approximately 268 cases between 1985 and 2000 have shown. And astrologers who like to consider history and politics through the lens of Astrology may note that a major transit is now in process: spying Pluto has conjoined off and on the FBI's natal Uranus (14Cap09), ruled by controlling, governmental, law-abiding Saturn.

So with the explosive Uranus-Pluto duo being societal and generational in nature and relating to federal employment and programs, this meeting of planetary titans--2015 Pluto to 1908 Uranus--marks a period when issues of individual freedom emerge (ex: wrongful convictions revealed), the power of government transforms (or reforms? US soon entered WWI after the agency's creation), technological advances apply (civilian populations bombed from airplanes; poison gases), and the government is made to yield to the people it (supposedly) serves--'mistakes' were made. Perhaps we should note that the Internet now makes FBI 'mistakes' more visible to the public. And of course, reformer planet Uranus is America's 'totem planet' of revolution, war, protest, and upheaval. In Capricorn, 1908 Uranus denoted concentrated energy, and fanatical aims pursued with great zeal (Ebertin) yet as most people know, great zeal often gets details all wrong in its haste and determined aggression (success-at-all-costs; the illusion of infallibility eroded).

Curiously, the planets of The Enlightenment (Age of Reason; New World Order), Uranus and Neptune, opposed one another in 1908 across the Security axis of Cancer-Capricorn and this denotes that the FBI was formed during a time of political unrest and strong nationalism when major military power was being developed. Public apathy and indifference allowed such power to take hold as America entered World War I in 1917 for the opposition indicates personal freedoms being eroded and our nation being hurled into the war---after Woodrow Wilson had campaigned on peace (while secretly pledging our nation to enter WWI as required by international bankers). Perhaps you are reminded of President Obama, recipient of a Nobel Peace Prize, campaigning in 2008 against the expansion of war and his pre-election journey to NYC to meet with big bank campaign donors.

Arousing public awareness of dangerous threats is part of the FBI's Uranus-Neptune opposition picture though the agency's integrity and our level of trust in the FBI is being purposefully eroded, inch by inch, as is trust in other American institutions and systems--in part a reflection of transforming Pluto approaching US natal Pluto, our first-ever Pluto Return. As Above, So Below.

FBI July 26, 1908 T-Square--Uranus-Neptune = Saturn potentials include: instability; losses; bereavement (Ebertin); need for recognition; changes of direction; staying put causes depression and loss of self-confidence (Tyl); restraint on use of visionary ideals (Munkasey). The Moon-Neptune pair (see paragraph, below) is visionary as well but can be irrational and...wrong...in its perceptions. And the Uranus-Neptune pair in Politics denotes such things as subversion, exploitation of oil and other chemical resources, revolutionary 'new thinking' (or fomenting revolution?), idealistic structural changes in political and social systems, and/or sudden increases in the availability of illicit drugs (Munkasey) and activities such as drug trafficking. Note that with the Uranus-Neptune-Saturn trio in the dynamic T-Square pattern, no exact time of founding is necessary--and karma is at work as the agency reaps what it has sown. Carried around like an old suitcase is its rabid nationalism beginnings so trite and vicious in this new world in a rather tattered and tarnished New Millennium.

So even though the exact time of the FBI's founding (creation) is unknown (noon is used), astrologically we find that the natal horoscope of the Federal Bureau of Investigation contains other revealing signatures in the signs of Moon-ruled, self-protective, tribal Cancer (Moon, Mercury, Venus, Neptune, and North Node) and Sun-ruled, proud, egoistical Leo (Sun, Mars, Jupiter). Some time during the 24 hours of July 26, 1908, the fluctuating Moon conjoined visionary idealist and speculator Neptune which is indicative of a public service orientation but with potentials for disinformation, deception, fraud, and surveillance (Neptune) used against The People (Moon). The use of 'false flag operations' (ops) and their related propaganda come to mind as well as the use of half-truths as tools or weapons and a handy omission of key details habit in order to skew investigations and divert legal arguments and cases.

Plus, we don't need an exact time of founding to see that the FBI was formed under the auspices of the 19 North Saros Series of June 28, 1908 @7Cancer (Initial 19N July 5, 1331 @20Can32). This Solar Eclipse Series contains themes of tackling the truth (!)(7.12.17: with Trump?), realism, and coming down to earth as old situations are seen for what they really are (Brady). Last manifesting in 1998, 19N will again occur on September 1, 2016 @9Virgo when we may expect revelations galore, possibly concerning hidden responsibilities for the attacks of 9/11/01. Note (7.12.17) that this manifestation of 19 North @9Virgo is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of both Campaign 2016 and Inauguration 2017. Sadly for this nation, the skeptic Mr. Trump, the conniver-in-chief, will always maintain a loose and contentious relationship with the truth. And the Truth. He thinks everybody lies.

Washington DC: It's Only Words

And so as usual, when it comes to American Politics, Washington DC, and the US Justice System, appropriate words are mouthed by many but good results may be few for actions taken by FBI Directors, Congress, SCOTUS, lower courts, state legislatures, and the White House are what really matter including the results of 'unintended consequences' which may have been secretly intended all along. Words can charm and persuade, yes, but actions taken or omitted by government officials cause the American people more harm than mild confessions of the obvious.

What a former FBI agent says in this 5-minute video about the JFK assassination makes more sense than the white-wash conclusions of the Warren Commission though he does not address the possibility that someone or a group of elites ordered the killing of an American president:

Among other chart factors, you'll notice the explosive, 'collapse of the old order' duo lining up for their mid-1960s Great Conjunction/s in mid-Virgo, Uranus and Pluto. The old order v new order pair now transit in a Cardinal Square aspect (next exact square April 21, 2014) and are supporting mayhem across the globe.

The horoscope also shows the Sun (leader) at a critical 29th degree of secretive, betraying Scorpio, and near fixed star Bungala (Alpha Centauri), aka, Toliman, a star that is only visible in southern latitudes but since I deal here with symbology, I'll add that Bungala has a Jupiter-Venus nature and indicates themes of relationships with females that are somehow spoiled (adultery can do it); or, a happy relationship that is suddenly stricken by exceptional circumstances...such as your husband being assassinated.

You'll notice in the horoscope that America's natal Uranus @8Gem55 is rising as is warring activist Mars in transit. Also, restrictive authority Saturn @5Sco07 Rx conjoins the Vertex, a point of fated encounters which may include death and sudden endings, plus, the Moon @18Lib59 reflects US SP Mars, retrograde by progression since Summer 2006.

Solar Eclipse of the Siege at Waco 1993

The US government-Branch Davidian stand-off which history calls the Siege at Waco began on February 28, 1993, ended on April 19, 1993, and was shown live on TV in the US around the clock, as I remember (or perhaps it only seemed that way. We were more easily shocked back then - and perhaps shocking the public was part of the motivation.)

The 50-day Waco stand-off happened within a certain Solar Eclipse Series, the 13 North, which actually manifested on December 24, 1992 @ '2 Capricorn' and repeated on January 4, 2011 - we're in the 13N now. Interestingly, something else portentous occurred during this Series: the first of the three Great Conjunction/s of Uranus and Neptune (#1 on February 2, 1993 @ 19Cap34), the Illuminati planets...in other words, Uranus and Neptune = the New World Order duo.

Paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology, we have then and now a theme of groups and associations, large ambitious group projects, the breaking of an already existing bond (such as when joining a cult), separation then joint achievement. The next occurrence of 13N will be in the year 2029; for historical comparison, 13N also occurred in 1902, 1920, 1938, 1956, and 1974.

One assumes the 'joint acheivement' part was on the side of the FBI, Janet Reno, then-President Bill Clinton, and their globalist masters hidden in the shadows of our invisible government. (See sidebar near top for quotes from presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson on a very similar topic.)

Natally, 13N is the Pre-Natal Eclipse Series of Rod Blagojevich (remember him and his hair?), Patsy Ramsey (mother of Jon Benet Ramsey), and poet Emily Dickinson (December 10, 1830.)

The initial eclipse in the Series occurred on August 14, 1776 and its horoscope contains quite a descriptive midpoint picture which may relate to the heavy-handed Siege at Waco; Mars was @ 18Can13, North Node @ 5Leo28 conjunct US natal NN, and power-mad Pluto Rx was @ 26Cap38 - less than one degree from US natal Pluto and the degree of the Midheaven (Aspirations) in all modern-day presidential inauguration charts:

Mars/NN = Pluto: the performance of record achievements; a violent or forced separation from a partnership or union; deterring the competition; increased need to be in control of groups and associations which wield influence in your professional areas of interest.

On a similar theme is the Massacre at Ruby Ridge. And 'ruby' is red and red is 'Rose' and it's possible that "Rose" in the Sabian Symbol for '2Cap' refers to Rosicrucianism and we're back to 'Swords vs Torches' once again.

Congress eyes FBI's Ivins case

It's Monday, Congress is back on Capitol Hill for 3 weeks and has sent a letter to FBI Director Robert Mueller asking him nicely to show up in front of the House Judiciary Committee (probably on Sept 16 & 17) to answer a few outstanding questions about the case against Dr. Bruce Ivins.

The New York Times has this:

Seeking Details, Lawmakers Cite Anthrax Doubts in which we are reminded that the post-9/11 anthrax letters contained none of Bruce Ivins' DNA, which must surely be an inconvenient fact for Mueller who will be asked about how investigators eliminated the 100+ people who also had access to the culpable flasks of anthrax.

Bruce Ivins, as you know, committed suicide (we're told) the night of July 29, 2008, so Congress' questions to Mueller may be the only chance the American people have for any closure whatsoever concerning the terroristic anthrax letters of 2001 since the death of Dr. Ivins negates the possibility of a trial.

You remember that the FBI pursued the wrong man for years in this case, Dr. Steven J. Hatfield, who in June settled a lawsuit against the FBI for $4.6 million. Guess we taxpayers pay the piper, but good for Dr. Hatfield whose career was ruined by FBI scrutiny and innuendo.

Looking back at July 29, Saturn (law, authority, accountability) was in a quindecile aspect with nebulous, often obfuscating Neptune.

A quindecile aspect (165 degrees) gives a compulsive-obsessive flavor to the planets involved and you may wish to keep the FBI-Ivins case in mind as Congress applies itself to the case - or as the law-makers simply produce another matinee of political theater on Capitol Hill that goes nowhere and results in exactly nada.

CIA Acknowledges it Has More Than 7000 Documents Relating to Secret Detention Program, Rendition, and Torture Apr 23, 2008:

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) must stop stonewalling congressional oversight committees and release vital documents related to the program of secret detentions, renditions, and torture, three prominent human rights groups said today. Amnesty International USA (AIUSA), the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) and the International Human Rights Clinic at NYU School of Law (NYU IHRC) reiterated their call for information, following the CIA's filing of a summary judgment motion this week to end a lawsuit and avoid turning over more than 7000 documents related to its secret "ghost" detention and extraordinary rendition program.


CIA Foresaw Interrogation Issues --Agency Considered Investigations 'Virtually Inevitable' Apr 24, 2008:

The CIA concluded that criminal, administrative or civil investigations stemming from harsh interrogation tactics were "virtually inevitable," leading the agency to seek legal support from the Justice Department, according to a CIA official's statement in court documents filed yesterday.

The CIA said it had identified more than 7000 pages of classified memos, e-mails and other records relating to its secret prison and interrogation program, but maintained that the materials cannot be released because they relate to, in part, communications between CIA and Justice Department attorneys or discussions with the White House.


FBI: We Warned About Torture of Detainees Apr 24, 2008:

FBI Director Robert Mueller on Wednesday recalled warning the Justice Department and the Pentagon that some US interrogation methods used against terrorists might be inappropriate, if not illegal. Mueller's comments came under pointed questioning by House Democrats demanding to know if the Federal Bureau of Investigation tried to stop interrogations in 2002 that critics define as torture.

Mueller said the FBI does not use coercive techniques when questioning suspects or witnesses, and he reportedly pulled his agents out of CIA or military interrogations several years ago to protect them from legal consequences.


FBI chief testifies he warned DOJ, DOD harsh interrogation tactics may be illegal Apr 23, 2008:

FBI Director Robert Mueller testified before the US House Judiciary Committee Wednesday that he had advised officials at the Departments of Justice and Defense that some interrogation tactics employed against terror suspects might be illegal.

Mueller said that the FBI had first raised concerns about the use of harsh interrogation methods in 2002, when CIA interrogators used waterboarding with several alleged 'al Qaeda' leaders, but declined to say how other agencies had reacted to FBI concerns.


Israelis Claim Secret Agreement With US Apr 24, 2008:

A letter that President [sic] Bush personally delivered to then-Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon four years ago has emerged as a significant obstacle to the president's efforts to forge a peace deal between the Israelis and Palestinians during his last year in office. Ehud Olmert, the current Israeli prime minister, said this week that Bush's letter gave the Jewish state permission to expand the West Bank settlements that it hopes to retain in a final peace deal, even though Bush's peace plan officially calls for a freeze of Israeli settlements across Palestinian territories on the West Bank.#


Was the letter personally delivered by Bush a factor in Sharon's sudden health decline?

GOP political operative told FBI of alleged Spitzer sexscapades--Roger Stone, who shut down the 2000 presidential 'election' recount effort in Miami-Dade County, is longtime Spitzer *nemesis. Mar 21, 2008:

Almost four months before Gov. Eliot Spitzer resigned in a sex scandal, a lawyer for Republican political operative Roger Stone sent a letter to the FBI alleging that Spitzer "used the services of high-priced call girls" while in Florida.

The letter, dated Nov 19, said Miami Beach resident Stone learned the information from "a social contact [i.e., his own hooker] in an adult-themed club." ..."It is also my client's understanding from the same source that Governor Spitzer did not remove his mid-calf length black socks during the sex act. Perhaps you can use this detail to corroborate Mr. Stone's information," the letter said, signed by attorney Paul Rolf Jensen of Costa Mesa, Calif. Perhaps you've been hearing recently of the FBI's secret files on Coretta Scott King and how their surveillance and spying on MLK's widow actually intensified after his assassination was accomplished.

The moral of the story I'm getting here is that after Hoover's long-awaited death in 1972, the Bureau got better. Yet considering today's flap over their surveillance and harrassment of peace organisations who don't appreciate the Bush-Cheny war, I find that "moral" more than a little suspect. The White House was in the loop on the spying then and it would be daft to think it's out of the loop now.

For when it comes to tamping down criticism of yet another illegal, ill-advised war waged by the American government, who has the most to gain?

It is my belief that when it comes to America, the populist view IS the mainstream.

The fringes where reside the secret anarchists and assassins of the People's choice--and of anyone who speaks on behalf of the People and speaks up for the truth--there skulk the outsiders, the coup d'etat crowd who are the true subversives and radical reformers undermining our nation's infrastructures, social fabric, and freedoms.

Have America's secret agencies really improved? Especially since the gutting of our privacies and the Bill of Rights these last several years?
