Trump Mercury Return 2023: Continual Indiscretion

As you see, for this post I've had to resort to a hand-drawn horoscope but after this evening, fresh ink cartridges are scheduled to arrive at my door and we can proceed as usual. Please enlarge or print the image to read my astro-notes penned on if need be. Notes include the rounded-up Sabian Symbol for the fellow's natal Mercury "9 Cancer": "A Tiny Nude Miss Reaching in the Water for a Fish" (Jones). Now yes, there is a low-charactered interpretation of this word picture for this particular Mars in Leo bounder, but I'll leave it for you, dear reader, to consider its implications, if you care to. But let's add Jones' negative expression for "9 Cancer": "continual indiscretion."

An additional note: Herr Trump's next Mars Return occurs on July 4, 2023, which times a new cycle of activity for the orange blighter. More on this is planned for a later post. And view his natal horoscope if you must.

Now it's also significant is that every year or so when transit Mercury returns to its natal degree in Trump's chart, it repeats the Mercury-square-Neptune that he was born under with its lack of discrimination, misperceptions, lack of objectivity, and the lies and fantasies he can't stop spouting and hiding behind. The man cannot or will not follow instructions (even those laid down by judges--at his peril!), misunderstandings and disbelief occur, wrong conclusions are drawn, he questions facts with instincts that differ from reality, selective hearing or tone-deafness, and leaks and scandals occur. For him such confusing, deceptive conditions are operative all the time, of course, but his yearly Mercury Return spotlights them in some way or another - and he's off to the races, spinning tales for the gullible, passing around gossip, promoting $chemes, and mouthing insults.

Of course, mundane Mercury (the trickster and communicator) can also act as a trader, or perhaps more of a traitor in this case - certainly a documents thief. So for a few interesting details concerning propagandist Trump's Mercury in Cancer check out a previous post which provides enlightenment via Carelli's Degrees.

And so with agent orange's 2023 Return Mercury in Return 6th house of Health, Work, Service, and Daily Rounds -- and Return Sun (vitality) posited in 6th h, too -- these are the areas of interest and engagement for him over the next year along with his natal 2nd and 11th house concerns which include finances and group endeavors. Plus, we can expect that a medical check-up is on his calendar, as it should be at his advanced age.

Then when we look to the Return Ascendant with 12th house Pluto rising at a critical 29th degree along with the Hera archetype (the legal wife; keeping accounts), we find legal eagle Saturn rising and Rx in 1st house, an inauspicious determinant for his Mercurial year since Saturn rules the return chart and its retrograde condition hints at Trump's usual delay tactic in legal matters. However, there are potentials for a variety of negative outcomes due to karmic Saturn hitting his natal Moon-MC and Neptune-Pluto midpoints such as: 'pessimism; collapse' or breakdown, 'separation; bereavement', and "untenable objectives" (R. Ebertin). Now I'm not wishing, just reading a horoscope here. Disagree and read the chart as you wish!

Then naturally with speedy little Mercury, travel is usually prominent as well via short trips, but for Trump, a journey across the ocean (Mercury in watery Cancer) is possible. After all, he retains possession of his passport, if memory serves.

2023: Two Return Aspects to Trump's Mercury

Then with Return Jupiter (@9Tau17 in Return 3rd house) sextile his Mercury, business opportunities may appear here or abroad, and his (tiresome) publishing efforts could expand. Meanwhile Saturn (@7Pis03 Rx and rising, as noted) suggests legal or other stabilizing help from an established network or system, and commerce is favored. Plus, as previously discussed, Saturn in Pisces suggests "struggling with opponents" (R. Ebertin) so Campaign 2024 is involved with orator Mercury's conditions and indications from now until his next Mercury Return on June 21, 2024 with Return Mars @9Taurus in place of this chart's Jupiter. Obviously, his 2024 Mercury Return will directly affect Election 2024 next November, assuming that Trump is active in election matters next year.

Meanwhile, you'll notice in the chart, above, that at Midheaven ('MC'), the WHY?-Career-Public-Status Point is Cupido Rx which indicates the continued involvement of organizations such as, The Network, The Family (his family, and/or the power-mad 'religious' group), The Mafia, The Criminal Syndicate/s, and/or simply anti-democratic Corporatism.

And speaking of planetary returns, a prominent return for us all has to be the 28-to-30-year Saturn Return for even a controlling person like ole man Trump cannot continue to ignore dealing with the demands of authoritative Saturn forever, with issues and lessons such as the accountability which he now faces because legal eagle planet Saturn has finally caught up with him.

Congress' Saturn Return 2024 and Election 2024

US Congress' 3-fer Saturn Return of Accountability

This post is a reminder that in the pivotal year of 2024, the US Congress (first session March 4, 1789) will receive a three-fer Saturn Return to the legislative branch's 1789 position of Saturn @13Pis38:11. The dates are: 1. April 1, 2024; 2. October 12, 2024; 3. December 18, 2024. The rounded-up Sabian Symbol degree (14 Pisces) is "A Lady in Fox Fur," which we've seen before via gaslighting Neptune in the 1854 Republican Party Horoscope. The negative side of the foxy word picture is "immoral opportunism." Now as you see, Election 2024 occurs between the second and third Saturn Returns with election results which may or may not be determined by or before December 18th. Of course, Saturnian authenticity is involved as well, or it should be! And I don't refer to the old 'politicians kissing babies' ploy.

Then of course, karmic Saturn's persistent demand for accountability is already in motion in 2023 and will naturally continue to be a major part of Campaign 2024 as the November 2024 Elections near, with authoritative lawmaker Saturn also known as the 'legal eagle' planet. Along with the presidency, congressional races are squarely in Saturn's 2024 spotlight of scrutiny, we might say, as timed by Congress' Saturn Return occurring during an election year.

Note that triple returns of planets tend to occur when lessons have yet to be learned and applied correctly with Saturn, or, with a planet like Mercury, ideas, plans, and/or reforms require a period during which they can be accepted and utilized (using the denial-acceptance-resolution model of retrogradation). If they will be, that is. After all, some people never learn, and I'm guessing that we both know someone like that.

Government, Law, Responsibility, Accountability

Significantly for the US Congress, all 435 seats in the House and 34 of 100 seats in the Senate will be up for grabs along with the Presidential and Vice Presidential offices in the 2024 Elections. Taking on the responsibilities of office and accepting commitments as presented are always on the menu during all elections whether candidates recognize this or not--and for America, Election 2024 will determine our country's future of democracy or barbarism, and will either hold up our tradition of Rule of Law, or not.

Note that these past Republican antics of non-governing occurred under the US Congress's Saturn Return of March 1, 1993, and future bouts of government shutdowns cannot not be ruled out with debt ceiling refusal again part of the GOP's bag of tricks.

We the People: Neglected Saturnian Demands

When the Republicans "masterminded" their anti-responsibility 1995 and 1996 government shutdowns for a total of 26 days, Bill Clinton was president and radical reformer Newt Gingrich (who shares the Sun Gem-Moon Sag personality blend as the orange albatross) was leading the Contract With America scam, or, 'Contract On America', as it's unfondly known around here. Unfondly known because Republican policies and reforms tend to be pro-corporate-and-wealthy classes and anti the rest of us. So for this particular Child of the Revolution at this time in history, "economic royalists," no matter their political party, belong elsewhere than in a democratic Republic.

Note that the Republicans' 1995-1996 antics of non-governing occurred under the US Congress's Saturn Return of February 22, 1995, and that future bouts of government shutdowns cannot not be ruled out with debt ceiling refusal again part of the GOP's bag of tricks. Of course, no one needs Astrology to tell them of this power-grabbing threat with Saturn one of the planets of control (as you know, Pluto is the other planet of manipulation and control, but with a more distant influence such as a puppetmaster, blackmailer, or thug enforcer).

Then There's Another Saturn Return Affecting the US

More recently came a third of three Saturn Returns, this time for the US Constitution with #3 on January 10, 2023; also shown in the post is the freedom document's previous Saturn Return of March 1, 1993, the year of the three Great Conjunctions of Uranus and Neptune, the planetary pair of what today's Republicans scoff at as wokeness but back in the day, they were planets of The Enlightenment, aka, The Age of Reason with Uranus signifying Reason and Science (and thus, critical thinking and logic), and Neptune representing Faith, Mysticism, and Superstition.

So when the two generational planets with their 171-year cycle joined together in 1993 at or about the 18th degree of Saturn-ruled Capricorn (a degree of POLITICAL POWER and "smug or strong-armed paternalism"--Jones), the centuries-old debate between reality vs fantasy was geared up for the ideological battle now being waged by maga seditionist types.

Then for political purposes, energies of the 1993 Conjunction were catapulted into higher gear in 2017 when transit Pluto reached the Uranus-Neptune conjunction and a midpoint picture formed of Uranus-Neptune = tr Pluto: 'The big picture commands a certain course of action which must be followed; very little option to do otherwise' (Solar Arcs, N. Tyl #ad). And you know who 2017 Pluto symbolizes, of course, with his deadly 12th house midpoint picture of natal Pluto = Mars-Saturn conjunct the 'death axis'. And this barbaric animalism is what zealous authoritarian soldiers are aiming for now as they act on behalf of a Christo-Fascist empire while under the zombie-like influence of mass delusion promoted by a certain cult leader convincing them that they act for a purged and improved America. Willing self-deception abounds, and his vision of "American carn*ge" arrived with Pluto 2017. Because violence is part of 'the big picture' for the "leaders" who have the stomach for it.

Meanwhile, my belief in our era of history is that the centuries-old battle of "Enlightenment" knowledge and awareness vs darkness and ignorance is what Republicans such as Florida's Ron DeSantis are working to reignite as a regressive style of codified religion tries to take over the US government, and critical thinking and Science are considered to be erroneous. Book banning is a good example of their anti-societal efforts, while the ongoing Republican attack against Science, scientists, and education continues to cause turmoil and disruption in society, medically (ex: repeal of Roe v Wade), and otherwise.

Okay, here's the end of my final fuss for the week of June 19, 2023. But fret not for I entertain no expectation that this post will be shared, for I doubt that any reader ever does. But at least--perhaps--my sincere hope is that you're planning to Vote Blue in 2024! If so, my work is done, and I Thank You for reading this post.

Jim Jordan and the Eclipse of the House Judiciary Committee

Rep. Jim Jordan's Saturn Return 2023 Activates the Committee's 13 South Eclipse

The House Judiciary Committee was formed on June 6, 1813, therefore, the Solar Eclipse Saros Series in which the Judiciary Committee began is the 13 South of February 1, 1813 @12AQ11:27. You'll find 13 South themes listed, below.

Then as you know, the current head of the House Judiciary Committee is Republican Rep. Jim Jordan whose natal horoscope and analysis of his political leanings may be found at LeftWingAstrology written by millennial astrologer Kevin Estes. Spoiler Alert: back in 2017, Kevin pegged Jim Jordan as a right-wing authoritarian. After all, "maga" wasn't a term in use yet. Kevin helpfully displays Jordan's natal horoscope (Regiomantanus system) set for Troy, Ohio at 8:45 am (with Mercury rising) but don't ask me where the data issues from for Kevin doesn't say and I do not know, having only a 'noon' horoscope in my files for the 'maga' fellow from Ohio. And the noon chart is the one I've used to reveal Jordan's Saturn Return of February 1, 2023.

So as it turns out, there's a cosmic time link afoot involving the 13 South Solar Eclipse mentioned, above, of the Judiciary Committee, along with the Saturn Return 2023 of Jim Jordan. As you know, astrological Saturn, planet of karma, represents authority, responsibility, accountability, authenticity, management, and a potential for loss if one doesn't adhere to the demands of Saturn, the task master and lesson bringer.

Above is a hand-drawn bi-wheel of the two events (because an ink snafu has occurred, mah bad) intended to demonstrate that the Sun @12AQ06 in Jordan's Saturn Return of February 1, 2023 (marked outer in blue) spotlights or activates the 13 South Eclipse with its difficult themes of:

'Striving for group endeavors (positively or negatively); sinister energy underneath; expansion is wanted but frustration, loss, separation are involved; a potential for a constitutional crisis' (paraphrasing B. Brady).

My point is that the 1813--2023 Eclipse-Saturn cosmic time link suggests that Rep. Jordan is tasked with the Saturnian responsibility of fulfilling the directives of 13 South Eclipse themes of the House Judiciary Committee as its mission was established in 1813. Significant is that, as the Committee was formed, a beneficial Jupiter-Uranus trine identifies a period of keen judgement, applying wisdom through intuition, and a commitment to truth; but if we progress the 13 South Eclipse chart of February 1813 to February 2023, the fortunate trine becomes a disgruntled Jupiter-Uranus square which suggests extreme dogmatism (A. Oken). Considering the maga zealots, radicals, and anarchists undermining the House these days, this sounds spot-on to me.

Now also penned in blue is Mr. Jordan's natal Nodal Axis with his North Node ('NN') of destiny @10Can01 in the 7th house of the 13 South Eclipse chart which places his Saturnian South Node @10Cap01 near the Eclipse's Venus-Saturn Conjunction with the duo's sense of duty connotation which was influential in 1813.

Then for further information, having a look at the various Sabian Symbols for the planets would be useful for those who are curious concerning the slapdash 'job' that Mr. Jordan as Chair of the Committee is doing along with his comrades, the disruptive House magas - in what Rep. Nancy Pelosi has described as a "puppet show" with, as we know, the old Mango Mussolini pulling their strings by threatening them with being "primaried." Why, then they might lose their cushy positions!

Meanwhile, take a walk down a 2015 lane of Capitol Hill wastefulness with Jim Jordan as he accuses Hillary Clinton of lying about Bengazi, yet another lowering moment in congressional history which displays an example of Rep. Jordan's misuse of power and misdirection of energy, time, and money.

Destiny, Virgo Symbolism, and the "Hall of Records"

Since the current embroilment between a slapdash former president (2017-2021) and the National Archives (NARA) branch of government is proceeding into Summer 2023 and beyond, the following post concerns the creation of NARA tasked from its creation with keeping our records safe from harm. Therefore, I've rounded up a variety of information for your consideration, much of which is on the esoteric level of knowledge. My focus is the NARA building itself with its esoteric symbols carved in stone and featuring a Zodiac sign that's sprinkled all over the Federal City: Virgo.

Mercury-ruled and representing humanity's analytical, critical, categorizing, fact-based functions, The Virgin symbolism has appeared through the centuries under many names: Mary, Isis, Columbia, Lady Liberty, Ceres/Demeter, Ishtar, Inanna, and more. Often associated with concepts of protection, nurturance, and truth, the celestial Virgo archetype by any name easily lends her attributes to the protection of America's records. Designed by noted architect John Russell Pope who surrounded the edifice with the sacred number 72, the neo-classical NARA building underscores these concepts with a side helping of Heritage and Destiny.

Of note is a frieze on the North side of the NARA building with these words inscribed in ALL CAPs:

"This Building Holds The Records Of Our National Life And Symbolizes Our Faith In The Permanency Of Our National Institutions."

So here we find one of the reasons why Hmm-hmm-hmm stole classified and secret documents which belong in the National Archives, and which by law belong to the American people -- to further undermine We the People's faith in the permanency of our institutions.

In fact, the National Archives building "was saturated in the Virgoan impulse," asserts astrologer David Ovason, and we see this via two significant events listed in Ovason's The Secret Architecture Of Our Nation's Capital (#ad):

Ground-breaking and formal foundation laying: September 9, 1931 (in the morning) with Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Neptune in Virgo; and,

Cornerstone laid by President Herbert Hoover on February 20, 1933 with Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, and North Node in Virgo.

Now Herbert Hoover had been busy with the Depression so it was President Franklin D. Roosevelt who recognized the need for such an archive, a "Hall of Records," and had been active in the movement to persuade Congress for such a measure. Thankfully, FDR was successful - until the recent breach by a faithless, unprincipled man who played the presidential role as if it were reality TV, and who shall not be named in this post.

To close, there exists cosmic time links full of Virgoan (and Piscean) energies between then and now. One is the 19 North Eclipse which influenced Election 2016 and Inauguration 2017 through 19 North themes of 'realism; tackling the truth; coming down to earth" (B. Brady) which manifested @9Virgo. Gumming up the eclipse themes of realism and truth and bringing confusion and chaos ever since has been the fact that an opposition to the eclipse came from transit Neptune, planet of deception, fraud, theft, intrigue, and the tiresome gaslighting with which you-know-who and the Republican Party continue to undermine and sabotage We the People and the US government in every malicious way they can devise in an attempt to force our democratic Republic into an autocratic authoritarian dystopia.

Then when we look at the date of the NARA building's cornerstone laying, February 20, 1933, we find two more Solar Eclipses of influence: the 6 South of August 31, 1932 @8Virgo, and the 7 North of February 24, 1933 @6Pisces (because it occurred within two weeks of the event). And 7 North is the series in which this post is being typed at you today.

October 2023 Solar Eclipse sweeps from Oregon to Texas

Handily, the Great American Eclipse website has all the astronomical information you might want concerning the annular Solar Eclipse of October 14, 2023 with its path of annularity sweeping from Oregon beginning at 9:13 am pdt and ending in Texas at 12:03 pm cdt - near the US-Mexico border. Central and South America will then be visited as well. Follow the link for a visual of the 2023 Eclipse path crossing with the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse of April 8, 2024, which, as you know, is the third of three Great American Eclipses.

On the astrological and political sides, mentions of the October 14, 2023 Solar Eclipse in the 7 South Saros Series may be found for the curious. One way to find such topics is to scroll down a bit and type "7 South" into the SO'W sidebar Search field for a sampling of posts to select from.

Brady).

Now as you may or may not know, Mars-Pluto square energies are formidable and on a mundane (political) level suggest power struggles, jealousy, destructive anger, and the urge to take revenge. Well, we know who in the political realm this sounds like so his name shall not be mentioned in this post, not this time.

So in closing, mention should be made of the next manifestation of a 7 South Solar Eclipse for it is soon-coming and occurs @21Lib07:33 on October 14, 2023. It isn't a Total eclipse, only Annular so its potency will be somewhat muted, thankfully, since all 7 South eclipses carry the forcefulness of a Mars-Pluto square within them. However, the eclipse in October 2023 will fall between the planetary pair of strong political opinions, Mercury and Mars - and Jupiter @13Taurus during the eclipse conjuncts the North Node of destiny in the SR 2022 Horoscope...which suggests religious groups interfering in legal processes, and closed legal societies (M. Munkasey).

So perhaps we can agree that these potentials are already underway with America's tradition of separation of church and state underfire by bossy theocrats, ideologues, and mafia-esque criminal types determined to take total control of our country. Therefore, we must out-determine them and use the Mars-Pluto energies ourselves toward positive outcomes!

Eclipses: 'Wild Cards' of the Universe and Cosmic Blinks From Above

Well, there it is for your consideration, folks, two significant solar eclipses coming soon to a Cosmos near us all, and full of unpredictable possibilities for disruptive changes of course. We should add that the Mars-Pluto duo also relates to war and to people disabled in war (R. Ebertin) which suggests the US military and possible events involving the ongoing war in Ukraine, but hopefully to no other conflagrations.

A 7 South Eclipse Repeats October 14, 2023 @21Lib07

By now you've heard that yesterday the intrepid Rachel Maddow and her longtime producer Isaac-Davy Aronson debuted a new podcast Deja News which asks, "Has anything like this ever happened before?"

Deja News Episode 1: Riot at the Gates (Again)

Now if you've ever read many posts here on SO'W you know that Rachel's new podcast is right up the alley of my eclipse and 'cosmic time link' posts published here since historical cycles and eclipse cycles tend to resonate with similar, aka, rhyming, events and conditions.

Episode 1 opens with the fascist plot against FDR proposed to General Smedley Butler in 1933, and Deja News goes on to compare it with the coup attempt by sore loser Donald Trump and his maga acolytes and henchmen on January 6, 2021 when anarchists breached the US Capitol Building as a peaceful transfer of power was taking place in Congress. Rachel's opening point: that the J6 plotters had seen such a coup happen before - successfully against the Parliament in Paris, France, as a peaceful transfer of power was in progress on February 6, 1934.

And similar to the way we use "Jan6" as shorthand for Trump's failed coup, in France the assault by a violent mob in 1934 is shorthanded as "Feb6" and is 'honored' each year by authoritarians. Now by 1934, fascist dictator Mussolini had been in power for a few years and authoritarianism was on the rise in Europe where certain people promoted the idea that liberal democracy "had run its course." Sounds tres familiar, oui? For we have anti-democracy saboteurs at work in the US.

Okay, so here's the point in this post where I hush about historical events that Rachel Maddow's Deja News will inform you about much better than I can, so the question in this post becomes, Is there a cosmic time link that resonates between our time and the coup of 1934? Why, yes!

That would be the Solar Eclipse Saros Series in which the Croix de Feu (Crosses of Iron) coup occurred, the 7 South of August 21, 1933 @27Leo42 (shown, below). And yes, that's the degree of Trump's natal Mars rising with royal star Regulus ('success if revenge is avoided' - but he doesn't, so 'all that's been gained will be taken away' which is the effort now in progress). You'll note that the 7 South Eclipse affecting the Croix de Feu coup of 1934 conjuncts Regulus and manifested in August 1933:

Special Counsel Jack Smith, born June 5, 1969 Clay, New York (hour unknown) entered the Earthly flux under the auspices of a 7 North Solar Eclipse manifesting at 27Pis25:12 on March 17, 1969. Brady; I've previous added the word, blood to 'lust' since that's what Trump and his comrades are using to try to force their tyranny on us--and I have labeled the (current) April 20, 2023 manifestation of the eclipse as "Adolf's birthday eclipse" and mentioned that 7 North is the PE of both the Civil War and the Third Reich so easily the type of energies and events that can be involved when a 7 North eclipse rolls around are shown as cosmic time links through history.

Penned on the charts, above, are my study notes for the curious. Notably, a 7 North Eclipse is operative as I type, since manifesting on April 20, 2023 @29Ari50 - conjunct the J6 Mars (violence; criminal acts), but also conjunct the natal Venus of Jack Smith (29Ari39) which suggests fair play and cooperation: "No one is above the law," as he well knows. Material considerations are also part of the Venusian-Eclipse picture, plus, when a solar eclipse occurs in Pisces, issues are dealt with such as secrecy and karmic conditions with a potential for reaching the highest spiritual attainment. Besides the Pisces eclipse, there are other indications of prophetic intuition for Mr. Smith, whom I believe to be a double Air personality of sober intellectualism. In fact, the Harveys give his Sun Gemini-Moon Aquarius blend an Image for Integration of "Sherlock Holmes"!

As you know, years when an eclipse in a natal PE Series repeats are prominent, active years for the individual, so for Jack Smith, 2023 is it, and we saw him step into the spotlight a few days ago to speak on behalf of justice and the rule of law. Significantly, the 1969 eclipse Astraea conjuncts the Aries Point, which you see in the 7 North horoscope: there she is--Astraea, asteroid of justice, conjunct the Aries Point (!) of prominence and recognition. He is the man of the hour.

As for Mr. Smith's natal chart, Astraea is snugged between his steady, reliable Venus-Saturn conjunction. Notes on these factors (inspired by a sense of duty) are highlighted in blue.

Meanwhile, Jupiter, also concerned with justice, is highlighted in green and is part of a planetary trio with Pluto and Uranus conjunct South Node in both charts. This suggests inherited abilities, possibly from generations back, that involve power, authority, and perhaps wealth. The trio forms a midpoint picture, also penned below the natal chart with potentials for: "immense success; striving for social improvements" (R. Ebertin).

Then once the influences of the 7 North eclipse wane, coming in Autumn is the 7 South October 2023 Solar Eclipse in Libra, and it will 'eclipse' (conjunct) by degree the Secondary Progressed Moon ('SP') of Herr Trump, a cosmic event of potential crisis which may or may not turn out to be significant on the Earthly and political planes, but on behalf of the rule of law and the future of our democratic America, I sincerely hope that it will.

Yesterday, the federal indictment by a Florida grand jury of convicted sexual predator Donald Trump on 7 counts including violations of the Espionage Act, a post appeared here at 2:50 am edt, Trump Indicted: Sun and Mars tell a tale! which shows the two most prominent transits to his natal chart.

Today let's glance at two images: first, a bi-wheel of his Miami appearance in court on June 13, 2023 at 3:00 pm edt with Trump's natal chart surrounding it so that we can clearly see which of his natal planets rise at that hour, and that is his 2nd hou$e Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio of fraud and speculation with US 1776 Saturn smack in the midst!), and the unmarked Trump Arraignment Horoscope set for June 13, 2023 at 3:00 pm edt, Miami, Florida along with the 3:00 pm aspect grid.

A revealing midpoint picture forms with our national legal eagle planet Saturn, exalted in Libra at apex: Trump Jupiter-Neptune = US Saturn with potentials for: 'feeling abandoned by luck; consequences that issue from false hopes; plans which come to nothing; disappointment; losses' (R. Ebertin). You'll note that Trump's lawyers had been telling him that an indictment was unlikely which gave him false hopes, as it turned out, as US Saturn proceeds to hold him accountable:

As you see, the arraignment's chart-ruler Venus applies only to a conjunction with testy Mars (6A29) suggesting an increased urge for beneficial alliances; he may need more lawyers. Then with his bubbly Libran trio rising, we can expect a defense inflated with overblown arguments against what some have called a cut-and-dried case along with his usual Libran Jupiter whine of, "It's not fair!" Trump's Chiron (the wounded healer) @14Libra is feeling mighty but*-hurt so his tendency to play the role of the martyr will undoubtedly be utilized.

As yes, Trump will turn 77 years old on June 14, 2023, and his Solar Return occurs at 1:17:06 am ET with Pisces rising and the ongoing transit of Neptune square his natal Sun still within orb. That's whether we set his Solar Return 2023 chart for Mar-a-Lago, Bedminster, or Miami, and indicates the scrutiny, and eroding, of his leadership ability, honesty, integrity, and "principles" (to whatever extent anyone can believe he has any). The undermining influences of this transit have been ballooning at least since 2019.

In closing, a word or two about the Jupiter-Neptune duo whose current cycle began April 12, 2022 @23Pis59. Potentials for the pair include scandals, degradation in systems of justice, and/or foolish or unfounded legal situations (M. Munkasey). And as we know, litigious Trump is an expert in inspiring foolish legal situations. But this time, serious legal situations are catching up with the flighty Gemini.

On Thursday June 8, 2023, Donald Trump was indicted by a Florida grand jury and is facing 7 counts of espionage, conspiracy, lying, and more, stemming from Jack Smith's investigation of Trump's purloining, hiding, keeping, and lying about documents he nabbed during his time in the White House.

In a timestamped message he posted to his "Truth" Social venue on June 8th he responded to his indictment citing his usual grievances, denials, boasts, and deflections using one of pal Putin's favorite tactics, whataboutism. He labeled it the "Boxes Hoax."

Since it's Friday and going on 3:00 am here, I have very few astro-notes to add at this point but below is a horoscope of his timestamped messsage of denials (June 8th 7:21 am) surrounding Trump's natal chart for those who'd like a view. Now I've heard he's at his Bedminster golf resort for the summer so the horoscope is set there for 7:21 pm ET (as per timestamp); please note that currently there are multiple transits to his natal planets, Sun to Uranus and the fateful Mars to Pluto are only two of them:

As you see, I've penned on Sabian Symbols for 18 Gemini (Sun-to-Uranus: spotlight on his alien relationships, radical tendencies, lack of loyalty issues, aka, betrayal), and for 11 Leo and 12 Leo (Mars-to-Pluto: intense, purposeful activities, vengeful actions bring perilous results, a male leads the way as karma comes to call).

Now through all of the legal proceedings, my primary concern will be for the safety of America and for my fellow Americans. It seems obvious to me that the rejected orange albatross isn't done bringing We the People misery and now he'll have grudges on steroids to fuel his rising Mars in Leo opposing and targeting America's 1776 Moon in Aquarius.

DC Horoscopes: Trump Lawyers' Meeting at DOJ June 2023

Not much time to discuss the following two horoscopes, one set for June 5, 2023 at 9:50 am edt in DC, the speculative time that the 2-hour meeting began between Trump lawyers and DOJ lawyers, Trump's "please don't charge me" meeting. The other chart (upper right) is set for 11:50 am, the time that Trump lawyers were seen leaving the DOJ building after the approximately 2-hour meeting. Was a plea deal discussed? That seems to be the going suspicion since Jack Smith may be charging Trump this week, or very soon:

Now I agree with you, dear reader, there are way too many of my study notes squooshed upon the charts but one major factor worth a mention is the Venus-Pluto opposition (00Leo/00AQ) that squares Jupiter, North Node, and Midheaven ('MC'). Then as a planetary duo, Venus-Pluto may symbolize a variety of factors such as extreme wealth hidden away (aka, squirreled away), plus, underworld associations (exs: the mafia; the Syndicate; the Family), sex-drug-human trafficking, embezzlement, money laundering, and other criminal acts. "King of Debt" Trump's serial use of bankruptcy may also be part of the Venus-Pluto picture. And remember Trump's natal Moon's Sabian Symbol, "A Chinese Laundry."

Of course, with Venus-Pluto contacts there's often an urge to control conditions, events, and/or people in order to assure desired outcomes, but one assumes that agent orange has little chance of gaining such control these days - unless he tries to use the documents he purloined for bargaining his way out of the legal messes he's in, or at least mitigating his legal consequences somewhat. That's with US national security as his hostage, of course, although one must suspect that that particular horse has already left the barn for destinations unknown. (Stealing secrets for his handlers was part of his original mission, you know, and the top price gets 'em).

In closing, please note that at 11:50 am edt, a midpoint picture forms that suggests, "using dubious practices to increase power and reputation" (M. Munkasey), as he's done all this life. And as you know, Trump's desperation is shown in the above charts, and has been obvious for some time with his ALL CAPS shout-outs. Perhaps you'll look for more clues!

So is it finally time that the despised and dangerous arch criminal is held accountable by the US Justice Department? Will his natal Jupiter-Uranus trine of lucky breaks let him down at last? What do you think?
