On January 20, 2021, in the final chaotic minutes of the Trump White House, chief of staff Mark Meadows rushed to the DOJ to "hand-deliver a redacted copy" (of the "binder" of raw Russian intel) "for a last review"."

Is this why Joe Biden took the 2021 Oath of Office at 11:15 am instead of the traditional noon hour? (Horoscope shown, below.)

Well, so far, the most comprehensive details concerning the missing intelligence "binder" (stack) of raw Russian intelligence that I've found is The mystery of the missing binder: How a collection of raw Russian intelligence disappeared under Trump, a joint reporting effort by CNN.

Now there are multiple horoscopes involved with this intelligence failure and if a mere post could be an e-book, I'd publish them and we'd discuss at length. However, briefness is a virtue in the blogging sphere so let's consider a previously discussed post from way back in 2015 because I figured it would be a big deal in the world of secrets and Trump collusion with Russia, Horoscope of the RNC Full Moon Conjunct US 1776 Pluto. This Full Moon in July 2016 became exact during the RNC, and cast a lunar spotlight upon, not just America's Pluto (27Cap33), but upon our national Mercury-Pluto opposition of surveillance and secrets, those withheld, leaked, and shared by and against our intelligence agencies. After all, knowledge is power, as 'they' always say, and our Mercury-oppo-Pluto wants total control of it all.

So here's a newer version of the RNC 2016 Full Moon Horoscope snugged as a transit chart around America's Powell Horoscope ("first vote," as championed by historian-astrologer Gary Lorentzen), showing that, among other cosmic factors, this now-revealed - though still mysterious - intelligence theft by Trump, aka, agent orange - is very much a Moon-Pluto affair:

Curiously, the planet of chaos, rebellion, and assault, radical reactionary Uranus, conjuncts the IC (Foundation) of the July 2016 Full Moon Horoscope with an intriguing Sabian Symbol word picture: "A Double Promise Reveals Its inner and Outer Meaning." My suspicion is that the disappearing binder of secrets revelation of December 2023 is one clump of secrets now in process of being revealed.

Meanwhile, below is another bi-wheel of horoscopes which might interest a reader or two since the above "final chaotic minutes" of the Trump White House on Inauguration Day 2021 could have been a factor in why Joe Biden actually took the Oath of Office a few minutes prior to the usual noon time especially since Trump's term didn't officially end until noon. Perhaps the Biden team thought there could be legal or practical reasons why an early Oath-Taking was a good idea. We may never know, but here's the bi-wheel where we find Inaugural Venus @15Cap04 conjunct Inaugural Midheaven ('MC") and conjunct RNC 2016 Pluto, a transit suggesting that Joe Biden took control of the situation; a few other contacts are notated as well:

Way back in December 2017 we discussed the horoscope of Russia - Flag Raised 1991 and what we now understand were - and are - connections between agent orange and Vladimir Putin. And later, evidence was plain to see when the two men met at Helsinki, Finland in July 2018 with the Sun (leadership) conjunct Trump's natal Saturn, planet of authority, responsibility, authenticity, in watery Cancer, sign of tribalism, nationalism, and self-protection.

A form of patriotism may be noticed as well with this placement such as a demagogue wrapping his arms around an American flag as if to snuff it out. Then as you know, Saturn in Moon-ruled Cancer tends to love its own independence but tends toward discontent, crabby emotions, and aggravation caused through karmic ties and family connections. And all while Trump's Saturn @23Can48 squelches US 1776 Mercury, a serious contact that agent orange has used in his favor, seldom if ever in ours. Naturally, censorship and free speech are issues with and for Trump. Plus, his Saturn-to-US-Mercury connection actually ropes in America's 1776 Mercury-Pluto opposition of secrets and surveillance which, I suspect, relates to his theft of government documents and the alleged sharing and sale of them to America's enemies, both foreign and domestic. All this occurring across the Cancer-Capricorn axis of Security and Ambition, Domestic Scene and Career.

So in the scheme of things, old man Trump's 11th house Saturn has turned out to be a big deal when it comes to America's national security and the national security crisis that a disloyal agent orange has targeted against We the People and democracy itself. Even his pet 'build a wall' project falls into a Saturn (wall) in Cancer (shell of protection--easily broken or washed away) category, watery and crumbling as it's been - and with Bannon's financial fraud involved. Plus, abuse of power is always a potential with the harsh, compressed energies of the Saturn-Pluto combination.

So perhaps for the purposes of these topics, the December 31, 2021 Horoscope of the third time that transit Pluto in Capricorn opposed Trump's natal Saturn might be informative in view of the sinister, evil duo of Saturn-Pluto which met in Great Conjunction on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 - conjunct Donald Trump's natal Vertex of fated encounters (see John Townley's The Vertex: Crossroads of Destiny):

And for those who use a late afternoon horoscope for America (July 4, 1776), the fact that Trump's rising Mars @27Leo opposes, and will always oppose, We the People's Moon @27AQ describes the anger, resentment, and grudges Mr. Revenge holds against his "fellow Americans" and toward anyone who stands in his tyrannical way. So for this and a thousand other reasons, Herr Revenge cannot be allowed to again fondle the keys to the White House with his tiny fingers itching to push The Button.

So please, dear reader, Vote Blue in 2024 as if your democratic Republic depends on it. Because you know that it totally does.

July 26, 2020: In 2005, as Stars Over Washington was getting underway, I determined that Western Tropical Astrology would be used to scrutinize (and criticize!) American politics and politicians, plus, as my lens to check out historical and current events with a leaning toward the common good. After all, life on Earth is complicated as is any system of analysis used to describe it in some sort of manageable fashion for the curious reader. My choice was more or less intended to keep things squashed down to a "dull roar" if you know what I mean even though trying to limit infinity via Astrology or by any other means is a sisyphusian task. Topics are too broad, problems are too deep, secrets too hidden, and most events occur due to long-standing karmic conditions mishandled in the past and often left unaddressed. Astrological Pluto, with its 248-year cycle, knows all about karma and past mistakes left uncorrected - until permanent change takes the lead as if unbidden.

However, one As Above So Below topic now rears its fire-breathing head above the rest in 2020, while a certain culmination draws near and its primary protagonist is known to even the least astrologically informed Earthling. That is the US Pluto Return creeping into Collective awareness in part due to the plethora of plutonian themes we're now swamped by including income inequality out of control and the deadly pandemic invading American society. (Not to diss pandemic and economic losses and problems elsewhere but this is a post about Washington DC as representative of America, hence its title, SO'W.)

Even the sign through which predator Pluto the Invisible now stealthily creeps as he vultures toward his 1776 degree in Saturn-ruled Capricorn adds fuel to our feelings of general alarm with Reinhold Ebertin labeling Pluto in Capricorn as, "the dictator." When draconian-totalitarian-fascist regimes arose in the 1930s with their destructive spirit on brutal display and bigotry in their shriveled hearts, Pluto was moving through Capricorn's opposite sign of Cancer (Ebertin's "the magician" placement). But these days, fascists in the US and elsewhere are banking on a culmination of Plutonian control and manipulation shown by Pluto-opposite-Pluto (from tribal Cancer to governmental Capricorn) as a Full Moon timing device for their devilish 'dream of transformation becomes reality'. During decades of preparation they have extended their methods and influence since the Nazi era and are expecting global success once America is 'taken down' a la Trump and his totalitarian backers.

Loss Leaders of The Fray

Of course, the January 2020 Great Conjunction of compressive, harsh Saturn and Pluto timed a major signal or shift of draconian intentions and activities for conjunctions of any planets are actually New Moons that express the seeding of a new cycle of activity in relation to the particular planetary energies involved. A watershed moment of global difficulties was reached with Year 2020 acting the role of 'cosmic star' of that particular Saturn-Pluto drama of brutality, control, and loss. Waiting in the wings of 2019, the Covid-19 pandemic soon made itself felt and its release was touted as a giant 'oops!' although on several occasions suspicious me has termed it purposeful and targeted for mismanagement, especially in the US. Because to this Daughter of the Revolution it seems no coincidence that the catastrophic pandemic was timed to sabotage Election 2020 and add its destruction to the collapse of America. Now you, dear reader, may disagree but there it is.

So today with the ramping up of complicated situations in full swing as the world careens toward 2021, many folks are searching for all the Pluto Return info they can find. Therefore, I'm recommending an expanded view of the US Pluto Return/s by expert astrologer Kenneth Bowser using his preferred system, the Western Sidereal. For as you know, in the Tropical system, America's Pluto 'returns' to its July 4, 1776 position of 27Cap33 multiple times (due to retrogradation) during the year 2022. But in the Sidereal system, the key year is 2024.

Does this timing difference indicate a conflict? Perhaps. Yet we know that all planetary cycles describe processes over periods of time so perhaps you agree that the Pluto-esque year of 2020 has brought events and conditions revealing that the world has entered a years-long dark tunnel of sorts, a tunnel leading to Pluto's Cave where The Dragon stands guard over piles of gold and precious jewels secreted far far away from - dare I type it - the 99%. We might even wish to begin counting our cave exploration jaunt from late January 2008 when transit Pluto entered Capricorn, a year of Collective losses on the rise via financial collapse while bankers, corporatists, and politicians made off like the bandits most of them are. But no matter when the modern Plutonian era began, it seems obvious that the global tunnel of turmoil extends into 2022, 2023, 2024, and beyond.

And despite Pluto's potential for regeneration, I'd even say that Humanity has messed things up on Earth very badly when we could have behaved so much better. That the elite class, its enablers, and wanna-bes now scramble in their attempts to blast off into outer space hoping to 'conquer' other planets seems more than a little pathetic to me considering how they've abused and plundered Mother Earth. Can anyone think the greedy wastrels would act any better in space? A puh! and a lol to such vain hope from yours truly! Of course, ridding our tattered Earth of their sorry selves would most likely be a bonus for humanity, wouldn't it?

Meanwhile back on Earth, the debris piles up - nuclear waste, garbage, and otherwise - as Americans face the return of Pluto to its 1776 degree which will activate any and all aspects and conditions of 1776 Pluto's position in the US founding chart/s - primarily, our national Mercury-Pluto opposition of crisis and social problems that cause anxiety yet which must be resolved one way or another. With psychological planet Pluto active we become aware that karmic progress, though much needed, is difficult now with transit Pluto making a series of oppositions to US natal Mercury (25Cancer) revealing that information (Mercury) is intense and subject to manipulation and 'adjustment' (Pluto) even more than previously; total control and vast power are sought by plutonian actors via US Election sabotage, among other fraudulent tactics that include the destruction of our laws, systems, and traditions. Yet our nation's Pluto Return marks a period when we must fight to preserve the continued existence of America as a Republic and must rebuild once the dust has settled!

So as I continue preparing my next post concerning our US Pluto Return (with a vast array of current events constantly interrupting that require attention) my hope is to keep the topic on the briefer side by using Western Tropical Astrology to view the July 4, 1776 horoscope that I most often prefer, set for 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Sagittarius rising ruled by expansive Jupiter exalted in Cancer. For the 5:09 pm horoscope shows two Cardinal World Points of manifestation upon the MC-IC axis (Aries-Libra on the WHY? and HOW? Points). That's Jupiter the Thespian in his many roles as the explorer, adventurer, discoverer, boundary-breaker, land-grabber - and banker, financier, corporatist, politician, guru, priest, and The General.

2020--2024 Solar Eclipses Echo 1930--1934

Since eclipses influence historical events, let's add a few solar eclipse notes comparing 2022 and 2024 with 2023 in between. Now the eclipses of 2021 may provide some respite but buckle up in 2022 for two Solar Eclipses occur, one on April 30th @10Taurus in the 6 North Saros Series ('relationship to authority figures') and the second on October 25th @2Scorpio, a 6 South eclipse that in 1932 timed the Nazi Rise to Power in Germany (and rise of FDR in the US) with themes of 'forcefully taking power' and 'expending huge efforts in group activities'. In 2023 comes a repeat of the 1933 Fascism Rising Solar Eclipse, this time @30Aries in the 7 North series ('deep passion long-hidden'). Plus, 7 South on October 14, 2023 @21Libra is highly troublesome as well with Mars-Pluto vibes and themes of 'immense power, anger, force', and/or 'crisis'. Then in 2024, another significant Great American Eclipse manifests, this time @19Aries in the 8 North series with themes of 'new-found inspiration, vivid dreams, inventiveness, and/or flashes of genius'.

Now naturally I agree with you that 8 North themes sound pretty good considering the eclipse themes of 2022 and 2023, even those of 2020. But that's only the case as long as its cosmic blink/wild card energies don't trigger evil genius on steroids. Am I right?

Jan 10, 2020 Lunar Eclipse: "A Prima Donna Singing"

As you've noticed, the very first eclipse in 2020 is the Lunar Eclipse of January 10, 2020 @20Can00:13 (Saros #144), a critical degree which conjoins fixed star Castor (to write or create; sudden fame or loss; murder). Additionally on January 10th, the Moon rises with Castor's twin star, Pollux (cruelty; danger of disgrace; the occult; astrology). Please note that these are general potentials of the two stars and are not for a reader's personal application--please consult your chart or your personal astrologer for such information!

In Washington DC, the January 10th Lunar Eclipse perfects at 2:21:11 pm est during a Mercury Hour (changes) with Mercury @20Cap06 out-of-bounds (OOBs) yet by degree conjunct the Sun. Quite a full 8th house, as you see, when the chart is set for DC. Two days later (January 12th) karmic Saturn and Pluto meet in Great Conjunction @22Cap46 and as we've previously discussed, Donald Trump's natal Vertex @22Cap51 will be greeted by Saturn and Pluto's compressed energies. Therefore, fated encounters and/or changing work conditions are distinct possibilities for his nibs and thus for the American people.

In the realms of Politics and Business, turmoil in rigid or older systems and upsets in existing checks and balances are on the Saturn-Pluto to-do list, however, we're already experiencing such things under the wacky 'tutelage' of the racist, sexist, klannish Donald Trump whose roots are of the Germanic persuasion. If he's still kickin' around the White House in early January 2020 (as I suspect although it would be much better if he'd go back where he came from), he'll continue such activities as: hoarding resources, considering methods for destruction or removal, making secret preparations for future restrictions, and/or trying to keep his affairs private or not open to scrutiny (Munkasey).

So as you see, Mercury in Saturn-ruled Capricorn is chart-ruler and makes two applying Ptolemaic aspects in the Lunar Eclipse chart (penned on, lower left). First The Messenger (and planet of puers and puellas) conjoins Saturn (2A26) denoting how things may issue from this eclipse: negotiations and discussions may be hindered, restricted, or delayed, mutual planning might be frustrated, impasses or stalemates occur, and/or treaties are difficult to manage or debate; advice may be sought or given, serious meetings are held, and/or preparation becomes an important issue. Some indication of computer programming may be involved, perhaps in the form of hacks and/or leaks--and besides, all eclipses are 'wild cards' that tend to uncover secrets, disrupt events, and prompt changes of direction in similar fashion to erratic Uranus--especially Lunar Eclipses which are awareness-producing Full Moons.

Then soon Mercury conjoins Pluto (2A36) suggesting that ideas, information, and communications relate to how to gain more power and control, finances and investments may be involved, plus, secrets, intel, and propaganda are on someone's menu. Even orbital weapons and/or communications satellites may turn up as topics in the public discourse, or in private.

Now with the eclipsing Moon opposing Mercury, Saturn, Pluto, and the Sun and the Moon in a mundane chart representing the people and the public, what is suggested here? Lunar signs point toward potentials for: head vs heart, altering facts to suit the public mood (which is Cancerian = protection of home, family, food supply, homeland, business), indecision or vacillation, and/or someone who talks too much but says very little of substance (ex: politicians--and one in particular). Practical vs theoretical economics may be involved (a full corporate 8th house, too, with expansive Jupiter conjunct South Node (lack of popularity; limited funds) in restrictive Capricorn and there's difficult fixed star Facies nearby (ruthlessness or the victim). Note that with Moon opposing Pluto, criminal elements and violence are also suggested along with misuse of resources. Again, we've experienced such things already via Trump and his cronies, mob-connected and otherwise.

My suspicion is that very few Americans are holding their breaths for his nibs to install "the best people" in government for who with qualifications would take the risk after what we've seen? And Trump obviously never intended to make improvements, only to tear down. In fact, his efforts at sabotage have hollowed out the US government just as his handlers and enablers directed while allowing infesting infiltrators their run of the place for spoils and plunder (see the description of SO'W under its title, above--written in 2005: yes, I've been in a snit of miffdom for years over what criminals 'have done with the place'...our America, and I dissent because I care).

The rounded-up Sabian Symbol for the January 10, 2020 Lunar Eclipse @21Cancer: "A Prima Donna Singing"...'Keyword: EXCELLENCE...positive expression: an overflowing richness of self through its full command of its own deep and genuine potentials; negative expression: superficial affirmation and unseemly display' (Jones). I suggest you decide which is most often expressed (and tweeted) on behalf of Washington DC Politics these days.

Now there are a few other things I wish to include in this post then I'll hush and leave the chart/s to you, dear reader. One curious factor is unaspected Uranus @2Tau38 stationing and set to quirkily turn Direct in 6 hours 26 minutes. Plus, evaluating Venus and radical rebel Uranus, The Witness, are in Mutual Reception (on friendly terms) with 10th house Venus visible @28AQ23 (conjunct our 1776 Moon, more or less: harmony, sociability, romance?). So disruptive Uranus in the 12th house of Politics, Large Institutions, Karma, and Self-Undoing makes no aspect to other planets, therefore its genius and inventiveness are only operable in the 12th house; brief spurts of nervous energy (ex: tweeting) may be noticed along with discontent and restlessness, plus, Uranus' natural tendency toward detachment, independence, and insistence on freedom of action are sharpened here via isolation behind the scenes. Is this an intriguing cosmic picture of witnesses testifying from or toward the secretive 12th house of Hidden Enemies? And possibly feminine witnesses in the form of Lady Venus? For or against Trump? We can't know for certain until or if such testimony is given. Or tantalizingly obstructed, as the case may be.

But one thing is certain: that Uranus in Mercurial Gemini in natal 10th house is the oriental, or guiding, planet of Donald Trump and its tendencies are definite considerations in relation to the January 10, 2019 Lunar Eclipse chart with Uranus unaspected, for it echoes Trump's chaotic, 'freedom-loving' style of so-called 'leadership' and his love of disrupting everything around him and beyond.

US Mercury-Pluto Opposition w more Pluto (by transit)

May 15, 2019: As anyone who uses one of the various July 4, 1776 horoscopes to represent America knows, our national Mercury Rx in Cancer is opposed by Pluto Rx in Capricorn. In the 5:09 pm LMT chart, below, this opposition falls across the 2/8 axis with all the Taurus-Scorpio issues it brings. And of course, the Cancer-Capricorn axis relates to security, the domestic scene, nurturance, national issues including patriotism, public status concerns, and the Capricornian realms of business, law, and government. Besides obvious surveillance and spying issues, a Mercury-Pluto opposition tends toward potentials such as an obsession with social concerns and the responsibility for solving them, fear and anxiety, competence, impatience, and a habit of becoming arrogant when challenged lest America's credibility is being questioned.

Now this post is not about the May 18 2019 Full Moon @27Sco38, the 'flower moon', but its DC Horoscope is used, below, as a transit chart set around America's natal chart, the 5:09 pm version that I most frequently use. Outside the Full Moon chart are penned Trump's natal planets highlighted in a lovely shade of lavender. And as you see in US natal 6th house, transit ('tr') Mercury @24Tau24 conjoins Trump's natal Midheaven ('MC'), The Goal Point, so with the 6th house relating to military service (among other things), we could mention Trump's apparent tendency toward war with Iran (or Venezuela, or___). But we won't.

Other than to say that he seems to be following the Bush-Cheney playbook of re-election via the waging of war (under tutelage of warhawk John Bolton--him again), and of course, a war would serve Big T as yet another distraction from his political problems at home.

Here are the DC Horoscope/s in bi-wheel form with the main point of this post to follow:

Highlighted in green: transit Pluto @23Cap00 Rx within orb of America's natal Pluto position (27Cap32) in natal 2nd house of the National Treasury opposite US Mercury @24Can11, with all three planets in retrograde motion. In 8th house of Corporatism, Big Business, Debt, and Transformation you see Trump's natal Saturn conjunct US natal Mercury, a cosmic picture of our depression, suppression, and the isolation of America he has caused. Schemes, criticism, and aggravating circumstances come along with this planetary connection as well and brings to mind Trump's 'trade war' with China and the harsh conditions it's causing or will cause our farmers and others.

Plus, Trump's natal Saturn conjunct US natal Mercury accounts in part for his limited popularity with the public while his Venus opposing US natal Pluto keys the constant emotional upsets (his and ours!) and his desire to force his and his donors' demands upon us. Trump's lack of trust in US systems and institutions is also suggested by the Venus-Pluto pairing as are organized crime, hidden wealth, and immorality.

Now it's true that multiple transits are in play right now yet the reason Mercury-Pluto with more Pluto (by transit) is highlighted here is the main point of this post. US Mercury-Pluto oppo to be 'hit' by Saturn and Pluto

Since all my current notes on this topic are penned upon the US natal horoscope, below, I'll add no text today other than to say that these Saturn and Pluto transits begin in February 2020 (the last of which perfects on January 1, 2021 conjunct and opposing our July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT positions) and their karmic energies will directly affect America's natal Mercury-Pluto opposition which is already no picnic in and of itself for its manipulative, controlling, and surveillance activities against We The People:

The Prenatal Solar Eclipse of America's Pluto Return/s

This Solar Eclipse falls into the 5 New South Saros Series with themes of benefits and peak experiences and its initial manifestation perfected on June 15, 1787 @24Gem20, near the New Moon degree (25:07) of the Uranian Mr. Trump's 'escalator announcement' of his presidential bid in June 2015. It is also the degree of the 1781 discovery of planet Uranus (24Gem27). Will the senior Mr. Trump still be around in 2021 or 2022? We'll see for it may depend on how many cheeseburgers and greasy chicken thighs he scarfs down between now and then (I'm not wishin' I'm just sayin').

Now the US natal chart here is the one I usually tend to favor because it places Cardinal World Points on the MC and IC angles of the chart along with two applicable Sabian Symbols. '1 Aries' = IC, the Foundation of the Matter) = "A Woman Rises Out of Water, a Seal Is Embracing Her" (Jones) which to me sounds like the New Atlantis as America, a 'her', across the sea from England--and America's Great Seal intended to certify official documents and based on Weishaupt's Illuminati Seal design of May 1, 1776. This, plus the natal horoscope's Ascendant degree/s ('12Sag' and '13 Sag'--see chart, lower left) suggests our nation on various levels--one of which is its Freemasonic birth of an idea/ideal that is the Founders' 'New Atlantis' in which men are capable of enlightened self-government for as Thomas Jefferson asserted,

"I have no fear that the result of our experiment will be that men may be trusted to govern themselves." (TJ July 2, 1787.) Do you think that remains the case in 2018 much less by 2021/22? If not, it's primarily due to infiltrators that have infested our country for decades now and their devilish, undermining machinations which are really paying off as they planned long ago. Some well known historic events that are associated with the Mercury-Pluto duo include: Apollo 11 Moon Landing, Alaskan Earthquake, FDR's first election, East Coast Power Blackout, and Bolsheviks take power (Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets, Michael Munkasey).

Note: Now I'm using the 5 New South Eclipse as the PE of America's Pluto Return phase in general, plus, its degree conjoins our nation's July 4, 1776 natal Ascendant in Sagittarius (late afternoon charts). However, two other Solar Eclipses perfect in year 2022 with themes that are notably plutonic and I intend to cover them in a different post as soon as I can get to it. And so as creepy Pluto in Capricorn (planet of the Underworld, secret manipulators, hidden wealth, sneaky stealth, death, sex, research and investigation, transformation and regeneration) continues plodding toward his natal degree (27Cap33) and reprises his opposition to US natal Mercury (24Can11: '25Cancer' = "A Man Wrapped in an Invisible Mantle of Power") off and on along the way, we can see in the above Eclipse chart some of the general cosmic background influences upon the first-time-ever phase of our exact Pluto Return/s--three in number. Our Pluto Return phase will activate America's surveillance pair of planets ('total awareness' aka, Big Brother) with the duo's (continued!) propensity toward secrets, gathering of information (intelligence activities), top secret communications, security clearances, self-destructive impulses in business operations, political talk of abrupt changes and reforms, breakdowns in road networks, paranoia about secrets or scandals and the leaking or disclosure of them, ruthless behavior, obsessions, eroticism, news about space exploration, orbital weapons, and/or toxins, and the need to control other people (Munkasey) when it's actually The Manipulators who need controlling.

But I would have thought the Pentagon's 'Total Awareness' mission (TIA) already had gathered such a database. Guess Trump'n'company are demanding more information on resisters and dissenters--and America's natal Mercury-Pluto opposition across the Cancer-Capricorn axis of security is always up for such 'Big Brother' shadiness.

For me this tactic is a heads-up that fibs and/or half-truths are being told repeatedly in order to force people to accept them without question. It can also be a clue that we should look in the opposite direction at what 'fib promoters' wish to hide by distraction and misdirection!

America's Mercury-Pluto, plus, Our Pilgrim Fathers

And if we look to America's natal planets concerning such sneaky topics we instantly find our national Mercury (the mental plane; thought processes; communication; commerce and sales) @25Cancer ("A Man Wrapped in an invisible Mantle of Power") opposed by powerful puppet master Pluto in the governmental, legal, and business sign of *Capricorn with Pluto the planet of Psychology, manipulation, surveillance, control, transformation, and obsession. Pluto's out-of-bounds condition on July 4, 1776 only suggests a more hidden and sinister flavor lurking within our society and hints at secret societies, invisible control, and subversion of government into the picture.

With our retrograde Mercury in Moon-ruled Cancer, the sign of self-protection (security), nurturing, family, and business, the influence of the changeable Moon (emotions) upon our thinking (Mercury) denotes a tendency to harbor unconscious desires which can cause us to consider some facts but ignore others (rationalizing for reasons we don't consciously understand), bias and prejudice that interfere with decision making, an unconscious acceptance of lies and falsehoods--and advertising which sometimes deserves the label 'false'.

And of course, this reminds us of America's intrepid Pilgrim Fathers who settled colonial America. On a personal note, it was with great surprise during recent genealogical research that yours truly, a southerner, discovered that there are a few New England Pilgrim ancestors hiding in my family woodpile whose descendants eventually headed South!

So naturally I looked up the horoscope given in The Book of World Horoscopes (N. Campion) for the Pilgrim Fathers (chart #362): December 21, 1620 6:00 am LMT Plymouth Massachusetts with Winter Solstice Sun @00Cap09 and Moon @2Sag11. There are two conjunctions in force and combining their strengths: Mars-Neptune in mid-Libra and Jupiter-Pluto both @11Taurus+ Rx. My guess is that the Mars-Neptune pair shows their deep motivation and the energy to cross the sea and actions inspired by spiritual beliefs while Jupiter-Pluto suggests religious fervor but also an enormous determination toward success, the financing of the adventure, a desire to exploit resources and expand their wealth and possessions (plutocrats), and an obsession to control everyone around them...lest someone be caught having fun while avoiding work.

July 10, 2017 Update: note that the year 2009 timed the congressionally mandated switch from analog to digital which was thus cosmically imprinted by the Great Conjunction/s of Jupiter and Neptune. Since then, subliminal symbols and images can be more easily slipped in on us. This, from a Jude's Threshold post:
