The Lunar and Solar Eclipses of 2019 with Themes

August 15, 2018: Now that the last eclipse of this year has perfected on August 11, 2018 as 'The Tower Eclipse' during which season the 2018 Midterms will take place, let's look ahead to a chronological list of the Solar and Lunar Eclipses of 2019 with brief details of eclipse planets' links to the natal charts of America (1776) and Donald J. Trump (1946):

1. Partial Solar Eclipse January 6, 2019 @15Cap25 in the 2 South Saros Series with a theme of: 'joining unusual groups and feeling a great deal will be gained'; 2 South's initial eclipse occurred on April 17, 991 (OS) @1Tau47, the spot in the Zodiac where transit Uranus continues to ruffle off and on. As you know, eclipses are 'wild cards of the Universe' and 'cosmic blinks' that disrupt, intervene, reveal, and/or cause a complete change of direction in similar fashion to astrological Uranus, planet of chaos and Trump's guiding planet (his 'inner voice' of 'intuition' in Mercurial Gemini). For 00Taurus is the 'trigger degree' of Adolf Hitler, his natal Sun degree (00Tau48) through which it gained a reputation for triggering violence or military action of a forceful, invading kind when activated--and transit Uranus is known for such ability although as a catalyst Uranus may act early, on time, late, or never.

So 2 South's influence begins in late December 2018 (up to two weeks before January 6) and affects the first half of 2019; this is an unpredictable period and since planet Uranus is America's 'totem planet' of rebellion and war, the Pentagon may lead our nation into what once would have been uncharacteristic actions and reactions (though some might say Not so uncharacteristic but aggressive--similar to a belligerent man with Mars rising). Plus, the association of Uranus with Aquarius and with groups and causes suggests that efforts of the current administration (if it remains in the White House into 2019 as I suppose) will result in the break-up and reordering of the Trans-Atlantic Alliance and perhaps of other traditional bonds. For as we've seen, knee-bowing Trump does just like Putin would do!

2. Total Lunar Eclipse January 21, 2019 @00Leo51 opposes US POTUS Sun (00AQ48 for Trump 2017) and as you see from its date occurs just after the 2019 Solar Return to the 2017 Inauguration horoscope (inner chart); will the eclipse bring full awareness or even a culmination of some kind related to the US presidency? The Syzygy Moon (previous lunation) of this Lunar Eclipse is the Solar Eclipse of January 6 which isn't always the case so January 2019 should be a very eventful month.

3. Total Solar Eclipse July 2, 2019 @10Can37 (between US Jupiter and Sun) in the 3 North Saros Series (the PE series of the 9/11/01 WTC attacks) with themes of 'news that transforms a situation possibly involving young people; information causes worry and obsession and large plans are formed but don't "get carried away."' Apparently, security measures, business, finances, funding, and/or currency issues are involved as perhaps secrets and scandals revealed with this eclipse almost in time to act as a national birthday present.

Annular Solar Eclipse December 26, 2019 @4Cap06 in the 3 South Saros Series and opposes US natal Venus in Cancer (2--4 Cancer) and US natal Jupiter (5--6 Cancer) continuing what is mainly 2019's Cancer-Capricorn themes across the Home and Security axis with its ambitious or depressive Moon-Saturn influences that stretch into 2020 and include the next Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto. 3 South contains potentials for 'sudden and (what could be deeply emotional) endings of relationships, possibly with young people'; Pluto @10Leo15 is strongly involved in 3 South's initial eclipse of August 13, 1208 (OS) @27Leo10 which conversely conjoins the natal Mars rising of Donald Trump--and curiously enough, we might say that Mr. Trump's natal Pluto (unaspected in his 12th house) @10Leo02 is a sort of 'Pluto Return' to the initial eclipse's Pluto of 1208.

And as previously posted, Mr. Trump is A Man "Overshadowed by Shadows" as revealed by his 12th house unaspected Pluto in ego-centered Leo.

Eclipse Themes: Brady's Predictive Astrology.

Oct 2018: Tail of the Dragon Smacks 2017 POTUS Sun!

On October 27, 2018 transit South Node ('Tail of the Dragon') 'smacks' the 2017 POTUS Sun 00AQ49:53 for just under 3 minutes from 6:50 am edt to 6:52:50 am edt. The horoscope below is set for Washington DC at the first minute of this conjunction; the transit may have no significance at all but is posted here for the sake of recording the cosmic event--and because of the tribulations of the Trump administration since he 'took office' at noon on January 20, 2017 at noon est with an isolated 10th house Sun that represents, since Inauguration Day 2017, thespian Donald Trump in the leadership role.

Obviously this particular nodal transit also occurred approximately 19 years ago while Bill Clinton was in office, his second term ending on January 20, 2001. Embroiled in legal, political, and personal battles, Mr. Clinton's White House experience resembles on a basic ethical level that of the embroiled Mr. Trump, as you know, and although SN to Sun is a cosmic event of brief duration, perhaps its Saturnian vibes of separation and lack of resonance with the public (or with the public mood or societal trends) returns in 2018 for the American people's further dealing in the inflated form of ethics-challenged Donald Trump. Both planet Saturn and the Nodes of the Moon are considered karmic (what was sown is reaped) and both play roles in the element which only Astrology can provide the seeker--timing.

Now since it's America's POTUS Sun involved ('President of the United States'), the US presidency will be 'smacked' or 'swiped' in some way along with the man playing the archetypal role in October 2018; therefore, the Presidential Oath of Office will be involved. This brings Trump's affirmation to preserve, protect, and defend the US Constitution into this Saturnian picture with its 'separation' theme. Agreement that Mr. Trump is actually doing the required job in the required way is hard to find unless you look toward the morally bankrupt GOP and their billionaire enablers who are determined to re-write the US Constitution in unrecognizable ways. Plus, Trump's mesmerized supporters, who at this typing, remain devoted to his quirky, eccentric, chaotic Uranian way of doing things, tradition be da*ned. For after all, Trump's natal 10th house Uranus in mutable Gemini (sign of duplicity, variety, tweeting, and gossip) is his guiding planet because it rises just before his Gemini Sun (aka, 'oriental').

And if we look to a South Node/Sun conjunction in general for clues to what may be involved in late October, we find circumstances, conditions, and people continuing to block and limit Trump's self-expression, leadership, and power potential. Obstacles via others litter his path of achievement to the point that aims may be denied altogether. That Trump has and does promote his own selfish aims at the expense of others--aka, exploitation--complicates the situation for SN-to-Sun is a doubly karmic event in which current actions are thwarted by pipers who rightfully demand full payment. You've probably noticed how Mr. Trump has demonstrated an alarming lack of self-discipline and an inability to control his primal urges which do not sync with Saturn's requirements which can lead to positive outcomes and best results.

And of course, astrological Saturn is the taskmaster bringing lessons of limitation, restriction, and accountability (The Establishment in the form of Mr. Mueller?!) but as we know, Mr. Trump has shown himself to be learning disabled concerning most topics, and a know-it-all to boot. In fact, he has stated that he's never asked for forgiveness because he's never sinned or made a mistake--quite an unsullied 'god' he imagines himself to be! Perhaps having royal Regulus rising along with asteroid Apollo (the 'sun god') inspires such a misconception about himself as being superior to the rest of humanity. Yet in his role of US president, and allegedly accountable to the American people and to the laws of Saturn, it may soon be time for cosmic comeuppance for such hubris as that belonging to the very flawed Donald J. Trump.

Great American Eclipses of 1878, 2017, and 2024

Eclipses affect History so as I await delivery of author and science writer David Baron's book American Eclipse: A Nation's Epic Race to Catch the Shadow of the Moon and Win the Glory of the World concerning the Solar Eclipse of July 29, 1878 @6Leo33 (conjunct US natal North Node!), I'm posting below brief astrological details on the themes of the 1878 eclipse, The Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017 @28Leo52 (conjunct the natal Ascendant of Mr. Trump--ASC = physical body--the fool who daringly removed his safety glasses to stare at it), and the next Great North American Eclipse of April 8, 2024 @19Ari24--precisely conjunct transit Chiron @19Ari24.

All three eclipses were/are Total and their themes listed below paraphrase those found in Brady's Predictive Astrology:

July 29, 1878 6 South themes: 'being forceful; taking power; huge efforts in a group activity; sudden events; manic energy'. The group of eclipse chasers, which included Thomas Edison, were determined to put fledgling America on the scientific map and their activities boosted our nation's standing in the world and romanticized US expansion into the 'Wild Wild West'. A 6 South eclipse will next manifest on October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio.

August 21, 2017 1 North themes: 'unexpected events put great pressure on relationships via issues that loom large; fatigue or health problems are attached; make no hasty decisions because information is distorted or possibly false'. (The 1 North Saros Series is 'The Mother of All Eclipses' and a repeat of the August 1999 'King of Terror' eclipse which some folks link to the predictions of Nostradamus--and of course we think of the attacks of 9/11 and the engendered fear, paranoia, hasty decisions, and the propagandized 'war on terror' that resulted.) The next eclipse in the 1 North series will perfect on September 2, 2035 @9Virgo.

April 8, 2024 8 North themes: 'flashes of genius and inventiveness; dreams and visions; insights and new-found inspiration which can temporarily pull people away from relationships and cause strain in their private lives'. The next 8 North after 2024? Not until April 20, 2042 @00Taurus, a degree where 'wild card' planet Uranus hangs around these days.

Of course, all that being said on August 7, 2018, we must first deal with events over the next few months or more brought to us by a Universal 'wild card' via The Tower Solar Eclipse which soon perfects on August 11, 2018 @18Leo41 with its 'collapse of plans or lifestyles' and 'rebuilding after the dust settles' theme which may very well relate to tower-builder Donald Trump, Trump Jr, and/or other of Trump's cronies and enablers, both foreign and domestic.

Natal Horoscopes of Capone-Manafort-Trump

August 2, 2018: Now that the tweeter-in-chief has compared his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort with Chicago gangster and tax-dodger Al Capone you know a comparison between their natal horoscopes had to occur. Below is a bi-wheel with Capone's C-rated natal chart in the center and Paul Manafort's 'noon' chart, outer. Penciled around the charts are some interesting links between Al Capone's planets and those of Donald Trump. As you see, Mr. Trump's Sun-NN-Uranus trio opposite his natal Moon-SN is prominently showcased on Capone's natal MC-IC axis:

The more stand-out links are Manafort's natal Jupiter conjunct Capone's Sun (28Capricorn--conjunct US natal Pluto), Manafort's natal Chiron 8Sag58 Rx (the wound and blind spot) conjunct Capone's natal Chiron 9Sag34, Capone's natal Jupiter 8Sco06 conjunct Manafort's Prenatal Solar Eclipse degree (4 South themes = 'strong emotions about money and/or relationships; a sense of fated events; frustrating blocks; sudden desire to end a relationship'). I won't mention Capone's Mars 29Can16 (Rx, OOBs, and at critical degree) conjunct Manafort's Ascendant since Manafort's chart is speculatively set for 'noon'. But we need no accurate birth time for Mr. Manafort to see Al Capone's Sun shining upon the natal Jupiter of extravagant spender and tax-dodger Paul Manafort during his current trial, thanks to the tweet-in-chief's (helpful?) efforts.

Plus, you see that Manafort's natal Saturn 00Vir04 Rx conjoins royal star Regulus (success if revenge is avoided)--and conjoins Trump's natal Ascendant and, by extension, his rising Mars in Leo. This link suggests that Manafort will 'stick' (Saturn) with Trump (ASC) and not turn state's evidence, even if convicted, but we'll see since 69-year-old Manafort's prospect of dying in prison may be a prison cell too far.

Also note that Al Capone's Syzygy Moon is his Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') 21Cap33 in the violent 9 New North Saros Series (conjunct Trump's natal Vertex!) and is the same series as that of Alexander Hamilton's PE, as already discussed.

August 2018: Minor Progressed Midpoints of Mr Trump

So much has been written and prognosticated about the deteriorating mental health of Donald Trump that a peek at his Minor Progressions seemed like an interesting idea. Yes, I've progressed his natal chart in this way before but today I'm progressing it to the date of The Tower Solar Eclipse @18Leo41 which promises collapse and rebuilding of some sort and perfects within Trump's natal 12th house of Politics, Karma, and Self-Undoing--and because the Trump name is closely associated with the towers he builds and those he longs to build.

With Minor Progressions on a particular date describing what's happening on the mental plane (via the 27:13:1 ratio = we think 27 times faster than we act, and have a feeling about a thought 13 times faster than we act on it ...Tertiary Progressions/emotional plane...and '1' being our Secondary Progressions or the physical plane), Trump's Minor Progressions on August 11, 2018 may be of interest. August 2018 Eclipse Spotlights The Unmasking!

Did the Helsinki 'Summit' Get Most People's Attention Finally?

This may be significant: assuming that we can depend on Sabian Symbols to have meaning in and for the Collective, the difficult August 11, 2018 Solar Eclipse @19Leo opposes by degree and sign (Leo-AQ) what at the time I was prone to calling, The Unmasking Eclipse because it manifested in the 10 North series on February 7, 2008 @18AQ, the "A Man Unmasked" degree.

Naturally, the year '2008' is well known for America's world-shaking financial collapse and subsequent heist but that's not the topic of this post. The symbol for '18 Aquarius' as described by Dane Rudhyar and Marc Edmund Jones is the topic for its themes resemble current events and are being triggered via opposition from the August 2018 eclipse @19Leo. In a comparison of the two eclipse charts there are many more planetary and cyclic factors involved, of course, but here's the gist of '18AQ" in relation to Donald Trump being unmasked as the __, a __, or the __ (fill in the blank) we didn't want in the White House even as Mr. Putin is now unmasked as Trump's handler, or, as some would reluctantly say, his boss:

Rudhyar: '18AQ' = "A Man's Secret Motives Are Being Publicly Unmasked"...

"Keynote: The difficulty for the modern individual to keep secret his private past or his deeper motives." This symbol may also "refer to the publicizing of past behavior" and it mentions "innumerable governmental agencies " that are "nearly always able to find access to remains or records of past actions..." Sounds like serenades by old-baggage-handling Trump, KGB-er Putin, and embarrassing Kremlin intel with shades of Michael Cohen's years' worth of records haunting around the edges. And toss in the 'Trump tariffs and trade wars' that, eyed clearly, seem to be intended for the purposes of losing American jobs and crashing the US economy, a further weakening of our nation at Putin's direction--in retaliation for the Fall of the Soviet Union (1991--over-confidently billed as the "End of Communism").

Jones: '18AQ' = "A Man Unmasked"...

This symbol "demands that each person make a public accounting of himself whenever the general welfare requires it. Life becomes a laboratory for an immortal curiosity. Keyword: ANALYSIS." Positive expression: "a considered self-dedication to greater and more wonderful reasons for being"; negative/unconscious/shadow side: "self-betrayal through exceptional ineptitude." (My italics and bolds.)

Public accounting? Long overdue, including Trump's tax returns, but perhaps Mr. Mueller can help us with that. General welfare? Naturally, We The People value it but a mask-free Trump now informs us that he prefers Russia over America, so if confronted he'll probably pretend not to have heard of the concept nor will he respond to the shouted question!

Curiously, the nation's Sun @20Can58 (8th house) was precisely eclipsed on July 12, 2018 (20Can41) while Trump was overseas readying to rendezvous with Putin in Helsinki--and this July eclipse fell into Trump's Prenatal Eclipse Series, the 2 Old North, with themes of 'unfortunate news, separations, or endings', and 'quick action can bring good results'. The upcoming August 2018 Solar Eclipse ('The Tower') @19Leo in the 2 New North Series perfects upon Montenegro's 9th house Mars-Uranus midpoint with Sun-ruled Leo intercepted (Solar Fire v9; Tropical; Placidus System).

Winter Solstice 2012, a haunting YOD, and Saturn-Pluto

Winter Solstice 2012, a YOD Pattern, and Fated Encounters at Vertex for Mr. Trump

The well-publicized cosmic event of Winter Solstice 2012 presented us with a horoscope that cannot be forgotten for its configurations but also because the date times the ends of, or shifts in, various calendars and is said to symbolically spotlight a turning point for humanity. With its potentials of a 'turning point' or 'crossroads', the starkest figure within the 2012 chart is a YOD pattern with a Saturn-Pluto sextile at its base pointing like a 'Finger of God' toward Jupiter Rx @8Gem54 in 6th house (chart set for the White House Washington DC). And it's 8-8-8 degrees all around for this heavy weight trio of planets whose influences naturally continued into 2013 and beyond. Mr. Barack Obama was playing the presidential role then as you'll remember and, in the exalted realms of archetypes, representing many-armed Siva (Shiva), god of creation and destruction. Chilling. And for some crazy reason its statue is displayed near the Hadron Collider, a dangerous machine if there ever was one.

Yet after enduring almost two years of a Trump White House, Mr. Obama is being praised even by some conservatives like Max Boot who writes the He Would Take Obama Back in a Nanosecond. Well, I'd be there with ya, Mr. Boot, to welcome him back to the White House ('the people's house' and not Putin's playground!)

And perhaps it isn't significant but the Winter Solstice 2012 YOD pattern with the Saturn-Pluto sextile at its base points to 2012 Jupiter, as noted, but also to the Prenatal Solar Eclipse degree of Donald Trump in the 2 Old North series which just repeated @20Cancer41--onJuly 12 while he was overseas wilting next to Putin! 'Unfortunate news' is one of the potentials of a 2 Old North eclipse and there was certainly a huge amount of it attached to Trump's 'summit' with Vladimir Putin, especially upon Trump's return to US shores, and the criticism reverberates as I type 5 days later (hence Max Boot's op-ed linked above!)

Of course, Trump's PE of 1946 @9Gemini conjoins America's natal Uranus (8Gem55) so we can substitute Uranus for 2012 Jupiter in the formula and we have potentials for: Saturn-Pluto = US n Uranus: sudden changes or upsets in plans that concern important activities; reforms in the way punishment is given for important crimes; the erratic or uneven use of retaliatory measures (M. Munkasey). Noel Tyl adds some disturbing possibilities that deserve their own paragraph:

2012 Saturn-Pluto = 2012 Jupiter: trouble with authority; adoption of the austere; staying out of trouble; trying to save what's left. And with US Uranus: ~brutal efforts to start a new order~; an attack, regardless of potential losses. Of course, it took 'brutal efforts' back in Revolutionary days to establish our nation but that's actually the trouble--too many 'bosses in their own minds' think it's time for the 'new order' of 1776 to give way to a newer order which, they think, must be preceded by chaos--and they have Donald Trump as chaos agent for that. This Trumpian chaos creation reminds me too well of the themes of The Tower Solar Eclipse of August 11, 2018 upcoming--and he's known for his love of tower-building and for plastering his name all over them, the better to fall.

Saturn (government, law, business, limits) and Pluto (control, manipulation, transformation)

Now it's true that the Saturn-Pluto pairing is problematic for its cruelty, brutality, rage, fury of destruction, and a potential for hardship which sounds rather like Siva in destruction mode with the creative mode in regression. And most readers of my astro-blabs are well aware that the Saturn-Pluto cycle of about 33 years' duration begins anew on January 12, 2020 when the old man and the saboteur precisely conjoin one time only @22Cap43--conjunct the natal Vertex (Point of Fated Encounter) of Donald Trump (22:46)! Of course, both planets link to the devil and Hades but that's a post of a different hue.

Whether Trump meets with Saturn and Pluto or he forces their combined energies onto others is unknown to yours truly since Astrology's AC-DC currents can direct in either direction depending, or can denote alternating energies. But I do know that it should be one but may turn out to be the other. Fate is fickle that way yet karma always rolls around, no matter the level of a person's wealth and privilege. Is Mr. Trump destined (Vertex) to encounter Saturn-Pluto's strength and harshness or rule with it? Already the Cager of Children has shown signs of harshness and cruelty which would be most unfortunate for the entire world. And as you know, Trump admires aloud such harsh traits in other despots and longs for their type of 'independence' to act. Well, a Saturn-Pluto sextile suggests control issues on its own, and involves power and the withholding of information in order to retain it. Sounds rather like Putin holding something over Trump's head, doesn't it? Perhaps hotel tapes, money laundering crimes, or whatever? Even worse may be imagined since we don't actually know!

Then to the Saturn-Pluto conjunction we should add Nicholas de Vore's symbol for the degree of '23 Capricorn' (rounded up) where they meet on January 12, 2020 and we have an appropriate symbol of "governmental authority" which makes me wonder if Donald Trump will wield it--or by then will governmental authority finally catch up with his wayward ways and snatch him sideways?

To me it seems more a case that the American people should be worried with little respite proffered between now and then as 'the old order' collapses into 'the new'. With Leo rising, Chart-ruler Sun makes only one applying Ptolemaic aspect in the chart, a trine to Neptune (18Pis20 Rx) which benefits covert activities (exs: sabotage; foreign agents infiltrating; spies that harm national security, cyber warfare) and implies the smooth proceeding of confidential matters, plus, a certain sense of glamour (Neptune) is cast upon leadership (Sun) with a bunch of Neptunian propaganda and lies to go with it.

Highlighted in orange is the Election's Prenatal Solar Eclipse (11th house) which perfects at Summer Solstice 2020 @00Can21 in the 4 North Saros Series of illusions, restraints (on voters?), misjudgments (of voters?), and separations. (This eclipse hints at a major post coming asap!) The election's Syzygy Moon (last lunation prior to Nov 3, 2020) is a Full Moon and is entered in 9th house @8Tau38--conjunct radical Uranus Rx at the Halloween Full Moon! Of course, Full and New Moons can act at times as if they are eclipses in a disruptive Uranian fashion, revealing secrets left and right (Full Moons: lunar eclipses, New Moons: solar eclipses) so we'll probably have some interesting tidbits, secrets, news, and gossip surface pre-Election under its rays of awareness and culmination--finances and investment are involved most likely with a Taurus Full Moon though issues concerning the environment, agriculture, and project development can be expected.

As for the Election Day 2020 chart we find 'voting' Mercury strong at Direct Station @25Libra55 in 3rd house (25Libra = cusp of the 17th Lunar Mansion, a critical degree). So it appears that by Election Day 2020, reassessing the then-current crop of politicians (such as they are!) has been completed and votes have been cast (assuming a sure-to-be-rigged election is held at all).

So who do the planets in this Election Day 2020 horoscope favor?

July - August 2018 Eclipses: Karma and a Slideshow!

July and August 2018 Karma Returns: first on July 12th a Solar Eclipse perfects @20Can41 in the same Prenatal Eclipse (PE) Saros Series (2 Old North) as that of Donald Trump - everyone feels it - these are critical times. Fixed star Castor is eclipsed which activates the star's potential expressions depending upon conditions and the individual's planets and motives.

Then it's a secrets-revealing Lunar Eclipse @4AQ44 conjunct US natal South Node--more karma for the reaping as scandals continue surprising.

Finally, August arrives with The Tower Solar Eclipse @19Leo in the 2 New North series which happens to be the Prenatal Eclipse of the 2018 Midterms. The US Election System collapsing? Voter suppression and other fraudulent schemes and foreign hacking negate election results? A financial crash? Trump's political/financial House of Cards falls into rubble and dust? None of the above? One clue: the last manifestation of 2 New North occurred on July 31, 2000 @8Leo so we'll see if New Millennium issues surface again from that era with new solutions possible. Consulting The Tarot over Mr Trump and Mr Mueller

July 1, 2018: This morning I've been catching up on a variety of Tarot readings concerning outcomes for Donald Trump, Robert Mueller, and others in the news and it's been very interesting. However, I don't know enough about current Tarot readers to recommend one in particular to you but I do recommend astrologer Maxine Taylor's July 2018 Trumpology Report.

And as a former Tarot card reader myself, I took the liberty of asking a couple of questions on the topic of Trump and the Mueller investigation using my favored deck, Zerner-Farber's The Enchanted Tarot. I prefer the deck's psychological insights but when it comes to card images in the public domain, the Rider-Waite Tarot deck is what I found available so those are the cards you'll see, below.

Deciding to make my queries simple with a 3-card draw (past-present-future, plus a Wild Card for, Is there more info to be known at this time?), I proceeded using my limited skill as a Tarot reader with Question One: Is Donald Trump in danger? Here are the Answers:

Past = Ace of Wands--Initiation. Obviously this may refer to Inauguration 2017 when Trump took the Oath of Office to defend and protect the US Constitution or perhaps it reveals his membership in a group or a secret society or societies with a mission not publicly known. This card indicates the use of his instincts, which he says he does, and that he's been feeling his power and initiating new projects.

Present = 10 of Swords--Ruin. This card shows that Trump is very afraid that things won't work out for him--he may be in deep despair and feeling grief--or feeling aggrieved since he tends to see himself as a 'victim' when he thinks such a ploy will pay off. (At other times he's a huge 'winner' don't forget!) Basically, this card says that events are out of his control which unbalances him since he's accustomed to 'calling the shots' in his corporate world and he assumed that the presidency would give him total control over every situation and every person. Yet his usual manipulative tactics haven't worked as well with Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the Department of Justice--not so far anyway, even with transparent help from complicit congressional Republicans, sneaky political operatives, and on-air pundits. Understandably, ruin is what he most fears and with his own Prenatal Solar Eclipse repeating on July 12, 2018, unfortunate news, damning information, and/or more scandal may be leaked or revealed, and testimony may also be given...inconveniently for Mr. Trump who seems to drag along an environment of lies and delusions wherever he goes. Still, taking quick action can mitigate any negative results from this eclipse (Brady).

That 2 Old North (which heralded his birth in 1946 @9Gemini) perfects at this time in Moon-ruled Cancer (20:41) will tend to involve Trump family members and/or will concern something about his use of tribalism in Politics; that it conjoins Castor, one of the Gemini Twins, increases a sense of karma or fate attached to the eclipse and current events for even Mr. Trump must eventually reap what he has sown.

Future = 2 of Pentacles--Change. This card reminds us that all on Earth is temporary, maturity is needed for wise guidance, and that change is inevitable--plus, what goes up must come down. Change implies the disruptive Uranian nature of things and Mr. Trump is nothing if not Uranian for natal Uranus in Gemini is his guiding planet (or, oriental = last to rise before his Gemini Sun). And mutable Gemini loves change--and Uranian chaos can be useful, as Trumps knows. Perhaps the question is not whether change is or isn't on the way for Donald Trump but how suddenly and disruptively will it occur?

Trump's Wild Card = 3 of Pentacles--Work. This card suggests that an old friend or a co-worker will share in Trump's burdens or aid him in some way. It's a card of obstacles ahead and reveals that prejudices may hinder Trump's best results. Whether the 'sharing of burdens' includes a negative legal decision against Trump and others is not fully revealed to this Tarot reader though perhaps such a question may be asked as the investigation trundles on.

Now here is my second question for which I drew all Major Arcana cards: Is Robert Mueller in danger? Using the same card spread, here are the cards and Answers:

Past = 20 Judgement. The card of Judgement has obvious connections to Special Counsel Mueller and the Department of Justice and indicates that positive moves have been made and real advancement is possible via deliberate efforts because the time for change has come. That Russia made overtures and other intrusions upon Campaign 2016 and that Trump has had financial and other ties to foreign countries such as Russia doesn't seem to be in dispute. Yet the American people must depend on the Mueller investigation to hopefully 'lay all the cards on the table' concerning Mr. Trump and his 'red' ties, if there be any.

Present = 18 The Moon. Although the path ahead looks mighty treacherous (and it is--look who Mr. Mueller is dealing with--domestic and international criminal syndicates) there are hidden opportunities along the way--and information yet to be publicly disclosed. This card shows that this is "the darkness before the dawn" but there remain challenges ahead. In The Enchanted Tarot the card relates to 'the Moon Witch' which amuses me due to Trump's multitude of whines that the investigation is merely a "witch hunt"--and this card says that the Moon Witch is crying and in despair because (she) has "so wrongly been thought to be a malicious Moon Witch" something that could refer to either Trump or Mueller (though I doubt Mr. Mueller is crying!) Even so, 'witches' have been indicted and this card shows that a protective light surrounds the path and leads the way ahead--although one concern I have is for Mr. Mueller's family and the possibility that intimidation and threat could be used in order to change Mueller's behavior in these matters. Beware Treachery!

Future = 5 The Hierophant. Here is the card of "The Father Confessor"! Reliable and faithful to his values, he acts to preserve traditions, codified laws, and the moral standards of our predecessors--all the things under assault by Trump and his co-conspirators. If you believe The Hierophant describes Robert Mueller, then we're on the same page!

Mueller's Wild Card = 6 The Lovers. This card suggests two allurements, two choices that must be made between vice and virtue. Dissatisfaction in relationship may be a factor here which could involve a choice within a work relationship or a personal one--probably a personal one though another separation from the Mueller Team is a potential. However, drawing this card only increases my feeling that intimidation or a threat may be made toward Mr. Mueller's loved ones although of course I hope I'm wrong. Does danger to a partner or some kind of separation or scandal lie ahead? If so, it seems doubtful to me that Mr. Mueller as Hierophant will be averted from his moonlit path for his strong sense of duty calls him on. Yet who could deny that Trump and his backers will try anything to save The Don's hide?

'Cosmic Blink' Eclipses Are The 'Wild Cards of the Universe'

Yet events can spiral out of Trump's control more disastrously quite soon for the Cosmos has something revealing up its sleeve with August's The Tower Solar Eclipse! Yes, it's a one-two cosmic punch for Mr. Trump--the July 12th Solar Eclipse linked above (under 'Ruin')--so personal to him because it repeats in his own Saros Series, plus, the 'collapse of structures and lifestyles' suggested by The Tower Eclipse of August 11, 2018--in proud, boastful Leo. And as you know, Tarot card 16 The Tower provides a suitable image depicting such an event which relates personally to tower-builder Trump whose political 'house of cards' may soon be turned to dust and rubble though, if so, no glee will be felt by yours truly since our nation must rise or fall along with the current pilot of our Blimp of State for he and we must reap what's been sown:

Will Trump Tariffs Tank Our Blimp of State? Ask Putin

July 10, 2018: The US Economy and a Timely Cosmic Alert via Jupiter in Scorpio

As previously discussed, and with a tri-wheel of return horoscopes shown, Ronald Reagan is in process of posthumously enjoying another Jupiter Return, part of what everyone born on Earth enjoys--the Jupiter Reward Cycle which occurs approximately every 11.6 years. With his natal Jupiter in Big Money Scorpio (@13:44), Mr. Reagan in his day was intensely interested in gaining control, garnering money, and hitting the jackpot as he declared upon signing the Garn-St. Germain Depository Institutions Act of 1982 which economist Paul Krugman, in his NYT op-ed of May 31, 2009, himself declared, "--turned the modest-sized troubles of savings-and-loan institutions into an utter catastrophe." And the tremendously lucrative Reagan "jackpot" paid off years later as the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. You remember how Wall Street was bailed out by taxpayers--but not Main Street where the 99% stroll...and show up for work.

So here's a re-publish of the tri-wheel of Reagan's current yet posthumous Jupiter Return/s in case you don't care to follow the link provided above or read details:

So in 2018 we have 'Republican' Donald Trump shakily steering the Blimp of State and the Trump Tariffs are promising and/or actually triggering bilious reflux in markets, on Capitol Hill, and locally as US workers and their families are already 'paying the price' for Trump's grandstanding over this particular campaign promise which drags job losses and trade wars in its wake. Some of our national politicians are dreading 2018 Midterms with the Republican Party hijacked as the 'Trump Party' and we know it's all or nothing with cultish Donald who refuses to take prisoners.

And yet today, as HuffPost reports, a Progressive Democrat Bails Out Trump on Tariffs--that's Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown. He has his reasons--or thinks he does, and good as they may be, this fail makes the US Senate look more toothless against Trump than before.

Now a reason to bring up all this now, besides the fact that we're mired within Reagan's current three-fer Jupiter Return/s (perfecting on December 14, 2017, June 24, 2018 Rx (just past), and next on July 26, 2018, as you see in the horoscopes above) is that transit Jupiter Stations and turns Direct on July 10, 2018--@13Sco20. Basically, this Station conjoins (and strengthens) Reagan's natal Jupiter degree and, consulting our Great Cosmic Clock, we find that the 2018 Jupiter Station occurs between Reagan's second and third exact Return upon his natal Jupiter.

It's as if The Gipper's (greedy) Jupiter has come again under tutelage of (gilted) Donald Trump. As if US workers needed that or will be supported by it. As if.

Yet the degree's symbol should also be considered here and I suspect that anyone reading this post has access to at least one version of the Sabian Symbols but fewer may have a copy of The 360 Degrees of the Zodiac by Adriano Carelli. And it just so happens that Carelli gives a curious symbol (word picture) for '13Scorpio' (he champions the actual degree, not the rounded-up degree). Which is:

"A lonely stronghold on a high mountain top, a veritable eagle's nest. The place is fortified by nature itself rather than by man's hand. It is the key-point of the region, and its possession grants sway over the neighboring states."

This symbol describes one who has been earmarked by fate "to occupy an eminent, independent position and to hold sway over others, owing to his inborn inexhaustible force. To obey him is a matter of course, nearly of necessity.

An untiring, hard worker, he is fully confident in himself, and his firmness of purpose borders on stubbornness. Laconic, or even silent, he can scan and pierce everything around himself at a glance without betraying any of his feelings. Close but long-sighted, strong but on his defensive, cunning yet intelligent, he has fortune on his side and all the good and evil needed to assert oneself and achieve success, his main asset being an iron will, unshakeable and undaunted; his main defect, a selfish, despotic, scheming ambition.

Carelli then cites '13Scorpio' as the degree of Napoleon Bonaparte's Ascendant although either one of us may be able to think of one or more modern day despots which this symbol could also describe, if not the seemingly mild Mr. Reagan. So is the 'stronghold' Washington DC? Perhaps, but first I must wonder--exactly where in Helsinki, Finland will Trump and Putin rendezvous on July 16, 2018? Perhaps in a naturally fortified strong-hold, secluded on a mountain top? Wouldn't that be so-o-o romantic!

In closing, here's an excerpt from a December 2, 2017 post published to 'honor' the passage of the Republican Tax Cut Bill, the massive give-away to Corporate America--yet another "jackpot" for the wealthy stolen at our expense:

The first of three conjunctions of transit Jupiter to Reagan's natal Jupiter position occurs December 14, 2017 with its 'tax cuts for corporations stimulates job growth' fallacy now being re-used by Capitol Hill Republicans in spite of the fact that corporate tax cuts do not inspire corporations to re-invest in US workers and the economy. Since the Prenatal Solar Eclipse (PE) of Donald Trump (born June 14, 1946) in the 2 Old North Saros Series occurred on May 30, 1946 @9Gemini (conjunct US natal Uranus--descriptive of Mr. Chaos), 2 Old North has repeated in the years 1964, 1982, and on July 1, 2000 @10Cancer among the US natal planets in Cancer (Venus, Jupiter, Sun). An eclipse in this series will manifest again on July 12, 2018 @20Can41, a critical or sensitive degree in the Zodiac. However, this post partially concerns an earlier manifestation of a 2 Old North eclipse--the one that perfected on May 19, 1928 @28Taurus among the stars of The Pleiades a constellation which also happen to contain the natal Midheaven of Mr. Trump (25Taurus) conjunct the nasty star of rage, fury, and violence Algol of Medusa's Head fame.

Now as we've discussed previously, 2 Old North themes are difficult and include 'separation, the ending of unions' (or alliances, one imagines), and 'unfortunate news regarding personal relationships although quick action can bring positive results' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). So Donald Trump has that goin' for him from late June into July and beyond.

But then, it so happens that another cosmic blink manifests on August 11, 2018 @18Leo41 as The Tower Eclipse with its theme of 'collapse of lifestyles or plans' and the necessary 'rebuilding' which must follow once the 'dust settles' (Brady). This is the 2 New North series repeating from its manifestation of June 17, 1928 @26Gemini--the initial--the very first eclipse in the 2 New North series. On the level of current physical events, we already know that The Tower Eclipse is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of the 2018 Midterms and we may expect (if 'wild card' eclipses ever bring expectable results!) that any or all election losers will feel its collapse theme in similar fashion to drawing Tarot card #16.

And is it cosmic synchronicity that in 1928 Ireland's William Butler Yeats's The Tower collection of poems was published?!

Some Things We Know We Know

Now since we know that history rhymes (rather than precisely repeating) we may wish to consider historical events of 1928 especially given what's been going on in the US this year with the kidnapping and caging of children at the border by the Trump regime, a self-created fiasco that threatens to continue into 2019 and probably beyond for Trump slightly changed his tune and now intends to imprison and criminalize entire families. Yes, the arrival of waves of refugees is a crisis for any country, I agree, but Trump's ways are not my ways--and his are not traditionally those of our nation toward asylum seekers and small children. His harsh actions demonstrate the ways of a man without a conscience and having not a speck of empathy toward humanity.

Furthermore, Trump and his handmaidens are said to have no plan to ever reunite the children they separated from their grieving parents since April and, in fact, are attempting to blame anyone but themselves for their cruel decisions and craven actions. My first thoughts upon hearing of this nightmare is that it shows what lengths a man like Trump will sink to in order to score political points and grasp the money to build 'the wall' he demands--and I can't help but wonder if the kidnapped children will be auctioned off at some point to the highest bidder. Well, obviously, this idea shows how little yours truly thinks of Trump and his ilk who pretend to be better than they actually are.

Other things we know include the fact that eclipses influence history by working through individuals whose natal charts are activated by said eclipse, and the repetition of one's Prenatal Eclipse can certainly suggest a person who becomes a participant in historical events of the day especially if other conditions are ripe--such as a man playing the role of the so-called 'leader of the free world' which does not include migrant children and their parents in lock-down whether they are asylum seekers in the US or not. Such is Donald Trump with his 2 Old North PE repeating on July 12th though its influence can begin any day now--and it brings the influence of one of the dark vs light Gemini Twins along--Castor with its themes and potentials for mental illness, crippling of limbs, sudden fame or loss, and/or murder (Horary Astrology Plain and Simple, A. Louis). An eclipse perfecting upon a fixed star is a strong indicator of events manifesting in the wider world.

As for history 2018, those who are curious may wish to follow a link to a brief World History Timeline 1928--1929 for clues or comparisons of events which may rhyme once again during Summer 2018 and into 2019. Or perhaps echo is the better word for as a certain child thief psycho of earlier decades asserted, “The weak must be chiseled away. I want young men and women who can suffer pain. Astro-Notes: The Powell Memo and Corporations as 'People' Like Donald Trump

The significance of the Powell Memo (or, Manifesto) cannot be overemphasized when pondering the ongoing assault on American institutions by corporate interests, transnational and domestic. It is not the first or only assault but one of many by wealthy elitists of the anti-Constitutional kind, those opposed to democracy and who plunder resources and wage wars across the globe and at home for their own profit.

Naturally, the term 'manifesto' must conjure for us the Communist Manifesto and the anti-worker doctrine of Marxism which has been shown to have been invented in order to destroy the Middle Class--invented though plagiarized by Karl Marx who was financed by the wealthy class of his day including his wife's family, the von Westphalens of the Prussian aristocracy.

So with no precise hour known, I'm finally getting around to publishing a 'noon' horoscope for The Powell Memo:

As you see, the Memorandum occurred within a 9 New South Saros Series with its Solar Eclipse ('PE') @27Leo15 which was activated on August 21, 2017 by The Great American Eclipse whose path of visibility split our nation in half. You'll remember that this is the Total eclipse that Donald Trump looked at 6 times without safety glasses--and its degree conjoined his natal Ascendant (29Leo) and by extension, his rising Mars (26Leo). Themes of the 1971 Solar Eclipse are messily penned upon the above chart along with the themes of the August 2017 Eclipse in the 1 North series, the 'Mother of All Eclipses' of Nostradamus fame (August 11, 1999 @18Leo).

So far, the Trump regime has fulfilled 1 North's themes extremely well: 'unexpected events' and 'information is distorted and possibly false'. Plus, we should note that the August 1999 eclipse will be activated by another Solar Eclipse this very year on August 11, 2018 @18Leo41 in the 2 New North series, the eclipse I have unhappily labeled The Tower Eclipse for its 'collapsing tower' and 'rebuilding' themes (Brady). This eclipse happens to be the Prenatal Eclipse of the 2018 Midterms.

Now as you know, history is often said to rhyme (if not repeat precisely) and it seems to me that the study of eclipses, solar and lunar, is one way of revealing 'time links' between years and the historical events that were influenced by the applicable eclipse themes. This does not discount whether or not a particular eclipse is visible in a certain location where an event takes place yet the significance and symbolism of eclipse degrees are my primary focus along with the themes of the series in which an eclipse falls. Of course, visible eclipses would have stronger influence upon events as would Total eclipses but degrees are sensitized by eclipses, stars, and other factors and remain so through centuries.

As for the Powell Memo horoscope itself, its lack of timing prevents a full consideration here although there are a few chart factors I wish to point out:

First, that Neptune, planet of fraud, corruption, propaganda, disguises, get-rich-quick-schemes (with nearby Jupiter), the (corporate-controlled) media and the masses, is @1Sag, a degree with a Sabian Symbol (penned on) well known for its link to the US military--in America's case, to the military industrial complex that's bleeding America's National Treasury dry at the expense of We The People.

Then @11Leo01 there's Cupido conjunct Midheaven (at noon) with keywords: Corporations, Organizations, and The Family which includes crime families, Chambers of Commerce, political parties, and religious cults.

Pluto-Chiron at Work

Another factor is the midpoint of Pluto-Chiron, the Plutocracy pair of oppression, exploitation, primal violence, racism, and other -isms such as Capitalism, Communism, Marxism, Bolshevikism, Fascism, Socialism, and Zionism, which conjoins US natal Jupiter (5Cancer56) with its enlightening Sabian Symbol for '6 Cancer': "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests." In the Powell Memo chart this would refer to Mr. Powell and his Chamber of Commerce co-conspirators and others of the corporate persuasion--and to America's Founding (plutocratic) Fathers of 1776 and our modern-day financial fanatics who exploit others at every opportunity and have pulled a major scam with their ridiculous assertion that "corporations are people, too" (codified by Citizens United 2010). In the same vein, SCOTUS Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote an opinion about two days ago siding with employers and corporations over US workers, so there, America. Scr*w you, say corporate elitists.

And for those of us who use a late afternoon founding chart for America (July 4, 1776), its Ascendant in the range of 11-13Sag was the spot in the Zodiac where Pluto and Chiron last met in conjunction December 1999--and helped usher in the dawning of the New Millennium under the auspices of the 'Mother of All Eclipses', the 1 North @18Leo which will soon be triggered in August 2018.

As you may remember, year 2018 opened its cosmic curtains with a New Moon @26Capricorn54 which perfected very near US natal Pluto (27:33) and echoed RNC 2016 when disruptive Uranian Donald Trump was nominated for the US presidency. A cadent Winter Solstice Sun @00Cap00:00 is in 6th house of Military-Police-Civil-Service (and Health) as are Mercury and Jupiter--conjunct upon malevolent, headstrong, royal star and Watcher of the West, Antares, a red star of war and/or violence. Meanwhile, the Tail of the Dragon (South Node) @26Cap55 is in process of swiping US natal Pluto Rx as it nears Donald Trump's natal Vertex (VX, a point of fated encounter; his @22Cap51) and if you look, bottom right, I've penned a note--that the January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto conjunction will 'hit' the natal VX of Mr. Trump. Basically, the Winter Solstice 2018 Nodal axis spotlights America's natal Mercury-Pluto opposition of propaganda, intelligence gathering, political talk of reforms, secrets, orbital weaponry, space exploration, toxins, and self-destructive impulses in business (Munkasey).

As for current nuclear issues, destructive, transforming Pluto (planet of plutonium), is at a critical degree (20Capricorn), power asteroid Toro, often active in nuclear or atomic charts, conjoins South Node, a Saturnian point of separation, and creator-destroyer Siva sits upon the 8th cusp conjunct US natal Pluto. And of course, as noted, there's Trump's natal Vertex in the midst of them all.

Of course, many other chart factors are worth noting for those who dare but I must leave them to you now as the Gemini Moon in 12th house hides away while activating Trump's natal Uranus (his 'guiding planet' in his 10th house of Career and Public Status) and note that the Moon-Uranus combination of energies in Political Astrology indicates excited people, and--an emotionally immature leader who rules by whim.

Robert Mueller appointed May 17, 2017 - w 2018 Eclipse

Tomorrow, Thursday May 17, 2018, is the first anniversary/Solar Return of the appointment of Robert Mueller III as Special Counsel to investigate Donald Trump, the Trump campaign, his associates, and their ties or conspiracies, if any, to or with Russia and Vladimir Putin. On Thursday, the Sun will precisely return to its 2017 degree at 5:44 pm edt (based on its 2017 degree at noon edt). In the Solar Return 2018 chart (not shown), Midheaven @2Leo27 sports the 2017 position of asteroid Atlantis @2Leo01 (abuse or misuse of power; divine retribution; feelings of doom). Obviously, the themes of astrological Atlantis are very much a part of the Mueller investigation into the affairs of Donald Trump and we may also wish to note that in 2017, Nemesis, the unbeatable foe, opposed Atlantis.

And here's a cosmic curiosity: 2Leo+ also happens to be the position of personal name asteroid 'Mueller' on the day of Robert Mueller was born! (you can't make this stuff up).

On May 17, 2017 (Washington DC), the Sun @26Tau55 conjoined the nastiest star in the heavens, Algol, of Medusa-Head fame, the occupant of Mr. Trump's natal Midheaven. Regretfully for Mr. Trump and for the country he now haphazardly leads, enraged Algol at Midheaven has an especially malevolent reputation for potentials such as mob violence, murderous tendencies, and the possibility of a tragic end (Devore). Along with royal Regulus rising (success if revenge is avoided--otherwise, all that's gained will be taken away--Brady), this has been the cosmic condition of Donald Trump since birth (natal MC) and the Mueller probe is now the spotlight shining brightly upon the star's turbulence and affecting the enraged Mr. Trump's career and public reputation on the world stage (MC).

Of course, you see that Mr. Trump's natal IC @25Scorpio is affected (family; domestic scene) as transit Jupiter in Scorpio approaches and readies to enter Trump's natal 4th house from whence his his natal Uranus-NN-Sun trio will eventually be opposed--conflicts and unfavorable conditions are indicated for an extended period once the Jupiter oppositions begin in 2019. (Also see the penned note, bottom center of the chart: "transit Jupiter oppo 2017 Sun Oct 25, 2018".) Yet some respite may be felt for transit Jupiter will also conjoin Trump's natal Moon @21Sag, usually a happy time unless negative conditions interfere overmuch. For him this may be the case due to his natal Moon-South Node conjunction visited by tr Jupiter so perhaps happy expectations won't be met since a Jupiter-SN contact often denotes blocked endeavors and ethical clashes (as with current conditions). Actually, a look back at the period when this transit of Jupiter occurred about 12 years prior would be fruitful for those who have the time.

Many Towers Totter Across the Globe

As for the bi-wheel pictured above, the outer chart of The Tower Solar Eclipse of August 11, 2018 @18Leo41 is shown because of the involvement of Trump Tower in the ongoing Mueller investigation and the structure's location of at least two significant meetings (June 9, 2016 and December 12, 2017) under Mueller's scrutiny when Russians came to call--and because Trump is so very proud of this building with his name upon it. Plus, this Solar Eclipse conjoins the noon Ascendant of May 17, 2017 (Washington DC) and so I have used it to show upcoming transits to Mr. Mueller's appointment. Also note that a Solar Eclipse in Sun-ruled Leo indicates that karmic progress can only be made if the negative qualities of Leo are avoided--pride, vanity, egocentricity, pomposity, and ostentatious display (Lineman). It also confirms a karmic relationship with one or more offspring--offspring such as Donald Junior whose involvement in the Trump Organization and actions during the 2016 Campaign such as contacts with Russians and others are in the cross hairs of Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation.

Now planet Pluto of the (criminal) Underworld holds an important position in both charts @19Capricorn+ but in 2018 Pluto is unaspected and thus detached from any planet in the Eclipse chart, and unable to offer its regenerative power. For Donald Trump this condition of a lonely Pluto is a 'natal echo' since his natal Pluto @10Leo02 is also unaspected which I have previously termed "overshadowed by shadows" as we recently discussed when we took a ginger step into Donald Trump's 12th house of the Unconscious.

And perhaps you remember that May 17, 2017 happened to be the very date of the first of five Neptune Returns (14Pis01, as you see!) of the Republican Party (of 1854). Synchronicity much? The last of the five conjunctions perfects on December 29, 2018 which takes party members into 2019 with a disappointing wilt rather than a bang. And as you know, a difficult star inhabits the region of 15Pisces--Achernar = crisis at the end of the river, or, the risk of rapid endings. Yes, many Capitol Hill resignations have been announced with the probability of more to come--plus midterm election losses in November if a 'Blue Wave' is allowed to wash over America and voters mobilize themselves in great numbers.

Well, there are many more chart factors of interest here but as usual this should remain a post not a book so let's close with a few notes on the May 17, 2017 Sun-Moon blend which sounds like a description of Robert Mueller to me--at least in comparison to the squishy, quirky, changeable Donald Trump whose natal Uranus @18Gemini (his guiding planet) hints of his China connections:

Horoscope: US Solar Return 2018 - we're 242 years old

April 18, 2018: below you see dual horoscopes of the upcoming US Solar Return 2018, one set for natal location of Philadelphia (lower left) and the other for our current capital of Washington DC (upper right). There are a few differences between the charts due to the two locations and both charts have my usual messy notes penned on them (mea culpa!) which may hopefully be read by enlarging the image:

Hour of Jupiter (Rx in 8th house and apex of a dynamic T-Square); Chart-ruler Mars in 11th house makes no applying aspects but aspects to Mars are listed on the right inside a box of red as is Mars. The Sabian Symbols for house cusps are notable but I won't type them here since you are perfectly capable of looking them up yourself (especially note ASC @13Aries). An obvious feature of both charts is authoritative Saturn at Midheaven (MC, the Goal Point of any chart). In the upper right corner is a potential for Saturn-MC in Politics which seems applicable to where America stands as I type (April 2018): 'formal rules imposed on the executive branch' (Munkasey). Now I'm uncertain how that may happen since congressional Republican leadership has refused to rein in Donald Trump from firing the officials involved in investigating Trump but perhaps it will come to pass that the Uranian lurking in the Oval Office will at some point have his mobster-like wings clipped. And after all, Saturn at MC may also represent a fall from grace.

America's Hazelrigg Horoscope, Thomas Jefferson, and July 2018

Now when it comes to Mr. Trump there are several important cosmic factors that will express upon the Earth before and after America's 242nd birthday (which as you see, actually perfects on July 5th this year--these Return charts are based on the US Hazelrigg Horoscope set for 12:20 pm on July 4, 1776 Philadelphia, PA with a 9th house Sun @13Can08 conj MC 16Can51, Moon 24AQ25 5th house, ASC 14Lib35 with our exalted-in-Libra Saturn rising which places our natal US Sun-Saturn square foremost; added to the natal and Return charts are the outer planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto). See John Hazelrigg. Two things about the 12:20 pm timing is that it tallies with the time in the engraved portrait of Benjamin Franklin pointing toward Philadelphia's Independence Hall clock with his enigmatic smile. Also, the newspaper obituary of Thomas Jefferson cites the time of his passing as 'ten minutes before 1 o'clock' and links the time to the signing of the Declaration of Independence--12:50 pm, close to 12:20 pm.

As for D. Trump (see Mars-SN and Sun-Pluto = ASC), and in spite of the protective Water Grand Trine (Sun-Jupiter-Neptune), July 2018 brings him and America a Syzygy Moon @6Cap28 (last lunation prior to US Solar Return 2018--marked on the Philadelphia chart conjunct MC--which is the revealing Full Moon of June 28th). More significant is the Solar Eclipse that perfects on July 13, 2018 @21Cancer for it is a repeat of Trump's Prenatal Solar Eclipse (@9Gemini in 1946--conjunct US natal Uranus) in the 2 Old North Saros Series of unfortunate news concerning relationships and ideas about separation yet fast action can bring good results (Brady).

Be the 2 Old North eclipse themes and potentials as they may, the July 13th eclipse hits the Twin Stars of Gemini, Castor and Pollux with their positive and/or negative manifestations which will be activated by the eclipse. And note that a 2 Old North solar eclipse last occurred on July 1, 2000 @10Cancer in the midst of our national Venus-Jupiter-Sun trio which connects its influences to America, the start of the New Millennium, and all that has happened since.

And the historical, cosmic lens through which all 2 Old North solar eclipses must be viewed is the sign of Cancer because its initial manifestation perfected on June 24, 792 (OS) @5Can49--conjunct what became the 1776 position of America's national Jupiter (Hazelrigg: 5Can53) so rounding up we get '6Cancer' = "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests". Now I don't know about either of you, but I consider the profiteering Donald Trump in the White House to be the best example of such nefarious activity that our nation has ever, in her 242 years, had to endure. We may discover that Trump has 'stolen us blind' and various other financial dealings of a dubious nature may be revealed by Summer 2018 lunations and eclipses. Plus, the orange-haired tower-builder and we have themes of 'The Tower' Solar Eclipse to 'look forward to' beginning in late July into August and beyond.

You may also wish to see a DC Horoscope of the Total Lunar Eclipse of July 27, 2018 @4AQ44--conjunct US natal South Node which suggests separation and/or isolation themes. A chart factor I neglected to mention previously is that US Solar Return 2018 occurs during a Nodal Return for the US (Hazelrigg South Node @6AQ35). As you know, a Nodal Return hints at the forming of new alliances of Jupiterian quality while possibly letting go of weaker ones at the Saturnian South Node--yet there are the Trump's indications of separations in relationships. Well, he's already proven to be a huge drag on our national life and relationships with other nations so maybe strong alliances will look up for America while his continue to suffer in some way. Think Mueller (since We The People can hardly count on Congress to do its job of protecting us from demagogues like Trump--and should we be crediting the Electoral College for the hot mess they plopped us into?). Yes, I had wanted Mr. Trump to play the POTUS role well since it would mean that America does well but I've been thoroughly disappointed for obvious reasons. You may disagree as you wish but there it is.

Now of course, there are many more chart factors worth considering but I'll leave them up to you since this isn't a book but merely a post. Yet mention should be made of the feminine in our Solar Return 2018 Horoscope which seems to point to a strong lady, perhaps a politician (acting at Aries Point, the world stage) but Melania Trump and separation in relationships (Trump's 2 Old North PE) are also possibilities.

All I can say is that if Melania has had enough of her Mercurial husband, who in this wide world could blame her? Plus, my strong suspicion is that a majority of Americans feel exactly the same way.
