April 9, 2021: With today being the 156th anniversary of General Robert E. Lee's Surrender at Appomattox Court House, here's a view of the Civil War Horoscope (lower left), plus the war's Secondary Progressed Full Moon ('SP') which perfected on December 14, 2020 @26Pis05. Some amazing synchronicities were, or are, in effect, what I tend to call 'cosmic time links' involving 1861 Neptune in Pisces (with deceptive, deluded Neptune progressed in December 2020 to the very public Aries Point), and the Electoral College Vote count on that very day. As you see, at the start of the war (April 12, 1861 4:30 am LMT) Neptune was rising along with Scheat, star of misfortune and murder, plus, a midpoint picture between Mercury-Neptune = ASC reveals potentials for 'overreaction to others' and exploitation' (Tyl). A veil of Neptunian deception and misconception was cast over the proceedings, and emotions were played upon in 1861, a description of many of our 2021 conditions as well.

Now outside the foundational 4th house of the upper right horoscope (SP Full Moon @26Pis05) I've notated the December 14, 2020 Solar Eclipse @23Sag08 in the difficult 4 South Saros Series - the influences in which the world continues to stew (until late May or early June 2021, when the next Solar Eclipse in Gemini begins to influence societal conditions and events, and our dreams become prophetic). Thing is, the December 14, 2020 Eclipse is a time link for current seditionist activities for it manifested on the very day of the Electoral College Vote, the count for which violent insurrectionists on January 6th temporarily interrupted the work of the US Congress as it fulfilled its constitutional duty of certifying the vote count for President Joe Biden - aka, the former guy's infamous, deceitful "stop the steal" ploy which led to violence and death. And as you know, the grifter's big lie about Election 2020's outcome is the basis for the false narratives and shady laws being perpetrated in state legislatures such as in my home state of Georgia where 'white supremacy' somehow retains a base of radical reactionaries who are often signified in horoscopes by Utopian zealot and radical, disruptive politician, Uranus.

Uranus and Neptune

Now looking ahead, one interesting, or perhaps predictive, feature is that the Civil War will experience a three-fer Neptune Return/s on March 28, 2025, October 24, 2025, and January 24, 2026 - all 're-conjunct' 1861 Scheat, and as you see, at a critical 29th degree of shady Pisces (see the blue box on the left). Another thing is transit Uranus, America's planet of rebellion, conflict, and potential for violence, now traveling through Venus-ruled Taurus ('the bull'), has already caused trouble including from its Mars-Uranus Conjunction (6Tau44) on Inauguration Day 2021. Fortunately, the ceremony and Oaths of Office were uninterrupted by sore losers - because the capital city was prepared and snugly fenced in.

So lower left beside the 1861 chart, you see listed a midpoint picture with transit Uranus at apex which in part describes recent, current, and probably future events, as you may agree: fanaticism and the urge to fight. Add in the energies of SP Mars conjunct SP Sun-Jupiter and we have a portion of the zealotry, aggression, and warrior spirit (Mars) that helps fuel the miguided, anti-societal efforts and attacks of seditionist rebels as they proudly march under authoritarian symbols of neo-nazism.

And my suspicion is that these rowdy miscreants are being 'inspired' to act on behalf of the former guy by the reigning crop of crooks and swindlers and can be seen in the SP midpoint picture: Sun-Mercury opposite - you guessed it - SP Neptune Rx @00Ari20, conjunct the SP 8th cusp.

DC Horoscopes: April 2021 New and Full Moons

March 15, 2021: Below is a dual chart with both the New (lower left) and Full (upper right) Moons of April 2021 set for Washington, DC:

As you know, New Moon phases are for seeding ideas and plans while the following Full Moon is a time of culmination and fulfillment and may also reveal something about full awareness and relationships. In Politics, the 'full awareness' quality of a Full Moon (which can act in similar, Uranian fashion to Lunar Eclipses, disrupting events and redirecting goals) tends to uncover revelations of secrets better kept hidden, or they may possibly inspire leaks of inconvenient information with scandals soon following. Additionally, we might expect the same from New Moons which can act in similar fashion to Solar Eclipses.

Now in April 2021, potentials involve the sign polarities of the lunations which are: Mars-ruled Aries with health asteroid Panacea Rx opposing the New Moon of April 11th (chart is incorrectly titled "April 12th"), plus, the opposite sign of Libra is included, then at the April 26th Full Moon the Taurus-Scorpio polarity (plenty of secrets therein!) is the star of April's cosmic show, curtain raised, spotlight on. Plus, the Full Moon (7Sco06) leads a Locomotive shape of planets suggesting people with a ruthless determination to achieve success (this may describe more than one group of people). A Taurus-Scorpio-themed tussle or stalemate could ensue as it typically does whenever Politics and politicians are involved - and everybody wants to rule the world.

And yes, until late May 2021, we remain under the auspices of the 4 South Solar Eclipse which manifested on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 with its difficult themes of 'strong emotions over money and/or relationships; a sense of karma or fate; and 'an urge to suddenly end relationships' (Brady). As you see by the date, this is the 'Electoral College Vote Eclipse' so political matters and "the former guy" are obviously involved, including his 'big lie' and the subsequent violence of January 6, 2021, plus, other societal, financial, legal, and political difficulties caused by - or for - bad faith actors, many who are now under arrest or are being investigated.

Then as you see in the New Moon chart of April 11, 2021, transit Mars @23Gem06 (basically a US Mars Return!) opposes and thus activates the themes of the 4 South Solar Eclipse (23Sag08) while speedy messenger Mercury @14Ari57 is apex planet of the ('nwo') Uranus-Neptune midpoint which suggests that someone Mercurial (journalists? authors? orators? young folk? someone in trade or commerce?) is making plans that have little or no chance of being fulfilled (R. Ebertin).

At the April 26th Full Moon (7Sco06) we should note that powerful plutocrat Pluto is at Station Direct and turns Rx in 16 Hours 30 Minutes @26Cap48:29 which is, of course, the Midheaven (The Goal Point) in our Inauguration 2021 Horoscopes of recent years. And with 'unbeatable foe' asteroid Nemesis Rx in both charts conjunct the South Node, past enemies could be itching to affect current events, or may represent a factor that bad faith actors will rely on (SN) to force their way in to where they don't belong.

First thought? Criminal underworld figures slipping in to the country over the US-Mexico border. Yet we must also think of the fighters and agitators who brazenly breached the Capitol Building and the US Congress on January 6th with the misguided goal of stopping the certification of the 2020 Votes for Joe Biden.

Biden Administration to Navigate Two Upcoming Cosmic Blinks

Until the manifestation of the June 10, 2021 Solar Eclipse @19Gem47 (or about two weeks prior), the world along with the Biden administration remains under the difficult influences of the 4 South Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020, a date significant to US Politics due to the Electoral College Vote for Joe Biden. This occurrence in late 2020 of a 4 South eclipse (23Sag08) also serves as the 'Prenatal' Solar Eclipse of the entire 4-year term of President Joe Biden and VP Kamala Harris so it's 'strong feelings' and emotional volatility all the way.

As with every new president, much is being written and suggested about Biden's 'first 100 days' and what the Biden administration intends to accomplish by then. Let's see: from Inauguration Day 2021, 11 days in January plus 28 days in February plus 31 days in March = 70 days plus the 30 days of April which by my count takes us to May 1, 2021, aka, Beltane in paganism and more recently, as International Workers' Day. Anciently celebrated as the beginning of the Spring season, flowers decorated May Poles in a variety of cultures and dancing ensued as fertility peeked shyly from underneath its chaste petticoats.

And in case you missed it, on Joe Biden's first full day in office, Thom Hartmann's commentary concerned The Rule of Three that all writers use, in a segment called, Biden Needs To Take These Steps To Heal America. And of course, you know that astrologers are very familiar with such a Carter-esque rule! Even planetary retrograde cycles (Direct-Rx-Direct) suggest it via the stages of Denial-Acceptance-Solution.

Wild Cards and Cosmc Blink Eclipses: Revelations and Changes of Direction

Now a prominent feature which pops out at me concerning the May 26, 2021 Lunar Eclipse given the current political climate in the US is asteroid Nemesis, the archetype of 'divine retribution' conjunct the May 26, 2021 Lunar Eclipse degree of 5Sag35. Round up the degree to "6 Sagittarius" and we have ourselves "A Game of Cricket." "SPORTSMANSHIP; positive expression: exceptional competency in crisis; negative expression: false pretense to personal excellence" (Jones). Perhaps like me, you prefer the degree's positive expression for a majority of Americans are bone-weary from the last four years of false pretenses, "alternative facts," "fake news," and outright lies.

As for the start of a new season, nowadays we look to the annual Aries Ingress (Sun to 00Aries00:00) as the cosmic signal that the Spring Season has begun in our hemisphere so the Spring Equinox 2021 Horoscope is highly significant and may be used as a yearly chart until Spring Equinox 2022. Curiously if not unfortunately, the same political theme afflicting the Biden administration thanks to Republican opponents and others who undermine the Biden agenda is shown in the Equinox chart: look for Nemesis conjunct the Midheaven Point ('MC') with potentials of the May 26th Lunar Eclipse's "Game of Cricket" nearby.

January 6, 2021 US Congress: Strong Emotions Surface

January 3, 2021: Besides facing the combustible Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 on Inauguration Day 2021 and the ongoing sabotage of America by fascist forces and their figurehead Trump, we first must successfully navigate through potential riots, protests, and the seditious behavior threatened in the US Congress on January 6, 2021 by certain congressional Republicans determined to disrupt America's tradition of a peaceful transfer of power, undermine the Biden administration, and, they hope, prevent Trump from tweeting against them and ruining their next election chances. However, on that date the Electoral College Vote is to be certified by the Congress doing its duty.

Of course, this purposefully stirred up 'hail Mary' political drama by Trump and comrades is meant to take over the US government entirely and morph it into a fascist enterprise. And it's all being piled atop our ongoing fight against the SARS-Covid pandemic now decimating the American people and straining our hospital system to its core, plus, our dire economic and cyber conditions. Yes, Trump and his ilk are attacking the country while America is weakened by disease and loss. And a misguided 1/3 of the population likes it!

Now naturally these weighty 2020-into-2021 issues and events are described ably by multiple cosmic factors, some of which have been discussed here on Stars Over Washington and available for those who care to search (sidebar Search field, or just Google). But if I had to name one cosmic factor which basically accounts for many of the stirred up feelings - 'the strong emotions over money and relatonships', it has to be the background influences of the 4 South Solar Eclipse in which we now simmer (that is, until the next Solar Eclipse comes along in June 2021).

Occurring on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 (the day the Electoral College voted against Trump - see what I mean?), the 4 South Eclipse contains difficult themes that are now expressing in society and what could be one of the peaks of such difficulties manifests in the US Congress, Capitol Hill, January 6, 2021.

And yet there is one promising potential in particular from the 4 South Eclipse @23Sag08 - it 'eclipsed' the 8th house Saturn in authoritarian Trump's Inauguration 2017 Horoscope!

Besides karmic Saturn's rulership of authority, accountability, control, and separation, for me this describes another of the 4 South influences: a 'sudden desire to end a relationship'. For if We The People ever wanted to end a relationship asap, it has to be the one between the Oval Office and saboteur Trump whose presidential term ends at noon on January 20, 2021 as Joe Biden takes the Oath of Office.

December 2020 Government Shutdown Timed by a Full Moon?

As you've undoubtedly heard, the quixotic Mr. Trump may cantankerously decide to gift the American people with a partial Christmas Government Shutdown 2020 laced with his unique brand of sour-puss politics over the omnibus Covid-relief-and-government-funding bill he'd hinted all along that he would sign.

Instead, he has balked. And has basically ruined Christmas in America by abusing his power.

Meanwhile, the House, to be called briefly back into session by Speaker Pelosi on Monday (12/28/20), will vote in an override attempt to bypass Trump's massive objection and if that effort is successful, the Senate could vote to override Mr. Whimsical's bulky recalcitrance on Tuesday (12/29/20), the day of a Full Moon @8Can53 (10:28 pm est; see horoscope in linked post, above). Now as you know, Full Moons signify a culmination stage of activities, perhaps a fulfillment of plans seeded at the previous New Moon (or before) and in this case, that would be the New Moon @23Sag08 - in other words, the difficult 4 South Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020 (which hit Inauguration 2017's 8th house Saturn, karmic planet of authority and accountability). So we find that 4 South themes ('strong emotions over money and/or relationships; an urge to suddenly end relationships' - Brady) are intimately involved in Trump's balking posture which may be appreciated via the 4 South Eclipse conjuncting his natal Sun-NN opposing Moon-SN across the mutable, changeable Gemini-Sagittarius polarity where truth and ethics matter.

Add to this the fact that December 14, 2020 was the day of the Electoral College Vote which didn't go his way and so We The People are being made to suffer under a cluster of cosmic and earthly factors now burrowing under the vengeful skin of his royal Balkiness, with his natal Leo Mars always opposing US natal Moon in Aquarius.

Significantly, all the year-end financial fuss is rather closely timed by the December 29th Full Moon which, as the Cosmos would have it, shines its bright rays revealingly upon the natal Mercury of Donald Trump (@8Can51 - only a two-minute orb!). And where his natal Mercury goes, along must trail his fantasy-spinning, error-prone Mercury-Neptune square.

Now as you know, astrological Mercury's many roles in the realms of Commerce include trading, negotiating, and making deals, and who can forget that Mr. Trump is well known for considering himself an expert in the making of them. However, in our time of crisis, we find that Despite His Boasts, Trump Again Is No Deal-Maker as Congress Seeks Pandemic Relief Bill yet the "brooding lame duck" seems to pride himself on his late-comer status in the year-end legislative process as he throws his typical monkey wrench into the works from the sandtraps of his luxurious Florida golf course.

While US taxpayers once again foot the bill for Herr Spanky's Christmas vacation, no matter how bad-tempered it turns out to be.

December 14, 2020: a Solar Eclipse then a VOC Moon

As you know, on Inauguration Day 2021 the Moon will go void-of-course but even before that, we have another significant day with a VOC Moon: December 14, 2020, the day of a 4 South Solar Eclipse and, unless their schedule changes, the day the Electoral College members will cast their votes for president. Now admittedly, I'm one of the ones who suspect that Trump has a trick up his sleeve as a last-ditch effort to shift the November 2020 Election outcome to his favor. Because if he possibly can, he'll drag things out even longer than he already has - on into January 2021 like the craven, compromised saboteur he is, with no care for our nation and no concern for the American people.

And of course the possibility of yet another Trump Government Shut Down looms before us as well for funds to run the government will 'run out' on December 11th - with a Sun-Mars trine at 1:01 am, and a Moon-Uranus opposition at 8:43 am est.

Meanwhile, if you view the bi-wheel of horoscopes linked above, you'll see December 14's 4 South Eclipse @23Sag08 'eclipsing' Trump's Inauguration 2017's 8th house Saturn, planet of authority. A significant cosmic event? I truly hope so.

As for the December 14th VOC Moon (if needed, follow the first link above for a few notes concerning potentials of a VOC Moon), the moment the eclipse ends (11:17 am est), the Moon goes VOC until Luna enters Saturn-ruled Capricorn at 10:35 pm est. (This lunar condition could mean that no one can interfere with the electoral proceedings, much as Trump and his operatives want to - or that results could turn out in a way no one expects.)

So! Moon or no Moon, I intend to send out encouraging vibes to the electors to get their voting business over with before 11:17 am - and to not turn faithless on the American people who are clearly wa-a-a-y over con man Donald Trump: wastrel extraordinaire, serial bankrupt, fraudster with mob ties, and fulltime liar and cheat.

Below is my version of the Spring Equinox 2021 Horoscope set for Washington DC, March 20th 5:37:25 am edt with Ascendant @21AQ02 and Jupiter in Aquarius rising which inspired the chart's (and season's) title, "A Sense of Social Justice".

This particular entry to SO'W is sort of an 'early bird' post with only basic study notes penned upon the chart for those who may wish to enlarge the image and view them; this cosmic event falls into the 4 South Saros Series which manifests on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 (this chart in 10th house), the Series or family of solr eclipses in effect until the next Solar Eclipse @20Gemini in the 5 North Series on June 10, 2021 (or up until about two weeks prior so its effects may begin to be felt in late May 2021):

Horoscopes: November and December 2020 Eclipses

2020 into 2021: Nervous Times and Cosmic Blinks

Simply for the sake of comparison, below is a dual image of the two upcoming eclipses that will round out year 2020 and escort society into 2021 with their disruptive, revealing Uranian 'wild card' and 'cosmic blink' qualities: Lunar Eclipse @8Gem38 (lower left) of November 30, 2020 and the Total 4 South December 14, 2020 Solar Eclipse @23Sag08 (the day the Electoral College is scheduled to vote). The eclipses occur across the Gemini-Sagittarius axis which is ruled by Mercury and Jupiter, and both manifest in Mutable (changeable) signs.

However, the Lunar Eclipse brings in Fixed Signs of Taurus-Scorpio and Leo-Aquarius suggesting rigidity within financial and business interests (Taurus-Scorpio) in partnerships (Asc-Desc) with the self-will stubbornness of Leo-AQ affecting career and security matters across the 4/10 axis. Yet perhaps a bit of Aquarian humanitarianism will sneak in to our Domestic Scene (Ic/4th house). And since the November Lunar Eclipse @8Gem38 conjuncts US natal Uranus (8Gem55), yet another unusual twist of fate could appear on America's calendar during this particular eclipse season which just as easily denotes a positive twist so that no additional nervousness will be warranted ahead of time. Pre-worrying never assures good outcomes anyway!

And so the December Solar Eclipse falls within the difficult 4 South Saros Series and perfects near the South Node of the fluctuating Moon so energy tends to drain away from conditions and karma from the past is involved with 10th house matters (Washington DC). Mercury @20Sag05, planet of young people, writing, reporters, messages (ex: tweets), negotiations, commerce, theft, and/or elections, is nearest the eclipse and conjunct the Saturnian South Node indicating ideas and solutions ahead or behind their times, or those that could be plagiarized.

Also, you see that in the 1st-7th houses, the Virgo-Pisces axis (also Mercury-Jupiter ruled) is intercepted suggesting fated issues that must be dealt with in the victim-savior realms (ex: Trump's caged children? hunger and eviction due to the lack of a stimulus package from Congress?). Well, victim-savior issues we know - we've been feeling and experiencing them for quite some time now (for illness, see below).

Influences of the December 14th Solar Eclipse can begin for up to at least two weeks prior to December 14th, perhaps earlier in November. Astro-Notes on the Solar and Lunar Eclipses of 2021

America 2021: Treading a Fork'd Path under Four Eclipses

October 28, 2020: We're mere days away from the November 3rd Presidential Election with everything hanging in the balance and the American people poised at a crossroads as we face a New Year, 2021. And since eclipses 'run in the background' of society (and affect history as it turns out!), a list of 2021 Solar and Lunar Eclipses with a few details might come in handy at some point.

Actually, Year 2021 begins with a Lunar Eclipse @5Sag25 which perfects on May 26th and significantly, is the cosmic 'bookend' of the previous Total Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 in the rather difficult 4 South Saros Series (potentials for: frustration, strong emotions over money and/or relationships; a sudden desire to end relationships). With an eclipse in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius we can expect our ongoing searches for truth and our ethical and morals concerns to continue well into 2021. Perhaps you agree that gone-astray America has much repair work to do and a large amount of reality to face especially considering the misplaced idealism that has been ineffectively guiding of our nation off a cliff. That is, repair work if we wish to follow a better path toward karmic progress. Of course, deceptive Neptune floating through its own shady sign of Pisces hasn't aided many of us on the side of clarity, has it? Instead, contagion, disease, fear, paranoia, loss, confusion, disappointment, fraud, theft, and corruption have ruled a majority of our days.

Well, I say more of Neptune's talent for creative inspiration is due!

So the next eclipse of 2021 will be an annual Solar Eclipse (not as strong as a Total of course--unless it contacts something in your chart!) on June 10th @19Gem47 in the 5 North Saros Series (visions; prophetic dreams; good insights, inspiration, and ideas). The duration of this eclipse is 3:51 so its effects may endure for nearly 4 months or years, if you can believe it. Well, it isn't as if we don't need good ideas. And inspired solutions. But hopefully, 2021's prophetic dreams and visions are not a reference to this gnarly issue, something few people are ready for, if so.

As for the June 2021 Solar Eclipse, Mercury-ruled Gemini is the polar opposite of Sagittarius, between them a common-sense Mercury-Jupiter signature. And with quick-thinking Gemini, reasoning ability and logic will be most important if we are to have any chance of making karmic progress in 2021. To me this suggests a Biden administration of professionals who know how to govern although you are welcome to disagree. And yes, we should acknowledge that 19-20 Gemini conjuncts Trump's Gemini trio (Uranus-NN-Sun) so if he's still on the scene (and he will be, a hulk lurking somewhere) he will use his inherent capriciousness, duplicity, and superficiality to interfere with America's karmic progress (whether he's in the White House or not) bwo regressive, reactionary policies and conspiratorial propaganda.

However, for Trump this eclipse may imply a Geminian news network or a show of some kind for the old geezer in lieu of fours more years in the White House. (His natal Sun-Moon opposition will be eclipsed, after all.) Plus, I'm fairly certain that his loquacious Mercury in emotional Cancer would adore such an opportunity to whine in a new format where he can continue to 'show off' his own version of truth via the natal Mercury-Neptune square that misinforms his sneaky mind and inspires him to invent malicious schemes. A network or show if lock-up is avoided, that is.

Next up is a partial Lunar Eclipse @27Tau14 on November 19th. This falls within the Pleiades Constellation, not my favorite area of the heavens for it contains nasty, violent Algol, in the Head of the Medusa, a star known for 'piled up corpses' in China. Trump's natal Midheaven (his life's goal: piled up corpses) is nearby the Taurus Eclipse which occurs in opposition to Biden's natal Sun and Venus in late Scorpio, plus, Biden's natal Mercury-ASC midpoint which suggests lots of meetings, discussions, and perhaps a search for a person who compliments his abilities in some way (eclipse in Biden's natal 7th house). For Trump the Taurus Eclipse manifests in his 10th house of Career so for best results he should concern himself with matters that involve his integrity (?) and how he serves the public. Not that service to others is one of his personal qualities, I'm just reading the eclipse placement here so obviously, to me if not to you, this relates to certain lacks in his character and his focus on materialism (Taurus, the builder). This could conceivably be a reference to financial legal matters for Trump particularly if he's out of office in January 2021 - and especially if Democrats keep the House and flip the Senate (admittedly a dream of mine--you caught me). For as you know, both Solar and Lunar Eclipses are similar to quirky planet Uranus and are 'wild cards of the Universe' that tend to uncover secrets and inconvenient facts.

For Joe Biden the December 2021 12Sag Eclipse falls within his natal 1st house which personalizes it for him, and for Trump it occurs in his natal 4th house of Domestic Scene, one of the psychological houses where his natal Sag Moon-South Node conjunction resides, a cosmic marker for emotional estrangement, bottomless emotional needs, and difficult relationships.

117th Congress scheduled to open January 3, 2021

Speculative Astro-Notes Concerning the 117th Congress of 2021

September 8, 2020: If all goes according to plan, the 117th Congress will open on January 3, 2021, and unless Election 2020 in November results in leadership changes, Mike Pence will continue as President of the Congress.

Now I won't write much about the speculative January 3, 2021 chart set for Capitol Hill Washington DC and "noon EST" (in lieu of an announced hour - even the date could change), but below are a few general observations concerning the day's planets, plus, here's a view of the horoscope of the 117th Congress' Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') for which we do not need a correct opening hour in order to ascertain the opening's 'PE' for as long as the 117th Congress opens in January 2021, its 4 South PE remains the case with a 'fated' theme intact - plus, it's also the PE of Inauguration 2021:

117th Congress: January 3, 2021 noon est Capitol Hill shows 19Aries04 rising, the exaltation of the Sun degree. Naturally, the Sun (leadership) @13Cap32 conjuncts the noon Midheaven ('MC') while opposing US natal Sun (July 4, 1776) suggesting a period when government goals and objectives should be reassessed and, if necessary, a change of direction may be taken. This is due to the fact that annually, January 3rd (or 4th) is the Executive Branch's "un-birthday." So with Mars-ruled Aries rising, Mars is chart-ruler (@28Ari32 and rising in 1st house) and makes three applying Ptolemaic aspects in the chart: 1. square Saturn (@1AQ56 in career 10th house conjunct bold Altair the eagle) causing difficulties, delays, stalling, lack of preparation or planning, frustration, challenges to authority, and with a potential for anger; 2. square Jupiter (@3AQ24 in 10th house) suggesting overreach, exaggeration, risk-taking, empty gestures, and/or sloppiness with details; 3. conjunct Uranus Rx (@6Tau46 in 1st house) which indicates unusual or nontraditional actions and circumstances along with an explosive and/or shocking quality. First house denotes early expression of these restless energies with society's current anarchistic, protesting, even rioting activities also indicated--for discussion or possibly legislation in Congress, if not actual physical expression. Unexpected events may occur!

The Mars-Uranus Conjunction becomes exact on January 20, 2021 @6Tau44 and rises in the Inauguration 2021 Horoscope, as you know. And obviously whenever Mars and Uranus combine their highly charged energies, violent measures may be taken, risky or dangerous behavior can complicate issues and bring unfortunate consequences, and/or accidents may occur. For more dangerous indications, add to this the fact that the transiting Uranus-Pluto midpoint not only opposes their Great Conjunction degrees of 1965/66 (mid-Pisces) and stimulating street clashes, Civil Rights demands, and upheaval as before, but Uranus-Pluto also conjuncts the destructive January 3, 2021 Mars-Saturn midpoint (aka, the 'death axis'--Ebertin). "Not a pretty picture" hardly describes the mundane possibilities of this pile-up especially considering the vicious form of politics and vengeance being practiced.

So however the Inauguration 2021 ceremony goes, We The People can expect the unexpected with a desperate Uranian chaos-creator Trump involved and what for him will be a major test of nerves and strength.

Closely Related is the First Lunation of 2021 - a New Moon @23Cap13 of January 13th which falls in the middle of the 117th Congress' Mercury-Pluto Conjunction (22-25Cap), and as we know, is within the overly stimulated "Capricorn corridor", super-sensitized ever since January 12, 2020 when karmic Saturn and Pluto conjoined @22Cap46 - conjunct Trump's natal Vertex (22:51) of fated encounters. (Actually, January 3 2021 is almost a Mercury Return to the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction Horoscope's Mercury - exact January 4th at 4:07 am est with an exact Moon-Neptune opposition hinting at scandals, illusions, and a deceptive environment); meanwhile, Venu$ @23Cap48 activates the Capricorn New Moon linked, above! So apparently, new activities are being seeded and planned in the realms of Mercury-Pluto and finances, and at some point we'll be able to blame or credit the 117th Congress for the consequences.

Now several potentials are indicated for the combination of Mercury and Pluto such as 'political talk that offers abrupt changes to some functions; high security and intelligence activities; communications satellites; news of space exploration, orbital weapons, or toxic gases'.

Other possibilities include: 'secrets involving business or transportation systems; hidden activities; self-destructive impulses in business; and/or breakdowns in road networks (and one wonders: in cyber networks? hacks and leaks? grid or voting machine attacks?). 'Paranoia about secrets', plus, 'ruthless investigations' are also suggested (Munkasey) along with 'propaganda, persuasion, the power of suggestion, overzealousness, sly cunning, sharp criticism, a famous orator, plagiarism, demagoguery, fraudsters, and/or diplomacy (Ebertin). I'll add, malicious scheming, plus, the fact that Mercury is out-of-bounds ('OOBs') so there's no telling what he or she is up to - or what outrageous things may be said, reported, or what may be stolen. Then as always, running in the background is America's natal Mercury-Pluto opposition of total awareness, surveillance/spying, confidential information, mind control, censorship and publishing which affects all such matters in a challenging way. But all results must depend upon which political party comes out victorious in House, Senate, and White House, and that's a secret even the Universe is keeping close to her vest.

Davos World Economic Forum moves to Summer 2021

August 26, 2020: Citing Covid-19 concerns and the amount of global travel involved, it is reported that the date for World Economic Forum 2021 at Davos has been moved from January 2021 to Summer 2021. This effectively removes the Forum's Reset Agenda from underneath the influence of the difficult December 14, 2020 4 South Solar Eclipse to the more amenable 5 North Solar Eclipse of June 10, 2021 - as long as the Forum's yet-to-be-announced opening occurs within two weeks prior to June 10th (and of course, thereafter).

Therefore, if the Forum opens during the final week of May 2021, 5 North influences will be in play with themes of 'visions, prophetic dreams, and insights which can be acted upon' (Brady), solar-lunar energies which can be used positively or negatively. With this solar eclipse, Mercurial Geminian favors (trade, commerce, arriving at a crossroads) will be evident. And naturally, such a rescheduling of approximately 6 months makes my previous post concerning the 2021 World Economic Forum at least partially moot. However, the post does link to an article about the group's 2021 economic 'Reset Agenda' and displays the DC Horoscope of the final of three Jupiter-Pluto Conjunctions which perfects on November 12, 2020. Now as you know, the Jupiter-Pluto pair relates closely to financial matters, corporations and Big Bankers such as the Houses of Rothchild and Morgan, plus, the Federal Reserve Banking System, speculation, huge projects, and Plutocracy.

Whether the tyranny of plutocracy will be one of the Forum's topics of discussion or be part of their 'reset agenda' goals to be furthered in the world must remain to be seen. For now it appears that fear of Covid-19 has them and their big-picture plans on the run.

Monday August 24, 2020: Of Cosmic Blinks, Secrets, and Cheats

Between the Summer Solstice 2020 Solar Eclipse in the 4 North Saros Series and the Total December 14, 2020 Solar Eclipse in the difficult 4 South Saros Series comes a significant Lunar Eclipse @8Gem38 across the 2/8 axi$ when the horoscope is set for Washington DC.

Below is the DC Horoscope of the November 30, 2020 Lunar Eclipse @8Gem38 which conjuncts US natal Uranus (8Gem55 July 4, 1776). So although this Gemini Lunar Eclipse falls within the 4 North Solar Eclipse Saros Series of June, it's actually associated with the Sagittarius Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020 in the 4 South Series with its 'money and relationship' concerns. An accompanying lunar eclipse reveals a sequence - here across the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity - relating to the karmic issues within its solar eclipse themes and provides information concerning the Collective's inner and/or emotional reactions to the disruptive karmic issues and problems. Here we have a Gemini Lunar Eclipse suggesting that a variety (Gemini) of solutions should be tried prior to and during the December 14th Solar Eclipse season in the Jupiterian realms of the eclipse's Sagittarian issues of ethics and morals, as noted in the center of the horoscope; a large splash of integrity would be appreciated, too:

Then can this Eclipse conjunct US natal Uranus be a picture of the US military preparing for action of a shocking nature on, before, or after January 20, 2021? Perhaps so. But basically, this revealing Horoscope of the Gemini Lunar Eclipse contains a preponderance of financial indicators along with 'social and religious fanaticism' vibes via the Capricorn trio (Saturn-Pluto = Jupiter). Add to this that Mercurial Gemini is the juggler, magician, and the trader (or, traitor), isn't he/she? Well, as you see, Mercury @27Sco48 rises in 1st house, disposits the eclipse Moon, and rules the corporate 8th house and the 11th house of Groups and Associations, Hopes and Wishes.

Other chart factors include 'values and currency' planet Venus rising in the Big Business sign of intense, brooding Scorpio and leading a Locomotive shape. A 'ruthless executive determined on success' is indicated by astrological Venus, the engine who, as an actor in our cosmic drama, can be vengeful, envious, and petty, or, more positively can signify some variety of diplomacy. Perhaps you've heard a few economic pundits warning about the potential for devaluation of the US dollar so we'll see if matters continue to skew in that downward direction. Others have hinted that Trump might crash the US economy if he loses in November. This could be what this eclipse shows especially since his PE is activated, as noted above, and the Total 4 South Solar Eclipse of December 14 2020 'eclipses' his natal Moon-South Node while opposing natal Sun-North-Node in Gemini, as we've previously discussed. However events turn out for him, Trump's 4/10 Home-Career axis is intimately involved.

1910/2020: $$$

Now if you will, check around the outside of the above horoscope and you'll see planetary placements of the Federal Reserve ('the Fed') based on the entity's secret organizational meeting on Jekyll Island, Georgia, timed by the December 1, 1910 New Moon @8Sag49, marked in green (3rd house). With the US economy shaky as Election Day 2020 approaches, will the November Lunar Eclipse uncover leaks and/or Secrets of the Federal Reserve? Or will it simply uncover more facts concerning Trump and Co's fraud and corruption? Note that some Fed planets (in green) are listed simply as '1910' and the Fed's 1910 Mars-Jupiter rising = 2020 Venus which suggests using guile vs force when competing. Plus, bottom right, you see listed the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction and the third of three Jupiter-Pluto Conjunctions ('the Fed') both of which relate to the financial implications of this eclipse.

Also messily penned around the chart are the Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto of America (July 4, 1776) and of course, the hairy gorilla in the room (3rd house) is transit Saturn @28Cap21 and the taskmaster's continued ruffling of US natal Pluto Rx (27Cap33), a period of power and control issues, conditions too large to easily handle, and a lack of resources. Meanwhile transit Pluto @23Cap15 continues his opposition to Trump's natal Saturn in watery Cancer with Trump's new barricade of a wall built around the White House. Perhaps now his watery Saturn, planet of walls, borders, and fear, feels safe now. But neglecting his responsibilities during this Saturn-Pluto transit garners him little applause or reward so for 'best results' from the 2020 Election, cheating really is the only 'solution' for Trump and the GOP.

And significantly, all the Capricorn action is occurring on and around America's Inauguration Midheaven for all the world to see. Yes, Saturn to MC is a picture of Election 2020 and the assumption of control but the placement can also indicate a 'fall from grace' so we have that going against us.

Now as you see, coming right up is the midpoint between Saturn and Midheaven ('MC') rising on the Ascendant which forms a picture of 'hindered growth, shared anxiety, separation, and/or unfortunate circumstances' for some. However, the Saturn-MC duo can also denote important people! (Ebertin) with the difference depending upon other chart factors, as is always the case.

Now in closing, I want to add a note with cosmic time link implications:

The 4 South Solar Eclipse on December 14, 2020 @23Sagittarius potentially activates by degree the June 13, 1984 Lunar Eclipse @23Sag which was the accompanying Lunar Eclipse of the May 30, 1984 Solar Eclipse @9Gemini - in the 4 North Saros Series (as is the Summer Solstice 2020 Eclipse). To me, if not to you, this amount of reciprocal cosmic energy seems significant given our current conditions of light vs dark, and so, as usual, comparing the cosmic time link between years 1984 (Reagan: 're-elected') and 2020 (Trump: probably bwo cheating) through the 'rhyming' of historical events would most likely be informative for the curious seeker.

RNC 2020 Speaker Line-Up: Quirky or Nice?

Sunday August 23, 2020: This is the fairest way I could think of to title this post and describe the upcoming week's line-up of speakers at the RNC 2020: quirky or nice? Naturally the answer depends on which side of the political spectrum you crouch upon and how strong your interest in what Don Jr, Melania, both Pences (adding their two cents' worth?), Ivanka, and Donald Donald Donald have to say. For even more quirkiness and perhaps a chuckle or a yawn, there may be some odd ducks quacking by such as Kid Rock, the My Pillow Guy, oddball Ted Nugent, plus the 'demon sperm doctor' lady personage. Actually, major popcorn popping may be the activity of the week.

Then on Thursday August 27th, Trump plans to accept his party's nomination, politically a foregone conclusion if there ever was a foregone conclusion especially for those who've heard of what is said to be his nibs' fervent longing for a 'coronation' in January. Expansive, big-headed Jupiterian Trump's royal Regulus rising (with sun god Apollo no less!) tends to give him monarchical ideas for himself but with the caution of Regulus still haunting his vengeful, grudge-holding, petty life, he may not receive the crown he covets with all that revenge and retaliation in his cold heart. Crazy isn't it? To have steaming hot Mars rising in fiery, royal Leo along with royal Regulus conjunct Ascendant and yet your Leonine heart is as cold as ice.

So with the 2020 Presidential Election approaching, let's consider the fact that how successfully a person holds and handles a position of authority has much to do with the condition of her or his natal Saturn. Summer 2020: Uranus-Pluto and Crisis Across America

Monday June 1, 2020: Prior to the brutal murder-by-cop of George Floyd (May 25, 2020 8:30 pm cdt Minneapolis, MN; 3Sag05 rising with his natal Neptune 5:34, then Venus 6:03) which has triggered protests, riots, and violence across our nation, I had access to my original 'Jude Cowell' Facebook account and page on which I had asked a general astrology-related question which received several interesting replies from my astute FB friends.

This became a discussion concerning the Great Conjunctions of Uranus and Pluto which perfected thrice on October 9, 1965, April 4 1966, and June 30, 1966--all in mid-Virgo (17:10, 16:28, and 16:06 respectively), and all three conjunct my natal Virgo Ascendant--and the fact that the transiting midpoint between Uranus and Pluto was now @16Pisces and therefore opposing their intense, revolutionary conjunctions of the 1965/66 across the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior axis. What I'd hoped not to face was that their midpoint might trigger similar violence, turbulence, and upheaval as their conjunctions had done--riots, protests, battles lines drawn, broken store windows and heads, shootings, arrests, shady figures in black showing up to stir events into conflagration, purposeful arson, and even assassinations as in the 1960s. Perhaps I can be forgiven for counting George Floyd as one such victim.

While History May Not Repeat It Very Often Rhymes: Long-Held Grievances now Released

So you can tell where I'm going with this, right? My worst concerns are now confirmed y events for it turns out that, yes, the transiting Uranus-Pluto midpoint of 2020 can trigger the powerful Uranus-Pluto Conjunctions of the 1960s with similar violent results and demands for freedom from oppression. Of course the combined intensity of Uranus-Pluto built and simmered prior to 1965, was most intense during their exact conjunctions, and extended beyond them. This particular planetary pair is so intense, electrical, deep, and transforming that its destabilizing, disruptive, oppressive and persecuting 'vibes' stretched through the 1960s decade, as you know, and had noticeably and finally waned by 1970.

Of course, there were other planetary influences happening in the 1960s, different from those of 2020, but this is beyond the scope of this post. With one exception--that the Uranus-Pluto Conjunctions had one significant opponent uncomfortably traversing watery Pisces--old man Saturn, karmic planet of The Establishment and the status quo. This helped to set up a generational dynamic between young vs old, counterculture vs business-as-usual, as anti-Vietnam War protests, black rights and other civil rights movements against oppression, were engaged, often with rage. Add to this the fact that mid-Pisces holds a star of crisis, Achernar, and its themes have in 2020 been reactivated by the transiting Uranus-Pluto midpoint (along with transiting Neptune in its own shady sign of Pisces, bringing paranoia, contagion and pandemic in its wake). Can a powerful planetary midpoint activate a fixed star's themes? Reluctantly I must say, yes.

Here's Noel Tyl on potentials for Uranus-Pluto = Saturn: 'tendency toward autocratic leadership' (then as now!); 'my way is the best way' (say authoritarians--then as now); toppled from position; pressure from others; egotism" (Solar Arcs).

US Politics and Rebellious Uranus-Pluto

One prominent disrupted social event within those Uranus-Pluto years was the infamous 1968 DNC in Chicago where over 600 people were arrested, hundreds were injured, Democrat Hubert Humphrey was nominated, hired instigators and intruders showed up (then as now) to make matters worse, and a later investigation of the turbulent protests and violence led to the label "police riot." An ultimate result was that laws and government were changed--then as will be now. Here's a 1m 45s WGN News video with actual footage and details that pretty well sums up the DNC Events of August 1968. And of course, current riots and protests now drench the globe and the Internet for anyone with a hankering to view or review them. Turn on a device--any device--and there they are in your face and broadcast around the world to make certain that other countries know that haughty America is wounded and weeping. One political thought is that the Soviet Union fell, now it's America's turn. It's a large part of the reason Trump was installed--to make America's collapse happen and finagling a 'race riot' is a basic tactic for such Utopian saboteurs and swindlers. Uranus, planet of zealous radical anarchists, syncs with stealthy, power-mad Pluto, the distant manipulator with his hidden wealth and destructive plans for society--for civilization.

Solar Eclipses Then and Now

Now as you know, DNC and RNC 2020 are apparently scheduled for August 2020 after the Summer Solstice 2020 Eclipse @00Cancer, a Cardinal World Point of manifestation. Yet 2020 convention details are iffy due to coronavirus concerns wherever large crowds congregate. But there were no such concerns for contagion in the 1960s which enjoyed something of a musical exclamation point to the turbulent era when the very peaceful, peace-loving Woodstock Festival of 1969 (horoscope shown) was held in upstate New York - mud, Jimi Hendrix playing The Star-Spangled Banner, and all. Yet music, social movements, and social network memes are contagious, right? We even call things "viral" when they're shared round and round.

This 1966 eclipse fell into the difficult 4 South Saros Series which, sorry to tell you, repeats on December 14, 2020 @23Sagittarius, the very day the Electoral College is set to vote, last I heard, and with Trump's natal Sag Moon and South Node 'eclipsed'. For it can't be denied that in 2020 we are, in fact, influenced by the same Solar Eclipses and themes that ran in the background of the years 1965 and 1966, but with 2020 eclipses manifesting in different signs and with a different panoply of planetary actors in attendance at each 'cosmic blink' event - some harmoniously, some discordantly, and some a grand cosmic mixture of both. As Above, So Below!, an oft-quoted phrase in Astrology that for me personally represents the comforting Scriptural assurance that,

"--Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven."

Rupert Murdoch's Solar Eclipse will soon repeat!

Murdoch's Natal Chart and the 2020 Return of his Prenatal Solar Eclipse

According to The Independent, Murdoch-Trump ties go back to the 1980s when Murdoch's New York Post made playboy Trump a gossip column regular. But these days Mr. Murdoch has a dim view of the man he describes as an a**hole he can't get off the phone, plus, other choice descriptions which appear in Michael Wollf's book Siege: Trump Under Fire, published in June 2019 as a sequel to his Fire and Fury.

Anyway, this post is not about their relationship as much as to display the natal horoscope of media mogul Rupert Murdoch (below) and note that his Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') in the difficult 4 South Saros Series will again manifest on December 14, 2020--this time @23Sag08, conjunct Murdoch's 12th house Moon (12th house of Hospitals? Moon = physical body; well, he is of an advanced age, born in 1931).

And yet there's more to Rupert's eclipse story and it involves--you guessed it--Donald Trump. Apparently karmic cosmic links exist between the two men which I'd never noticed before until I nosed into Murdoch's Prenatal Solar Eclipse.

So below is a view of Murdoch's March 11, 1931 Natal Horoscope with details penned upon the chart in my usual messy fashion for those who wish to read them. Highlighted in green (lower left) you'll see that his recent Saturn Return (@21Cap04, 1st house) occurred on December 29, 2019 and was soon conjoined by the January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction (22Cap46--conjunct Trump's natal Vertex 22:51, yet another karmic indicator). Power and control issues abound for Murdoch these days along with regrets over the past and a potential for limitations on his ambitions. (See below for a note on his natal Saturn-Pluto opposition).

Additionally, Mr. Murdoch has already passed his Uranus Return/s which perfected in 2014 into 2015 (highlighted in blue, lower right), a watershed time when the past no longer holds as much power over him and he began to feel an urge for freedom--and appropriately, in June 2015 came the announcement that he was stepping down as company CEO, handing the reins to his son, but would still "have a voice" in company operations:
