Astro-Notes on Joe Biden and the CFR

March 4, 2020: Not to Dissuade But to Inform

by Jude Cowell

For some time now it's been known that 2020 candidate Joe Biden, he of the Democratic persuasion, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, or is somehow associated with the social tinkering group. The following post is intended to inform anyone who is unaware of what such an association has meant and what it could mean in US Politics if former VP Biden enters the Oval Office once again--this time as president. Take the information with a grain of salt if you wish but don't cast your vote on November 3, 2020 without considering! And as always, your on-topic comments are welcome.

The CFR website has a page on Democratic candidate (and probably the party's 2020 nominee for POTUS) Joseph R. Biden for those who care to look. The Council on Foreign Relations was founded on July 29, 1921 with headquarters in New York City and an office in Washington DC. As we can see, the group will be 100 years old next year. Its statement on why the organization (aka, a think tank) was founded sounds pretty good to anyone unaware that the CFR is a promoter of the One World Government agenda, what elites once called the 'New World Order' (1993 horoscope shown). Maybe they still call it that, I do not know. But I do know that CFR members have infested the White House through several decades so having CFR Joe back there again and calling the shots can make little if any difference to America's "march" to global government (which means good-bye to 'nation states' and to US sovereignty) - other than the exalted mission of removing from office Herr Trump and the global crime syndicate/s he's in league with. An improvement? We can hope.

(Personally, I prefer a civilized society to Trump and his natal midpoint picture of horror and brutality, Mars-Saturn = Pluto, which is excessively violent, crass, cruel, and obviously on the barbaric side. As a maternal type, Trump's tendencies are naturally way over the line for a common-good supporter such as myself.)

So from the vantage point of March 4, 2020 in the throes of the 2020 campaign, it feels to me that the American people are caught in the crossfire between the CFR syndicate of experts vs figurehead Trump and his underworld criminal operatives and saboteurs who banded together to take over the White House, the US Supreme Court, and the US Congress. Meanwhile, as you've noticed, some pundits are calling the November 2020 Election the most significant ever and with this yours truly must agree even though I believe that social tinkerers purposefully set things up to be this way. Plus, with voting planet Mercury changing directions on that day I must wonder if the potential that the 2020 Election will be cancelled by Trump or by others--so that he can make a grandstand play for permanent control. Voting machines across America are so compromised after all yet election officials and politicians have had plenty of time to do something about the situation but didn't. Wonder why?

So please pardon me, dear reader, if I recognize the 2020 conflict as basically part of a final contest between Good and Evil. It's how I roll, and of course, you don't have to agree in spite of the super-karmic January 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction--two archetypal devils meeting @23Capricorn, a degree of governmental authority (DeVore) and forming a more or less steel trap clamping shut against society--against civilization. In fact, the corruption of the US legal system has been an integral part of the saboteurs' take-over plan. Could and will a President Biden fix it? I truly hope so and am willing to give him a vote and a chance to try!

Social Tinkerer and Early CFR-er David Rockefeller

Now perhaps you've read before the following quote by David Rockefeller which was previously published in a 2009 SO'W post:

"{For} as David Rockefeller said in his speech to the Trilateral Commission in 1991:"

"But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march toward a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries."

Surely preferable? Dear reader, in your opinion, does his holier-than-thou elitist attitude serve as justification for world domination?

Well, here's David Rockefeller spouting off again and bringing a complicit mainstream media directly into the globalist picture:

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine, and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years but the world is now more sophisticated & prepared to march towards a world government which will never again know war but only peace and prosperity for the whole of authority.” - David Rockefeller, member Council on Foreign Relations/Bilderberg/Trilateral Commission, June 5, 1991." (My italics.)

Peace and prosperity! For elites only?

Well, for me such revelations suffice as tells: greedy world bankers with a history of finagling global financial crashes and waging lucrative wars while continuing to exploit the masses--and a complicit intellectual elite who are no more honest than they have to be. For in recent years I've noticed that many such 'elites' in journalism, politics, and other fields 'answer' questions with phrases like, "What I can tell you is--". Is this phrase what they've been instructed to say publicly and nothing more? Is that all they can say without revealing too much of the agenda? Do lies always follow?

Well, anyway, I had a peek at CFR's 'noon' horoscope of July 29, 1921 (NYC) and discovered that the CFR was founded under some interesting midpoint pictures. Below is a list of a few of them with their potential manifestations--note that midpoints are always subject to future transits and progressions but some may never express at all ('noon' chart Angles are not included):

Jupiter-Pluto = Neptune: 'being deceptive; adjusting the data; omitting key facts; working a situation into one's own format; cheating'.

Neptune-Pluto = Mars: 'used as a tool for other people's interests; succumbing to external powers; great personal magnetism to set things right, or rejection of actions because of misunderstanding'.

Neptune-North-Node = Jupiter: 'exploitation'.

Venus-Mars = Pluto: 'the conquest'.

Venus-Jupiter = Sun: 'advancement in life; being appreciated'.

Sun-Mercury = Mars: 'nervous drive; energies to tackle a project'.

And if we wish to include the position of the Taurean Moon at noon we have Uranus-Neptune (the NWO pair) = Moon: 'emotional conviction, realistic or fanciful; the sense of being on the right track to do one's best'.

Well, it's a fact that transit Pluto in 2017 reached 18Capricorn ('POLITICAL POWER'--Jones) and triggered the 1993 Uranus-Neptune Conjunction (18Capricorn) and the midpoint picture the trio formed has seemingly acted as a karmic timing device for the globalist agenda:

1993 Uranus-Neptune = 2017 Pluto: 'the big picture demands a certain course of action, which must be followed, very little option to do otherwise' (Tyl). Sounds like an offer they couldn't refuse! Then was Donald Trump aware of such a demand in 2017? Is Joe Biden aware of it in 2020 and 2021? Is Trumpism part of the agenda or against it? He pretends to be against globalism but is he? Will there be a Bidenism?

1921: A Sinister Solar Eclipse for the CFR

Now the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of the CFR occurred on April 8, 1921 @17Ari59 in the 13 South Saros Series with themes of 'sinister energy underneath; potential constitutional crisis; striving for group endeavors, either positively or negatively' (Brady's Predictive Astrology).

Then is it poetic injustice, or simply a cosmic synchronicity, that the PE of the third of three conjunctions of NWO planets, Uranus and Neptune (October 24, 1993 Sun @1Sco24, Moon @29AQ; Uranus-Neptune @18Capricorn--horoscope linked, above), also fell into the sinister 13 South Saros Series? And when is the next 13 South Eclipse?

In 2029.

Now here are Two Natal Horoscopes of note: David Rockefeller (an untimed chart, but born in 1915, he was a powerful Saturn-Pluto kinda guy, plus, a double-dealing double Gemini). And Trump opponent (unless they're secretly on the same page!) Joseph R. Biden. How tragic for America and the world if it turns out that these two players are cheering for the same ultimate result while vying for the same WH catbird seat?

Well, there's more to the CFR situation, of course, but I'll hush my fussin' for now and add that midpoint potentials herein are suggested by master astrologers Tyl, Ebertin, and Munkasey, and do leave your on-topic comment with this post if you feel so inclined. And please Share if you dare. Oh! And be certain to vote on November 3, 2020 for anyone but the current crime-boss-in-chief!! jc

Spring Equinox 2020's 2nd House Planetary Pairs

More on Spring Equinox 2020

by Jude Cowell

February 13, 2020: If you've watched Revealing Light Tarot's reading covering the Next 6 Months you've noticed Mary Ann's focus on the month of March which naturally contains Spring Equinox 2020 (March 19 11:49 pm ET), a horoscope that serves for the entire year and marks the moment when the Sun conjuncts the Aries Point of World Events. And if you use the late afternoon US natal chart of July 4, 1776 that I tend most to use, this times the Sun's entrance into America's natal 4th house of Domestic Scene and Homeland (with its 4/10 Security implications). The following post is my attempt at an additional consideration of Spring Equinox 2020 (the horoscope set for Washington DC) and the emphasis created by the chart's 2nd hou$e planetary pairs opposing the corporate 8th hou$e. Obviously, we must keep in mind other matters of the 8th house which include death, transition, the occult, shared resources, taxes, debt and credit, and/or insurance.

Mars as 2nd-house Trigger conjuncts Jupiter, then Pluto, then Saturn

In the Spring Equinox 2020 Horoscope (chart shown) we find a full 2nd house (National Treasury; Values; Earning Ability) suggesting a heavy focus on financial matters, if not economic, budgetary, and/or currency concerns. So let's consider the planetary pairs therein for more information in the Realms of Politics and Business as provided by Michael Munkasey and the Hegelian model (creating problems then 'solving' them the way that was already intended).

First, a few basics:

2nd cusp 25Sag19 makes money bags Jupiter the 2nd-house ruler; Jupiter also rules 4th house with its cusp @6Pis46 along with the 'help' of deceptive loss-leader Neptune, planet of fraud and mergers. Transit Jupiter first conjoins Pluto (1A54) suggesting The Fed, then Saturn (7A040) pointing toward a new social, political, and economic order (see the Jupiter-Saturn link, below). Placements in 2nd house include the drain of the Moon's South Node, the tail of the dragon, suggesting a neurotic reliance on past tactics that are no longer effective, and most folks agree that Trump has certainly plopped our National Treasury resources into the red, in large part due to his Tax Cuts for the wealthy (Corporate Socialism for the 1%!). That the Cancer-Capricorn polarity is intercepted across the 2/8 axis in the Spring Equinox 2020 chart denotes karmic conditions which must be addressed via its Moon-Saturn influences of ambition, strategy, and direction. Saturn-ruled Capricorn's involvement implies investments and Wall Street trading with depressive Moon-Saturn vibes. However, taking direct action to solve problems can always mitigate this.

Meanwhile, with 24Scorpio46 rising, 2nd-house Mars is chart-ruler (and activating trigger), plus, the warrior planet also rules the 5th house of Speculation and Risk-Taking (5th cusp 8Ari17). And with Mars @22Cap35, the January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 is thereby activated suggesting potentials for: ruthlessness, violence, and/or 'the necessity to fight for existence' (Ebertin). Munkasey adds 'the need to use whatever means or power available to continue working' and as we know, royalist Trump keeps claiming for himself expansive powers that break the parameters placed in the US Constitution = unconstitutional behavior of the Executive Branch morphing the US government into an imperial monarchy.

Plus, a nod should be made toward the 6th house of Work and Service (Civil, Military, Police, etc), and Health which contains disruptive Uranus @4Tau32 (in Taurus = seeking unusual sources of funding; environmental concerns) and money planet Venus @15Tau56 (conservative in Taurus yet luxury-loving). Together the Venus-Uranus pair relates to money matters such as extravagant spending, waste, eventual bankruptcy, plus, estrangement and relationship break-ups.

So here are some of the potentials of the planetary pairs posited in the 2nd-house with a few comments and a steel industry link included by yours truly:

Mars-Jupiter Thesis: action taken in response to legal judgments (Barr shortening Roger Stone's sentence?); advice which angers or inflames others (ditto); too much legal activity or opinions; religious activities. Anti-thesis: judgment of enemies or those who seek to do battles; misuse of forces; an expansion of military hardware (and funding); legal opinions or judicial cases which affect the military or metal industries.

Mars-Pluto Thesis: security forces allied with the military; conducting clandestine operations; using police or military against criminal elements (oh could we?); attacks using powerful forces and weaponry. Anti-thesis: A police state with rigid military controls; use of suppression and torture as a means of enforcing policy (Trump's dream?); exporting upheaval and political theory to others as an objective; wars, rape, mayhem, chaos.

Mars-Saturn (with Saturn strong in Capricorn at a critical-crisis 29th degree) Thesis: curtailing force or military power by authorities; enforcement of honor through the use of strife or struggle; wars which persist (yep); frustration imposed upon or by criminal elements (Alert: mob boss in the White House!); demands to halt armaments. Anti-thesis: military actions which continue under political or other restrictions; an obligation to use force (NATO?) when restraint is required; the ambitious taking of what belongs to another; an older enterprise becomes angered.

And if we add health to the planetary pictures in consideration of our concerns over Trump's obese medical condition, bad diet, and what looks to be his continual drug use (sniff sniff!), we find that Mars-Jupiter = hip or liver surgery or a major operation, Mars-Pluto = tumors and/or toxic diseases of the sexual organs (late-stage syphilis?), and Mars-Saturn = high blood pressure, blockages (how could a fatty grub not have these?), weak or withered muscles, and/or hyper followed by hypo (Munkasey).

Biologically, to Mars-Jupiter Ebertin adds 'heart muscle' and 'activity of the organs'; to Mars-Pluto: replacement by 'artificial organs and functions' (including dentures); to Mars-Saturn: 'joints, muscles, bones, tendons, sinews, bone or bone marrow inflammation; atrophy of an organ, and/or muscle paralysis, particularly of the breathing mechanism (includes suffocation)'.

(An additional astro-note: today, February 13, 2020, marks the first of three exact oppositions from transit Pluto to Trump's natal Saturn in clannish Cancer and these challenging energies imprint upon the whole of 2020 for him, and thus for our nation (exact again on July 12th and December 20th). Aptly, Trump's abuse of power issues are front and center in the news this very day via his Roger Stone sentencing interference, as you know, along with rigid demands concerning his authority, accountability, and unreliability, demands which are always required by cosmic taskmaster Saturn - his, spotlighted all through 2020 by oppositions from powerful Pluto, planet of manipulation, control, secrets, criminality, and hidden wealth.)

Well, this post is my second pass at the Spring Equinox 2020 Horoscope (aka, Aries Ingress) using a different lens than before. And as always your on-topic comments are welcome (moderated to cull out the ads and trolls!) and my Thanks for any and all Shares which encourage more such SO'W posts! jc

2019--2020 Transits to Republican Party planets

Donald Trump Points Up Toward the Cosmos

During the Civil War, The Election of 1864 was "A Different kind of Election" during which Abraham Lincoln won his second term with 55% of the popular vote. The National Union Party, as the Republican Party was temporarily called at that time, counted Mr. Lincoln as a member.

Now with all the turmoil in America and the Republican Party in a bright spotlight we may wish to search for any major planetary transits to the Republican Party Horoscope. Thing is, there are at least two such horoscopes in circulation (that I know of!) yet with both set for 1854, we can be assured that the transits are in progress of affecting the party and its members with the main difference being one of timing of the transits' exactitude.

There are two Republican Party horoscopes in my files: March 20, 1854 6:30 pm LMT (Sun 00Ari05 conjunct Mercury Rx 5Ari18; Moon 20Sag27) Ripon, Wisconsin, and July 6, 1854 5:00 pm LMT (Sun 14Can27 Mercury 10Leo05; Moon 28Sco00 ) Ripon, Wisconsin. Either chart may be set for other hours depending on the choices made by various astrologers. (Note that no Angles or cusps are included or considered in the following.)

Current Transits of Saturn, Pluto, and Uranus

The 2019--2020 transiting planets I'm noting today are the exact Saturn-Pluto Conjunction of January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 (noon est) which 'hits' the natal Jupiters in both charts: March 20 Jupiter @22Cap59 and July 6 Jupiter Rx @23Cap52--with both Jupiters 2 to 5 degrees from Chiron in Capricorn (Chiron Rx on July 6, 1854), and transit Uranus on January 12, 2020 @2Tau39.

Now as I type (December 16, 2019 12:45 est Raleigh NC) transit Saturn @19Cap58 and tr Pluto @21Cap53--both moving in direct motion--are aligning for their big meeting on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 (conjunct Trump's natal vertex!) and to me it seems their energies are already affecting the Republican Party via its Jupiter and its Uranus (@1Tau30 on March 20, 1854 and 3Tau48 on July 6, 1854). Let's list them as separate transits:

2019-2020 Saturn conjunct 1854 Jupiter denotes a period of serious spiritual and economic concerns and possible restrictions in these realms; if prosperous it's time to share and to give back, plus, divergence from or breaking of rules, laws, and traditions leads to limitation, frustration, and delay.

2019--2020 Pluto conjunct 1854 Jupiter indicates a time when greater power and influence is sought in the political and financial realms (which may or may not succeed); total honesty is required for best results, exaggeration and misrepresentation can backfire, and social and/or religious reforms may inspire fanaticism and intolerance.

2019--2020 Uranus conjunct 1854 Pluto (@1Tau30 on March 20 and 3Tau35 on July 6, 1854) tends to bring abrupt shifts and changes in society and serious psychological adjustments that are necessary and may trigger hidden fears and complexes that are difficult to directly and honestly confront. And as you know, Uranus-Pluto energies combined suggests potentials for: riots, revolutions, protests, upheavals that bring changes in government, upsets, unrest, violent acts, subversive activities, the enforcement of decisions, the process of transformation, and 'collapse of the old order, construction of the new' (Ebertin). To Uranus-Pluto Michael Munkasey adds, "sudden new criminal acts." We see these every day!

Jupiter Expands What He Touches

In closing, we may also wish to consider the midpoint of harsh Saturn-Pluto with 1854 Jupiter as apex of a midpoint picture with potentials for: religious and social fanaticism, sacrifice, difficulties caused by illness (Ebertin); trouble with authority, trying to save what's left, staying out of trouble, adoption of the austere (Tyl); and/or, people with leadership and power to dispense (Munkasey).

Well, there's my spot check on the cosmic condition of the Republican Party (aka, the Trump Party) in our current day. If this post seems helpful or revealing at all perhaps you'll Share and discuss the topic among yourselves!

Late December 2019 Jupiter opposes US natal Jupiter

Thoughts of Jupiter December 2019 into 2020

by Jude Cowell

As anyone who studies America's founding horoscope of July 4, 1776 knows, US natal Jupiter @6Cancer (5:56), its Moon-ruled sign of exaltation, possesses a descriptive Sabian Symbol that the 'ruling elite' through the centuries, more often than not, have apparently taken to heart for their own selfish gain:

"Game Birds Feathering Their Nests."

And with Jupiter's cycle of approximately 12 years (11.6), we can say with reasonable assurance that on or about January 14, 2008, transit Jupiter opposed US natal Jupiter in the midst of the financial implosion and heist that was the Bush-Cheney regime in 2007--2008 so the opposition flavored the entirety of 2008 when the game birds' feathers 'hit the fan' but the dire effects were dumped onto We The People to lose and pay. Transit Jupiter opposing Jupiter denotes a period of discontent with wealth and personal achievement, discouraging comparisons that lower confidence, promises which often turn out to be duds, and there's an inability to impress anyone. Obviously, funds may be depleted during this transit possibly due to previous extravagance and/or waste, things that most of the 'ruling elite' practice with aplomb.

Well, now it's time for 2019 Jupiter to oppose US natal Jupiter (1776) once again which the planet of bankers, financiers, corporatists, gurus, generals, and politicians will do in late December 2019. In fact, this challenging Jupiterian transit turns up within the horoscope of the 3 South Solar Eclipse which perfects on December 26, 2019 @4Capricorn06 (the eclipse also opposes US natal Jupiter and our Venus for that matter). The eclipse chart is linked, below, with 3 South's themes of: 'traumatic transformation through news received or short journeys' and 'sudden endings of relationships and/or alliances' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). Can Trump's machinations be far behind?

Of course, this is only one planetary transit affecting current events into year 2020 but it is, I'll wager, a significant one especially for the US economy, the budget, deficits, shortfalls, and for other areas that concern our nation--including for the massive Jupiterian who tweets from the White House.

Yet as you know, money is only as valuable as people believe it is.

Related Posts include: December Eclipse ends 2019 with Jupiter and Pluto issues in which Donald Trump, with his natal Neptune @5Libra squaring US natal Jupiter, makes his typically disturbing appearance and the Jupiter-Neptune pair of energies show off their usual speculation, risk-taking, grand schemes, and bubbly inflation capabilities; Donald Trump: In the Realms of Jupiter; and Saturn-Pluto 2020 Conjunct The Fed's Uranus 22Cap47 which thus forms a karmic midpoint picture of potentials for:

Saturn-Pluto = Uranus: "sudden changes or upsets in plans which have been made concerning very important activities; reforms in the way punishment is given for important crimes; the erratic or uneven use of retaliatory measures" (Munkasey). Reinhold Ebertin adds a potential for: "sudden acts of violence." Hopefully this planetary picture of potentials won't amount to much but time will tell. Which is what I tell myself until I consider with fretfulness what Noel Tyl adds to this picture of disturbing possibilities: "an attack, regardless of potential losses" and "brutal efforts to start a new order."

So in closing, below is the three-fer DC Horoscope of the Conjunctions of Jupiter-Pluto (plutocrats, wheeler-dealers, large project developers, independent contractors, the Fed) which perfect three times in 2020: April 5, June 30, and November 12 - all falling within the degree range of 22--25 Capricorn as you can see:

Cold War Horoscope 1945 meets Saturn-Pluto 2020

Cold War-Yalta Astro-Notes: 1945 and Beyond

by Jude Cowell

It's probably not good news that one of the planets in a historical horoscope soon to be 'hit' by the harsh January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 is Mars in the February 4, 1945 Cold War Horoscope of the postwar Yalta Conference between FDR, Churchill, and Stalin which suggests potentials for 'brutality, violence, ruthlessness, and the necessity to fight for one's existence' (Ebertin). Additionally, the January 12, 2020 conjunction of compressed energies manifests upon the Cold War's 19 South Prenatal Eclipse ('PE' of January 14, 1945 @23Cap41 = 'lucky breaks'--Brady) and it conjuncts Trump's natal Vertex ('VX' @22Cap51), all of which are penned on the right side of the chart; Roosevelt's birth data is listed, upper right; and a Vertex is a point of 'fated encounters' and/or 'changing work conditions':

Also listed on the chart underneath FDR's natal data is a depressing cosmic occurrence--Yalta's Saturn Rx @4Can36 conjoins FDR's natal Moon, and Yalta's Moon conjoins FDR's natal Saturn--a double whammy, we could say. So obviously, the conference was held during an emotional low point in Roosevelt's life, plus, Moon-Saturn contacts often have health connotations. We can see this in Yalta photos and the dark circles around his eyes.

Then sadly, as you know, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt died of a brain hemorrhage about 2 months after the Yalta Conference ended, his "willful ignorance" about Stalin and communism no longer influencing him. Yet due to recent events and Trump's turns against traditional US alliances, one may wonder if in 2019 and beyond the tendency toward such 'ignorance' continues to influence certain denizens of Washington DC who thereby work against the better interests of our nation.

Recommended: Roosevelt's Failure at Yalta from the Hoover Institute circa 2004 which touches uncomfortably upon the current day relationship between the US and Russia via Donald Trump's transactional, subservient union with Vladimir Putin. Alternatively, here's a different view, Why Roosevelt was right about Stalin - that we could do business with him because at heart Stalin was a businessman. So was FDR naive about the Russian leader of his day? Does Donald Trump behave like a Kremlin asset? The horoscope, above, has some indication of threatened violence and of course many folk (such as yours truly) suspect that Putin controls Trump bwo blackmail and/or threatened violence--and perhaps Stalin controlled Roosevelt in a similar fashion. If so, are current events and those of the Roosevelt administration and the Stalin regime more alike than we know?

Well, for more info on 1945 events, try a Politico article by Andrew Glass Roosevelt departs from Yalta, February 11, 1945 which details some of the aftermath of the Yalta Conference such as FDR's assurance to Congress that, "I come from the Crimea with a firm belief that we have made a start on the road to a world of peace." But it soon became clear that Stalin would not honor his promise of free elections for Poland. Naive? Willful ignorance? Complicity under duress?

So I surmise that the upcoming planetary pile-up upon the 23 Capricorn degree indicates a cosmic time link involving events of 1945 and today, with the same nations participating. And on the horoscope you see (mid-center, top) a notation replete with on-topic cosmic synchronicity: 23 Capricorn = Governmental authority, according to fabled astrologer Nicholas Devore.

So as 'they' always like to say, timing is everything which suggests to me that whatever upcoming shift "this is," it has been in the planning stages for a very long time meant to coincide with the beginning of a new order timed by Saturn conjunct Pluto, then at Winter Solstice 2020, Jupiter conjunct Saturn upon US Inaugural Sun (the Office of the President), and with three conjunctions of the wealthy plutocrat duo Jupiter and Pluto sandwiched in between.

Oct 25, 2019

America, Saturn-Neptune, Eclipses, and Donald Trump

In a January 2019 SO'W post concerning the December Solar Eclipse that ends 2019 with Jupiter and Pluto issues, multiple mentions were made including the Saturn-Neptune pair of energies, Donald Trump, and Republican operative Bill Barr who was just coming into the DOJ picture with his senate confirmation hearing occurring as I typed. (And note that Jupiter-Pluto is the 'wheeler dealer' and plutocrat duo.)

Now one reason mention was made of Saturn-Neptune in the post is that their midpoint rises in Trump's natal chart as it does in the December 26, 2019 Eclipse's DC Horoscope (chart shown in the above post) with vibes of depression and limitation of freedom (Ebertin). Another reason to keep our collective eye on the Saturn-Neptune duo (the "illness axis," Reinhold Ebertin calls it--conjunct Trump's natal Ascendant, his nibs himself born into an 'oppressive family environment') during these harrowing days is that it relates to such realms as the social welfare programs constantly under attack by the Republican Party (most of whose members I tend to think of as misfits of the human race). Apparently the party's past "compassionate conservative" slogan no longer applies if indeed it ever did.

So below is a hodge podge of dates and associations for the Saturn-Neptune pair so famously representing hidden or secret (Neptune) government or control (Saturn)--and of course imaginary + real, lie vs fact, and idealism vs materialism also apply, plus the -isms such as Communism, Bolshevikism, Marxism, Capitalism, Socialism, Nationalism, Patriotism, Nativism, Zionism, conservatism, 'Trumpism'--labels invented by hidden manipulators to divide, conquer, exploit, and weaken populations who might think to rise up against the 'ruling class'. Fact is, We have the numbers, they have the desperation to hold on to power and control.

Now as you know the Saturn-Neptune cycle lasts approximately 36 years and their last conjunction was actually a three-fer due to retrogradation yet all during 1989: 1. March 3, 1989 @11Cap55; 2. June 24, 1989 @11Cap14; and 3. November 13, 1989 @10Cap22. See Events of 1989, an extremely busy year, domestically and abroad. The next Saturn-Neptune conjunction occurs only once on February 20, 2026 @00Ari45, the Aries Point where global events tend to manifest. Note that this conjunction in 2026 will conjoin the IC of the natal chart of America that I tend to use most often (July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA).

Obviously, we are now mired within the third period (3 x 12 years = 36) which began on November 13, 1989 @10Cap22, a degree stimulated by the July 2, 2019 Solar Eclipse @10Can37 in the 3 North Saros Series--between America's Jupiter and Sun; this is the eclipse series we're in as I type.

Now here are Saturn-Neptune's Hegelian potentials within the realms of Politics and Business, some of which may sound appropriate for our times:

Thesis: Delusions among the real leadership; long lived programs which have no real purpose; policies which restrict spies; misusing law officers; inefficient use of capable expert advice; mistaken religious leaders.

Antithesis: Leaders deceive about the exercise of control; deficient business practices exposed; respected persons involved in questionable practices; reliable equipment failures; a leader capitulates. (Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets, Michael Munkasey.)

Looking ahead: the first eclipse of 2020 is a Lunar Eclipse. Here's a view of its DC Horoscope.

US Congress: Broken When We Need It to Get Busy

Has the US Congress disintegrated right before our eyes, now broken beyond repair? The sabotage of the US government has been in force for decades and infiltrators are having their merry way. Politico's When Impeachment Meets a Broken Congress lays out the case rather well (especially if readers scroll down a few paragraphs).

And astrologers are likely to be familiar with recent and current planetary transits to the US Congress First Session Horoscope and those affecting Inauguration 2017 planets, plus, a long-term transit of Pluto square natal Neptune with potentials for: 'psychological issues that need professional attention, social upheaval, corrupt political institutions, feeling vulnerable, obsessions, compulsions, hallucinations, a need for spiritual regeneration'. And since Congress is intended to represent We The People, this heavy plutonian influence applies to the entire population.

See the US Congress First Session Horoscope of March 4, 1789 for more transit details.

Now as you can see from the March 4, 1789 chart, the Midheaven (26Capricorn) of the US Congress (MC = Goals, Aspirations, Public Standing) is currently in turmoil from the approaching Saturn-Pluto pair of compressed, unyielding energies, and the same for US Inauguration Horoscope/s (January 20, 2017, 2013, etc, at noon Capitol Building Washington DC).

Karmic Saturn and Pluto are working together as they move closer and their energies peak @23Cap46 on January 12, 2020 (conjunct Trump' natal Vertex of fated encounters--an encounter with dictatorship apparently although personally I'm hoping for downfall). The Saturn-Pluto pairing denotes potentials for: turmoil in rigid or older structures, upsets in existing checks and balances, secret preparations for future restrictions, use of secret police or military agencies, blocked sewage systems, and/or lengthy consideration of methods of removal or destruction (Munkasey). But whether Trump stays on top or not, the ongoing sabotage, mostly by Republicans, is in process of achieving its objective of collapsing America and 'drowning her in a bath tub' as Grover Norquist promised. After all, everyone knows that no empire lasts forever--including the vengeful Vladimir Putin.

So as noted, plans to deconstruct the US government have been simmering for decades--actually from the start--and many see the 2022 US Pluto Return/s as a major signpost on the way to...whatever conditions and events from the Revolutionary years will rhyme if not repeat by 2022.

And naturally, the saboteurs are banking on modern generations of Americans having little if any of the spunk and determination our forefathers possessed during the Revolutionary era so that fighting to rescue our Republic when time catches up with need will be a weak and wimpy affair, easily vanquished, our combatants soft and otherwise engaged with their phones and viral videos. For as you know stealth has been one of our opponents' handiest aids (as always with sabotage) along with infiltration, lies, fraud, cheating, political 'spin', propaganda, wedge issues, and the entertainment industry. Bribery and intimidation work well for them, too, with their mobster/global crime syndicate selves focused on dismantling democratic societies. That the US will no longer act as global leader seems evident to me and is one of the saboteurs' goals.

Plus, you'll remember that in December 2008, during the Bush-Cheney Financial Crash, America symbolically reached as far as she/we can go (or should go) in the world via our nation's Progressed Full Moon in Virgo. Now, despite the massive amount of rigging it's taken to hide the fact that our nation has reached its pinnacle, we're nearly 11 years beyond that point and the karmic imperatives are coming in fast. Are our crumbling institutional structures too weak to withstand the sabotaging forces of the global crime syndicate? For that's what the Washington establishment fights when it battles against Donald Trump although some politicians may be 'fighting' and resisting while secretly supporting the fascist cause he leads (or is the face of--an orange figurehead!).

Now as you know, even before America's Pluto Return/s in 2022 we must navigate several Solar and Lunar Eclipses of note, plus, two titanic planetary conjunctions occur after Saturn-Pluto in January 2020--Jupiter-Pluto begin their cycle anew with the duo's financial implications on April 5, June 30, November 12, 2020 between 22 and 25 Capricorn (tri-wheel charts shown). And the Jupiter-Saturn (the societal pair) conjunct and end 2020 with a bang @00AQ29 conjunct US Inaugural Sun (POTUS) and marking the beginning of a 20-year cycle. When Jupiter and Saturn combine forces there are more checks and balances issues and significant changes in governmental, religious, and social orders with a judicial system at breaking point (Munkasey)--and this must include the lawmakers of Congress.

So now I must regress because during all the years of writing Stars Over Washington (since 2005) I have encouraged readers to contact Congress with 'call often call angry' concerning their issues but now I strongly suspect that calls and emails to Congress offering our support and firm 'don't allow the institution to dissolve' messages would serve both the higher and lower purposes of We The People much better. Don't you?

Horoscopes: SCOTUS and Minerva 1789 and 1790

Head of Minerva Elihu Vedder [Public domain]

On September 24, 1789, George Washington signed the Judiciary Act in order to set up the US Supreme Court, aka, SCOTUS. The Court's first session was held in New York City on February 1, 1790 with John Jay presiding as Chief Justice, plus, associate justices John Rutledge, William Cushing, John Blair, Robert Harrison, and James Wilson (6 in total). SCOTUS was established as the ultimate arbiter of the laws of the United States particularly those dealing with constitutionality and we find the institution of the Supreme Court ensconced and empowered within Article 3 of the US Constitution.

Below is a dual-chart image of both September 24, 1789 (lower left) and SCOTUS' first-session February 1, 1790 (upper right). Highlighted in green on both horoscopes are heavy-weights Saturn 'the judge' and Pluto 'the power behind the throne' (possibly the Pope!). Both timings are speculative--1789 is set for noon LMT and 1790 is set for 9:00 am LMT; both are located in New York City (as they should be based on historical events) and a few asteroids and midpoints are sprinkled around the charts.

Astrological Minerva Provides Big Answers and Solves Problems

Significant is that in the 1789 chart, asteroid Minerva conjoins Pluto Rx @17AQ07 (with planet Pluto undiscovered until 1930 and, in both charts, out-of-bounds of the earthly plane). Therefore, Pluto, planet of psychology and hidden control (among other things) operates unconsciously, if at all, upon people and events of the era but certainly in a behind-the-scenes or invisible capacity. Perhaps Pluto's relationship as the higher octave planet of astrological Mars sneaks into play and in the 1789 chart, Mars @24Can32 not only leads a Locomotive shape of planets denoting a high-powered executive determined on success (George W., I think), but Mars also conjoins US natal Mercury Rx (July 4, 1776) which denotes a time when ideas become reality, thinking is energized and enthusiastic, and activities are vigorously undertaken. However, challenges may be encountered and impatience and/or disagreements may temporarily interfere with carefully planned endeavors, plus, political activities and opinions are indicated by Mercury-Mars contacts.

Clues to Minerva's influence in September 1789 are shown by Pluto's sign and condition. In Aquarius, Pluto signifies a strong communal sense, a wealth of plans, and an urge to reform; life advancement comes with the help of other people (Ebertin). Since the timing of both charts is speculative let's leave out Pluto's 2nd-house position and emphasize Pluto's condition as shown by aspects from other planets to Pluto: a sextile from the Sag Moon was within orb for the afternoon suggesting an ability to 'unclutter' issues; Sun sesqui-square Pluto is a complex aspect which implies a square-within-square relationship identifying leadership ambitious for power and a strong will imposed upon others; Mercury trine Pluto suggests an ability to get at the root of issues and good powers of concentration; Jupiter opposite Pluto provides ambition, an urge to acquire wealth and power, a tendency toward dogmatism, and an autocratic attitude that feels it must reform the morality and standards of others. All rise!

Of course, the Neptune-Pluto trine, active during both years and beyond, is generational and identifies a period when mysticism, the occult, clairvoyance, and strong intuition featured for those in tune with such energies but considering our topic, let's say that the trine relates to reformers who work for improved societal conditions and gain the power and social positions to do so. You know--like Supreme Court justices do.

Then in the 1790 chart, Minerva conjoins lawmaker and judge Saturn in Pisces, a modest, reserved placement for the taskmaster planet whose hard, concentrated work in seclusion is somber, serious, and may never receive much if any recognition. (This applies to law clerks as well). A struggle with opponents is also indicated by Saturn in Pisces (Ebertin) and the planet's rising position with Minerva is significant if 9:00 am happens to be the hour, or near the hour, that the first court session opened. Obviously, answers and solutions within the biggest picture were on the institution's Saturnian agenda that day and this remains the case.

Now let's take a look at Saturn's condition in the 1790 chart via planetary aspects: with the Moon square Saturn aspect within orb, we find austere attitudes and support for the above 'somber work in seclusion' indication; Venus sesqui-square Saturn denotes stiff formalities and ceremonial events (probably done with Masonic flair behind closed doors--many of the Founders and their contemporaries were a bunch of goddess worshipers, you know--see goddess Columbia's statue atop the Capitol Building, for one example!); Mars trine Saturn provides ambition, an authoritative mindset, capabilities for shouldering heavy responsibilities, taking purposeful actions, working hard and long, and acting shrewdly when it comes to politics.

Finally, a Saturn-North Node trine suggests careful, conservative justices who followed the moral, social, and business codes of their day--and the trine favors conservative politicians and our first justices who studied the issues before them without favor and delivered well-considered, fair decisions.

Well, congratulations to both readers of this post who managed to get this far as I'm certain few will! In closing I'll add that we might wish to say that knowledgeable Minerva on her path from September 1789 to February 1790 may be said to have "translated light" in a symbolic sense and carried her rays from Pluto to Saturn, and to me this says that the Supreme Court of Saturnian justices was intended to act as a beacon of Minerva's brilliance on behalf of The People of the United States of America. That SCOTUS is now corrupted by two illegitimate justices and the lax morality of the current White House administration marks yet another tragic turn in America's destiny and sullies all SCOTUS decisions forward unless and until Supreme Court integrity is reestablished.

DC Horoscope: The Very First Eclipse of 2020

Looking Ahead with The Past in Mind: a 2nd Look at the January 10, 2020 Eclipse

by Jude Cowell

On January 10, 2020 will manifest a penumbral lunar eclipse, aka, an appulse eclipse (light not fully dimmed); for more info see Keith's Lunar Eclipse Page. Yet as some readers know, my focus with solar and lunar eclipses and their effects on history and society is on their degrees--their symbolism, conjunctions, oppositions, and other prominent factors related to their particular place of manifestation in the Zodiac. Sensitive degrees are created when eclipses occur upon them and can remain 'sore' for years as is the case with sensitive critical degrees (Mansions of the Moon are not covered here!) which may suggest possibilities for crisis conditions and/or events--at the least, disruption--usually externally with solar eclipses and internally with lunar ones.

Therefore, it's notable that the January 10, 2020 Lunar Eclipse, although not Total, is at the critical degree of 20Cancer00, plus, this is the first eclipse of 2020 so its cosmic 'wild card' energies are imprinted upon the entire year. What 'cosmic blinks' are in store? What shenanigans are perpetrated in the dark? What can Castor reveal? Related may be the fact that a 12 South Solar Eclipse occurred conjunct Castor on July 11, 2010. Will a discovery or two concerning 2010 issues and events turn up during 2020? Consider 12 South themes: 'a long-term worrisome or draining issue at first seems worse then suddenly clears with successful outcomes' (Brady). Okay!

As for the January 2020 Lunar Eclipse, the Cancer-Capricorn axis is ruled by Moon and Saturn which relates to security and domestic concerns, plus, has ambition, strategy, status, and direction interests. Set for Washington DC, the horoscope of the January 10, 2020 Lunar Eclipse @20Can00 reveals a variety of reactions to the previous Solar Eclipse of December 26, 2019 @4Cap07 (see eclipse list linked, below) with its 'traumatic transformation' theme. And obviously, a 'new start' is heralded by a New Year on January 1, 2020 so what may we expect for Year 2020 besides the major changes of direction timed by the January 12, 2020 Conjunction of karmic planets Saturn and Pluto (@22Cap46)? For as you know, eclipses also tend to disrupt earthly affairs and bring changes of direction although no one can say with complete confidence exactly what's ahead (other than Campaign 2020 and the usual political antics and overblown promises). However, new social, financial, and political orders are suggested and point toward another Great Conjunction in the 20-year cycle of 'societal planets' Jupiter and Saturn begins again on December 21, 2020 @00AQ29--at Winter Solstice, and conjuncts the US POTUS Sun degree.

So let's have a glance at the 'cosmic blink' eclipse horoscope that 'opens' 2020, below, for eclipses are always Uranian in nature--erratic, sudden, sometimes shocking, or perhaps merely full of surprises. Adding extra information, as noted, we have the lunar eclipse activating one of the Gemini Twins, Castor, a star containing possibilities for 'sudden fame or loss, mental illness, murder', and/or 'the crippling of limbs' (A. Louis). Yet Castor is also a writers' star and suggests much creativity in its positive manifestations. Eclipses 'work through' fixed stars and strengthen or empower their potentials - and vice versa.

A previous post also concerned the January 2020 Lunar Eclipse.

DC Horoscope: January 10, 2020 Lunar Eclipse @20Cancer00 Conjunct Castor:

Hour of Mercury (time for change) but Mercury is out-of-bounds of the earthly plane ('OOBs') but here we see the little fella posited in 8th house with Jupiter, South Node, Sun, Saturn, Pluto, and asteroid Ceres ('democracy' restricted or over-powered by Saturn-Pluto authoritarianism; plus, potential interruption of food supplies). The 2/8 axis (Taurus-Scorpio) is emphasized (Money, Shared Resources, the National Treasury--what's left of it--Insurance, Debt, Corporatism, Transformation, the Occult, Death, etc). And the Jupiter-SN conjunction suggests clashes and conflicts of interest between social and ethical aims vs current trends and traditions, issues of bad timing, difficulties or delays in or concerning foreign lands, and genuine morality that could suffer from false religious dogma...as it has before. In addition, Mercury's OOBs condition can relate to messages from an unknown source and/or to someone who is out-of-touch, here with 8th house matters and issues. Perhaps he's wandering off from a microphone or podium, forgetful of where he is and losing the thread!

Now we should also consider that the January lunar eclipse is the cosmic 'bookend' of the December 26, 2019 Solar Eclipse @4Cap07 in the 3 South Saros Series with themes of traumatic transformation and relationship endings (Brady) so its themes are yet another suggestion of major changes afoot. Plus, the Cancer eclipse hints that the public reacts to the Capricorn eclipse of 2019 and its effects in emotional and/or patriotic or nationalistic ways; Trump's insistence on protectionism comes to mind. Personally, I react with, 'America going it alone is a weakened America' while the sabotage and undermining of our nation as led by Trump continues.

As you see, communicating Mercury, planet of young people and ruler of the chart (ASC 13Gem53 with Trump's chaos-creating natal Uranus first to rise), conjoins the Sun @20Capricorn, the sign of government, law and business, so Mercury is also at critical degree. This conjunction on a political level suggests a leader (Sun) fond of his own ideas (Mercury) who doesn't listen (Mercury) to others (Full Moon = the public, and/or women). Sound like anyone you know, and perhaps like the continuing lawsuits, investigations, and scandals now in the news which are certain to continue into and through 2020? As you know, fantasist Trump's natal Mercury-Neptune square blocks both his hearing and his understanding!

Then on a behavioral level, there's quirky Uranus unaspected in money sign Taurus which emphasizes the planet's isolation and detachment qualities while hinting at spurt-like bursts of energy. Without sufficient channels through which to discharge the intense energy of Uranus which aspects would provide, nervous electrical tension can build up and increase restlessness and feelings of discontent. Uranian flashes of genius can still occur but there's less impetus to change rigid behavior patterns--implicated in this case are Taurean traits of possessiveness, selfishness, greed, and intolerance. And since on a behavioral level I often ascribe planet Uranus as a representative for Donald Trump (it's his guiding planet), I suspect this horoscope with Uranus in 12th house of Karma and Politics shows that he's feeling 'unique and unmatched' in the political arena (Tierney). However, to me Trump is more of an embarrassing sticks-out-like-a sore-thumb figure with his natal Uranus in duplicitous Gemini. And although Uranus is unaspected, it is apex planet in a midpoint picture:

Venus-North-Node = Uranus: unsettling news; disrupted meetings or contacts; polite (?) indifference to ideas (Munkasey); a quick liason; unusual friends or encounters (Ebertin). Note that Munkasey gives the Venus-North-Node pairing potentials for 'poor management or bungling of wealth' and/or 'society shapes collective destiny'. And who's our top bungler?!?

The final factor I'll mention in this my second look at the January 2020 Lunar Eclipse chart is transit Jupiter @8Cap55 opposing Trump's natal 11th house Mercury (8Can55) suggesting potentials for his grand ideas, plans, and schemes to be rejected outright and/or blocked by others, while lots of talk and no action continues as the order of the day (except for the sneaky things he and the GOP are up to while Trump distracts with his nonsense--consciously or unbeknownst in his role as the 'useful idiot'). Misjudgments on his part will affect financial and other matters (still), and more of his words and rhetoric will meet with criticism. Unimpressive may be the word, plus, Trump's lack of popularity comes to mind--and the January 2020 Lunar Eclipse will certainly uncover new facts that lead to more criticism, a lack of legal success, and a previously unknown critical or crisis situation, condition, secret or scandal--at least, it will probably uncover a tidbit or two not revealed by the 'Christmas Solar Eclipse' as 2019 concerns carry over into 2020.

And now for the daring here's a List of Solar and Lunar Eclipses July 2019 through 2022.

Historical Horoscope of The Confederate Constitution

"With Malice Toward None"?

by Jude Cowell

Below is a horoscope of the constitutional document that white supremacists prefer. However, this particular Southerner prefers the US Constitution we have, or I should say, are now clinging to.

As it happened, its writing is based on the US Constitution but with a huge, brutal and tragic nod to the continued slavery of African Americans. The Constitution of the Confederate States was adopted in Montgomery, Alabama on March 11, 1861, ratified on March 29, 1861, and became effective on February 22, 1862 as a radical reaction to the November 1860 election of Abraham Lincoln (see Uranus-NN = Mercury and Neptune, lower right). Seven secessionist states were the original signers: South Carolina, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Texas, and Louisiana; and other states joined the secessionist movement later. As you see, my home state of Georgia, 'the 13th Colony', is on the list of states soon fighting for their slavery-based economic system and convinced that the white race is superior (which I personally consider to be an anti-Biblical mindset since we are All children of our Creator).

A Speculative Hour for the Adoption Horoscope Must Be Found: enter New Moon

In order to set up the Confederate Constitution's adoption chart, the following horoscope is timed by the New Moon of March 11, 1861 @20Pis59 which perfected at 7:51:55 am LMT in the hidden 12th house of Politics and Karma along with a Mercury-Neptune conjunction in secretive Pisces. Naturally, a New Moon represents a new cycle of activity when seeds are planted and ideas are brought forth for future implementation into reality. The Mercury-Neptune duo provides potentials for faulty judgments, bending the truth, and the tendency to withdraw from a painful reality (ex: Lincoln elected). Planets in the 12th house suggest that hidden activities were carried on in private behind locked doors as such planning must always be in order to keep disruptive challenges and the sheriff away.

And note that America continues to suffer under the deceptive, indiscriminate, mis-perceiving, fantasizing Mercury-Neptune square of the white supremacist lurking in the White House and that a horoscope of the first shot of the Civil War reveals the Mercury-Neptune midpoint rising on the 1st shot Ascendant which gives us a revealing picture of Mercury-Neptune = ASC: 'the state of being exploited, deceived, or harmed by others' (Ebertin). Tyl adds: 'potential overreaction to others'. I'd say waging war is a definite overreaction and that massive harm was perpetrated upon our nation by the 'Civil' War and its backers. For details on the exploitation, see the excerpt below the chart.

Note: The Avalon Project has the text of The Constitution of the Confederate States: March 11, 1861.

Obviously, the 1st house conjunction of forceful, warring, violent, weapon-loving Mars-Pluto is first to rise in this speculative New Moon horoscope, soon followed by erratic Uranus in process of performing a US Uranus Return to its 1776 position of 8Gem55 (9Gemini's negative expression: 'querulous overconfidence and quixotic notions'--sound like Trump? Perhaps because '9Gemini' is his Prenatal Solar Eclipse degree!).

And with the document's North Node of future direction and destiny in governmental Capricorn, a related post partially describes current conditions which peak on January 12, 2020 and flavor the entire year with its harsh imprint of karmic energies which we're already feeling in 2019: DC Horoscope of the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction 2020.

Also in the 1861 chart, above, note the dynamic T-Square between Venus-Saturn and rebellious Uranus = 'sudden separation' (Ebertin). Noel Tyl adds: 'split-off affairs' and/or 'boredom with the past'. Descriptive, I would say! As is a midpoint picture involving the radical reformers pair of Uranus-North-Node for it conjuncts Mercury and Neptune thus creating potentials for: 'impetuousness, meeting with people off the beaten path' (Tyl); 'quick comprehension, criticizing others, fast-traveling news, people who are easily impressed, being deceived', and/or 'the undermining of an association' (ex: undermining a Union).

To read more chart details, please enlarge the chart's image.

Now here's an excerpt from a previous SO'W post (with its link added below) concerning intentions of 19th-century Southerners (and slave-owning Northerners) and the machinations of wealthy warmongers who shamelessly funded and manipulated North and South into killing their own brothers and cousins--for social meddlers and anti-civilization secret societies, then as now, the destruction of families was and is a welcomed side effect:

According to Nicholas Hagger's research (The Secret History of the West), the Priory of Sion wanted America back from the Templars so the Rothschilds planned an American civil war with the North a Sionist British colony, annexed to Canada and controlled by Lionel Rothschild, and the Templar South to be given to Napoleon III of France and controlled by James Rothschild.

To persuade the South to secede from the union, Illuminized Sionist-Rosicrucian Freemasons used the Knights of the Golden Circle (one member: John Wilkes Booth) which had been formed in 1854 by George Bickley with the objective of spreading racial tension; its military arm was the Ku Klux Klan. Meanwhile, Jesse James stole gold from banks and buried it to fund the war (nearly $7 billion!)

The states that seceded would be united in the Confederate States of America with each eventually becoming like an independent country. Abraham Lincoln (inaugurated March 4, 1861) told the American people that, "combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary machinery of peacetime government had assumed control of various southern states."

Link to full post; contains Civil War midpoint pictures including Mercury-Neptune = ASC.

So for illumination concerning the plan that under-girds today's machinations and 'craziness' you may dare consider Civil War general Albert Pike's letter to Mazzini (founder of the Sicilian mafia), what we may call "An Unsealed Letter" as per the Sabian Symbol for '30 Leo' which is the rounded-up degree and symbol for the natal Ascendant of Donald Trump. The symbol's keyword is "CONFIDENCE"; its positive expression: "exceptional skill in winning and holding the respect of everybody" - a big oops for an unpopular Trump; negative expression: "a genius for indiscreetness" (Jones). Now that sounds like the very stable genius now in process of sabotaging the United States of America. Can we agree?

Saturn-Pluto 2020 conjunct The Fed's Uranus 22Cap47

1913 US newspaper clipping [Public domain]

Those were the days! Or at least that's what I've heard--days when arch manipulators could squeak the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 through Congress as its members were antsy to scoot out the door for Christmas break and avoid being blamed--after New York bankers and other co-conspirators (such as J. P. Morgan) had taken a midnight train to Georgia in November 1910 incognito for a secret meeting meant to solve the effects of the Banking Panic of 1907 by forming a so-called "Federal Reserve" Bank of America which to this day is neither federal nor a reserve.

In order to keep their activities under wraps and thus unchallenged, NY reporters and the public were 'given the slip' at the train station, then fake names were used by the attendees once they reached Jekyll Island under the guise of 'duck hunters'. One imagines that if the name of one participant, German investment banker Paul Warburg, had gotten out it would have been extremely inconvenient.

Then there's the tiny fact that the 1907 'panic' was a manipulation by at least some of the very culprits who crept to Georgia that dark night determined to 'solve' the financial crisis they had helped create (so very Hegelian!) Even when the wealthy class loses, it wins, right?

Here are some details on the affair including The Aldrich Plan named after Senator Aldrich, a plan they and others heavily propagandized once back in New York in order to sway the American people toward favoring a new version of a central banking system. Eustace Mullins famously wrote all about it in his book, Secrets of the Federal Reserve (now on Kindle!). And yes, I've fussed about all this before on SO'W so why again?

Because the dreaded January 12, 2020 Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto @22Cap46 will perfect directly upon the Federal Reserve's Jupiter (Dec 23, 1913) which widely opposes its Neptune Rx @27Can31 (opposing US natal Pluto Rx: erosion of power) and, as you see in the bi-wheel below, Saturn-Pluto will conjunct disruptive Uranus in The Fed's New Moon chart of December 1, 1910 which occurred @8Sag49 during the secret meeting on Jekyll Island, Georgia--the Dark of the Moon when things go bump in the night and apparently entire value systems can be transformed:

So as if the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction 2020 isn't enough by itself to fret over, if we factor in the Federal Reserve and our banking system (and Wall Street, as I suppose we must) via 1910 Uranus and 1913 Jupiter and Neptune, we find cosmic evidence of various potentials such as:

Loss and fear of loss, difficult decisions, social and religious fanaticism, sudden violence, erratic use of retaliatory measures (Trump's tariffs that miss the mark and tank the global economy? a purposeful sabotage?), sudden upsets in important plans, an attack in spite of potential losses, disguised uses of power, defects in planning, and brutal efforts to start a new order. The last would, of course, relate to the New Order of 1776 and the Bretton Woods Agreement being blown up as some feel they're in danger of being through Trump's erratic Uranian machinations and his inability to play nice with others. Plus, as noted in previous posts, the 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction hits the natal Vertex of Donald Trump (22Cap51), a point of fated encounters and changing work conditions so we know that whatever happens in the coming months, the wide caboose of his nibs is smack dab in the middle of it. Come to think of it, his meddling caboose could use a hearty smack.

Yet is there a silver lining to this tale of loss and woe?

For in Astrology as in Life, there is always a positive side to every pessimistic view, troubling transit, or difficult event and here we can mention other more beneficial potentials within the 2020 Saturn-Pluto = 1910 Uranus = 1913 Jupiter/Neptune equation:

"Favorable outcomes in the use of large expenditures, resources, or energies", and/or, "people who have leadership and power to dispense" (Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets, Munkasey; other potentials from Ebertin and Tyl).

Could such leading people turn out to be political candidates who will be victorious on November 3, 2020, assume power, and take on the Herculean task of cleaning up the massive messes that Trump has made? For after all, a dreary economic picture won't aid Trump to win re-election in 2020 so it will take a bunch of cheating and election fraud to accomplish that.

Moon-Tracking the G7 Summit August 24--26, 2019

August 22, 2019: From August 24 to August 26, 2019, the 45th annual G7 Summit will be held in Biarritz, France and hosted by France's Emmanuel Macron.

As The Hill reports, Trump and UK's Boris Johnson to meet on sidelines of G-7 Summit for breakfast Sunday morning. Problem child Trump is also said to be meeting with other leaders while there assuming he doesn't wander off in a daze or insult his way out the door before this year's summit sans Russia ends. Besides playing G7 host this year, France's Emmanuel Macron may be the one to take the reins of global leadership at least until America's former top spot is permanently filled--or perhaps until a new competent US president with a less-addled brain and beliefs in government and civilization takes over the Oval Office on January 20, 2021. We can dream, right?

G7 Summit 2019's Cosmic Weather: Sun Virgo-Moon Gemini then Cancer

Looking at a horoscope set for Biarritz, France August 24, 2019 (8:00 am CEDT) we find Mercury-ruled Virgo rising with a full 12th house of Behind-the-Scenes activities including Politics and Secret Deals. Regulus is spotlighted by the Sun 00Vir48 suggesting that the caution of royal Regulus is present: success if revenge is avoided; otherwise all that has been gained will be taken away. Sun also conjoins asteroid Juno which is associated with politics and with nation-states (which may contain a nationalist flavor if negatively utilized). Also in the 12th house group are Venus and Mars both at 4 Virgo and rounded up for a Sabian Symbol we find, "A Colored Child Playing with White Children." Now I don't pretend to know if this picture refers to a particular attendee or attendees but I do know it's the degree and symbol of Trump's Secondary Progressed ('SP') New Moon which perfects on September 16, 2019.

So the summit opens with Sun Virgo-Moon Gemini, a rational, productive Earth-Air combo of energies suggesting those who are reasonable, refined, shrewd, logical, and lovers of words. Plus, some may be pranksters with great mental dexterity and a flair for communication. This blend is shared by John Buchan, aka, Lord Tweedsmuir, who has famously informed us that, "An atheist is a man who has no invisible means of support." So what do we know of Lord Tweedsmuir? For one thing, he authored *The Thirty-Nine Steps! Do you suppose there any atheists at G7 2019? No surprise, if so. And certainly counterespionage, spying, or similar themes may be present especially since sabotaging America seems to be an ongoing activity these days for meddlers both foreign and domestic.

Now let's also consider what chart-ruler Mercury, planet of meetings, summits, reports, negotiations, and planning, is up to on August 24--an inconjunct with powerful Pluto. This hints that adjustments are needed obviously and someone is obsessed with their thoughts and plans--thoughts that may be outmoded and/or dogmatic. Under this aspect, communications tend to be oppressive and intimidating toward others and intellectual insecurity can cause problems in communications of the persuasive variety. A compulsive talker or two demands to be heard and propaganda must be broadly spread to the group. Pluto's extreme wealth and underworld connections add heaviness, even a creepiness, to the uncompromising atmosphere of August 24 as the G7 Summit proceeds.

But as the Cosmos would have it, during the proceedings Luna leaves Gemini on August 25 at 11:05 pm and floats into her own sign of Cancer which shifts the atmosphere of the summit to a more pragmatic, creative Earth-Water blend of Sun Virgo-Moon Cancer. This shift could be significant particularly since 00Cancer00 is a Cardinal World Point of Manifestation, plus, the heavy-weight duo of Saturn and Pluto sit atop the Midheaven (The Goal Point; Aspirations) at that exact minute (11:05 pm) in that location with a line-up most folks would wish to avoid: Pluto Rx at critical degree (20Cap), Midheaven, South-Node (the Saturnian, separative 'tail of the dragon'), and Saturn Rx. Triple karma! Is there something here about dealing with the effects of these harsh, limiting, constraining energies rearing their heads as they do periodically--or, is it about using them to restrict and oppress others? We must be on guard!

Yet in addition, with Sun Virgo-Moon Cancer a more domestic vibe may be felt along with intuition and a tendency toward self-reflection. Quick wit and charisma are in evidence, plus, practicality via Virgo and a deep concern for others via Cancer although a streak of suspicion may turn up at some point. This is a sociable blend of energies with which to end the summit (martini in hand?) and it is also found in the natal chart of outlaw Jesse James (who stole to fund the secret Golden Circle of white supremacists of his day) and, more positively, is the natal blend of author, muckraker, and Pulitzer Prize winner Upton Sinclair so let's close with one of Sinclair's more famous quotes--a question really,

"Is it altogether a Utopian dream, that once in history, a ruling class might be willing to make the great surrender, and permit social change to come about without hatred, turmoil, and waste of human life?"

Tragically in 2019, the answer must be that when trouble-maker/muckraker Donald Trump is involved, hatred, turmoil, and waste of life are always on his menu--somewhere between the big bucket of fried chicken and the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake you've ever seen.

Boris Johnson's Horoscope: Brexit and Britain in 2019 and 2020

With a view from abroad here's a featured post by Britain's James Lynn Page:

Below is Boris Johnson’s horoscope, as we look at what kind of Brexit we’ll be getting. Left-leaning journalists have been beside themselves lately over the prospect of Johnson as P.M. of the United Kingdom. I have discussed the new Prime Minister 'elsewhere', but in this article I look at what kind of Brexit Boris Johnson will preside over (and the indications from his birth chart). The main questions right now are: will we leave without a deal on October 31st? And, more generally: just how easy will he find it as PM? “Dude, we’re going to energise the country!,” he proclaimed on his victory. Some commentators are not so sure, like the Guardian’s Andrew Rawnsley who wrote, 'Boris John's braggadocio will soon come back to haunt him at Number 10':

‘The schoolboy who wanted to be “world king” has spent many years lusting after the job, but that is entirely different to doing it … Whitehall is preparing for the Johnson premiership by adopting the brace position. Is this because he is infamously cavalier about detail, bored by complexity, known to react peevishly and sometimes with a ferocious temper when frustrated or contradicted, and has a notoriously casual relationship with the truth?’

At first I did a double take at this quote – Rawnsley could just as easily have been talking about Donald Trump. The astrological parallels with Trump are significant, too, and I don’t just mean the fact that both leaders are populist, outspoken sun Geminians. I have written elsewhere on this site that Trump’s continued weathering of political storms in Washington is down to progressed Jupiter on his ascendant. Jupiter has a supportive, protective quality that often ensures one’s luck holds good – whilst its astrological influence is operative, of course. Later we will find this Jupiter aspect significant on Boris Johnson’s horoscope, too.

First, let’s look at the astrological context for why we have, along with the USA, shifted to the right of the political spectrum. The transit of Pluto through Capricorn has ended up with the UK in a political and constitutional crisis. Pluto is the Great Destroyer, it is Death and Rebirth for entities that have outlived their purpose; Capricorn (in mundane astrology) is the Establishment, the System, the powers that be. No wonder that in the UK we’re going through what one commentator described as a ‘political nervous breakdown’.

In short, politicians have lost the trust of the electorate, as naked capitalism is allowed to run rampant, what with private (profit-based) companies overseeing the distribution of benefits, public education spending cut whilst private education fees are increased, and where even homelessness can be considered a crime. This is why we’re in the age of the demagogue, the populist who fills the vacuum when we’ve lost faith in mainstream political parties. But we’re a divided country because of it.

Saturn will also make an exact conjunction with Pluto in January 2020. We’re likely to see a further hardening and increase in authoritarian control as the powers that be lash out. (What the US astrologer and philosopher Richard Tarnas discreetly called ‘conservative empowerment’.) The cold unforgiving hand of Authority is already with us, take the example of the recent shameful arrest of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. If, in the UK, it seems we’ve reached crisis point in our daily politics, you haven’t seen nothing yet; I believe the authoritarianism we’re seeing will increase in 2020.

To get a flavour of what happens worldwide when Saturn makes a hard angle to Pluto, consider these two events from recent world history. Often there is some some kind of power grab by politically motivated opportunists, such as on September 11th 1973, when an exact Saturn-Pluto square manifested in the coup d’etat in Chile, and the murderous dictator Augusto Pinochet began his reign of terror. Or ten years later, in August 1983 during a Saturn-Pluto conjunction, when Manuela Noriega rose to power. He was ‘one of the Central Intelligence Agency’s most valued intelligence sources, as well as one of the primary conduits for illicit weapons, military equipment and cash destined for U.S.-backed counter-insurgency forces throughout Latin America.’ (Wikipedia)

During any creeping shift to the right, well meaning liberals continue to warn us that true democracy is a precious thing and we should not let authoritarian leaders undermine it. In the case Boris Johnson, Guardian journalists have already noted how he has actually hardened his stance on Brexit, asking if he could close down shut down (prorogue) Parliament to stop it legislating against No Deal:

‘The legal default position is that if there is no deal, and the UK has not asked to revoke article 50 or been granted a further extension, then we leave on 31 October with no deal. But MPs of all parties have already flexed their muscles to prevent the prorogation of parliament to get no deal. Earlier this month they passed an amendment to a Northern Ireland bill by a majority of 41 to make prorogation more difficult; 315 MPs backed it and 274 were opposed. The anti-Brexit campaigner Gina Miller is also planning legal action to prevent prorogation.’

Boris Johnson’s Horoscope

Let’s get an idea of the man himself – above is Boris Johnson’s horoscope, and with the sun (conjunct Venus) in Gemini and Libra rising, he has that charismatic, easy-going appeal to the public, that plain-speaking, ‘blokey’ sense of humour. In short, the Libran ascendant provides charm, and Gemini the light touch. Of course, it isn’t quite as simple as this: he also has vociferous Mars in Gemini, providing fuel for his outspoken, attention-seeking quips. Johnson’s fan club like him for this perceived directness and honesty; his detractors point out that such quips are often racist, like describing Muslim women wearing a full veil as “letterboxes”.

But these situations stem from deeper, more serious elements. For one, on Boris Johnson’s horoscope we see Mercury square Pluto. Not only are there strong opinions to voice, but a range of entrenched, stubborn ideas. “You’re not going to change him,” commented one senior Tory aide. Then there is Mars square Saturn, which can mean difficulty expressing anger: Mars-Saturn bottles up reserves of aggressive ego, whether its reacting to annoying regulations, annoying people, or just the slow pace of everyday, mortal life. One wonders how much he’s suppressed over the years and how much he’ll want to get his own back on those who stood in his way. His moon is in subtle, tight lipped, opportunistic, manipulative Scorpio, after all. Here is someone motivated by the need for power. Not only that, he has the passion and determination to see his plans through to the bitter end. Now he’s Leader he’ll want to show just who is in charge.

Johnson’s much mentioned ‘buffoonish’ image is simply a part of a grand strategy: to appear funny, likeable and most of all ‘ordinary’. Who can resist someone that makes them laugh? But even the verbal gaffes are mostly deliberate – there’s little suggestion from the birth chart that he’s unaware of what he’s saying, or is unconscious of the offence he causes. His appearance on the BBC’s Have I Got News For You panel show was gold dust for this carefully contrived ‘clownish’ image. But Johnson is no fool – he knows that the accident prone, bumbling, tongue-tied, public schoolboy is a smokescreen, whilst he slowly and surely gets closer to fulfilling his ambitions and manoeuvres himself into a position of power. Job done!

An anecdote from BBC presenter Jeremy Vine reminds us that much of this buffoonery is carefully stage managed. Vine was set to do an interview as Johnson arrived, reaching for a pen to hastily scribble something on a piece of paper. So Vine was treated to the likeable, ill-organised class clown on that occasion – hair askew, falling over his own feet and then his own words. But about a year after, as Vine recalled, it was during another interview that Johnson went through the exact same repertoire, using the exact same lines: ‘as if had been scripted’.

Brexit – the Astrological Outlook

The UK Chart

Let’s have a look at the predictive material: first the national charts and then for Boris personally. First, the progressions to the United Kingdom chart (set for 1801 January 1st) on Oct 31, 2019 provide the background scenery for British politics. Here, there’s a heavy concentration of planets in the 4th house which, on a mundane chart, is about our heritage, our ‘patriotism’, our collective identity as a country, or at least a version of it. Mercury, Sun, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn are all present here – an emphasis on roots, the past and tradition. This suggests the scene is set for strong nationalistic fervour at this time in our history, one where the familiar, knee-jerk stereotypes of ‘what it means to be British’ (or English) are invoked.

The Brexit Chart

The chart set for the exit poll on referendum day (10.00 pm, June 23rd, 2016) can be progressed to show the Midheaven (‘career’/public image) within one degree of a conjunction with Mars (in late 2018 and early 2019) This right away suggests the ongoing rifts, short fuses and in-fighting surrounding all aspects of Brexit. In brief – divisiveness. With obstructive Saturn in the 11th house we might well expect that lack of resolution/agreement in Parliament, too. (This house on a mundane chart is the ‘Parliament’ of a country’s birth chart, in the case of the UK, not merely the government but the entire House of Commons.)

Also, transits to the Brexit chart show Neptune opposite natal Jupiter (exactly to the minute) on October 29th, 2019, only two days before the supposed time we exit the EU. On a birth chart this opposition means impractical, over-idealistic and ballooning expectations. Any type of concrete limitation or systemic problem is the enemy. This represents the Brexit voters’ attitude to the EU – the material reality is inconvenient. Stop standing in our way!

The Article 50 Chart

This is set for 13.20 p.m. March 29th, 2017 in Brussels, when the EU’s Article 50 for leaving the union was activated. This brings into play the European Union and is a chart about the negotiations – as such, it is somewhat different. Though Venus is on the M.C., a Mercury/moon/Uranus conjunction is prominent in the 10th (rules and authorities). This stellium is one of instability: ‘emotional’ and erratic behaviour, wilfulness and sudden whim hold sway. If both sides take this approach you can guess at the result! The urge for self-interest and trying to get one’s own way (and the determination to do this) is shown by the Pluto square to Uranus. The only conciliatory factor is Venus on the M.C. – we did at least get an extension when Theresa May was in power, and there was talk of an even longer one if required. But it’s a chart which bodes ill for harmonious negotiations and talks.

So far we have a combination of aggressive ‘I want’ and a strongly idealistic, nationalistic attitude that just may be self-deluding. But how is Johnson likely to cope? The Guardian’s Andrew Rawnsley wrote that:

‘the best educated guess about where he will get to in the autumn [of 2019] is this. There will be no better deal with the EU and parliament will prevent him from leaving without one. There would then be three avenues forward. One: he could seek another extension to the deadline for withdrawal. This would be a humiliating betrayal of his solemn pledge to his party that Britain is leaving “come what may” on Halloween … Two: he could seek to resolve the deadlock by calling a fresh referendum [or Three] he could call an election.’

The Solar return chart for Boris Johnson’s horoscope – from 20 June 2019 – has Saturn/Pluto conjunct in the 1st house. This forms an opposition to Mars and Mercury in the 7th (relationships), suggesting he’s assumed the office of Prime Minister with enemies already waiting in the wings. It’s indicative of major disagreement, but will ‘they’ be powerful enough to stop a no-deal Brexit? (The Saturn-Pluto conjunction also is widely conjunct the moon, suggesting Johnson has some emotional commitment to all of this.) It certainly suggests little in the way of compromise – and as we have seen lately, the signs are already there. Johnson will be moving heaven and earth to get Britain out of the EU by Halloween – we’re going to see more of his true Moon in Scorpio colours!

When we look at Oct 31, 2019, the progressed M.C. (‘career’) on Boris Johnson’s horoscope is exactly conjunct to natal Uranus. This is another indication of the potential tension and challenge we’ve already seen – it signifies a kind of angry revolt against stuffy authority, for this is how Johnson will see (and does see) the EU’s officials and negotiators. He’s cast himself in the role of the freedom fighter; they are the intransigent oppressors. But when it comes to enemies, ‘they’ may also be Parliament, another bunch of potential oppressors who seek to prevent a no deal Brexit. So, he has plenty of conflict to look forward to. The question is: will he get his own way?

Remember Trump’s fortunate placing of progressed Jupiter on his ascendant? Boris has this same protective phenomenon on his progressed chart for 2019, as Jupiter is in close conjunction to the descendant, and whose astrological meaning is not so different from a conjunction with the rising degree. This suggests there are powerful friends looking out for him, that he’s well placed to receive support and assistance from important sources. One of those will be Trump himself, but I think that without progressed Jupiter in close conjunction to the descendant, Johnson would be sunk by Parliament or would lose in a General Election in September. However, look at how many people wrote off Trump’s chances of even being the Republican candidate in 2016, let alone winning the election. And now look.

Don’t make the same mistake with Boris Johnson. I’ll deal with whether or not all of this leads to a General Election in another look at Boris Johnson’s horoscope, but remember, he may well be in No 10 for quite a while. Remainers, brace yourself! Like Trump, he has lucky Jupiter protecting him for now. The astrological picture for the next few months show he may weather the storm, beat his opponents and come good in any conflict. And conflict there will be! Just wait until it all kicks off in early 2020.
