Democracy For Who? Do The Poor Have A Say? - Thom Hartmann (plus Ceres!)

Here's a June 16, 2020 clip from Thom Hartmann concerning a timely societal topic which contains within it many thorny and related issues:

In Mundane Astrology I tend to use asteroid Ceres as a marker for democracy, aka, Democracy. However, these days, America's fabled streak of Plutocracy has grown wider than ever and we find that on July 4, 1776 our Ceres Rx @8Pisces41 conjoined the 1776 natal Pluto-Chiron midpoint with the midpoint's plutocracy, exploitation, primal violence, and racism implications now coming to fruition across the land. And where is Ceres in transit as I type? At 11Pis38 which suggests that in 2020, America is actually in the midst of a three-fer Ceres Return due to the asteroid's retrogradation.

Exact dates of America's current Ceres Return/s are: May 28 (passed obviously); August 14; and December 20, 2020, the last a significant date for other reasons. Hopefully by December, solutions may be found, presented, or even implemented to address at least some of our nation's thorny issues within the realms of Ceres.

This may be possible since a Ceres Return spotlights our national Ceres concerns (in compassionate Pisces!) such as nurturing, home and family, parenting, food supplies (food chains), agricultural concerns and practices, protective instincts, and democracy with a cosmic laser beam to be dealt with in 2020 and, hopefully, to result in improvements for the population of our country which, whether Republicans and other selfish Ayn-Randers like it or not, includes the poor, elderly, ill, and weak among us. Even our Voting Rights are involved since office holders determine how We The People are treated or mistreated, how funds are allocated for the care of our people in need - and to 'promote the general welfare'. And yet as we see since 1776, the nation was set up from the start with the plutocrats in charge.

The significance of the Powell Memo (or, Manifesto) cannot be overemphasized when pondering the ongoing assault on American institutions by corporate interests, transnational and domestic. It is not the first or only assault but one of many by wealthy elitists of the anti-Constitutional kind, those opposed to democracy and who plunder resources and wage wars across the globe and at home for their own profit.

Naturally, the term 'manifesto' must conjure for us the Communist Manifesto and the anti-worker doctrine of Marxism which has been shown to have been invented in order to destroy the Middle Class--invented though plagiarized by Karl Marx who was financed by the wealthy class of his day including his wife's family, the von Westphalens of the Prussian aristocracy.

So with no precise hour known, I'm finally getting around to publishing a 'noon' horoscope for The Powell Memo:

As you see, the Memorandum occurred within a 9 New South Saros Series with its Solar Eclipse ('PE') @27Leo15 which was activated on August 21, 2017 by The Great American Eclipse whose path of visibility split our nation in half. You'll remember that this is the Total eclipse that Donald Trump looked at 6 times without safety glasses--and its degree conjoined his natal Ascendant (29Leo) and by extension, his rising Mars (26Leo). Themes of the 1971 Solar Eclipse are messily penned upon the above chart along with the themes of the August 2017 Eclipse in the 1 North series, the 'Mother of All Eclipses' of Nostradamus fame (August 11, 1999 @18Leo).

So far, the Trump regime has fulfilled 1 North's themes extremely well: 'unexpected events' and 'information is distorted and possibly false'. Plus, we should note that the August 1999 eclipse will be activated by another Solar Eclipse this very year on August 11, 2018 @18Leo41 in the 2 New North series, the eclipse I have unhappily labeled The Tower Eclipse for its 'collapsing tower' and 'rebuilding' themes (Brady). This eclipse happens to be the Prenatal Eclipse of the 2018 Midterms.

Now as you know, history is often said to rhyme (if not repeat precisely) and it seems to me that the study of eclipses, solar and lunar, is one way of revealing 'time links' between years and the historical events that were influenced by the applicable eclipse themes. This does not discount whether or not a particular eclipse is visible in a certain location where an event takes place yet the significance and symbolism of eclipse degrees are my primary focus along with the themes of the series in which an eclipse falls. Of course, visible eclipses would have stronger influence upon events as would Total eclipses but degrees are sensitized by eclipses, stars, and other factors and remain so through centuries.

As for the Powell Memo horoscope itself, its lack of timing prevents a full consideration here although there are a few chart factors I wish to point out:

First, that Neptune, planet of fraud, corruption, propaganda, disguises, get-rich-quick-schemes (with nearby Jupiter), the (corporate-controlled) media and the masses, is @1Sag, a degree with a Sabian Symbol (penned on) well known for its link to the US military--in America's case, to the military industrial complex that's bleeding America's National Treasury dry at the expense of We The People.

Then @11Leo01 there's Cupido conjunct Midheaven (at noon) with keywords: Corporations, Organizations, and The Family which includes crime families, Chambers of Commerce, political parties, and religious cults.

Pluto-Chiron at Work

Another factor is the midpoint of Pluto-Chiron, the Plutocracy pair of oppression, exploitation, primal violence, racism, and other -isms such as Capitalism, Communism, Marxism, Bolshevikism, Fascism, Socialism, and Zionism, which conjoins US natal Jupiter (5Cancer56) with its enlightening Sabian Symbol for '6 Cancer': "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests." In the Powell Memo chart this would refer to Mr. Powell and his Chamber of Commerce co-conspirators and others of the corporate persuasion--and to America's Founding (plutocratic) Fathers of 1776 and our modern-day financial fanatics who exploit others at every opportunity and have pulled a major scam with their ridiculous assertion that "corporations are people, too" (codified by Citizens United 2010). In the same vein, SCOTUS Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote an opinion about two days ago siding with employers and corporations over US workers, so there, America. Scr*w you, say corporate elitists.

And for those of us who use a late afternoon founding chart for America (July 4, 1776), its Ascendant in the range of 11-13Sag was the spot in the Zodiac where Pluto and Chiron last met in conjunction December 1999--and helped usher in the dawning of the New Millennium under the auspices of the 'Mother of All Eclipses', the 1 North @18Leo which will soon be triggered in August 2018.

And finally, let's close by noting that in 1971 the asteroid of ethics and strategy, Pallas @27Tau27 opposes 1971 Jupiter in corporate Scorpio while conjoining 1971 MIDAS (26:49) -- and greedy MIDAS happily sits upon the natal Midheaven (The Goal) of gold-lover Donald Trump (age 25 in 1971). And that's Trump's very visible MC where the nasty, malevolent star of violence, rage, and viciousness is found: Algol of Medusa's Head fame.

All logic tossed out the window, there are factions in the US determined to topple our republic and one of their tactics is to pile responsibility for current, dire financial straights onto the "backs of the poor" with President Obama at the helm and, one must assume, complicit in a radical and daft recipe for systemic collapse.

("We will bury you", pronounced Soviet leader Nikita Kruschev to America during my childhood. Thanks for that memory, Nikki. But you're just another in a long line of jackassian politicians in my book.)


Well, Ray McGovern's article Obama on the Backs of the Poor from August 3, 2011 is worth a second look if you've had a first--or is a not-to-be-missed if you did. Apparently daftness and perfidy masquerading as recklessness rules Washington Politics more than ever though I will not give passes for those who mismanage by design. To paraphrase Max Igan, US government officials and workers are in breach of contract as our employees if they don't effectively do the jobs that come with their positions.

As one-world-government types like to parrot loudly: rule of law! --which should effectively include lawmakers, their minions, staffs, operatives, and all bureaucrats.

A difference though is that the VP and President are not actually elected by the people but by the squirrelly electoral college of muckedy mucks. Perhaps one of the big 'secrets' of America's 'invisible' government from founding times is that the aristocrats won the lotto and most of the spoils which often accrued and accrue from the labor of working men and women.

My, how we haven't spiritually progressed as factions work tirelessly to make providing for the 'general welfare' a thing of the past--it's been made to seem "too expensive" to waste money on the poor and disadvantaged. Has compassion become old-fashioned in America? Then we-the-people must lift it up!

Growing up within an hour or so from the reverend's home church in Atlanta, Ga, I remember hearing his voice and words on radio, TV, and in the news. As noted in the article above, *Rev. Martin Luther King Jr in a 1950s era speech said this:

In our oft-utilized natal chart set for 5:10 pm LMT, we see the midpoint of the Secret Government pair @ 3Lib37--close enough in orb to the New Moon of September 27, 2011 @ 4Lib00 to indicate a 'new cycle of activity' beginning in relation to America's secret or invisible government plans and policies.

Of late. transit Uranus in early Aries ('Utopians' according to Ebertin) has been triggering or catalyzing the midpoint of US natal Saturn/Neptune...n Sat/Nep = tr Uranus: sudden weaknesses emerge; excitability; irritability; peculiar inclinations; upsets cause illness; inner unrest (of a people or a nation.) Of course, to reach the Sept 27 New Moon we must first enter and navigate the 3-day period of the Dark Moon when hidden things go bump in the night and society's infestations of satanic forces opportunistically act with even more impunity. Sudden emergence of financial weaknesses cannot be ruled out, as we've already seen of late. Plus, the Saturn-Neptune pair of energies also carries a 'materialism v idealism' connotation.

And though a Dark Moon phase is an excellent time to lay low or chillax, my thought is that for best results in coming days, beware too many entertaining distractions because these people play for keeps, y'all, 2012 is upon our doorsteps, and from Sept 27's New Moon into 2012/13 will mark a watershed phase for all of humanity. Messing this up is not an option, really.

On December 1999, powerful manipulator Pluto and wounded Chiron conjoined at '12Sag' ("A Flag Turned Into an Eagle That Crows" - politicians have been crowing a lot in Wisconsin of late) = US natal Ascendant. Pluto and Chiron were parallel (similar to a strong conjunction and useful for timing purposes) in mid-August 2004.

And you know how the Moon represents The People and The Public (and Publicity and the mood of the people) in a Mundane Astrology chart?

Well, here is an image of the Inauguration 2001 Horoscope, a relic of the first Oath of Office taken by usurper George W. Bush. In 8th house of Debt, Credit, Shared Resources, Big Business, Banking, Death, and Transformation (W certainly did that), you'll see the Moon snugged (too close for comfort) between...wait for it...the plutocracy duo, Pluto and Chiron.

Such were the excruciating 8 years of the SCOTUS-installed Bush-Cheney regime which had to be, among other things, one of the longest heists in history which met the cameras in 2008 when its rottenness burst open to public view and cold, lonely winds blew through our nation's near-empty Treasury Department.

And the crooks were hiding in plain sight...

Horoscope: Haymarket Riot 1886 = business v workers

Business Class v Working Class 1886: Seeds of 2011?

With its 125th anniversary just passed, the Haymarket Riot (aka, the Haymarket Massacre) of May 4, 1886 in Haymarket Square, Chicago, Illinois shows an interesting natal horoscope which heralds today's business/government v workers/labor unions stand-offs in Wisconsin and elsewhere.

Beginning as a general strike on May 1 (the 110th anniversary date of Adam Weishaupt's formation of the Bavarian Society of the Illuminati on May 1, 1776), events escalated into the Chicago rally which exploded into violence when a pipe bomb was thrown at the police as they dispersed the crowd after the last orator spoke (around 10:30 pm.) The bomb was thrown by an "unknown person" as the above linked Wiki profile states, and controversy remains as to the proceedings and capabilities.

A prime theory is that this "unknown person" was an instigator not of the working class attending the rally, but was a government, special interest, and/or rival group's operative (8th house Mars in Virgo) tasked to turn the peaceful rally into a win for the business community which was not enthused by the rally's purpose: to educate the people on the merits of instituting an 8-hour work day in the US.

Of the anarchists arrested, one was a Knight of the Knights of Labor, a rival organization of the group staging the rally, the American Federation of Labor (AFL) - although the Knights of Labor allegedly were for the 8-hour work day as well. Perhaps rivalry for members was part of a subversion tactic (the bomb) with the Knights' membership peaking in 1886 but plunging after the Haymarket Riot and subsequent trials, convictions, and executions.

Considering the Knights' Roman Catholic trappings, it's illuminating that the Sabian Symbol of the 29th crisis degree rising at 10:30 pm that night, '30Sag' = "The Pope Blessing the Faithful." For doing what, I wonder? This indicates Jupiter 26Vir32 Rx in 9th H as chart-ruler; ten seconds later, 00Cap00 arose nominating Saturn 4Can49 in 7th H of Partnerships as chart-ruler. Saturn is, of course, amidst US natal planets, Venus and Jupiter, with US n Sun nearby; outside the horoscope, I've penned in America's natal planets (highlighted in lavender.)

Jupiter's position shows that a recent transit by conjunction has occurred to US natal Neptune 22Vir25, a time of inspired ideas, actions, and enhanced imagination, yet it can ramp up fanaticism and paranoia; promotions of a cause, scandals, and bankruptcies may also be on the speculative Jupiter/Neptune menu. And this is happening near US natal Mc (00Lib53) with its outlet for the energy falling in the Career-Public Status department of the US chart.

Here are Saturn to US n Venus and US n Jupiter transits in progress. Saturn to n Venus sobers up the environment and shows how self-serving social gestures can be; creating more structure within relationships is the best way to use this energy toward greater stability and commitment (such as joining a union?)

Saturn to US n Jupiter is a time when economic growth is restricted and attitudes become more serious; for those who've gained wealth, it's time to be more philanthropic - to give back some of what has been given. (It's that time again in 2011 but over the years our legal system has successfully been eroded so that major financial titans and fraudsters are protected from facing their crimes rather than tried and convicted, and tax laws favor the rich; the current stand-offs with labor unions represent the rich class dunning the lower incomers with "austerity" measures while the wealthy themselves receive more tax breaks which only widens the income inequality gap even further. Yes, the fox has always guarded the US henhouse, but now he's foreclosed and put the chickens on the curb.

The US President at the time of the Haymarket Riot was Grover Cleveland, the only American president to serve two non-consecutive terms in the White House (March 4, 1885 and March 4, 1893, with Benjamin Harrison in between - inaugurated March 4, 1889.)

Neptune and the Moon stimulate two difficult Fixed Stars, Algol and Capulus, stars of rage and violence.

So I can't wait to hear during tonight's townhall debate which is hemming and which one is hawing the loudest. Perhaps they'll take turns.

As you know, the Bailout Bill won't fix anything for the middle class but it will continue to undermine all but the topcats.

About the only thing the Robber Baron class is missing in 2008 from their Industrial Revolution Days of yore is their fancy tophats where they can be more easily recognized.
