As you know, Generation Z, aka, Zoomers, are those born from 1997 to 2012 - "The Future Innovators." Well, obviously, innovation is the last thing the Republican Party wants since regression and backward time travel are major features of their authoritarian agenda of dystopian oppression and misogyny.

Yes, Zoomers are being targeted by Republican operatives because even the entity called the GOP realizes that younger Americans (who will live in the future) will vote in droves in November 2024 for candidates with progressive policies, aka, beneficial ones, rather than settle for the crabbiness, corruption, and greed of low-charactered GOPers, whether indicted yet or not.

So with the multiple GOP tactics, both known and, so far, unknown, such as purging voter rolls (Pluto, planet of purges) they hope to sway Election 2024 their crabby way. Regressives demand a Past vs Future struggle as if clocks can be turned back!

And so we may wish to consider any cosmic predictors (As Above, So Below) that we can find in order to forewarn and forearm American voters of all ages. And we all must do what we can to sound the alarm against regressive Trumpianism and Fascism while taking whatever defensive actions possible in order to avoid America being turned into a dictatorship. In other words, the threat is real: Vote Blue in 2024!

Note to GOP: Time Advances Forward, Never Backward!

Now if you as an American, agree, read on. If you disagree, then you're probably in the wrong country and are reading someone else's Unsealed Letter.

Then there's the fact that transit Pluto of primal violence fame has already inched a twisted hoof temporarily into progressive Aquarius back in December 2020, and Mr. Transformation will be residing in Aquarius in time for Inauguration 2025 - but will still stomp on 29Capricorn for Election 2024, with 29 a critical/crisis degree of impatience. But with Pluto in Aquarius, we may expect more folks to express a communal sense than before. And yet we know that the depressingly long sojourn of Pluto in Capricorn, the cosmic marker for The Dictator (R. Ebertin), is fading as I type even as effects of our three-fer US Pluto Return all through 2022 will be with our nation going forward including the US Mercury-Pluto opposition of 1776 and the surveillance state its energies made possible.

One reliable cosmic marker for Election 2024 is its prior New Moon, a lunation that can affect earthly events like a Solar Eclipse and in a similar disruptive fashion as radical planet Uranus often does. Changes of direction are suggested and secrets may be revealed, so Election 2024's Predictive New Moon Prior is worth keeping an eye on.

Venus in Sagittarius on Election Day 2024

As a lifelong fan of Democracy and cheerleader for the continuation of our Republic as a sovereign nation, it isn't easy to admit that on Election Day 2024, Venus in Sagittarius is prepared to bestow the crown of victory upon the incumbent's rival, whomever she, he, or it may be. This unfortunate factoid is strongly suggested by Venus in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius, for it is the sign of the stranger, the outsider, the foreigner (the placement of Venus in 2016). But note that Venus Cycle predictions have been accurate for most US presidential elections, although not for all, so that's something to keep in mind along with other cosmic predictors such as the New Moon Prior to the election. Plus, who would deny that cheating naturally interferes with election results in unpredictable ways.

Note: perhaps many readers know where I'm 'coming from' on such topics because, as I've previously shared, my uncles fought Nazis in WWII and I have Revolutionary War ancestors. From such shared pro-America sentiments, I surmise that none of my ancestors or family members could possibly have expected after all their sacrifices that America could be so viciously shoved toward totalitarianism and, for women, would be morphed into soul-denying handmaidenism by theocrats and dominionists with political power and Biblical law on their scheming minds. Such reforms would represent an anti-constitutional blending of Church and State which is not one of America's founding principles, as you well know. It would be an antithesis, in fact, and a total reversal of previous plans.

So! Prior to Election Day 2024, it may be worth considering a few things about Venus in Sagittarius, if that's okay with you, dear reader, with astrological Venus representing the attraction principle, and Sagittarius a mutable Fire sign. First, the mutable quality provides a measure of instability to the planet of relationships while denoting hypersentivity and a strong wishing power which may or not pan out in reality. Or if does pan out, the results may be temporary, even chaotic. And of course, Sagittarius and its opposite sign of Gemini have much to do with ethics, morals, and belief systems - and on a political level, with attempts to force them upon other people (as if morality or an uncluttered conscience can be legislated!). In other words, this placement of Venus indicates religious or ideological proselytizing, much of which is done through misinformation, aka, propaganda.

Reaching for Something Positive Here

These cosmic circumstances could be fortunate for incumbent candidates' victories since the confusion, recounts, and/or fraudulent activities in recent years surrounding US elections could turn out differently than a Sag Venus expects or prefers. (This would be on the presidential level, but may also affect down-ballot elections.) Plus, Blue Waves or Tsunamis of voters have been known to sway elections toward Democrats and, considering all the election 'preparations' such as voter suppression and voter roll purges and caging that Republicans have set in motion, I'm thinking that a Blue Tsunami may be the only factor that will make a large enough difference in 2024 for those of us who are determined to keep intact our Republic along with some measure of democratic governance.

In closing, we should also consider that a Sagittarian Venus tends to scatter her energies which suggests taking on too much at once. And if you've ever done that yourself, you know that multi-tasking means that nothing turns out as well as it could have, and that a possibility exists for oversized efforts to collapse under their own weight.

Hungary, Orban, Bannon, Eclipses, and US Elections

Warning Signals from The Cosmos 2022 and Beyond

His Wikipedia bio gives basic details concerning Hungary's Viktor Orban, creator of the "mafia state" kleptocracy that afflicts today's Hungary, and political idol of America's far-right Republican Party of regressive zealots. This style of government is what some are now calling "soft fascism," a term that provides no comfort for freedom-loving Americans who reject the barbaric dystopian Utopianism determined to destroy civilization as we know it.

As for the 2022 Midterm Elections and the Presidential Election of 2024, perhaps you're heard that Steve Bannon is calling for "shock troops" to "deconstruct state" as the GOP 'takes over' in 2024 - he's pre-activating this idea and organizing or planning to organize MAGA-style 'shock troops' to take over federal agencies immediately after the 2024 Elections. And brazenly, Fox News talking head Tucker Carlson broadcasted his show for a week from Hungary in August 2021. (See chart details for Hungary, below.)

Well, if the Venus Cycle has anything to say about Election Day 2024, Venus will be in Sagittarius, sign of the stranger or the outsider which suggests that the victor in 2024 will be of the rival party and not a member of the incumbent party. Sorry to type this, but there it is - unless various factors, planetary and earthly, combine to seriously interfere with the outcome (there have been a couple of exceptions). And yes, this outcome unfortunately makes sense considering all the 'prep work' Republicans are doing to assure control.

Now as you know, there are two eclipses that directly influence the 2022 Midterms and one is the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus perfecting on that very election day, November 8, 2022. Plus, the Solar Eclipse Saros Series ('PE') that the 2022 Midterms fall into is the same series as the 'Nazis Rise to Power Eclipse' of 1932 (@8Virgo) - only this time a 6 South Eclipse will manifest on October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio with themes of 'being forceful, taking power' and 'sudden events' via 'manic energy in group activities' (paraphrasing B. Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad).

So as I've typed previously about such signposts on the way to naz*ism, America is being warned by the Cosmos via a cosmic blink! - which gives Washington DC time for democratic forces in the US to organize some form of shock troops of their (our!) own if America as a democratic Republic is to survive the 'subversion of security agencies' (Munkasey) by what amounts to a global criminal network of mobsters and thieves as described in Astrology by the titanic duo of Neptune-Pluto = organized crime (ex: "mafia state"); plans for mutual destruction; and, the occult.

Then perhaps the question should be: Do the real power players of Washington DC lurking behind the political thespians who play-act 'Politics' for public consumption have "plans for mutual destruction" - do they actually want to fight against such a draconian take-over of America - or has The Utopian Take-Over Plan, in fact, been their baby all along?

Astro-Notes on The 2004 Transit of Venus and an Unfaithful Donald Trump

The last Transit of Venus (passing across the Sun from Earth's vantage point) occurred on June 5 and 6, 2012 and is the last Venus Transit of the 21st century. For as you know, Venus Transits occur in pairs every 243 years, 8 years apart and separated by gaps of 121.5 years and 105.5 years. Follow the above Wikipedia link for more details about this rare, scientifically significant, cosmic occultation.

Yet the focus of this post is the 'partner' of the 2012 Transit which occurred on June 8, 2004 so if we check out 2004 in US Politics, we find war criminals Dubya Bush and Dick Cheney in the White House overseeing America's oil-and-poppy grabbing Middle Eastern adventurism in which no WMDs were found - but ancient artifacts were looted from the Iraq Museum. However, the good news is that apparently, 17,000 of the looted artifacts have been returned to where they belong. We might also note that Bush and Cheney were "re-elected" on November 2, 2004 - and that the Venus Cycle (4 and 8 years) forms a background of cosmic influences upon the US Presidential Election Cycle. Not the only one or the only influence on elections, of course, but there it is.

Now to calculate the 2004 Transit of Venus Horoscope, below, my astrology software and I can only manage an exact conjunction of Sun and Venus which, as you see, occurred at 17Gem53:34 at 4:43 am edt (Washington DC: ASC 00Gem13 conjunct Alcyone (keyphrase: something to cry about). Please note that the bi-wheel image shows the 2004 chart surrounding the natal chart of Herr Tr*mp:

Meanwhile, various events in the US during 2004 are listed here. June 2004 events include the resignation of CIA Director George Tenet on June 3rd, the passing of Ronald Reagan, age 93, on June 5th (funeral June 11th, a beloved fellow to many), and the Sea Island, Georgia G-8 Summit ('8' one of Venus' numbers) which then included Russia but as you know, Putin and the Kremlin were kicked out of the group in 2014 due to aggression against Ukraine.

Now since Tr*mp's ambitious dreams of power and control were simmering in the background of 2004 with his alleged foreign connections well underway by then, it seems significant to me that the 2004 Transit of Venus perfected directly upon his natal 10th house Uranus (17Gem53) which happens to be his oriental or guiding planet, with Uranian chaos and disruption being his favored way to do business, as we know. Plus, because erratic Uranus suggests reactionary politics, radical reforms, abrupt changes, unusual contacts or associations, or even zealotry and anarchy - if We The People didn't realize the radical political nature of Tr*mp in 2004, we certainly have seen and experienced such 'wild' and disruptive behavior demonstrated in the last few years, culminating with his terrorist attack on the Legislative branch of government on January 6, 2021 (with more to come).

Yet let's not spotlight only Russia and, by extension, Ukraine, in the Trump saga because two references to China appear in his natal chart, as perhaps you've previously noticed: the Sabian Symbols for his Uranus (18Gemini) and for his natal Moon (22Sagittarius) which are penned on the left of the chart, highlighted in orange. Curiously, one symbol (word picture) sounds like foreign spies having a cozy chat together ('unusual contacts and associations'), and the other = "A Chinese Laundry". He's said to be a dedicated money launderer, you know, and the global criminal underworld surrounds and supports him.

So as you see, transit Pluto in the chart conjuncts his natal Sag Moon so we know 2004 was a time of intense emotional turmoil and fear, being manipulated and controlled, and even overpowered (see lower left corner), plus, potentials of the period included trouble in personal relationships, difficult family matters, and issues of financial empowerment or theft.

Simultaneously, Pluto opposed his Gemini Sun suggesting a time of no-compromise situations (an offer he could't refuse?), threats of devastating consequences made, plus, his ego could have been defeated in a contest of wills against more powerful Plutonian forces. Of course, that's spymaster Pluto of the hidden hand, the manipulative planet of extreme wealth and perhaps ringleader of a criminal syndicate.

Plus, transit Pluto to South Node, a Saturnian point indicating the past, supports the idea of threats to his or his family's personal security, and possibly that he had met with these or other Plutonian figures before (SN).

Then if we view the 2004 Venus Transit Horoscope as one of simple planetary contacts for Tr*mp, Venus conjunct his natal Uranus hints that unusual or nontraditional contacts and alliances occurred along with relationship break-ups, while any threats to his ego probably dissipated rather quickly (as they would have if he accepted 'the offer'). His fabled lack of loyalty was activated (or utilized) and he received attention that made him feel 'special' (bwo Venusian flattery and financial promises) although group participation would have been a bit more difficult than usual for this odd Uranian loner and dictator-wanna-be.

Additionally, a general mention should be made of potentials within the Venus-Uranus pair and the associated tendencies toward extravagance, love of luxury, wastefulness, eccentricity, unfaithfulness, self-willedness in love, temporary liaisons, and sudden separations. And of course, he was born a rebellious, quirky Sun-Uranus kind of guy, an original, tendencies which were spotlighted or enhanced by the transiting Sun @17Gem53 and suggesting public contacts and meetings via his Gemini North Node.

Now in closing, here's a vintage SO'W post concerning this Venusian topic from way back in 2012: Horrocks First Views a Venus Transit in 1639 which provided more accuracy to measurements of our Solar System than observations had ever provided before. A Cosmic Event in 2024 plus a Presidential Election!

6 South, 8 North, 8 South Eclipses: 'Cosmic Blinks' and Universal 'Wild Cards'

By now most all have heard that another Total "Great American Eclipse" is due on April 8, 2024 (@19Ari24), an even longer-lasting Total Solar Eclipse than the one that occurred on August 21, 2017 in the 1 North Saros Series @29Leo - a critical 29th degree conjunct royal Regulus and the Ascendant and Mars rising of 'comrade' Trump. So you see, the Election isn't the only significant 2024 event in America, one being earthly, the other cosmic - in fact, a Universal 'wild card' as they're known because eclipses often disrupt and change directions of earthly events much as erratic planet Uranus can do. And as you know, such energies are most potent when a total eclipse occurs especially in the Path of Totality.

Q: Will a 'cosmic link' from the 8 North cosmic blink of an eclipse form? Read on!

Note: for practical details on where and how the April 2024 Path of Totality will rush across the country from Southwest to Northeast, one resource is the WordPress blog National Eclipse. The 2024 eclipse will enter the US from Mexico into Texas, swipe across several major cities (more cities than 1 North in 2017), and leave the US from the state of Maine. The longest duration of totality will be 4m 28S compared with 2m 40s in 2017 and will occur in Mexico.

Of historic interest, the last 4-minute Total Eclipse to occur over our present-day contiguous states was over 200 years ago on June 16, 1806 @24Gem44 so this one in 2024 will be a big deal and well attended unless the unpredictable, frosty weather of early April interferes, especially in the Northern states and over various lakes such as Lakes Erie and Ontario. Crazily, the eclipse's 24Gem44 position conjuncts that of Trump's June 16, 2015 'Prez Bid' New Moon ('25Gemini' = "A Man Trimming Palms.") Who can forget his escalator descent that morning and the bigoted rhetoric delivered to a paid-to-attend audience and, of course, to TV cameras? Therefore, this creates a cosmic link - by degree. Plus you know that if potent enough, New Moons can behave similarly to solar eclipses.

6 South Eclipse Themes Affected Events of 1806

Now the 1806 eclipse is aka, Tecumseh's Eclipse and fell into the 6 South Saros Series. I believe its themes resonate with Shawnee Chief Tecumseh's travails and conflicts with the ever-increasing number of European settlers with 6 South's themes of: 'manic energy; being forceful, taking power; sudden events; great strength or force in relationships; huge efforts in group activities' (paraphrasing Predictive Astrology, B. Brady; #ad).

However, we should note that the The Great American Eclipse of 2024 falls into the 8 North Saros Series with themes of 'flashes of genius; vivid dreams' but it is not the Prenatal Eclipse of Election Day 2024. That honor belongs to the 8 South Eclipse of October 2, 2024 @10Libra03 with its difficult themes of 'separation; partings; loss; completion; over-strain with a potential for physical injury' (Brady). You may remember that the last 8 South occurred on September 22, 2006 @29Virgo during the wrong-headed Bush-Cheney neocon regime. Check out historical events of 2006 for more information.

Prior to The Great American Eclipse of 2024 Other Eclipses Will Manifest

So as we've previously discussed on SO'W, a Solar Eclipse in the 6 South Saros Series will manifest soon on October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio (DC Horoscope shown) and had done so multiple times before since the initial eclipse of March 6, 1049 @21Pis55. And notably, a 6 South eclipse manifested prominently as what I call the Nazis Rise to Power Eclipse on August 31, 1932 @8Vir09.

And here in closing is the question: Will a Herr Trump candidacy and 'presidency' 'eclipse' America once again in 2024 as he did in 2017 with "MAGA" madness (aka, white supremacy) or some other political slogan intended to deceive? Well, that would create an unfortunate cosmic link from the 2024 8 North Eclipse to the next presidential election, wouldn't it?

US Election Day November 5, 2024: Portents of Venus in Sagittarius

Friday July 9, 2021: First we should note that a multitude of earth-based social and political factors will affect the final results of the 2024 Presidential Election and quite a few astrologers poo poo the Venus Cycle theory of US elections. However, to me the Venus Cycle seems one of the more basic influences upon who wins and who loses the coveted White House position. The 'goddess' does, after all, reign atop the US Capitol Building and one of her archetypal manifestations as "Columbia" is well known as namesake of the District. Certainly, Venus is no stranger to or in Washington, DC.

Therefore, today I'm plopping the Venus Cycle effect upon US election cycles back into the discourse of SO'W with an eye toward November 5, 2024 when Venus will be in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius and future references to the 2024 Election will certainly turn up here on SO'W and elsewhere as time flees on.

So here is an excerpt (with a few small edits for clarity) from a previous post written in light of the 2016 Election but with portents that may (or may not) affect the results of Election 2024:

Now as Morning Star, election day Venus favors the incumbent candidate or ruling party (even if 2 terms--8 years-- have been served by the incumbent president) - aka, the "one who wears the crown" as it was termed in the olden days of Mundane Astrology. The Morning Star status of Venus occurs in November (2nd through 8th, when presidential elections are held) when 'the lady' is in the early degrees of Libra, one of the signs Venus rules. Since our elections are on a 4-year cycle, Venus is Evening Star in alternate elections because Venus returns to her same position every 8 years. As Evening Star, her position is the mid-to-later degrees of Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius, sign of the stranger, foreigner, or outsider - someone different or 'other' who acts as the challenger and rival to the throne - such as a non-politician, or an Independent (neither Republican nor Democrat).

But in her Evening Star role, Venus bestows favor upon the incumbent party's rival as if she's wielding influence in the court of a king and 'the crown' is given to the opponent of the ruling king. Yet there have been two notable exceptions to this predictive guide: the successful election of Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1932 when he whisked away 'the crown' from the head of one-term Republican Herbert Hoover, and the election of Republican Ronald Reagan in 1980 who finagled 'the crown' from one-term Democrat Jimmy Carter. Both elections occurred with Venus as Morning Star (in Libra) yet upsets somehow occurred due in part to both candidates' tendencies to hastily give favors to others and/or make advantageous backroom deals (Iran hostages boosted Reagan; for Hoover, his tide of popularity had turned due to economics after 1929.)

Even so, let's not use the word 'cheating' though I will say that cheating isn't winning, it's stealing. Plus, a fed-up American public can make a difference as well for if we show up and vote in a landslide it's more difficult for operatives to finagle outcomes their way and against We The People's wishes.

But facing facts as this Saturnian astrologer prefers to do, we know that in 2021 the GOP is busy making a 2024 landslide for Democrats more difficult via repressive voting reforms in various states so that it will take an even larger landslide than ever before if we wish to best the nazi-loving cheaters of 2024. And that also goes for Midterms 2022!

Is Election 2020's New Moon Prior Predictive?

Attempting a Realistic Look at Election Day 2020 via its Prior New Moon in Libra

As you know, the Electoral College Votes on December 14, 2020 after the popular votes are cast (and possibly 'flipped' or somehow tossed into File 13) on November 3, 2020.

One predictive method for determining the outcome of an election's popular vote is a consideration of the New Moon Prior to the election--in this case, it's the New Moon of October 16, 2020 @23lib53 which perfects at 3:30:54 pm edt (Washington DC) with 15AQ26 rising and 3Sag29 at Midheaven (The Goal and Career Point). And as the Cosmos would have it, the October 16, 2020 New Moon Horoscope's Midheaven sports the natal Ascendant of Joe Biden but before Democrats grow too giddy, Election 2020's North Node @21Gemini points directly toward Trump's natal North-Node-Sun conjunction in his 10th house, his natal Uranus @17Gem53 chaotically guiding the throng.

(Note that the 2020 New Moon Prior culminates @8Tau38 with a Boo! at the Full Moon of October 31, 2020.)

Now there are several predictive techniques for reading a New Moon Prior to Election Horoscope and for an overview of them I direct you to E. Alan Meece's new book Horoscope for the New Age for full details including both favorable and unfavorable aspects for getting oneself elected.

But briefly for this post, it's a negative for a candidate if the election is held contemporaneously with her/his Saturn Return, and, disruptive Uranus near the Nadir of the New Moon Prior chart denotes upset for the incumbent party. My preliminary study of the New Moon Prior chart, plus natal charts of the top candidates, shows that changeable Uranus Rx @9Tau17 is in 3rd house (Washington DC) near the Nadir (and the IC) but is closer to Nadir when the Equal House system is employed. (I tend to use Placidus which gives 3Gem29 at IC, Biden's natal Descendant degree.)

Therefore, can unpredictable Uranus end the residency of the current occupant of the White House based on New Moon Prior Horoscope indications?

If so, it must be in spite of Election 2020's North Node conjunct Trump's natal Sun and what is basically a Nodal Return for him (public contacts, new alliances). This, plus Election Day's Moon-North-Node conjunction (which can denote union or estrangement!) may indicate that the public (North Node) and America's future direction (North Node) favor Trump (public Moon to his Sun-NN) yet more study is needed to make an assessment--and even then a definitive answer may not result. Because, besides the fact that Astrology can't tell us everything, my personal feeling is that too much election cheating and gerrymandering of districts occur these days to have confidence in election outcome predictions via Astrology. Plus, there are difficulties awaiting us in Election 2020's Prenatal Solar Eclipse Horoscope (4 North) with its themes of, "restriction, illusions, restraints, separation, and obstacles; strengths or the situation are prone to misjudgment; best advice: wait until the eclipse passes before taking any real action." (Brady's Predictive Astrology).

Well, we can't wait because November 3, 2020 is Election Day in the US assuming that all goes as planned. And the fact that voting planet Mercury @25Lib53 at station begins the day in retrograde motion but turns Direct at 12:49:33 pm edt is significant of such potentials as minds being changed, results delayed, and/or votes being mysteriously 'flipped' by partisan cheaters, paid operatives, and/or foreign hackers. Additionally, the sign of Venus, her cycle associated with the US Election Cycle, is in Libra (8:27--8:40) which predicts victory for the incumbent party. Sorry to type this indicator but there it is. If Venus were in Sagittarius in November 2020 as in November 2016, this would indicate an upset by an outsider, aka, victory for the rival candidate.

Now again I ask myself, is Uranus in conservative Taurus at Nadir enough to upset the outcome of the 2020 Election according to the New Moon Prior Horoscope and in conflict with Venus in Libra? Several cosmic factors go against the 'sky god' planet's interference on November 3, 2020 but the planet's shocking, electrical qualities may suddenly surprise us all especially since Donald Trump must first navigate the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction of January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 conjunct his natal Vertex (of fated encounters and changing work conditions) which times a peak in the cycles of karmic Saturn and Pluto as they oppose and balefully scrutinize Trump's natal 11th house Saturn in watery Cancer.

So with both Saturn and Pluto opposing his natal Saturn--already within orb (and later, opposing natal Venus affecting relationships, finances, and legal matters)--a negative period arrives when Trump may feel regret over his past actions and crimes--if only because (hopefully!) he's being held accountable for them for the first time in his life. Restrictions and a lack of freedom will chafe, structures or systems he's depended on will be significantly altered (will his network of mobster supporters jump ship?), his authority will be successfully challenged by higher powers (powerful Pluto 'trumps' Saturn!), and he must accept whatever losses, failures, and disappointments come his way.

Of course, negative karma must eventually have its way, but what I most dislike about this negative period for Trump is that its portents and conditions relate to our nation as well. Yes, he's a rubbish POTUS, I agree, but he's the one who's been playing the role unless and until he resigns from office, is somehow removed, or goes belly up in a natural sort of way. Then our nation would fall under the yoke of theocrat Pence, a hideous possibility for those of us who prefer America's principle of a Wall of Separation between Church and State a la President Thomas Jefferson's letter of January 1, 1802 to the Danbury Baptist Association. Yes, I am a Protestant Christian--one who prefers to worship and follow my faith when and how my conscience pleases--with no orders from the White House, theocrat or secular. No matter any American's faith or lack of it, we're all accustomed to religious freedom and will tragically long for it if political theocrats and dominionists manage to toss it into the dust bin of history. Yet you can't legislate morality but tell that to the GOP.

So! However things turn out in November and December 2020 (via popular and electoral votes), this particular Child of the Revolution is eager for We The People to begin rebuilding our nation as soon as possible in reaction to the damage that predatory Trump and his decrepit gaggle of oligarchs and mobsters have visited upon America through their obsessive need for power, control, and the plundered wealth of others.

Autumn Equinox 2019: a Pentagram of Ordo Ab Chao

Autumn EQ 2019 Washington DC: Good vs Evil, As Within So Without

In Manly P. Hall's The Secret Teachings of All Ages we find that, the pentagram symbol (5-pointed star) is "the time-honored symbol of the magical arts".."the five senses of man, the five elements of nature, the five extremities of the human body. By means of the pentagram within his own soul, man may not only master and govern all creatures inferior to himself, but may demand consideration at the hands of those superior to himself." (My italics.)

Will Order From Chaos occur and override Uranian Donald Trump who only knows how to 'govern' via chaos and who is overshadowed by lawsuits and investigations everywhere he turns? We can hope. Now as you see in the Autumn Equinox 2019 Horoscope, below, the US Inaugural Ascendant (14Taurus) sits atop the chart at Midheaven ('MC'), the Goal Point, as does the Moon-Neptune midpoint. This forms two pictures suggesting an unstable personality who is "gripped by forebodings." Can this be Trump under pressure and feeling cornered? Well, in mundane charts the Sun represents the leader, or in this case, US POTUS (by which I mean the fellow currently playing the role) and this Sun 00Lib00:00 conjoins the Jupiter-North-Node midpoint in the 2nd house of the National Treasury (with chart-ruler Sun making no Ptolemaic aspects in the chart other than opposing Chiron). Of course, one of Trump's favorite planets, Mars @23Virgo, is in 2nd house as well and conjoins US natal Neptune, a time when unwise decisions are probable and getting to the bottom of things is difficult if not impossible. Keeping a low profile is the best course of action but who would expect such moderation from attention-hound Trump? Especially since America's natal Mars-Neptune square of misguided action is activated by transit Mars to Neptune.

Then with the anti-social Neptune-North-Node midpoint conjunct the Equinox MC we may expect that the help of others is needed in order to reach objectives, while someone is in seclusion (though he may still be tweeting up a storm and calling heads of state on the phone for cozy chats. The way you do).

Above you see the DC Horoscope for Autumn Equinox 2019 which perfects when the Sun enters Libra (00:00:00) on September 23 at 3:50:25 am edt (aka, the Libra Ingress); highlighted in red is a stretched pentagram pattern pointing toward the Midheaven of the chart (MC 14Tau54) which subsequently conjoins America's Presidential Oath of Office, the Ascendant, at noon on January 20th, the swearing in of a new president. In this case, that would be Trump playing the POTUS role. The lower left point of the star conjuncts Trump's Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio in his natal 2nd house--closest to his Chiron and therefore the middle of his speculating, inflating, fraudulent Jupiter-Neptune midpoint. So for Herr Spanky a midpoint picture of potentials is formed by transit Mercury (conjunct US natal Saturn 14Lib4) as apex---his natal Jupiter-Neptune = transit Mercury: skills with deceptive practices; misleading or misdirecting the attention of others. With US n Saturn: combining the real with the unreal in activities; curtailed occult practices (Munkasey). Also note that rising in 1st house is transit Nemesis @28Leo26 conjunct the natal Mars and Ascendant of Donald Trump (which brings royal Regulus along as well: success if revenge is avoided--if not, every gain is taken away). Finally, is this a cosmic picture of a foe that's unbeatable for Teflon Trump?

Note: you're welcomed to take exception to my use of the stretched pentagram shown here but let's proceed in case the pattern turns out to have relevance to events and to current crises at least until Winter Solstice 2019 occurs and 'takes over' in December. If the pentagram is irrelevant, we'll find out by the time 2019 careens on into 2020.

Now a pentagram is a 5th Harmonic pattern and with an exact one, all five points (planets, points, etc) would be conjunct in a 5th harmonic chart ('H5'). Yet pentagrams rarely turn up in horoscopes so I'm allowing a stretching for this one. For as you know, its symbolism has been used for centuries by secret societies, other organizations, and in sacred, gnostic, Kabbalistic, and satanic systems and beliefs. In Christianity a pentagram often represents The Star of the Magi (or, Star of Bethlehem) and, as noted by Manly Hall in the quote, above, relates to man--and particularly to Leonardo da Vinci's illustration of the Vitruvian Man (health, fitness, asteroid Hygeia, the practice of medicine). Issues of the 'balance between mind and body' are implied which suggests some of the public discourse prevalent concerning the health of Donald Trump.

So pentagrams also relate to the Mind of Man (and Woman), the Fire element, to creative regeneration, and to those who are on a continual, adventurous quest upon which new, often unexpected events are encountered which may help rectify mistakes or past events--thus bringing order out of chaos. Plus, a definite spiritual component (good vs evil) is involved when a pentagram appears and there's often a 'brilliant bolt from the blue' that hints of erratic Uranus, The Witness, the Rebel, the Disrupter, the Maverick--and changes of direction become necessary. (Note that Uranus @5Tau55 Rx in 9th house is unaspected in this chart suggesting 'spurts of unusual behavior projected onto others'--Tierney.) Also Sun unaspected indicates a self-involved person with no conscience.

So does the Autumn EQ 2019 pentagram symbolize that someone new will appear on the scene, someone to counter Uranian Trump successfully? If so, he or she may be characterized as a 'giant' who has the power to affect and manipulate global events either for good or evil. Is she/he already on the scene (exs: the fellow lurking in the Oval Office, or, a 2020 candidate?) or is she/he someone new as suggested by the pentagram? With Venus in Libra in the 2020 Election Horoscope, the incumbent party is expected to retain control of the presidency although the Venus Cycle didn't manage to block a couple of exceptions to the rule in past presidential elections. So the certainty that this must be Trump in 2020 isn't necessarily the case, I suppose, and certainly much has happened in recent weeks on the Trump-whistleblower-Ukrainian front to suggest more strongly and blatantly than ever how unfit for office Trump is. Plus, Venus Cycle or no, if enough women, minorities, and Millennials vote Democrat, another Blue Wave could sweep his nibs out to sea.

Yet it's also possible that his status as Teflon Trump, a Bacchus figure (see 2nd house Sun @00Libra conjunct transit Bacchus!), will continue to protect him from all accusations and threats which suggests to me that people in very high places want him to remain in the White House as the saboteurs of America tick off items on their devilish to-do list. We know that major shifts are occurring around the world so is US global leadership becoming a thing of the past under agent Trump?

Then with another look at the horoscope, we see that Pluto-MC = Neptune which denotes potential scandals, other-worldliness, peculiarities, and "power run amuck" (Tyl)--a few of the things we already have experienced under the auspices of scofflaw Donald Trump. So if someone 'new' intends to appear, let's hope our difficulties will abate soon even if they can't disappear all together especially since December 26, 2019 brings the world a Capricorn Solar Eclipse in the 3 South Saros Series with its authority-related karmic imperatives and the promise--whether we're ready for it or not--of traumatic transformation, a concept which is well supported by transit Pluto plodding through Saturn-ruled Capricorn, transforming structures and systems as he creeps toward 2022 and his position in our nation's July 4, 1776 chart.

Trump as Apollo, Hercules, Bacchus? Venus applauds!

By studying his natal horoscope, curious cosmic myths and mysteries turn up concerning Donald Trump who, if one is to believe, was born June 14, 1946 at 10:54 am edt in Queens, New York. Notice the royal reference of his place of birth and, if his hour of entering the earthly flux is accurate, also note that royal star Regulus, the "king maker" or "little king", rises with his natal Ascendant (@29Le55: Self; Physical Body) at the moment of his birth. Also rising is a 'godly' asteroid, Apollo, the ancient 'sun god' along with a certain midpoint associated with goddess (or god) worship, veneration, and idolatry, Venus-Neptune. Perhaps you've noticed that in his own perverted way, Trump worships the female form, craves its beauty. In fact, only young, beautiful women will do! But is his vain self-image detached from reality? In the outer world, yes, but not on an inner level for he sees himself as the handsome Apollo and a royal king, the divine ruler! And we witness his sun worship via the orange face and white circles around his peepers ad nauseum! So whether by spray tan or tanning bed, there slouches our orange-hued 'Apollo' for all to see and marvel upon, red tie pointing ominously downward!

Yet there are deeper mysteries and intrigues under the surface of this superficial Gemini (Uranus-North-Node-Sun) who desperately longs to be taken seriously and to have speaks with world leaders of the strongman variety for Trump considers himself a strongman, too. But as with all human beings he is weak and flawed yet we find clues to his essence by his Regulus rising with lusty Mars in royal Leo (26Leo46) and in the myths associated with the royal star that Roman poet Ovid called Bacchi Sidus, "Star of Bacchus" (the Roman name for Dionysus, who remains well-known for his popular cult following). Of course these days, Regulus-rising Trump enjoys a (dwindling) Twitter following but still reaps benefits from the usual 'cult of personality' made familiar to the American public since the hallowed days of the high-minded George Washington (with whom his nibs can never compare, imho; in fact, they're opposites).

Now everyone knows that the leonine Regulus (now progressed from Leo to 00Virgo) is associated with the Nemean Lion who kidnapped maidens and kept them as hostages in his lair deep within his cave. (This sounds much like the myth of cave-dweller Pluto, god of Hades, and perpetrator of murder, assassination--and rape.) The warriors from surrounding towns would attempt to rescue the damsels in distress but misfortune resulted and so the myth goes that Heracles (the Roman Hercules, the strongman) was given the task of killing the Nemean Lion which he did by breaking its back with his bare hands for the Lion was impervious to all weapons. Does this remind you of the myth of "Teflon Trump"? Apparently it should. And according to the Trumpian mythology of his nibs, he plays the roles of both the Lion and the strongman who conquers!

Now curiously, Bacchus is associated with Regulus, an intriguing connection when it comes to D. Trump. Follow the Dionysus link, above, for more mythological info but I'll include a few details of interest here so you might consider whether or not they apply to his nibs. Such as:

Bacchus is known as the god of fertility, ritual madness (delirium), freedom to do as one wills (as with the satanic Thelema cult "of the Crowned and Conquering Child"), the harvest (grapes in particular), theater (Trump the thespian plays POTUS on TV!), and wine--or in the case of fussy narcissist Donald Trump, whine. In some cultural references Bacchus is a sibling of Apollo, and as the god of epiphany, Bacchus is "the god that comes" and his "foreignness as an arriving outsider" is an essential part of his cult and his reputation.

So if we cast our fatigued minds back to the 2016 Election, we find the Venus Cycle and goddess Venus' 4-and-8-year predictive relationship with the US Presidential Election cycle. In 2016, "Venus in Sagittarius supports a change to someone 'different'", I wrote then--in other words, election Venus in Sagittarius in 2016 supported the coming of a foreigner, a member of the rival party, an "outsider" who would be victorious over the incumbent party. A Bacchus figure, we might say if we wished.

Now let's allow goddess Venus to lure us back to Trump's natal midpoint picture of Ascendant = Venus-Neptune. Ebertin says of the Venus-Neptune pair (in no particular order per Trump and with a few mild edits):

'an erotic imagination, illusion, a person easily influenced, a dreamy nature, high ideals (when it comes to feminine beauty, at least--jc), a mistaken sense of love, indecision, uncertainty, a seducible character, erotic aberrations, inclination to mysticism (ex: idol worship; the occult--jc), romantic reverie, a poorly developed sense of reality, weakened glandular functions, pathological enlargement of the glands, weakness of the sex organs, lover of beauty and art, mystics, dreamers, visionaries, longing for love, peculiar desires and objectives, an unstable existence and changing occupations, difficult realization of ideals and wishes, awakening from emotional infatuation with awareness of disappointment or disillusionment, wrong ways of love.'

Add Trump's Ascendant for more specific potentials: 'A peculiar disposition with regard to love life, impressionable, lack of good taste, a union with persons of a peculiar disposition, and/or disappointment in love'. (The Combination of Stellar Influences, R. Ebertin.)

Now let's consider the combined energies of the Venus-Neptune pair in the realms of Politics and Business a la Munkasey's Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets through his helpful inclusion of the Hegelian Dialect used by ivory-towered societal meddlers and chess players of the world for whom we are only the pawns:

"Thesis: Appeals to the ideals of the people; an inflated treasury; use of inflation as a means for controlling or manipulating growth; wealth derived from gas, chemicals, or oil; exaggerates or misstates internal resources.

Antithesis: Scandals concerning the misuse of, or deceptive practices within, the treasury or internal resources; subversives who desire to gain access to finances; spies in the financial branches; monetary fraud; art deception." For Trump I would add, artful deception.

And Munkasey's Venus-Neptune potentials conjunct Trump's natal Ascendant?

"An appreciation of how reality can be altered for your own enjoyment; indulging in another's fantasy for personal gratification; perceptions about the illusions of how matter or form combine in the world."

And so it seems obvious to me that Trump's natal Mercury-Neptune square, a major fantasy-prone factor of misconception and falsehood lurking deep within his psyche, aids and supports his Venusian-Neptunian dreams, imaginings, illusions, and deceptions quite perfectly. Yet on this can we ever agree?

Election Day 2020 Voting Mercury Stations Direct

DC Horoscope: Election Day November 3, 2020 Washington DC 12:49:34 pm est, the moment Mercury, the planet of voting and voters, ballots, decisions, news, and communications turns Direct @25Lib55:02. Is this a cosmic picture of voters changing their minds? Or of votes being secretly changed or 'flipped' by hackers and/or other election saboteurs? If the last, we'll be able to identify many of the cheaters via the names of the victors!

Please enlarge the image to read my scribbled notes; Mercury's rounded-up degree of '26 Libra' = "An Eagle and a Large White Dove Turning One Into the Other" which seems to relate to the "turning" of Mercury from retrograde to direct--from Venus (8Libra06) toward the Sun (11Sco46)--or vice versa. Yet Scorpio's symbol is 'the eagle' so Venus must be the dove! Or is she the Oval Office which is a Venusian symbol of The Cosmic Egg which suggests all that Masonic mumbo jumbo and esoteric occultism that America's Founders followed when setting up the Utopian 'New Atlantis' in the New World, aka, America? And has the Great Seal reversed yet?

If so, then it's not very curious that in The Sabian Symbols in Astrology, Marc Edmund Jones gives '26 Libra' a Keyword of: ADEPTNESS. Positive expression: unusually effective self-discipline; negative: unhappy vacillation between ultimate ideals and momentary desires. Well, vacillation and indecision aren't rare within a voting booth on Election Day, of course, and if we consult Adriano Carelli's The 360 Degrees of the Zodiac for guidance on the 26th degree of Venus-ruled Libra, we find mention of "A sturdy, aristocratic physique, very keen senses of sight and hearing; an emotional, perhaps oversensitive temperament; open to danger of jumping to extreme mental attitudes. A two-edged fortune; great chances of victory in the struggle for life, and danger of losing all of one's property."

The Condition of Mercury

Now you see the weighty stellium of karmic Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter rising in governmental Capricorn--all three destined to meet in Great Conjunctions all through 2020 which is why I listed again their dates, upper right, in order of occurrence. Interesting how voting Mercury squares the trio with its square to Saturn separating (0S28), then a square to Pluto (3A11), and last to Jupiter (4A27). Squares represent obstacles, as you know, so naturally voter suppression tactics come easily to mind, along with potentials for: documents, papers, and/or ballots being mishandled, lost, or otherwise restricted or the count delayed (Mercury-Saturn), impractical campaign promises, inaccurate conclusions, exaggerated information, overblown rhetoric, and erroneous judgments (Mercury-Jupiter), and sarcasm, skepticism, and/or scandal used to manipulate or spotlight the weaknesses or vulnerabilities of others, obsessive thoughts, and/or secret information used to control others for personal gain. In other words, political campaigns and subsequent elections.

And of course you know that all three Capricorn planets are nearing US natal Pluto (27Cap33 Rx) with the karmic planet of restriction and accountability, Saturn, lurking nearest. This indicates a period when issues of power and control are uppermost and situations are simply too large to handle which may be related to past actions and behavior that were not up to Saturn's exacting standards. And with transit Pluto @22Cap42, Americans can feel our nation's first-ever Pluto Return/s coming soon with The Dictator suggested by the Pluto-in-Capricorn placement (Ebertin). So who was 'The Dictator' in 1776? Is Great Britain still in control of America?

Some say, yes, for certainly, control by a foreign power is indicated if nothing else even as some of us think that it's always been the case (by distant wealth-hoarder Pluto in his ivory tower)--and certainly now considering that huge amounts of money are invested in our politicians and they're controlled from afar and from plutonian shadows. Of the trio, perhaps Jupiter conjunct US Pluto will bring better results but more likely only more egregious plutocratic behavior as the rest of our resources migrate to 'the top'. Unfortunately, the American people have only Democrats to depend on for improving such unbalanced conditions but they're corporate-controlled too. So we must forget labels-- let's vote for candidates who actually uphold decent ideals wherever we find them!

POTUS Sun in Scorpio--Plus, Uranus, Neptune, and Venus

The Sun @11Sco46 (leadership) in 9th house applies only once in the chart--a trine with Neptune in 1st house which suggests large, unmanageable events connected to water, oil, gas, toxins--or possibly to fraud, propaganda, theft, falsehoods and lies (positively, inspiration). Religious figures are also suggested by the trine via evangelicals aspiring to the halls of power and 'helping' a figurehead into the Oval Office by hook or crook, if that's what it takes to install their agenda more completely.

Note on Uranus: there is a separating opposition between Sun and disruptive planet of chaos, Uranus (3S12), so by Election Day 2020 there have been challenges to POTUS leadership as he follows a dangerous course and continues to exhibit unpredictable anti-social behavior. So far, Trump does pretty much what he wants so perhaps the Sun-Uranus opposition here relates to finances, personal activities, and eventually having to pull in his sails. Yet with Uranus involved, we can never be certain, can we? For Uranus acts early, late, or never!

Now I confess that ever since the 2017-into-2018 Neptune Returns of the Republican Party (which freakily morphed into the Trump Party--change of identity or, more likely, the Neptunian mask of racism and totalitarianism comes off) I always think of the GOP (or what passes for it) and various of its members when I see Neptune in its own sign of Pisces in a Mundane Chart. So Neptune trine Election Day 2020 Sun denotes successful publicity and promotions for (Republican?) candidates--and along with America's Venusian Election Cycle suggests that the new president of November 2020 will be the old president, that is, whoever is playing the role at the time (Trump or Pence, one assumes) will be triumphant.

That's because 2020 Venus is in her own sign of Libra so odds are, the same party remains in the White House unlike in 2016 when Venus was in Sagittarius, sign of 'the outsider' when a rival (of Barack Obama) 'won'. Wish I could read the chart differently but it's impossible--although it is possible that election manipulation can occur in favor of a Democrat since the Venus Cycle formula did 'miss' a couple of times in the past. Maybe this time?!?!?

So as you see, the heavy-weight trio rising in the chart warns of a picture of Trump's natal Saturn and Venus in Cancer as the trio of planets take turns opposing them, plus, creating other obstacles for him via squares as 2018, 2019, and 2020 trundle along. This cosmic picture for Trump is an easy enough reason to imagine theocrat Mike Pence (as 'priest-king'? he fancies himself a preacher!) stepping into the presidential role before Election Day 2020, the political role he's been preparing for all his life. Maybe someone should inform Mr. Pence that Jesus Christ speaks to other believers, too, and around here He does not promote a Pence White House that would command people to worship Him under threat of man made laws!

Friday July 13, 2018: Predictions are being made concerning the 2020 Election, one such that both Republicans and Democrats should be worried but for different reasons. To me it seems more a case that the American people should be worried with little respite proffered between now and then as 'the old order' collapses into 'the new'. Anyway, below is a bi-wheel of Election Day 2020 (November 3) both charts set for Washington DC. Inner chart = 12:00 am est; outer chart = 11:59 pm est so we can view the entire planetary panoply from beginning to end of the 24-hour period:

Now many things including loyalties will shift before November 3, 2020 so I won't type much on this chart today though a few factors should be mentioned, such as:

12:00 am est, an Hour of the Sun becomes an Hour of the Moon (changes, fluctuations, publicity) by 11:59 pm est. With Leo rising, Chart-ruler Sun makes only one applying Ptolemaic aspect in the chart, a trine to Neptune (18Pis20 Rx) which benefits covert activities (exs: sabotage; foreign agents infiltrating; spies that harm national security, cyber warfare) and implies the smooth proceeding of confidential matters, plus, a certain sense of glamour (Neptune) is cast upon leadership (Sun) with a bunch of Neptunian propaganda and lies to go with it.

Highlighted in orange is the Election's Prenatal Solar Eclipse (11th house) which perfects at Summer Solstice 2020 @00Can21 in the 4 North Saros Series of illusions, restraints (on voters?), misjudgments (of voters?), and separations. (This eclipse hints at a major post coming asap!) The election's Syzygy Moon (last lunation prior to Nov 3, 2020) is a Full Moon and is entered in 9th house @8Tau38--conjunct radical Uranus Rx at the Halloween Full Moon! Of course, Full and New Moons can act at times as if they are eclipses in a disruptive Uranian fashion, revealing secrets left and right (Full Moons: lunar eclipses, New Moons: solar eclipses) so we'll probably have some interesting tidbits, secrets, news, and gossip surface pre-Election under its rays of awareness and culmination--finances and investment are involved most likely with a Taurus Full Moon though issues concerning the environment, agriculture, and project development can be expected.

As for the Election Day 2020 chart we find 'voting' Mercury strong at Direct Station @25Libra55 in 3rd house (25Libra = cusp of the 17th Lunar Mansion, a critical degree). So it appears that by Election Day 2020, reassessing the then-current crop of politicians (such as they are!) has been completed and votes have been cast (assuming a sure-to-be-rigged election is held at all).

So who do the planets in this Election Day 2020 horoscope favor?

Going by the Venus Cycle upon which US Presidential Elections are based (those smarty pants Venus-worshiping Founders of ours--or was it Mason FDR when he changed the ceremony to January 20?), 2020 Venus in Libra indicates that the same party will remain in power, in the White House at least. Of course, how things will proceed after the 2020 Election must depend in large part on the results of the November 6, 2018 Midterms with its difficult Prenatal Solar Eclipse, The Tower @18Leo41 (rising in the charts you see here!)

Nodal Return a Time on Our Paths of New Alliances and Renewing Old Ties

Yes, the old order is collapsing (or is being collapsed by social tinkerers who think they know better--with buddies Trump and Putin as front-men) but be that as it may or may not be, the Election 2020 horoscope shows Trump's natal planets all over it--you see many of his planets marked in green--plus, on Election Day Trump will be in process of having a Nodal Return! If he's still around, that is. (The mean ones always seem to live forever, don't they?) Well, he didn't win the popular vote in 2016 (No Mandate from The People) but pretends he did--and the global imperative in 2020 remains 'the big picture must be followed, very little option to do otherwise' - 1993 Uranus-Neptune = tr Pluto, (Tyl) = "POLITICAL POWER...smug or strong-armed paternalism" (The Sabian Symbols in Astrology, Jones). March 4, 2017 at 4:08:51 am est (Washington DC) is when transit Venus stands still @13Ari08 and, from our vantage point on planet Earth, seems to begin backward motion. Stationary planets "contain *suspended power" so let's consider what this means for the planet of diplomacy (and war, as ruler of Libra), values and evaluation, perspectives, persuasion, gain, relationships, trans- and other gender issues, and the attraction principle. The Arts, Beauty, and Romance will not be part of our political considerations today but the Venusian desire for change will.

When Lady Venus retrogrades, a process of review begins until she reaches and surpasses her 'shadow degree' which is her Rx Station degree--here, 13Ari08. During this period, her objectives may or may not run counter to tradition and societal proprieties and although current superficial social values may be rejected (Rx) by this Venus (and/or her partners?), she is in a passive state of reconsideration for now. Again, social and political protests particularly by women, will reoccur although their motivations may not 'reach' or agree with the general populace and so may fail to receive approval from everyone (though it's difficult to see how womens' rights and issues could be unapproved by the Collective at this late date!) Protesters' tactics and predictable sabotage ploys by paternalistic forces play a part in this approval-disapproval process as Venus Rx re-evaluates tactics in March into May including financial conditions, plus, there may be a weakening of partnerships or alliances, political and otherwise.

Venus Out of Shadow

Venus reaches shadow degree on May 18, 2017 @12:55:40 pm edt in a Washington DC chart with 00Vir37 on the Ascendant; therefore, Mr. Trump's natal Ascendant (29Leo55), transit North Node (28Leo44 Rx; public contact), and royal star Regulus @00Virgo (success if revenge is avoided) also rise. Transit Venus @13Ari08 is opposed by transit Jupiter @13Lib55 Rx and moneybags Jupiter is again the lead planet in a Locomotive pattern of executive power and success. But are we also seeing Jupiter the General and/or Jupiter the Religious Leader rising? More on the opposition, below.

Now in socio-political realms, Venus represents Culture, the economy and Economics, wealth, diplomacy (as noted above), society and societal trends, values (as noted), biology, the plant kingdom (now being further plundered by corporate interests), metals, and peace (now said to be brought by war). The planet's detached state indicates less moderation from other planets (actors) so that her sign and other astrological conditions are emphasized, in this case, Aries archetypes such as warriors, pioneers, adventurers, rebels, activists, business leaders, technicians, surgeons (abortion issues, repeal of Roe v Wade?) athletes, zealots, ambitious people, arsonists and the fires they set, and generally, energy, motivation, and aggression. The US justice system including the Supreme Court are in the news with America's natal Saturn (14Lib48) (courts, lawmakers) ruled by Venus.

And you may remember that it was Venus in late Sagittarius that announced "an outsider" and "rival" of the administration (then, a Democrat in the White House) who was destined to win the White House in 2016? (My pre-election political speculations are unedited in the post.)

Now we know that a Mars-ruled Venus in Aries can demonstrate a determined desire for change. What changes come depend on many more factors than Venus and Mars in Aries, including transit Pluto, saboteur and artist of transformation, now hanging out on and around the Uranus-Neptune 'new world order' degree of 18 Capricorn with its negative expression of 'smug or strong-armed paternalism'. And you know the midpoint picture now created by creepy planet of the criminal Underworld, Pluto:

Uranus-Neptune = Pluto: the big picture demands a certain course of action, very little option to do otherwise (Tyl) which to me sounds like 'an offer that can't be refused' by our sold-out, intimidated, bribed, or ideological politicians who inexplicably act against society's best interests while representing corporate interests instead of the needs of the constituents they allegedly are in Washington to represent. That Mr. Trump has been read into this 'big picture' agenda and acts in favor of it are obvious for he wouldn't be placed in the White House if he weren't. His campaign promises otherwise ring hollow as any propaganda yours truly has ever heard or read about from our nation's manipulated past.

2017's Venus-Jupiter Opposition

Occurring across the Aries-Libra Self-Other axis, a Venus-Jupiter opposition is no time to mix business with pleasure though Mr. Trump seems to be incapable of understanding the difference and has no desire to avoid such political conflicts of interest or the ethics violations the mix suggests. So let us assume for the purposes of this post that the following factors apply to him in particular if to no one else (although of course they may).

Cultural potentials within the Collective include: pomposity, arrogance, pretentious social climbing, posturing, ostentatious behavior, self-serving justice, values are difficult to defend, perspectives on reality suffer, a sense of proportion goes lacking, and gaudiness fails to impress. Loudly promoted events fall short of the hype, joint ventures may suffer defeat, there's a lack of cooperation, unfulfilled promises cause difficulties, and excesses inconveniently revealed are best forgotten (the culprit hopes!)

Political potentials include: many new and perhaps ill-considered laws, the number of foreign capital investments increase, religious interference in our justice system expands, and foreign raids on the Treasury. Positively there may be expansion in economic forecasts though inflationary factors and/or fraud and corruption continue to lurk underneath which makes a stable basis for our economy uncertain.

Summary: on March 4th, Venus retrogrades in unaspected condition but will receive an aspect from Jupiter as she leaves her shadow on May 18, 2017, and thus gains a better or clearer perspective. That the perspective is from an executive powerhouse Jupiter (the broadcaster and promoter) in Venus-ruled Libra (with all that their opposition implies) presents more of a negative condition than is good for the common good or for the US economy. But maybe circumstances are just dandy fine for the power elite and their financial enablers.

Campaign 2016: The White-Clad Goddess vs The Red-Faced Barbarian

As you know, a Spring Equinox or Aries Ingress Horoscope (2016 chart shown) is 'good for' the entire year it describes. In the Spring Equinox 2016 chart, aggressive warrior Mars rises in similar fashion to Mars rising (in proud Leo) in the natal horoscope of candidate Donald Trump. On one level this demonstrates the presidential contest we're in the midst of so why not take a peek at what Reinhold Ebertin has to say about the Mars-Ascendant duo:

Between the two of 'em we have our Red, White, and Blue, don't we? So with his Mars rising, it's significant that the color favored by Mars is red and Mr. Trump's face tends to display various shades of the bull-enticing color, sometimes alarmingly so. Plus, he's a bully involved in many lawsuits, is provocative, highly competitive, and likes to instigate quarrels that divert from real issues which need discussion. Oh, and apparently there's the barbarity of violence lurking within Trump's personality. Mob ties and Klan support increase that perception of him (for me, if not for you) and yet many people believe that Hillary Clinton has her associations with violence as well. In fact, it seems to be a job requirement for the US presidency that you must be, or be willing to become, a mass murderer. You may disagree but seriously I don't understand how you can. Campaign 2016 and the 2004 DNC Speech that Catapulted Barack Obama into Our Lives

August 27, 2016: Brief Astro-Notes on a President and Presidential Wanna-Bes

On the evening of July 27, 2004, Senate candidate Barack Obama delivered a rousing speech that electrified his audience and many of the public watching at home. Who is that skinny politician of the silvery oratory skills? Can he be president some day? Is such a hope mere audacity? Well, if higher ups are watching, guiding, training, and grooming a previously unknown politician, he or she certainly can rise through the ranks to become president. And as you know, Mr. Obama was selected to play the POTUS role of White House mouthpiece in 2008, a mere four years after his 2004 DNC speech debut upon the world stage.

A few highlights of his rhetoric in 2004 include how his father got a scholarship "to study in a magical place, America,"; "John Kerry believes in America"; "I am my brother's keeper" (it's true, he is, and so am I); "E pluribus unum" (out of the many, one); "There is not a black America and white America and Latino America and Asian America: there's the United States of America" (which brought thunderous, elated applause, if memory serves); we have a "righteous wind at our backs" (debatable--more like the racketeering winds of war); and he provided a few descriptions of the kind of 'hope' he was talking about--one was: "It's the hope of slaves sitting around a fire singing freedom songs," a sentiment that remains all too true thanks to our corporate Global Government masters (for whom Senator Obama touted on that hot July night whether he knew it or not--such is the price of a presidency).

Yes, slaves to a rigged system are we...which is not to diminish the horrific enslavement of an entire race of people for the sake of financial gain and to prop up an ill-built economic system operated by pathological predators upon humanity.

Back in 2004, Mr. Obama intoned something which closely applies to Election 2016:

"This year, in this election, we are called to reaffirm our values and our commitments, to hold them against a hard reality and see how we are measuring up, to the legacy of our forbearers and the promise of future generations."

A "hard reality" yes, especially since the September 1, 2016 19 North Solar Eclipse contains themes of realism and tackling the truth (Brady). Trouble is, the eclipse @9Vir21 is opposed by confusing, deceptive, fraudulent, speculating Neptune strong in its own sign of Pisces which can signify such potentials as pessimism, chaos, cravings, clouding of issues, and pathological tendencies. As you've noticed, pathological tendencies such as lying and fakery are regular topics on the Campaign 2016 trail and I have previously stated that on November 8th I must settle for Hillary Clinton's sober, more realistic Mercury-Saturn square rather than Donald Trump's fact-and-perspective distorting Mercury-Neptune square. Yet it's quite a non-choice they've given us, isn't it? Feels to me like in Campaign 2016, We the People are being pulled between fact and fiction like a bone between two old hounds! And both are kinda mangey...

Because both 2016 candidates are weighed down by heavy baggage from their pasts and are hindered by real and fake scandals their opponents harp on. And both engender anxious concerns over health and aging issues (Grandma vs Grandpa!)

Still, we have a current president sitting in the (Venusian) Oval Office while transit Venus in Sagittarius on November 8th will point toward a rival moving into the White House on January 20, 2017--which would be a candidate of the Republican Party--a 'stranger' or 'the other' or 'an outsider' such as the sign of Sagittarius prefers if the US presidential Venus Cycle holds true in November. Of course, election rigging and tampering can always result in a different victory than the people expect for we've seen such machinations before.

So yes, a few transits did activate future president Obama's natal planets as he gave the July 2004 DNC speech that catapulted him into our national consciousness (and more evidence may be found in his progressed and return charts, not covered here). Since we have a time stamp on the transcript, we know he began his speech at 11:09 pm edt with 21Aries47 rising in Boston and 11Cap19 at Midheaven. Therefore, The Goal (Capricorn) was apparently to gain control over the minds of the masses via the persuasive rhetoric for which he soon became known (YOD: Sun-NN = Pluto: inner preparation during underground years provides adaptability for a new level of power as all vulnerabilities are purged--Tierney). I'd say that his 'overnight sensation' image was all illusion and pretense with the support of 2004's Neptune @14AQ approaching natal Ascendant (18AQ03), plus 2004's Mercury, planet of speeches, orators, and voters, @2Virgo27 neared his natal Pluto (6Vir58) which denotes a time when plans and activities involve gaining more power.

Actually, orating Mercury that night was centered between Mr. Obama's natal 7th house Pluto-North Node conjunction (public contact with the masses; promoting propaganda) so let's close with the midpoint picture this cosmic circumstance created on that karmic night of rhetoric when Obama's political prowess was on major display:

Pluto-NN = Mercury: thinking big; hearing the grass grow; intellectual dominance (Tyl); ability to exercise a compelling and magnetically powerful influence upon the community at large (Ebertin); getting the right education; feeling shifts of power and taking advantage of them; conversing fluently with influential people (Munkasey).

One thing stands out to me when comparing and contrasting the 2004 Election with the one we suffer through now: there is no silvery tongue to beguile us this time. But there be plenty of forks.

Horoscope: US Moon Return on Election Day 2016

November 8, 2016: Synchronicity and Sadness

Since basic notes are penned upon our November 8, 2016 Lunar Return horoscope (please enlarge to read), I'll simply add a few thoughts in the following text. This Return chart is based on America's July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA horoscope which many astrologers use as the US natal chart--the date, if not that precise moment.

On November 8, 2016 at 11:37:43 am EST, the critical degrees of 20Capricorn and 20Cancer are rising and setting which makes status quo authoritarian Saturn the chart-ruler. Saturn @15Sag 12 is in the 11th house of Groups and Associations and is within US natal 1st house having been plopped on our nation's Ascendant, crossing and recrossing, for some time during which we've seen Republican attempts to hold Hillary Clinton accountable. Some little effort has been made to hold Donald Trump accountable for his several financial irregularities as well, and of course, President Obama never completely escapes the moral high horse of the Republicans.

Yet Moon Return Saturn provides a bright note. See it, upper right on the chart for chart-ruler Saturn applies to a trine with Uranus in 3rd house, giving a lift to business and financial sectors, and possibly affecting student loans or other economic matters. (My nag in the race is eternally the American people, oppressed by a greedy ruling elite.)

Then there are the Democrats--those who fund them and those who tend to vote for them--who have also participated to varying degrees in the Hold Accountable Political Sweepstakes as transit Saturn has lurked about, ready to file lawsuits if they were deemed beneficial to the litigant. Tragically for the American people and our form of government, our degraded justice system has continued to perform in a less than stellar manner as our nation's formerly exalted-in-Libra Saturn now progressed and retrograde in betraying Scorpio can attest.

So is this a significant synchronicity we see with a US Lunar Return occurring on a very important Election Day? To me it seems so. Here the Moon (27AQ09) rises in the 1st house but only after contentious Mars, at a critical 29th degree, rises. Powerful, wealthy Pluto has just arisen @15Cap23, conjoined with the lovely fixed star, Vega, and a few hours earlier, the Sun arose with Vega (aka, Wega), a star with potentials for: luck in Politics, wealth through dealing with the government, but also fleeting fame and double dealing. Problems via mother also may apply (A. Louis).

And with Mars and Pluto (ruler and sub-ruler of Scorpio) rising, we have what may be a picture of force, violence, compulsion, war, and/or nuclear potential rising. The 7th house of Partnerships and Open Enemies may be involved since the Moon is ruler there with 20Cancer on the cusp and Twin stars Castor and Pollux spotlighted, the light and dark twins. Both stars denote creativity yet murder and other crimes and scandals are tucked away for future reference (via either the Clintons or Mr. Trump, if he's the GOP nom.)

Okay, there is much more to say about this curious horoscope with its synchronicity standing out like a you-know-what thumb but I won't just now--except for one question: is a Lunar Return on Election Day 2016 a symbol of the American people (Moon) re-turning to Hillary Clinton, also signified by the Moon (a woman)? The planets are in a Locomotive shape with political planet Jupiter in the lead and indicating a high-powered executive. The Scorpio Midheaven, Sun, and Mercury (just past Hillary's Mercury Return!) seem to whisper if not shout her name while wifely Juno (politics) @00Sag conjoins Hillary's natal Jupiter. Also @00Sag is the day's Sun-Saturn midpoint which hints at good fortune for an older person (Grandma Hillary?) and this pile-up spotlights the degree's Sabian Symbol: "A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire." Plus, Sun-Saturn links to karma and Mrs. Clinton apparently expects to garner the White House Oval Office for her past efforts towing the Global Government line (which must include the corporate coup, the TPP).

This militaristic word picture reminds me of Hillary Clinton as neocon with her warhawk-esque stance that the baton-passing on January 20, 2017 will give a nod to in Washington's quest for perpetual war and world domination. Was she anointed from the start to follow the 'new world order' script? In my opinion, yes, she was, and the overblown Political Theater which the Mainstream Media has pedaled 24/7 as "Campaign 2016" has done its best to disguise that very sad fact.

Now let's close with the one chart factor that may override all the others and 'run away with the chart' and the day's big event: Mars at a critical 29th degree is unaspected. Is this Donald Trump going it alone to the White House? Perhaps, or does Mars represent former President Bill Clinton who will be the very first First Gentleman we've ever had in the White House? It may even be the temperament of Hillary Clinton which the latest tell-all book says was explosive and nasty in her days as First Lady. Well, I'll add here what I understand about an unaspected Mars and let you decide his or her identity--or identities:

When Mars, the planet of motivation, energy, and action is not aspecting other planets (actors) in a chart it is able to express its traits in an undiluted, unrestrained fashion since limitations from other planets are nonexistent. This is a first-house Mars rising which emphasizes its Aries nature and its aggressive warrior tendencies. Here, Mars rules the 3rd house of Communications and the 10th house of Career and Public Status so these departments are where his unrestrained, boundless energies will express most visibly.

An unaspected Mars tends to be self-centered which may be seen as he acts in his own self-interest (this describes most politicians in general!). He prefers to be in constant motion, always on-the-go, or, he may operate in fits and spurts. A lack of compromise may also be evident along with an independent mindset that is compulsively one-pointed in its focus. Although components in his psyche are missing, boundless enthusiasm may be noted though the negative Martian traits such as aggression, anger, violence, a me-first attitude, and foolhardiness (where angels fear to tread, etc) are unmodulated by planetary influences for he listens very seldom to others and disdains advice. Bad tempered may be a mild description depending on how often things go his (or her) way.

Then if we add a Martican 'never admits to his mistakes' we can envision Hillary's fly in the ointment as Mr. Trump playing the spoiler role as the unaspected Mars who runs away with the Oval Office on November 8th. Plus, there's Mars' Sabian Symbol for '30Cap': "A Secret Meeting of Men Responsible for Executive Decisions in World Affairs"...'EXECUTIVE POWER' (Rudhyar), a picture which speaks of an 'occult hierarchy' and a 'supreme Council of quasi-divine Beings.'

Hmm. That sounds like those who select presidents--those often described by Max Igan as, "the powers that think they be."

But then there is the feminine influence on US Presidential Elections of the 8-year Venus Cycle...
