White House 1993: a New President, a Resignation, and Uranus Meets Neptune

As you know, 1993 was the year that Enlightenment planets Uranus and Neptune met three times in Great Conjunction on or about the 18th degree of Capricorn. The Sabian Symbol for 18Cap is: POLITICAL POWER...negative expression: smug or strong-armed paternalism (Jones).

The following paragraph is the text of what is allegedly the suicide note of Vincent Foster who died July 20, 1993 after leaving his White House office and saying he'd be back. Wife Lisa Foster has said that the following text (or part of it) reads like a letter of resignation which it could be since Mr. Foster apparently intended to resign from the President Bill Clinton administration only 6 months into Mr. Clinton's first presidential term which began on January 20, 1993:

I made mistakes from ignorance, inexperience and overwork I did not knowingly violate any law or standard of conduct No one in The White House, to my knowledge, violated any law or standard of conduct, including any action in the travel office. There was no intent to benefit any individual or specific group The FBI lied in their report to the AG The press is covering up the illegal benefits they received from the travel staff The GOP has lied and misrepresented its knowledge and role and covered up a prior investigation The Ushers Office plotted to have excessive costs incurred, taking advantage of Kaki and HRC The public will never believe the innocence of the Clintons and their loyal staff The WSJ editors lie without consequence I was not meant for the job or the spotlight of public life in Washington. Here ruining people is considered sport

Yes, "ruining people" in DC still takes up quite a bit of their time and effort, even on a good day. And so I must agree with Mr. Foster on that point even though my DC residence in decades past (during the Nixon era) was not specifically related to Politics or to politicians other than having friends who were the children of diplomats. Yes, a few paths were crossed but I was not the political one and did not care to be.

Is It Time for Smug or Strong-Armed Maternalism?

Well, here it is, 2016, and a presidential campaign is underway which provides the American people with two wounded candidates (unless a replacement is brought in for Trump or for Hillary). And if Vince Foster is correct, "the public will never believe the innocence of the Clintons..." particularly Hillary Clinton, a current presidential candidate. If she is (s)elected for the Oval Office, the American people will be subjected to an endless stream of Republican criticism, innuendo, and fluffy scandals about her activities and I doubt that GOP Capitol Hill-ers will behave any better toward her than they did during the presidency of Barack Obama. (Much of that behavior is Political Theater, designed to keep the American people divided and conquered.)

However, this week another Benghazi Report was released and Trey Gowdy and his Republican posse held a presser yet couldn't provide any new information they'd found in any of their several 'investigations' of Hillary Clinton--concerning Benghazi or her State Department emails--after millions of dollars down the drain when Republicans could have been doing something actually useful for the American people. A spendthrift, in-breach-of-public-contract GOP has become quite a bunch of wheel-spinners, haven't they? And with Democrats enabling.

So although yours truly is not the best at believing in the innocence of the Clintons, come November 8, 2016 my vote will go to the Democratic nominee, no matter how much baggage the yappy GOP loads her down with for 4 years or 8. Because for one reason--always consider the source, and after 8 excruciating years of oilmen Bush-Cheney in the White House, I dearly wish for America's sake that Hillary Clinton weren't so obviously a neocon follower of the Global Government script of world domination. And we can't depend on mainstream media to honestly inform us.

Well, let's be thankful for small favors because at least Hillary wasn't born with an unaspected Pluto, an astrological condition which describes Donald Trump and accounts for some of his lack of personal reflection and his I-never-make-mistakes stupidity. An unaspected Pluto identifies him as an isolationist and a man "overshadowed by shadows" with "primal urges and obscure drives" in control, plus his separating (and thus unconscious) Mercury-Neptune square only distorts his thinking further and scrambles the facts.

So in November, I'll be voting for Hillary's shadows over Trump's. Even if shades of Vince Foster come back to haunt us all.

Venus @25Sag47 in 11th house is out of bounds (OOBs) of the earthly plane and acting according to her own unusual or possibly skewed perspectives yet is in Mutual Reception (on friendly terms) with Jupiter (Sag/Libra) which leads a planetary Locomotive of success (which could signify Mr. Trump with his Jupiter in Libra.) Meanwhile critical degrees grace the ASC/DESC axis of Self and Other and manipulative gold-hoarder and power-grabber Pluto has just risen into the 12th house of Karma, Secret Deals, and Politics while testy Mars at a critical-crisis 29th degree readies to rise and take control of the situation. Following activist Mars closely is asteroid Hidalgo who seeks higher status, an exotic social climber, we might say. But is Hidalgo the 'exotic moth' a majority of We the People will vote for?

Actually, Mars rising is Donald Trump's planetary signature but he expresses it with a dramatic Leonine flair! Plus, there's the 8th house 19 North Solar Eclipse @9Virgo to contend with and its realism vibes which will take precedence since late August-early September as expressed in large part by candidate Bernie Sanders. However, you see the Scorpio Sun and Mercury at the top (Mc) of the chart which suggests Scorpio Hillary Clinton (natal ASC, Mercury, Venus, Chiron, Sun) at the Aspiration/Goal Point of the Lunar Return chart and in her natal 12th house of Politics. Is the American public feeling futuristic (AQ) enough to toss out establishment candidates? Polls have said so but November 8th is what tells the conservative vs progressive tale one more time.

When we speak of unpopular even reviled Democrats in American Politics who can forget the nearly-impeached President Andrew Johnson who staggered into the Oval Office after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln? Here's the drunken, high-handed cuss now:

Now I'm not certain you're up for it but if you are you may check out the natal horoscope of President Johnson to your heart's content. However, it's only rated 'C" because the accuracy of his birth data is in question. Now does he have lovely Libra rising as his birth time indicates? Perhaps but if so he must have been a looker in his youth because...well, let beholders judge the visage of this stern and stubborn fellow with their own eyes.

Well, let's at least consider his pragmatic Sun Capricorn-Moon Taurus personality blend which should have given him common sense enough to avoid overindulgence in alcohol. Yet I suppose the last degrees of comfort-loving Taurus contained the difficult fixed stars of the Pleiades, then as now, which may have added an Alcyone influence to his life and the 'something to cry about' theme of that star which suggests a potential for crying in one's beer out of self-pity.

Sun Cap-Moon Taurus provided the Honorable Mr. Johnson with organizational skill, shrewdness, and made him a 'staunch supporter of the status quo'. Diligent and hardworking, this earthy blend denotes reliability, worldliness, loyalty, and frugality--he was a time and place for everything kind of guy who was attached to familiar routine. Inflexible and possessive, Johnson had a tendency to be over materialistic and devoted to tradition.

It may be that other chart factors mitigated the more admirable traits of Sun Cap-Moon Taurus and not necessarily in a positive way which led to his extreme unpopularity. But however he treated himself (or pickled himself with certain libations), it may be instructive to list a few famous personages with whom his natal Sun-Moon blend is shared, and a name or two may surprise you:

President Obama Speaks and Is Mindful of The Importance of Being Earnest

If you know about or have read lately about the current Mars-Uranus opposition which now squares powerful manipulator Pluto (Dec 6 - 10) then you know that this evening's TV address by President Obama delivered from the White House (to show how serious he is) fits right in with the T-Square's dynamic, intense energies.

Mars-Uranus, Mars-Pluto, Uranus-Pluto--all three pairs combine into explosive, forceful, aggressive actors designed to catch attention and rearrange present conditions into something more chaotic, even brutal. Naturally, military action is denoted as well along with warriors of all stripes joining battles, initiating conflicts, and fighting until the end. Challenges are issued and accepted!

These planetary conditions now reflecting events on the earthly plane (As Above, So Below) describe what I have been dreading for some time but these are not all that was on display tonight as President Obama spoke. He began at 8:00 pm est with his natal Mercury 2Leo19 rising though Ascending was a lunar 28Can47 and this degree of Cancer places US natal Pluto Rx @27Cap33 setting on the Descendant of Partnerships and Alliances; US natal Mercury Rx @25Cancer had risen and was traversing the 12th house of Politics and Karma by 8:00 pm.

Soon after he began, the president's natal Sun 12Leo32 arose and there are several planetary hints that self-promotion was one of his goals as he adapted his visions and perspectives for presentation to the public (Mars-Neptune = Mercury) on the topic of ISIS and terrorism. The need to fulfill dangerous tasks was communicated and flavored with what passes for stark realism in US Politics though many conditions and associated affairs remain private and not open to public scrutiny (Saturn-Pluto = Mercury.) As you know, Mercury is the planet of communication, speeches, messages, young people, and journalists (or what passes for them these days) so they have their parts to fulfill in what was very much a role-playing event tonight--bully pulpit and all that, promoting the US perspective on things.

Hmmm...young people. Was this speech also meant as an outreach to inspire young people (including women who can now become combatants) to sign up for duty? More troops are needed, say neocon war hawks. Pass the canon fodder!

If so, President Obama showed shrewdness tonight as he presented what are basically over-expansive ideas (transit Jupiter, planet of expansion, now conjunct his natal Mars, planet of warriors, war, and action.) However, you may have noticed a lack of coping ability melded with the shrewdness which made a very odd mixture. On one level, this may be due to Mr. Obama's natal Mars being shrouded and clouded by US natal Neptune, both @22Virgo and the conjunction now has quite a pile-up of energies in the 20--22 Virgo area of the Zodiac: the current Solar Eclipse (September 13, 2015 @20Vir10) provides a high stress level and an overtaxing of strength influence (Brady), transiting Jupiter as noted @21Vir38 tonight increases it all, and fixed star Denebola (to go against society; against the mainstream) springs more fully into action, triggered by Jupiter.

Another concern is the Cardinal Grand Cross now brought into manifestation by the above noted Mars-Uranus-Pluto T-square (thanks to Mars joining in) which adds explosive force and ruthless brutality to US natal Sun @13Cancer (POTUS) for as you know, US natal Sun has been opposed by transiting Pluto for some time now with its 'titanic power struggle and challenge' implications. Tonight's speech was part of taking control of the situation where 'destroying ISIS' is concerned. And it may be no coincidence (for nothing really is) that in recent weeks and certainly this very evening--two descriptive asteroids (archetypes) are traveling in tandem at 22Libra: Nemesis and Isis, with Nemesis having 'the unbeatable foe' and 'divine retribution' flavors. Note that just who is actually behind the creation of ISIS (ISIL) is beyond the scope of this post.

For the US, this deadly East vs West battle calls for more organization and structure (transit Mars @14Libra conjunct US natal Saturn at IC, the Basis of the Matter) and as tonight's Moon @24Libra approaches Venus @2Sco11 (preparing for the holidays?), we might better find a clue in the Uranus-MC (8:00 pm est) conjunction with the MC as the Goal Point of the speech's horoscope: 'strife or radical movements which force new internal policies or methods' (a new agenda), a strategy we've seen used before--most notably after the attacks of 9/11/01 and the ready-to-go US Patriot Act, plus, preemptive war and occupation, and other policy changes distorting the character and principles of our nation. Now that's what has resulted in what I would call a Crippled America--crippled by fascist traitors and infiltrators.

Though he mentioned destroying ISIS and not giving into fear, the Astrology I'm seeing in the speech horoscope shows the fostering of paranoia for political control of the people via Mars at the IC (Endings; The Drain: Death.) Is Election 2016 part of Washington's political calculations? Now this wouldn't be surprising since it's been done successfully before (ex: 'bin Laden tapes' released just before election day.) Yet whatever the motive/s, tonight's speech will probably be fairly well received with chart-ruler Moon first sextiling Mercury (0A27), then conjoining popular Venus (7A22). Round up speech-maker Mercury's degree to 26 Sagittarius and we have "A Flag-Bearer in Battle" (Jones) which supports the president's expansive agenda in the Middle East along with more young people joining the military, if and as they may.

Washington's stubborn refusal to recognize its limitations bodes ill for many

Tragically for innocent people both here and abroad, it likely will take more than the Paris and the San Bernadino attacks to 'justify' the draconian changes the power elite (and those who direct them from behind the scenes) are determined to force upon us. After all, transiting Uranus, planet of anarchy, chaos, disruption, and shock, has been opposing US natal Saturn for a while now and this describes a 'new order' vs 'old order' stand-off and the collapse of traditional institutions--along with de-structuring Pluto now in structure-building Capricorn and plodding his way toward America's first-ever Pluto Return/s in 2022.

ISIS is "part of a cult of death," said President Obama tonight which is obviously true. And of course I am on America's side yet it amazes me how a drone-striker president projects such a mote into the eye of 'the other guy' while ignoring the beam in his--in our--own.

Now let's close with a bit of info on the Summer solstice 2015 Sun-Moon blend of conscious mind + the unconscious: Sun Cancer-Moon Leo, a steamy, passionate Water-Fire affair and a blend of a 'passionate crusader'.

The signs: Moon-ruled Cancer is self-protective and shrewd while Sun-ruled Leo is dramatic and full of leadership ability. The combo indicates a season when introvert and extrovert qualities mix into a colorful array of qualities such as affection, sociability, but also a demand for privacy. Great intuition and good business sense will be expressed yet playing the prima donna who rejects all criticism may be shown. In Politics, a tendency to deflect all criticism along with responsibility for one's actions and attitudes has become the norm, hasn't it? and with presidential candidacies being announced and promoted with campaign donations simply piling in--many from abroad, Summer 2015 will be long, hot, and steamy.

With the recent Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris as justification, the White House has scheduled an Anti-Extremism Summit for Wednesday February 18, 2015, the day of a major Solar Eclipse at a critical-crisis 29th degree in secretive Pisces, plus, the day of Spring Equinox 2015, aka, Aries Ingress 2015 when the Sun reaches 00Aries00, a World Point of manifestation and prominence. This year February 18th is also Ash Wednesday on the Vatican calendar so it is quite a big day in the Cosmos and in America with the rest of the world in the cross hairs of the East vs West conflict now being brewed to boiling with both sides determined to 'rule the world'. The plot to seize the White House just after FDR took office (and thus collapse all social safety net programs) continues apace in 2015 with Campaign 2016 on the political menu and The Rise of Dark Money and the Koch Party in the spotlight.

1/11/15 Paris Unity Rally as world leaders line up for photo op

Today in Paris France thousands of people from across the globe rallied against the recent terrorist attacks and murders that began in a big way with the mayhem perpetrated upon the offices of a radical French publication and its political cartoons. Placards with Je Suis Charlie and Liberte were held up in the streets of Paris today in solidarity with the concept of freedom of expression which the victims were exercising via publication of satiric cartoons spoofing Islam. This morning American news broadcasts and other sources focused upon the Rally in Paris and the "historic" gathering of world leaders, hypocrites though they be.

How opportunistic that world chuckleheads...er, I mean, leaders...positioned themselves at the head of the massive crowd of marchers while posing for the cameras in their black garb! Especially since many if not all of these same leaders and others before them have thrown journalists in prison for exercising their right to free speech. Mais oui, it's all happening today in Grand Orient Paris, City of Light--and underground City of Skulls (see link to creepiness at end of this post).

Back in the days of the French Revolution, Robespierre and his cohorts thought they would establish a 'new order' with France at its head--a 'Rational' State based on the Enlightenment principles of Uranus-Neptune (sans God) with the bloody guillotine at its ready disposal and aimed at the heads of all who disagreed. Well, today's Rally in Paris, the attacks that inspired it, and other recent events fall under the auspices of the last lunation, the January 4/5, 2015 Full Moon @14Can3---conjunct Egypt's favorite star, Isis goddess Sirius. The January Full Moon also triggered US natal Sun (the president) and it's of interest that during this morning's broadcast concerning the Paris Unity Rally, it was announced that President Obama (who is not in Paris today but Abbas, Netanyahu, Cameron, Merkel, and several other leading chuckleheads of the monarchical bloodline persuasion are) has called for a "Security" Summit of global leaders to be held at the White House on February 18, 2015--the day of a Pisces New Moon and what the Vatican calls an 'Ash Wednesday'.

Yes, global leaders (signified by Jupiter Rx leading a Locomotive pattern) placed themselves at the head of thousands of marchers today yet Jupiter is unaspected, suggesting their complete detachment from the public and our concerns as they gathered for this weirdly stage-managed photo op--as if Merkel and her crew are really part of the event rather than mere opportunists.

And we must mention the 6th exact Cardinal Square between Uranus and Pluto on December 15, 2014 and the generational clashes and power struggles it's brought to the world as the ancient regime of Pluto attempts to block upstart Uranus, planet of a New Age. Their last exact square is on March 16, 2015 and we must hope that social stalemates can simmer down a bit as 2015 proceeds though the serious effects upon everyone's Civil Rights lie in the balance.

February 18, 2015: Some Shady Doings Under Cover of Lunar Darkness

The Summit will already have begun in Washington DC when, in the midst of lunar darkness, the Feb 18th New Moon perfects at 6:47:13 pm EST during a Solar Hour with 12Vir34 rising, a 6th house Neptune @6Pis59 as the chart's final dispositor (says SolarFire v9), a 6th house New Moon @29AQ59 (anxious to reach the depths of murky Pisces--squared by Saturn and reaching for Neptune's veil), and Jupiter Rx @16Leo02 in the 12th house of Politics, Karma, and Self-Undoing.

Financial planet Jupiter Rx is the handle of a Bucket pattern and as such, links the hemispheres of the chart together with cautious preparedness his aim. Leo is, as you know, the royal sign of the 'natural ruler' though until April 8, 2015, Jupiter will regress toward President Obama's natal Sun once again so perhaps we should consider this Bucket handle Jupiter to represent Mr. Obama since the Security Summit will be held at the White House. He will be using the physical assets of the White house to appear more attractive to the Summit's attendees (Mercury-Venus = Sun) with an increased sensitivity to the desires of others (Mercury-Venus = Moon) though one wonders with asteroids Sappho and intoxicated Bacchus conjoining quirky Uranus in the 8th house of Sexual Relations! Will some of the Summit's shady doings under cover of a darkened Moon involve drunken drugged-out orgies? If so, then...peep-eye! Of course, this trio in 8th house could just as easily be seen as practicing a delirious pagan ritual in honor of an ancient goddess, couldn't it?

A Bucket pattern of planets indicates an uncompromising direction of effort with little if any concern for conservation of resources or for the end results. Jupiter here is the executive, yes, but in a reviewing of resources role since he's retrograde--not weaker, but more inward facing. Another chart factor in relation to Jupiter is trickster Pan and wealthy Midas both Rx and conjunct Midheaven (The Goal Point) which falls at 10Gem01 so the Virgo Ascendant elects Mercury, planet of meetings, discussions, communications, crossroads, trade, and speeches, as chart-ruler (and MC-ruler) so we may expect the financial aspects of circumstances to involve the usual fraud and trickery (fraudulent Neptune as Final Dispositor, instigator Mars--at a critical-crisis 29th degree and about to join his own Aries Point--ruling the New Moon's corporate 8th house of Transformation with disruptive, zealous, new-agey anarchist Uranus in Aries therein.

Speedy traveler Mercury @4AQ05 (in 5th house of Risk-Taking and Speculation) closely sextiles Saturn @4Sag27 (in 3rd house of Communications), the Manager and Task-Bringer, and their near-exact sextile, the only applying aspect made by chart-ruler Mercury (0A22), offers clues about the underlying purpose/s of the White House "Security" Summit of global leaders, plus, with both planets at 4 degrees of their signs, we may say there are fated undertones to this "home grown terrorists" discussion during the February 18th "Summit on Countering Violent Extremism" (translation: suppressing all opposition to Global Government implementation by Global Police and Military Forces).

Certainly on at least one level there are fated undertones afoot of the reap-what-was-sown variety since 'blow back' due to the expansion of a controlling Global Government (forcing a 'new world order' upon the masses) has created many enemies for the West with innocent people the victims and Easterners attempting to enforce a global Caliphate of their own, Sharia law and all. The ancient East v West conflict continues to be about who will 'win' global control over the planet as World War III is triggered (you saw the Illuminatists out in force today in the streets of Paris if your eyes were alert! The true instigators remained behind the scenes, of course, but the nwo's political mouthpieces had their 'historic' photo op in full view of the public.)

A Talented Mercury-Saturn Sextile Tells a Tale

So what might Mercury sextile (60 degrees) Saturn intend to say and do during Security Summit 2015? Here is a list of potentials: issue warnings which may or may not be listened to, set priorities, manage resources, explain guidelines and rules, and organize expressions of discontent (of the group and/or of the masses). This sextile also indicates that conflicts and bickering may erupt among the chuckleheads in attendance.

Let me add that my above remark about attendees of a 'monarchical bloodline persuasion' is based in part on Mercury's rounded-up Sabian Symbol for '5AQ": "A Council of Ancestors" which aptly describes the February 18th Summit, imho, especially since even modern world leaders' descendancy from a certain bloodline has been recorded and includes despots like Alfred and Alexander the Greats, Charlemagne, William the Conqueror, pharoahs such as Cleopatra (natal chart shown), French, German, British and other monarchical families including Queen Elizabeth II, PM David Cameron--in America, George Washington (a Star family descendant), Thomas Jefferson, John Adams (a Dragon family descendant), the Roosevelts, the Bushs, Bill 'Clinton', the Rockefellers, Barack Obama, and others you may think to name.

Some time ago I published a version of the CIA natal horoscope if you wish to view it. In July 2014, the CIA will be 67 years old and you'd think they'd be better at this secrets thing than to allow the name of their station head in Afghanistan to be on a list sent to the White House so that the pool of the president's advisers could be published.

Of course, the White House dropped the secrets anvil on its own foot with this one.

Now if we take the CIA's natal Sun-Moon personality blend to be Leo (Fire)/Scorpio (Water)--a group of proud, arrogant (Leo) spies and betrayers (Scorpio)--we find that this combo of energies produces a fanatical 'by hook or crook' determination toward success, the Machiavellian model. Phobias and cynicism abound in tandem with 'an inscrutable self-belief'. This blend's tendency to be upfront on the outside while hiding a labyrinth of secrets within is a perfect description of the agency.

Sun Leo-Moon Scorpio may sometimes undermine itself, usually via its darkly suspicious nature, or by over-extending itself. Interference from others is never appreciated to say the least and this 'outing' of the station chief's name must be excruciatingly embarrassing for them (unless it was done on purpose--perhaps by a rogue agent? just a thought!) Ever loyal to its own, it will be interesting to see if the one who made up the 'manifesto'--the list of names of the president's advisers on his weekend trip to Afghanistan--will be revealed though I don't expect that any proverbial 'heads will roll' for the mistake, do you? At least not in public--unless a show of improvement and accountability are deemed necessary for public relations purposes (or to save a little face for the White House where someone should have noticed the glare sooner.)

The CIA's imperious Sun Leo-Moon Scorpio blend is shared natally by Steve Martin ('King' Tut!), Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, and King Louis XVI. The blend has two 'Images for Integration' which may or may not to seem to apply to the CIA:

The Stellar Week of May 5, 2014 and a Joking President

Beginning with Cinco de Mayo on Monday, the week of May 5, 2014 picks up cosmic steam just after the Taurus Solar Eclipse of April 29, 2014. But the real steam will be more apparent once Mars turns direct on May 19th and forges ahead into June toward the next sign, Scorpio, where Mars reigns in tandem with powerful, subversive Pluto's sub-rulership.

A peek at today's horoscope of the 'fiscal cliff' meeting between President Obama, the four House leaders, and VP Biden shows 11Gem21 rising with Jupiter Rx @8Gem05, conjunct US natal Uranus 8Gem55. As previously noted, Jupiter to natal Uranus tends to be a time when financial and political matters go smoothly but Jupiter's weakened Rx condition creates delays and glitches as banker Jupiter has crossed and recrossed our national Uranus, planet of change and disruption.

Called for 3:00 pm est, an Hour of the Moon (fluctuations, changes, instability, publicity--a PR exercise?), the YOD of recent and future days is now joined by the Sun @7Cap30 approaching Pluto @9Cap12 which adds complexity (and hopefully leadership) to the crisis-ridden stalemate and gives an additional midpoint picture with positive potential to consider:

Sun-Saturn = Jupiter: break up of a relatonship or value system for eventual recovery and gain; the cloud with the silver lining. (Tyl.)

Does this support a happy resolution based on today's meeting? Not so fast! For among other factors, chart-ruler Mercury @25Sag46 ('26Sag' = "A Flag-Bearer in Battle") is out-of-bounds of the Earthly plane and up to who knows what, is deposited by Jupiter in Gemini (a 'friendly' mutual reception) which is Rx, and makes no applying aspects at all...only a lonely separating semi-square with Saturn in business-oriented Scorpio, in the 6th house of Preparation.

There is, however, a high-flying KITE pattern of potential success with its tail the recently Full Moon (at 5:21 am est today), now @11Can55, in 2nd house of the National Treasury, though one must use Chiron @5Pis54 to complete the KITE pattern--Neptune is slightly out of orb. (This Chiron is at President Obama's natal 1st house Chiron degree, 5:19.) As the tail wagging the KITE, the Moon's Sabian Symbol seems appropriate to mention since US debt and credit are at issue: '12Can' = "A Chinese Woman Nursing a Baby with a Message." Hmmm...no comment.

As mentioned above, the Sun (leader) approaches wealthy puppetmaster Pluto when the president may receive an extra boost of power to get matters settled though I'm not certain the deal will be completely to the liking of those who re-elected him--those who still, unlike the radical Utopians who've taken over the Republican Party, believe that government retains a responsible and accountable role in our lives.

And though I hope today's meeting will bring solutions, it isn't very promising with Mercury's condition and lack of applying aspects for Mercury rules meetings, agreements, and deals.

So I shall emphasize again the importance of Jupiter's Direct Station of January 30, 2013 @6Gem19, and of its subsequent forward movement into April, then late June, when financial matters may also move forward along with the Great Benefic.

RNC 8.28.12 and the Spirit of Margaret Sanger

Today, August 28, 2012, the belated RNC 2012 opens with the presidential nomination of Willard Mitt Romney and the adoption of the austere, hard-hearted, poverty increasing platform of the Republican Party. Let the longed-for catapulting of American women back to 18th and 19th century social and economic conditions begin, say Mitt and the gang!

Since the GOP has its raptor's eye upon both women's reproductive rights and financial prospects for the future, it must be a grand day for the Todd Akin, Paul Ryan, and the rest of the mysoginistic party of Mitt Romney who intends to act as White House mouthpiece and propaganda-catapulter (as George W. Bush so ably summed up his presidential role) as soon as the moving van is loaded and heads, he hopes, for Washington D.C.

Now what astrological factors might we consider which include the confluence of Romney, the GOP, American women, and the cosmic portents of the day? Why, it's something quite basic and yet a major clue for what GOPers intend to force upon this country and it may be at least partially described within the Sun-Moon blend details for August 28, 2012: Sun in finnicky Virgo and the Moon reaching 00AQ00 at around 1:40 pm edt (horoscope set for Tampa, Florida.)

Later in the evening, the Moon in Aquarius will oppose the natal Moon position of Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood among other accomplishments and human foibles (as mentioned in an earlier post.) Sanger's (nee Higgins) birth data is as follows:

September 14, 1879 2:30 am Corning, NY; ASC 13Leo42; MC 2Tau37; Sun 21Vir06; Moon 25Leo37; a 'New Age thinking' Mercury-Uranus conjunction in health-conscious Virgo gave her willful genius and original ideas ahead of their time, and a Mars-Pluto conjunction gave strength, force, and power to her actions and motivations which made her a formidable lady. One arrow in her quiver I must denounce, however, is her adherence to eugenics (engineering human anatomy in order to "improve" it by weeding out those who are considered "unfit" for parental duties and are thus excluded from reproduction.) We see this today with politicians who have the survival of the fittest mentality (aka, Social Darwinianism), and some of them adopted a political platform this very day although they attempt to veil its draconianism. How's that slogan for illustrating psychopathic high-handedness? Think to 'stand in for' God much? Certain theocrats are in high gear tonight in Tampa, partying with Plutocrats and salivating over taking control of America's helm again. Why, the presidency and the White House are so close, Mitt and Paul can fairly taste them!!

8.28.12: Moon to 00AQ00 conjoins US presidential Suns of January 20th

First, check out Margaret Sanger's bio and natal chart here if you wish. Now let's talk about the Sun Vir-Moon AQ blend for today's RNC 2012 opening, nomination of Romney, and platform adoption along with a few quotes from two men who share this blend natally while remembering that these flavors are hereby imprinted upon the Republican Party and their plans for America forever more--will we reject their regressive, backward efforts on November 6th or will we embrace the dusty past?

Sun Vir-Moon AQ is an Earth-Air combo of energies which can be innovative, efficient, and above all, rational. Practical idealists, these jokers aren't playing around and many plans have been laid for the implementation of their ideas and vision which, though they appeal to fundamentalist religious types, contain additional requirements which will have even the most conservative Christians wondering where Truth went as they look back on the glowing promises of RNC 2012.

Yet we know that losing touch with the emotional and compassionate side of life leads to becoming 'dry as dust' and this is a danger that GOPers think doesn't matter at all once they're ensconced in power, for at the moment, all seems rosy. Later it will be a different story if the 'Republic Party' should finagle the White House and/or take over Capitol Hill one more time (when will we ever learn that these self-interested, detached from normal human contact Vulcans are unfit themselves--unfit to rule over an inclusive society of decent people who know that yes, we are indeed our brothers' keepers?)

Sun Vir-Moon AQ (with humanitarian Aquarius being the sign of our US natal Moon of July 4, 1776, aka, we the people) is a blend of the progressive thinker (but to whose advantage?) It denotes reliability, pragmatism, and dispassionate critical faculties. There's a tendency to seem a bit 'wooden' which to me, describes Mitt Romney's posture when he's forced to be a fish out of his accustomed financial and/or religious waters, a symptom of a cultist mentality.

There exists a sense of humor, yes, though the level of practical jokes at the expense of others is apparently more Mitt's style within the comedic sphere. Valuing rules and order in society is important to this blend, and industriousness aids in career success though financial gains may be made by the sweat of other brows, as with Vulture Capitalists everywhere (Romney's unfeeling Saturn-Pluto conjunction in prodigal Leo snugs around his natal IC and affects his career actions.)

Untouched by his own passions, today's blend describes a Mitt Romney who is a quite a people-watcher and this seems to be what he bases his own human-type behavior upon when in public--and yet he makes an admirable domestic companion which will be reflected in and by wife Anne's RNC 2012 speech meant to clue us in on the very private yet Real Mitt Romney.

Negatively, Sun Vir-Moon AQ has a tendency to focus on black and white facts, writes the Harveys in their book, Sun Sign-Moon Sign (no, I didn't make that up for President Obama's sake!) and it over-invests in perfection which their followers presume will be the outcome of a Romney-Ryan administration. Instead, perhaps all American trees must be trimmed to the 'right' height!

Wonder if the rank and file would feel the same about the 2012 GOP platform if they considered the "Images for Integration" which are imprinted upon this day in RNC history (thanks to Hurricane Isaac's interference), the nomination of Mr. Romney, and the GOP platform for 2012 and beyond...

"Images for Integration" (of Sun/male principle and Moon/feminine principle):

"Aliens land and embark on building a new and improved world order...Staring into a microscope, a scientist sees the past and future write large." (Sun Sign-Moon Sign.)

Return of the Freaks! These Images address a blending of Germany's past eugenics experiments which meddled painfully with human genetics with who-knows-what science projects on today's and tomorrow's drawing boards (clones and human-robotic hybrids?) Add to those the Science of medical issues such as contraception, methods of reproduction, and abortion (surgery in back alleys again, ladies?), and on August 28, 2012, Sun Vir-Moon AQ melds them all into the plans of yet another team of 'New World Order' proponents and activists (who are actually members of all American political parties, Rs, Ds, and Ls, at the least) with many Rs being more rabid and zealous toward such cold-hearted, authoritarian aims---modern-day proponents who share Hitler's old vision of uniting the entire world under a ham-fisted Global Goverment, Meanwhile, the needs and desires of 'common' people are dissed in favor of funding Vulcan's swords and weapons manufacturing for the sole purpose of instigating mass destruction and, in America, stomping out our constitutional rights. Nice crowd. They must be glad their convention was missed by Hurricane Isaac's Thor-ish Hammer.

Now let's close with three quotes, the first two by gentlemen who share in their natal charts the Sun Vir-Moon AQ blend, the third from Margaret Sanger herself:

How daft and non-pragmatic is that!?

And yet they are as serious as transformative assassin Pluto creeping through the structured, systemic, status-quo, governmental, usually law-abiding sign of Capricorn and still within range of opposition to America's natal Venus, Jupiter, and soon, our natal Sun (leadership), a picture of an ongoing, titanic power struggle against superior plutonic forces of wealth and station. Can *Mitt the squirmy, flip-flopping Fish successfully meet such a grand archetypal challenge while acting in the theatric role of US president? His Anglo-Saxon self can if he's on underworld Pluto's side.

When chart-rulers are Rx you know something is amiss or at least, there will be delay in the areas that planet rules, and money, largess, and expansion are part of Jupiter's realm.

Well, I don't know precisely what President Lee expects from Washington (a lot, I'll wager) with his shady "free" trade agreement but that 'vague hope' is known by a majority of American workers to be a pile o'merde when it comes to 'jobs creation' in the US...outsourcing of jobs is much more likely.

Of interest in relation to the US government is a midpoint at Midheaven (The Goal; Aspirations; Public Status) with these potentials for expression:

President's Weekly Address July 16, 2011 (video)

President Obama has one of his weekly 'bully pulpit' messages for us which spotlights US economic issues and the theatrical Default Stand-Off with his usual well-crafted, seemingly direct approach.

Yes, yes, of course I agree that "we're all in this together." It's just that a select few are a lot more in than together with the rest of us.

Such as the frisky elitist movers'n'shakers now frolicking together and exclusively under the shade trees of Bohemian Grove...

FDR tests our progress, White House debt meeting 7.13.11

As the debt ceiling-budget stand-off continues in Washington DC with Republicans drooling over their big chance to roll back FDR's New Deal programs and slash the tires on LBJ's Great Society jalopy, some words from Franklin Roosevelt's Inaugural speech of Jan 20, 1937 seem appropriate for the short-sighted on Capitol Hill.

Actually, I believe theses Utopians are very long-sighted since the plan to change the course of America (from what we-the-people have always been led to believe it is) is coming to austere fruition before our eyes (austere for us, dandy fine for them, they think.)

So being more on the side of FDR-style politics in times of financial troubles, and wishing the best for the American people if not for the radical, success-at-any-cost politicians now infesting Capitol Hill, I'm republishing a brief excerpt from FDR which for me sums up much of the question of 'what sort of country do we wish America to be?'

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."

Since progressive Uranus is America's totem planet of independence and freedom, the current transit of asteroid Midas in the range of 8 to 9 Gemini places the Midases of the world directly upon US natal Uranus 8Gem55.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich just said on the House floor, "Stop playing political games with Social Security." For whatever good it does, thanks, Mr. Kucinich. In spite of what Republicans say over and over, Social Security is hardly an "unfunded entitlement program" since by law workers pay into it (some of us pay 100% of the tax because we are self-employed) - the fund has been stolen blind by Congress, and we're left with an I.O.U. which now the GOP doesn't want to pay back. They don't want to pay on the credit card account Bush-Cheney ran up for 8 years either and they knew what they were doing when they passed the indebted baton on to President Obama, a Democrat.

Part of a long-range plan!

Now here are two more FDR quotes which vibrate all through the current financial impasse in Washington DC along side the quote mentioned above:

“Don’t forget what I discovered that over ninety percent of all national deficits from 1921 to 1939 were caused by payments for past, present, and future wars.”

“Not only our future economic soundness but the very soundness of our democratic institutions depend on the determination of our government to give employment to idle men.”

Save money, oil, and gas: stop our foreign wars! Or have war profiteers begin picking up the tab which is really theirs anyway.

Meanwhile, though jobs are elusive in our nation and this greatly reduces receipts for the US Treasury Department with which to pay our bills, Capitol Hillers are embroiled over the incandescent light bulb ban issuing from the bill signed by George Bush to wipe out the cheaper bulbs in favor of the more expensive variety which, here in the room where I type, casts a gentle glow from a lamp in similar fashion to mood lighting and which is hardly sufficient for seeing what you need to see.

As for this afternoon's debt meeting at the White House @ 4:00 pm edt, 21Sco26 rises with the austere Moon/Saturn midpoint in tow. Moon '4Cap' = "A Party Entering a Large Canoe" and naturally one must wonder which political party this may refer to: the Democrats joining in with the extreme austrity measures of the GOP? Or the Republicans backing out of the no-tax-hike corner they put themsleves into by listening to the likes of Grover Norquist and Karl Rove? We'll see if any changes occur today within this ideological stand-off which threatens to make social-financial conditions much much worse for the American people who now struggle to get by.

Can a total collapse of America by these chaos-creating Utopians be avoided?

Obama administration turns heavy-handed with reporter

Whoa, it seems the Obama administration has a beef against a free press. Or should a reporter breaking a politician's rule be overlooked?

This incident could resound in a loud tsk tsk upon the administration's promised transparency. But they all promise transparency as they walk in the White House door, don't they? Old secrets await them and new secrets pile up as the presidential days tick by.

And isn't it funny about the word, free?

The job market in the US has been decimated in recent decades by so-called free trade (and its elusive "benefits" for the ruling class) while undermining forces have worked to consolidate, control content, and thus destroy America's free press. So trade that isn't free is called free and a free press becomes enslaved = non-free, yet is called a free press.

Doublespeaks Alive!

To me it seems tragic that the current crop of reptilian power-grabbers of the world were ever allowed to read George Orwell's novels because they apparently took his doom-filled prophecies of a totalitarian state to heart and have used that and other knowledge as their How-To guide toward global enslavement.

While I first read Orwell in high school and was horrified at his vision of the future, they read him and were inspired to take action against all mankind.

Funny how different people can be.

Zeeks, There's a Royal Wedding on My TV!

Sure enough, on schedule, the car carrying now-Kathryn Middleton to Westminster Abbey and into the arms of her royal fate arrived there at 11:00 am London Time (6:00 am EDT) and though I am no monarchist, I couldn't resist posting one of my Wedding Day Astrology Reports using an 11:00 am horoscope, if you wish to have a view and read a few brief notes on their partnership based on Astrology's 'marriage' pair of lights, the Sun (male) and Moon (female.)

11:20 am: the Archbishop of Canterbury pronounces them man and wife.

Whew! Glad that's done. The rest of the day should be a coast. My felicities to the happy couple!
