DC Horoscope: FEMA with April 2020 planets

April 24, 2020: Below is the 'noon' Horoscope of FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency created April 1, 1979 when President Jimmy Carter signed the government department into being. Surrounding the chart and highlighted in blue are today's transiting planets (noon edt), plus, a few of Trump's natal planets such as his 11th house Saturn in Cancer rising on FEMA's 'noon' Ascendant followed by his natal Venus.

The current off-on conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn conjoins the noon chart's Descendant, and FEMA's Pluto Rx @18Lib02 conjoins Trump's natal 2nd house Jupiter Stationary. Rounding up the degree of their Jupiter-Pluto pairing, we have: "19libra" = "A Gang of Robbers in Hiding" which in my opinion relates to the current banditry of N-95 masks and other medical supplies ordered by certain states but "seized" by FEMA (and/or other entities) on behalf of Trump's purloined stash (some say, intended for red states only and/or for selling to foreign buyers--creating profit for Trump?):

Anyway, be that as it may or may not be, publishing the FEMA Horoscope here makes the (noon) chart available online in case anyone wants to utilize it or follow transits or progressions in the future that affect its planets. Plus, you see the Water Grand Trine which adds a protective vibe to the agency along with protective Jupiter exalted in Moon-ruled Cancer but at a critical 29th degree ("30Cancer" = "A Daughter of the American Revolution") and straining to enter Leo.

And note that the melancholy Moon-Saturn midpoint conjoins the noon Ascendant suggesting 'meetings with sick or depressed people' (Ebertin). Of course, this FEMA does, or is supposed to do.

Well, my work here is almost done but I should add that there are two factors I neglected to pen upon the chart:

FEMA's Syzygy Moon, New Moon @6Ari50--where 2020 Chiron, the wounded healer, now traverses (conjunct the 'noon' MC)--and FEMA's Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') in the 17 South Saros Series which perfected on February 26, 1979 @7Pis29--opposite karmic Saturn, planet of authority, responsibility, hard work, and loss. Themes of 17 South eclipses: 'good news concerning relationships; sudden success with group matters' (Brady).

Perhaps you remember that a 17 South Solar Eclipse last manifested on March 20, 2015 @29Pisces - another 29th degree - and although 17 South themes sound rather nice, at Spring Equinox 2015 it eclipsed, and its positive themes were interfered with, by a difficult fixed star, Scheat, which is known primarily for its negative potentials of 'misfortune, suffering, suicide, murder, imprisonment, and/or "malevolence of a sublime scope"' (A. Louis).

And the March 20, 2015 Solar Eclipse which triggered "malevolence of a sublime scope"? It's the Prenatal Eclipse of Trump's June 16, 2015 "prez bid" New Moon @25Gemini of malevolence which perfected the very morning the propagandist, with his natal Mars in Leo opposing US natal Moon (We The People--and our Aquarian Moon opposing his Mars), descended the Trump Tower escalator to perform his political charade for a paid-to-be-there audience.

This fellow exists deep in the realms of malevolence! So Let's Never Forget that Trump was born under the cruel influence of a malignant midpoint picture--Mars-Saturn = Pluto with potentials for: "brutality; the rage or fury of destruction; intervening of a higher power; bodily injury or harm; murder, death of many people" (R. Ebertin).

And - more's the pity - the greedy geezer is now in charge of FEMA.

Chart-ruler Venus in 1st house makes no applying Ptolemaic aspects to other planets but, due to retrogradation, won't conjoin the North Node until early August (see lower left); however, Venus conjoins US natal Mars in Gemini suggesting some measure of cooperation.

May 2020 Jupiter Direct Stations on US Pluto: nwo

April 20, 2020: Below is the DC Horoscope of the moment on May 14, 2020 that transit Jupiter @27Cap14:25 Stations Direct upon US natal Pluto (@27Cap33 Rx natal 2nd hou$e of the National Treasury) with implications of a 'new world order' now forced into place and the additional gaining of power.

According to Reinhold Ebertin, on May 14th Trump will be "acting under the influence of others, showing weakness, and laying himself open to being led astray or corrupted" (Sun = Neptune-ASC). Yes, this has already been the case for years, I know! For one thing, he owes China, and China owns the debt of the US. Precisely what the Founders warned against.

Remember in October 2018 when Trump issued his first Emergency Alert via FEMA to the cell phone users of America? My suspicion is that we'll be hearing alarming messages again through the same channel. The 'new world order' ('NWO') aka, One World Government, has long been a subject of complaint on Stars Over Washington yet the following video contains particularly sensitive topics so a Warning Advisory is necessary. Why so sensitive? Because it asserts that Trump is no longer playing president because Someone Else is in charge--guess who?

Note that on March 13, 2020, Trump declared that the Covid-19 outbreak "constitutes a national emergency, beginning March 1, 2020". According to the video above this is when Trump gave over control of the US to FEMA and is no longer acting as president.

Astrologically, the change of rulership on March 1st falls under the sway of the February 23rd New Moon @4Pis29 (America's Progressed Sun degree in December 2008--our Progressed Full Moon when the US had reached into the world as far as she could go) while Trump's March 13th declaration came after the culminating 'Super' Full Moon of March 9, 2020 @19Vir37. And of course, Virgo-Pisces polarity is the victim-savior axis with all earthly and cosmic events so far this year falling under the auspices of the 3 South Solar Eclipse of December 26, 2019 (4Cap06) with its 'traumatic transformation through news received or short journeys undertaken; sudden endings of relationships' vibes (Brady).

Then there was the March 24, 2020 New Moon @4Ari12 which culminated with the Full Moon of April 7th/8th @18Lib44 and directly spotlighted Trump's 2nd hou$e Jupiter @17Lib27. Next up will be the April 23rd New Moon @3Tau24 conjunct the Discovery of Chiron degree.

April 2020: Will Trump Pardon Roger Stone?

April 19, 2020: One of the few topics of the week that does not directly involve coronavirus or Covid-19 and valiant efforts to treat the illness is, Will Donald Trump pardon his longtime pal and culprit-in-arms Roger Stone so that The Halloween Jester's prison sentence is lifted from his nattily dressed shoulders?

With our prison system rife with the contagion, Trump may use the coronavirus as justification for relieving Mr. Stone of the necessity to serve his sentence for as Stone told Tucker Carlson on his Friday night program (April 17th), With coronavirus my jail time is essentially a death sentence, something that could be said of all prison sentences for the foreseeable future, at least in the United States.

Thing is, Roger Stone is one of those well-connected fellows who know too much and that 'too much' happens to concern the mobbed-up miscreant Donald Trump. Yet there are more obvious political issues involved for Trump, such as his electability and the slight chance that a pardon for Roger could 'turn off' some voters who favor a second term for Herr Spanky. But I ask you: since when has Trump acted with careful deliberation of the ultimate consequences of his preferred actions? After all, in the realms of chaos and erratic behavior, Trump's Uranus in duplicitous Gemini is not only quirky and impulsive--it's oriental in his natal chart and as such acts as his guiding planet!

Of course, home detention may be a possibility for the convicted Roger Stone (with the aid of Cover-Up-General Bill Barr) and if so, Stone will become like (most of) the rest of us: isolated in sequestration, aka, social distancing, aka, sheltering in place. Actually, for myself I prefer to call it artisting-in-residence especially when I'm sitting at my drafting table facing a blank sheet of paper!

But from the looks of this developing situation, it would seem more appropriate for Roger Stone to call house detention a new lease on life.

Trump says US Presidential Authority is "Total"!

Perhaps it was only intended to be a distraction from criticism, but on Monday April 13, 2020 at 6:58 pm edt, Donald Trump asserted that, "The authority of the President of the United States is total." My suspicion is that this is a flag he ran up the American flagpole to see who would salute. But naturally, people in their right minds know that Trump's attempt to project power and persuasion with a statement drenched by his desire for monarchical rule of America is totally false. Monarchy is, of course, exactly what our ancestors sacrificed, fought, and died for in order to reject such a form of government in this, the 'New World'. This compels me once again to my conjecture that Trump has no Revolutionary War ancestors. And it shows. Well, perhaps he can claim one of the defeated Hessians!

And so as you might expect, my streak of Saturnian Astrology just had to peek at a horoscope set for the time and date in Washington DC.

In the horoscope we find US natal Saturn exalted in Libra and rising on the Ascendant along with Trump's natal 2nd hou$e Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio of planets. Since our Trump nightmare began, I've been wondering when his grand dreams-speculating-inflationary-hypocritical-scandal-prone pair of Jupiter-Neptune would make itself even more prominent in our lives.

Consider the following in light of his offensive assertion of absolute power (which corrupts absolutely):

Jupiter-Neptune = ASC: 'living in a world lighted by personal imagination and an emotionally rationalized agenda; speculation'. With US natal Saturn: 'lack of confidence; experiencing the consequences issuing from false hopes; plans which come to nothing; disappointment; losses'.

Plus, with expansive Jupiter and powerful Pluto aligned (with two more exact conjunctions to go for this duo of Plutocracy) we might wish to consider their potentials as apex planets within a midpoint picture that formed on April 13:

Moon-Mars = Jupiter: 'temporary expansion of aggression toward the common people; fanaticism; one-sidedness'. With Pluto: intensified defiance during periods of uncertainty; powerful opinionation and a demanding nature.' (Tyl; Ebertin; Munkasey).

Meanwhile, transit Jupiter and Pluto in late Capricorn - a pair implying such things as: 'criminal elements; extreme depletion of resources; destruction of legal documents' - are now taking their bow atop Inauguration 2017's Midheaven ('MC'), the Goal Point. So let's look at one more midpoint picture that will retain a measure of ongoing influence:

Jupiter-Pluto = MC: ambition; hardworking attainment of a power position.

Now the last lunation prior to his statement, its Syzygy Moon, was the Full Moon of April 7,2020, the second 'Super moon' of 2020 (three more to go). The revealing rays of this particular Moon @18lib46 spotlighted Trump's natal Jupiter (17lib27) which was Stationary at his birth and began moving in direct motion a mere 3 hours 11 minutes after he hatched. And as you know, astrological Jupiter, planet of abundance and increase--and often sporting a massive Zeus complex--can act as a definite boundary-and-law breaker who rushes in with little if any concern for the consequences of his ill-considered disregard for law, necessary limits, and common sense.

Another Total Great American Eclipse April 2024

A Brief Look at the Aries Total Eclipse of April 2024

In the years 1878 and 2017, America experienced what many call 'Great American Eclipses'. You'll remember the eclipse of August 21, 2017 @29Leo and its path of visibility stretching across America from Oregon to South Carolina--and Trump removing his safety glasses to stare directly up at the Eclipse which did, after all, conjoin his natal Ascendant and Mars rising. Is it my imagination or is Trump's right eye is looking a bit weak lately? As you'll see on the eclipse horoscope, below, 'blind spot' Chiron is conjoined (or 'eclipsed') by the April 2024 Solar Eclipse--and eclipses are often known as "cosmic blinks"! Plus, in Astrology Chiron is also known as the wounded healer, The Key, and the Christ archetype; there are several other health indications in the horoscope if one enlarges the image and reads them.

So the third Total 'Great American' Solar Eclipse, visible in the US (see link, below), manifests on April 8, 2024 @19Aries in the 8 North Saros Series. An interesting fact is that the 2024 eclipse path of totality will intersect with the path of the August 2017 eclipse at Makanda, Illinois, plus, other cities will be involved as well and are handily listed here. Funny that a Great American Eclipse 2017 Horoscope happened to be published on SO'W in 2017 set for--Makanda, Illinois and Mercury was Rx then, too, but in its own sign of Virgo.

Horoscope: 8 North Solar Eclipse April 8, 2024 2:20:38 pm EDT Washington DC

Although Symbolic There's Another Cosmic Event in 2024

Penned on the chart above is America's Progressed New Moon ('SP'--in blue) which symbolically perfects on March 25, 2024 @19Pis26 and in April is conjoined by the eclipse's Saturn-Neptune and Mars-Neptune midpoints. As you know, Saturn-Neptune is the "illness axis" and can be a marker for Socialism (and for invisible government) while Mars-Neptune tends toward infections, epidemics, or even help at the right time! (Ebertin).

And perhaps it's worth noting that prior to our SP New Moon in Pisces, America enters the symbolic Balsamic phase on November 28, 2020, the risky 'dark of the Moon' period (similar to entering a dark tunnel) when anything can happen and with SP Moon @1AQ07 conjunct our SP Pluto @29Cap27 and SP Icarus. This is also conjunct US Inaugural Sun--assuming there's a US president by then. If any reader wants to see America's Balsamic horoscope, leave a comment with this post and I'll attempt to publish the SP chart with transits to it. But for now, it's back to the 2024 eclipse horoscope:

Yes, medical breakthroughs could be forthcoming (if not before! plus, Jupiter and Uranus conjunct @21Tau50 on April 20/21 depending on your time zone = lucky break!) for the Great American Eclipse of 2024 falls into the 8 North Saros Series with themes of: 'flashes of genius; visions; intuitive leaps, insights, inventiveness' (Brady's Predictive Astrology). Inventiveness gains some support from the intellectually flexible, technology-savvy Mercury-Uranus midpoint atop the eclipse's Midheaven ('MC' @7Tau59--conjunct two fixed stars: danger-prone Hamal and Schedir the Queen). Mercury-Uranus at MC suggests professional folk such as physicists, mathematicians, cosmobiologists, researchers, and inventors who are able to think about a matter keenly and engage in a swift course of action.

Of course, Mercury-Uranus-MC may also indicate those who spout propaganda during emergencies. But we're suffering that already, am I right?

November 12, 2020: Jupiter Conjunct Pluto #3 of 3

Jupiter Hearts Pluto 2020: A Grand Year for Plutocracy and Exploitation

A previous post appeared here on SO'W concerning 2020's three conjunctions of financial planets Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn. Follow the link to view a tri-wheel of all three conjunction horoscopes set for Washington DC. Their conjunctions range from 24Cap53 (April 4, just passed), to 24Cap06 (June 30), and back to 22Cap52 (November 12), a highly fertilized degree area of the Zodiac this year. Of course, this area of Saturn-ruled Capricorn relates to banking and investment, bail-outs-loans-debt, government, laws, and other Saturnian realms such as authority, systems, structure, order, The Establishment, conservatism, Capitalism, management, stability, the past, and the status quo. Add Pluto and we have powerful religious or military figures, wealthy CEOs, prominent judges, organizers of large-scale projects, people with power or money to dispense, and plutocrats exploiting the masses.

Meanwhile, as the novel Coronavirus pandemic has laid bare, the time has come for 'the old' to be replaced by 'the new' and for those who 'speak astrologese' this is made obvious astrologically by the multiple Great Conjunctions of planets in 2020 that begin ticking away their new cycles in timely fashion. And as 2022 nears, many can feel Pluto approaching his natal degree in the US founding horoscope of 1776--the old order now turned gray around the muzzle. Major transformation now in progress!

Plus, Jupiter and Saturn Start Over Again in December

Of course, the Great Mutation (Conjunction in AIR) of societal planets Jupiter and Saturn will arrive at Winter Solstice 2020 (conjunction horoscope shown) to bookend the year and the era with a fresh beginning in the expansion-contraction realms of life. Plus, their Conjunction joins with America's POTUS Sun (that's US Inaugural Sun @00AQ+ since January 20, 1937 when Freemason FDR changed the Inaugural date from early March with its Pisces Sun).

So what might Jupiter-Saturn = POTUS Sun bring? Will positive leadership be shown? Must boasting from the White House continue? Will the US government's traditional checks and balances finally be crushed? How about the infiltrated, weakened US Justice System? Perhaps we'll find that leniency vs harshness issues turn up in legal, social, and/or economic systems. At the least, we can expect changes in government and/or repression based on morality and ethics (ethical asteroid Pallas conjoins the November Jupiter-Pluto conjunction--and the natal Vertex of Donald Trump). Of course, Pallas also signifies the daughter so Ivanka may be prominent in a new way come late October or early November.

Now below is the third of three conjunctions on November 12 of Jupiter and Pluto, a Plutocracy pair of speculation and inflated power cravings. Obviously, the blending of their energies relates to current bail-outs and other financial, social, and religious happenings going on in 2020 but this November horoscope catapults their energies into 2021 and remains active for about the next 13 years--actually all three of their Conjunction horoscopes remain active with the 13 years divided into quarters of influence. This method gives precedence to the April 5, 2020 chart for the next 4+ years until 2024 or so. (Their next Conjunction will be a one-fer on February 5, 2033 @14AQ50.)

Significant is that the November 12, 2020 Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap51 is joined by a transiting midpoint of Mercury-Mars. This duo has political implications in the realms of debate, oration, and discussion. It also relates to powers of thought, determination, achievement and the spirit of enterprise. A few potentials of the midpoint pictures are penned on the chart, upper center, but there was no room to add: 'quarrels, judgments, rash actions, lawsuits and controversies, obstinacy', and/or 'retaliation' (Ebertin).

Lower right you see a 'YOD' or a semblance of one for one point of it is the Ascendant rather than a planet. However, midpoint pictures may be read with the Moon--leader of a Locomotive shape ruthlessly determined on success--Venus, and Trump's natal Jupiter because the Moon conjoins his 2nd house Jupiter. So we have potentials for:

Neptune-ASC = Venus:'showing dislike'; with Moon: disharmony; and DJT's Jupiter: 'the urge to cheat others, or, cheating others'; 'loss of money and/or possessions' (Ebertin).

And if you're looking for the applying aspects of chart-ruler Venus you'll find them, lower left, with a few possibilities. Yes, wastefulness and extravagance seem to be on the Jupiter-Pluto menu--but also total dominance over others.

And finally, the Prenatal Solar Eclipse in the difficult 4 North Saros Series occurring at Summer Solstice 2020 (@00Can21) influences the 2nd house of Money, Possessions, Values, Earning Ability, and the National Treasury with 4 North themes of: 'restriction, restraint, inhibition, separation ("social distancing"?), illusions, events that block, misjudgments of strength or the situation; wait until the eclipse passes before taking any real action' (Brady) which on one level I take to mean that our current sequestration measures should continue through the rest of 2020 and perhaps beyond. But with impatient Mars-rising Trump on the loose, what are the chances that caution will rule the day?

Horoscope 1776: Washington Crossing the Delaware

As a mere "armchair genealogist" nothing I discover online through the research of others is for 100% certain yet some information I find does seem to be genuine. One such is my ancestor Francis Power of Maryland (born February 21, 1756) who is known to have signed up to serve in the Revolutionary War with the Marblehead Mariners under Colonel John Glover. And as you probably know, the Marblehead Mariners were the regiment that ferried the Continental Army, its artillery, horses, and General George Washington across the Delaware River that stormy night of rain, sleet, snow, and ice, a legendary event which is famously depicted in the painting, above.

On a genealogical note, my ancestor Francis Power would have been 20 years old on that difficult night and headed for age 21 on February 21, 1777. So where is young Francis Power in the Crossing Horoscope shown below? Three links pop out: his natal North Node @11Virgo conjuncts the Crossing's IC (12Vir20), the Basis or Foundation of the Matter, his natal Mars in early Cancer rises at sunset (Mars the warrior), and his natal Uranus in mid-Pisces conjuncts the Midheaven/'MC' (12Pis20). Naturally, both Cancer and Pisces are Water signs. And as you know, the Mars-Uranus duo suggests potentials for: 'a sudden application of force, unusual achievements through an extraordinary power of effort, passing a test of nerves, a struggle for survival, violent people, revolutionaries, fighters for freedom, and/or 'danger or peril which has fortunately passed' (Ebertin). Whew!

Well, I suspect that astrologically, Mars-Uranus describes Washington Crossing the Delaware - and the American Revolution - as well as anything else could do. But for 'Francis the Mariner' I'll add the 4th house Mars-Neptune combo as well for its 'people associated with water or navigation' description, plus, the fog of war. Plus, the fact that the two planets are in different signs (Neptune in Virgo, Mars in Libra--conjunct Hopi, asteroid of ambush and intolerance) is revealing and probably relates to the fact that some of the Marblehead Mariners were African-American, some Native American, and thus they were disapproved of or criticized (Virgo) by certain parties. My feeling is that they successfully did the job at hand so kudos all around!

Yet ferrying General Washington was not Mr. Power's only military service for he also fought at the Battle of Bunker Hill (aka, Breed's Hill because it actually was) according to my genealogy research, and apparently fought in the naval War of 1812. One clue concerning the reliability of his military service record is that he received land after the War in Georgia, my home state. And there is where his line descends through a few generations to yours truly, born in Athens, Georgia.

So! Below you see a messily marked up Horoscope of George Washington Crossing the Delaware. Word is, they began the crossing at "about sunset" so the horoscope is set symbolically for sunset 4:35:06 pm LMT with the previous night's Full Moon (@3Can55 8:06 pm LMT) rising. However, the light of the waning Full Moon may not have been much help for their activities considering the tremendous blizzard (veiling their efforts from the enemy!) that they had to slog through in order to avoid the river's chunks of ice, to land and unload heavy equipment, ambush their opponents, the Hessian soldiers encamped at Trenton, and, exhausted, to fight and win the Battle of Trenton, a victory that invigorated the Patriot cause, Hallelujah!:

Please enlarge the image to read my study notes if you wish. You'll see a protective Air Grand Trine (Venus-Mars-Uranus) which suggests a closed circuit of people with intellect, idealism, and planning ability while T-Squares add dynamic energies to the event (see them listed, lower right).

Eclipse-wise, the Crossing falls into the 13 North Saros Series (see its theme, lower left) which is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse Series ('PE') of the American Revolution of which this crucial Crossing event is a part. Occurring August 14, 1776 @21Leo52, I consider 13 North to be the true PE of America because the final signing of the Declaration of Independence on August 2 fell within 13 North's influence (signing was within two weeks of the eclipse). Its theme tells the American tale!

And yet, dear reader, you're welcomed to disagree but there it is!

Astro-Note: almost 23 years after the night depicted above, George Washington succumbed to a painful throat infection which was probably made more deadly by a recurrence of an earlier disease - all together a Mars-Neptune affair. We should note, however, that as far as the Astrology of battles go, Jupiter the General @22Cancer is retrograde (Rx) which is not a favorable condition for the attacking forces. My thought is that perhaps General Washington's natal Jupiter being retrograde had some say in the matter because he was accustomed to Jupiter Rx energies of carefully taking his own moral code into consideration while, in this case, performing as a hero with a social conscience, a strong sense of justice, and a deep desire to avoid negative reprisals. So as it turned out, with the excellent teamwork and cooperation of Washington's troops and officers, it was the Hessian General Rall for whom the Crossing and the Battle of Trenton resulted in an unfavorable outcome.

Below is a brief synopsis on video concerning the founding of the U.S. Postal Service by the Second Continental Congress on July 26, 1775 with Benjamin Franklin appointed its first postmaster. In that era, Congress considered the founding of a postal service to be "crucial to the future of the 13 Colonies," a sentiment that modern-day (Republican) congress members do not hold because it doesn't jive with their campaign to sabotage and collapse the US government, and to privatize everything they can grab. Perhaps a few Democrats agree with this, I don't know. But ending the US Post Office is yet another example of how the greedy GOP is an anti-societal bunch of operators with bad intentions toward the American people and with no thought for the common good:

As for the Astrology of July 26, 1775, our USPS was founded under Sun Leo-Moon Cancer energies, a vulnerable and self-absorbed combination. Communicating Mercury @12Leo was retrograde that day which suggests a subsequent re-do or review of the legislation which formed the service. This relates to the fact that President George Washington signed further legislation, the Postal Service Act, which made the agency a permanent part of the federal government on February 20, 1792 with Mercury direct in Aquarius. Permanent. George Washington did that.

So as you know, Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the planet often represented as a wing'ed messenger as shown, below. Additionally on July 26, 1775, expansive, inflating Jupiter was also posited in chatty Gemini, signifying the tremendous volume of mail delivered through the service's 237 years of operation. Oddly enough, Republicans behave as if they've never benefited from the US Postal Service! (Imho, anyone who depends solely on an Internet powered by an ancient electrical grid for all their communications must be completely daft. And excessively gullible.)

And so 2020 has dawned and the agency is on the verge of running out of funds in June! But this is thanks largely to 'help' from the Republican Party's imposed pension funding scam (a set-up for failure), and Trump's rejecting a bail-out package for the service - because mail-in votes could elect Democrats (!) in November so Trump would rather kill, or at least seriously hobble, the USPS than to lose the election. Astounding how much election rigging it's taking Republicans just to keep a substandard, unfit-for-office reality TV host playing at being 'POTUS'! Besides, the US Post Office delivers people's meds and other health supplies, too! See Postal Service on the verge of collapse and 63,000 jobs are at risk. Our nation is on the verge along with it, for meanwhile, transit Pluto creeps through governmental Capricorn and lends a hidden hand with the destruction of Saturnian structures as he heads for America's first-ever Pluto Return/s - three exact returns all through 2022.

Therefore, for the future of our Republic and the common good of We The People as we attempt to 'save what's left', my fervent hope is that a majority of Americans will speak up and out against the Republicans' plan to remove the US Post Office from our lives, a plan which just might culminate in 2027. Why then?

Easter Sunrise 2020 Washington DC: Sun Trine Moon!

Easter April 12, 2020 Sunrise: He Is Risen! is how my Easter posts have always begun in celebration of the Good News for those who believe (as do I). Unfortunately, this post has Trumpism drizzled all over it due to current conditions of the Coronavirus contagion so ably encouraged by contagious Neptune floating through its own shady, frail sign of Pisces and with handmaidens harsh Saturn-Pluto and infectious Mars telling their own turbulent tales. For as you know, Neptune's urge-to-merge desires are being fulfilled all too well these days on a cellular level as people across the globe suffer and pass away, their demises often egged on by too-little-too-late medical care which is stymied, mishandled, or denied by politicians and their enablers of an anti-societal mindset, animated by the spirit of destruction that now roams the Earth almost completely unchecked. As foretold.

Conditions will get worse and stats will increase 'they say', and this we intuit without being told from the screens of our TVs and devices where 'talking heads' follow their scripts of doom, jobs are lost, and financial markets crash around greedy ears. Remember that year 2020 is forever imprinted by its first eclipse--a Lunar Eclipse at critical degree conjunct a certain star.

Meanwhile, shocking Uranus is busy lurching through earthy Taurus, a money sign of growth and development, as earth changes continue to alarm and harm, environmental damage and danger distress us, and new finance is sought from unusual sources. Yet with the astrological Moon associated with the physical body and health, how curious that April 12, 2020 is a day of a monthly Trump Lunar Return so it's interesting that Trump has linked the day to his idea of an early recovery and "time to get back to work" after dire government commands to "shelter in place" and stay home from work if you're symptomatic, have tested positive for Covid-19, or are simply contagious with whatever. Apparently his mind has been changed to a later date but I wonder if his eagerness is misplaced optimism, foolhardiness, or a political tactic against his opponents in a desperate attempt to "win" by hook or crook in November? Maybe all of the above. After all, transit Neptune, planet of fantasy, deception, and fraud, continues moving into an exact square with Trump's natal Sun-Moon opposition suggesting that he's the wrong person to go to when realism is needed due to illusions, deceptions, misunderstandings, mistakes, easy upsets, and/or eroding relationships. Of course, no one needs Astrology to tell them any of this for we know his fantastical history of lies, deceit, and misconceptions. Yet in spite of Donald Trump, Easter 2020 brings comfort to the afflicted via the Sun-Moon trine for those who care to receive the gift!

Now as you know, Sun Aries-Moon Sagittarius is a double Fire combo of conscious + unconscious energies with embers that fly high into the stratosphere like a roaring bonfire when things are going its way. But once reality steps in, the 'black dog of depression' hits hard. Historically, Winston Churchill and Mark Twain (aka, Samuel Clemons) were born under double Fire Sun-Moon blends and are known to have suffered heavy depression and dark pessimism when times were tough.

So although we are facing more dark days ahead, my fervent hope this Easter Morning is that tough times will ease soon, relief will come to the afflicted, responsibilities will be faced and shouldered with courage, and we will look up with confidence in the knowledge that what's been sown by those who worship death will be exactly what they reap--for all will be made right in the end.

DNC 2020 Changes Its Cosmic Tune

As you know, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Democratic National Convention (DNC) has been postponed until August 17, 2020, still to be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, last I heard. Obviously, the change makes my previous post Moon-Tracking DNC 2020 and RNC 2020 obsolete on the Democratic side. However, the RNC (August 24) horoscope and astro-notes hold true unless Republicans change their convention schedule, too.

As it stands for now: RNC August 24, 2020: Sun and Mercury in Virgo, Moon in Scorpio; Sun Virgo-Moon Scorpio contains vibes of fanaticism, a fighting spirit, and a need to always 'get it right'.

The rescheduling of DNC 2020 to August 17 gives the Democratic Party a Leo Sun and Moon (once Luna leaves 29Cancer59 at 12:39 am CDT--and as you know, '30Cancer' is the "A Daughter of the American Revolution" degree.) Voting/nominating planet Mercury is also in shiny Leo and is no longer Stationing Direct as it was on July 13th, the original date for DNC 2020.

Now the last lunation prior to the opening of DNC 2020 on August 17th (aka, the convention's Syzygy Moon) is the Full Moon of August 3, 2020 @11AQ46. This Moon adds humanitarian vibes to the DNC 2020 picture and if the American people don't need more of that quality then I don't know what we need! Besides, Aquarius is our US natal Moon sign of We The People.

And yes, our Trump nightmare will linger long after he's gone (like a very very bad hangover) so I'm going to go ahead and type it: on November 3, 2020 - if we have an election at all - #VoteBlue no matter how you do!
