Let's Not Blame Jupiter and Saturn for Men's Ill-Conceived Schemes

July 6, 2020: In case you haven't heard, the crises now enveloping the globe (pandemic-financial-social-environmental) will culminate on a draconian planning level in January 2021 at Davos, Switzerland as 'the reason for their treason' becomes more clear to the world at the Agenda 2021 Reset Summit. For years here on SO'W I've fussed over the power elite (and their hidden enablers) use of the Hegelian Dialect for just such devilishness as this: create problems then "solve" them the way you intended to all along.

And now that 2019 has morphed into 2020 with the corona virus putting the brakes on most human activities, depopulating nations, and rearranging society's deck chairs, we find that the Hegelian model where "oh please form a new world order now because global problems are simply Too Large for little nations states to handle" will become the 'order' of the day as 2021 begins if not before. After all, one reason globalism was forced upon us was so that future collapses would be worldwide and would figure into their Great Plan for totalitarian domination.

Now again, here is the Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction of November 12, 2020 for your consideration with the wealthy, manipulative Jupiter-Pluto duo representing such groups as 'developers and implementers of large-scale projects' - large projects such a global agendas:

Karmic Saturn The Lord of Time

So will the Great Conjunction in Air of societal planets Jupiter and Saturn time the establishment of the agenda's 'new order'? Cosmically, yes, their 20-year cycle does represent an 'out with the old in with the new' paradigm but obviously conspirators such Davos planners and other social tinkerers (and their astrologers!) have known the 'new order' conjunction was coming in December 2020 and will use it to hide behind what has been their Hegelian-style agenda to "reset" the world order along with boosts from the other Major Conjunctions of 2020 and the new cycles of activity they signify.

Yet as a Saturnian astrologer I must note how easy it is and will be for any astrologer to fall into the trap of laying Agenda 2021's implementation and negative outcomes at the feet of Jupiter and Saturn, who benevolently act, after all, as the 'Flywheel of the Universe' via their expansion-restriction qualities that keep the planets in our Solar System orbiting within their courses.

And this always reminds me of Psalm 23:4, KJV, which illustrates the assurance that in spite of all that depraved men can do upon this Earth, our Creator is The One in charge (my italics added for clarity):

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me; Thy rod (Saturn) and Thy staff (Jupiter) they comfort me."

DC Horoscope: America's Current Jupiter Return

America's Exalted Jupiter in Cancer: "Game Bird$ Feathering Their Nest$"

July 5, 2020: Below you see the Horoscope of America's current Jupiter Return which timed the beginning of a 12-year cycle of Jupiterian activities and conditions. Perfecting on July 22, 2013, the 2013 Return is in effect until the next US Jupiter Return on July 5, 2025. Please enlarge the image if you wish to read my study notes and yes, I totally agree with you that too many notes are squished upon the chart:

Hopefully you can see that around the outside of the chart (highlighted in lavender-pink) are the planets of July 4, 2020 (US Solar Return 2020) with 2020 Moon (9Cap14) conjunct 2013 Pluto in the 5th house of Gambling and Risk-Taking. US Jupiter is in Return 11th house (green) and rules 5th and 8th houses (Corporatism, Credit, Debt, Insurance, Shared Resources, Transformation, the Occult, Death). Wounded/Wounding Chiron therein is at '14Pisces' = "A Lady in Fox Fur" which for me, at the very least, refers to Fox TV, its Trumpian propaganda, and their 'chirons' across the bottom of our screens.

Meanwhile, with Leo rising, chart-ruler Sun applies only once: square restrictive legal planet Saturn (conjunct IC) suggesting those who concentrate on business, delays and annoyances, hard work and planning are required, and/or a potential for a lack of control (see lower left). This square in 2013 - still in effect in 2020 - is a natal echo for America since the same square appears in our founding horoscope (July 4, 1776) which makes the 2013 square more difficult to navigate as time progresses - at least more difficult without a keen awareness of the energies involved and how they can be better directed through maturity, a sense of duty, and careful planning.

Now as you know, Saturn is one of the karmic planets and the presence of the North Node nearby adds more karmic indications (in big-business-oriented Scorpio) about our country's future direction. According to R. Ebertin, the Saturn-NN duo relates to partnership difficulties and disadvantages, connections with older authorities, lawmakers, and lawyers, and/or teamwork which becomes steadily more difficult - Sun Square Saturn (ex: trying to get along or work with cantankerous old man Trump?). Again: maturity, a sense of duty, and careful planning are demanded for best results but tragically most Americans in 2020 realize that certain US government officials have turned their backs on such measured qualities and responsibilities. Therefore, America's natal Sun-Saturn square is being disrespected and neglected by Trump and associates, both foreign and domestic, as the rules, laws, and traditions favored by Saturn are disregarded and broken by scofflaw politicians, their operatives, and foreign handlers.

Trump's 'guiding planet' is his 10th house Uranus in Gemini (chaos and duplicity) so --

Now as you see, 2020 Uranus, planet of disruption, shock, chaos, separation, and perhaps innovation has crossed the Midheaven ('MC': the Why? Point) of the 2013 Jupiter Return chart (MC @4Tau50) with its tragically come-to-pass Sabian Symbol for '5Taurus' = "A Widow At An Open Grave" - well, in 2020 we now know why. (As you know, Jupiter likes to break through boundaries and as such, can relate to invaders such as viruses.) Also note that 2013 Uranus is at a critical-crisis degree in the 9th house; symbol for '13Aries' = "A Bomb Which Failed to Explode Is Safely Concealed." Naturally, this word picture may refer to multiple situations and conditions of loss and grief, including financial ones that have a potential for raids on the US Treasury, some from abroad (9th house) and facilitated by US politicians and their enablers. Plus, some plunderings and squanderings are perpetrated by thieving US politicians such as Trump, Mnuchin, and McConnell (and others before them). Of course, you may disagree if you must but there it is.

Activist Mars @6Can00 conjoined US natal Jupiter earlier in the day (4:44:44 am edt) which suggests such possibilities as overextended credit (some to the unworthy or unqualified, some to the US government by foreign entities), an activated spirit of enterprise, increased energy and confidence, an expanded appetite for luxury, and/or ethical issues and considerations. Well, yes, ethics and morals are definite concerns of astrological Jupiter but current day "game birds" aren't interested in such concerns at all or they couldn't behave as wastrels and scoundrels as they do.

But in 2020 there's another consideration: can the current Covid-19 health crisis and its fallout be found in this 2013 horoscope? Yes, I think so. Note the 1st house Venus @29Leo55, a critical-crisis 29th degree (conjunct Trump's natal Ascendant) with royal Regulus (success if revenge is avoided). Trump has favored red states over blue with medical supplies, 'nuff said about his love of revenge. Look next to Regulus for two 2013 midpoints: Mars-Saturn (harmful energy; brutality) and Jupiter-Saturn (the societal planets; politicians, government officials; the pair soon to meet in Great Conjunction at Winter Solstice 2020). These two midpoints are opposed by 2013 Neptune Rx, planet of contagion, so we have pictures of 'epidemic, grave loss, damage through major force (ex: war); pessimism', and/or 'begrudging the good fortune of others' (Ebertin). Relocate this Return chart to Washington DC and Neptune Rx @4Pis51 is in the 8th house of Death, and pollinating Mercury (conjunct US natal Sun 13Can19) that contracts whatever it touches backs into the 12th house of Politics, Large Institutions like Hospitals and Congress, Back Door Deals, Secret Activities, Karma, Self-Undoing, and the Unconscious.

Now this chart may be compared to future transits and progressions but the final chart factor I'll mention today is US Jupiter Return 2013's Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') in the 15 South Saros Series @19Tau31 (here in 10th house, highlighted in orange) with 15 South's themes of 'release of tension; a lingering situation suddenly clears with a sense of collective grief or loss' (Brady's Predictive Astrology).

Now if you're tempted to think that 15 South themes of 2013 have petered out by 2020, I ask you to consider that if the horoscope of our current Jupiter Return, timing a 12-year cycle that began in 2013 'lasts' until July 2025, then its 15 South PE remains influential and in part describes our current societal conditions of 2020 all too well.

Horoscopes: Donald Trump with Ghislaine Arrested

July 2, 2020: As you've heard, this morning at 8:30 am edt in Bradford, New Hampshire, Ghislaine Maxwell, culpable associate of the late Jeffrey Epstein, was arrested by the FBI. A myriad of questions about whether she'll "spill the beans" and "name names" of the rich and powerful who were customers of their sex trafficking enterprise are top of the list along with wonderings about those already known to have been involved in some way such as Donald Trump partying with Epstein during Trump's NY playboy days (you've seen video clips) prior to what Trump has described as their "falling out". This type of trafficking is a branch of the global crime syndicate that now operates out of Washington DC with you-know-who acting as figurehead.

So below is a bi-wheel of Trump's natal horoscope (center) - not with Ghislaine Maxwell's natal chart surrounding it (although some of her natal placements are penned around the outside: see her natal Gemini ASC in 10th house = peep-eye!). But with the horoscope of her arrest today, reported as "8:30 am edt", as noted, above:

So was Trump more involved with the Epstein-Maxwell enterprise than he now admits? Well, looking at his chart with the 'arrest' transits, you see his 12th house (hidden, secretive) Mars and Pluto in sexy Leo with their midpoint conjunct not only today's 'arrest' Ascendant (18Leo53) but both also conjunct Maxwell's natal North Node (18Leo44) of public and other contacts. My notes on these midpoint pictures are penned in the center of the chart where her indication of 'close ties to the rich and powerful' describes Trump via his sexy Mars-Pluto midpoint. Not a conclusive factor, of course, and it needs support from elsewhere in the charts, but there it is.

Another curious synchronicity is that Trump's second of three Mercury Returns (8Can51) perfected this very day and dates are listed, upper left, and highlighted in green. Amazingly, Trump's natal Mercury, planet of young people, precisely opposes Maxwell's natal Mercury (8Cap51) to the minute. At the top is the rounded-up Sabian Symbol for Trump's natal Mercury - "9 Cancer" = "A Tiny Nude Miss Reaches Into the Water for a Fish" - and I don't care to think about what this may imply in relation to such criminal activities against children. However, one of Trump's favorite words comes to mind: disgusting.

Also of interest is that in his Mercury Return chart for July 2, 2020 there appears a YOD pattern of crisis (also a health indicator), aka, a Finger of God pattern. It points toward the Moon - this morning @6Sag34 and rounding up to '7 Sag' we have "Cupid Knocking at the Door." Does this symbol refer to Maxwell's arrest (his crisis) and/or SDNY prosecutor Audrey Strauss who, in a sense, knocked at Ghislaine's door this morning about Cupid-related issues? Is Audrey Strauss still employed and for how long?

Also penned on are the three-fer dates of Maxwell's current Saturn Return/s and considering Saturn's realm of legal affairs and the law, I'd say she's having a demanding Saturn Return wouldn't you?

So if you need the natal data (RR; AA) of Ghislaine Maxwell it's penned on the chart, lower right, and highlighted in a magenta-pinkish color, plus, there's a link to her chart, above. Her Earth-Fire Sun Capricorn-Moon Leo personality blend tends toward social climbing, snobbishness, a dictatorial demeanor, and self-centeredness but I suppose this can be no surprise. And now that she's been taken into custody and release on bond is questionable due to flight risk, perhaps the 'Image for Integration' for Cap-Leo that most closely applies is,

"After a lone, silent climb up your mountain you greet the spotlights and television cameras with flair and aplomb." Somehow, I know she will.

Agent Trump Wants Pal Putin's Russia Back in the G-7

June 30, 2020: For unknown reasons, I saved the following post as a draft but never completed or published it. So with the current news about Trump knowing for months that Putin had put bounties on the heads of US soldiers in Afghanistan but did and said nothing about it while continuing to tout Russia's re-entry into the G7 Group of nations I'm posting it today for whatever info it may add. Even US voters who somehow, beyond reason, prefer Trump in November cannot possibly be okay with this.

May 31, 2020: Citing current G7 members, economic royalist Trump has asserted that, "It's a very outdated group of countries" which makes yours truly wonder how "outdated" his nibs considers America to be 'under his watch.' That's not exactly what he meant, of course. He meant, Let's invite my comrade and favorite co-conspirator Putin to the party! He proposed including Australia and a couple of other countries to make things appear more legitimate as they talk behind China's back about the future of China, their alleged G7 intention.

Say, remember when Canada flatly rejected Trump's idea of allowing Russia back in? As you know, Russia was tossed out of the elite group of social tinkerers in 2014 for annexing Crimea, an ongoing tragedy as I type. This is the entire globe's ongoing tragedy and I don't mean to imply that I consider China an outsider to "The big picture (that) commands a certain course of action which must be followed, very little option to do otherwise" (Tyl) which was timed for greater implementation all through 2017 into 2018 by transit Pluto conjunct 1993's Great Conjunction/s of Uranus and Neptune, the 'new world order' planets (18--20Cap). Perhaps those who could not 'see it' in 2017 are seeing draconian conditions starkly enforced in front of their faces in 2020 if they haven't before. And as you know, the current position of the Moon's South Node, aka, the tail of the dragon, is 29Sag13, a critical-crisis 29th degree (Sabian Symbol for '30Sag' = "The Pope Blessing the Faithful" as I'm certain he does; '30Sag' = negative expression: "inordinate love of self-display and surrender to a lust for power" (Jones).

Back to Trump's 'Movable Feast' G7 2020

Now so far I've discovered no definite date for a G7 meeting in September 2020 for it may not have been set yet, so we can't Moon-track the event today as we did in 2019 when Trump knocked noodles 'on the sidelines' with UK PM Boris Johnson. Apparently Trump prefers shadowy sidelines for his private whispers. Like ya do when you have many secrets and crimes to hide.

So as you know, sources are reporting that Trump's G7 2020 'plan' is to postpone G7 2020 'until at least September' from the original June 10, 2020 date and location at secure Camp David where barely a conspiratorial word can be whispered without a mic or camera picking it up - another reason for Trump and Putin to rock the G7 boat, yes?

With no definite date for G7 2020 (if you find one Please let me know!) we can at the least check the September 2020 Lunations (New and Full Moons) where we find that the month begins with a Full Moon @10Pis12 (September 2), an interesting cosmic occurrence since deceptive Neptune was @10Pisces opposite the 19 North Solar Eclipse that functioned as the Prenatal Eclipse of both Election 2016 and Inauguration 2017. Will new information be uncovered or leaked in September or late August concerning those significant events and/or the Trump-Putin love match? For Full Moons can reveal hidden things much as Lunar Eclipses, and New Moons can act in similar fashion to Solar Eclipses (Ovason). So you know what I always say around eclipse and lunation times? Peep-Eye!

As it turn out, the US Supreme Court is extremely accomplished at protecting corporations and a huge fan of preserving American Plutocracy (as is the US Constitution but that's another day's post).

And as we know, corporatism + statism = fascism. We've been repeatedly warned of this. And here it is under a stark, constraining Saturn-Pluto banner in January 2020 and a 'new order' ushering itself in with the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn at Winter Solstice 2020 - conjunct the US POTUS Sun's degree (00AQ+).

Just before Election 2020: Trump's Nodal Return

June 28, 2020: Well, apparently as the Cosmos would have it, Election Day 2020 (November 3) is preceded by Donald Trump's Nodal Return, a time when new or beneficial alliances tend to form, one's destiny is on the front burner and is perhaps up for reconsideration. If the current course is 'on track' things proceed with a Jupiterian boost although considering that the destiny of America is linked to such a sub-standard actor playing the role of POTUS, it pains my American heart to type this for it possibly adds to the portents of a second Trump term in office. Yes, Joe Biden's natal planets receive planetary contacts on November 3rd but scofflaw Trump's natal planets have more - and with the voting Moon (the public) in changeable Gemini, at first (12:00 am edt) conjunct Biden's natal 7th house Saturn, then floating on through Trump's Gemini trio (17-23 Gemini). None of this is completely positive for either candidate, of course, and Luna does tend to fluctuate or vacillate (plus voting planet Mercury stations on November 3rd, changes his mind/direction and/or represents election machine glitches) but a variety of factors are certain to bring the usual mixture of flowing vs blocking events and conditions that the Universe so often delivers to test a fellow's resolve and mettle.

So when Trump asserts that the 2020 Election is "rigged", we can know that certain tactics are already in play. It looks as if only a landside for Biden can override shady political tactics of the GOP to become our country's saving grace - to the extent that Republicans can be forced to get out of a Democratic president's way (plus, winning the Senate would definitely help!). Of course with Joe Biden, the GOP doesn't have the 'race card' to focus on this time around but they have a full deck of potential scandals they can stir up from next to nothing and have, in fact, already begun trying to do so (Ukraine, etc). And we know that a large indicator on November 3rd is transit Neptune Rx @18Pisces, eroding planet of deception and scandals, tapping at Biden's natal IC door and after a pause will proceed to silently slide on in to his 4th house of Roots and Domestic Scene (which also affects Biden's 10th house of Career), thereby undermining him if possible. Unless the scandals stirred up amount to nothing and thus fail to stick well enough to prevent a Blue Tsunami on November 3rd! But uh-oh - Neptune in Pisces also represents the pandemic and infections so there's the suggestion of a myriad of possibilities or even a Biden scandal connected to the ongoing catastrophe we're all facing. Well, I don't know about you but I'd say both Biden and Trump are in the 'high risk' category if for no other reason than their advanced ages.

In 2020 Larger Social Forces Prevail

So as you know, a 'new order' is arriving as we can feel and can know from all the major planetary conjunctions in 2020 including the Big One, Jupiter and Saturn which caps off the year at Winter Solstice on December 21, 2020 by conjoining @00AQ29, the degree of US POTUS Sun.

Actually, we've discussed this synchronicity before so I won't bore you with it now but will add that this synchronicity may have been realized and set up for future realization by FDR and his cronies when they changed the US Inauguration date from early March, usually the 4th (in 1934), to January 20th (or the 21st if the 20th falls on a Sunday) in 1937. This seems very likely an astro-fact to me if not to you, and as always, you're welcomed to disagree.

Yet in spite of all this, I am determined to publish the Horoscope of Donald Trump's Nodal Return 2020 which perfects on October 29th, mere days prior to Election Day 2020 with a few of my study notes added to the chart (below), plus, a few words on the symbolism of Trump's Nodal Axis - his Jupiterian North Node in natal 10th house of Career and Public Status and Saturnian South Node in his 4th house of Roots and Family (conjunct his Moon = estrangement from mama!). A few of Trump's natals are sprinkled around the outside of the chart and for those who use a founding horoscope for America with a 00/1Libra Midheaven ('MC'), there is vengeful Venus @1Lib44 leading a ruthless Locomotive shape of his Nodal Return planets as she crosses into our national 10th house where she'll become the prognosticator of victory or defeat in Election 2020 (in Libra, the incumbent wins unless a landslide for his opponent interferes) after which Venus will meet with US natal Saturn (14Lib48), suggesting a time when structure, order, and tradition could return to our nation:

As noted above, most of Trump natals are penned on and highlighted in pink including his natal Sun-Uranus = North Node so a Nodal Return (approximately every 19+ years) always reiterates his 10th house trio with potentials of 'a revolutionary spirit, self-will, upsets, catastrophes, sudden reforms'. With his North Node added we have 'friends and associates who encourage (his) activities' (Ebertin). When it comes to Drumpf that's probably friends in high and low places, both foreign and domestic. Not penned on for lack of space are his Venus and Saturn in watery Cancer (would be in Return 9th house of Legal Affairs and Ideology) and his Mercury @8Can51 (imagine the Tweetie One in Return 8th house).

Now as you see, this particular Nodal Return when set (symbolically) for Washington DC falls within the 8th house of Corporatism, Shared Resources, Debt, Credit, the occult, transformation, and death. Opposite in the 2nd hou$e of Values, Earning Ability, and Possessions we find Trump's natal Moon-SN conjunction now swiped again by the tail of the dragon, the transiting South Node, a karmic Saturnian combination of misuse of power and more (see notes, lower left corner), plus, potentials for bad timing and/or lack of popularity. Also in 2nd house is the previous/current Summer Solstice 2020 Solar Eclipse which perfected upon the Cardinal World Point of 00Cancer (global events) with its disruptive 4 North themes of 'restriction, restraint, separation, and illusion' (Brady). Obviously this describes in part the Covid-19 pandemic and its negative effects on families, domestic scene, business concerns, the caring professions, communications, finances, the American people in general and the US government with our 1776 Venus-Sun-Jupiter and Mercury Rx in Cancer. Naturally, the planetary gorilla skulking in the background of it all is America's approaching (already within a five-degree orb) Pluto Return/s of 2022.

And we should always note that whatever affects scofflaw Trump also affects America because tragically, as of January 20, 2017, his karma is our karma. So let's close this fuss with the rounded-up Sabian Symbols for Trump's natal Nodal Axis with the symbol for each end of the axis revealing the Illumination Point of its opposite - North Node of future direction vs South Node, a point of limitation when past behavior and/or talents are depended upon but no longer work in the present - hence neurotic behavior:

North Node @'21Gemini': "A Labor Demonstration" = "REPRESENTATION...positive expression: a consistent courage in attacking major problems at any cost of minor well-being or inconvenience; negative" (unconscious/shadow side - jc) "expression: futile ill-will and bluster."

South Node @'21Sag': "A Child and a Dog With Borrowed Eyeglasses" = "EXAMINATION...positive expression: an exceptional skill in the analysis of personal opportunity throughout the many dimensions of experience; negative expression: distorted vision and self-defeating prejudice".

The partisan Senate confirmation vote was 54 to 45 for "the cover-up general" so that scofflaw Trump would be shielded from answering for his crimes and could more easily continue his nasty habit of overstepping the traditional limits of Executive power. Basically, Barr was installed in order to save Trump's shall we say bacon.

How many threats of retaliation were delivered against any senators considering a vote against Barr I cannot tell you but in multiple spots in the horoscopes you'll find mention of career-ending associations with certain dark elements of society, including the criminal syndicate/procurement variety. See particularly the dark green highlighted notes in 10th house and on the right (via rounded-up Sabian Symbols for the 2019 ASC-DESC axis degrees; also see the MC's symbol, the WHY? Point, top right, "18Sag").

And note that Opus Dei agent Barr's confirmation occurred a mere 4 days prior to the DOJ Uranus Return, number three of three (dates penned on chart, in blue), during what continues in 2020 and beyond to be 'a titanic power struggle' between global forces -> Pluto in Capricorn opposing Pluto in Cancer with the 2019 North Node ('NN") pointing toward 1934 Pluto, and the 2019 SN (aka, 'tail of the dragon') swiping 2019 Pluto. So considering our titanic topic is it curious that the pairing of Pluto-NN is sometimes known as the "tiger by the tail" aspect?

Now here's an article about the alleged genesis of Barr's 'job application' memo but to cynical me (as a former resident of Washington DC!) this all seems a big old set up especially since Republicans knew very well what Bill Barr was and is capable of perpetrating to keep a president in office: William Barr's Unsolicited Memo to Trump about Obstruction of Justice in which Barr criticized the Mueller investigation of Russian interference in the Trump campaign and "questioned the scope" of the investigation. But perhaps we can agree that the "obstruction of justice" has been on the Barr-Trump-Republican side.

Mercury: the Trader, Traitor, Salesman, and Trickster Awaiting at the Crossroads

When it comes to transactional planet Mercury in the natal horoscope of Donald Trump, a few first things to know include its sign: Moon-ruled Cancer, and house: 11th of Groups, Associations, Hopes and Wishes. (Perhaps a review of Trump's natal Mercury is in order. It's pretty skanky so beware.) The next consideration is any aspects made to or from Mercury, what I call the 'tofu planet' because astrologically speaking, Mercury absorbs flavors or vibes of any planet it contacts. Versatile, adaptable, and changeable!

Now in Trump's case, this is his problematic Mercury-Neptune square from 11th to 2nd house. From this we find that Trump's yearly Mercury Returns repeat and emphasize the square to natal Neptune each year which denotes a period when errors, woolgathering, indiscretion, and deception come forward and the mind can play tricks (self-delusion) while fantasies take over his thoughts, communications, and plans. Needless to say, his usual tendencies toward these, plus, his misperceptions, exaggerations (boasting), and sneaky schemes will be spotlighted in June and July although I'd have a difficult time telling you when they aren't on distressing display, much to the disappointment of a majority of the American people (and the rest of the world).

Another consideration of his Mercury is which planets and houses (departments of life) Mercury disposits or rules in his radix chart. This would be his 2nd hou$e (cusp 22Vir57 conjunct US natal Neptune which squares our natal Mars) and his 11th house (cusp 29Gem18, a critical-crisis 29th degree - where transit North Node now points as it enters his 10th house of Career and Public Status). So we see that Mercury Returns for Trump always affect his 2nd and 11th houses in particular. (We also see that the speculator-fraudster pair, bubbly Jupiter and Neptune, are posited in his 2nd hou$e with his wounded/wounding Chiron snugged between them but that's beyond the scope of this Mercurial post.)

So now the question is: does Mercury rule any of Trump's natal planets?

Why yes, glad you asked! For as you know, Trump's Sun (adult personality; essence) is in Gemini, sign of the eternal child, as are his guiding planet Uranus, and North Node. As you know, his 10th house trio is always on display for the whole world to see and links him to radical reforms and political activity. Erratic Uranus, planet of chaos, shock, and disruption, is his 'guiding planet' because it is last to rise before his Sun, as we've discussed in prior posts. And of course, Gemini and technology planet Uranus relate to his constant use of Twitter to send his messages directly to a wider public (10th house)- but with plenty of misinformation, fibs, exaggerations, insults, and propaganda therein (duplicitous Gemini, ruled by trickster Mercury!).

Now with this particular Mercury Return 2020, Trump is experiencing an extended Mercurial period due to transit Mercury's retrogradation ('Rx'). Exact dates that Mercury returns to 8Can51 are June 5th (already occurred a few hours prior to the Lunar Eclipse @15Sag34), July 2 (Rx), and July 20th which brings him a transit Mars-square-natal Mercury contact that suggests potentials for frustration, anger, quarrels (especially with males), aggression, giving or receiving incorrect information or directions, and obstacles that may be encountered during travel including bad weather. On July 20th, Return Mercury is in Return 6th house and the possibility of faulty wiring could turn up which can relate to equipment or to the brain (I'm not wishing just reporting!), plus, abundant energy will be available so that ideas can be put into action, or new work methods or techniques may be implemented. Obviously, 6th house matters are spotlighted and on his mind including health, daily rounds, military, police, and/or civil service.

So to summarize what I'm subtly suggesting here, 'Mercury at the Crossroads' - the Return period which is more or less a 'new start' for Mercury The Fool - could have been sparked by Trump's recent disappointing, ego-deflating rally turnout in Tulsa, OK, with the idea that perhaps the time has arrived for his Mercurial mind take a look at itself and think about upping its game of persuasion and strategy. Maybe find new topics for his speeches because his old ones are mighty stale - and the November 2020 Election approaches stealthily on cat's paws. Not that he's self-reflective enough to do this but it is time. No, I'm not counting the coronavirus in this post nor am I focused on other planetary considerations - even his emotional, unconsciously driven Moon-SN is left out today. The only star of this post is his little Mercury, planet of speeches and voters, thought patterns, tweets, transactions, cheating, theft, and falsehoods.

So if by chance a turning point in Trump's behavior or in his campaign for 're-election' has been reached, it may be Trump's Mercury we'll have to thank. Or, more than likely given his record, to blame.
