George W. Bush--using same old tired rhetoric with no apparent recognition of the hypocrisy of his sentiments. Guess takes one to know one has seldom been so obviously shown to so many on behalf of so few.

Bush's catapultin' rolls on. Do you accept killing as a "viable" solution to the world's problems? I don't.

Is there a nation on the planet who longs for the same (sham) liberty the Bush-Cheney team has brought to Iraq?

Only their brother dictators could for their own self-serving reasons and for help in controlling their own unwashed masses...their dream? to be part of the world-domination league, the biggest crime syndicate the world has ever known.

The Roman Empire is considered a close second, I suppose, but greedy globalists are taking the world cake.

Now as a US citizen and Child of the Revolution with a dash of noble Cherokee blood, I love America for many reasons--rephrasing...I love the ideal of America which has been espoused since her inception about the time the Angel Gabriel is said to have given George Washington America's natal chart for July 4, 1776 (Sibly's imaginative version of how it happened--even though the signing of the D of I continued past July, some say.)

But it's tres difficult to be proud of my government these days assuming I ever could, so I may as well remind myself of the Sabian Symbol for our nation's natal Jupiter 5Can+:

Capitol Hill: Mar 29, 2007

Looking at sunrise this morning on Capitol Hill and at 9:30 am, it looks like as an interesting day as Kyle Sampson, former chief of staff to Alberto Gonzales, testifies on the prosecutor purge.

It's a fiery day with Sun 8Aries+ and Moon 21Leo+, Moon to 22Leo+ by 9:30 am.

This Sun-Moon blend has a few weaknesses such as a tendency to insist on childishly seeing things its own way, and going for the biggest and best before tidying up the debris from past projects. There's a leaning toward letting ego needs for affirmation and applause blind any true self perception.

The debris of this situation won't be tidied up in one day...not to mention the other issues under consideration on the Hill today.

Such is the case of Monica Goodling, a Justice Department official and Gonzales' senior counsel and White House liason, as she's about to testify bwo subpoena concerning the Bushie prosecutor purge. She was one of the varmints Paul McNulty said "misled" him before his own February testimony.

Do we look that stupid to them? Guess so. This is the political heat they warned themselves to be girded for.

Gonzales Aide to Invoke Fifth Amendent...still, I certainly wouldn't want her not to be able to protect herself from her own testimony, now would I? Especially since I might need the Fifth myself one day...

Novak: Bush is alone

No kiddin'!

If you read Robert Novak's column Bush is isolated from GOP lawmakers in the Chicago Sun Times, you may find Novak attempting to save what's left of his "party of better management" which has been revealed to be otherwise.

In this article you will learn that Alberto Gonzales is the "least popular Cabinet member on Capitol Hill" and that the "I-word (incompetence) is used by Republicans in describing the Bush administration generally."

Well, it took them a while to discover that their "commander-in-chief" wasn't so very good at governing...thing is, they don't seem eager to criticize the things he's done--undermining America, her Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Geneva Conventions, etc--just how he's done it all. Guess if he'd been "competent" he'd still be the cat's meow to the GOP.

Instead, he's alone and unable to "help" his GOP brethren who are not lining up in support of Gonzales as they did for Rumsfeld--and the Rs got snookered on that one when Bush cut Rummy loose, so who can blame them?


Current transits to Bush's natal chart:

Months ago I posted on Saturn's visit to Bush's natal Ascendant (his nibs himself) which occurred around Katrina Time--when we first heard Bush choke on the word accountability, one of serious Saturn's favorite words.

And here's my Oct 2006 mention of the Saturnian Scythe now bedeviling Bush, the lonely leader.

Now as you know, Saturn is still in Bush's first house and has recently conjuncted his n Pluto--the same transit I posted on concerning Al Gonzales--power and control issues--scroll down to read.

Also in first house is Bush's n Venus, and I remember posting around Katrina Time that this would be a time when Bush won't be "feelin' the love." Under Saturn-to-Venus, relationships become fraught with seriousness, including joint ventures, and more structure is imposed upon them.

Bush's Pretzel Parties may be stymied or curtailed altogether as a gloomy picture prevails under this transit.

We may also consider his n Venus/Pluto midpoint (Pluto 10Leo35; Venus 21Leo30) with Saturn hanging out between...

Ven/Pluto = Saturn: the sense of tragedy; immorality.

Seems to me Bush brought both to the world and in that he's been overly competent...an over-achiever in the tragedy realm.


Simultaneously today, tr Mars 21AQ52, and tr Neptune 21AQ07, are opposing n Pluto and Venus.

Ven/Pluto = Mars: a brutal and coarse expression of feeling; temperamental emotionalism (he must be awfully p-o'd these days, ya think?);

Ven/Plu = Neptune: immorality (again); possible instability in relationships.

Tr Neptune opposite Pluto is a generational influence unless and until one is personally involved in power/control structures, as he is, so:

Political and economic power are eroded by current society's thinking and ideals--one's power structures are threatened.

Tr Neptune opposite Venus: relationships suffer under very confusing, unclear influences now...deception, mistrust, and undermining conditions affect dealings and interactions with others. Promised cooperation is on shakey ground--false promises are prominent (watch out, Al G!)

Diplomatic gestures are self-serving or empty and are not likely to advance in any meaningful way. Social status and joint projects are subject to strange circumstances, misunderstandings, and loss.

The last reminds me of the Brit sailors in Iranian waters--some have related the situation to the Gulf of Tonkin Reso-illusion that finagled the US into Vietnam...history repeats?



Over at the National Press Club today, 1:00 pm edt, former GA congressman Bob Barr, David Keene (American Conservative Union), constitutional scholar Bruce Fein (served in Reagan adm as associate deputy atty general), and direct-mailing pioneer Richard Viguerrie are presenting their new American Freedom Agenda.

This so-called AFA is being billed as an effort to "restore civil liberties under assault by the executive branch."

As long as they're not following the Bush-Cheney-Rove model of naming things the opposite of what they do (I'm lookin' at You, "clean" water and "clear" skies) we can all be onboard, but it rtbs...remains to be seen whether or not this will amount to anything helpful to America for the proof is always in the pudding, and by their fruits you shall know them.

Perhaps it's a wonder America is still kickin' at all--extremists attacking her without while the GOP and their allies undermine her from within. Bad timing? Or a well-planned assault to cause the sheeple to go along with the proffered New American Union with Canada and Mexico?

Funny--I thought that's what America was and is--a "freedom agenda."

Having Bob Barr and Richard Viguerrie as America's champions to save the day? Priceless.

Gonzo: meet in November, fire in December

These charts are from 2006: Nov 27, day of Al Gonzales' meeting about firing the US attys general, and Dec 7, day of the firings. Dec 7--Pearl Harbor Day--such a drole sense of humor, haven't they?

Time of meeting unknown as of yet but after experimenting with sunrise charts and Mercury rising charts--Mercury having to do with meetings and communications--I decided that Pluto (planet of power, control, manipulation, and sabotage) rising might be interesting to take a peek at--and what do you know--AG's n NN (encounters; meetings; associations) is being transited by Pluto and so therefore rising with power-mad Pluto.

Hopefully you can click to enlarge, for I've put some notes around the charts and haven't time to type the same here. You'll see midpoint pictures, and some Sun/Moon blend info for both Nov 27 and Dec 7.

You'll also see that on Dec 7, tr Mars caught up to Nov 27 Jupiter = a fortunate course of action; clearing the air; making waves. They meet at the "Grand Army of the Republic campfire" degree which I have related to the Iraq war...plus, this is conj George Bush's n 5th cusp, house of Speculations and Risk-taking.

And Nov 27 has the midpoint of Pluto/Chiron (oppression; plutocracy, class warfare) conjunct the Sun/Moon midpoint--both at 15Cap41 as Pluto rises.

The Sun/Moon midpoint relates to the higher/lower nature or conscious/unconcious point in the chart...vitality + feeling. Seems they were 'full-steam-ahead' for their plutocratic plans supported by a small provision slipped into the Patriot Act to "give" them this kind of authority to expand their agenda.

The 11th cusp (groups; associations; friends; hopes/wishes) at 14 Scorpio is conjunct Gonzo's n Saturn, and on Nov 27, tr Mercury was conjunct his n Saturn...Mercury to Saturn = hard work; analysis.

And he said he had nothing to do with the decisions on who would be fired! Tsk tsk.

In both charts tr Saturn is conjunct AG's n Pluto, a time of power and control issues with the possibility of losing control in situations which are simply too large to handle. Yup.

This post is an experiment to see if my entry of Dec 4, 2006 will be accessible with this link since the "new" Blogger has seen fit to disappear my Archived Posts for December 2006--with the exception of two entries concerning Herr Mozart's 250th birthday.

Wonder what other months' posts are missing from your view?

If you, lone reader, user Blogger.com please let me know if you're having a similar problem of disappearance and brilliantly know how to solve this perplexing issue.

I found some code in the Help Group to add to my Template but it only added a second Archive List so that now there are two...yet both Lists are missing 'Dec 2006' (insert: headscratch.)

UPDATE 3 minutes later: the above link works. Perhaps I'll do a post asap with all December titles/links just to make them accessible. Sheesh. Oh--and I don't like these annoying 'labels' either. Puh.

Jeb Bush Feb 11, 1953

By now you've heard Jeb Bush was dissed by the University of Florida's Faculty Senate vote nixing an honorary degree for him. The 38-28 vote could not have gone down well with the Bush dynasty spawn but never fret because the Alumni Association has come through to save his tender feelings by passing a resolution today making him an honory alumni.

Who knew you could be an alumni without accomplishing the goal of attaining a degree even an honorary one?

Here you see Bush's natal chart with transits for 3.23.07 scribbled around the outside although I just realized the diss-vote was taken on Thursday, 3/22...but the main difference is the Moon in Taurus on Thursday--entering Bush's natal 9th house of Higher Education...appropriate, I'm sure you'll agree.

Natally, Jeb Bush was born into the Balsamic phase of the Moon--in its highest manifestation this makes him a prophet turned completely toward the future. He probably feels himself possessed by a social 'destiny' or that he's led by a superior power (Poppy?)

Bush may sense a character of finality in all his important relationships and sees them as ends of a process and as the means to help him reach his goals.

Balsamic types often take over projects when others cannot carry on--or when they arrive on the scene, someone is always leaving in some way.

This feeling of having a transcendent goal may lead to fanaticism and is shared natally by Robespierre, President Wm McKinley, and Thomas Paine (The Lunation Cycle, Dane Rudhyar.)

Recently tr Saturn has been messing with Bush's n Pluto which signifies a time of power/control issues where one may not get to be the one in charge.

Obviously this relates to the end of his tenure as FL governor esp since tr Saturn had been conjunct n South Node, a point of separation. And with his South Node (SN) in 11th house of Groups/Associations/Friends/Hopes-Wishes, there were endings of group associations as well, and possibly separations from friends.

The dissing of his educational record by the Faculty Senate vote is timely since he's just had a Mercury (thought processes; communications) Return and Mercury is weak in Pisces, sign of confusion, illusion and such. Very creative though, and his Sun trine Neptune--the closest applying aspect to n Sun and thus an integral part of his personality--indicates much creativity.

But the individual path of self-expression should be followed. However, this is all but impossible with n Sun opposite Pluto (power; manipulation) because:

Jeb was born into a family with a highly manipulative atmosphere at a time when his father was into 'Plutonic games' (I think he still is.) As an adult, Bush may insist on controlling everyone in his environment--and he learned this behaviour at Poppy's knee.

When such a child's Sun is in Fire or Air (Aquarius), he is overwhelmed by his father's influence for his mind becomes submerged in his father's "power trip." He may have no idea how to break free.

And Jeb's natal Ascendant has the Neptune/Pluto midpoint upon it--rising--indicating someone who is into the occult and/or mysticism--which is supported by the above-mentioned Sun/Neptune trine. A study of Astrology may have aided him in breaking free of his father's control--to the extent he may have wanted this.

Nep/Plu = ASC: surrounding oneself with a mytical air; being placed in a peculiar environment.

The Nep/Pluto pair are personalized in his natal chart due to their connection to n Sun (although the Pluto opposition is separating so it may operate more often on an unconscious level...added to Pluto's connection with theUnconscious/depth psychology.)

Is Jeb an 'unconscious' despot? His wife and children must know the answer to that one!

Yet unlike most politicians, he has no 12th house planets natally so his Sun-Pluto opposition will have to do for his political aspirations and tendencies...and Pluto is near the 12th cusp in the Placidus House System used here (and may be in 12th house in other systems.)


If you enlarge the chart you'll see the particulars of Bush's Pre-Natal Eclipse Series (8 South) which manifested once again Sep 22, 2006.

This is the "separations; loss; partings; physical injury due to overstrain" Series we've been under--until the Mar 19/20 Eclipse on Monday which also occurred 3 days after Jeb Bush's birth. This 9 New North Series (28Pis07) is a "violence; accidents" Series.

(Looking back at 1953, that was the year the CIA installed the tyrant, the Shah, in Iran...and our chickenhawk neocons are now wishing they could perform a similar feat there again, aren't they?)

But back to the Jeb:

You see that tr Pluto, master of transformation, has recently crossed into his n 4th house, the Foundation of the chart. This indicates that it's time for Bush to cope with negative conditioning from childhood that my be affecting him adversely now...not easy when you have Sun opposite Pluto, but perhaps he's happy as a clam with the family crime syndicate he was born into...but be that as it may...

family ties may be broken or become more more close and powerful under this transit and his status within the family will be a focus of attention (for a 2008 prez bid?)

An older family member or two will pass away with tr Pluto in 4th house which is a Duh considering his parents' ages.

Home renovations and plumbing repairs are common under Pluto's visit to 4th house of Domestic Scene...plus, he may discover a family secret that will transform his life (hope he keeps it to himself--his family dynasty is scary enough already.)

Well, that's a small sashay down Jeb Bush Lane. Now here's a question for you:

When is a university alumni not an alumni? When you're part of the well-connected Bush dynasty, of course. You may take your seat at the head of the class!

The war-funding bill passed a few minutes ago by a 218-212 vote. We'll see if this actually amounts to anything or is just the usual theater, dahling.

"The Secret" and the Minor Progressed Chart

According to the best-seller, The Secret, the Secret of Life is the law of attraction.

Astrologically we think of the planet Venus which describes what we attract and what we are attracted to. We may also think of jolly, expansive Jupiter, the generous side of God, Who wants us to experience the abundance of the universe, if we'll only accept it.

Yet as I read a summary of the principles from the book, it's like reading about Minor Progressions, the mental-causal plane info which may be gleaned concerning thoughts which are trying to bubble up from the Unconscious into consciousness and which create the future reality found eventually in the Secondary Progressions (physical plane.)

In The Secret, we discover that when you think a thought, you are attracting like thoughts to you. Thoughts are "magnetic" and have a frequency as your thoughts are sent out into the universe and magnetically attract all like things on the same frequency...frequency being an astrological term also.

Our solar system was created by sound waves (frequency--The Word) and which may be studied by way of Harmonics charts (one of my personal favorite branches of Astrology, btw.)

This reciprocity might be a point in favor of the validity of Astrology itself!

So if you want different things in your life, think different thoughts, says the book. (Doesn't this favor the classic, The Power of Positive Thinking, by Norman Vincent Peale?)

According to The Secret, your current thoughts are creating your future life...exactly what the Minor chart tells us. We have a thought, we have a feeling or intuition about the thought, then we act if we so choose. Your thoughts become things, says The Secret...prexactly and excisely!

As long as no one lets Bush, Cheney, Bush Sr, Kristol, and the rest of the 1% gang read it--they suffer from too much Jupiterian "positive" thinking already--much to the whole world's dismay with the negative consequences of their misdirected, ego-laden thinking.

GREEN COMET: There's a new comet in the southern hemisphere: Comet Lovejoy (C/2007 E2). Terry Lovejoy of Australia discovered it on March 15th using, remarkably, not a telescope but only an off-the-shelf digital camera. The green comet is too dim to see with the naked eye, but it is a nice target for backyard telescopes. After five days of monitoring, the comet's orbit is now known with some accuracy and it is possible to make predictions about Comet Lovejoy's future movements and brightness.

The Tennessean has an article detailing Al Gore's ownership of zinc mineral rights to some middle Tennessee property he originally purchased Sep 22, 1973 when things were different.

Tenn. mine enriched Gore, scarred land but be sure to read it all...it's something of a mixed report imho.

As it says, "No major pollution violations, but threat remains." Perhaps that's the best they had against him.

One reason I mention this is because when a politician is ill-thought-of in his home state--which everyone I know says Gore is (as is John Edwards in NC) it makes me wonder why...what do the natives know that I should know?

Well, this may not be it--as stated in the article, 1973 sensibilities aren't those of 2007--but you may want to check it out esp if you're rooting for Gore to run in 2008. Know your man before you stand by him!

Gemini North Node: George W. Bush

There's a handy book by Jan Spiller, Astrology for the Soul, which is useful for Nodal info--even though I confess to being a Saturnian astrologer which means I see heredity and genealogy where Uranians seem to see "past lives" or reincarnation.

And through Scriptural studies I have a different understanding of the word soul believing it to be what we each are, not a thing that we have: "...and man became a living soul" (Genesis.)

Still, I find Ms. Spiller's book useful for Nodal information--I just translate the info into a more Saturnian view and it works dandily.

One of the many interesting debates within Astrology is whether--for example--having North Node (NN) in Gemini is same as having NN in 3rd house--if your Gem NN is not actually posited in 3rd house. Some astrologers are determined that it is not the same. I agree, yet there do seem to be correspondences afoot.

Let's consider the natal NN of George Bush and see if Spiller's Nodal info rings true for his natal placement of Gemini NN in 11th house (AQ's natural house)--then we'll look at "NN in Aquarius" also esp since Bush's NN is conjunct Uranus, associated with the sign Aquarius (I don't use outer planets as rulers, just higher frequencies--but Uranus/NN = associations with unusual or reformist groups.)


Gemini NN's Attributes to Develop:

asking questions to learn how others think; healthy curiosity; seeing both sides of a situation; tact; logic; using a non-threatening approach when expressing ideas; listening; openess to new ideas and experiences; seeking factual information before making decisions.

Gem NN's Tendencies to Leave Behind:

aloofness; self-righteousness; needing to be right; thinking one knows what others are thinking without actually listening; assuming others know 'where they're at'; espousing "Truth" without taking others' views into consideration; careless spontaneity; taking shortcuts; acting on intuition without checking facts; resisting ideas that are foreign to one's belief system; prejudging present situations based on past experience.

Don't know about you but all the above resembles his nibs from my observations.

Spring EQ brings Gore to Congress

There've been so many charts to study this weekend for the upcoming week--it's Sunday afternoon and nothing has gelled for posting so I'm combining two entries into 'Spring Equinox/Gore testifies to Congress on global warming' just to save my knarly typing finger some aches and pains.

As you know, the Sun reaches Aries Point (AP = 00Aries00, a World Point) on March 20, 8:07:32 pm edt (for the White House.) Moon will be positioned at 26Ari47 just after the New Moon, the beginning of a new cycle which will culminate in two weeks with the Full Moon appr April 2 (depending where you're located.)

Sun/AP = Moon/Mercury: realism; practical planning; thinking along biological lines; good intellectual powers; public contact.

There may be a clarification of objectives to the day which may be--if the objectives are positive--a good thing.

The Descendant in the EQ chart is Gore's natal Sun degree, "11Aries": "The president of the country" but don't go getting any ideas. Actually, do go getting ideas--Mr. Gore's Jupiter Return occurs at the end of 2007...Dec 12, to be exact.

And you don't always see such a Jupiter Return as his...MC conj his n Moon 3Cap14, with Jupiter 28Sag36 conj tr Pluto (so tr Pluto to n Jupiter--as it is this week) at MC in 9th house, the house which is ruled by Jupiter in the natural zodiac. Political ambitions may expand under this transit.

Jupiter Return Moon 24Cap15...Capricorn is the sign of worldy ambition and is in 10th house of Public Status/Career, so perhaps Gore will be coaxed/begged enough by December to announce his acceptance of the Dem nomination.

Yet the Return chart isn't perfect: contentious instigator Mars 7Can16 Rx--in fall in Cancer--is at the IC in 4th house, the Foundation of the chart and so is squaring the Return ASC.

And natally this tr Mars position is in Gore's 12th house...more behind-the-scenes shenanigans perhaps esp since Gore's natal Sun/Neptune opposition makes it fairly easy for those who are determined to confuse others about Gore's personality and purposes to the extent that he is confused himself for he is prone to unrealistic expectations of others, to unconscious deceit, and may regard himself as being inspired from On High.

Others in authority may find him vague and so they form misconceptions about him and, as we know, this a typical ploy used in politics ad nauseum. Gore's recent success with global warming speeches and An Inconvenient Truth may be due to his sticking to the facts--yet even there the science on global warming has been under attack by those who wish to confuse the public on the issues and on the man.


There is a T-square in the Jupiter Return chart:

Mars/MC = ASC: confidence; pizzaz; success; assumption of leadership.

and a YOD pattern:

Venus/Saturn = ASC: withdrawal from fear of not being accepted; a desire for separation.

(A confusing mix there.)

With Jupiter's cycle being appr 12 years in duration, a Jupiter Return chart (or Reward Cycle, as Noel Tyl says) is in effect for 12 years--quite important in one's life scheme. Transits to the chart's planets and angles will be interesting to watch as the campaign season progresses into 2008.

And on Wednesday, Mar 21, his scheduled appearance before Congress, tr NN (meetings; associations) will be conj Gore's natal Mercury (speaking; also meetings), tr Pluto 28Sag56 will conj n Jupiter 28:36, yet tr Saturn 18Leo55, the King of Terror Eclipse (8.11.99)'s degree (and Venus' degree on 9/11/01) will be conj his n Mars 18Leo08.

The Saturn-to-Mars transit often indicates male relationships being restricted or broken off; plus, he'd better be well-prepared with his testimony (for sure he will be, I'm just sayin'.) Circumventing rules and regulations is frowned upon during this transit what with Saturn representing authority and Mars representing our energy, action, and initiative.

At 9:30 am edt on Wednesday, Gore's natal Sun is rising...with its "11Aries" degree, "The president of the country" in tow. Guess the real president will be in the House.

And tr Mars at the "A man unmasked" degree will be opposing lonely Saturn, the leader/authority. This means that while tr Saturn will be conjuncting his n Mars as mentioned, tr Mars will be opposing n Mars, the head-against-brickwall transit. So Mr. Gore may wonder why he bothered when his testimony is over...it may be a time-wasting exercise in the end since others' interests are diametrically opposed to his own.

Whatever happens in Congress this week, Mr. Gore will be certain to wield a powerful influence upon the public if not upon Washington's knuckle-headed politicians for only a paltry few share his interests in the environment. The tr Moon (the public) in Taurus, sign of the Earth and of her exaltation, will be trining his natal Moon as well, so the sheeple may appreciate his efforts and some good publicity may come out of it for him.


Yet the Sun Aries/Moon Taurus blend for March 21 is interesting to note due to its forceful, straight-from-the-shoulder charm, and its personal ambition.

John Howard has plane trouble too

An RAAF Hercules carrying Prime Minister John Howard was forced to make an emergency landing in southern Iraq on Saturday night after its cabin filled with smoke. All aboard were told to don oxygen masks. The emergency came just minutes after the aircraft had taken off from the Australian base in Tallil, an area known for its 'insurgents' loyal to Shiite leader Moqtada al-Sadr. #

It's not just Dick Cheney, it's his pal, John Howard as well. Perhaps they should both keep their boots on the ground...er, make that loafers.

Solar Eclipse and a Pluto Eclipse

SOLAR ECLIPSE: On March 19th around 0230 UT, the Moon will pass in front of the Sun, producing a partial solar eclipse visible from Russia, India, China and the northern reaches of Alaska. In those places the normally-round sun will turn into a crescent and cast strangely-curved shadows on the ground. PLUTO ECLIPSE: Astronomers from Texas to California with be watching Pluto Sunday morning, March 18th, when the dwarf planet sweeps across a red, 15th magnitude star in the constellation Sagittarius. Pluto's atmosphere was discovered as a result of such an occultation in 1985. When a star goes behind Pluto, its light is not extinguished abruptly, as if hidden by a sharp edge, but rather gradually--a sign that Pluto is surrounded by a fuzzy layer of gas.

Astronomers now use stellar occultations to monitor Pluto's atmosphere. Pluto is receding from the Sun and at some point it may become so cold that its atmosphere freezes and falls to the ground. NASA's New Horizons spacecraft is rushing to catch Pluto (ETA: 2015) before that happens. On March 18th, we'll find out if Pluto's atmosphere is still "up in the air."

Amateur astronomers with large backyard telescopes and CCD cameras should be able to record the occultation. Visit SpaceWeather.com for observing tips.#

Well, it seems good old Pluto does still have some cred in the astronomical community after all.

And the Solar eclipse 28Pis07 occurs at 10:42:31 pm edt, Sunday, March 18 for DC.

Mars 16AQ01 and Neptune 20AQ53 are snugged around the IC of the Eclipse chart with Saturn 19Leo02 Rx at MC--the only planet in the southern hemisphere, all by his lonesome, no one calling on the phone--which gives this picture:

And after studying charts for the Libby verdict, plus Cheney's natal chart, etc, it looks to me like yesterday's helpful Grand Trine--a closed circuit energy pattern if there ever was one--between Jupiter (Rs), Saturn (Ds), and Venus (Patrick Fitzgerald, seems to me...Venus' Scales of Justice)--may relate to Fitzgerald's immediate announcement that he expected to seek No Other Indictments in this leaky matter...which some might say is a reach-around if there ever was one. Squeezy!

Or was Fitzgerald cannily seeking to put certain big fish at their ease ("expected")?

Well, it is all about protecting Bush after all, isn't it?

Guilty!

Scooter Libby found guilty of all but one charge--perjury--lying to the FBI (and what politician hasn't done that?)--now facing up to 30 years in prison but federal guidelines recommend less.

His attorneys say they will ask for a new trial and will appeal if it's not granted.

And while my heart goes out to Libby's family, I think perhaps families shouldn't let loved ones enter politics--or become toadies and sacrificial lambs for people like Dick Cheney.

Cheney and the deep thrombosis

Well, monkeying with his plane when he was leaving Australia the other day didn't get him and bombing his snuggly bunker in Afghanistan failed to do the trick. But even 66-year-old Dick Cheney is subject to the health constraints of a bad heart and to the harvesting sickle of Old Father Time.

Yet Cheney's close calls on his recent global journey nagged at me--who knew where he'd be and when? Who sent him on his mission to pollinate the globe with Washington payoffs, threats, and kudos?

Who do we know would stop at nothing?

And still this "deep venous thrombosis" didn't keep the old workhorse from his desk, not to fret! Read the AP article by clicking on title above if you're concerned.

Perhaps the recent (Jan and Feb) Saturnian Scythe up above has been aimed at Cheney all along!

Looking today at the Progressed charts of Thomas Jefferson who may have something to say about our current infestation in Washington bwo of his Minor (mental-causal plane), Tertiary (feeling-intuitive plane), and Secondary (physical plane) midpoint pictures.

As you know, the Minor-Tertiary-Secondary Progressed charts are derived from the Natal chart and relate to the 27:13:1 ratio...we have a thought, then a feeling or intuition about the thought, then we act...that's Minor 27, Tert 13 and Sec 1, the 1 being the physical plane where we choose to act or not.

Minor charts also describe thoughts which are attempting to rise from our Unconscious and which perhaps should Not be acted upon...our choice.


Minor midpoints of Thomas Jefferson:

Mercury/Saturn = Mars: unrest; quarrels; treating others badly; separations caused by arguments and disputes; a change through force of circumstances; risking everything to make a point; turning drive into tyranny; no compromise.

Pluto/NN = Mars: demonstration of violence and brutality; desire to make others amenable to one's wishes; the misfortune to be placed in someone's else's hand or power; exhibition of personal power; tyranny.


Seems Tom would be thinking about tyranny if he were here--and with good cause. Since charts continue to speak and be triggered after we're gone, let's be brave on Tom's behalf for the sake of America. With his life dedicated to her establishment, he may be trying to tell us something about her this very day.

Avoiding tyranny was, after all, the basis for the founding of this nation--yet the military industrial complex is well on its way to having its way and establishing tyranny over the sheeple in the here and now...and on the entire world, if it can.

We can't even say Eisenhower and others didn't warn us. Then there's popular entertainment, religion, keeping up with the Jonese--all opiates of the masses--which we've also been warned about. How many of us listen?

Lunar Eclipse Mar 3 2007

Using the White House, Washington DC, as location for this Lunar Eclipse which will be in progress at Moonrise Saturday, 6:17:04 pm est, we will see a deep red-colored Moon.

This extraordinary red color isn't from pollution or from clouds, folks, this is the real deal.

Above title links to NASA's info with a map of visibility which covers pretty much everywhere on the globe with Moonrise to be seen from North America--and from Capitol Hill.

With Lunar Eclipses highlighting--or reflecting, in the case of the Moon--critical consciousness issues, this could be a doozy. Uncovering the negative/shadow side/unconscious danger may be particularly applicable to Capitol Hill and to blabbing politicians the globe over.

The Moon's Eclipse degree is 13Vir00 so let's look at *Dr. Marc Edmund Jones' interpretation of the Sabian Symbol for "13Vir":
