Gavin Newsom and Election Day 2024

Anyone who has viewed the AA-rated natal horoscope of California Governor Gavin Newsom might have marveled at his Uranus-Pluto Conjunction in Virgo rising just underneath his natal Ascendant (21Vir14). Bascially, Uranus in Virgo suggests an urge to reform, and a good intellect, yet tactless frankness can be a negative. (Maturity and experience have mitigated such an off-putting tendency although gaffes remain possible.) Then his Pluto in Virgo hints at scientific interests, the inquisitive mind of a collector, and reveals one who achieves much with simple means (R. Ebertin).

Of course, the transformative Uranus-Pluto Conjunction peaked during the mid-1960s prior to the Governor's birth in 1967. Yet it's still influential upon him, no doubt, with its reformist energies, elevation of consciousness tendencies, inventiveness, and technical and mechanical skills which resonate well with his Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') in reliable Taurus in the 5 North Saros Series with themes of 'visions, hunches, and prophetic dreams' (B. Brady).

The last time a 5 North Eclipse manifested was on June 10, 2021 @20Gemini so 5 North themes will be re-activated and increased by a conjunction from Election 2024 Jupiter which denotes that ethics and moral values are involved, plus, issues relating back to Summer 2021 may resurface (not that they've entirely gone away). For context, you may wish to check out events of June 2021, a very busy and significant month across the globe.

Now just for the sake of comparison, here's a bi-wheel of charts with Gavin Newsom's natal horoscope (inner) and the Election Day 2024 Horoscope (outer) that I tend to use, set for Election 2024 Moon's entry into governmental Capricorn, the sign of Gavin Newsom's ambitious Moon as it happens, and suggesting that voters will be in a serious, no-nonsense mood on Election Day 2024 although some folks might entertain unusual perspectives (Venus out-of-bounds) or, will 'sit this one out':

Highlighted in green is beneficial Jupiter precisely conjunct his natal Midheaven ('MC'), the visible point of Career and Public Status, and in Gemini, signifying many contacts and communications with the public (MC). However, transit Jupiter simultaneously opposes Newsom's natal Mars (conjunct his IC), a transit that can disrupt the vibes of Jupiterian good fortune at MC. Perhaps his domestic scene will go less well than professional matters in 2024 which may or may not involve national politics. However, some hint of overblown or extravagant projects being 'too large to handle' could be involved, even collapse, at this time. Positive support from others could naturally help with any negative possibilities, yet we know that 'this too shall pass' as planetary transits and conditions always do.

Meanwhile, 2024 Venus @22Sag40 (sign of the outsider) crosses into his 4th house (home renovation?) where she finds natal Mars (20Sag53) which suggests meeting someone new, but may also indicate joint ventures with allies and/or partners. This transit will be favorable for political and/or financial activities along with the planet of good fortune, Jupiter, at Midheaven, aided by the fact that Governor Newsom's natal Jupiter @28Leo28 conjuncts royal Regulus (a promise of fame, recognition, and high position) and leads a Locomotive shape of his natal planets (followed by pleasant Venus) so that great determination toward success is indicated. These potentials should be the case for anyone wanting a successful career in politics, and theatrical talent is always a plus.

Then through our astrological lens, we see that Governor Gavin Newsom is an Air-Earth Sun Libra-Moon Capricorn personality combination of conscious-unconscious energies. Internal blockages via his Sun-Moon square suggest a need to focus on objectives, along with potentials for pragmatism, diplomacy, and the skillful management of people (what better for a politician?) In fact, this particular blend is "the just politician"! Newsom is formidable yet likeable, shrewd, fair, and a believer in law and order. Ambitious and determined to achieve, Governor Newsom prefers leading a team yet he also likes his solitude. Possessing high standards, he tends toward perfectionism, and may show a streak of snobbery upon occasion.

Now here's a quote from a political activist who also was born with the same Sun Libra-Moon Capricorn blend, Bobby Seale:

"We must start coming forth with our energies...our intellects, and our abilities to see what is right and what must be done, so the suffering will stop, and the phrase 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness' begins to make some human sense."

Now admittedly as an East Coaster, I personally know little of Gavin Newsom who began serving as governor of California in January 2019 just as his Wikipedia page informs us. And many folks know that until 2006, he and Kimberly Gilfoyle were married for five years before she became - whatever it is she's become. Note that Ms. Gilfoyle's natal horoscope (March 9, 1969 10:29 pm pst San Francisco, CA) is also rated AA for accuracy and reveals a steamy, even scalding Water-Fire Sun Pisces-Moon Sagittarius personality blend which can tend toward misplaced enthusiasms yet can show compassion and a very creative imagination. Then does it make any sense that Kimberly Gilfoyle shares her natal personality blend with none other than social meddler extraordinaire Rupert Murdoch?

Election 2024, DeSantis, and Vatican II

If you've read the Wikipedia page concerning Ron DeSantis you know quite a few details about the 2024 presidential hopeful. Having posted previously that the Election 2024 planets weren't all that encouraging for him, this post is intended to somewhat amend that opinion. One major transit that gave me pause about a victory for DeSantis is tr Pluto opposing his natal Jupiter (@1Le043), not always a beneficial condition for political or financial activities due to powerful external challenges. However, November 2024 Mars in Leo, sign of natural leadership, will conjunct his Jupiter suggesting an expanded or exaggerated part to play in events.

In other words, Election Day 2024's forceful, even brutal, Mars-Pluto opposition contains the natal Jupiter of Ron DeSantis which obviously can have military implications (or militia?), and/or suggests potentials such as: good outcomes when using extreme measures (M. Munkasey), and/or usual success (R. Ebertin). Not potentials I had hoped for previously, but there it is.

So below you see a bi-wheel of horoscopes:

Inner is the November 5, Election Day 2024 chart, timed by the day's Moon reaching 00Cap00:00 (Capricorn, sign of government, law, and business) at 10:17:17 am EST, surrounded by a 'noon' natal chart for Ron DeSantis, born 14th of September 1978 in Jacksonville, Florida. Prominent planetary contacts are circled, plus two significant natal midpoints are Angular in the November 2024 Lunar-timed horocope of the presidential election: n Mars-Pluto = MC, and his n Moon-Venus = Ascendant (these midpoint pictures are only speculative so consider them gingerly).

Also note that in his natal chart, DeSantis' Pluto @15Lib36 conjuncts one of the power asteroids, Hidalgo (the social climber), and as you see, his Pluto conjuncts 2024 Midheaven ('MC" = The Goal: power, control, wealth). Meanwhile, 2024 Sun conjuncts his Uranus (@13Scorpio, and ruthless in Scorpio) and, as noted, 2024 Mars @00Leo29 conjuncts his natal Jupiter which opposes US Inaugural Sun (@00AQ+ with transit Pluto conjunct it: dictatorship?). This planetary pile-up makes for a powerful Sun-Mars-Jupiter-Pluto connection for a politician I suspect is a social climber determined to rule the roost (see 'Sun Sco-Moon Cap' notes penned on the chart, upper left, which include Puritanism). Other planetary contacts are noteworthy but I must depend on you, dear reader, to find them.

Now previously, we've discussed the Sun Virgo-Moon Aquarius personality blend of Ron DeSantis, if you'd care for a look. This pragmatic combination of conscious-unconscious energies tends to turn "dry as dust" and become stuck in cost-effective mode, you know (Sun Sign-Moon Sign, by Charles and Suzi Harvey #ad).

Now since no accurate birth hour for Governor DeSantis is known, you may also wish to check out a page concerning Ron DeSantis' time of birth with Libra rising. His chart has been rectified via events such as his marriage and past election wins, plus, the deaths of his grandparents. No, I've not gone through these timings myself, but I link to the page of persuasive potentials for the curious reader.

Astro-Notes: A New House Minority Leader

Promotion is in the air in Washington DC, for today, House Democrats elected Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) to the position of House Minority Leader beginning in early January 2023, and replacing Nancy Pelosi. Both a 9:00 am est and 12:00 pm Horoscope of the 118th Congress have been published previously if you'd care for a look.

Meanwhile, the following is a brief overview concerning the natal planets of Hakeem Jeffries born August 4, 1970 in Brooklyn, NY (grew up in Crown Heights, a part of Poughkeepsie NY); no birth hour is available so noon is used; his Wikipedia page provides more biographical details.

First here's an unmarked (by my messy study notes) noon horoscope with aspect grid:

And below is the messy version of the very same noon horoscope where we find Rep. Jeffries' Saturn in Taurus leading a BOWL shape of planets and denoting one who advocates for a cause or leads a mission with Neptune Rx in Scorpio in wide opposition (6A20) to Saturn. This suggests becoming responsible in public matters such as social work, yet with a possible hint of secret activities (if nothing else, political work fills that bill all by itself).

In addition, finances are involved (Taurus-Scorpio axis) which must in part refer to the constant task of soliciting donors as congressional politicians must continually do; (other activities in the sphere of finance are unknown to me at this point, but perhaps we'll discover more as his tenure goes on - and we should also note that he's a corporate lawyer, or was one).

Then as you see, his energetic Sun-Mars Conjunction reveals him to be a fighter with Leo the sign of the natural leader. This solar conjunction works well with his authoritative Saturn (planet of law, government, and business) leading all his planets in conservative, stable Taurus, a money sign of growth, investment, and preservation, and his Leo-Virgo combination of conscious-unconscious energies reveals an intellectual, analytical, and dedicated blend devoted to duty, and demanding, exacting Saturn in Fixed Taurus approves!

One interesting natal chart factor that the lack of an accurate birth time doesn't affect - and is a cosmic link to soon-occurring events - is that Minority Leader Jeffries was born into an 8 North Solar Eclipse Series (March 7, 1970 @16Pis44) with any eclipse in Pisces identifying individuals gifted with the highest level of spiritual awareness, and also a potential for esoteric interests. However, Pisces also links the new House Minority Leader to issues of secrecy and to karmic relationships. For information on this, I'd look at his intense Venus-Pluto Conjunction in Virgo!

Yet the point is, 8 North repeats on April 8, 2024 @19Aries (conjunct Chiron) as yet another Great American Eclipse (#3 of 3) with themes of 'inventiveness, visions, and flashes of genius' (B. Brady). Well, as you know, eclipses are always karmic in nature so we might wonder if fated conditions will be involved for Hakeem Jeffries in 2024 such as participation in a presidential race. Certainly, 2024 will, at the least, be a significant year for the visionary Mr. Jeffries. Yet it seems notable to me that the rounded-up degree of his natal Chiron is "11 Aries" = "The President of the Country," and his recent Chiron Return was a three-fer with the third return occurring on or about February 21, 2022.

A Chuckle for America's First Ladies!

If you've so far managed to miss Drunk History's America's First Ladies where among others, our nation's first female president Edith Wilson takes a bow, please remedy the oversight as soon as possible. For as many people know, the more We the People ridicule and parody US politicians and the misruling class, the better for our collective sanity.

My motto? Never allow a corrupt politician to escape an abundance of well-earned mockery! And include their donors and other enablers however and whenever you can.

After all, once a politician's exalted ego seeks the limelight and microphone, he or she morphs into a public figure - and therefore they belong to us to toy with as we please! And whatever propped up facade or mask of disguise they hide behind, it must be punctured so that reality sets in and our country's problems can be honestly addressed, even solved.

Dec 7, 2022 Full Moon Spotlights Infamy

In a Gullible World Morality in War is M.I.A.

Embedded within our country's collective memory is the "date that will live in infamy," as cited by FDR, and known as the Attack on Pearl Harbor carried out just before 8:00 am local time on December 7, 1941 (Honolulu, Hawaii).

Synchronistically, a cosmic time link is in process because December 7, 2022 brings a Full Moon @16Gem02 conjunct 1941 Jupiter Rx @16Gem30; this suggests a link to moral and ethical values yet with 1941 Sun opposing Jupiter, we might suspect that egotistical goals must have muddied the morality of the situation, as war always does. For when a population is 'lied into war', the entire endeavor is marred by deception, fraud, and illusion. Understandably, disillusionment with leaders inevitably follows and We the People lose trust in our government. This we know, for lies have been used against the American people in subsequent years to galvanize the US military into action, among other misguided activities (US 1776 Mars-Neptune square).

In view of this, let's note that a certain conspiracy theory has been proposed through the decades: that the FDR administration knew ahead of time of the 1941 attack but declined to intervene so that the US could "righteously" declare war upon Japan (with Congress necessarily aiding and abetting through an official declaration). If so, FDR's war declaration of December 8, 1941 was not righteous at all, but a mere ruse perpetrated with 1941 Node Node @17Virgo conjunct FDR's natal Uranus Rx rising: reformist politics; radical new ideas; meeting with unusual people.

Also notable in the 1941 Attack Horoscope shown below, is that the Mars-Chiron midpoint (the 'sacred warrior' duo) @15Gem00 conjuncts the goal-oriented Gemini Sun, while the 7:52 am LT Midheaven ('MC'; The Objective) holds the pair of fated questing upon it: Sun-Chiron @14Lib52 - and with US 1775 Saturn @14Lib48 conjunct MC as well. The goal? Roping in Congress for the consolidation and legalization of presidential authority (to wage war).

And of course, Chiron is associated with bombs, wounds, and the atomic power that Harry Truman later used to decimate Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, and which, as the American people are always told, helped end WWII. Now there's a morality issue extraordinaire.

So I wonder: was retaliation for the Attack moral justification to use nuclear power as the ultimate goal of a far-sighted America aided by Nazi scientists brought over to work in the US after WWII (aka, Operation Paperclip), so that the power struggle and grabbing of Germany's weapons secrets had to begin with a delaration of war against Japan? This is a simplistic question, I agree, but on this 'Black Friday' 2022, I'm just typing out loud as Luna waxes toward fulfillment and complete awareness, culminating in mid-Gemini on December 7, 2022, and spotlighting the 81st anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor, a horrific event which occurred under the auspices of a 16 North Solar Eclipse with its themes of Uranus-Neptune-inspired 'illumination' and 'bright ideas' (B. Brady).

Then perhaps a quick look at a bi-wheel of 1941 vs 2022 planets could be instructive regarding the aggressive, expansive United States of America, currently under siege by hostile forces both foreign and domestic. Nov-Dec 2022 New and Full Moons in DC

Besides the ongoing generational transits of our US Pluto Return, all through 2022, and transit Neptune in shady Pisces opposing US 1776 Neptune in factual Virgo, below you see the DC Horoscopes of the November 23, 2022 New Moon @1Sag38 (lower left) timing a new cycle of activity and the seeding of plans, along with the December 7, 2022 Full Moon @16Gem07 of response, culmination, fulfillment, and awareness conjunct 'testy' Mars Rx, perigee, and out-of-bounds ('OOBs') of the earthly plane, as are Moon, Mercury, and Venus:

The nearness of activist Mars in unstable Gemini to the December 7th Full Moon adds a decided urge to bring plans to fruition but can also increase tendencies toward quarrels and intolerance (see upper right corner). And it's worth noting that any New Moon may behave in similar Uranian fashion to a solar eclipse (revelations, disruption and/or a change of direction) and here, with money planet Jupiter ruling or dispositing the New Moon, the condition of New Moon Jupiter @28Pis47 is made more prominent because the Great Benefic is at Retrograde ('Rx') Station and in process of turning Direct in 5 minutes 01 second @28Pis47:54 with the critical degree of 29Gem59 rising in Washington DC and very near the Cardinal Point (00Cancer00) of World Events.

Radical Uranus in Taurus: More Trouble in 2024

These days, most people would agree that Donald Tr*mp is nothing if not a furiously enraged, malevolent schemer (aka, our orange albatross, as I term him). And perhaps a dear reader or two may remember Trump's 'Furious Storm' Eclipse of January 5, 2019 in the 2 South Saros Series when a variety of folks were inspired to join unusual groups because they would "gain a great deal" from it (B. Brady). The delusional 'QAnon' is certainly one of said 'groups' although the pay-off from joining the off-kilter movement seems dubious at best since its campaign to undermine America and democracy continues apace and, if successful, its gullible members wouldn't fare any better under such a draconian boot than the rest of us.

Yet the so-called 'QAnon' used in the US is only one facet of a fascist-nazi movement of global proportions which has once again reared its barbaric head after decades of fermenting underground with the eventual intention of taking over the US government and destroying democracy - I believe in time for Election 2024, then catapulting its barbarism and theft toward Inauguration 2025 (if the January 20th ceremony can even be called a "presidential inauguration" via a traditional "peaceful transfer of power"). We might wonder what kind of "Oath of Office" would it be? Or, if successfully taken, will the crass authoritarian movement masquerade itself while continuing to rob us blind? I cannot pretend to know but I do know that, as in the 1940s, anti-societal authoritarianism must be stopped. Again.

Eclipses: Uranian 'Cosmic Blinks' and 'Wild Cards'

Now there've been multiple cosmic signals blinking furiously on the road to Fascism in America and many signals have been noted here on SO'W, perhaps most prominently via the repetitions in our era of the Fascism Rising Eclipse (its series to repeat in 2023) and the Nazis Rise to Power Eclipse, its series repeating right now, and cycling up conditions that have made it easier for the lamentable GOP take-over of the House through the use of its primary theme of 'forcefully taking power' (B. Brady). In fact, the forceful gerrymandering of districts in red states has much if not everything to do with their long-planned 'success' at Midterms 2022. And it was a compromised SCOTUS that allowed partisan gerrymandering.

However, if you've followed the Rachel Maddow Presents Ultra podcast, which just dropped its final episode today (#8 of 8), you've been filled in concerning German fascists working in the US in the 1930s into 1940s, with episode one opening with the mildly labeled Trip 19 Plane Crash (horoscope shown) which killed (assassinated) Nazi sympathizer-agent, Republican Senator Ernest Lundeen on August 31, 1940, plus, other officials, passengers, and crew unfortunate to be on the flight.

Of cosmic significance to America now is the position of the planet of zealous anarchy and coup attempts, Uranus - on August 31, 1940 @26Tau08:49 - conjunct and therefore intensifying the vicious, malevolent star of fury and rage, Algol - and soon returning to its 1940 position in what I consider to be a horoscope describing an event of sabotage.

Therefore, below is a Horoscope of the second of three Uranus Return/s to this degree (@27Cancer = "A Furious Storm Rages Through a Residential Canyon"; ex: Trump's 'Furious Storm' Eclipse, as noted, above), displayed here because the Return of 1940 Uranus occurs on October 25, 2024 just prior to Election 2024 to be held November 5th ('coincidentally' the infamous anniversary date of Britain's anti-government Gunpowder Plot of 1605, as you know).

Shout-Out: President Biden and Herr Trump

A Hidden Factor Revealed is Tr*mp's natal Mars-Ascendant @26-30Leo (conjunct kingly Regulus) completing a YOD pattern of crisis with the Neptune-Pluto sextile forming its base. And as you know, the Neptune-Pluto pairing can represent several potentials of a spiritual nature, but also signifies the criminal underworld for which Tr*mp acts as figurehead in the US.

Additionally, we should note that their sextile also involves Joe Biden for, as it happens, President Biden's natal Scorpio Sun and Venus rise in the chart with 2024 Neptune trining them which suggests potentials for doors to easily open, spirituality to be promoted, and sources of his success and good fortune to be mysterious or difficult to identify; Neptune trine his Venus indicates cooperation in his endeavors. However, rising in this particular horoscope in relation to the Uranus Return to the planet's 1940 position in an assassination chart, and considering the aid from transit Neptune, Mr. Biden's tendency to see only the ideal in people and situations can cause troubles and reversals that democracy can ill afford. If he experiences a lack of clarity concerning these issues, or falls under the spell of a tragic deception or illusion, America will have to face the authoritarian peril without strong enough leadership from the White House. Therefore, others must step up more firmly than ever.

Also notable is that activist Mars @26Can23 conjuncts Biden's natal Jupiter Rx (25Can08) so the Democratic president's part in events is expansive and can activate improvements during the current fascist vs democracy power struggle which is starkly shown by transit Pluto opposing Biden's natal Jupiter for some time now.

So in closing - and believe me when I type that it pains me as an American with Revolutionary ancestors to feel compelled to mention this - the current 6 South Eclipse which manifested on October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio in the 'Nazis Rise to Power' series is a repetition of the very first of three Great American Eclipses from way back in 1878 with #3 arriving in April 2024. So please check out the 1878 eclipse horoscope, if you will, and know that the deadly seriousness of these cosmic and earthly events and threats against democracy are obvious warning signals that no American should ignore, and that such malevolent forces have been stirring for centuries with an evil determination that few folks in our day can easily believe.

As Astrology makes plain, timing is everything and Herr T is attempting to be strategic as he often does, spurred by a constant quest for wealth, and with a desperate desire not to die in prison.

So my primary points with this morning's post are:

1. transit Mars Rx, hot and perigee in Mercury-ruled Gemini is aggravating the orange albatross' 10th house trio (Uranus-NN-Sun) while opposing his natal Sagittarian Moon conjunct South Node (enraged and motivated by a desire to exact vengeance on his enemies = most of humanity) so unforced mistakes will be made. One such is that his support is not as bolstering as he thinks it is.

2. His prez bid announcement for 2024 on the evening of November 15, 2022 (a diversion from the Mike Pence book launch earlier that day) shows Mars almost exactly conjunct the testy planet's position in the 2015 New Moon prez bid announcement horoscope when the dictator-wanne-be made his escalator descent to speak before a paid audience and tout his racist intentions. Basically, his 2024 bid is a Mars Return which he hopes will kickstart America into another descent into the death cult fantasy world of a very sick man looking for life-saving escape hatches.

But for today, let's look ahead, not behind, for a view of the predictive New Moon Prior to Election 2024 @9Sco35. This lunar synchronicity should function as a heads-up for pro-democracy voters because, even if Tr*mp himself isn't running in the 2024 race, the Election 2024 Scorpio Moon amounts to a Moon Return (his voters) to the Inauguration 2017 Horoscope - and that's the deja-vu that Herr T so desperately wants to replay in order to further his quest for gold, renown, and vengeance.

President Biden: Solar Return 2022 Horoscope

Earlier this week we looked at the current Jupiter Return Horoscope of President Biden with his Jupiter Rx exalted in Cancer, a chart that's 'good for' approximately 12 years.

Now, with the President's 80th birthday arriving in a few days, here's a view of Joe Biden's Solar Return 2022 Horoscope set for the White House, and with a few study notes penned on; this chart is 'good for' a year until his next birthday in November 2023. Here, his 2022 SR Moon is posited in cooperative, diplomatic, harmonious Libra, and his Solar Return ('SR') Sun is in the 6th house of Work, Service, Daily Rounds, and Health. Meanwhile, SR 2022 Ceres, asteroid of democracy, sits atop Mr. Biden's natal Midheaven ('MC'), the Goal Point.

Then as you see, rising is Mr. Biden's natal 7th house of Partnerships and Alliances along with his Saturn-Uranus conjuntion in Gemini, a tense, persevering, and sometimes violent duo (see center of the chart for a few notes). When ascending, the Saturn-Uranus pair indicates difficult circumstances, yet for President Biden (Sun), we also see a bracing trio involving his Sun which is notated at the top of the chart and makes clear his power and success.

Besides this, US 1776 Uranus (@8Gemini) rises which often relates to being able to cope with unexpected events and conditions; Mercury is chart-ruler and makes only one applying aspect which is notated, lower left.

In addition, we find transiting North Node ('NN') with its joining energies pointing toward US Inaugural Ascendant in mid-Taurus (Oath of Office Jan 20th 12:00 pm est) and suggesting Mr. Biden's singular and beneficial accomplishments during his first term. In fact, the phrase 'outstanding in his field' comes to mind!

So, yes, difficulties lie ahead for President Biden during his personal year, but hopefully his 2022--2023 trip around the Sun will also bring satisfaction and successful efforts on behalf of America!

With nary a study note penned upon it, below is President Joe Biden's current Jupiter Return Horoscope set for June 24, 2014 and operative until his next Jupiter Return (actually a three-fer return in 2025 and 2026) in Jupiter's 11.6-year cycle of reward and expansion.

This is a printable copy which includes the Return's aspect grid where we see that Mr. Biden's Jupiter is at the bends and thus denotes issues that must be dealt with with (square the Nodal Axis in the Aries-Libra polarity: karma between family vs external relationships/the public; his Catholic religion is also involved). Then as you see, Jupiter is posited in Return 5th house of Risk-Taking, Creative Pursuits, and Children, and receives a sextile of opportunity from the Taurus Moon (Biden's natal Moon = 00Tau59 in natal 5th house - conjunct Herr Adolf's natal Sun so Joe instinctively understands what were the Austrian dictator's possessive, intolerant, materialistic Taurean goals).

Additionally, Mr. Biden's Jupiter inconjuncts Return Midheaven @23Sag21 suggesting that career adjustments have been needed by Mr. Biden in order to attain his Jupiterian goals of political leadership. Perhaps this represents on one level his rise from VP to POTUS which may have been his goal all along! Then if we use the Return Midheaven as a point where Moon-Jupiter's sextile energies ('a ray of hope' - A. Oken) can be beneficially released and utilized, a YOD pattern appears, and women's issues (Moon-Jupiter) become part of our political, social, and religious dialogues and must be dealt with, as noted, in the visible 10th house. This fortuitous cosmic condition of the sextile has helped Jupiterian Joe Biden to triumph over Herr T's 'Big Lie', a negative Mercury-Neptune square condition of misguided perception, falsehood, fraud, and fantasy-spinning.

YOD Pattern of Crisis and Opportunity

Moon sextile Jupiter points toward Return Midheaven and shines a cosmic spotlight upon the karmic December 14, 2020 4 South Eclipse @23Sag08. As it turned out, 4 South's vibes of discontent and the 'desire to end relationships' hasn't only been on the side of the brutal Tr*mpians, but also describes the December 14, 2020 electors doing what the rest of us wanted: voting Joe Biden into the White House.

Because, as you see in the Return 2014 chart, President Biden's Jupiter Return Midheaven @23Sag21 was conjoined by the Electoral College Vote Eclipse of December 14, 2020 in the discontented 4 South Saros Series - on the day that the Electoral College Vote elected Mr. Biden, and the one that Tr*mp and his comrades (what's left of them in late 2022) can't stop squawling and grousing over how 'rigged' and 'stolen' the 2020 Election was. My guess: Herr T must be the mouthiest sore loser in the world.

Well, if Election 2020 was stolen, this common-good Southerner admits to being heartily thankful that modern day fascists and neo-nazis have received gracious helpings of comeuppance for the sake of democracy - at the recent Midterms 2022 Elections and in November 2020!

Yet we know that it's not the time to abandon our pro-democracy efforts since barbarian coup plotters certainly aren't done causing trouble, division, upheaval, violence, and strife in our country. For example see The Dangerous Eclipses of 2023.

Joe Biden, Democracy, and the Democratic Party

As for our Democratic President Joe Biden's Jupiter in Cancer 'Mothering the World', this resonates closely with democracy's protective and nurturing functions, and with the asteroid that signifies democracy: Ceres - which also represents the mother archetype! Obviously, contrasts may be made with the Republican Party's tendency toward strong-armed paternalism and misogyny against women but such musings are beyond the scope of this post.

So! If, dear reader, you print out the above chart, or set up one of your own, the horoscope will prove handy for following planetary transits (including eclipes) to its planets and Angles as cosmic timers for events - especially transits to the Angles - for they will affect the Jupiterian hopes and goals of President Joe Biden, and, through his presidency, will positively or negatively affect America and the American people.
