America's 1776 Aries Ingress Horoscope

March 18, 2018: here is a view of the Aries Ingress (Spring Equinox) horoscope of March 19, 1776 (Sun to Aries Point) which shows a New Moon @1Aries ("A Woman Has Risen from the Ocean, a Seal Is Embracing Her"), and marks the beginning of a new cycle of activity and, as we know, heralds the founding of a new nation in 1776--order out of chaos. As you see, the midpoint of the revolutionary pair, Uranus and Pluto conjoins the Sun-Moon midpoint. Uranus-Pluto denotes the "collapse of the old order, construction of the new" and "revolution" (Ebertin).

The Sun Aries-Moon Aries combo? Mavericks and crusaders! Saturn exalted in Libra and rising? Difficulties at the beginning but ideals will be put into a proper form with laws for guidance.

Of course, 'a woman rising from the ocean' hints at a newly invented America and her founding motto, E pluribus unum, 'out of the many, one' and the 'seal' refers to America's Great Seal with its Illuminati symbols as accepted by the era's enlightened thinkers determined on the betterment of society (Sun sextile Uranus). These were our nation's Founding Fathers whose contrary ideals inspired them to become advocates for the common man (Sun sextile Pluto). To me the fact that Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto were not yet discovered in 1776 is of little if any consequence since a Neptune-Pluto trine was above their heads and denotes those who can respond to the invisible realms and forces whether they are aware of it or not!

So when looking at transits to America's natal horoscope (of which there are many versions set for various hours on July 4, 1776), this cosmically timed Aries Ingress 1776 chart is an alternative and may be a chart to keep in mind.

When speaking about capitalist states in a speech at the Polish embassy in Moscow on November 18, 1956, Russian de facto leader Nikita Khrushchev famously said, "Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you." Since then, the correct translation of his words has been in doubt in various quarters, as noted on the phrase's Wikpedia page.

Later, on August 24, 1963 in a speech he delivered in Yugoslavia, Khrushchev confided, "I once said, 'We will bury you', and I got into trouble with it. Of course we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you." This refers to the Marxist saying, The proletariat is the undertaker of capitalism (a quote from The Communist Manifesto).

Q: Are the January 6, 2021 insurrectionists being described here? We know their sedition campaign to collapse The Establishment, what they call the deep (Neptune) state (Saturn) is ongoing with more to come, so what do you think?

Now I'm pretty certain that if you're reading Stars Over Washington at this moment you know that the Saturn-Neptune duo can represent multiple concepts such as Socialism, Communism, Capitalism, Marxism, and other -isms in political realms along with social safety net programs, ill and poor people, suffering, renunciation, and ascetism. I would add, a strugggle between idealism and materialism, secret government, and the pair's midpoint as the illness axis. (Notably, Trump was born with Saturn-Neptune = Ascendant: oppressive family circumstances.)

And so for your consideration, here's a bi-wheel of America July 4, 1776 5:09 m LMT Philadelphia (inner) surrounded by the next Great Conjunction of Saturn and Neptune on February 20, 2026 conjunct the Aries Point/IC with potentials for illness, wrong thinking, hysteria, and perhaps social safety net program issues which relate, of course, to the old grump about America as a socialist nation taking care of her needy citizens:

Now it's true that not all astrologers use a late afternoon July 4, 1776 Horoscope for America (which at the least symbolizes the date of the Declaration of Independence though not its first vote), but I've found the chart useful through the years with its Cardinal World Points of Global Events conjunct the MC-IC Angles of Why? and How?. So the chart I use in the bi-wheel, above, is set for Philadelphia at 5:09 pm LMT which places the highly significant Aries Point on the Foundation Point (IC).

Penned on the chart is the IC's Sabian Symbol: "A Woman Has Arisen From the Ocean, a Seal Is Embracing Her." Naturally, e pluribus unum and America's Great Seal are suggested - at the Founding of our nation.

Plus, the inner horoscope also shows America's 1776 Saturn and Neptune straddling the Goal, Aspiration, Public Status Point ('MC'; @00Lib47) in the 9th and 10th houses, so the 2026 Conjunction symbolically opposes 1776 Saturn and Neptune, something of a Full Moon phase of culmination, full awareness, and/or fulfillment, if we wish to consider it as such.

And yes, astrologically it's all on the messy side, inexact to be exact, but as "they" always say, the proof will be in the pudding - once or before the next Great Conjunction of Saturn-Neptune rolls around.

US natal Sun Cancer-Moon Aquarius and Jupiter

Most natal horoscopes for America use July 4, 1776 as our nation's birth date, the day the Declaration of Independence was unveiled to the people, and which shows the United States to be a misty, ethereal, creative Sun Cancer-Moon Aquarius blend of energies. This Water-Air combination describes the synergy between leadership (Sun) and the people (Moon) and may be worthy of a brief investigation.

This is a 'thinking vs feeling' blend with a decided past and future vibe. Humanitarianism is indicated with its concern for the public welfare, and the generous spirit of this combo supports Jupiter as our probable US natal chart-ruler (Sagittarius rising.)

Sun Can-Moon AQ is a lover of symbols which relates well to our national personality as a people, but also to the mysterious symbols our leaders have placed through the years on US coins and paper money, our flag, the Great Seal's obverse and reverse sides, etc. In fact, the Great Seal's eye in the triangle and pyramid are opposites representing the transformation process which results in a whole and creates something new: "whole-brain knowing." This relates to a new paradigm, a phrase we've heard often lately. However, this topic goes a little beyond the scope of a brief post so let's mosey back to the visionary combo of Sun Can-Moon AQ.

Typically the American people act as cautious, self-protective, old-fashioned 'crabs' with a highly romanticized view of our nation's past; yet often we are (and are seen to be) focused on futuristic plans and trends with a quirky need for space, movement, independence, and freedom. We're quite a mish-mash of thinkers and feelers which I suspect the elite ruling class realized long ago with their 'liberal vs conservative' tactics to keep us divided and conquered.

(In my universe, thinkers are allowed to feel and feelers are allowed to think whenever necessary!)

When our conscious Sun traits of Cancer are melded into our unconscious Aquarian Moon traits, we can be friends to the world with an advantageous flair for traditional progressivism. This is what I suspect most Americans are and prefer to be, for we see things as working best that way, even as politics' divisive 'either/or' requirements and propagandistic slogans busy themselves with gumming up the efficient working of our society. Unfortunately for the good of our nation, most Capitol Hill Republicans and Democrats purposefully lost that thread decades ago and have no intention of gaining it back.

With Sun Cancer-Moon AQ, the typical clannishness of Cancer is universalized by the Aquarian Moon so that broad social issues are always on our country's agenda. Family is paramount with us, yet our friends and colleagues tend to be treated as 'family', too. So personal warmth combines with abstract thought and is communicated to the world with aplomb and conviction. The sign Cancer is shrewd in business, yet we prefer to match our sentiments with actions for the benefit of all.

A weakness of the Can-AQ blend is a tendency to 'mother the world' and take on too many burdens at once. We have only to look at our government's meddling and misadventures in foreign countries to see where this tendency has led us (an empty treasury being one of its dire results.)

Horoscope: Washington DC's Progressed Full Moon

If you've never taken a look at the Horoscope of Washington DC (May 3, 1802; Sun 12Taurus, Moon Taurus or Gemini) why not check it out? In this post, I'm using Secondary Progressions ('SP') to find the position and date of the current/upcoming Progressed Full Moon/s (the city's next Lunar Phase) of DC (my former city of residence) and have used two timings for the 1802 chart to do the progressing: 12:00 am LMT (ASC 19Cap43) and 12:00 pm LMT (ASC 20Leo37) since no exact hour of DC's founding is known - although 'noon' may be closest to an actual occurring event on that day, if tradition counts. The founding date of May 3, 1802 is the earliest incorporation date that the District became a city although you may prefer other timings, including the version with Aries Point rising. Your choice!

2021/2022: Secondary Progressions of Washington, the District of Columbia

If an SP Full Moon of person or entity represents as far as can be safely extended into the world, then details concerning DC's SP Full Moon should be informative. These are:

Washington DC May 3, 1802 12:00 am LMT: SP Full Moon @16Gem35 June 8, 2022.

Washington DC May 3, 1802 12:00 pm LMT: SP Full Moon @16Gem35 December 8, 2021.

So as you know, Secondary Progressions use the day-for-a-year method and with these two charts, the Zodiacal position of the progressed ('evolved') Full Moon is the same - 16Gem35 - only the dates differ. Obviously, the 12:00 pm dated Full Moon has already passed on December 8th, in fact, but the 12:00 am date arrives in the midst of a Midterm Elections year so the political campaigns and primaries are sure to grab most of the air in any room and naturally, news rooms will be perking on full boil, commerce and ad sales in full swing. Tons of junk mail and emails are on the way, folks!

Plus, it remains to be seen, but it looks now as if President Biden's Build Back Better legislation will be taken up in early 2022 (if not before). If so, the city's SP Full Moon of June 8, 2022 may be the more operative horoscope. Transit note: a Full Moon perfects on or about June 12, 2022 @23Sag25 which spotlights the city's SP Chiron (23Sag04) and echoes back to the problematic 4 South Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020, the day of the Electoral College Vote for Joe Biden; themes include 'frustrated emotions over money and/or relationships', 'relationship events beyond personal control', a 'sense of fatedness' to events, and a caution to 'avoid rash action until issues settle down' (paraphrasing B. Brady). Yet as we saw on January 6, 2021, some folks are not heeding any caution at all because many of them were, and are, under a Moon-Neptune influence.

As For Secondary Progressions

Now you know that fixed stars are never used with progressions (stars' positions are 'fixed', progressions are symbolic) so let's skip to considerations of the rounded-up Sabian Symbols ('word pictures') for both degrees of the SP Sun and SP Moon, then add a few notes concerning the Fire-Air, 'Mercury-Jupiter' Sun Sagittarius-Moon Gemini combination of conscious and unconscious energies (solar = leaders; lunar = the people). As you see, the charts' SP midpoint pictures ('pix') are listed and highlighted in blue with one midpoint picture rising along with SP Saturn in the upper right chart progressed to June 8, 2022.

Plus, the lower left chart (SP to December 8, 2021) has notes squished upon it but the upper right image (SP to June 8, 2022) has been left relatively unruffled by my messy scribblings. Additionally, one thing you'll notice right away is that, except for the obvious differences such as house cusps, most of the factors listed are the same in both charts unless otherwise notated. Meanwhile, quick mention should be made of the Moon-Venus inconjunct which suggests potentials for vanity, superficiality, and a need to be reassured by popularity polls. The aspect also denotes an attraction to fickle partners which invites betrayal! However, betrayal can flow in both directions. (A. Epstein).

So what we seek here is an updated (from 1802!) cosmic picture of an 'evolved' capital city of Washington DC (representative of America) but what's missing in this post are the planetary transits for the date and hour of each chart. Hopefully you may be interested enough in this topic to view the transits for yourself and add them to the SP charts:

SP Full Moon "17Gemini": "The Head of Health Dissolved Into the Head of Mentality" = Keyword DEVELOPMENT; positive expression: the effective orientation of selfhood in an overall vision; negative (unconscious/shadow) expression: a defeat of accomplishment by a senseless clinging to the illusions of youth.

SP Full Moon Sun "17Sag": "An Easter Sunrise Service" = Keyword REBIRTH; positive expression: an unusual realization of immortal resources and an ability to employ them wisely; negative expression: overconcern with superficial form and ceremony (The Sabian Symbols in Astrology, Dr. Marc Edmund Jones #ad).

SP Sun Sagittarius-Moon Gemini is a 'live-wire' Fire-Air blend full of zeal and ideas and is ruled by the Mercury-Jupiter duo of planetary energies. A motto could be 'knowledge vs wisdom' with connections easily seen between apparently unrelated things. Logic is preferred over emotions and a wide range of interests are followed. Mischievously wicked, this blend suggests intellectual curiosity, communication skill, and an inventive, self-absorbed demeanor. Restless, adventurous, and sociable, the Sun Sag-Moon Gemini archetype appreciates irony and is excellent at playing devil's advocate, preferring to live by its wits which means that the city's deeper potentials are unfulfilled at this point, not for a while anyway. But once the city's SP Moon reaches 00Cancer00 about 14 months after each Full Moon date and a steamy, sterilizing, more optimistic Fire-Water blend evolves, we'll see.

So! As things stand, the most basic archetype for the current condition of Washington DC is 'eternal youth' which resonates closely with the above negative expressions of the current SP Full Moon and Sun combo via youthful illusions that defeat accomplishments, superficial concerns, and empty ceremonies which are primarily staged to gaslight and distract the American public from the unsavory actions of a corrupt political class, their pocket-lining enablers, and the global and domestic criminal networks infesting Washington DC and calling a mobster tune.

To close: enlightening may be the 'Image for Integration' supplied by the Harveys in their book, Sun Sign-Moon Sign, to describe in a few words the city's SP Sun Sag-Moon Gemini blend:

"Robin Hood, as a young boy, plays truant from school to go to this archery lesson, but ends up teaching card tricks to his master."

So much meaning is embedded within this Image! My closing thoughts are that 'archery' reminds me of America's traditional symbol of the Eagle with 13 arrows in its talons (representing the original 13 Colonies, if memory serves) along with the association of the Robin Hood mythology of robbing the rich to give to the poor - and a REBIRTH on this level, if accomplished, would bring some measure of balance to our perilously unequal society and this is precisely what I believe the Biden-Democratic agenda intends to do if Republican regressives would stand down, stop idolizing the past, and join in with America's future endeavors and much needed improvements awaiting implementation.

IMF meets as Venus Stations Rx Oct 8, 2010

The International Monetary Fund meets this weekend in Washington DC as planet Venus turns retrograde today, October 8, 2010 at 13Scorpio 13, a station retrograde.

As you see, the mystical number 13, important in Sacred Geometry (as Freemasonry tells us), is being emphasized here as the planet of evaluations and relationships is strengthened while seemingly standing still in the heavens. Erin Sullivan in her book Retrograde Planets says, "We might see Venus as the elegantiae arbiter, the arbiter of taste."

Sounds about right for the elitist bankers and titans meeting this weekend to ostensibly fulfill a basic function their organization was created to perform: to oversee the global financial system. Yet given the crooked way things are being run these days, one might wonder what they're really discussing. Will the proof be of a pudding consistency as the effects of their decisions lift all boats - or will they merely keep the globalists' yachts afloat while continuing to drown the rest of us? Show the world your brilliance, IMF! Surprise us with your practical concern for the common good before 'no one will be able to buy or sell'!

One thing they may need this weekend is their best intuitive functions working full steam, for the Sabian Symbol for '13Sco' is: "An Inventor Performs a Laboratory Experiment."

Well, this group of gents and dames are in possession of all the facts, I'd wager if I were a wagerer, so let's see what magic they can do to aid the financial conditions of their fellow man and woman. Yeah, right. (See what happens when I try to type something positive about people I don't respect because I suspect them of having darker motives?)

If we round up for Venus' degree to '14Sco' we get: "Telephone Linemen at Work Installing New Connections." Hmm. I'd like to see their guest list for this conference, wouldn't you?

(Don't know about you, but whenever a planetary station is afoot, I tend to consider the station degree rounded up but especially the lower degree since it will soon be re-visited and may be the more salient symbol at the time of the station for the planet is in process of reaching the higher degree but doesn't quite reach it until it moves forward again - for Venus 2010, that's about November 18, then she moves out of her shadow - beyond 13Sco13 - in time for the crisis-degreed December 21, 2010 Lunar Eclipse which may affect world markets.)

On December 27, 1945 when the IMF was formally organized, a noon chart shows the Sun (leadership) at 5Cap36 where transiting Pluto, planet of secret power and manipulation, has been hanging about. Pluto to Sun transits indicate a time when self-awareness and the attainment of power and recognition are uppermost and more aggression may be shown or may be needed in order to accomplish goals. Some sort of ID transformation or a new start is indicated as well and I think it's interesting that progressing the IMF's noon chart gives the entity a Secondary New Moon on January 12, 2012 - the very beginning of a new 30-year cycle of activity; the IMF entered its Balsamic phase (the dark of the Moon when sneaky things may lurk about) in May 2008, the world's Financial Collapse year.

The IMF's North Node (NN) lies at 29Gem56 and will encounter (NN) the full energy of the December 21 Lunar Eclipse 29Gem21; therefore, natal Venus 27Sag01 conjunct its SN will also feel the critical affects of the lunation.

In the natal horoscope (noon est, Washington DC, as stated), a correct hour is not needed for two midpoint pictures which are stamped upon the character of the IMF and involve the powerful and very wealthy Pluto, god of the Underworld. The first involves the Illuminati pair of energies, Uranus and Neptune:

Uranus/Neptune = Pluto (Rx @ 11Leo23): inspirations for ideas that can change the world; participation and support of the extreme destruction that's caused by disagreements; catastrophes; great losses.

Sun/Pluto = Jupiter (direct @ 24Libra17): successful striving for power; the urge to expand and acquire wealth; establishing one's position in the world; an idealistic desire to be number One; debasing of one's personal standards; creating a more complete set of standards and ethics. And events and outcomes both near and future will tell us what the IMF has in store as they pull strings to adjust the global economy during this beautiful, Venus-infused weekend in Washington, DC.

SCOTUS, the 6th Uranus-Pluto Cardinal Square, and a New Millennium

Progressive Uranus in Explosive Aries! 

This morning as I glanced at the horoscope of the next exact square (#6 of 7) between Uranus and Pluto (December 15, 2014 @12+ degrees of Aries/Capricorn), my eye was caught by a Think Progress headline: There's a Hidden Time Bomb in the Senate Rules That Will Go Off If a Supreme Court Justice Retires. How might the symbol for '13 Aries' link to the headline and its topic, above?

Because rounding up the degree of disruptive Uranus to 13 Aries gives a certain Sabian Symbol which may apply to the situation: "A Safely Concealed Bomb Fails to Explode" (Solar Fire software), or, as Dane Rudhyar puts it: "An Unexploded Bomb Reveals an Unsuccessful Social Protest." Keynote: An immature evaluation of the possibility of transforming suddenly the status quo.

And of course, the ongoing Uranus-Pluto square is the current phase of their Great Conjunction/s of the mid-1960s when 'social protest' was all the rage in US streets as it exploded across the globe on behalf of human rights; plus, the 'old order v new order' vibes of Uranus-Pluto have insinuated themselves into every institution these days. Can you feel it?

Now for more info on 13 Aries, Marc Edmund Jones adds: "An Unsuccessful Bomb Explosion." Keyword: IMPETUOUSNESS...positive expression: a dramatic rejection of any accomplishment falling at all short of a very deep or hallowed purpose; negative (unconscious/shadow side--jc): a waste of opportunity and a futile expenditure of self through vanity or petulance. Hmm. Sounds rather like some obstructive, politically motivated judge-appointee nomination hearings to me. And Capitol Hill denizens and shills do like their drama, don't they? Some have made it known that they prefer to govern by not governing.

Sadly for the rest of us, 99% of our politicians are in breach of the public trust and their "very deep or hallowed purpose" seems to be totalitarian control of a 'new order' Global Government based on 'higher' (secret) oaths they've taken which have little if anything to do with their oaths of office and absolutely nothing to do with carrying out 'the people's business.' Yes, We The People must seem only a quaint notion to varmints, brigands, pirates, thieves, psychopaths, and tyrants who imagine themselves kings of the world because they're brazen enough to plunder, pillage, and break societal taboos!

Here's something speculative from April 2013: Ginsburg Eyed as Possible Retirement from Supreme Court. Well, she's an admirable 80-something so it will be interesting to see what happens within the ranks of SCOTUS benchers in or by December 2014.


Another View of the 6th and 7th Uranus-Pluto Cardinal Square

On March 17, 2015, the last of the exact Cardinal Squares (Ari/Cap) occurs between Uranus and Pluto and considering the "progress" made in their 'new order' (Uranus) plans so long ago initiated, it is tempting to consider the Sabian Symbol for 2 Libra. Why? Because the period of time between exact square #6 and #7 (December 15, 2014 -- March 17, 2015) may be crucial to government plans whatever character they may ultimately turn out to have. And in America's often used  'Sibly' natal horoscope, the Midheaven (Mc) which represents The Goal/Aspirations Point of the American Experiment is very near by degree--'1 Libra'. One has only to move the chart from 5:10 pm LMT (Philadelphia, PA) on July 4, 1776 to a couple of minutes later to not only set the Mc for '2 Libra'--but '3 Libra' happens to be the midpoint of our nation's Saturn (15Lib) and Neptune (23Virgo).

Together there are many possible expressions for the Saturn-Neptune combination such as: secret or hidden (Neptune) government (Saturn), social programs, socialism, communism, capitalism and other -isms, suffering, martyrdom, illness, loss--you know the list. Well, the 6th square of  Uranus-Pluto morphs into the 7th square so let's check out the symbol for '2 Libra':

Rudhyar: "The Transmutation of the Fruits of Past Experiences Into the Seed-Realizations of the Forever Creative Spirit." 'Keynote: A repolarization of inner energies leading to a creative centralization of consciousness.'

In the occult, this may relate to Blavatsky's Secret Doctrine and mankind's evolution, yet it may apply more fully to the occult meanings of the numbers 6 and 7. Rudhyar continues: "Number 6 (Solomon's Seal) represents the synthesis of descending spirit and descending matter. It represents the fullness of all past efforts; within the six-fold fruition the seed may be found, the seventh.Outer activity is fulfilled (the Six Days of Creation in the first chapter of Genesis); and the Supreme Actor can be seen in His changelessness and therefore his transcending all-inclusiveness."

"All that was manifested in the plant is gathered in the hidden seed, which in due time becomes the foundation of a new cycle of existence. The fruit decays. For a brief moment the released seed may be seen; this is the 'seventh' period that becomes the creative power fathering a new cycle."

Rudhyar goes on but I shall close for now after reminding myself of the ceremony at the Washington Monument (our national phallic symbol meant for 'seeding' all those feminine goddesses sprinkled abundantly around the District of Columbia--how odd that George, the Father of Our Country, apparently fathered no children of his own!) on New Year's Eve December 31, 1999 when Bill and Hillary seeded the nation and the world into the New Millennium. With the October 23, 2014 Solar Eclipse @00Sco24 here, the last eclipse of 2014, let's take a futuristic peek at the 6 upcoming Solar Eclipses of the years 2015 through 2017. First, a basic list in order of occurrence with details to follow:

1. March 20, 2015 @29Pisces 17 South Saros Series (17S);

2. Sept 13, 2015 @20Virgo 18 North (18N);

3. March 9, 2016 @19Pisces 18 South (18S);

4. Sept 1, 2016 @9Virgo 19 North (19N);

5. Feb 26, 2017 @8Pisces 19 South (19S);

6. Aug 21, 2017 @29Leo 1 North (1N);

As you see, the first 5 Solar Eclipses manifest across the 6/12 'victim-savior' axis of Virgo-Pisces (Earth-Water) before switching to the Fire-Air 'will' axis of Leo-Aquarius in August 2017. This energy shift follows that of the Solar Eclipses which have occurred across the forceful Taurus-Scorpio axis (Earth-Water) since November 2012 with all the desire nature/self will/money-resources and transformation themes the two signs embody.

Plus, the world is once again brutalized by warmongers and by the implementation of vengeful, dramatically staged beheadings with intolerant Taurus ruling the neck and intense, betraying Scorpio's Mars-Pluto influences of violence and rape which shows that to some who feel themselves to be holier-than-thou, other people's lives have no value (Taurus) and self-interest (Scorpio) is exalted above everything. There are no brothers' keepers in this Venus/Mars-Pluto crowd.

Six Solar Eclipse Themes and Other Details:

1. March 20, 2015 17S themes include: good news concerning relationships or creative group projects with sudden success, plus, a potential for happiness in love. Though in very late Pisces, this eclipse conjoins the Aries Point (AP) of prominence, fame, recognition, and therefore may manifest in some way upon the world stage. It is the first Solar Eclipse of the new US Congress and may be active for up to two weeks prior to its date of March 20, 2015--and imprints upon Spring Equinox 2015 which then affects the entire year of 2015 with its themes running in the background.

Initial eclipses of a Saros Series provide further clues concerning themes and a look at historic events around the time or during the year of an initial eclipse's manifestation fills out the current picture of its background influences. The sign qualities of an initial eclipse give shading to the expression of an eclipse and its sign rather like an Ascendant sign colors an entire horoscope so that an eclipse sign can be viewed through its initial eclipse sign along with the differing rulers and sub-rulers. The various houses involved may be considered as well but that is beyond the scope of this particular post.

The initial eclipse of 17S occurred on May 27, 933 *OS @10Gemini with an active Mars conjunct AP which Mars rules with the eclipse degree quite near US natal Uranus @9Gemini, our nation's totem planet of freedom, independence, revolution, and a 'new order'. Gemini, sign of reporters, traders, teachers, students, orators, transportation, and more is ruled as you know by Mercury and adds communication, travel, and possibly Peter-Pan-like vibes to the 17S affairs of March 2015 and the 6 months following.

17S as Pre-Natal Eclipse Series

Quite a varied cast of famous characters and entities were born or begun under the auspices of 17S including (in no particular order): Ayn Rand, Adolf Hitler, Princess Diana, Rachel Carson, Barbara Bush, Charlie Chaplin (note his role as 'The Great Dictator'!), President Barack Obama (note how Republicans call him a 'dictator' unless it's deemed to be more politically beneficial to call him weak and ineffectual--as if they're anything to write home about!), Newt Gingrich, Iran (Apr 1, 1979), and the German Empire (Jan 1, 1871.)

In modern days, 17S has manifested in the years 1907, 1925, 1943, 1961, 1979, 1997, (2015); next: 2033.

2. Sept 13, 2015 18N themes include potentials for: obsessive thinking, anxiety, a high stress level, events that require a large expenditure of effort, a taxing of strength, physical concerns, illness, or accident. On a Political Astrology level I shall add that this eclipse is but one degree from Fixed Star Denebola, keywords: 'to go against society' or, 'against the mainstream'. Perhaps incidentally, US natal Neptune falls nearby at 22Virgo in conjunction with yet obscuring the planet of motivation and action, Mars, in the natal chart of President Obama.

The Initial Eclipse in the 18N Series occurred on Feb 4, 1060 OS @21AQ34 with two notable conjunctions that link to America's natal planets (July 4, 1776): Mercury Rx conjunct Pluto conjoining US natal Moon (We the People) in later Aquarius, and Venus conjunct Jupiter conjoining US natal Pluto Rx in late Capricorn. As you know, Mercury-Pluto relates to obsession with secrets and information and echoes the US Mercury-Pluto opposition (NSA and other spies)--add the Moon and we have an obsessive need for privacy, for more power, and adds another health implication, possibly of young people.

Natives born under the influence of 18N and events occurring include: Robert F. Kennedy, Secretary of State John Kerry, war architect and global banker Paul "Spit Comb" Wolfowitz, and the assassination of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed. As with 17S, 18N has manifested in the years 1907, 1925, 1943, 1961, 1979, 1997, (2015); next: 2033.

3. March 9, 2016 18S themes include potentials for: endings, separations, and partings which can relate to travel or to endings of relationships or alliances; grief and anguish may follow yet the pain of separation can be lessened by new situations which create positive outcomes.

The Initial Eclipse of the 18S Series occurred on August 20, 1096 OS @3Sco29 with forceful Mars-Pluto undertones; this degree conjoins the current position of US Secondary Progressed Saturn Rx showing America's compromised authority in the world.

A major flavor within the 18S initial eclipse is an obsessive quindecile aspect (165 degr) between two money planets, Venus and Jupiter which on one level can give much creative energy but also indicates an excessive drive for relationships and/or money; ideals, morals, and ethics are often based on material gain, belief systems tend to motivate action, and excess and indulgence are potentials. An interesting list of characters and entities born or occurring under 18S includes: Sirhan Sirhan, Craig Ferguson, Rudy Giuliani, Marilyn Monroe, Mark Twain, Piet Mondrian, the city of St. Augustine, Florida, the US hostage release by Iran staged just in time for Reagan's first Inauguration, and the surrender of General Cornwallis to General George Washington at an hour, date, and location of Freemason George's choosing.

4. Sept 1, 2016 19N themes include potentials for: coming down to earth with a sense of realism; becoming aware of an old situation and seeing it for what it really is--it's a constructive time for tackling the truth.

19N's Initial Eclipse manifested on July 5, 1331 OS @20Can32 which now conjoins the light-and-dark Twin Stars Castor and Pollux; the Moon becomes an influence through its rulership of Cancer so that security, nurturing, food concerns, toxicity, and other family and physical matters filter through the Sept 2016 eclipse sign of Virgo, sign of Work, Health, and Service (including Military and Police Service.) Naturally the victim-savior axis remains in force here along with issues of slave trading, sex and drug trafficking, and abuse of power.

A list of 19N alumni includes: Paul Singer, President Lyndon B. Johnson, the Republican Party (1854), and the (Masonic) Great Seal of the United States (1782.) More recently 19N has manifested in the years 1908, 1926, 1944, 1962, 1980, 1998, (2016); next: 2034--just as with 18S.

5. Feb 26, 2017 19S themes show potentials for: pleasant surprises, joyous events, sudden happiness, the lucky break or win; positive life changes may ensue.

19S's Initial Eclipse occurred on April 16, 1512 OS (this date may be incorrect) @5Tau27 thus adding Venusian-Taurean qualities to the February 2017 eclipse with its murky if inspirational and compassionate Piscean brew. As always with the sign of Two Fishes, the high road or the low road may be taken to the heights or the depths. And one man's 'lucky break' is often a result of another man's loss.

One curious factor of the eclipse of 1512 is that quirky, disruptive rebel, Uranus, was then at 15Aries07 where it now lurches once again--basically a Uranus Return to the 1512 Solar Eclipse horoscope. Notable? We shall see for it's quite difficult to tell with Uranus which may not always act at all. Yet we are discussing eclipses as 'wild cards' of a Uranian nature--'out of the blue' events which may suddenly change the rules of any game. Plus, 19S's initial eclipse contains a Mars-Pluto conjunction in Sagittarius, sign of The Seeker, but also of the foreigner or the fanatic (usually with an idealistic or religious quality.) Helpfully, a Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Pisces is also present through which overindulgence or extravagance may be evident.

19S manifested in the years 1908, 1927, 1945, 1963, 1981, 1999, (2017); next: 2035. Its 'devotees' include the Democratic Party (1801), Reagan's near-assassination (saved by Astrology?!), the White House and the US Congress (Nov 1800), Wounded Knee (1890), the UK (Jan 1, 1801), Vince Foster, Eric Cantor, Johnny Depp, and Paris Hilton.

6. August 21, 2017's 1N Solar Eclipse @29Leo is being called The Great American Eclipse (more on that later) and is highlighted because it is the first Total Solar Eclipse that will be visible in all the 48 states with a Path of Totality from Wyoming to South Carolina. It is also significant because it manifests on a critical-crisis 29th degree and is near a Royal Star of Persia, Regulus, now precessed into very early Virgo with the keywords, 'success if revenge is avoided'.

A Solar Eclipse in proud Leo, ruled by the Sun (ego, hero's journey, natural leadership, royalty, creativity, vitality) denotes that karmic progress depends on use of such positive Leonine qualities. Pride, arrogance, egocentricity, vanity, pomposity, and other negative traits of Leo retard or block karmic progress.

In 2017, the manifestation of 1N is the first time the 'Nostradamus' 'King of Terror' (or, 'Alarm')--the 'Mother of All Eclipses'--has repeated since its much-touted manifestation @18Leo on August 11, 1999. The Fixed Grand Cross of that eclipse is notable for its appearance in the Book of Revelation of the Oxen Point, the Lion Point, the Eagle Point, and the Angel Point of the mid-degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.)

Perhaps you prefer to think this link by eclipse between 1999 and 2017 is of no matter. Well, as always, dear reader, that is up to you. Yet the Fixed Cross degrees and the degree and sign of the 1999 eclipse are sensitized and I expect some repetition of such themes. And yes, I do believe it is late days in earthly history. So let us continue our consideration...

Themes of 1N: unexpected events concerning groups or friends occur and place great pressure on personal relationships; issues loom large yet hasty decisions are unwise since information is distorted and possibly false; health matters and fatigue are associated with 1N.

The initial eclipse in the 1N Series occurred @13Cap48 (opposite US natal Sun = leadership) on January 4, 1639 OS with a money/power-related Jupiter-Pluto opposition across the Taurus-Scorpio axis. The Jupiter-Pluto pair denotes bankers, politicians, power brokers, and big wheeler-dealers who mount large projects.

There are those who believe that the US presidential election of 2016 will be America's last but even if this is not so, difficult events are on the menu for our nation and for global populations. These will be blended with positive events, of course, for that is the nature of our dualistic, dark v light, world. One hint in the initial eclipse is that 1639 Saturn conjoins US natal South Node @6Aquarius (Neptune's 'Medina degree' conjoined on 9/11/01), a point of separation that is ruled by Saturn, planet of authority and control. And of course, we are nearing the first-ever US Pluto Return/s of 2022 (3x) the effects of which no one can predict since it has not happened before in US history.

Another possibility for a Saturn-SN connection is a continental shift or other natural disaster that physically splits America--or, on political and social levels, perhaps current secessionist movements will gain some amount of 'success' and splinter our Perpetual Union.

Yes, our Pluto returning to natal degree may apply to 'loss of authority or control' issues at home or abroad (loss of global status, the dollar sinks?) since in the US natal horoscope of July 4, 1776, Pluto @27Cap33 is out-of-bounds and, I believe, directed the Founders and events from afar, probably via a secret society or societies. Wealthy Pluto's opposition to US natal Mercury Rx in Cancer keys it to the events of that day such as the authoring and signing of our 'Freedom Documents', war funding and revolutionary planning, and the use of the 'providential' All-Seeing Eye of Horus as an American symbol. In Sabian Symbols, US Mercury '25Cancer' = "A Man Wrapped in an Invisible Mantle of Power" which reminds us all of powerful Pluto's mythological Cape of Invisibility and it's Luciferianism all the way--even the Statue of Liberty, the torch-bearer of the satanic Illuminati--the statue made of copper, the metal of Venus. Every time we marvel at 'Lady Liberty' they slyly wink at how we're worshiping Lucifer!

1N manifested in the years 1909, 1927, 1945, 1963, 1981 (Reagan!), 1999 as noted, (2017); next: 2035.

A few of 1N's people and events born or founded under its rays must be added in closing: Washington Irving (of 'headless horseman' fame now popularized by Fox TV's series Sleepy Hollow with its apocalypse themes), Lou Dobbs, the United Nations, and Harry Truman's Atomic Bomb Attack of August 6, 1945. (Harry "gave 'em hell" all right: the abomination of desolation.)

In conclusion:

Since eclipses often behave as 'wild cards' of the Universe--in a sudden, unexpected, Uranian fashion--we should find that many secrets and crimes continue to be revealed along with surprises and shocking events which may arise from the manifestation of the Solar Eclipses above, and from their corresponding Lunar Eclipses though these effects may happen more often on an inner level for most of us. Of course, being familiar with one's own natal horoscope is handy for discovering in which houses (departments of life) eclipses fall and which planets and aspects may be affected, stimulated, or triggered--and for how long.

London Olympics 2012 Opening full of Symbolism

Not All Pageantry Is What It Seems: Veiled Olympic Symbols 2012

After reading several descriptions of last evening's opening ceremony of London Olympic Games 2012, I find Olympics 2012: London's Opening Act to detail rather brilliantly (and unintentionally) an abundant use of Illuminati symbols which spotlight Global Governance and the UK's political power within the long-standing NWO enterprise which attempts to regress the world into satanic chaos so that totalitarianism can grab complete control of our lives.

This is not to say that the young athletes participating are not awesome and hardworking, or that one can't enjoy watching Olympic competitions. Yet I must wonder if participants and medalists are aware of symbols such as the Olympic flame as a veiled reference to the 'eternal flame', a symbol of the global syndicate that some refer to as the Illuminati (the illuminated ones) who imagine they are elected to boss everyone else around! You've seen their burning symbol yourself over the gravesites of assassinated leaders and others who've become inconvenient, or perhaps those who balked at the offer that can't be refused, or neglected the task that was later required (or, the script that wasn't followed) in exchange for wealth, fame, recognition, and high societal position.

Yes, these are models of the earthly rewards Satan offered Jesus which He refused and of the choices which many of us face every day: materialism v idealism (Saturn v Neptune, the 'secret, shadow, or invisible government' duo. Britain has one of those while America's is more hidden.)

So was the placing of an 'eternal flame' at Ground Zero a big ol' honkin' clue?

Well, the following is my interpretation (or, translation) of the lighting (illuminating) of July 27, 2012's Olympic flame in London (which some say is the earthly location of Satan's headquarters, aka, the City of London, a law-unto-itself financial district--as in, Libor rate-rigging.) Naturally, you may take it all with a grain of salt if you wish, but if you're aware of certain astrological and mythological correspondances the following symbols will make more sense! And you'll probably think of other symbolic links which I neglect to mention here:

July 27, 2012: Flames and Fireworks Light Up London

Five-time rowing gold-medalist Sir Steven Redgrave carried the Olympic flame and handed it off to 7 young athletes (7 = the 7 stars of the Pleiades The Bull, the "Seven Weeping Sisters"--there are many references to this constellation in previous posts on this blog especially one of its major stars, Algol--type into the sidebar Search field for a list of mentions; 'the Bull' of course, links to the ancient, secretive, bull-slaying Roman cult of Mithras, to 'papal bulls', and to the idolatry of the golden calf.)

Raging Algol's connections are to decapitation (losing one's head--ex: greed for gold is contagious and more is never enough--consider the income inequality of Wall Street and global bankers v The 99%), fires (such as Olympic flames, and the historic Fire of London) violence, murder, and criminality. (Algol info: Horary Plain & Simple, Anthony Louis.) Body parts ruled by Taurus are, as you know, the throat, neck, and shoulders, and the sign's shadow traits are greed, possessiveness, covetousness, pride, prejudice, and intolerance.

In last evening's ceremony, the 7 athletes ("who represented the future of Britain," says the article linked above) "lit a COPPER ROSE petal--" each, a double Venus reference--her metal, her flower. Plus, Venus is a major icon of America's Founding Fathers, many of whom were British, and may be seen in NYC's copper Statue of Liberty, the statue of the goddess 'Freedom' atop our Capitol Dome, and many other symbolic Venus-Isis-Innana and Mary graven images; nurturing Ceres (Venus) and the stars of Virgo (the Virgin) play into America's national mystery play as well (US natal Neptune in Virgo.) Exactly where Venus appears as a graven image in London, I do not know, but I know she must be there. After all, the asteroid Ceres was discovered on January 1, 1801, the same date that Ireland was united with Great Britain, and the event which gives the UK its modern natal horoscope and links Britain to the iconography of Ceres and Venus, associated astrologically with money and valuables.)

Additional Astro-Note: the Bank of England was chartered on July 27, 1694 PDF with a Mutable Grand Cross between Mars, Neptune (opposite one another = shady and misguided), Venus in Gemini opposite Saturn in Sagittarius (out of the mainstream.) Sun and powerful figure of the Underworld, Pluto (aka, the Pope--bowing to goddess Mary!) are rather close in royal Leo with Jupiter in Leo as sidekick and Mercury conjunct a Royal Star of Persia, Regulus; a solar midpoint of the day is wealth-accumulating Jupiter-Pluto = Sun: keeping things in one's own grip--Tyl; the creation of magical effects--Ebertin. Another midpoint picture in 1694 with financial implications is Mars-Uranus = Jupiter: successful contests of strength; a lucky hand in unusual actions--Ebertin; looking to rewards; planning one's future, one's new position in life--Tyl. And they certainly did that, didn't they? These potentials are, I believe, symbolized in last night's ceremony! And notice that in 1694, athletic Mars squared Uranus but in July 2012, Mars and Uranus have only recently begun to move out of orb from their dynamic opposition.) As for July 27, 1694 v 2012, it seems that last evening's opening ceremony also celebrated the 318th birthday of the Bank of England. How curious is that?

So last evening's opening ceremony contained a triple-7: 7 athletes, and 7 nations becoming One symbolized by the 7 lighted copper rose petals, each petal a nation--lighted by the future of Britain--"being lifted up to form one giant flame" (as in, 'one-world-government', the Illuminati vision through the centuries.)

Now no one could miss the implications of a total global financial collapse which began to manifest more fully with the attacks of 9/11/01 on the World Trade Center, then on to Financial Collapse 2008, and, some say, to the next economic collapse which we hear about constantly through a colluding mainstream media, and which is 'inevitable', say they. Certain power elites believe this will cause the world's population to plead for a 'new world order', no matter its character or its harms.

Have you ever checked out Bavarian Illuminati founder Adam Weishaupt, a contemporary of Thomas Jefferson and the boys? His utopian cult was founded on May 1, 1776 and 'loaned' its own mystery symbols for use on America's Great Seal (and dollar bill, thanks for FDR, a Mason.) Weishaupt's longterm objectives may sound quite familiar in 2012 as destructuring Pluto plods through Saturn-ruled Capricorn, sign of government, business, and law. They are:

"(a) Abolition of monarchies and all ordered governments,

(b) Abolition of private property and inheritances,

(c) Abolition of patriotism and nationalism,

(d) Abolition of family life and the institution of marriage, and the establishment of communal education of children,

(e) Abolition of all religion."

Well, I do hope SO'W readers won't be too fussy with me for 'raining' on last night's Parade of Nations by pointing out that what may seem like an entertaining and spectacular opening ceremony of Olympic Games 2012 may actually be much deeper than that as people of the world bow down to a ravenous system which intends them grievous harm.

And yes, DN, I do know that Sir Paul McCartney ended by singing, Hey Jude but I assure you he didn't intend it for me!

More Notes: the Union Jack was magically portrayed in the London audience "as the British flag was hoisted as well by children doing flips on trampolines disguised as hospital beds." This symbolism was to honor the National Health Service of the UK and a popular children's hospital. Peep-eye! Wave to the camera, everyone!

America's natal Mercury-Pluto opposition keeps on developing more and more accurate surveillance techniques and devices, doesn't it? Mercury's eyes with Pluto, associated with the sign Scorpio, of spies and surveillance fame, uses its eagle totem to soar thousands of feet above our heads and watch us like hawks.

And of course, the Mercury-Pluto duo falls across the Cancer (home; security)/Capricorn (control; management) axis as obsessive Pluto plods through Capricorn now on his way toward America's Pluto Return/s of 2022 so perhaps we should keep the Sabian Symbol for US natal Pluto (27Cap33) for '28Cap' in mind as we 'lean forward' into what appears to be morphing into a dystopian future:

Then there's the karmic intent, the symbol for the prior degree--and a mention that these degrees appear at Midheaven (MC = The Goal) in US Inauguration Horoscopes along with US natal Pluto itself:

Pos: total reconciliation of mind and heart in an unquestioned devotion to some worthwhile task at hand; (ex: "winning minds and hearts" by aggressive invasion? killer drones are making that ridiculous propaganda even more ludicrous. jc);

Neg: satisfaction in superficial allegiances and a parade of false virtue.

Apparently, the president's targeted killing list which can include Americans 'believed' to be linked with al Qaeda isn't illegal if we do it but how many of us want Richard Nixon's rationalization for breaking the law staining our national conscience in this way? Well, it already does, "collateral damage" and all. And who knows who will be the next drone-wielding president with his or her ability to play judge, jury, and executioner without even a shred of probable cause or due process?

And what entity will secretly direct said president? Opportunities for abuse of the drone program are multiple--imagine what another neocon war hawk Commander-in-Chief can do--or what another government or group with hacking power can do.

So I suspect the riddle of the transiting Pluto-Chiron midpoint conjoining US Inaugural Sun (the leader; the president) for recent Inauguration ceremonies is now at least partially solved. The combination of Pluto-Chiron and its primal violence, disenfranchisement, oppression, racism, capitalism, totalitarianism, and all manner of other -isms that plague mankind is now revealed in part as the president's killer drones. If you're a target or in the wrong place at the wrong time, can it get more oppressive than that?

Yes, the imperialists' global government plan grinds on and all is done under the auspices of "keeping America safe". Their thinly veiled ruse becomes more threadbare by the minute! Is seems that Inauguration 2013's 10th house Mars (strikes, attacks, violence, war) in detached Aquarius signifies on one level drone strikes ordered by the White House and perpetrated by remote (AQ) control. That the draconian issue is receiving more and more attention in the news is shown by the public 10th house status of Inaugural 2013 Mars.

In fact, The Nation's Greg Mitchell writes about a drone base in Saudi Arabia!

And interestingly, George W. Bush ordered drone strikes while in office beginning in 2004, the year that Pluto paralleled Chiron in mid-August (parallels are like strong conjunctions and are timing devices) after their Great Conjunction in late 1999--conjunct US natal Ascendant in the 'Sibly' horoscope...at '12Sag' = "A Flag Turns Into an Eagle That Crows." Now there's that plutonian eagle again with Dubya acting under the 'authority' of the US flag. And as you know, in late 1999 they were heralding the 'New Millennium' and scaring everyone with the Y2K scenario that was allegedly going to 'end the world as we know it'.

Eye of the Phoenix--Secrets of the Dollar Bill

is a video presentation which has been embedded on SO'W before, but I'm rather cussedly posting it again for your consideration.

Few Americans think about US history involving such characters as astrologer Manly P. Hall and Russian mystic Nicholas Roerich. Yet even if you don't believe that 'occult activities' surrounded the administration of Freemason Franklin D. Roosevelt (among others), the video, which covers up to 1935, contains curiosities which may be viewed as amusing 'entertainment', if you wish:

Solar Eclipses of 1935

The year 1935 is when the pyramid and capstone with the All-Seeing Eye (of surveillance! also called the Eye of Horus, Providence, Phoenix, etc) was placed upon the dollar bill by the FDR administration. It's one of those rare years when 5 Solar Eclipses manifested (along with 2 Lunar Eclipses, listed below.) Let's take a look at the themes of the 5 Solar Eclipses just to get a sense of the background influences and flavors of 1935:

Jan 5, 9 Old North @14Cap: my source, Brady's Predictive Astrology, gives no theme for this Saros Series but we may surmise that Capricornian issues of government, law, and business were ahoof with tones of seriousness, conscientiousness, authority, and a need to "correct wrongful karmic situations and to guide others along the spiritual path." (Rose Lineman);

That 'the path' may be of a Luciferian nature is the question especially since Cap is the sign of The Goat (of Mendes) and is considered a mystical, occult sign containing a labyrinth. Of course, the symbol of the Goat of Mendes is also said to represent wisdom and other more positive things than satanism--yet I know you remember that Dubya was reading My Pet Goat in the classroom when he was informed that the attacks of 9/11/01 had been accomplished;

2. Feb 3, 9 New North @14AQ: sudden physical exertions, accidents, violence. (Last occurred March 19, 2007);

3. June 30, 9 Old South @8Can: falls between US natal Sun and Jupiter--again, no theme listed but in the sign of the sidewinding crab, Cancerian issues are denoted along with the president (Sun, 14Can) and ideology and money supply (our Jupiter at the "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests" degree of 6Can); we may expect potentials to include: security, shrewd business maneuvers, emotional extremes, receptivity and imagination, selfishness (also a typical trait of Capricorn), genealogy, family matters, and fated or karmic ties; Series ended in 1971 @29Can oppposite US natal Pluto in Cap;

4. July 30, New South @6Leo: great yet possibly constructive energy supplied by a Mars-Pluto influence, idealism, and the uniting of loved ones; (last manifested on Sept 11, 2007 @18Vir);

5. Dec 25, 10 North @3Cap: frustrating news, inhibiting events, focus on communications, young people, paperwork; tiring and draining; last manifested on Feb 7, 2008, the year of the Great Bush Depression; next occurs in 2026 @29AQ, near US natal Moon.)

Lunar Eclipses of 1935: Jan 19 @29Cancer and July 26 @23Capricorn, further emphasizing the security and authority axis of Cancer-Capricorn and its ambitious if depressive Moon-Saturn influences. This degree is where karmic Saturn and Pluto meet on January 12, 2020.

Is the American capstone about to be crane-lifted into place with our nation ruling the roost - or, going belly up? America as we've known her now passes quickly since the SARS-Covid pandemic swept so much of our lives and lifestyles away. Actually, the January 2020 Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto made certain of that. Then as you know, the recent Great Conjunction of Jupiter (expansion) and Saturn (restriction) times the beginning of new social, political, economic, and religious orders in the futuristic sign of Aquarius. At 00AQ29, new forms and inventions in Technology, Science, and Space are obviously involved, plus, the conjunction hit US Inaugural Sun, as we've discussed in previous posts, so I won't bore with it now. (For previous posts on such topics, type 'Jupiter-Saturn' in the SO'W sidebar Search field and a list of related posts should pop up.)

Meanwhile, the 'new world order' emblem of 1776 decorates America's currency and the Great Seal, so the conjunction's degree rounded up to "1AQ' = "An Old Adobe Mission," (DURABILITY; Jones) so it's also the Sabian Symbol for US Inaugural Sun (POTUS; Oath of Office) on January 20th - and conjuncts the position of the bold fixed star Altair, the eagle:

As for political considerations, perhaps a few factors in relation to the Jupiter-Saturn duo in the realms of Politics and Business would be of interest bwo the Hegelian Dialectic (create the problem then 'solve' it the way you intended to all along):

'Thesis: The serious side of justice and the law; processes concerning checks and balances; changes in the governmental, religious, or social orders; repression based on morality instituted by law or religion; an expansion within the rocks in the ground.

Antithesis: Too many restrictions on the operation of justice; a judicial system at its breaking point; pessimism about the ability of the police to control lawbreakers; leniency and harshness vie for balance within the overall social and economic systems.'

You'll note the inclusion of a geology reference with Saturn ruling stones and rocks, techtonic plates, soil, and the Earth herself, and astrological Jupiter's expansion function increasing whatever he touches with his 'slippery slope' self.

Still, as I always remind myself, the yin-yang tension between Jupiter and Saturn make them the 'flywheel of the Universe' which keeps all the planets orbiting in their courses!

Of Rosy Glows, Dragons Fought, and Thomas Jefferson

St. George and the red cross are emblems used by many countries, regions, organizations, and entities through the centuries, including medieval times. Today the modern 'Red Cross' organization is a well known example of its use as a symbol or logo and the 'rosy cross' of 'Rosicrucianism' represents a secret organization that favors a mythical beast that is seldom if ever glimpsed by non-members. Yes, the Banner of St. George was notable (and one supposes inspiring) at the Battle of Agincourt and yet my current fuss is this: precisely why is a flag or banner with a red cross on a white field prominently displayed in the following painting of a tableaux of Thomas Jefferson's presentation to Congress of the completed Declaration of Independence? You see the red cross floating over Jefferson's head so is this a wordless message revealed via symbol? For one thing, Jefferson's effects after his death (on July 4, 1826) included a Rosicrucian decoder intended to read and write secret messages. And yet it was Great Britain where Rosicrucianism became uppermost, with Templar Freemasonry sprouting and growing wildly in the New World of America (though some say the two brotherhoods united at some point).

Here are details on John Trumbull's famous painting, above, of the moment Thomas Jefferson presented the first draft of the Declaration of Independence to John Hancock, president of the Second Continental Congress, on June 28, 1776. Last I heard, the 12' x 18' masterpiece hangs in the Rotunda of the Capitol Building. Standing with Mr. Jefferson are John Adams, Roger Sherman, Robert Livingston, and Benjamin Franklin.

Now as you know, Mr. Jefferson was a quiet man who whispered and stuttered when he spoke, and keeping secrets was a natural inclination for such a man particularly when involvement in certain activities could forfeit you your fortune and your life. Perhaps wisely, Jefferson never admitted actual membership in any secret society that I know of but we can surmise his knowledge of principles, plus, Monticello sported paintings of the three men whose intellect he admired most: Bacon, Newton, and Locke.

So I confess that there are times when the idea of an alleged "Book of Secrets" that's said to be for very few eyes suggests to me that whatever American secrets there be are totally different from what we've been propagandized through the centuries to believe about our Platonian, Utopian nation, the only country ever founded upon an ideal. From capstones, hollowed out crevices in cornerstones, and whatever is secreted under DC's Ellipse, to that infamous "Book", We the People surely must have stunning revelations ahead of us if Bacon's Vision is ever fully revealed. We may not like it but there it is.

Now with the recently denied potential of electing the first woman president, I had speculated that if such a thing happened, it could be symbolized by flipping over America's Great Seal in order to bring the more esoteric, unconscious symbols on the reverse more fully into our conscious minds. You know--the 13-step 'pyramid of power' which relates symbolically to the Midheaven degree and sign (on or about 26 Capricorn these days) in America's inaugural horoscopes (January 20th noon Capitol Building) -- the area of the Zodiac where Pluto in Capricorn now creeps. Plus, a late Capricorn MC places US natal Pluto Rx there as well along with America's progressed Pluto at 29 Capricorn, a critical or crisis 29th degree (as is 26 Cap). On Inauguration Day/s, our opposing Mercury Rx at IC echoes, along with sneaky Pluto at MC, the whisper of a nation of secrets, spies, hidden rulers, and a veiled mission.

And since Pluto was discovered in 1930, let's go ahead and say that when Freemason President Franklin Roosevelt had Inauguration Day changed from early March to January 20th (March 1933 to January 1937), he knew exactly what he was doing and what would eventually happen: transit Pluto in Capricorn ('the dictator') would hit the highest, most visible spot in US inaugural horoscopes, the Midheaven, the point of Goals and Aspirations...the pinnacle of worldly power, we might call it...and this would symbolically signify a display (MC) of might and Empire (Pluto in Cap) meant to be seen worldwide across the globe and denote Saturnian control (Capricorn) of the Earth itself.

How quirky that someone has selected a braggart nationalist like Mr. Trump to implement the final stages of Global Government when that's just the kind of thing he campaigned against! Perhaps he's only intended to corral Americans into place while continuing the destruction of the US Constitution that stands in the way of open borders and worldwide corporatism...they've already dispensed with the Constitution in the realms of habeas corpus, preemptive war, and brutal suppression of peaceful protest.

So here is another question: wonder if the Utopian society the Founding Fathers envisioned bares any resemblance at all to the crap government that anarchists have been busy downgrading America to? Because with Trump losing the popular vote on November 8th, consent of the governed is totally missing as is 'a mandate' for president-elect Trump and his austere sidekick, the boo-worthy Mr. Pence of Indiana.

"America Unearthed", three NYC Obelisks, and the Belt Stars of Orion

The topic of tonight's episode of America Unearthed relates to some of the subjects discussed from time to time here on Stars Over Washington particularly concerning the three stars in Orion's Belt, the Statue of Liberty, and Freemasonry in America.

America Unearthed showed its host, forensic geologist Scott Wolter, on a hunt for information about the three Egyptian obelisks located in New York City. These are situated in Central Park (see link just below), St. Paul's Chapel, or Church, and the Flatiron Building.

Related is a page of the official Central Park website which gives a few details concerning the Egyptian obelisk (aka, Cleopatra's Needle) from Thutmose III's temple in Heliopolis and delivered to Central Park, paid for and the Central Park site selected by the very wealthy William Vanderbilt.

The other two obelisks in NYC are located at St. Paul's Chapel (Church) where George Washington attended when in New York and the building of which Pierre L'Enfant, initial designer of DC (along with Andrew Ellicott), was architect in part. The third location is at the Flatiron Building (175 Fifth Avenue) where the obelisk honors General William Worth, a New Yorker who served as the Secretary of War for Texas and is the namesake of the city of Fort Worth.

Orion, Sirius, and Venus with a Multitude of Names

Now in the heavens, the three stars of Orion's Belt point toward Sirius, the home of goddess Isis in Egyptian mythology, and many people believe that the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau line up with the belt stars (though perhaps in reverse order--is it conclusive yet?) The ancient figure of Orion, the hunter, is god Osiris in Egyptian star lore, plus, constellation Orion is an archetype of the Immortal God, our Creator. In fact, some religious folk teach that Christ's Second Coming will be from the direction of Orion's Belt, an area of the sky which is sometimes identified as a 'star portal', a concept that actually tallies with Scriptural teachings, imho.

So, lined up upon the earth with Orion's Belt Stars as they seem to be, what are the three obelisks in NYC pointing toward in similar fashion? Why, the harbor and the Statue of Liberty, that feminine goddess of Venus-Isis fame created and brought to America by the Grand Orient Freemasons of France. You'll note France's past fascination with Egyptian pyramids and antiquities a la Napoleon Bonaparte, another of the world's 'new world order' visionaries as was Hitler.

Now as you may or may not know, I spend considerable time researching the connection between the founding of America and its occult roots which include such topics as Fixed Stars, the planning and construction of the District of Columbia (the 'Federal City'), and the Federal Triangle marked by the White House (a Masonic lodge), the Capitol Building (architecturally a Masonic temple if there ever was one), and the Washington Monument (built in the form of an obelisk itself). Regarding the Federal Triangle, it's a lesson in As Above, So Below: the White House = Arcturus, the Capitol Building = Regulus, and the Washington Monument = Spica ('the spike'; for obvious phallic reasons 'the spike' signifies George, the Father of Our Country, though curiously he doesn't seem to have physically fathered even one offspring of his own).

All three edifices and many others in Washington DC had their cornerstones and/or foundation stones laid in Masonic ceremonies by the Freemasons of the day--George Washington in apron, for one. Plus, triangles, 5-pointed stars, wheat sheafs, circles and squares, and other Masonic symbols and designs appear on and inside various official buildings and monuments and statues across the city along with horoscopes and references to constellation Virgo and its stars. Venus, Isis, Osiris, and the stars of constellation Pleiades are also represented in Washington, and perhaps you know of other starry symbols strewn about the capital city. America's Great Seal is one of the spots we find such occult symbolism with its design based on the Bavarian Illuminati seal of Adam Weishaupt (May 1776) heralding the coming of a 'new order'. The pyramid (a triangle) and the All-Seeing Eye of Providence (or, of Horus,) are found upon the dollar bill, thanks to Franklin D. Roosevelt (1935).

Speaking of a 'new order'--one of the potentials of the current transit of revolutionary Uranus (new order) in Aries opposing US natal Saturn (old order, the status quo, the established system) in mid-Libra, let's close with a reference to an interesting book that relates closely to current events as we watch the implementation of a global police state being manifested in the US and so obviously in France, as I type.

The book (1958) is Arthur Schlesinger, Jr's, The Coming of the New Deal 1933--1935, 2nd in his trilogy concerning Freemason FDR, in which he opens with a quote from ace political strategist Machiavelli and closes with words from H.G. Wells, the Fabian Socialist:

Machiavelli: "There is nothing...more dangerous to handle, than to initiate a new order of things."

H.G. Wells, described FDR as, "The most effective transmitting instrument possible for the coming of the new world order. He is continuously revolutionary in the new way without ever provoking a stark revolutionary crisis."

How suitable for FDR's natal Uranus rising in Virgo! This is the kind of information that makes FDR's presidency and New Deal programs sound extremely well-devised as one part of a long term plan, don't you think? Which to me makes the current divide-and-conquer monkeyshines in Washington via such tactics as 'R vs D' and 'conservative vs liberal' sound like a bunch of media claptrap meant only to deceive We The People and divert our attention from solving the real problems now faced by the American people. My advice to anyone who asks is to consider what actually results from what politicians say and don't say, do and don't do for most often it is just what they and their secret supporters intended all along.

But a populist common-gooder with Revolutionary ancestors such as yours truly probably would feel just that way, now wouldn't she?

Now if you mosey over to Celestial Space you'll find Dipali Desai's details and insights concerning Monday's Full Moon @00AQ05 which conjoins the degree of the US Inaugural Sun (the president) and which denotes a fulfillment or culmination (Full Moon), or at least, an awareness of something relating to the White House and/or its presidential endeavors and relationships.

Will more inconvenient secrets be revealed under the rays of Monday's Full Moon which also conjoins President Obama's natal Jupiter Rx? Well, in addition, transiting Mercury Rx, planet of reporters, young people, messages, orations, trade, commerce, travel, and plans, now sits atop US natal Sun as you read this!

Yes, for a Political Astrology blog, the above is a very general assessment of the July 22nd solar-lunar synchronicity of the Full Moon in the humanitarian sign of Aquarius (the water-bearer), I know, but honestly--who knows precisely what plans are afoot, on the drawing board, or being implemented as I type? For after all, there are a lot of secret spaces underneath the fortified White House building where all manner of hidden-from-the-public activities take place. And it is a white lodge as well.

If you're feeling a might on the occult side today, you may wish to investigate The Sirius Mystery and Freemasonry's Great White Lodge. The Dog Star, Sirius, is intimately connected to the natal chart and founding of America and in recent years the star has precessed in the Zodiac to conjoin US natal Sun @14Cancer. Sirius worship in ancient Egypt is well-known, too, as are the pyramid with its all-seeing eye in the floating capstone in American iconography of the Great Seal and the dollar bill. Plus, there's also Freemasonry's Blue Lodge, if you wish to explore.

One thing we may wish to do now is to review the Sabian Symbol (rounded up) which represents the US Inaugural Sun (the elected president): '1AQ" = "An Old Adobe Mission" (Jones; Rudhyar adds, --"in California".)

DURABILITY (Jones); THE CONCRETIZATION OF AN IDEAL (Rudhyar); Jones gives this symbol's positive expression as: effective breadth of vision and a respect-compelling depth of character; negative (unconscious/shadow side--jc): lack of ambition and blind adherence to superficialities.

Perhaps by the degree's 'lack of ambition' you can tell why it's always seemed to me that the karmic degree and symbol just prior to 1AQ may be more descriptive of American presidents as they alone allegedly 'helm' the US government:

'30Cap' = "A Secret Business Conference"--OPPORTUNITY (Jones); "A Secret Meeting of Men Responsible for Executive Decisions in World Affairs"--EXECUTIVE POWER (Rudhyar.)

Jones' positive expression for '30Cap': a gift for clever planning and successful administration in every area of life; negative (unconscious/shadow side): rampant selfishness and rank exploitation of others.

And of course, the Illumination Point (opposite degree) of 30Cap is 30Cancer: "A Daughter of the American Revolution" which is the degree and symbol opposite this reluctant astrologer's natal Mars! Maybe that's one reason why these Washington DC varmints intrigue me so--that, and the idea that to dissent is as American as it gets!

Disruptions, shocks, or upsets may occur. And when unmodulated by aspects from other planets, quirky Uranus's energies are difficult for any individual to handle and denotes one who acts independently of outside influences, is restless, nervous, and discontent.
