Panic in the New World Order--Gary North

Thanks to the current sabotage of one or two Russian pipelines supplying Europe, the European Union is in the news once again. This post provides a snaphot of events going on in 2012, As Above, So Below, such as Midas and Pan traveling together. A most likely culprit? Russia.

Gary North writes that there's Panic in the New World Order in relation to economic crisis within the European Union, and he includes other power-grasping topics.

Mr. North says that currently there are only about 6,000 people at the top of the global pyramid of power and it's curious to me that two asteroids representing archetypes for gold and greedy gold-hoarding--Midas--and Pan--panic, pandemic, pan-american, panorama (which is linked to the ancient sign of Capricorn) have been traveling in tandem for quite some time, retrograding off and on in the early degrees of Gemini (now around 9--10 Gemini) and conjunct US natal Uranus 8Gem55, planet of sudden, disruptive events of a separative and rebellious nature.

And of course you know that transformative Pluto now plods through Saturn-ruled Capricorn, destructuring systems and toppling political and financial dominoes as he stealths along on his way to rejoin the degree of America's natal Pluto @27Cap33 Rx of July 4, 1776. Sad to say that for the US financial system and the American people, the dominoes being toppled by Mr. Underworld, he of massive and hidden wealth, are our natal planets in business-savvy Cancer (Venus, Jupiter, Sun, then Mercury Rx later) showing titanic power struggles for control of our government and the pilfering of our remaining resources.

SCOTUS decisions Thursday--Liveblogged by SCOTUS Blog (w Venus Direct)

Since this Thursday is the last day of the Supreme Court session this term, it's believed that on June 28, 2012 the Court will issue three important decisions including the one concerning President Obama's Affordable Health Care Act of 2010.

The brilliant SCOTUS Blog will be Liveblogging beginning at 8:45 am edt so we can all keep ourselves updated. The blog has upgraded its servers in expectation of many thousands of visitors!

Plus, as you know, Venus, ruler of Libra (sign of the scales of Justice) performs her long-awaited Direct Station on Wednesday June 25, 2012, @7Gem29--conjunct tr Midheaven (Public Standing) in Washington DC (at 11:07 am edt) and will be moving forward by Thursday, the day that SCOTUS makes its announcements, perhaps around 10:00 or 11:00 am edt.

Of significance: Venus stations near US natal Uranus 8Gem55, and is traveling with transiting asteroids Midas and Pan these days. Have many pieces of gold been paid to assure the outcome of the 'Obamacare' decision? It seems as if the Supreme Court justices don't have the moral standing they once enjoyed so you decide.

As for tr Venus to our national Uranus in multiplicitous if not duplicitous Gemini (ruled by Mercury, plant of decisions), this is a time when unorthodox or non-traditional alliances are being formed and unique methods are employed in order to achieve common goals--positively or negatively.

And of course any links between Venus and Uranus may denote relationsip break-ups, or extravance or eccentricity with money.

Still, the Venus Direct Station horoscope shows tr Jupiter 3Gem32 not just near tr Venus, but conjunct President Obama's natal Moon in early Gemini, a prosperous time for attracting popularity, cooperation, and commitments from others so perhaps SCOTUS will leave at least most of the president's Obamacare intact! Plus, Obama Campaign contributions should pick up now if they haven't already.

Krugman's The Great Abdication (1931 v 2012)

Historical Eclipses, 1930s v 2012, the Fed, and the EU Debt Crisis

If you've read economist Paul Krugman's NYT op-ed of June 24, The Great Abdication, you know that he likens the current financial crisis in Europe and how its creditor nations have chosen to come to the aid of Spain with the actions taken to similar events of 1931.

The Fed in the US and the Central Bank of Europe are missing their marks and not stepping up to take responsibility as it ought to be taken. Now this is a Political Astrology blog so is there an astrological parallel at all which might link together the failures of 1931 and the misdirected actions of 2012?

Well, since Solar and Lunar eclipses have influence upon the Collective in any area of the globe (and often do), perhaps the themes of the exuberant October 11, 1931 Solar Eclipse @17 Libra in the 5 New South Saros Series will suffice since it marched headlong into the 6 North Saros Series of March 7, 1932 @ 17Pisces (a critical degree.) Together they may provide us a window into how things were going during the last quarter of 1931 and into 1932 with Herbert Hoover as US president and the American people reeling from the Crash of 1929. Click to view the 1929 horoscope and you'll note that in 2012, disruptive anarchist Uranus has returned to its 1929 position in Aries.

Grand Schemes and the Fed: Exuberance Comes Before a Fall?

The 5 New South Solar Eclipse manifested a few months after a Great Conjunction of the Big Banker duo of power, Jupiter and Pluto (the Fed and their directors, the international banking houses) @19Can16 on May 27, 1931, and about one year prior to a Great Conjunction the Fraudster-Speculator-Wastrel pair of planets, Jupiter and Neptune on September 19, 1932 @8Vir25. As you know, the combined energies of Jupiter-Neptune are imprinted forever upon the Obama presidency--first term anyway--since they conjoined and began another of their 13-year cycles three times during 2009 and washed out US natal Moon (We the People) with grander scams, heists, and foreclosures than we care to admit. And we feel them rippling still.

October 1931: 5 New South themes are rather high-spirited (Jupiter was traversing tropical Gemini then as now)--joy, happpiness, peak experiences, benefits, good news. But then came 1932...

March 1932: 6 North themes are quite another matter and relate all too well to current events and the measley actions being taken: relationships to father figures and authority; the need to take responsibility and control; commitments are made due to other people's unreliability (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology.)

Or they should be if honest brokers were acting. But instead they're abdicating their responsibilities, as Professor Krugman points out.

Now you may know of many events from 1931 and 1932 which are described by the themes of either of these Solar Eclipses but there are two 6N events in particular which must be mentioned though one is from its earlier manifestation in 1914 @6Pisces:

1. World War I ("to make the world safe for democracy"!! Woodrow Wilson had already secretly pledged America into the war when he campaigned on that absurdly propagandistic slogan--at the direction of war profiteers, aka, international bankers and their agents in the US. Big bankers make much much more money loaning to governments than to ordinary folk. President Abraham Lincoln of greenbacks fame didn't fall for their usury interest rate schemes to finance the 'Civil' War and you know how his story turned out.)

2. The Bonus Army of 1932 when President Hoover ordered Douglas MacArthur and the army to fire on US citizens who had honorably served their country and needed the promised pay earlier than the 1945 date that Congress had irresponsibly set. For as you know, by 1932 the nation was into the Great Depression and families needed to be fed.

But Hoover's Bonus Army Mow-Down doesn't provide the typically glowing image of Pennsylvania Avenue so often cultivated these days to exalt Washington DC, does it?

Jupiter Meets Uranus while Typing on a Weekend!

Since this weekend is the last for composing and setting up my new subscription newsletter Stars Over Washington Monthly by early July, you can imagine that typing is keeping me tres busy and I won't be hanging out much here on my SO'W blog until Monday or Tuesday--crazy events in Washington DC notwithstanding. No, it isn't a weekend vacation but it is a labor of love on behalf of America!

Meanwhile, perhaps you wish to read a well-written review of my Scottish friend and expert astrologer Anne Whitaker's excellent book Jupiter Meets Uranus: From Erotic Bathing to Star Gazing which I also reviewed on Amazon in 2009--though I really don't think I did the book's usefulness enough justice!

So if Jupiter Meets Uranus is not already snuggled within your astro-library, I highly recommend this book to anyone wishing to know more astrologically and historically concerning this 'lucky breakthrough' pair with its 'social and collective links'.

(Their last Great Conjunction/s in their 14-year cycle were from 2010 into 2011 and you'll remember that the first one conjoined Aries Point and the next two were in late Pisces.)

Dual Natal Charts of Obama and Romney

Today's new cycle is timed by a New Moon in communicative Gemini and merits a lovely post by master astrologer Julie Demboski--with a charming and gorgeous art image included!

This New Moon @28Gem43 is the last lunation prior to June 20's Summer Solstice 2012--its Sygyzy Moon. Today's New Moon makes no major aspects to other planets which emphasizes its degree and house position.

But then its degree does oppose Galactic Center if you're interested that sort of cosmic connection!

Dueling Natal Charts and Candidates: Obama v Romney

Now, for those who'd like to view President Obama's natal chart on the same page with that of Mitt Romney, here is a dual image of both their natal horoscopes. Please click to enlarge for my scribbled notes and basic chart details:

As you know, there's a big difference in having natal Sun in shiny Leo, sign of the natural ruler (Obama), and having natal Sun in obfuscating, confusing-confused Pisces (Romney), sign of deception, victimization, and what should operate as compassion in the personality. Plus, Gov. Romney has Mercury Rx (thinking processes, communication style) in Pisces along with Mars (motivation, action, energy) and this abundance of Piscean energies relates, I believe, to current questions as to 'Who is Mitt Romney?', his awkwardness with others, and what some say is his 'lack of a core' now being voiced by the press and others. But as astrologers know, Pisces can never really be fully fathomed!

Plus, you see the oppressive Saturn-Pluto conjunction at the Foundation of Romney's chart and psyche, what I call the vulture capitalist duo when it comes to Bainster Mitt. The duo's bullying energy is so strong that even his attracting-attractive Venus in aloof Aquarius at Midheaven--out there for all the world to see--can't change the fact that deep within his basic personality lies Saturn-Pluto energy and that is what he tries so hard to protect from scrutiny with his Piscean avoidances and non-answers for he seems to genuinely hope in January 2013 that he will enter the White House at long last and be the elite tool everyone knows him to be.

A Gemini New Moon, Romney, Obama, and A Draconian "Free Trade" Pact

Coming so close to Summer Solstice 2012 (Wednesday June 20), this New Moon perfects at 11:02 am in the edt time zone, is disposited by Mercury (ruler of communicative Gemini) during a Mercury Hour, plus--Mercury is the only planet out-of-bounds. Whew! Lots of Mercurialism going on next week with a New Moon signaling a new cycle of activity beginning in the realms of Mercury (trade, commerce, journalism, travel including air and space, plans, thinking processes, teaching, speechifying, and more.) Plus, '28Gem' is a degree of BANKRUPTCY in the Sabian Symbols and the June 19th New Moon stimulates the Moon of 9/11/01 for it's something of a Lunar Return to the 9/11 horoscope.

These expansive contacts are giving Mittens an airy lift of his thinking, plans, newsworthiness, and visibility though with all the unstable Mutable energy, the good effects may be temporary or alternating. As you know, in Washington DC, Mercurial thievery seems to be a constant and methinks we're very wise to mistrust any politician of any partisan persuasion who expresses a desire to join that particular club of elites! Yes, Mitt has been rapping at the club door for years and this former resident of DC had a good chuckle this past week when Mr. Romney said of Mr. Obama that 'talk is cheap'--for Mitt was talking when he said it.

Now with Venus to US n Uranus (plus the June 5/6, 2012 Venus Transit in mid-Gemini), unusual or unorthodox alliances are being formed, one of which is the super-secret Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a draconian "free trade" deal (Mercury) between Asian nations and America which, among other Global Governance goals, will set up an international authority (tribunal) to which the US will bow, thus totally destroying US sovereignty with no legal recourse for the American people--ever. This makes a visit to TradeWatch.org an imperative for We the People--and we must forget Washington's tiresome 'con v lib/R v D' divide-and-conquer tactics and propaganda before all is lost.

And yes, my fellow Americans, communist China may join later as and when it will. Although an official site makes it all sound quite mild, others such as myself aren't nearly as complacent. If the radical reforms are so beneficial, why was the pact formed in complete secrecy during its nascent stages (2008--2010)? More offshoring of US jobs is afoot! This is a negative for President Obama's re-election campaign dreams for details and text now emerge in the light of the May 20, 2012 Solar Eclipse @00Gem20 (conjunct Alcyone--this pact is indeed something to cry about) along with the June 6 Lunar Eclipse (conjunct US natal ASC) and its uncovering-of-secrets function for TPP's "free trade" details have been leaked in line with the current (un-)veiling Neptune in oceanic Pisces influence. Such a leaky White House! Makes me wonder if the identity of the GOP mole will soon be leaked!

Now Back to Mitt Romney: March 12, 1947 9:51 am EST Detroit, MI

The political nature of these transits to Romney's Uranus-NN pairing in the personal 1st house denotes a 'political association advocating reforms' flavor (R. Ebertin.) Romney's natal 2nd H of Money and Earning Ability is affected as well with the June 19th New Moon occurring therein--cusp 25Gem00; some fluctuation in his campaign funding efforts--up or down--may be forthcoming as well once the new cycle begins and culminates two weeks later at the July Full Moon in Capricorn. Of course, revelations of financial double-dealing are possible for Romney with Gemini, the sign of multiplicity and duplicity--here in money matters (2nd H.)

President Obama: August 4, 1961 7:24 pm AHST Honolulu, Hawaii

Yes, the Gemini planets of June also affect President Obama's natal 4th H Moon 3Gem21 which sextiles his n 6th H Mercury 2Leo20 but is squared by n Pluto 6Vir59 in 7th H of Partnerships. Natal 7th H also contains his 'political associations advocating reforms' duo of Uranus-NN in Leo which is in much closer orb than Romney's Uranus-NN in Gemini.

In addition, it may turn out to be politically significant--especially in the realms of speeches and goals--that Mercury's Rx Station @12Leo33 on July 14, 2012 is a direct 'hit' to President Obama's natal Sun @12Leo33--and will recur with a direct Mercury--but I can't type about that now since I'm in process of adding such notes to the first-ever issue of Stars Over Monthly which is coming soon!

As the social-economic crisis of austerity measures in the EU ruins the lives of millions of Europeans and threatens the delicate US economy with its global domino effect, perhaps you may appreciate a view of the EU Flag/NWO unfurled article I posted in July 2011 with the transits for July 28, 2011 shown around the natal chart. You'll notice the 1989 pile-up of Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune in staid, governmental Capricorn in the 2--11 degree range of Cap, where transiting Pluto, planet of hidden wealth, transformation, debt, and general power-mad creepiness, now lurks. These midpoint pictures continue to apply in 2012--Pluto is in the degree range now--and as usual, I type aloud my common-good views on US politics and politicians who now infest our nation.

On an Eclipse Note: the above mention of the difficult events of 1931 compelled me to peek at the first Solar Eclipse of that year to check its theme and to match it up with the most current year of our era--it's the 5 North Saros Series.

In 1931, 5N manifested @ 27Ari and last occurred on May 31, 2003 @9Gem, conjunct US natal Uranus 8Gem55--our planet of revolution, unrest, rebellion, change, and radical politics. This Eclipse occurred a few days after Bush-Cheney regime insisted on invading Iraq (with Jupiter the General Rx = a bottomless pit in the money department!), as you know--and another domino effect was implemented toward global governance. (Its raptor's eye is most recently cast upon Syria as Washington and Moscow "trade barbs" over the mayhem there as certain media outlets delicately describe it.)

5N's theme includes: sudden flashes of intuition, visions (of a new world economic order, the borry sastards), and prophetic dreams. (Brady.) And of course, the highly enlightened Uranus-Neptune duo, the poster child for the Age of Reason, are very supportive of such a visionary theme.

Atty General Eric Holder w Neptune to Mars

Now you know that Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder is under fire from Republicans over the Fast and Furious fiasco, a Mars-themed project of misbegotten proportions.

Taking a peek at Atty Gen Holder's natal planets to see if current planetary transits are creating upsetting contacts with his natal planets, we see that tr Mars approaches Holder's natal South Node (SN @20Vir07), a point of separation and highlighting his past actions which are proving to be embarrassing for the White House--as embarrassing as the Republicans can make them.

Will Atty Gen Holder be politically forced to step down? Well, a separation may be in the cards for him with the Saturnian Mars-to-SN influence especially with the recent Mars retrograde period over his SN degree. Testy transiting Mars passed his Rx shadow degree (the degree on which he'd earlier turned Rx) on June 19, 2012 @23Vir06--conjunct US natal Neptune and President Obama's natal Mars.)

Adding confusion, obfuscation, and possible deception (which Fast and Furious very much involved), we find that tr Neptune in early Pisces has been conjoining off and on Mr. Holder's n Mars 29AQ20, the planet of guns, weapons, and shooters, and will go on to conjoin his n Jupiter 8Pis53 in the future. Also, tr Chiron (The Wound; the Blindspot) @ 9Pis45 today is in contact with n Jupiter, planet of ideology, beliefs, faith, expansion, development, and money. Mr. Holder, his reputation, and the White House are being wounded by the GOP investigation into Fast and Furious though a similar program was perpetrated under George W. Bush.

Of significance to today's topic is the Neptune to n Mars, a time when physical accomplishments (like Fast and Furious) are plagued by misunderstandings of methods and goals. Deception and confusion undermine efforts and relationships with males (Mars), and recognition is not forthcoming. In this case, congressional testimony was forthcoming instead (negative recognition!) as some opponents made certain to misunderstand though admittedly the program does seem to have been handled in ham-fisted fashion.

(Plus, that fancy deceptive practices tactic the FBI and CIA tend to engage in to entrap people who might not otherwise have had the means to do what they're accused of doing always represents Orwellian overreach to me. And what's the high side of showing yourselves to be sneakier than the sneaks you're after? To justify your organization's existence?)

Other areas of focus for a Neptune to n Mars transit applicable to Mr. Holder's case are the penal system and fraud.

Well, other than giving his birth data and Sun-Moon info below, that's all I wish to say about the Attorney General's planets today and his kerfluffle with (the convicted) Darrel Issa and the overbearing GOP who'll do anything to keep the Democrats out of the White House in November 2012. Now you know I believe that there's little difference in political parties in the US since they're only factions vying for control of the global government helm (as they think. But China may have something to say about it.) So perhaps one or both of the "Images for Integration" of Eric Holder's Sun AQ-Moon Can (Moon in Cancer for the 24 hours of his day of birth) may seem on the significant side to you:

"A social worker bypasses bureaucracy to save a mother and child...A childhood memory becomes the basis of a new world order." (Sun Sign-Moon Sign, Charles and Suzi Harvey.)

Eric Holder January 21, 1951 New York, New York (birth hour unknown--noon used; the Sun AQ-Moon Can personality has the ability to rationalize irrational actions and become absorbed in abstract causes which seems to me part of what happened with Mr. Holder during Fast and Furious. Who can say?)

Sun-Pluto obsessions of the US, Obama, and Romney

It is my personal conclusion that America's obsession with Sun-Pluto power issues and control makes the use of fear as a tool against the populace easy to latch on to for the US natal horoscope shows an obsessive-compulsive-don't-know-when-to-quit Sun-Pluto quindecile aspect (165 degrees) between the executive (Sun) and power (Pluto.) Other levels of Pluto (exs: the Pope, extreme wealth hidden in secret places, spying and surveillance, string-pullers from afar, wealthy banking houses, the Underworld) certainly may apply as well but for this post let's stop at 'power, control, and the use of fear for persuasion'. When conjunct, the Sun-Pluto duo shows a willfulness that makes 'offers difficult to refuse'.

Now it seems significant to me that in the pivotal year 2012, with a presidential election at hand (guided by mafioso Pluto's Hidden Hand?) and both candidate's qualifications for office under scrutiny, that both President Barack Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney have natal charts (psyches) containing Sun-Pluto midpoint pictures--that is, the midpoint of the two bodies whose psycho-dynamics so obsess Washington DC with its imposed cult of personality (Sun) as instituted upon the citizenry by the first presidency in the form of Freemason George Washington. In an ironic twist (or with an eye toward posterity) Washington is famous for refusing to be king of America, and for walking away from the power of the presidency so that the next guy could step in and further the mission.

Note: in 1937, US inauguration days were switched from early March to January 20, or 21 if the 20th falls on a Sunday. This positions America's presidential Sun @00AQ+ and the Sabian Symbol for '1AQ' = "An Old Adobe Mission." Check it out!)

On June 20, 2012 the Sun reaches 00Can00:00 and summer begins in our hemisphere. The Moon at that precise moment will position at 15Can so we have a Sun Can-Moon Can flavor for the season with the Moon ruling over all from its own sign of Cancer--home, domestic scene, family, security needs, real estate, shrewdness in business, protection, and a range of every emotion. And since the astrological Moon relates to the physical body, our natural mind-body connection is of the utmost importance along with the gut-immunity link. Apparently Summer 2012 may bring more allegations and emotionally disturbing investigations into who leaked what to which journalists with every actor struggling to protect his or her own position and turf as Cancerian-Piscean undercurrents threaten to spiral them down into the depths of ruin and despair. Such is the practice of Politics but who will be tossed under the bus?
