Making America Radical Again! - Thom Hartmann (via Uranus)

Now I don't yet own a copy of the book but I see from its Table of Contents that my favorite chapter (16) will probably be one dear to my heart, "Let Them Call Us Rebels - We Are All the Heirs of Thomas Paine." Now naturally, all astrologers familiar with America's July 4, 1776 Horoscope, no matter the hour used to set it up, know of the radical planet of our Revolutionary era, Uranus, @8Gemini55 in most US founding charts. US Uranus at "9 Gemini": "A Quiver Full of Arrows" = "PREPARATION...positive expression: unlimited personal capacity for rising to the issue of the moment on any level of experience; negative: querulous overconfidence and quixotic notions." (Jones). The positive we aspire to, the negative sounds just like Uranian Trump!

Confusing, obfuscating, and shading America's reputation in the world and our national self-image a la Trump, during his campaign and ultimate selection to play the POTUS role, a three-fer series began in 2016 which culminated on February 16, 2017 (just after Trump's oddball "inauguration") when 2017 Neptune hit the American Revolution's Prenatal Eclipse in Pisces. Perversely, for Uranus is the planet of perversity, Trump's guiding planet is his 10th house Uranus @17Gem53 ('18Gemini' = "Two Chinese Men Talking Chinese in a Western Crowd") bringing forward his chaotic, erratic, contrary and disruptive style of so-called leadership, so perfect for foreign leaders to exploit in their ongoing campaign to sabotage America and our global alliances. And this makes my Child of the Revolution blood boil as my Revolutionary ancestors spin in their sacrificial graves. (To my knowledge, Trump has no Revolutionary ancestors. Can't you tell?)

Meanwhile, astrological Uranus is also known as The Awakener--and as we're currently hearing in the public discourse an echo from Thomas Paine, the times have found us, my fellow Americans.

So it seems clear that if Trump's authoritarian push to replace our constitutional Republic with a lousy, sub-standard Pluto-in-Capricorn dictatorship (effectively a monarchy such as our Founders so valiantly fought against!!) - if this misguided change of direction won't awaken the American people to the fight before it's too late, then tragically nothing ever will. Of course, it isn't merely Trump attempting such a coup, it's his wealthy backers, foreign and domestic. And my suspicion is that they too know about radical Uranus and about the usefulness of Astrology as a timing device.

So in closing my fuss, here's an excerpt from a previous SO'W post, sans edits, concerning misused or abused power, revolutionary Uranus plus Neptune, and our radical Founding Father Thomas Paine--born in 1737 with an arousing Uranus-Neptune opposition:

This generational opposition also gave Thomas Paine and his contemporaries an intrinsic understanding of national and international politics for which he personally felt a responsibility to arouse the people whenever public opinion can reverse a threatening danger which may involve religious, social, and racial issues along with the political.

Such was the life and the mission of seeker Thomas Paine who died a pauper on June 8, 1809 and whose dedicated service to the Cause of Freedom I hereby honor with this post. jc.

April 2017 Progressions of Our American Revolution Planets

Recently we discussed how, beginning in 2016, transit Neptune @11Pis11 has been in process of conjoining the Prenatal Solar Eclipse that preceded the American Revolution (third of three conjunctions on Feb 16, 2017) and considering how active within The Collective (part of Neptune's realms of the Unconscious) astrological Neptune is these days with its eroding and falsifying influences, its off-and-on lack of aspects to other planets, and its Piscean 'Final Dispositor' condition (all comes back to watery, oily, gaseous, poisonous Neptune) in many recent horoscopes, perhaps a peek at the current progressions that issue from the American Revolution natal chart is in order for clues on how the energies of our founding Revolution have evolved in 2017.

Now you've certainly noticed that the words and concepts of "revolution" and "resistance" have been popping up more frequently in public discourse under the administration of one Donald Trump (who isn't as popular as he imagines--his Mercury-Neptune square distorts reality for him). In America there are currently at least two groups formed against Mr. Trump and his policies: The Resistance movement, plus, an organization called Indivisible.

As a timing device, Secondary Progressed (SP) Moon in any chart provides useful information and can help zero in on when events may occur. Below is the SP Horoscope of the American Revolution dated April 6, 2017 12:30 am 'LMT" in Lexington, Massachusetts where the American Revolution's First Shot Heard Round the World was fired. The date and hour result from SP Moon precisely conjoining SP Saturn @19Lib37 in the 11th house of Groups and Alliances and you may recognize the degree's closeness to US SP Mars Rx @18Lib+ (since 2006--our police state of militarized police forces, secret wars, civil, voters', workers', and women's rights under threat of rollback, etc):

The Hour belongs to Saturn and as you see, SP Mars of warring fame nears SP Pluto of control and coping fame in the 2nd house. Fixed stars are not used in progressions but the ones conjoining these SP planets are entered on the chart to suggest their 1775 positions progressed to our current era.

Reconsidering the Natal Chart of Thomas Paine

Recently I discovered an interesting site featuring an excerpt from Bertrand Russell's book of essays such as, Why I Am Not a Christian though I did not read far enough to find out his reason. But that's because the excerpt concerned Thomas Paine and his fate. The page contains a few typos one of which is Paine's birth year as '1739' rather than the '1737' we're accustomed to (see his natal horoscope, below).

Also mentioned is Paine's relationship with George Washington which soured once Thomas Paine was imprisoned in France for opposing the King's execution and Jacobin Robespierre's Reign of Terror. So in honor of Thomas Paine and his revolutionary pamphlets that inspired and uplifted our freedom fighters (as at Valley Forge, see eclipse link, below), I hereby pass along Paine's words describing his former friend and compatriot, George Washington, which were meant for the sculptor once Paine discovered that a statue was to be created in honor of Washington who died in 1799:

Take from the mine the coldest, hardest stone,

It needs no fashion; it is Washington.

But if you chisel it, let the stroke be rude,

And on his heart engrave--ingratitude.

As usual with Thomas Paine's writing, his opinion is clear and to the point--and based on the fact that our nation's upstanding cult figure Washington deserted Paine in his time of extreme need. Some fellow Mason George turned out to be.

The Horoscope of Thomas Paine with the Curious Transits of 2006

Details of Paine's unresolved birth data may be found at astro.com including his January 29, 1737 (OS) 11:30 am Thetford, England horoscope shown here though you may prefer his NS (New Style = Gregorian) chart dated February 9, 1737 (England was still on the Julian calendar in 1737). Around his natal chart are the intriguing transits of May 13, 2006 when the Sun conjoined his natal Chiron (22Taurus) and transit Chiron conjoined his natal Sun (9AQ), an acausal synchronicity suggesting a Chirotic bridge to multidimensional realms as Uranian principles are put into Saturnian form. Sun-Chiron identifies Paine as a unique seeker of The Quest who burned with purpose in his writings.

The reason the double transit manifested in 2006 so far eludes me but if something turns up I will let you know--like an edition of Common Sense released in early 2006 and available on Kindle because it's a must-read for Americans once again, perhaps?

Meritocracy v Plutocracy

On November 8, 2016 which will you vote for: compassionate Social Welfare or greed-drenched Social Corporatism aka, Welfare Capitalism?

Although Senator Claire McCaskill, a Hillary Clinton booster, recently demonstrated a faulty memory concerning the progressive history of the Democratic Party, Senator Sanders highlights it. And Thom recalls the 1991 invasion of Kuwait by George H. W. Bush and reads the prophetic words of Bernie Sanders delivered on the House floor, all of which have turned out to be tragically true so as I viewed the excerpt of Thom's broadcast embedded above, I hoped their interview might mention that Bush 41 had proclaimed 'Operation Desert Storm' as "a triumph of the New World Order" in part because the Soviet Union had joined or was in cahoots with the US-led Coalition.

Knowing that, it seems not so curious that we heard the Jupiterian word "coalition" ad nauseum from Bush 43, Cheney, and pals in 2002-2003 as they sold the 'advantages' of their next forays into the Middle East--even as millions of people protested in streets across the globe against the brutality and folly of these warmongering psychopaths and megalomaniacs who think to rule the world and the 2003 invasion and occupation of Iraq which, as we now see, has no expiration date.

Personality Blends of Franklin, Washington, Paine, and Jefferson

In Astrology, natal Sun (conscious) and Moon (unconscious) combinations provide details concerning a native's personality blend so it may be interesting to consider the Sun-Moon blends of four Founding Fathers: Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Thomas Paine, and Thomas Jefferson in honor of Memorial Day 2015. After all, there might have been no American Revolution--our nation's First Cause for War--without their personal involvement in the founding of America.

Here they are in chronological order of birth; all natal data but Paine's have Rodden Ratings of AA. Paine's hour of birth has been rectified and both times are given; however, since the Moon remained in Gemini the entire day of Paine's birth, we may confidently use his natal Sun-Moon blend with the rest.

The combined elements of the founding foursome show Franklin and Washington with practical Earth and Water blends (mud!), Jefferson with a high-flying, inspired Double Fire mix, and Paine possessing a Double Air (cerebral) blend. We may surmise that among these personalities, Franklin and Washington were on some practical level 'on the same page' while Paine and Jefferson had their uplifting writing talents in common. Here's some timely info concerning George Washington posted yesterday to mark his Secondary Progressed Full Moon on June 1, 2015.

The Power Principle: Empire (video) plus, Clinton Inauguration 1997

It may be difficult to fully agree with all the concepts presented in The Power Principle Part One: Empire but if you were around during the Clinton administration and remember the February 1, 1999 release of the Clinton budget which was particularly heavy on military spending and light on domestic (social) spending--you may wish to view the following video (Part One) for a hindsight view of what America was being used for and set up for at that time.

Mr. Clinton had promised us a "peace dividend" but you see on which 'garden path' that has misled our nation. It isn't for nothing that the US performs its much-touted "peaceful passing of the baton" every four years on Inauguration Day and few can fail to see that our old bosses and new bosses share more than they differ upon.

Since I wrote a piece in 2006 on the Sun to Chiron-Chiron to Sun double transit to the natal horoscope of Thomas Paine, I have read more references to Paine as a Freemason (already known) and as one of the Illuminati of his day.

And if you've read this blog before, you know I'm not fond of those who descend either biologically or ideologically from Weishaupt's Illuminati sect nor am I fond of their global domination plans which seem in 2011 to be well underway for major implementation, perhaps within the much-touted and often feared Year 2012. Yet even they are subject to the natural law of karma and must reap what they sow, much as they prefer to think otherwise.

After all, in 2012 a major market crash is predicted by astrologers and economists alike which is the 'crisis of opportunity' ploy of operatives such as Henry Kissinger and others you and I could name. For Financial Astrology of the markets, I recommend the work of mundane astrologer Theodore White at Global Astrology. Crash-forecasting economists are all over the place so you'll have no problem locating all you want.

Well, perhaps it's impossible to be certain whether Paine and his 18th century Illuminati colleagues such as Thomas Jefferson (a Freemason and Illuminatist--Ben Franklin was a Mason and Rosicrucian, plus, a Rosicrucian decoder was found at Monticello in Jefferson's effects after his death) were duped by Weishaupt's Utopian ruse of an eventual America where we'd all skip around the Sweet Williams while ripe fruit fell from the vines and "reason" would 'perfect' us, making laws unnecessary)--or, whether they were complicit in wanting to establish a totalitarian (Orwellian) regime of complete surveillance and servitude as America's eventual destiny.

Yes, I do have a difficult time meshing the legends of our Founding Fathers based on what what they did and believed in the 1770s and beyond with Weishaupt's devilish Utopian ideals for complete control of mankind. Many of America's founders were Deists yet the principles of the Age of Reason (or, Age of Enlightenment) show a strain of naivety embedded in the same old argument set up by Lucifer--that mankind doesn't need heavenly precepts but can 'do it by himself'.

Speaking as a Christian, their 'Reason Is All' illusion is bosh to me!

Of course, astrologically speaking, man's reasoning ability is a function of Mercury with one of the Enlightenment's favorite planets, Uranus (The Awakener; The Witness), acting as Mercury's higher octave of creative inspiration--the visionary idea of genius that arrives suddenly like a bolt from the blue. I suspect ace deceiver Adam Weishaupt had a lot of such moments, at least in his own estimation.

One clue concerning the awareness of our Founding Fathers of America's ultimate Illuminati-esque destiny has to be the mysterious case of the Cloaked Man in Jefferson's Garden--the one who allegedly rode up out of the darkness with the design for America's Great Seal at-the-ready as Jefferson took a break from consideration of the design along with his colleagues. Perhaps it happened that way, perhaps not. And perhaps Thomas Paine, newly returned from France, WAS that man, as some believe, and I can't deny that the theory of the mystery man's identity as Paine is plausible (and he may also have been co-author of the Declaration of Independence with Jefferson)--if so, he was acting as an agent of Adam Weishaupt when he delivered the seal.

Check out the reverse of the Great Seal, if you haven't, or look at a dollar bill if you have one. The pyramid with the all-seeing eye as capstone is certainly of a Masonic persuasion and the all-seeing eye of surveillance may be said to point forward toward intrusive spy satellites circling the Earth as I type (and agencies monitoring our blogs, websites, emails, and bank accounts!)

And the "1776" on the seal and on paper currency may not actually refer to America's founding year but to the founding by Weishaupt of the Bavarian Illuminati Society on May 1, 1776. Cussedly, we pay homage to the Illuminati by celebrating 'May Day.'

So did Paine, Jefferson, Franklin, and others look forward to the collapsing of America as a sovereign nation--the one they risked their lives, families, and fortunes to create? Is a weird, chaotic, and savage 'Utopia' just around the corner?

Well, in The Combination of Stellar Influences, Reinhold Ebertin gives Uranus in Aries, its present position, as "Utopians" so we know that since 2010 such political radicals are 'in the house'--in the 4th house of America's natal chart, Sibly version (IC 00Ari53, conjunct the Aries Point of World Manifestation (00Ari00); IC = Endings; The Drain; the HOW? Point of any chart...instruments of our nation's demise?)

Uranus to IC may also relate to the House of Congress and the anarchistic, gridlocking Tea Party members (see a list of their names in this blog's sidebar) who campaigned on returning America to her former glory--a sentiment along the lines of Weishaupt's Utopian Dream of mankind's return to the Garden of Eden. But it seems to me that if that were possible, mankind would need God's cooperation to effect such a major change! And Weishaupt was anti-religion and anti-God--sorry, but man's 'reason' just can't do it.

And neither can 'religioso' candidates Michele Bachmann or Rick Perry.

Plus, the Bush-Cheney regime bombed the Holy Land where the Garden was located to smithereens, an indefensible action if one wants to cavort in the original Eden once again, and an imperial agenda which President Obama has followed since January 2009. Of course, as noted on this blog in 2008, Mr. Obama cannot discontinue the agenda of the plutonian one-world-government types because they and their bankers installed him in the White House and can take him out at their discretion if he doesn't play the Big Game to suit them. 'They' turn up these days in horoscopes as manipulative saboteur Pluto, apex planet in dynamic patterns such as T-Squares and the Cardinal Grand Cross.

Well, soon transiting Uranus will return to Aries Point and conjoin the US IC again with much upheaval, but since I'm blogging away from home this week, I don't have my Astrology software or an ephemeris to remind me of the date. Perhaps you'll wish to check it out for the US may experience an event on or near that date which relates to the disturbing topics mentioned in this post.

Now one never knows what quirky, disruptive Uranus will catalyze into action, early, on time, or belatedly. But one thing we can depend on--that the radical Thomas Paine will not be awakening from his Eternal Rest for his work here on Earth, whatever it may have been and for whatever reason, is most definitely done.

As you know, the scientific Age of Enlightenment was marked by a Great Conjunction of futurist Uranus and dreamy Neptune at mid-Sagittarius, sign of The Seeker on a Quest. Meltdown in Japan & New Nuclear Power Plants Coming to Georgia (USA)

You know how you return home from a weekend trip and there are zillions of things to catch up with? Well, that's my situation this morning as I read the latest info I can find on the horrendous earthquakes and ongoing nuclear catastrophe in Japan, a nation of good people for whom I pray in this, their time of great trial.

Then my terra-mail is opened and I am starkly reminded of Japan's nuclear disaster bwo the recent addition to our Georgia Power electric bills: $3.79 per month for their rammed-through legislation allowing a Nuclear Construction Cost Recovery in order to build not one but two nuclear plants in my home state. This is a pay-it-forward tax since the money has been forcibly added to Georgians' power bills as of January 2011 for future construction.

(Anti-nuke protests are now going on over the globe!)

And of course, it doesn't matter if the public (whose taxpayers' will be saddled with massive costs if there's a catastrophe) wants the worrisome nuke plants or not, or if we consider them safe to live near. Georgia's well known water supply shortages seem not to matter either - millions of gallons of cool water for future meltdowns notwithstanding. Smart planning? I think not. Especially since Georgia tends toward debilitating droughts in recent years which are difficult enough to deal with without potential radiation poisoning to worry about.

Of course, dead people aren't thirsty people, are they?

So what if our nation's antiquated power grid failed during one of Georgia's extremely hot summers? Electricity and water are needed to cool down reactors! And I'm not even considering here the threat of hacking by terrorists.

Water Water No Where

Guess we Georgians could spurn water and just drink Atlanta-based Coca-Cola (not me!) all the time "going forward" - but oops! Brewing Coke takes lots of water, too. Gotta work on that pesky getting-thirsty habit, it seems, for if it comes down to drinking water or having nuclear energy, Georgia Power's thumb on the scale has decided 'what's best' for this native Georgian. It all makes me wonder just who could possibly have thought that hot, dry Georgia was a good location for two new nuclear plants.

Uranus, Earthquakes, and Sudden Disasters: Uranus to Aries Point

For years, astrologers have been expecting big events (as well as one can 'expect' with quirky Uranus, planet of The Unexpected) as The Awakener has again crossed the Aries Point of World Manifestation in 2010 and 2011. And I'm sure we've all been hoping that Uranus to AP wouldn't come to this. Hard lessons from Japan's current nightmare and the folly of placing nuclear reactors on or near fault lines reminds me that I've never considered nuclear plants to be "safe" neighbors.

So if I thought that writing a Dear John letter to the powerful power company would help this deplorable situation, I'd write and send it along - and ask pointedly for my money back for this devilish project. Something along the lines of: nuclear power is only "safe" and "clean" until the first accident occurs, you numbskulls.

Or perhaps I should delete 'you numbskulls' for a better outcome...?

Oh well. Never mind that the state of Georgia experiences infrequent earthquakes, too (name a location that doesn't, right?) At least we're the state with the mysterious Georgia Guidestones which tout (severe) population control, among other things, and apparently was commissioned in 1979 by a stranger with the pseudonym "R.C. Christian", a Rosicrucian reference, as some (such as myself) believe.

It seems that the 'purpose' of the Guidestones (unveiled publicly on March 22, 1986, Elberton, GA) relates to our Founding Deist Thomas Paine and the religious theories he expounded in his pamphlet The Age of Reason. I say this because a carving on the Guidestones states,

"Let These Be Guidestones to An Age of Reason." Voila! The Utopians are coming for us!

Well, after hearing this weekend of the earthquakes and subsequent nuclear meltdowns in Japan, both reason and common sense tell me that building more nuclear plants when you're incapable of dealing with the refuse of the ones you have - and building them on or near fault lines - is self-destructive madness and as such, is not reasonable in the least.

Julian Assange writes on The Hidden Curse of Thomas Paine; Johndro appears

Propaganda, its methods of implementation, its symbols and archetypes, and The Press are primary topics of interest to me though I'm not certain it shows through with my limited blogging hours and usual topics of news, events, and personalities. It's why I watch the Sunday morning parade of politicians and pundits on my TV - to keep an eye on their current...methods...of persuasion and dissemination of disinformation with a few true bits tossed in for a glowing patina of legitimacy.

Due to these Mercury/Pluto sorts of interests (by which our lives are so often directed insidiously and subliminally), I very much recommend to you an article by WikiLeaks' founder, editor, and spokesman The Hidden Curse of Thomas Paine.

Now Thomas Paine is an intriguing figure in US, English, and French histories and in his day he schmoozed with the likes of Adam Weishaupt, a man said to be founder of the Bavarian Illuminati (May 1, 1776) which is not to be confused with earlier Spanish orders. And though I'd always been drawn to Tom Paine's life story, and that of Benjamin Franklin with whom I share a Sun-Moon blend, Paine and many of his brethren in the cause of Liberty and Independence were too deep in the bottomless pockets of Reason for my philosophy to gain hold for humanistic secularism, that dabbler in chaotic utopianism, leaves no room and has no heart for Faith, Hope, and Charity.

It was a different time then. And it's an eventful time now with the Cardinal Points of Global Manifestation and Prominence receiving electromagnetic stimulation - infusions - off and on from such directions as expansive, abundant Jupiter and electric Uranus, both lately at or about to cross Aries Point (00Ari00), the beginning of a new cycle (Western Astrology, Tropical) for the year....in a word, Spring.

As for jolly Jupiter's orbit in real time, there is a larger cycle of about 12 years before The Hierophant/Banker/Explorer/General/Guru/Comedian returns to AP in the Tropical Zodiac (or to 2Tau22, if you prefer); for Uranus, it will be about 84 years for Mr. Unpredictability to speed round again to the Vernal Equinox Point where he is now poised before crossing over into Mars-ruled Aries. Mars/Uranus contacts are volatile, in case you haven't guessed. Restlessness and excitement are also the Uranium menu.

Historically the transit of Uranus to AP tends to bring scientific breakthroughs into awareness, but many of which in 2011 we must be very concerned for certain moral hazards and risky ventures of those who may be classified as unscrupulous men and women of Science can and have caused all manner of ills for the human race. Profit-based Science creates monsters.

The rest of the Cardinal Grand Cross of energy: 00Lib00, and 00Can/Cap00, all signify a mode of being expressed by outgoing energy which may be tapped into.

Common sense, prescience...or both?

Here's a republish of the chart from my May 2006 post on an interesting synchronicity which occurred Saturday, May 13, 2006 when the transiting Sun conjuncted Tom Paine's natal Chiron (which, of course, he never realized he had--Chiron was discovered in 1977), and simultaneously transiting Chiron conjoined his natal Sun.

The inside chart is his natal chart, btw, labeled 'NS' which should read Old Style (OS, Julian).

Sun 2 Chiron + Chiron 2 Sun: Thomas Paine

On Saturday, May 13, a rather curious double transit transpires involving the natal chart of Thomas Paine: tr Sun to Chiron just when tr Chiron conjuncts natal Sun!

Amazingly, transit Sun 22Tau52 = natal Chiron 22Tau52, and tr Chiron 9AQ46 = natal Sun 9Aq43, 10th house of public reputation/honor (the wider world) while Sun to Chiron is in the behind-the-scenes 12th house of karma--where secret deals are made.

First we may wish to consider the significance of the Sun/Chiron combination:

Chiron connecting to any planet "Chiroticizes" it and pushes or forces the planet's energies to new levels of awareness of its destiny. The Sun is related to destiny and purpose, so this particular connection is very important in any chart.

The situation is quincunxial in nature: that is, it signifies a special life purpose which involves what is usually an impossible adjustment which must be made--the "square peg in the round hole" feeling with back-against-the-wall issues which are crisis-ridden and often dire.

And since America is in dire straits in so many ways, this double emphasis occurring in one of our Founding Fathers' charts may be instructive concerning our circumstances, I'm thinkin'. Let's see if that is so...

As Chiron relates to the synchronicity principle as an acausal state (it cannot be explained on the physical level) we'll check out the Sabian Symbols for the various affected degrees, and we'll note that natal Chiron is, in fact, spot-on the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction of May 28, 2000. This indicates that something about this double transit relates to that time and to the Jup-Sat cycle in general (now squaring off again--crisis stage), for be-here-now Chiron indicates an intersection of past with future...

And so Chiron transits point out when the archetypal nature of an experience can suddenly reveal itself. There is frequently an AHA! reaction--a peak experience described by the contact of Chiron to a natal planet with accompanying insights pertaining to the unfolding of a life-changing event--even "unfinished business from the past"!

Now I know Tom Paine died lonely and discredited because of his religious views (Age of Reason), but I think we in 2006 can forgive him that esp when you consider his invaluable work on behalf of American independence and his uplifting of the common good. And it is the common good which is in such short supply as the US military industrial complex continues its insidious coup of our formerly free nation and of our government.

The cycle of Chiron also relates to woundings, awakenings, and realizations of how our life commitments seek to manifest in the outer world--and with Old Tom being long-gone, it seems it is up to us to carry on his work on America's behalf. His wounds--which are also gifts--are on display, thanks to astrology.

Particularly, the contact of Chiron to Sun shows where there is a strong sense of destiny unfolding, and it seems obvious to me, if I have explained myself with any amount of clarity or tact here--that this relates to our nation this Very Day.

Using both the 9/10 AQ and the 22/23 Taurus degrees in the Jones version (MEJ), and in the Rudhyar (DR), with one interpretation amplifying the other:

(MEJ) Chiron-Sun "9AQ": "A flag turned into an eagle that crows"> DRAMATIZATION...
The loyalties of human beings are the foundation of any possible society, and any individual prospers as he springs to action in their defense.

And synchronistically enough, Saturday also happens to be International Migratory Bird Day!

With Thomas Paine's past loss of the public's good will due to his promotion of reason above spirit, is it time to re-evaluate the still-dripping wound caused by the Reason vs Religion Split from which mankind still suffers?

Is it possible this Split is a false argument? Shouldn't one support the other if rightly understood?

Many people believe this wound is the basis of our current ills (along with greed and avarice, of course...let's not forget Washington's favorite past times...and that of a few other people you and I could name.)

There is also tr Pluto (power) opposing natal Neptune (ideals; dreams) which indicates ruling powers being challenged by those who hold conflicting ideals. So if you haven't noticed that neocon war hawks are in process of undermining America's original ideals...hello? Anybody there?!

And if you consider Saturday's double transits of Sun to Chiron/Chiron to Sun for our Tom, it could be realization time that to reach higher realms is a possibility for those who make the honest effort and open themselves to the spiritual energies which are all around us like doves over troubled waters.
