Saturn hits Trump's Mercury-Neptune Square twice more

October 1, 2018: just a note to say that twice more this year will transit Saturn in early Capricorn 'hit', activate, or limit Donald Trump's natal Mercury-Neptune square of fantasy, falsehood, indiscretion, and misguided perceptions. Saturn represents truth, reality, accountability, authenticity, the legal system, systems in general, and The Establishment along with karmic rewards or losses, whichever applies.

On November 11, 2018, transit Saturn @5Cap50 squares his natal Neptune (5Lib50 in natal 2nd house) at 4:11 am est in Washington DC with trump's natal Jupiter 17Lib27 SD rising. Transit Pluto @19Cap10 sits upon the IC (19Cap34) of this DC horoscope so Saturn rules the 4th house. The Moon @2Cap41 nears Saturn, a pair indicating emotional depression, or alternately, ambition, direction, and strategy. The 12th house of Politics and Karma holds Trump's natal Neptune and his natal Chiron, the Wound or Blind Spot, which sits between his Jupiter and Neptune, the pair of speculation, grand dreams, fraud, over-promising, Ponzi and other get-rich-quick schemes.

Then on December 10, 2018, transit Saturn @8Cap51 again opposes Trump's natal Mercury (8Can51 in his natal 11th house of Associations and Groups). This time, Luna is again in Capricorn but has left Saturn and nestles up against powerful Pluto (enraged women? abortion issues?). Lady Venus, direct and back in sexy, brooding Scorpio after her recent retrograde sojourn in her own sign of Libra, rises @4Sc049 and rules 12th and 7th houses in the opposition chart. Dogmatic bluntness is a feature of the December 10th chart (Sun Sag-Moon Cap) while the November 11th chart with its Scorpio vibes naturally shows more judgmental, control, and detective leanings. One who shares the Sun Sco-Moon Cap blend is Marcel Ophuls who aptly reminds us that,

"Puritanism...helps us enjoy our misery while we are inflicting it on others."

Or perhaps it should be author George Eliot (Mary Ann Evens: Sun Sco-Moon Cap) with the final quote in this Trump-related post since her observation aptly describes so many members of the modern political class including our erstwhile Mr. Trump:

"He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow."

Horoscope: Lindsey Graham w Sept 27, 2018 Planets

The Wikipedia page of Senator Lindsey Graham provides basic details about his life including early life in South Carolina, his military service, and more. Now as you know, the senator threw quite a snit of miffdom over the treatment by Democrats of Judge Brett Kavanaugh this week with what was intended to be the senator's 'mic drop' moment. So, in honor of His Miffdom, I'm finally getting around to displaying a 'noon' version (birth time unknown) of Graham's natal horoscope set for July 9, 1955 in Central, SC:

Also around the chart are a couple of Trump's natal placements which include Graham's natal Pluto @25Leo12 conjunct Trump's natal Mars, an explosive combination suggesting the power in their relationship is somehow weighted on the side of Senator Graham.

A strong midpoint exists with his Mercury-Neptune trine and Pluto at their apex; its potentials are noted on the chart as is Graham's Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') @28Gemo4 in the 11 South Saros Series; 11 South themes are penned on the chart. A Mercury-Neptune trine is often seen in charts of media figures and suggests one who is empathetic and can see many sides of the issues (Oken). This planetary pair is the one that gives Trump (and everyone else) so much trouble which, in a square for him, expresses as falsehoods, fantasy-world living, indiscretion, and misconceptions about others.

A Bucket shape shows a singleton Moon @7Pis54, the focal point of his energies and an executive-power indicator determined on success. Subconscious stirrings appear as the Bucket shape denotes one who adapts his allegiances to wherever they can count for the most (Jones) and my suspicion is that 'wherever' for the senator has turned him into a promoter of Mr. Trump's party of used-to-be Republicans...Moon @8Pisces: "A Girl Blowing a Bugle"--or, a Trump-et.

And with Lindsey Graham's natal Sun in mid-Cancer, we know that transit Pluto has recently opposed his natal Sun, a time when ego-bruises are possible, power struggles and no-compromise situations are in process, and the abuse of power or influence is a temptation. Yet also refusing to be a victim of manipulators is a potential as well and I suspect that's exactly what was seen during his snit of miffdom concerning the Kavanaugh Affair when his double Water Sun-Moon blend suddenly "gushed with feelings."

Who Is Noel Francisco? August 21, 1969

September 25, 2018: If or when Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is ousted or steps down, Solicitor General Noel Francisco is likely candidate to step in and begin overseeing the Mueller investigation into Trump and Russia. Word is, Francisco has an 'expansive view of presidential power', which may be one of his best qualities as far as un-indicted conspirator Mr. Trump is concerned.

With his birth hour unknown, here's a 'noon' horoscope for Noel Francisco born August 21, 1969 in Syracuse, New York:

As you see, his law-abiding Saturn in Taurus is 'conservative' and at Station Retrograde which strengthens and emphasizes his Saturn. Transit Venus in Scorpio is currently opposing his Saturn which marks a sobering time of 'business only'. Once transit Saturn eventually opposes his natal Venus (21Can14), partnerships and alliances will be under tremendous strain. Natal Saturn leads a Locomotive pattern (a ruthless drive toward success; a high-powered executive--Tierney) and is parallel royal star Regulus. See upper right for the stars in paran at rising with his planets, among them Sirius, The Scorcher.

But today his natal Uranus 2Lib10 is spotlighted by the Sun (2Lib34 as I type) which points to a decision of whether to be part of a certain group or not; either way, Mr. Francisco receives special attention under this transit. Meanwhile, natal Jupiter (6Lib10) is called on by speedy messenger Mercury (6Lib10--00:00 as I type) which denotes expanding ideas and plans, and engaging in political activities.

Natal Venus in Cancer is oriental (last to rise before his Sun) denoting that he tends to work with things of value. Noel Francisco's Prenatal Eclipse Saros Series is the 7 North and his PE is marked in orange on the chart with 7N eclipse themes listed, lower right.

And of course, there's the massive pile-up of Mercury, Pluto, Uranus, and Jupiter across two signs (Virgo and Libra) for such are the births of late August 1969. A Mercury-Pluto conjunction suggests his dealings with secret and/or dangerous information, possibly with spying implications. It also hints of deep powers of thought, like a detective seeing through people and events into their deeper meanings and motives. Unfortunately, a desire for revenge often comes along with a Mercury-Pluto conjunction so Mr. Francisco may remind us at some point of the vengeful, retaliating Donald Trump--or he may simply take part in Trump's vendettas against his 'enemies', real and imagined.

The rest of the dissociate stellium is formed by a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction denoting a man with an insatiable curiosity for rooting out the truth and a respect for knowledge especially that of intellectual giants of the past--and yet he himself is a 'futurist'. He's also an opportunist who never lets a chance go by without taking advantage of it and he gets quite a few chances with this conjunction of 'lucky breaks' and 'breakthroughs'. An interest, if not a talent, in Politics is also indicated although he'd do best to use his talents elsewhere such as in Education. Plus, natal Mercury 22Vir41 is a writing-teaching-dedicated-work sort of placement, a book author perhaps, although his Mercury conjoins US natal Neptune 22Vir25. With this transit-to-natal consideration (1969 vs 1776/USA) a faint whiff of occultism may be noticed.

So Who Is Noel Francisco?

He's all that and more and his double Fire personality blend of Sun Leo-Moon Sag reveals him to be a passionate, adventurous hero-worshiper, an independent, restless, romantic visionary who is proud, loyal, and generous, yet can be imperious and impatient. A tendency to jump to conclusions has had to be re-directed or re-purposed and hopefully he has done this for his best results. He does lean toward dismissing the ideas of others out of hand and too brusquely which wounds far more than he intended. But why intend harm to others at all?

A bit of a 'gambling gypsy', Mr. Francisco is a restless explorer (physically or mentally) who detests dishonesty (and he can put up with fantasist Trump who considers them all employees?) and may have a turbulent domestic life. Now admittedly I don't have his accurate birth time so house cusps and Angles of his natal chart must be left out of this babble, but even so, his Sun-Moon blend paints a picture of a man who can exhaust those around him with his volatile double Fire approach that comes from a deep self-centeredness. And with his Moon in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius (Luna can be as early as 2Sag+ or as late as 16Sag+ from 12 am--11:59 pm), then he shares the Sun Leo-Moon Sag personality blend with the likes of Sir Alexander Fleming, Ray Bradbury, 'Lawrence of Arabia', and Herman Melville who informs us of,

"Two antagonistic influences...one to mount direct to heaven, the other to drive yawingly to some horizontal goal."

The Saturn Return of Mr. Trump: Authority Challenged

The Current Three-Fer Saturn Return of Donald Trump Shows Maturity Problems

Since planet Saturn's orbit is between 28 and 30 years' duration, a Saturn Return horoscope is 'good for' about three decades. The last Saturn Return of Donald Trump (#3 of 3 conjunctions) perfected on May 24, 2005 and the chart below details the experiences, conditions, and influences that we're all suffering through now as his leadership, authority, and authenticity are challenged by Saturnian figures of governmental, legal, and other fact-finding realms. For as you know, astrological Saturn prefers just the facts and when returning to natal degree, he demands accountability, maturity, and the correction of past mistakes. Therefore, based on his recent and current behavior, we immediately see that Mr. Trump has major problems complying with the commands and imperatives of Saturn because taking responsibility and owning up to his own guilt and irresponsible actions are arrows not found in his quiver. We might even say he resists such mature behavior and has famously asserted that he's never made a mistake!

For a complete study of Trump's Saturn condition, several horoscopes should be considered including his natal chart and natal Saturn's aspects, progressions, and his very first Saturn Return (age 29, July 25, 1975 with Saturn in Return 9th house along with Mercury @24:34 and Sun @2Leo10; Saturn is squared by Jupiter in Aries and by Uranus in Libra which forms a T-Square: Jupiter-Uranus = Saturn with potentials for one-sided principles (wait! he has principles?), obstinacy, sudden disadvantages or losses. These horoscopes are helpful guides to his/our present circumstances particularly in the realms of authority, plus, other planetary return charts and transits add details to the cosmic picture and although I've studied them, this is a post not a book so no charts will be published here other than Trump's third of three Saturn Returns, the horoscope in effect since he ran and 'won' the White House--and at this moment. General notes on Saturn Returns will follow, below.

The Mercury-Saturn sextile indicates getting into wearisome quarrels, holding on to petty grievances, and nagging that destroys harmony in relationships. An inability to listen to others is also suggested as well as neglect of basic rules and a lack of respect for others' need for personal space. However, it does show a potential for good management and a concern (overconcern?) for details (Epstein). Saturn is also engaged with quirky Uranus via a sesquis-square (135 degrees), a dynamic 'square within a square' denoting complex or complicated conditions which may hint at Melania's immigrant status and relationship/freedom issues around that time. Of course, Saturn is the planet of tradition and The Past while Uranus prefers progress and The Future. And according to Robert Pelletier, Trump's Saturn-Pluto inconjunct (150 degrees) shows tendencies toward: voicing complaints about unfair competition (plus, his natal Jupiter in Libra: "it's not fair!"), laboring and wasting time over trifles, questioning valid candidacies (ex: Obama), and being impressed with his own sense of responsibility which compels him to take on more than he can handle. And here we are.

A Few Notes Regarding Saturn Returns

In general, a Saturn Return identifies the phase in which we enter a new cycle of experience and a new set of environmental conditions with which we can work. The Return house of Saturn denotes the area in which we are ambitious and/or seek recognition. Here in the 9th house, Mr. Trump seeks approval and recognition for his intellectual capacities yet his Geminian traits keep him on lighter levels of superficial understanding, quixotic notions, and an obsession over minor details as he often misses the wider points or the bigger picture in situations, events, and experiences. Plus, he seems unaware or simply unappreciative of the ultimate consequences of his actions, many of which are dire for other people whose feelings he twists for his own purposes but never genuinely considers.

Trump's urge for professional development is strong with his natal Saturn in business-savvy Cancer, yet we find that his personal compulsion toward self-protection (Cancer, the Crab in his shell) is operative in political realms via protectionism (exs: trade tariffs, removal of US from treaties and alliances as per Putin, his 'lodestar' of authority; 'wall building'), plus, his 'ivory tower' isolation (cheeseburgers in bed, no uncomfortable State Dinners), extreme emotional sensitivity, and difficult family ties which cause disadvantages whether he admits it or not. Such is karmic Saturn in Moon-ruled Cancer where the planet of maturity, authority, and accountability is in his detriment so acting maturely is difficult for him as is the expression of true emotions and sentiments. There's ambition and strategy in abundance, yes, but a tendency toward depression is also suggested by this placement in which feelings of emotional isolation can lead to neurotic, self-defeating behavior. In addition there is a leaning toward financial difficulties which have certainly been the case and seem to lie at the root of his foreign involvement as a businessman. And as you know, Saturn in Cancer people are talented in the field of Real Estate but Trump's underworld ties probably began there with Saturnian concrete which had to be purchased from mobsters!

So when playing the POTUS role, Saturnian weaknesses become particularly problematic and in fact, can place a wheeler dealer such as Mr. Trump under Saturnian scrutiny by legal authorities for such financial involvements with mobsters, foreign and domestic! And it has--money laundering through real estate seems to have been a favored activity, one that honest Saturn frowns upon. Yet having natal Saturn in the 11th house of Groups and Associations, shows that Mr. Trump could have developed a sense of responsibility by which everyone involved would benefit, for his ties to older, more mature persons have aided him--or negatively have made it easy for him not to evolve. One possibility is that his 11th house potential has been used primarily for membership in an older (ancient?) secret society or club with its own agenda so is this what Trump's take-over of the Republican Party, part of an ongoing, long-planned coup d'etat of our nation, has been about? Remember that Donald Trump is a Geminian thespian who could be smarter and more aware than he plays on TV!

The Two Natal Aspects of Mr. Trump's Saturn

So just as with any planetary return, Saturn reinforces the aspects he was engaged in at birth so for Donald Trump we see that any Saturn Return stimulates two aspects: his natal Venus-Saturn conjunction (1S55) indicating loyalty issues, using others for his own emotional gratification, but with possibly a heightened sense of justice, fair play, and the benefits of 'mutual advantage'. However, feelings of discontent in relationships may affect him off-and-on via Venus-Saturn yet the pair does provide him with a practical approach to problem solving (if only he could clearly see problems through the lens of his confused Mercury-Neptune square of fantasy, falsehood, misconception, distorted impressions, and indiscretion).

Simultaneously, a Saturn Return activates a second natal aspect--a difficult Moon-Saturn inconjunct (2A36) where we see his basic childhood complexes thanks to Mom (Moon) and Dad (Saturn). This aspect tends toward emotional immaturity, pessimism, and a fear of betrayal. A suspicious nature is indicated (Dad: "never trust anyone") engendering a cautious, defensive posture which may express emotions at the wrong time or in the wrong way and place (plus, his natal Moon-SN conjunction = bad timing, as noted). A sober facade is often employed in order to hide deep feelings of inferiority and melancholy even while he blurts out show-stopping rhetoric and slogans. Obviously things were off-kilter with Mom and Dad back in the day so that issues of abandonment are in evidence here, plus, a fear of losing emotional control may haunt him even as he rages in fury in a sad attempt to re-exert a measure of control over others while manipulating circumstances to his liking. The May 2005 Saturn Return shown above, as does his first Saturn Return in 1975, has Scorpio rising and Mars-ruled Scorpio tends to control and manipulate others even though a deep need to learn to practice self-control is the real problem.

So can cussing loudly and insulting others like a vicious adolescent help matters? Perhaps they did during his childhood and teen years. But unfortunately, We the People are stuck with his rage and inferiority issues because none of these Moon-Saturn tendencies improve with age especially for a non-reflective control freak. Yet if desired, serious Saturn will teach such control and discipline that can result in emotional maturity and a genuine sense of responsibility as long as authoritative Saturn's lessons are faithfully completed first! So there is the timing factor involved in Saturn Returns when reflecting upon serious matters and our part in them, regretful or not, is at hand and a change of course is necessary in order to progress as an adult traveling on the path of the hero's journey.

Future-Defining Saturn and Creepy Pluto

Naturally, Saturn's transits through his Return chart as well as the transits of other planets, provide additional information and timing of events and peaks of various sorts (including the possibility of karmic loss or well-earned rewards). As I type, today's position of Saturn @2Cap32 (his Direct Station degree of September 6th) falls into Mr. Trump's natal 5th house (although the sign Capricorn is intercepted in his 5th house--karmic conditions concerning children and risk-taking to deal with?) and, as noted above, is in the 9th house of Higher Learning, Philosophy, and Distant Travel in the 2005 Return chart.

A watershed moment for taking responsibility and paying the Saturnian piper (see lower left, Sun Gem-Moon Sag's image) is coming when transit Saturn opposes his natal Saturn one time on January 21, 2020 (owning up to past mistakes) but karmicly the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto, so recently perfected on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46, is even heavier for it conjoins the natal Vertex of fated encounters in the natal chart of Donald J. Trump where a simultaneous transit of Pluto opposing natal Saturn adds the potential for difficult if not harsh circumstances of the underworld kind.

Back When Melania and Barron Trump Entered the Trump Family Picture

As you see, the Trump Wedding (January 22, 2005) and two stand-out links to Melania's natal chart are highlighted in pink around the Return chart; in light red are the Return's Syzygy Moon (Full Moon @2Sag47 in 1st house); also in light red is its 6th house Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') @19Ari05 in the 7 North Saros Series--theme: sudden passions, lust, birth (Brady).

This eclipse could suggest their son Barron yet a Moon-Pluto conjunction may also indicate a child born out of wedlock. That Moon-Pluto conjoins Trump's natal Moon-South Node conjunction (bad timing) makes such a birth more likely but not a definite. Yet along the same lines, Pluto @23Sag41 Rx is apex planet of a YOD pattern with the Mercury-Saturn sextile at its base; this adds to the karmic feel of the Return chart (as in, reaping what's been sown) and times a crossroads situation, a destined change, and/or a spiritual opportunity for karmic progress upon the path of life. A turning point is reached and a new direction is available via apex Pluto but with Mercury-Saturn tendencies toward undermining existing authority, striving to assume a higher level of power, and the ability to usher in a revolutionary new order.

Plus, the YOD trio forms a midpoint picture of Mercury-Saturn = Pluto with potentials for: grappling with unusual problems; brooding over one's destiny (to play POTUS?); plans determine destiny (Ebertin); contemplating loss; fearing wipe-out; feeling a lack of resources; abandonment (Tyl). Could this describe a 'marry me or else I scram' threat?

Then checking the natal chart of Melania Knauss Trump born April 26, 1970 at an unknown hour ('noon') in Novo Mesto, Slovenia (follow for a link to her husband's natal horoscope), we see that Trump's Saturn Return #3 of 3 shown above was approximately an annual Mercury Return for Melania (22Tau18/40) while Return Uranus @10Pis35 conjoined her natal North Node (10:09). Was Donald taking responsibility by marrying Melania? One could think so. Their Uranus-NN pairing suggests an unusual and/or exciting connection, one that has been recently 'visited' by transit Neptune in Pisces which hints at undermining conditions affecting their union including deception, and/or a possible 'retirement' of a partner from a 'joint enterprise' (Ebertin). Also, the Return's Sun-Moon midpoint (marriage; husband and wife) conjoins Return Uranus (shared upsets, conflicts, events; inner rebellion; separation) and links to Melania's NN (an association for the purpose of marriage--as it was). And of course, Trump's natal 10th house Uranus in changeable Gemini is his guiding planet or inner voice advising his chaotic style of leadership.

Now let's close with another point of interest: the Sabian Symbol for Melania's Mercury: '23Taurus': "A Jewelry Shop Filled With Valuable Gems" which would have been quite persuasive, one imagines. And her Mercury, planet of children, is only one degree from Donald Trump's natal Midheaven (conjunct raging Algol) but is in his 9th house (of Foreigners) so being hyper-subjective and emotionally over-sensitive, the image and appearance of a beautifully 'decorated wife' was naturally important to him as "A CERTIFICATION OF PERSONAL WORTH" (Rudhyar). And I must surmise that apparently Melania Knauss Trump was on the same jewel-encrusted page.

2018: A Three-Fer Jupiter Return for Barron Trump

Just a brief post to say that Donald Trump's son Barron is having quite a cosmic year thanks in part to the transits of Jupiter and Neptune. Plus, the planetary pair rules his natal Ascendant in dreamy, creative yet secretive Pisces.

So naturally at twelve years old, it's time for a Jupiter Return (or, Reward Cycle) so you may wish to check out his natal horoscope (RR: A) if you haven't: Barron Trump born March 20, 2006 5:30 am edt New York, New York with Sun @29Pis40 (conjunct Aries Point--and starry Scheat), Moon @00Sag57, and 15Pisces02 rising along with natal Mercury 14:30 Rx and Uranus 11:47. As you see, transit Neptune in Pisces has been messing around with his natal ASC, Mercury, and Uranus of late, plus, the young man is in the midst of his first Jupiter Return, a 'three-fer'. The third of three returns to Jupiter's natal degree (@18Sco28 Rx natal 8th house) perfects this Sunday, September 9, 2018 with the first conjunction occurring on January 10, 2018 and the second on May 7, 2018.

Of course, each return (conjunction) repeats the several aspects that Jupiter forms in his natal chart but it's after midnight when for me typing is not such a good idea so I'll simply close by wishing Barron well!

Natal Horoscopes of Capone-Manafort-Trump

August 2, 2018: Now that the tweeter-in-chief has compared his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort with Chicago gangster and tax-dodger Al Capone you know a comparison between their natal horoscopes had to occur. Below is a bi-wheel with Capone's C-rated natal chart in the center and Paul Manafort's 'noon' chart, outer. Penciled around the charts are some interesting links between Al Capone's planets and those of Donald Trump. As you see, Mr. Trump's Sun-NN-Uranus trio opposite his natal Moon-SN is prominently showcased on Capone's natal MC-IC axis:

The more stand-out links are Manafort's natal Jupiter conjunct Capone's Sun (28Capricorn--conjunct US natal Pluto), Manafort's natal Chiron 8Sag58 Rx (the wound and blind spot) conjunct Capone's natal Chiron 9Sag34, Capone's natal Jupiter 8Sco06 conjunct Manafort's Prenatal Solar Eclipse degree (4 South themes = 'strong emotions about money and/or relationships; a sense of fated events; frustrating blocks; sudden desire to end a relationship'). I won't mention Capone's Mars 29Can16 (Rx, OOBs, and at critical degree) conjunct Manafort's Ascendant since Manafort's chart is speculatively set for 'noon'. But we need no accurate birth time for Mr. Manafort to see Al Capone's Sun shining upon the natal Jupiter of extravagant spender and tax-dodger Paul Manafort during his current trial, thanks to the tweet-in-chief's (helpful?) efforts.

Plus, you see that Manafort's natal Saturn 00Vir04 Rx conjoins royal star Regulus (success if revenge is avoided)--and conjoins Trump's natal Ascendant and, by extension, his rising Mars in Leo. This link suggests that Manafort will 'stick' (Saturn) with Trump (ASC) and not turn state's evidence, even if convicted, but we'll see since 69-year-old Manafort's prospect of dying in prison may be a prison cell too far.

Also note that Al Capone's Syzygy Moon is his Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') 21Cap33 in the violent 9 New North Saros Series (conjunct Trump's natal Vertex!) and is the same series as that of Alexander Hamilton's PE, as already discussed.

On the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of Alexander Hamilton

Because of the uncertainty of the birth data of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton I've never properly posted his natal horoscope or made much mention of him astrologically here on Stars Over Washington. However, there are multiple rectified versions of his natal chart for the curious if you wish to have a look at them or at his noon chart. His early childhood on the Island of Nevis has been subject to speculation through the years although more seems to be known these days. Here's his Wikipedia bio page if you're interested and a view of his 'noon' chart is available here. The version I tend to favor is a rectified chart (by Dr. "H") set for January 11, 1755 1:23:37 pm Charlestown, Nevis with ASC 19Tau53 and MC 9AQ20--and lots of Capricorn planets suitable for the man who championed America's national banking system, served as our first Secretary of the Treasury, and more.

The Age-Old Question: Who's Your Daddy?

In the natal chart I favor, Hamilton's natal Neptune @7Leo47 Rx, leader of a Locomotive shape of planets (toward success), conjoins his IC which describes Hamilton's mysterious beginnings or roots. Plus, rising is Taurus, a money sign (the Taurean 'Bull of bullish Wall Street') and an Aquarian Midheaven, the Aspiration and Career Point, brings in humanitarian or social work which resonates with his natal Uranus inconjunct Neptune aspect that identifies his generation as fighting social ills and becoming involved in political work. This aspect (150 degrees) between the two planets of The Enlightenment (and of the NWO, as their energies have since been directed) was also in effect from 1922 through 1928. And as you know, they last conjoined three times in 1993 @18Capricorn..."POLITICAL POWER...neg: smug or strong-armed paternalism" - Jones. Of course, paternalism is how America began by the Founding Fathers and what is now 'on steroids' under dictator-wannabe Trump.

Yet there are horoscopes relating to Alexander Hamilton which can be accurately timed without doubt. One is the chart of his Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') which perfected @22Lib35 on October 15, 1754 in the 9 New North Saros Series. This is a difficult series containing potentials for physical violence, accidents, and great physical effort (Brady). (A 9 New North last perfected in 2007 and will again in 2025.) His 1754 PE horoscope contains a YOD pattern (crisis; turning point; crossroads; special task; spiritual opportunity) with Neptune sextile North Node (understanding of cultural trends but evading them) at its base pointing toward natal Uranus @7Pis49 Rx. As you know, astrological Uranus can be crisis-prone on its own so when rivals Hamilton and Burr met with pistols in 1804, transit Pluto Rx, god of Hades, had been in process of conjoining Hamilton's natal Uranus with Uranus-Pluto combinations always explosive and often daring and foolhardy.

Now the YOD in his natal PE chart may be read as a midpoint picture: Neptune-NN = Uranus: unrestrained self-will; upset over the anti-social conduct of others; a sudden undermining or destruction of relationships. Add transit Pluto to Uranus' place in the picture on July 11, 1804 7:00 am Weehawken, NJ and Hamilton encountered potentials for: exercising a bad influence upon associations between people and/or the breakdown of a relationship between people living together (Ebertin). Tragically, sudden death by duel or any other means can do that to a man and his family.

Bitter Rivals

As for the 1804 duel's PE, it manifested on February 11, 1804 @21AQ36 in the 4 North Saros Series with themes of: illusion, restraint, restriction, separation, events that block, and people who are prone to misjudge their strength or the situation. These themes sum up conditions and events around the Hamilton-Burr duel rather well, I think, especially since at 7:00 am LMT in Weehawken, vengeful Venus in proud Leo was rising and shooter Mars was at the critical-crisis 29th degree of Taurus.

A solar eclipse in the 4 North series last perfected in 2002 @20Gemini (conjunct US natal Mars and Trump's natal North Node) and will manifest next as the Summer Solstice Solar Eclipse of 2020.

Astro-Notes on Kim Jong Un: meeting Pluto

When Two Dictators Get Together What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

The birth year of North Korea's ruler Kim Jong Un is suspect with a Rodden Rating of XX (undetermined). The years 1982, 1983, and 1984 have been suggested for Kim's birth while January 8 does seem to be the case (and even his pal Dennis Rodman has mentioned it as his birth day the year that Kim turned 30 years old, Rodman said--so, 1983). Of course, this uncertainty makes it iffy to bother comparing the natal planets of Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump (whose birth data is apparently certain but the hour? Does royal Regulus really rise with Trump's Mars in Leo? well, he is a 'king' in his own mind as once again evidenced currently by Trump's assertion that he can autocratically pardon himself).

So we can be nearly certain that Kim was born with Sun in Capricorn, the Saturn-ruled sign of government, law, and business. If born January 8, 1983 he may have a Scorpio Moon, if in 1984, a Pisces Moon. Both are Water signs, both secretive but Scorpio is a Fixed (rigid) sign while Pisces is Mutable and changeable. One suggests reigning needs of Scorpionic proportions which include issues of control, finances, surveillance, sabotage, and betrayal while creative Pisces' needs include compassion and sacrifice. Therefore, to me the birth data argument for Kim seems weighted toward the January 8, 1983 side with a Scorpio Moon and Sun in Capricorn and the combination's Saturn-Mars-Pluto influences. Curiously, a transiting trio of energies have recently been constellated between this same trio by the recent formation of a certain midpoint picture -- Mars-Saturn = Pluto, and this is a 'natal echo' for Donald Trump who was born under the brutal, violent influences of this very same midpoint picture on June 14, 1946.

Now a brooding Scorpio Moon isn't necessarily the case for Kim, but that's how I'm leaning at present. And note that his natal Sun at around 17/18Cap is now being 'visited' by creepy, powerful wealth-hoarder of the Underworld, planet Pluto suggesting a period when recognition as 'a force to be reckoned with' is on his agenda. Power struggles, will power, dominance, ego needs, pride, and aggression are also revealed by a Pluto-to-Sun transit along with a potential for a new start of some kind once plutonian issues and ego-based demands are successfully dealt with.

Of course, astrological Pluto also represents the nuclear realms, plus, the Creepy One may on a deep level signify Mr. Trump himself (Pluto in Capricorn = the dictator, Ebertin) coming to meet Kim's natal Sun at their June 12, 2018 Singapore Summit of low expectations as only a getting to know you chat. The recently announced hour of 9:00 am Singapore time (June 11 9:00 pm in the US, EDT) was unknown to me when I previously posted on their June 12 meeting but here's that post if you're curious. Two of Singapore's founding horoscopes are included. On June 12, 2018 in Singapore at 9:00 am local time, Trump's natal Saturn in Cancer rises with his Venus in Cancer in tow (Ascendant 19 Cancer). For Kim (if born in 1983), his natal Pluto @29Libra is first to rise followed by his natal Saturn in early Scorpio and the Scorpio Moon.

Kim Jong Un's 2 South Prenatal Solar Eclipse (1983)

Just a quick note concerning his 2 South Solar Eclipse with its theme of: noticing and joining an unusual group from which great gains are expected (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). As the Cosmos would have it, a solar eclipse in the 2 South Saros Series repeats on January 6, 2019 @15Capricorn--not conjunct Kim's natal Sun but possibly near enough to be of some influence. As you know, eclipses influence history by working through individuals so if such a group/great gains theme plays out for Kim Jong Un, this will support the theory of a 1983 birth year for the leader of North Korea.

In closing, here are a few astro-notes concerning the Earth-Water Sun Cap-Moon Scorpio personality blend of energies:

Sun Cap-Moon Scorpio is a self-possessed, resilient,, tenacious combination of a tireless worker who has no time for fools (Trump is in trouble on that score since Kim knows that it only takes flattery ladled plentifully onto Trump's shaky ego to completely psyche him out!) Goals and values are personal obsessions for this personality which is constantly vigilant for attacks that come from all directions. Shrewd and self-controlled, Kim Jong Un is not the out-of-control character Western media has often painted him to be and this June 12 summit may reveal which of the two participants are better described by such criticism. However, Kim can temporarily 'go off the deep end' when motivated by disturbing emotions. Blind to his own prejudices (as are most people!), Kim is undeterred by obstacles and defensive againt all threats which helps account in part for his nuclear stance in the world. And if this is his personality blend, the idea that Kim will never give up his nuclear program seems justified on a very deep and personal level.

Besides, after years of bragging about its nukes (and even writing them into the NK Constitution!) de-nuclearization would be a huge cultural shift. Would Kim actually give up his nuclear weapons? Or won't but say he did?

Caput Algol screams upon Donald Trump's Midheaven

If you could choose any star to avoid in connection to your natal chart and planets it would probably be the most malevolent of them all, Algol (aka, Caput Algol). Here are potentials for Algol, some of which may remind you of a certain public figure we both know all too well these days:

"Mass tragedies: war, mass murder, fanaticism, ruthlessness, bigotry, propaganda, horror, violence, mass vandalism, mob violence, being torn to pieces, extremes of brutality. Death by hanging, strangulation, electrocution, wounds to the throat and neck." (Algol has been in Taurus for more than 1800 years, and Taurus rules the neck and throat...perhaps when it gets to Gemini this will change to wounds to the arms and shoulders ??) "Often found in criminal or murder charts. In mundane charts it may presage great disasters such as mine cave-ins, fires, quakes, riots etc. Extreme sickness." Quoted from Diana K. Of course, "wounds to the throat and neck' suggest decapitation which can also include a 'heady' experience that causes a person to overdo his reactions, to 'lose his head'--like, for example, taking over the Oval Office reins and assuming you're above the law. And many would describe demagogue Trump in the White House as "a great disaster" for America and the world. Watch for May 15, 2018's New Moon @24Tau36 (7:48 am edt) for it blinks at Algol, stimulates the natal MC of Mr. Trump, and denotes a new cycle of activity which tragically may include some of the malevolent potentials listed above. The lunation also occurs within a degree of the natal Taurean Sun of the State of Israel.

So as you know, the Midheaven (MC) in any horoscope is the most visible point and describes The Goal or Aspiration Point of the person, entity, or event described by the horoscope. This 10th house cusp is sometimes known as the WHY? Point (ASC = WHAT?; DESC = WHERE or WHERE TO?; IC = HOW?) so there in Trump's Goal department nestles nasty star Algol. Does any of this remind you of the horrendous photo that comedian Kathy Griffin published in which she pretended to hold up a decapitated head of Donald Trump in Medusa-Head style? Me too. Wonder if Ms. Griffin studies Astrology?

Singapore! Trump-Kim Meeting Set for June 12, 2018

On May 10, 2018 a meeting between Donald Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong Un was announced for June 12, 2018 in Singapore. This is subject to change, of course, so I don't care to write about the meeting's horoscope until closer to the event, if then. However, the founding data of Singapore may be useful. We should note that in the transits on June 12, the Mars-Uranus square will have waned (Mars 7AQ; Uranus 1Taurus) while the war-like Mars-SN conjunction remains worrisome for its possible military connection and the fact that it continues to ruffle America's natal Nodal axis (6Leo/AQ). Another square will be formed by then between Venus (diplomacy) and quirky Uranus (revolt; freedom; independence; disruption) denoting willful people who resent any limitations on their actions, and the easy or sudden breaking of relationships, not the forming of them!

Now there are multiple horoscopes for Singapore (originally founded in 1819 as a trading post) and below is a dual image of two of them, both set for August 9, 1965--one for 10:00 am JT -7:30 (Proclamation of Independence, lower left), the other for 4:15 pm JT, the official hour of independence.

As you see, the 4:15 pm chart shows interlaced (focused) YOD patterns of crisis, crossroads (like at a trading post?), and/or special purpose--one with apex Sun in Leo, the other with apex Saturn Rx in Pisces--and Saturn the chart-ruler since business sign Capricorn rises. On August 9, 1965 by transit was a fanatic Saturn-Pluto opposition across the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior axis, and of course, in 1965 the Uranus-Pluto conjunction was perfecting off and on with all the protests and restlessness we could use. Curiously, in the 10:00 am chart, Trump's natal Mercury @8Cancer conjoins Singapore's Midheaven (8Can01), and on June 12, 2018 (typical as it is) Trump's natal Sun will be sesqui-squared by transit Mars (7AQ55) indicating ego conflicts and ill-considered actions; this transit is a three-fer and will repeat on July 11, 2018 and October 5, 2018.

A third horoscope can be set for August 31, 1963 12:00 am JT with ASC 2Gem04, MC 27AQ17 (precisely where the current 1 South Solar Eclipse 'hit' on February 15, 2018 = "flooded with options and ideas"--Brady); also the 1963 chart reveals a practical Double Earth Sun Virgo-Moon Capricorn blend while the 1965 charts show a Fire-Earth Sun Leo-Moon Capricorn combination of energies.) Note that on the 10:00 am chart I've penned on most of Mr. Trump's natal placements--also note that large amounts of money may be involved in this 'summit' for in both charts gold-hoarding MIDAS conjoins Trump's natal Midheaven @24Taurus! So apparently Mr. Trump is expecting a lot from this meeting and relationship with Kim--even a Nobel Prize. The Cosmos does, after all, gift Trump with a Gemini New Moon near his natal Sun for his Solar Return 2018 which arrives a mere two days after his meeting with Kim!

On Donald Trump as Clumsy Liar

Well, planet Neptune flowing through its own sign of Pisces is busy veiling the truth on a daily basis! And now that the tally of Donald Trump's lies has surpassed 3,000 since January 20, 2017, the serial lies of the demagogue-in-chief are, at times, unbelievable and sometimes only petty yet his fans can't seem to muster a care. Linked below is a May 5th segment from CNN's Anderson Cooper which asks, does anyone care when Trump lies?

And an accompanying analysis by CNN's Gregory Krieg chimes in with How can Trump lie so much and be 'authentic' at the same time? Here's an explanation which in title alone attempts to mush together two antithetical elements for any astrologer: Saturnian authenticity with Neptunian deception. Meanwhile, I've always been told that truth mixed with a little falsehood is a lie, not a truth, yet we know that in the practice of Politics, a half-truth is very often a useful tool, even before Mr. Trump grabbed the Oval Office spotlight and coup'd the bully pulpit.

Well, all this fact vs fiction turmoil has brought on a quote from my all-time favorite journalist and one of my favorite writers, Mark Twain, whose following words are from his On The Decay of the Art of Lying, a tongue-in-cheek affair...or is it? In it Mr. Twain bemoans "the growing prevalence of the brutal truth" so see what you think but do not fret--for we may safely assume that Mr. Trump has never bothered to read such words as these, and besides--he never needed to since he comes by his lying talent naturally as seen by the square (blockage) between his natal Mercury (communications; thinking processes; news) and natal Neptune (lies, deceit; obfuscation; cheating; fakery). Yes, his 'carnival barker' and 'snake oil salesman' personas come from deep within, are applauded by his brash and rising Mars in dramatic Leo, sign of the showman, and are cheerfully supported by his bright Sun-NN-Uranus trio in duplicitous Gemini, Mercurial sign of the trickster.

Now here's Samuel Clemons, aka, Mark Twain:

Lying is universal--we all do it. Rotting the land? Then maybe Donald Trump has read Twain's words and internalized them as 'authentic' with a spirit of Saturnian seriousness for rotting the land of America seems to be part of Trump's mission--with a lot of help from complicit, overly compromised Republicans.

The Natal Chart of Stormy Daniels with Sappho Rising

April 11, 2018: once the New York FBI raided the home, office, and NY hotel room of Trump attorney/fixer, Michael Cohen on Monday (April 9, 2018), it seemed the time to post the natal horoscope of Trump 'amor' "Stormy Daniels" (nee Stephanie Clifford) so here's her horoscope with my typical messy notes, plus a few Trump natal planets and angles marked in red around her chart; as you see, sexy Sappho rises:

Added to the chart are two lunations--her Prenatal Solar Eclipse @7Pis29 in the 17 South Saros Series with themes of good news and success in relationship matters (Brady) and her Syzygy Moon @22Vir41 conjunct fixed star Denebola (out of the mainstream; to go against society) in 9th house and this is supported by natal Moon @4Sco56 as apex planet of her Neptune-NN midpoint (lack of community spirit; disappointment in relationships--Ebertin). Another picture, Uranus-Pluto = Moon gives her a sense of restlessness, plus, determined ambition, intuition, and emotional conviction (Tyl).

Trump, Daniels, and Cohen

One implication of the current Cohen-Trump turmoil over sex and hush money is seen via Trump's natal Jupiter conjunct Miss Clifford's natal 10th house Pluto (18Lis26 Rx), plus, natal Sun @26Pis05 conjoins asteroid Demeter (Greek goddess of nurturing which in Roman Mythology is Ceres) and asteroid of retaliation, Tisiphone. Note that in a Jupiter-Pluto hook-up, astrological Pluto, as always, holds the cards.

Three aspects to her chart-ruler Jupiter (at critical degree in 8th house of sex) are listed, lower left and she is in process of a three-fer Mercury Return with dates listed, lower right--Mercury's next exact hit occurs April 24, 2018, and as you know, Mercury rules negotiations, deals, and agreements including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).

Jupiter Exalts in Moon-ruled Cancer

The lady's last/current Jupiter Return (29Can07) perfected on July 12, 2014 with natal 8th house rising and transit Neptune @7Pis19 conjunct her PE, a Total eclipse which manifested on February 26, 1979. The last 17 South Eclipse occurred March 20, 2015 conjunct Scheat, a difficult star of extreme misfortune. This 17 South solar manifestation was the Spring Equinox 2015 Solar Eclipse of 'sneaks, leaks, and veils' which heralded the prez-bid announcement of Donald Trump (with Stormy's hush money paid just before the 2016 Election). Also note that Stormy's essence is seen via the closest applying aspect to natal Sun and in her case, it's a Sun-Jupiter trine (3A01), an aspect of good luck and success which makes it easy for her to gain the cooperation of others.

And if we progress Miss Daniels' natal chart, we find that she symbolically entered a Balsamic Lunar Phase of endings, partings, and/or hidden activities on January 24, 2016 with SP Moon @17Pis24 conjunct SP South Node, a separative influence. Approaching for her is a new stage in life, an SP New Moon @5Tau42 which perfects on June 17, 2019. Mr. Trump, a Moon-SN kind of guy, was elected during a Balsamic phase and he remains in it until an SP New Moon @3Virgo perfects on September 16, 2019.

An Astrological Comparison of Donald Trump and John Bolton

As you've heard, neocon warhawk John Bolton is Trump's designated National Security Adviser now that General McMaster has been ousted from the White House. Let's take a look at the aspects between Trump and Bolton in the synastry grid, below. Since Bolton's birth hour is so far unknown, a speculative 'noon' hour is used--his Sun and Moon remained in their signs the whole day through--Sun Scorpio and Moon Cancer, Double Water (see his personality blend notes, below):

Across are the planets of Donald Trump (June 14, 1946 10:54 am Queens, NY with his Mars 26Leo rising with royal Regulus). Down are the noon planets of John Bolton (November 20, 1948 'noon' Baltimore, Maryland). Marked in Red are the aspects likely to cause the most conflict between them (squares and oppositions). I would consider the Trump Mars square Bolton Sun the most challenging aspect, dynamic though it is. Note that Bolton was born with a disassociate conjunction between Mars in Sagittarius and Jupiter @1Cap05 which is opposed by chaos-creator Uranus Rx @29Gem44, a critical-crisis 29th degree of impatience, and conjunct a Cardinal World Point (00Cancer). His Jupiter in Capricorn opposes Trump's Mercury in Cancer, also a challenging aspect (beliefs vs thinking) which hints at misunderstandings and differences of opinion. Their association begins with a bang but may end in acrimony as so many of Trump's relationships do but these two 'warriors' are rather a lot alike which can make things even worse after a time of working together. Plus, Mr. Bolton's natal Saturn in Virgo does tend to be the critic and, as we know, Mr. Trump's overly sensitive ego cannot tolerate criticism.

In his natal chart, John Bolton's Sun in late Scorpio conjoins his Chiron denoting a deep wound to his sense of self or personality probably via father during Bolton's childhood. However, Sun-Chiron does give him a sense of having a mission in life, Scorpionic as it is. And with Trump's shaky Gemini personality in need of constant approval, their relationship may be fraught with egocentric demands between them which spill over onto others. Yet war, strife, and conflict seem to be both men's aims in life (Mars trine Mars in Fire signs) though their perspectives differ (Venus SQ Venus) and we see that in Bolton's noon chart, Midheaven, the Goal Point, is @1Sag = "A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire." Well, he has certainly demonstrated previously his grand ideas and plans to further the American Empire no matter how many innocent people must be bombed (of course, that's my opinion of him--disagree as you wish). There are, however, some beneficial aspects between them (sextiles, trines, possibly conjunctions) but since we're talking about that 'organized system of hatreds', Politics, we'll consider the negative ones in this post.

Now Bolton's explosive Mars-Uranus opposition is a primary motivator in his psyche and identifies his leaning toward reactionary politics and revolution, spurred by his opposition to the status quo. It also suggests that he is drawn to criminals and criminal activity, and possesses a volcanic temper. If any of this suggests Donald Trump, then we agree. For one thing, both men were born under a BOWL shape of planets led by quirky, quixotic Uranus in changeable Gemini. Add to Bolton a Jupiter-Uranus opposition as well and we have a neocon with dogmatic beliefs, a tendency toward adventurism, exploration, and erratic action. His Mercury-Pluto square suggests cruel and/or blunt speech and an obsessive personality who listens very little to others--again, like Donald Trump.

Yet perhaps that's a difference between them--Bolton may actually hold beliefs while Trump's 'beliefs' change with the last person's opinion he heard expressed. Or will this be a huge war hawking ruh-roh as Trump listens to Bolton and attacks Iran? My suspicion is that their partnership will allow two bad actors to scheme together toward global conflagration, as directed by their hidden masters. But hopefully, that's just me fretting--and perhaps their love won't last!

John Bolton's Double-Water Personality Blend

With his watery Sun Scorpio-Moon Cancer personality blend, John Bolton is deeply fond of 'the good ole days' and with this position in the White House those days may have come again--for him. The Natal Planets of Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump

For former KGB agent, now leader of Russia, and idol of Donald Trump Vladimir Putin there are two possible natal horoscopes currently available, one a rectified version done in 2000 by Claude Weiss. Both charts may be speculative due to uncertain birth times.

Here are both charts' data:

Vladimir Putin: October 7, 1952 9:30 am MSK St. Petersburg, RU with 3Sco10 rising and 21Leo12 at Midheaven, the Goal Point, indicating such ambitions as leadership, approval, ego satisfaction, and shining on the global stage. Plus, Leo at MC places his natal Pluto (22Leo43) there and who could disagree that plutonian power and control (including rigid military control) are a major part of his goals? Of course, astrological Pluto also hints at potentials for manipulation, fear, propaganda, rape, subterfuge (a former spy), sabotage, and assassination (even poisoning), as part of Putin's Career picture observed by the entire world (MC). Additionally, his Pluto conjoins natal South Node, a Saturnian point (large social changes affect others who are disregarded). Scorpio rising denotes Mars and sub-ruler Pluto as chart-ruler/s which makes sense due to the Mars-Pluto combination of cruel, ruthless, forceful, even brutal, energies.

The rectified version of Putin's natal chart (same data but a birth time of 4:10 pm MSK) shows 17Cap15 rising--where transit Pluto has now crossed into 1st house--and 5Sag46 at MC suggesting that massive wealth is a goal (which has been attained) along with freedom and expanded territory (ex: from 2014 see Ukraine mobilizes troops amid crisis with Russia). In this version of his chart the angles are ruled by Saturn (ASC--a difficult childhood?) and money-grubber Jupiter (MC), the boundary breaker. If this is the correct natal chart, with tr Pluto in Capricorn at ASC, Mr. Putin is 'feeling his oats' of power and handling things 'his way' as he gains control and a more powerful public image.

Excerpt from a previous post: "Mr. Putin's natal Sun Libra-Moon Gemini blend (Air-Air) indicates that he may spread himself too thin to accomplish all his goals but perhaps it somewhat depends upon who aids him in his current take-over endeavors." To this I add that this is a personality blend of charm and clear thinking, but can be superficial and emotionally immature (Harveys).

Trump and Putin Sittin' in a Tree...

In both versions of Putin's natal chart, his Gemini Moon and Jupiter-ruled Mars (26Sag42) are out-of-bounds and thus cut off or separated in some way from the rest of his planets. This hints at mother troubles or separation, and a warring Mars off on his own and up to who-knows-what. Putin's natal Saturn @17Lib27 precisely conjoins the natal Jupiter (Station Direct @17Lib27) of Donald Trump. This denotes an enduring relationship between them with money, banking, and ideology featured. Rounded up to '18Libra' in the Sabian Symbols for the conjunction of societal planets Jupiter and Saturn, we find "Two men Under Arrest"...and we also find America's Progressed Mars Station Retrograde degree (as of 2006). To Putin's 9:30 am Ascendant (3Sco10), noted above, add US SP Saturn Rx @3Scorpio--retrograde since 1996 during Bill Clinton's legal turmoil when his presidential authority and irresponsible actions were forced into a glaring public spotlight, thus weakening America's authenticity and credibility in the world.

And perhaps you remember that Mr. Trump enjoyed his current Mars Return on August 31, 2017 and with Trump's Mars @26Leo, we see that a fiery trine of aid and benefits exists between the warrior planet of Vladie Putin and Donnie Trump.

Now acting as Donald Trump's White House Chief of Staff, former Marine commander and Homeland Security Director John Kelly was born on May 11, 1950 in Boston, Massachusetts. Brief astro-notes follow but first you may wish to check out 10 Things You Didn't Know about General John Kelly.

'Easy-going yet determined' is a good way to describe his personality which can be seen by his practical Earth-Water Sun Taurus-Moon Pisces blend since the Moon remained in Pisces (15:43--27:50) for the entire 24-hour period. A Brief Astrological Overview of Hope Hicks

Tuesday February 27, 2018: This morning White House Director of Communications and longest serving political aide to Donald Trump Hope Hicks is to appear before the House Intelligence Committee concerning alleged Trump campaign involvement in Russian meddling in the November 2016 election. Her appearance was postponed from last month due to the kerfuffle over Steve Bannon's testimony and Mr. Trump should note that the 'attorney-client privilege' hedge is not applicable in the case of Hope Hicks though whether or not she'll actually answer any questions remains to be seen.

The Wikipedia page for Hope Charlotte Hicks provides a few basic details of her life of 29 years but let's take a brief peek at her natal planets and PE. Sans an accurate birth time we'll look at 'noon' on October 21, 1988 Greenwich, Connecticut but with consideration for the 24-hour range of degrees for her Moon and Sun. Naturally her age implies that a Saturn Return may be in play as she or others are held accountable for past actions but we'll see how close the timing is to today's Capitol Hill appearance.

Horoscope: Hope Charlotte Hicks October 21, 1988 'noon' edt Greenwich, CT:

As you see, 1988's weighty trio of planets Uranus-Saturn-Neptune figure strongly in the psyche of Hope Hicks where transit Saturn, the authority and The Establishment, now plods (Saturn today = 7Cap12). On the chart (lower left) are penned the dates that tr Saturn hits natal Neptune: March 6, 2018, May 31, 2018, and November 29, 2018. As you know, this is the 'dream come true' OR 'the grim face of reality' transit and considering her involvement with the Trump Organization and today's Capitol Hill visit, I'd say it's more the latter than the former for Miss Hicks. And note that monetary matters are suggested by this transit. So I would say that 2018 is a Saturn-to-Neptune year for Hope Hicks. As for active motivator Mars (00Ari09), you see he is retrograde at Aries Point making the achievement of fame, recognition, and fortune practically a given, plus, Neptune in Capricorn is inspired to attain goals by crooked means if necessary. On the right side of the chart you see Mars in Aries and Venus in Virgo listed. Lower right shows her Jupiter Rx in Gemini so we know she relates to others as a Mercury-ruled Gemini (and behaves as a Sagittarian--Uranus in Sag). And of course, Pluto in Scorpio indicates a talent for exercising subconscious suggestions to others, fanaticism, record achievements (her Mars = AP approves!), and having a share in tragic events (Ebertin) which describes for some people the Trump White House.

Sun Libra-Moon Pisces

Now let's take a peek at her Air-Water Sun Libra-Moon Pisces personality blend for which we don't need an accurate birth time since Sun and Moon remained in their signs for the 24-hour period of October 21, 1988.

This blend reveals one who is creative, adaptable, perceptive (even if her perceptions are off-the-mark with Mercury SQ Neptune), sometimes lazy, and talkative. Yet she is also a good listener who demonstrates non-judgmental empathy for others (which is very good for remaining in your job with the flawed and often-criticized Mr. Trump). The Powerful Midpoint Pictures of Donald Trump

The following midpoint picture interpretations are gleaned from the natal chart of Donald John Trump born June 14, 1946 10:54 am edt Queens, New York USA and are quoted here from The Combination of Stellar Influences by Reinhold Ebertin (lest someone fuss that I made them up!)

Well yes, I'm a messy artist but perhaps you can somehow read my scribbles of Mr. Trump's natal planetary pictures and their potential expressions (any, all, or none may apply and all are subject to activation by various cosmic means, a lifelong condition here on Planet Earth):

If possible, read them all together (unless you know them already) for they paint quite a picture of this flawed individual whose personal flaws and foibles are now our own to some extent--even for those who 'resist' his White House tenure. Uncomfortably, we are all under the sway of Trump's 10th house Uranus @17Gemini, his oriental or 'guiding planet', which inspires in him a wide variety of shocking behaviors and erratic ideas and intensifies his odd or unusual communications style (Gemini), wouldn't you say? And though people get excited when seeing him in person (Sun-Uranus = NN of public contact), chaos attends sky god Uranus, planet of lightening, electricity, novelty, disruption, separation, and--perhaps more to the political point--radical reforms. As you know, the totally skeptical Mr. Trump (Mercury-Pluto = Saturn) is a quixotic, quirky reformer (Uranus in Gemini) who becomes overwhelmed with extreme emotions (Moon-Pluto = Chiron, the wound and/or blind spot) and has a tendency to be easily seduced and to speculate wildly (Jupiter-Neptune = Chiron--in his 2nd house of Money and Values). Plus, hypocrisy is often a part of any bubbly, frothy Jupiter-Neptune action and with Chiron in the midst of it he may be completely unaware of his hypocrisy although it's excessively obvious to most observers (and victims!)

And since I have often here and there complained of Mr. Trump's indiscreet, fantasy-prone, dishonest Mercury-Neptune square of the sneaky mind (A. Oken), I give it small mention since we're talking mostly midpoint pictures yet it is a major feature of his public persona and habitual behavior in which he prevaricates without having to think about it.

And so we see in current events and in these pictures that Gemini messenger Mr. Trump, who rules spontaneously by whimsy and notion, has a mission to fulfill and announcements to make (Mercury conjunct Mirzam, The Announcer who precedes Sirius, the Dog Star). His oppressive family conditions early in life (and probably even now with the Mueller investigation) gives a tendency toward emotional depression (Saturn-Neptune = ASC) which he endeavors to hide from himself in the many ways we've observed. A primary way is to go overboard in one's love life and to talk of such private matters too often and too familiarly. Then Venus-Neptune = ASC provides him with potentials for holding peculiar attitudes about love and women, impressionability, a lack of good taste (a gilded penthouse? ridiculous!), and....surprise--disappointment in love. This potential may sometimes aggravate the discontent seen in his Venus-Saturn conjunction in 11th house of Associations. As we've noticed, loyalty (Saturn) in relationships (Venus) is a must for Mr. Trump no matter how wrong or offensive he is on any topic or issue, or how disloyal he himself is.

And with such an attitude toward others he's bound to face disappointment in relationships, including marriage. Still, appearance is everything (Venus-Neptune) for Mr. Trump and an exalted public image must be maintained by hook or by crook (remember his alter ego, "John Miller"?) We can see Mr. Trump's intense interest in love, sexual encounters, and relationships showing here as well like a terrycloth bathrobe left askew for effect. Woman as goddess on a rose-festooned pedestal--until she disappoints, that is. Well, Mother did as we see in his Moon-South Node conjunction of separation and estrangement. With Moon-SN, his sense of timing isn't so fabulous either and perhaps we should watch as transit Mars nears his Moon-SN conjunction (20/22Sag) and opposes natal Sun-North Node in early March 2018. Potentials of this Mars transit are vindictive anger, rash actions, challenges to leadership, ego-bruises, and physical strain or injury, most of which sounds like the usual but a male (Mars), or Mr. Mars-Rising himself, may activate or trigger the energies to a higher level.

Then There's the Most Negative Midpoint Picture in His Natal Chart

As the current leading representative of America and the American people, the most disturbing midpoint picture on the list considering Trump's social position and influence over society is listed, upper left, and that's one of brutality, rage or fury of destruction, and the death of many people...Mars-Saturn = Pluto, deadly planet of the Criminal Underworld, the Occult, Psychology, Raw or Primal Power, and of Nuclear Power--here, in ego-based Leo. Plus, his Midheaven (Aspirations-Goals) falls within the stars of Perseus (the prince--and Trump's frisky Mars rises with royal Regulus) and at MC spotlights the passionate, aggressive energies of starry Capulus. Yes, his aspiration came true for he reached the head (Capulus) of the entire enterprise--again by hook or crook. And yet he often seems like the dog who caught the bus and... you know the rest.

Now according to Reinhold Ebertin concerning Mars-Saturn-Pluto constellations, the potential is available for him-of-the-massive-ego to push precisely the Wrong Button so let's pray (or fervently hope if that's all we can manage) that the remaining potential in this death-axis (Mars-Saturn) midpoint picture expresses in a way that overrides its most negative implications, whether an override comes by way of a Heavenly Source or from someone who will rein Trump in...the intervention of a higher power.
