When it comes to war, who better to become spies than actors already accustomed to hiding their true identities? The lists of anti-Nazi spies of World War Two are now known to include several famous actresses and actors whose secret activities were successfuly concealed - everyone recognized them so passports were seldom if ever checked, their appearances in certain venues were distracting, they knew how to schmooze with anyone while gathering information, and they could travel wherever they wished.

For example, the very popular Josephine Baker spied for her beloved France as she traveled with invisible-inked intel written on sheet music sewn into her clothes. Well done!

Please note that this post is inspired by watching an intriguing 52-minute video this morning: The crucial role of Hollywood spies--from Cary Grant to Marlene Dietrich and Greta Garbo.

Sounds like yet another reason the current crop of fascists such as Tr*mp and the 'maga' GOP 'hate' Hollywood and the film industry Jews therein - it's an old grudge they hold against people in the WWII era who stood in the way of Hitl*r's Nazi world domination agenda.

Well, I'm very glad they did! Now the estimable Taylor Swift, with her ability to inspire new voter registrations, a pro-democracy move, probably won't be welcomed at Mar-a-Lago any time soon. For as The Independent put it a few days ago, Taylor Swift call to action drives 13,000 people every 30 minutes to voter registration site. So that's another well done!

Meanwhile, it just so happens that three of the Hollywood actors mentioned in the video have previously been profiled on my Neptune's Silver Screen blog of celebrity horoscopes, trailers, and photos.

Yet as far as I know, Mr. Connery was only play acting and not a real spy at all--but Ian Fleming had been!

So let's close on a more current note: a recent question posed by a BBC writer but perhaps you already know the answer, If Trump isn't a spy, why is be being charged under the Espionage Act? After all, 'agent orange' faces only 31 charges over stolen documents. So far!

That the world is once again under sway and under threat by a psychotic fantasist is a tragic condition which must be overcome by reality. The primary historical example, of course, is the Austrian Adolf Hitler, past dictator of Germany and a fantasist on steroids. Word is, Adolf refused to look at the horrors of destruction his "vision" had caused such as his own wounded soldiers. He blocked out the unpleasant which is what in our day Herr Trump must do in order to keep his world domination fantasy intact and spinning in his own head, his 'Big Lie' fantasy supported financially by donations from his gullible cult members and his fellow enemies of America.

And some sources say that Hitler's drug use exacerbated a bi-polar condition. Wonder how Trump's use of Adderall exacerbates his mental condition? But wait! Donald's years-long drug use is probably only unsubstantiated gossip! If false, it means that his perceptions skewed by an inability to face reality are entirely his own little red wagon, no excuses.

Now anyone paying attention realizes that another coup of the White House in 2024 is Trump's only hope for his vengeful version of totalitarian success, and for the pardoning of his scofflaw crimes including espionage, despite the concentrated efforts of legal eagle Saturn, planet of law and order. Yes, Trump hopes to sidestep Saturn's demand for accountability, as do his complicit comrades.

Even Trump's 'Big Lie' and its utilization is based on advice from Hitler's propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels (AA-rated horoscope shown). Check out his fantasy-prone planetary aspects such as a spin-worthy Mercury-Neptune trine, and a T-Square made up of a Moon-Neptune-opposition square his broadcasting Jupiter @00Libra, a Cardinal World Point of manifestation and fame. Goebbels' Venus-Pluto trine added intense passion to his financial irregularities and relationship difficulties.

As for 'big dreamer' Trump, we've previously discussed Moon-Neptune as a cosmic signature of the mass delusion (Moon: the public; Neptune: delusion; the masses; mass media) that some of the world's population remains mesmerized by, most significantly in the US thanks to the approximately 30% of us under the influence of the Trump cult that exists inside, and revels within, Donald's fantasy world. This anti-reality tragedy is supported by independent news sources and by a corporate media hungry for profit as they work to fulfill the Hitlerian take-over dream of the past. And who can forget That Time a GOP Gaggle Spent July 4th (2018) in Moscow? Wonder if Herr Trump had given them secret documents to deliver to their bosses?

Yesterday the news broke of a major transition at the head of Fox and Fox News Corp, that Papa Rupert had anointed son Lachlan Murcdoch to carry on; however, Papa says he'll be "watching." Apparently, Lachlan has been "groomed" since birth to carry the Murdoch family torch - now, into an uncertain future. Word is that Laclan is more authoritarian than his father, but Laclan did, after all, have an experienced teacher. Notable is that yesterday into today, the Sun conjoins Lachlan's natal Pluto so his power potential (carrying his Sun-Uranus 'radical reformist' vibes) are in the spotlight, a global spotlight.

Below, see the aspect grid of multiple squares and oppositions within their dynamic relationship. Even their natal Suns are in opposite signs!

Born with a significant midpoint picture of power, rebellion, radical reforms, and a potential for tragedy (Pluto = Sun-Uranus), Mr. Murdoch the Younger is a radical reformer (R. 118th Congress w/ Govt Shutdown Oct 1, 2023

Just a quick posting of a bi-wheel of DC Horoscopes: the 118th Congress (inner) surrounded by a chart showing the possible GOP government shutdown (outer) set for October 1, 2023 12:00 am EDT, Capitol Building. Why quick? Because the shutdown may not happen at all, and because my time is as valuable as any of the Utopian idealists now working to sabotage the House of Representatives in their determination to destroy the US Congress, the US Justice System, and the federal government via the White House -- in words, our three branches of government are obstacles to their take-over agenda as is the US Constitution.

Of course, harming President Biden in case it boosts Republicans in November 2024 would be a bonus of causing yet another shutdown, they think, and the collateral damage to the US economy and to the lives of the American people - well these are only necessary side issues for the GOP. They'll even blame Democrats for any negative shutdown consequences if they can! And significant damage to the US Military is well underway thanks to Mr. Tuberville.

Yet this hostage scheme hasn't worked well for Republicans before but we do get to marvel at their neurotic activity as a head-against-wall exercise while expecting different outcomes. Be sure to note the Neptune/MC notes penned on, upper middle.

Meanwhile at home, the GOP's aberrant, underhanded behavior allows the American public and the entire world to witness them (self-styled ultra-magas) as they follow orders from their overlords, enemies of the US, both foreign and domestic. Why, even their cult idol Herr Trump must act under orders even though his mind is so addled lately he thinks he ran a race against President Obama!

Dear GOP: The love of money is the root of all evil

An article by Michael Hirsh in today's magazine edition of Politico, Inside the Next Republican Revolution, elucidates the battle between conservatives in league with ex-president Donald Trump and what he considers to be his "nemesis," the "deep state," which in reality is the federal bureaucracy of Washington DC, aka, the federal workers whose efforts make the US government perk along. Note that Trump's natal Nemesis @16Can40 is posited in his natal 11th house as are his Saturn and Venus in Cancer (June 14, 1946).

Now it may be that government bureaucracy has grown too wieldy for our very busy and populated nation, but Trumpers' plan to completely purge and destroy various agencies is the longterm GOP agenda to collapse and destroy the US government so that a dystopian, anti-democratic fascist regime can be more easily implemented (with the GOP in power forever). Obviously, the "Reagan Revolution' of the 1980s is implicated through Neoliberalism's "trickle down" scam now on the skids under President Biden's policies, along with Reagan's other anti-societal policies during the 1980s' Decade of Greed which championed the GOP's highly lucrative Worship Of Mammon.

So the Politico article linked, above, begins with Paul Dans of the Heritage Foundation, an MIT-educated lawyer, now leading a "team of former Trump officials" who are preparing a new "America First" agenda, aka, Project 2025, which at its core, is a fascist agenda.

And admittedly, for years on SO'W I've fussed about a multiplicity of sinister GOP plans through solar eclipses and other cosmic signposts so I'll simply add to this post a list of previous post links for those who care about the future of our country and don't mind using the lens of Astrology for investigative purposes. Recognizing the Evil Confronting Us

During the spite-filled years of the kleptocratic "Trump era," many commentators, historians, politicians, and political pundits have called out a variety of negative conditions as being "existential threats" facing society but few if any of them have put the primary threat at the very basis of the problem. This, of course, is the primary threat in my opinion so let's consider the topic bwo astrological principles since SO'W tends to investigate issues through a Political Astrology lens - admittedly, with a common good slant.

Yet it isn't as if the dreary topic of evil hasn't turned up here before: a basic discussion in 2022 concerning the karmic planetary pair of evil appeared in a previous post, America's Initial Saturn-Pluto Cycle, when the 'clock of evil forces' began ticking for our nation. In fact, if one wished it, every position of both Saturn and Pluto during the intervening years can be compared with the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction Horoscope of 1777 if one had the interest and the time to do so.

And yes, we must eternally remind ourselves that our world is one of duality, that good and evil, positive and negative, light and dark, yin and yang, etc. are for all earthlings to ponder and manage a dichotomy that is part of the human condition - and which gives us --

Two Earthly Paths: The High Road or The Low Road

The main point of this post is my contention that some people choose to trod the low road and commit evil acts upon his/her fellow man/woman. These malcontents can't be happy unless other people are miserable. By their fruits we shall know them, and evil is their chosen fruit.

Well all right, such topics are well beyond the scope of a SO'W post but we can still display two DC Horoscopes: first, the current Saturn-Pluto Conjunction of January 20, 2020 @22Cap46 (worth keeping an eye on for transits, etc); and the November 12, 2020 Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction which ties wealthy elites, their bankers, and anti-democracy corporate titans into the cosmic cycle of Saturn-Pluto evil - the two conjunctions occurring a mere 8 days apart - so that's two significant cosmic clocks beginning in January and November 2020, the very year of Election 2020 when modern-day fascists of The Bie Lie made their stand to take over America, and big donations, some of them 'dark money', fueled political campaigns that culminated in November 2020:

Distressingly enough, the 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction landed directly upon the natal Vertex of one Donald Trump, the 'VX' being a point of 'fated encounters' but can also relate to 'wish fulfillment'. We should also note that, at the opposite end of the axis (similar to the ASC-DESC polarity), Trump's Anti-Vertex conjuncts his 11th house Saturn in watery Cancer which provides a double-Saturn emphasis to the 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction and connects his "build a wall" scam with his acts of evil at the Southern border. Plus, you know that planet Saturn has been called, the "old devil," (Dr. Liz Greene). Well, don't look now, but a certain 'old devil' is running for POTUS in 2024.

Jim Jones and Trump's Tisiphone

Now feeling cornered (my interpretation of scofflaw Trump's current behavior), the you-knew-I-was-a-snake con man Donald Trump, who's facing an astonishing amount of legal charges and indictments intended to hold him accountable under the law for his crimes, the potential exists for megalomaniac Trump to experience narcissist collapse. Yet for now, Herr T continues fighting opponents, for his combative Mars rising in proud Leo doesn't know how to give up - and he's always been a cutthroat competitor.

These conditions, plus, planetary contacts between two narcissistic death-cult leaders, Trump and Jim Jones, resonate within the abusive conditions, personalities, events, and twisted motives behind the Jonestown Massacre of November 18, 1978. Add to this the possibility that Trump may experience a similarly tragic collapse wrapped up with the retribution he threatens vengefully to mete out if he manages to grab the helm of the Oval Office in 2024/2025. Or even if he doesn't regain control of the White House again, one assumes.

Because retribution is the orange grudge-holder's dearest dream with asteroid Tisiphone as its archetypal symbol in a chart. So when Herr T says he's his followers' "retribution," he really means it: Trump's natal Tisiphone @22Sag54 Rx falls upon his natal Sun-NN/Moon SN axis, conjunct his Moon - and natal Moon reveals the reigning need!

Notable in the Lindaland forum, I found further descriptions of Tisphone as "the killer's conscience personified," and, being one of the Furies, Tisiphone represents "vigilante homocide," as Trump's 'maga' coup attempt of thuggery showed on January 6, 2021. In a word, murder, which resonates with Trump's 12th house midpoint picture: Pluto = Mars-Saturn: 'fury, destruction, the deaths of many people' (R. Ebertin).

As for the tragic Jonestown Massacre, Congressman Leo Ryan (D-CA; May 5, 1925--Nov 18, 1978) paid a visit to Jonestown with some journalists, then as they were boarding a plane home from Port Kaituma, Jim Jones ordered their assassinations. Evangelical preacher-turned-megalomaniac Jim Jones was a malignant narcissist who led what turned out to be, not just a cult, but a death cult, and its failure - his failure and subsequent death - is an example of a narcissistic collapse. Unable to accept failure and retain the fantasy, Jones' psychological collapse resulted in 918 deaths including Rep. Leo Ryan, may he R.I.P.

Then if you're like me, the tragic example of Jim Jones reminds you of egomaniac Trump's 12th house Pluto @10Leo conjunct his Mars-Saturn midpoint which is the "death axis," in a horoscope, as noted above. This provides a midpoint picture of negative potentials for brutality, the rage of destruction; intervening of a higher power, bodily injury or harm; murder, death of many people (The Combination of Stellar Influences #ad). My hope is that the intervention by a higher power is the US Justice System holding the lifelong criminal and seditionist accountable.

Are there Mars-Saturn signatures of fatality in the natal horoscope of Jim Jones?

Jonestown Massacre November 18, 1978 Georgetown, Guyana

Now a while back, expert astrologer Eric Francis published an excellent analysis of Jones and Jonestown. In fact, a view of the Jonestown Massacre Horoscope is available but I'm not certain where his timing comes from: 5:20:00 pm BZT3. With 24Tau06 rising, this places the nasty, enraged star Algol on the horizon in that location, on that date, so this is the chart I've added to my files.

So by now, you've perhaps read Thom Hartmann's 2022 article, Is something called 'narcissist collapse' coming to America?" If so, this would be compliments of America's current malignant narcissist, Donald Trump. For as presidents go, so goes America. And Donald is not even president anymore if indeed he ever was! Now you may disagree, but I've always maintained that the Mango Mussolini only played the role of POTUS on TV (badly), and he's a serial fantasist, as we know, with his Mercury-Neptune square of misperception, deception, and a tendency to create his own version of reality, aka, a fantasy world. Trump's Degrees and the Oct 2023 Eclipse

7 South Eclipse Spotlights Trump's Biological Degrees

When the October 14, 2023 Solar Eclipse in the 7 South Saros Series manifests @21Lib07, it lands directly upon the 3rd cusp (21Lib09) of Donald Trump's natal chart with the 3rd house relating to health issues as does the 6th. Of course, an individual's age is an important consideration in health matters and everyone knows he's approaching the advanced age of 80 in June 2026.

And if you're anything like me, you consider the initial eclipse of any Saros Series by its historical events, but also because an eclipse's sign may be used as a lens through which subsequent eclipses in that Series can be viewed. In the case of the Libra eclipse in October 2023, the initial 7 South Eclipse of June 22, 1248 (OS) occurred @8Can03, landing directly upon the as-yet-unborn Trump's natal Mercury (8Can51). Therefore, in October 2023, and into 2024, we consider Venus-ruled Libra through a Lunar Cancerian lens which reveals Moon-Venus influences.

"Moon = bodily fluids, lymph (cerebellum), blood serum, fertility," and "Venus = glandular products (veins, kidneys)" (R. Ebertin).

More specifically, if we consult Reinhold Ebertin's Biological Correspondence list we find that the Moon-Venus pairing relates to "glandular secretions (hormones, ferments in the stage of generation)."

Then, since the initial 7 South Eclipse occurred in Cancer, his natal Mercury's rounded-up degree of "9Cancer" (with Mercury's link to 3rd house matters and to the mind-body connection) we can consult our SolarFire software to find that his Mercury links to the pylorus, which connects the stomach to the duodenum.

Then Mr. Trump's rising Mars in Leo reveals an interesting medical correlation for "27Leo": chordiae tendinae, aka, the heart strings! And his prominent, stationary Jupiter @18Libra? "Fatty capsule of the kidneys." What about his 12th house Pluto @11Leo which conjuncts his Mars-Saturn midpoint, the "death axis"? The subclavian vein.

Now admittedly, I have gone through all the planetary degrees, angles, and cusps in Trump's natal horoscope for their Biological Correspondences, however, with a copy of Ebertin's book (or other sources), you can do this, too. For Trump they include more renal implications, plus, brain, liver, back, Achilles tendon of the left foot, right linguinal lymph nodes, and the "head of the humerus" (shoulder).

Then his Saturn, planet of blockages and obstructions, is of interest @24Cancer due to its link with blood vessels of the digestive organs. Well, he is of a hefty weight so the pressure within must be significant.

Then in closing, there's one degree and Biological Correspondence which must be included and it's his "22Libra" 3rd cusp degree for that is where the 7 South October 14, 2023 Solar Eclipse lands with its Themes of "immense power, anger, and force" and "sudden crisis, or, a huge obstacle suddenly clears" (B. Brady).

And biologically? That would be, the October 2023 Eclipse spotlight @22Libra: "renal veins." As for his 6th house cusp with transit Pluto knocking at its door (!), that's "2Aquarius": left tibial nerve in the sciatic region.

Now any, all, or none of these Biological Correspondences may apply, now or never, but I thought since Trump's health continues to be fodder for public discourse, and because he wants to play POTUS again and complete the damage he started, this would be a good time to venture a peek at the fellow's natal degrees in the realm of medical potentials.

Right-wing operative Leonard Leo of SCOTUS-stacking fame, and long time VP of the conservative-libertarian Federalist Society is now under investigation by DC Attorney General Brian Schwalb - see details in The Guardian, Leonard Leo Under Investigation in Washington DC.

Up until now, Mr. Leo's birth date has been elusive but has apparently turned up thanks to master astrologer Marjorie Orr. Other astrologers may have it, too, but Marjorie's Star4Cast website is where I discovered it first, however, her source is unknown to me.

So below are two images of Leonard Leo's 'noon' natal horoscope, the first with a bunch of my study notes squooshed upon it, the second the same natal horoscope set for November 1, 1965, no aspect grid, unmarked and suitable for printing or whatever:

Sept 13, 2023 UPDATE: Another birth date and location have turned up for Mr. Leo. Below is an unmarked 'noon' chart image set for November 7, 1965 Northport, New York. His 3 North PE and Syzygy Moon remain the same as noted, above, however, a Sun Scorpio-Moon Aries personality blend is more combative and confrontational with Scorpio and Aries both ruled by warrior planet, Mars. So obviously, unless a verified source appears, the topic of Leonard Leo's natal horoscope will be an ongoing enigma suitable for such a controversial man who prefers secrecy!

So when we look astrologically for high finance, corporate banking, the Federal Reserve banking system, and America's money concerns we soon must consider the high stakes planetary combination of Jupiter and Pluto. A previous post, written prior to the current government shutdown/credit downgrade drama forced upon us by House Republicans provides a view of the Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction of November 12, 2020, part of the 13-year Jupiter-Pluto Cycle now influencing financial matters.

Occurring at 22Cap51, the conjunction landed upon the natal Vertex of one Donald Trump for whose approval the maga House members stage all their clown shows and political kerfuffles, hoping to blame President Biden for the negative consequences of their actions, and thus affect outcomes in the 2024 Election - in their favor!

And yet we know that Republicans engage in such underhanded measures no matter the collateral damage to the public because GOP policies are anti-constitutional, anti-democratic, fascistic, and are intended to collapse the US government "small enough to drown it in a bath tub," as Republican Grover Norquist so instructively informed us years ago. Jupiter's Zodiacal Path 2023 Into 2024

As you know, the GOP and their comrades, both foreign and domestic, are working hard to crash the US economy and may shut down the government once again because they hope that President Biden will be blamed in time for Election 2024, and that Republican candidates, such as they are, will be victorious in November 2024 - despite all common sense to the contrary.

Well, since the GOP's authoritarian agenda is harmful and brutal, how else can they 'stand for election'? It isn't as if Republicans can be open and honest with voters about their anti-societal, anti-constitutional, anti-democratic, misogynistic "policies," now can they? Plus, most folks realize that Nazism was tried and found wanting decades ago, so which society in its right mind would want to make such a hideous mistake again?

Since our good news planet Jupiter is known as The Great Benefic perhaps his example, influence, and protective function can help steer us toward Election year 2024!

Therefore, let's consider The Path of Jupiter from 2023 into Election Year 2024, with the planet's Zodiacal journey having begun on January 1, 2023 with Jupiter @1Aries (just beyond the Aries Point), and ending December 31, 2023 with Jupiter @5Taurus. His stay in comfort-loving Taurus extends until he reaches Gemini in late May 2024, a sign through which Jupiter tends to relate to others with his more carefree and loquacious qualities, but the Mercurial placement can also be on the superficial side at times. And obviously, travel-loving Jupiter in chatty Gemini suggests a larger volume of communications including the technological kind, plus, an emphasis may become more obvious regarding Jupiter's hierophant leanings. But first, some basics concerning Jupiter and Venus, with finances and funding as key elements, of course, but also Jupiter is active in such fields of endeavor as politics, legal affairs, religion, broadcasting, propaganda, ideology, philosophy, higher education, corporate enterprises, travel, and discovery. Then with Venus on a positive level: relationships, diplomacy, beauty, and luxury are involved. The negatives such as jealousy, envy, and revenge you already know. With negative Jupiter, it's often a question of overdoing issues, recklessly speculating, and/or overpromising with overblown, grandstanding, or boasting rhetoric. So basically, Jupiter can represent the windbag personality who loves the sound of his own voice. You know the type.

Potentials of Jupiter in Venus-ruled Taurus include:

Generosity; liberality; trusteeship; love of comfort; the capacity for enjoyment; financial interests; wastefulness; illness through excessive pleasures; the urge to gain financial security (R. Ebertin). I would add humor and comedy to his list!

Then there's Venus, symbolizing smaller amounts of money - and showing her more avaricious side when in Taurus - but in Leo, Venus indicates a love of luxury, romance, pleasure, games, and entertainment.

September 4, 2023: Jupiter turns Retrograde ('Rx') @15Tau34 between Moon and Uranus (grand ambitions: to shut down the US government? or to improve the economy?); on December 30, 2023, Jupiter turns Direct @5Tau34 with the 12th house Moon @25Leo25 as the focus of activity (as handle planet of a Bucket pattern; 12th house = behind the scenes; are ladies and/or their issues secretly directing the action?).

And of course, manipulative Pluto, still within orb of our transformative US Pluto Return/s, has the most filthy lucre of all: there 'he' is, sneaking around the IC, the Foundation of the Matter, as Jupiter turned Rx September 4th. Then by the end of 2023, there's Venus in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius conjunct the IC instead which suggests that things may pan out optimistically, after all, if the stability of US currency isn't under more threat than usual of being discarded.

Annoyingly, those familiar with the natal positions of Trump's planets will recognize that the Leo Moon reflects the abrasive rising Mars in his natal chart. Try as I might, the blighter's natal and progressed planets continue to assert themselves in every horoscope I study. Have you found this to be the case, too? We should add a final note: that banking planet Jupiter turns Direct in late December 2023 while sextile US 1776 Jupiter (5Can56), and when in Taurus, Mr. Moneybags, scion of corporations everywhere, tends to treat the US Treasury and the economy fairly well - except for foreigners and their domestic shills who have a habit of raiding our coffers. Plus, our Tuberville-inspired military troubles are in desperate need of resolution since National Security is negatively affected, and Jupiter the General prefers his major role as our nation's protector rather than as a political tool for Mr. Tuberville and his comrades to utilize on behalf of America's enemies.
