Dear GOP: The love of money is the root of all evil

An article by Michael Hirsh in today's magazine edition of Politico, Inside the Next Republican Revolution, elucidates the battle between conservatives in league with ex-president Donald Trump and what he considers to be his "nemesis," the "deep state," which in reality is the federal bureaucracy of Washington DC, aka, the federal workers whose efforts make the US government perk along. Note that Trump's natal Nemesis @16Can40 is posited in his natal 11th house as are his Saturn and Venus in Cancer (June 14, 1946).

Now it may be that government bureaucracy has grown too wieldy for our very busy and populated nation, but Trumpers' plan to completely purge and destroy various agencies is the longterm GOP agenda to collapse and destroy the US government so that a dystopian, anti-democratic fascist regime can be more easily implemented (with the GOP in power forever). Obviously, the "Reagan Revolution' of the 1980s is implicated through Neoliberalism's "trickle down" scam now on the skids under President Biden's policies, along with Reagan's other anti-societal policies during the 1980s' Decade of Greed which championed the GOP's highly lucrative Worship Of Mammon.

So the Politico article linked, above, begins with Paul Dans of the Heritage Foundation, an MIT-educated lawyer, now leading a "team of former Trump officials" who are preparing a new "America First" agenda, aka, Project 2025, which at its core, is a fascist agenda.

And admittedly, for years on SO'W I've fussed about a multiplicity of sinister GOP plans through solar eclipses and other cosmic signposts so I'll simply add to this post a list of previous post links for those who care about the future of our country and don't mind using the lens of Astrology for investigative purposes. Uranus-Pluto: A Pair of Revolutionary Planets and Their Midpoint then and now

Tuesday July 27, 2021: Since the first hearing of the House Select Committee on 1/6 has ended at 1:00 pm edt with intense Mercury-Pluto conjunct Ascendant @26Lib59, and chart-ruler Venus in fact-based Virgo making no applying aspects but squares the Nodal Axis: inappropriate social reactions (by some such as secessionist Republican Taylor Greene - and detailed today by four testifying police officers), I'm adding a link to some of Thom Hartmann's commentary concerning the Biden administration's economic efforts on behalf of our country and people about which, Thom asks, Does the American Rescue Plan Signal the End of the Reagan Revolution?

As he has before, Thom cites Peter Turchin's piece in Nature (published 10 years ago) in which he notes that we would see "massive political upheaval in 2020 because politics tends to go in cycles of around between 40 and 60 years, most often 50 years." And since cycles are the stock in trade for all astrologers, it's only natural that our curiosity should perk up concerning Turchin's prediction, yes? As Above, So Below. Or as some of us think of the concept, "Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven."

Mr. Turchin had then predicted that "we'd see people in the streets" (last year, 2020) "like we hadn't seen since the late 1960s -" and most astrologers easily recognize the riotous influences of the Great Conjunctions of zealous anarchist Uranus, the Utopian rebel, and powerful planet of transformation and death, Pluto, the hidden hand, in the mid-1960s, in mid-Virgo, across the victim-savior axis.

And as I've noted here and elsewhere months ago, the transiting Uranus-Pluto midpoint in mid-Pisces had for some time been precisely opposing the degrees of the Uranus-Pluto Conjunction of the 1960s, a cosmic circumstance I tend to ascribe to a triggering of such rebellious energies of upheaval and social protest against the lack or loss of rights, and, via the Black Lives Matter movement - in 2020 demanding that 'slave patrol' style police officers stop killing people of color which, of course, was triggered primarily by the cruel execution of George Floyd. Add the current transit of Neptune in Pisces opposing US natal Neptune in Virgo and we have racial, social, and religious persecution, in addition to the violent reactions and rebellion against authority made timely by the Saturn-Uranus square in rigid, stubborn Fixed signs as old and new ideas and methods clash.

Then notably today at 1:00 pm edt, we find that the transiting midpoint of Uranus-Pluto has moved on to 19Pis59 - conjunct the 1:00 pm Moon suggesting potentials for 'daring; ambition; determination; intuition; restlessness; bringing about changes by force' (R. Ebertin). Perhaps Luna is Rep. Liz Cheney! Of course, you know that transiting Neptune Rx @22Pis58 is nearby as well and with transit Uranus-Pluto within orb, society's current conditions of 'insecurity, uncertainty', and, for some mentally or emotionaly unbalanced folk, 'neuroses' are unfortunately activated (R. Ebertin).

Bad Policies and Financial Scams Always Make Social Conditions Worse

Then for economic considerations such as financial transformation in the US sometimes called the Reagan Revolution, Thom adds the fact that, "-- 50 years ago, in 1971, the modern conservative era was kicked off with the Powell Memo "(see link, below), "which started building a massive conservative infrastructure and led to the election of Reagan. Like old Confederate statues," Thom continues, "the shine on St. Ronny seems to have turned rather green." Thus the speculation that the 'Reagan Revolution' may finally be ending with Biden initiatives - and taking 40 years of social and economic harm, including the discredited "trickle down" scam against the American people, with it.

If so, it's a case of good riddance and huzzah.

Perhaps the title of the post and my commentary within seemed overblown or hyperbolic to some SO'W readers in 2020 but after the Trump Mob Coup Attempt of January 6th, this may no longer be the case especially for those who recognize the benefits of facing reality no matter how harsh so that our side's Uranus-Pluto energies and other resources can be harnessed to fight back against radical reactionaries of the fascist/neo-nazi persuasion.

The Capitol police officers fought such forces on 1/6, as they testified today to defending Democracy against the violent mob sent there, as one officer, Mr. Dunn, stated, sent by "a hitman."

So if you, dear reader, have any qualms about the true identity of said "hitman," I must wonder why in the world you would be wasting your precious time reading Stars Over Washington!

Depopulation Foretold: the Georgia Guidestones

Is Pandemic Depopulation Following the Advice of the Georgia Guidestones?

January 28, 2021: During Election Year 2016, a post and horoscope were published to my Two Hours blog entitled A Georgia Guidestones Horoscope and the Hopi Prophecy of a New Age. The ceremonial unveiling of the Guidestones was held in the morning of March 20, 1980. In lieu of an exact hour, the horoscope is set for 11:00 am est with Moon @21Gem48 rising opposite transit Neptune @22Sag40. This suggests that the proceedings were tinged with Moon-Neptune vibrations, a mystical, delusional influence which can deeply stir feelings and disturbances from within the Collective Unconscious. Additionlly, the Gemini Moon conjuncts US natal Mars in Gemini while Neptune @22Sag40 squares US natal Neptune (22Vir25), opposes US natal Mars, and receives a visit from 1980 Saturn Rx @22Vir58.

Now as you know, Saturn-to-Neptune is the grim face of reality transit that can also bring disillusionment, a sense of unreality, and/or financial troubles with it. Such conditions can be recognized in the "trickle down" "supply side" Reaganomics policies which began implementation during his presidency (Inauguration January 20, 1981 - by trickery).

Why, there's even a 1 North Reaganomics Eclipse to mark the GOP's delusional, corrupt policies under which we continue to struggle! And you'll remember that a nation-splitting solar eclipse in the 1 North Saros Series repeated on August 21, 2017 (Tr*mp's first year) as The Great American Eclipse, with the word "great" a part of the main Tr*mp campaign slogan. So basically, America's natal Mars-Neptune square, famous for its tendency toward misdirected motivations/activities and 'fog of war' potentials, was activated by the transits we see in the Georgia Guidestones Horoscope. Now it's only my personal opinion but you'll see penned at the bottom of the chart a notation that the 11:00 am Midheaven @5Pis35 on March 22, 1980 in Elbert County, Georgia points toward the Fascism Rising Solar Eclipse of 1933 (@5Pis28) in the 7 North Saros Series. Bamboozlers-in-Chief: 1981 and 2017--2020

Must We Still Be Bamboozled by Reaganism?

Back in the olden days of November 2019, I published the Reaganomics Eclipse of 1981 in a post titled, Reaganomics Eclipse 1981 a Turning Point for America. Now naturally there have been various turning points through the years but for pure cussedness on an epic scale, the "Reagan Revolution" takes the cake on several levels, not the least of which are financial and political (The Gipper's cutesy "government is the problem" for example). And while it's true that shrinking the size of the US government wasn't such a bad idea in 1981, we now see the steroids upon which Trump and his enablers have us which makes the current pandemic vastly more difficult to deal with. Some folks even say that Covid-19 has uncovered just how weakened and inefficient our systems and institutions have become and with this I must agree. How could it not?

Besides, it's almost as if the fabled glow around Reagan's saintly noggin has suddenly faded thanks to Covid and revealed the selfish, greedy monster underneath an ill-deserved halo! Not for every Republican, of course, but for the rest of us for we more clearly see the monster who bedeviled, hypnotized, charmed, and stole from the American people through the years - as his policies continue to do.

So now, since 2017, we have another bamboozler-in-chief of the 'Republic Party' persuasion who had lots of experience cheating 'suckers' even before he and his network of comrades moved into the Oval Office. And with a large backing of pro-nazi corporate enablers surrounding him, propping him up, instructing him, and manipulating certain strings (exs: Election 2020; corporate media who are 'in on the scam'), our entire society is being threatened with collapse - is, in fact, collapsing under the enormous weight and vile undertones of Herr Spanky and The Saboteurs.

Of course, this collapse is supported, aggravated by several general factors such as 'All empires must fall", and America's Pluto Return/s in 2022, and I suspect that those who understand these cosmic conditions are taking advantage of them to promote a major power grab. Yes, fascists have learned a lot since their efforts in 1933. Now that would have been a turning point unsuitable for lovers of democracy, and a change of course for sure. As we see in 2020, bad actors continue to work for what I would call an unrecognizable America so we must be even more determined to stop them.

Meanwhile, we face a December 21, 2020 shift brought to us by the Great Conjunction of societal planets Jupiter and Saturn from Earth to Air, plus, we're in the midst of the three conjunctions (all through 2020) of a favorite planetary pair of plutocrats everywhere, Jupiter and Pluto. Yes, someone's plans are 'coming together' as 2020 morphs into 2021 and 2022 as old orders collapse and new orders rush in. The upcoming paradigm shifts are scheduled for us by the Universe but their results can be more on the positive side or the negative. In such weighty matters, motive is everything.

So again, here's the Reaganomics Eclipse Horoscope (chart details linked, above); note that its 8th house Neptune will be 'eclipsed' by the financially difficult December 14, 2020 Solar Eclipse @23Sag08 which also affects Trump's natal Sun-Moon opposition and his (karmic) Nodal Axis:

Now to me it seems significant that cosmic time links exist between 1981 and 2020. For one thing, the 1 North Solar Eclipse of 1981 (Reagan) repeated as The Great American Eclipse of 2017 (Trump). Plus, in 1981, planets Jupiter and Saturn blended their energies in early Libra: their third of three conjunctions occurred on July 24, 1981 (@4Libra56--conjunct Trump's natal 2nd hou$e Neptune--he was a 35-yo playboy and soon-to-be serial bankrupt) and they will again meet on December 21, 2020 @00AQ29 (conjunct US POTUS Sun: Trump). Then, as in 1981 (once @24Lib53), money planets Jupiter and Pluto, which have been tangoing all through 2020, will make their final pas de deux on November 12, 2020 @22Cap52 which karmically conjuncts Trump's natal Vertex @22Cap51.

And so, dear reader, we have a case of American history rhyming with similar vibes in 1981 and 2020 - or, 2021 if you prefer to compare US Inaugurations of two arch bamboozlers.

American People Still Bamboozled by Reagan Economics

Many moons ago I posted the horoscope of 1981's Reaganomics Eclipse on my WordPress blog, Jude's Threshold (its title a reference to my natal 12th house Saturn, guardian of the threshold). I don't go there often now but you may for there are quite a few post links in the blog's sidebar, posts which may relate to current events.

And since the eclipse may be used to time fundamental changes to America dating from 1981 and the presidency of Ronald Reagan, I'm publishing the eclipse horoscope (of July 30, 1981 @7Leo51 in the 1 North Saros Series which repeated as The Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017--conjunct Trump's natal Ascendant and royal Regulus) here on SO'W for future reference if needed. And as you know, another Great American Eclipse (8 North series; 'vivid visions or dreams, flashes of genius, new-found inspiration'--Brady) will perfect on April 8, 2024 @19Aries and will 'split' our nation diagonally (Southeast to Northwest) while the 2017 eclipse split American horizontally (North-South).

Yes, the Decade of Greed of the 1980s really "hit the jackpot" during the presidential terms of Ronald Reagan whose administration early on made deeper cuts to the Federal School Lunch and Child Nutrition Programs (25%) than the original Omnibus Reconciliation Act of 1980 signed by President Carter had done (8%), and thereby allowed schools to count condiments such as ketchup and pickle relish as vegetables. This created controversy of course and was a sign of disrespect toward American children by politicians of the GOP persuasion in particular. Later, the Congress of 2011 followed the GOP vs Children blueprint by allowing meagerly topped pizza to be counted as a vegetable. What do Republicans have against children, I wonder? Pardon me for typing this but can skin color have anything to do with the GOP's neglect of the youngest among us? Or is it simply a matter of selfishness and soul-destroying greed? And of course with Trump, this child neglect (and I would add, abuse) shown by the GOP of the 1980s has 'blossomed' into putting children in cages, separating them from their families, then losing a great number of them--or, have they marked 'em up and sold them on?

Well it seems to me that one perfect yet simple example in stark relief of the redirecting of America from a (reasonably) caring society into a Circus of Greed and Abuse as run by the still-greedy GOP has to be the Carter Inauguration of 1977 when Mr. Carter became the first US president to walk from the Capitol Building to the White House in the post-ceremony parade. In contrast, both Reagan and Trump motored regally from Capitol Building to White House in high style, ensconced in fancy limousines, their ritzy selves hidden from potential rotten-tomato-throwers.

And one of the many tragedies to spring from the Trump era is that his supporters (fans and cult members, alike) vote for a heartless, lewd man who only pretends to care about them and their circumstances when really he'd just as soon forget they exist if he didn't need them to spin his illusion of power and as props for bolstering his ego during his never-ending campaign rallies.

Do you know that the natal Jupiter of Ronald Reagan, though he's passed into the Great Beyond, returned to natal degree (13Sco44) three times recently: December 14, 2017 (the year of the Trump 'election'), June 24, 2018, and July 26, 2018. A Scorpio Jupiter tends toward materialism, a ruthless striving for possessions and pleasures, and a habit of overrating oneself. And in Reagan's 1981 Inauguration horoscope, transit Chiron @13Taurus conjoined the chart's Ascendant (Oath of Office) suggesting a wounding or a blind spot, with Reagan's natal Jupiter opposite and conjunct the chart Descendant. Turning to master astrologer Richard Nolle we find that a Jupiter-Chiron opposition implies, "one whose Quest aims at a radical redirection of the socio-cultural environment - anarchy and occultism play a central role in one's transformative vision." So apparently transit Chiron opposing his natal Jupiter (across the financial 2/8 axis) was inspiring to The Gipper who was nearly assassinated on March 30, 1981. His condition much more serious than the public was told, Mr. Reagan recuperated quickly for 70-year-old and returned to the White House on April 11, 1981 to continue overseeing our 'Decade of Greed'.

Saturn-Pluto, Economic Recessions, and Eclipses

The 1981-82 Recession

On November 8, 1982 Saturn and Pluto, both slow-moving planets of karma (reaping what was sown) met @27Lib36 as the unemployment rate in the US reached a distressing 11%. Of course, 1980 was no picnic either with unemployment at 7.5% so that the 1980s decade, aka, the Decade of Greed, began on a low note for millions of US workers particularly in the auto, manufacturing, and construction industries. This created a restrictive atmosphere over the next couple of years with the recession plodding on from July 1981 to November 1982, and, prior to the 2007--08 recession, this had been the worst economic downturn in the US since the Great Depression. Will History Rhyme?

Now in 2019 signs are hinting that another recession is on the horizon or has already begun as heavyweights Saturn and Pluto align once again for another of their approximately 33-year conjunctions, this time in practical Earth sign Capricorn (@22Cap46), a sign that also relates to more than Business and Investments, but also to Politics, Government, and Law. Exact on January 12, 2020 (see link, below), some astrologers see trouble for Trump in or into the New Year (2020), and with this I must agree--for one reason, the 2020 Saturn-Pluto conjunction lands upon Trump's natal Vertex of fated encounters and opposes his natal Saturn.

(Yet even though I have never wanted the self-styled 'King Of Debt' con man with mobster leanings mucking around in the Oval Office, I know that how POTUS goes, so goes America so I must wish him the best. Yet if he was selected to play the POTUS role in order to 'take down' America, he's doing a 'great' job of it so far but my fervent hope remains: that America is stronger than the oh-so-flawed snake oil salesman, Donald Trump, a cantankerous varmint as ever there was.)

Now some economists expect a recession by the end of 2020, some by the end of 2021--so basically, within the next two years. And astrologically, a recession time frame based on cycles may be linked to the next Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Saturn-ruled Capricorn especially since Saturn in its own sign of Capricorn tends to mess with markets even without input from powerful Pluto (a favorite with plutocrats everywhere!) and his extreme wealth and treasure in hidden places, plus, who can forget manipulator Pluto's nasty habit of exploiting the masses.

Then it occurred to me that for more info we can compare eclipse cycles via the Solar Eclipses of 1980, 1981, and 1982 with those of our current day to see how or if they link with one another by Saros Series theme, by degree, or by similar event. So here is an eclipse list I compiled for you, not to alarm but to inform:

1980: February 16 @27AQ (conjunct US natal Moon) 18 South: endings, separations, partings that can lead to positive situations. August 10 @18Leo 19 North: realism, coming down to earth, seeing an old situation for what it really is, a constructive time for tackling the truth. 18 South and 19 North also occurred in 2016--19N is the Prenatal Eclipse Series of Election 2016 and Inauguration 2017 (and we're still trying to 'tackle truth' while Trump and his minions work and sue to hide it). Plus, the 19N eclipse of 1980 is the PE of the Reagan Inauguration of 1981.

1981: February 4 @16AQ 19 South: the lucky win, a pleasant surprise, a joyful event. July 31 @8Leo 1 North: (this is the Mother of All Eclipses series of Nostradamus fame) unexpected events concerning friends or groups place great pressure on relationships; matters loom large but make no hasty decisions since information is distorted or possibly false; health or fatigue issues may be involved. A 1 North eclipse manifested on August 21, 2017 @29Leo as 'The Great American Eclipse' conjunct the natal Ascendant and rising Mars of Donald Trump. You'll remember his taking off safety glasses to look directly at the eclipse like a nimcompoop would do.

Four Solar Eclipses in 1982: 1. January 25 @5AQ (conjunct US natal South Node) 1 South: flooded with ideas and options. A 1 South eclipse occurred @27AQ (conjunct US natal Moon as did the February 16, 1980 eclipse of endings and separations) on February 15, 2018. 2. June 21 @30Gemini 2 Old North: separations, endings of relationships, bad news about relationships or associations; things look glum but fast action can bring good results. 2 Old North is Trump's Prenatal Eclipse series and it repeated for him on July 12, 2018 @21Cancer, about two degrees from his natal 11th house Saturn in watery, emotionally defensive Cancer. He remains desperate to build his lucrative wall (Saturn) to keep out marauders and boost his authority (also Saturn)! 3. July 20 @28Cancer (opposite US natal Pluto Rx) 2 New North: this is The Tower series with themes of: sudden collapse of plans or lifestyles, confusion, rebuilding once the dust settles, and complete changes of direction via the sudden collapse of an existing structure. A 2 Old North eclipse manifested @18Leo (as did the August 1980 19N eclipse) on August 11, 2018, and the series initially began on June 17, 1928 @27Gemini which you may or may not agree links 2018 to economic and market conditions of that time period. 4. December 15 @23Sagittarius (same degree as the upcoming December 2020 4S eclipse, see below) in the 2 South series which is the Saros Series we're now in as we await the July 2, 2019 eclipse. As you know, 2 South imprinted upon the 116th Congress with its theme of: joining unusual groups and gaining a great deal from it and occurred on January 5, 2019 @15Cap25. Plus, 2 South was the PE of the New Millennium!

Coming Soon to a Cosmos Near You

So now we face another solar eclipse in the 3 North series occurring on July 2, 2019 @10Can37--directly in the midst of America's business-oriented Venus-Jupiter-Sun trio of 1776. So basically, the Cosmos gifts America with a solar eclipse for her 243rd birthday which can be positive, negative, or a mixture of both; and of course with any 'wild card' 'cosmic blink' eclipse, a change of direction is indicated along with some measure of Uranian-style disruption. 3N themes are: news concerning a young person or news that transforms a situation and can cause worry or obsession; large plans or activities are wanted but don't get carried away. 3N is the PE of The Crash of 1929 (@18Taurus) and also the PE of the 9/11 attacks for it's the Summer Solstice Eclipse of 2001 (@00Cancer, a World Point of global events) and, besides any economic influences (or perhaps because of them), may again herald a misguided excursion by the US military into yet another war of destruction, plunder, and misery for the masses. Sad to say, that with 'Captain Bone Spurs' at the helm of chaos, outcomes are even more unpredictable than usual.

And we must add here that the June 21, 2020 solar eclipse also perfects @00Cancer - but this time in the difficult 4 North series with themes of: restriction, restraint, inhibition, illusions, separation, and the tendency to misjudge strength or the situation. Here is a tri-wheel of the current Jupiter Return/s of former president Ronald Reagan whose natal Jupiter @13Sco44 rises in the first Return chart (ASC 13Sco23) of December 14, 2017 along with the Moon (9Sco50) and chart-ruler Mars @3Sco08. All three charts are set for Washington DC although you may want to reset them for California and study each of them separately.

The middle chart shows Jupiter in retrograde phase while the outer chart, the third of three conjunctions to natal degree, shows an interesting Sabian Symbol for the Return ASC--"28Sag": "An Old Bridge Over a Beautiful Stream" which to me relates to the stream of money that the Reagan era provided the wealthy class via 'trickle down economics', a theory that has been repeatedly shown to benefit only the wealthier classes while decimating the fortunes and budgets of the 99%. The 'stream' didn't 'trickle down' as they promised it would--and never will.

Even though he too benefited from 1980s GOP economic policies, Bush Sr called the theory, "Voo Doo Economics" when it politically suited him. And perhaps you remember that during the 1980 presidential campaign, Mr. Reagan revived the Hooverites' theory of the 1920s that corporate tax cuts create jobs which is part of the GOP's discredited scheme to steal from the less affluent classes and gift greedy billionaires.

Nowadays Mr. Trump and the GOP are attempting to sell the public the same snake oil again so my thought is that if the gullible among the American people during the Trump era once again fall for such fraudulent economic drivel, we will all pay the price because 'the third time' will not be the charm.

Now I'm definitely not the only one entertaining doubts about the US government's shifting story of the Osama bin Laden raid and assassination in Pakistan.

Did a raid take place? I believe so with purloining of computers and documents the possible target and goal (either to garner intell - or to destroy it.) But was Osama bin Laden himself on-site? Maybe, maybe not. This could explain how the White House situation room crew, including the President, could have watched the raid on a live feed, yet are said not to have witnessed the actual killing of bin Laden.

Well, economist and journalist Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, former Treasury official in the Reagan administration and 'father of Reaganomics' (see Reaganomics Eclipse's horoscope link, below), has his own doubts which he shares here.

And as I've mentioned before, my opinion is that when the mainstream media gets its fat self piled onto a huge bandwagon to promote a particular story or event 24/7 (9/11, Financial Collapse 2008, etc), be wary of their coordinated corporate propaganda for we are most probably being scammed or, at the least, the whole truth is not being revealed in order to protect the guilty while promoting the US imperialist agenda.

My latest thought is that rather than using bin Laden's demise as justification for ending America's war on the Middle East, it will be used to further the one-world-government cabal's Endless War agenda. Whether this is correct, we'll soon know, won't we? For war expansions and extensions will turn up in the MSM as the so-called War on Terror marches on and our freedoms in the US continue to be deleted as elsewhere across the globe.

As Dr. Roberts notes, such tactics continue to be used by the US government because they work. "Remember the USS Maine", "Remember Pearl Harbor", and so on, as we're lead in a wrong direction by a frothed-up, emotion-based patriotism into conflict - and diplomacy be da*ned. A more recent example is the Bush-Cheney administration's well-timed release of a bin Laden video threatening America just before the 2004 presidential election.

And with the US public ever mindful of its safety and security, it worked and war hawk neocons were elected. (They couldn't be 're-elected' in 2004 since it was a corrupt SCOTUS who installed them in 2000.)

Blogging in America

So just after the bin Laden raid in Pakistan on May 1, 2011, I posted here about my misgivings over the story's truthiness and was informed by an Anonymous commenter that I was being waaay too cynical. Now it's 6 days later during which the White House's version of the raid has morphed and re-morphed - and I don't think I've been cynical enough. Thus, this posting of Dr. Roberts' own misgivings today. If you have about 20 minutes to spare, listen to his opinion and see what you believe for yourself!

Personally I don't completely agree with all of what he says, but it's worth a listen if you're concerned about who will be the next US president and the possible propagandistic tactics meant to assure it.

Actually, this situation reminds me of some of the chart factors in the May 17, 2011 Full Moon Horoscope (a New Moon chart for May 3, 2011 is shown, too, both set for Washington DC) particularly a midpoint picture with fraudulent, deceptive Neptune in its own murky sign of Pisces (which is also a sign of the military and Neptune's 'fog of war'.) The revealing picture contains the energies of the World Banker/Pentagon/Wheeler-Dealer duo of expansive Jupiter, (aka, the General) and powerful, subversive, super-wealthy Pluto, planet of assassination and secret control...

Jupiter/Pluto = Neptune: the inclination to deceive others; cheating and seducing; suffering damage from others without being aware of it; a general disappointment; confused plans or goals; adjusting the data; omitting key facts; working a situation into one's own agenda. (Ebertin; Munkasey; Tyl.)

In addition, Michael Munkasey's details on the Jupiter/Pluto midpoint's potentials within Politics and Business seem applicable to the US raid carried out in Pakistan whose government was either involved or not involved and either knew or didn't know that bin Laden was hunkered down in their neighborhood for years - or, was already dead:

Thesis: Pacts or relations with foreigners on the use of force or weapons; the growth of security or spy agencies (doesn't the world have enough? jc); greater power for religious leaders; a society that wields much influence; extreme depletion of resources.

Here in northeast Georgia we're digging out of about one inch of one the fluffiest snowfalls I've seen in years (scintillatingly beautiful!) and this video of Rachel Maddow reporting on the trickle down-supply side Riganomics of Ronald Reagan and its ultimate effects may fill the bill for those who still wonder what happened to America's middle class.

You know, I've always thought it was telling how in his presidential nomination campaign against Reagan, Bush Sr called trickle down theory "voo doo economics" though as Reagan's VP, Bush joined in all the self-enriching fun which their policies provided with no visible qualms at all...our national debt tripled under Reagan.

With the excessive growth of a shadow banking system and the results from "Riganomics" not being what was glowingly promised - then or now - we've seen that two sets of books may not be enough for such major slights of hand and our income inequality gap has only widened dramatically. Critics of Reaganomics were and are correct.

Robert Parry's Consortium News and the Trajectory of America

The Shadow of Reaganism and Its Trajectory for America

It isn't often I publish a post to shout-out a new feed just added to the Stars Over Washington sidebar yet today is an important exception.

Journalist Robert Parry's articles on Ronald Reagan, particularly Ronald Reagan's 30-Year Time Bombs, are a must-reads for anyone wanting a clear-eyed assessment of the Reagan era without the false reality of the rosy glow the GOP continually applies to Reagan's public image which, they hope, gives them political cover for their current win-at-any-cost activities.

With February 6, 2011 being the 100th anniversary of Reagan's birth, I have posted several entries concerning the Reagan administration of late so when my friend Alex D'Atria sent along a link to Mr. Parry's work, I was stunned to read what in my memory more closely resembles the reality of Reagan policies which have not - no matter how often promoted - brought positive outcomes for our nation.

Yes, the Great Communicator communicated all right and it was through the propaganda tactic of "perception management" that our society began to lose its already weakened grip on reality in the power elite's hopeful preparation for a one-world-government.

No, the preparation didn't begin under Ronald Reagan but since progress is gained by taking small steps, the New World Order totalitarian types used a compliant and often naive leader whose Alzheimer's began, as has now been confirmed by his son, Ron, while the Gipper was nodding off in the White House.

Therefore, Nancy Reagan must have known at the time but had to keep mum in spite of her obvious concern about her husband's deteriorating health. Yet there were others in the Reagan administration who were willing to 'take up the slack' of the duties of the highest, most powerful office in the land.

As Mr. Parry writes, "In the early 1980s, Reagan also credentialed a young generation of neocon intellectuals, who pioneered a concept called “perception management,” the shaping of how Americans saw, understood and were frightened by threats from abroad."

From Iran Contra to Afghanistan to 9/11, Parry's article looks backward and forward at the damage done by Reagan policies and I'm certain you've noticed this year, if not last, the many references in the press to a "30-year" time frame as if the 1980s have magically led to many of the dire conditions we struggle under in 2011 - with little or no mention of just who was in the Oval Office during the promotion of such things as deregulation (financial collapse 2008), the so-called clash of civilizations (Cold War; 9/11), and other Reagan administration implementations which have, as President Obama pointed out, "changed the trajectory of America."

That's quite an understatement of subtle propaganda! With the implication being that Reagan's rhetorical lifting up of our spirits in the 1980s put our nation on a positive course while everyone knows that the trajectory has been downward for all but the power elite and their minions. Even Reagan's 'shining city on a hill' are code words for the Utopian dream of the NWO crowd of corporatists and plutocrats - and to the Freemasonry-elected establishment of the District of Columbia. These days it seems astounding to me that the Republican Party and other neocon/Zionist-based organizations continue to be so successful in rewriting history, often by the light of a nostalgic, burnished Gipper Glow. So if you even suspect for one minute that Reagan's "Morning in America" has resulted in a New Millennium 'Mourning in America', and if you believe that truth still matters, you may wish to check out Robert Parry's assessment of Reaganism and the Reagan Years of the 1980s...and what his policies have sown and reaped for our nation and the world.

The Reagans Used Astrology So Why Shouldn't We?

A note before we start: politicians, their handlers, and/or secret society operatives know and use Astrology for timing their political and financial activities. As old J.P. Morgan famously informed us, "Millionaires don't use Astrology, billionaires do."

With the New Millennium, historically a time of major societal shifts, America's trajectory was astrologically heralded by the August 11, 1999 Solar Eclipse (horoscope shown set for DC) so famously predicted by seer-astrologer Nostradamus. This is the eclipse they call The Mother of All Eclipses. An alternate name is 'King of Terror Eclipse' (or 'King of Alarm') which some believe relates to finances as well as to violence. Given the rippling effects of the attacks of 9/11/01 on many levels of societal ills, I'd say the financial connection is a given with one clue the WTC attacks' Sabian Symbol for 9/11's Moon @ '28 Gemini' = Bankruptcy.

The August 11, 1999 Solar Eclipse @ 18Leo21 contained the rigid energy of a Fixed Grand Cross between the Lionine Sun and Moon, Mars (Scorpio), Saturn (Taurus), Uranus (Aquarus), and North Node (AQ) which relates to Scriptural prophecy (see article w/ chart, linked above.) The separative South Node of the Moon conjoins tech-savvy Uranus in the horoscope indicating changing technological and social conditions which disrupt people's lives, wars and revolutions, and the probable financial losses such conditions bring to society.

(Bush-Cheney and the neocons began the Iraq War with Jupiter the General retrograde, a signature of a 'bottomless pit' in the Jupiterian money department and of inconclusive 'victory'.)

With Uranus/SN falling in the 6th house of Work, Health, and Service (including military and police) in the 1999 chart, we think of the era's 'free trade' deals pushed by the Clinton administration affecting US employment conditions as outsourcing of American jobs was greatly ramped up. Afflictions to the Uranus/SN pairing only made our problems deeper with Sun/Moon opposing, Mars and Saturn squaring. And of course, a Solar Eclipse is a super New Moon, a major beginning of a new cycle of activity.

Mars/Saturn = Uranus: application of brute force; intervention of a Higher Power; a test of nervous strength; sudden accident; separation or a case of death. (Ebertin.)

Now as you know, some eclipses are so powerful that the degrees they fall upon are permanently sensitized and thus it is so for 18Leo21 (18 or 19 Leo.) On 9/11/01, transiting Venus triggered the King of Terror Eclipse of 1999. Venus Rx @ 2Vir09 arises in the 1999 horoscope along with a Royal Star of Persia, Regulus (which has this year precessed from 29 Leo+ to 00Vir00 - conjunct the ASC of the 1999 eclipse horoscope. Keywords: success if revenge is avoided. It was not. A bullhorn over the rubble of the WTC in September 2011 made certain of that as our national patriotism was used to emotionally manipulate us into war in the Middle East. Wounding Chiron in the chart conjoins Mr. Obama's natal Midheaven in Scorpio.

Historically, when rulers' subjects were dissatisfied and threatening to get out of hand, the king declared war due to an 'outside threat' (ex: the SCOTUS-installed, illegitimate regime of Bush-Cheney 2001 vs Osama bin Laden, former CIA operative.) This ploy works every time and keeps the serfs busy and united under incumbent rulers no matter how corrupt they are.

So! Why do I ramble on today about a past solar eclipse?

Because the eclipse Saros Cycle repeats every 18.6 years and the 1999 eclipse (1 North Series) occurred during the very early days of the Reagan presidency, on July 31, 1981 @ '8Leo' (conjunct the natal Mercuries of the Republican Party, George W. Bush, and John McCain.) Elsewhere I have called this the Reaganomics Eclipse with its YOD planetary pattern of crisis, turning point, special task indications, what Erin Sullivan has called the Finger of God configuration.

1N initially manifested on January 4, 1639 @ 13Cap48, a time link by degree with the present solar eclipse season from the January 4, 2011 Solar Eclipse @ 13Cap38, both of which oppose US natal Sun (the leader) and our Jupiter (finances) in Cancer.

And since this blogger's natal Sun 13Cap28 is now eclipsed by the January 2011 solar lunation, perhaps that's part of why I feel compelled today to bring up the topic of the 1N eclipses of 1639, 1981, and 1999, 30 years of societal retrogression in the US, and the tiresomely over-valued presidency of globalist-for-his-time, Ronald Reagan.

This Solar Eclipse's Pluto 12Can10 is in process of being opposed by transiting Pluto now in 2010 and beyond as modern-day Pluto readies to oppose US natal Sun in Cancer. Apparently Mr. Hades was 'with' our leadership in the 1920s but is now opposing it and our financial health (natal Jupiter 5Can56 will be precisely opposed by tr Pluto three times: Jan 17, 2011, Nov 16, 2011, and Jan 2, 2012. And that's not counting Pluto opposite n Sun! Yes, you're right, these are extremely perilous years for our nation.

So today, Republicans have been yelling out for the Obama administration's current budget which seems to be hiding in the shadows. This awake-asleep pair of outer, transpersonal planets has to do with inner vision, ESP, spirituality, and/or mysticism, and together are capable of eliminating the waking consciousness (I've seen murder charts with Uran/Nep active or angular, including their midpoint. Have you?)

The protective quality of the trine (120 degrees) is emphasized by Water along with the tendency toward passivity and a search for anything soothing and nurturing (alcohol and other drugs are the negative manifestation of this search; merging with the Divine Source is its positive.)

Paul Krugman's opd-ed of May 31, 2009 tells of Ronald Reagan's signing the Garn-St. Germain Act of 1982 which opened the door wide to the deregulation of the mortgage industry and the crisis, frauds, and heists of today.

Considering the strife on Wall Street today, I was wondering if you'd ever read this post on the Reaganomics Eclipse of 1981?

You know, it would be amusing if it weren't so tragic: McCain likes to think of himself as Ronald Reagan! When he's not riding horsies with Teddy Roosevelt, that is.

Bush press conference #41 2.28.08

Just got done watching Bush on TV, his 41st press conference which began at 10:05 am est, ended 10:52 am, White House Press Room.

Here are his demands (all the following words have "more" in front of them):

drilling, refinery-building, corn, spying, and war.

The US is NOT heading into recession and quelle surprise! he didn't know experts were predicting $4 per gallon gas to come (upshot: he avoids commenting on a difficult subject.)

When asked if he's concerned that a sagging economy will defeat John McCain as it defeated his father in 1992, Bush willingly confessed his concern for American workers.

What good news! I did not know this. An elitist is concerned about the average American worker! Who knew?

He went on to tout that our checks will be in the mail the 2nd week of May, but if you request yours electronically, you'll be rollin' in dough the 1st week of May. Then his advice is: spend and consume. (Your shopping spree will be all too brief.)

During the press conference an apt midpoint was on the Midheaven, the Goal/Aspiration/WHY? Point of the chart:

Jupiter/Neptune = Mc: a visionary; fortune hunter; spend-thrift; speculator; harm or damage through thoughtlessness.

By conference's end (10:52 am) another midpoint had happily taken the place of spendtrift Jupiter-Neptune...

His advice? Keep the tax cuts permanent. Yeah, I feel better already--as long as I can avoid filling my car's gas tank.

All through the press conference and into the day is a Mutable T-square between the Sun/Saturn opposition that points toward the Moon in Sagittarius which is out-of-bounds (as is Mars)...

Sun/Saturn = Moon: feeling inferior, hurt; personal needs under wraps; fear.

On one level, the Moon-r-us, but also represents Bush who is, I hear, one of the people. And he's the one on display and grabbing publicity (Moon) while he can.

Let's see what Bil Tierney in his Dynamics of Aspect Analysis says about an apex Moon in a Mutable T-square...

this Moon acts from a defensive pose, feels threatened, security is all-important; unstable due to misunderstood impressions from the past; emotionally touchy and high-strung.

Guess I can see why he may have wanted a wee nip.

Well, Bush began speaking during a Venus Hour, ended during a Mercury Hour with asteroid MIDA$ rising. And there was a second midpoint combo at Mc when he began which may tell much of the tale and the main reason for this performance this morning...

Sun/Pluto = Mc: striving for power and control; consciousness of purpose/objective; leadership; vocational crisis or upset and change to adopt new perspectives; violence with emotional consequences; power games with important consequences.

According to Bush, the important consequences refer to keeping the American people safe, but his past lies and deceits would indicate otherwise--that the Senate intell bill he so richly implores Congress to pass NOW is primarily meant to cover his own and his comrades' patooties--and to veil which activists AND politicians they've been spying on in Congress!

Our nation's political institutions in Washington DC are run on money, sex, and blackmail--and not necessarily in that order.

Yes, The Eye is watching its denizens from atop the pyramid and if the privacy rights of the rest of us get in the way, it's a small price to pay for permanent control and dominance. Seems the inmates have taken over the asylum and Bush is drinking again.

Oh! I almost forgot another thing Bush taught me during today's info-promoting Disseminationg phase of the Moon--dreamy-eyed Vladimir Putin is still a great leader.

Now you know Bush is in his own little world to say that!

'Reaganomics' has its own Solar Eclipse

Whew! It took longer than expected--and I do plead guilty to composing at keyboard (with Jupiter oriental I prefer spontaneity in work scenarios) but my Reaganomics Eclipse Page is up now at Jude's Threshold if you'd care to peek.

Yes, it's a bit of a walk down memory lane from the 1980s--except that its sorriness is still causing trouble in 2008.
