March 23, 2020: If you have yet to view the horoscope of Election Day 2020, here's a previously posted bi-wheel of November 3, 2020 showing 12:00 am to 11:59 pm set for Washington DC. There you'll see a Capricorn trio of Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn forming a revealing midpoint picture on that significant day of a super-significant presidential election. Not that down-ballot elections aren't important--they are, of course, especially since the Democratic Party needs to take the Senate and keep the House. Otherwise it's more years of regressive reactionary politics and policies led by Republicans and their crabby anti-constitutional backers - and no picnic even if Democrats prevail. Keeping our democratic Republic is the objective - or it should be.

However, if Republicans follow their usual formula now that wastrel Trump and his fellow culprits have demolished the National Treasury with their tax cuts for the wealthy, corporate welfare hand-outs, and other financial schemes and thefts, the reins of power will be handed to Democrats to 'fix' the economy. That's if it can be fixed after Covid-19 has its way with us. But as you know, faith is necessary in order to believe that there will be a US economy! For isn't it 'faith' that keeps fiat currency afloat to the extent that it has?

Well, be that as it may or may not be, this post is about societal planets Jupiter (expansion) and Saturn (restriction) which, as a team, represent in Politics such things as 'checks and balances' - the form of government the Founders created back in 1776, and the form of government zealous saboteurs have shoved Washington away from - with circumstances made worse under the faithless Trump, McConnell, and friends. Will their Executive Branch power grab be permanent?

Jupiter-Saturn: More Changes Coming

Now as you know, year 2020 ends with a Great Conjunction (or Great Mutation, if you prefer) of Jupiter and Saturn, a 20-year cosmic event of major importance marking the time when a new cycle begins in society. Formerly conjoined in practical Earth signs, the upcoming conjunction occurs in the Air sign of water-bearer Aquarius with its Saturn-Uranus vibes of old order vs new order. If this marks the fabled "Age of Aquarius" it leaves much to be desired.

Now hopefully the following information will not be too confusing to read for instead of typing it all again, here's a slightly-edited-for-clarity reprint of my previous Jupiter-Saturn post followed by potentials of the Jupiter-Saturn = Pluto midpoint, plus, a few fussy remarks by yours truly:

Note that the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction perfects on December 21, 2020 @00AQ29 (conjunct US POTUS Sun and a few minutes after Winter Solstice) at 1:20 pm est White House Washington DC:

Midpoint Potentials for societal planets Jupiter (expansion) and Saturn (restriction) when their energies combine approximately every 20 years - in Politics or Business (Michael Munkasey) = "checks and balances; changes in governmental, religious, or social orders; repression based on morality instituted by law or religion; a judicial system at its breaking point; leniency and harshness vie for balance within the overall social and economic systems."

To Jupiter-Saturn Reinhold Ebertin adds: "government officials, politicians, law professors, clergymen, civil servants of the administration."

To Jupiter-Saturn Noel Tyl adds: "Law and order, ambition given the go-ahead signal; patience pays off, feeling righter than right; dogmatic; control tempers zeal; opportunities are carefully evaluated; success takes on long-term security; one has 'made it happen'; strategy."

And here are the potentials of the Winter Solstice 2020 midpoint picture of Jupiter-Saturn = (POTUS) Sun:

"Boasting a lot; dreaming of a potential for actuality; feeling you can positively influence social change; an increase in self-pride and ability to demonstrate positive leadership before others" (Munkasey); "inconstancy; moodiness (via liver disturbances); happy in solitude; change of residence; gaining experience" (Ebertin); "taking destiny into one's own hands; major changes according to plan; or, if nothing has been prepared, becoming gripped by the status quo and having to make the best of things" (Tyl).

(As for "positively" influencing social change, I'd prefer the laid-back Joe Biden, thanks, especially since it's difficult to imagine how "King of Debt" narcissist Trump, 'the divider', could have any positive influence upon society at all. For it seems to me he's proven his negative intentions with his natal Mars opposing US natal Moon (We The People) although you're welcome to disagree. Yes, I complained about this touchy Moon-Mars opposition before Election 2016 but Trump voters were totally entranced by the snake and his lies to take heed.)

Yet we know that any, all, or none of these midpoint potentials may apply or express no matter who sits in the Oval Office playing the role of President of the United States in 2021 and beyond, and any of the midpoints may be activated by transits, progressions, lunations (New and Full Moons) and solar and lunar eclipses. This can make positive changes to previous changes a possibility!

Yes, the fact that the Great Conjunction of heavyweights Jupiter and Saturn occurs at Winter Solstice 2020 makes it even more influential and doubles its global significance. Especially since the two planets are considered the 'flywheel of the Universe" (yin-yang) which keeps our Solar System's planets orbiting within their courses. Personally, I thank the Great Mathematician for this!

Yet we might also note that the explosive, violent Mars-Uranus duo rises and conjoins the Ascendant in the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction 2020 Horoscope which suggests potentials for more changes and for 'upsetting events, arrests, or injuries' (Ebertin); and/or 'deriving enjoyment from agitating or upsetting others' (Munkasey). Well, arresting culpable corporate culprits would be an improvement for a change, wouldn't it?

As for their last conjunction--the current cycle of Jupiter-Saturn in effect until December 21, 2020--that would be the Great Conjunction of May 28, 2000 @22Tau43, one of the heralds of the New Millennium, at '23Taurus' = "A Jewelry Shop Filled with the Most Magnificent Gems"...negative expression: a greediness which betrays the soul with trifles" (Jones). Curiously enough, the 2000 conjunction perfected upon the natal MC (Goals; Aspirations) of the greedy Donald Trump who seems to have betrayed his country for filthy lucre--and for power over the world, corrupt and authoritarian though it may be. Jupiter-Saturn = natal MC: "changes, losses, fluctuating success" (Ebertin).

So the fact that the Great Conjunction of heavyweights Jupiter and Saturn occurs at Winter Solstice 2020 makes it more influential and of global significance. Karma Knocks at Society's Door

Jupiter-Saturn = Pluto: "intense business activity; a total reversal to previously made plans; extreme changes" (Munkasey); "violent changes; immense effort; separation; restriction (Ebertin, who adds, "in certain cases Pluto = Jupiter-Saturn leads to an enforced change through imprisonment, in which case the political situation has to be considered"); major change of situation; tremendous perseverance; dramatic thrust of self; control of the situation" (Tyl). (Note that "violent changes" may refer to earth changes such as natural disasters with disruptive Uranus in Earthy Taurus, a money sign, so there are economic implications as well.)

And here are the midpoint's potentials provided by Michael Munkasey in his book Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets: "Jupiter-Saturn = Pluto: intense business activity; a total reversal to plans previously made; extreme lifestyle changes; transforming personal ideas about the future into today's reality."

Of course, the trio of planets in Capricorn play musical chairs off and on as the months go by creating different midpoint pictures as they change positions, yet considering that we're already experiencing such extreme changes now, it's safe to say that restrictive societal reforms will continue in one form or another into 2021 no matter who 'wins' in November 2020 or whether election results can be trusted--or, whether Election 2020 collapses or actually occurs or not.

And through all this, what I'm trying to say is that apparently, major changes and reforms to governmental, social, economic, and religious orders, as timed primarily by Jupiter Conjunct Saturn 2020 is an 'idea' (Aquarius) whose time has come, digitally and otherwise. And although we're feeling strong hints of them now, how harsh the upcoming changes, reforms, and restrictions will be remains to be seen.

March 2020 and a Tragic Midpoint Picture of Death

March 21, 2020: Readers who are familiar with SO'W posts concerning the natal horoscope of Donald Trump have most likely run across my complaints about a certain midpoint picture under which Trump was born: Mars-Saturn = Pluto found in his natal 12th house of the Unconscious, Hidden Enemies, Karma, Self-Undoing, Large Institutions such as Hospitals, and Politics. As you know, Mars-Saturn is known as the 'death axis' according to Reinhold Ebertin, and denotes harmful, destructive energy. And as you know, astrological Pluto, planet of invisibility and karma, rules the realms of the Underworld, criminality and mobsters, power (including political and nuclear), transformation, surveillance, manipulation, control, the occult, and death.

Six Days in March 2020

Then a cosmic synchronicity occurred from March 13, 2020 (1:47 am edt) until March 18, 2020 (12:49 pm edt) when the very same tragic midpoint picture pulsed from within the transiting Capricorn line-up of planets and the Mars-Saturn-Pluto trio formed to echo Trump's Mars-Saturn = Pluto with its unfortunate potentials for: 'death of many people; murder; bodily injury or harm; intervention of a Higher Power' (Ebertin).

Of course, multiple Events of March 13, 2020 involved Covid-19 (plus, it was 'Friday the 13th').

And here is Democracy Now!'s March 18, 2020 Covid-19 Update as the number of infections were increasing.

Now as you know, large numbers of people are being tested and treated for CoronaVirus in other countries but in the US, "blameless" Trump, who initially called the contagion a "hoax" and kept to himself its existence for weeks as did others) has successfully managed to keep the American people and our healthcare system behind the curve with test kits, ventilators, hospital beds, masks, and other needed supplies and resources.

Yes, we can add Donnie's lackluster performance in the Covid-19 catastrophe to his other deficiencies of leadership--the list too long to mention--but to me, current events and his failures in leading the fight to protect and aid us against the virus seem more devilish than that since his sorriness could very well be purposeful, a method of depopulation, in fact, and an excuse for making extreme changes and reforms in and to our country (watch for them, they may turn out to be permanent!). And remember that the harsh, cruel January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 conjoined Trump's natal Vertex of fated encounters--and/or wish fulfillment!

In addition, many people have theorized that the current conditions of enforced isolation and illness could potentially include a cancellation of the 2020 Election and Trump retaining office. Now there's motivation for the power-mad gold-hoarder!

So whether Trump purposefully dropped the Covid-19 ball or not, I can never forget or discount Trump's natal midpoint picture of tragedy since the day in 2015 I first noticed it in his natal horoscope: Mars-Saturn = Pluto.

Astro-Notes on the CoronaVirus outbreak in China

Apparently New Year's Eve 2019 is the date that people in Wuhan, China first presented with the viral infection if reports are true. I assume that when that date is given it refers to our Western 'New Year's Eve' and not the Chinese New Year which began January 25, 2020 (Year of the Rat). On that evening, the Moon conjoined Neptune in mid-Pisces with Moon, Neptune, and Pisces as markers for illness and for possible infection or contagion. (As you know, Neptune is the urge-to-merge planet.)

Now usually the impressionable, sensitive Moon-Neptune pair tends to conjure lovely images in the minds of most earthlings, however, their conjunction on that particular date also met with a certain fixed star of turbulence, Achernar (Alpha Eridanus) and seems to have activated or reflected the star's keywords: crisis (at the end of the river) and/or a risk of rapid endings. And tragically, for some folks across the globe, rapid endings it has already been. And for many societies including America, a crisis has presented itself, and everyone is at risk.

So perhaps a quick consultation with the great Reinhold Ebertin concerning the biological potentials of the Moon-Neptune pair could be instructive to some degree while keeping in mind that Moon = the people and relates to health and the physical body while Neptune = the Collective, the masses, and contagion. Plus, shady Pisces (often a sign of weakness, feebleness, and/or sickness) describes the secretiveness of attempting to keep quiet about the facts of the contagion--and the fact that governmental leaders cannot be trusted to reveal correct data to the public especially when their election chances and careers may be affected--even when their unreliability sacrifices other people's lives! Yes, some politicians keep that extreme 'Ayn Rand selfishness' as their me-first goal in all things.

March 2020 and the Modern Humanity Horoscope

Health Indicators, Eclipses, and the Modern Humanity Horoscope

In April 2015, the Horoscope of Modern Humanity was published here on SO'W as found in E. Alan Meece's book Horoscope for the New Millennium (1996). Based on the Total Solar Eclipse of April 26, 1892 in the 2 Old North Saros Series and on the Great Conjunction of Neptune and Pluto in early Gemini, one notable feature is that America's July 4, 1776 Sun @13Can19 conjoins the chart's Midheaven which suggests our nation's leadership and importance on the world stage during our current age. Yes, America's prominence may be passing, but there it is on the chart for all to see.

Of course, current progressions of the 1892 horoscope can reveal current conditions so I'll add a Secondary Progressed ('SP') Chart, below, with a few health indicators and an emphasis on the SP Ascendant (@23Cap40) where natal Mars rises, where the 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction hit, and where the three Jupiter-Pluto Conjunctions of 2020 will meet (see bottom, right). A few other notes are scribbled upon the chart if you wish to enlarge for reading. For instance, there's a sesquisquare between Sun in Virgo, sign of health, and Jupiter Rx in Aries, suggesting 'illness through wrong nutrition' (Ebertin). Sesquisquares can work as health indicators (see bottom, left) along with semisquares. Yet the Sun-Jupiter duo when working together positively indicates 'regenerative functions of the blood' and 'the restoration of health' (Ebertin).

1892 Horoscope Progressed to March 12, 2020 12:00 pm edt Washington DC:

Themes of Modern Humanity's Prenatal Solar Eclipse: 2 Old North

Now the 2 Old North series contains difficult themes, among them 'unfortunate news about personal relationships, thoughts of separation, and/or the ending of a union. However, a quick grasp of what must be done and quick action can bring positive results' (Brady's Predictive Astrology). Perhaps you remember that a solar eclipse manifested in the 2 Old North series on July 13, 2018 @20Can41 (a repetition of Trump's Prenatal Solar Eclipse!) and was stimulated on January 10, 2020 by a Lunar Eclipse, also @20Cancer, a critical degree--and both conjoined Castor, a creative star but one with potentials for 'crippling of limbs, mental illness, sudden fame, loss, and/or murder' (A. Louis). As you know, a star's expression depends upon which planets the star conjoins and with an eclipse there (a 'wild card' of the Universe, aka, a 'cosmic blink'), unexpected results tend to occur in similar fashion to the electrical energies of erratic Uranus. Stars may actually 'work through' eclipses, in fact, and vice versa.

Perhaps mention should be made of US natal Sun conjunct Sirius, The Scorcher, aka, the Dog Star, supplying potentials for wealth, ambition, luck, pride, fame, honors, and occult interests. Understandably, dog bites may also be a 'gift' of Sirius.

Well, let's dare to look ahead a few months, for on July 5, 2020, a Capricorn Lunar Eclipse manifests upon the IC of the Modern Humanity Horoscope which suggests domestic concerns possibly with a security flavor, and/or revelations in the realms of US leadership and government.

And finally! This brings me to the point of this post: that the Horoscope of Modern Humanity's 4th house Mars @24Cap58 (spotlighted by a Lunar Eclipse @24Capricorn on July 16, 2019), is being activated by both transit Saturn and Pluto, fresh from their January 12, 2020 Conjunction (@22Cap46 conjunct Trump's natal Vertex) with the following possibilities: health or illness connotations and restraining conditions (ex: quarantine) of transit Saturn conjunct Mars, then transit Pluto conjunct Mars suggests aggressive or intense physical actions, karmic situations and opportunities, secret actions or motives, and/or research and development.

Plus, difficult potentials formed when the 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction hit the 1892 Mars and I suspect their effects are still ringing in Modern Humanity's ears. So using midpoint pictures of Munkasey, Tyl, and Ebertin, here are a few of their potentials; any, all, or none may apply and are subject to transits and progressions:

2020 Saturn-Pluto = 1892 Mars: 'activating plans for much destruction or upheaval; energy to continue restraining activities which contaminate, adulterate, or otherwise poison (or infect? jc); a need to use whatever means or power are available to continue working; the necessity to fight for one's existence; maltreatment; ruthlessness; violence; fighting battles to keep life going; enormous undercurrent of frustration; a gun with a cork in its barrel'.

Jeff Sessions Trying To Win Back Trump's Heart - TYT

Federal Judge calls out Bill Barr on cover-up of Trump

March 7, 2020:

Now that 'AG' Bill Barr's "one-sided narrative" of the Mueller Report has been called out by a federal Judge Reggie Walton for Barr's "misrepresentations" of the report meant to hide the guilt of Donald Trump, it appears that current transits of the July 16, 2019 Lunar Eclipse (@24Cap04) continues to be triggered by transit Pluto (today @24Cap24) so we know that karma is in the houses of Barr and Trump. And of course, the January 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 perfected very near the July 2019 Lunar Eclipse degree. Transit Saturn, planet of realism and accountability, reached 24Capricorn in late January 2020 while transit Pluto has been on degree since late February 2020.

Meanwhile, much of the underhandedness of Bill Barr, fake AG, is now revealed via Buzzfeed's Jason Leopold and his article published March 5, 2020 followed by an update the evening of March 6, in case you missed it.

Mr. Leopold's FOIA request is leading to the redacted information in the Mueller Report being cited and soon reviewed (Mercury now retrograde!) - if the DOJ complies - by Judge Walton but credit is also due to powerful Pluto in governmental Capricorn for acting as catalyst (revealing lies and abuse of power) along with the ability of all eclipses, including Lunar ones, to uncover secrets (the redacted portions of the Mueller Report and its true conclusions against Trump) and for bringing to light what could not have remained hidden forever.

But here it is and now Judge Walton has ordered the DOJ (Barr) to produce the reasons for the redactions in the Mueller Report so we'll see how that proceeds. It won't be enough to dissuade Trump voters from his corrupt side because pathetically, it seems that no crime by Trump ever will.

DC Horoscope: Donald Trump Solar Return 2020

The SR Mars-Neptune conjunction in SR 9th house of Foreign Lands and Legal Affairs conjoins the SR Saturn-Uranus midpoint (see midpoint picture, below) - all in shady, secretive, infection-prone Pisces, with Pisces on the 9th cusp. Sneaky things may be hidden here! And note that the Sabian Symbol for Mars-Neptune: "21Pisces" = "A Little White Lamb, a Child, and a Chinese Servant." Of course, a "servant" could describe Trump controlled or compromised by China (via money laundering), or it could have something to do with the beginning of the Wuhan virus with its most at-risk targets (or victims, such as seniors and children) represented by an innocent "child."

Then as you know, the 12th house is the Neptunian realm of the Unconscious, Politics, Large Institutions (ex: Congress), Self-Undoing, Karma, Secret Enemies, and, in relation to our topic, Hospitals and/or Illness (opposite the 6th house of Health and Service).

Along similar 6th/12th-house lines, the Mars-Neptune pair suggests, among other things, 'susceptibility to epidemic infections' according to Reinhold Ebertin (see right, center), and possibly 'fevers, weakened stamina', 'rioting over national healthcare', and/or 'hypo-adrenal conditions'.

Turbulent Circumstances

Therefore, since the world is under threat of the corona virus as I type, and because Trump's SR 2020 horoscope shows links to health concerns and weakness issues, this post will primarily relate to medical potentials particularly when it comes to Donald Trump (whose health could not possibly be as strong as 'they say'!) Of course, what's shown in his SR chart could be only due to the contagion itself and the circumstance that America is stuck with--a fact-and-science denier who's 'dealing' with the contagion along with the 'help' of VP Pence (put in charge to soak up any blame that accrues, I suspect; we'll see). On the brighter side, perhaps the viral threat will be over or mostly over by mid-June! After all, Trump's natal Jupiter-Uranus trine does make him quite the fortunate fellow and we could all use a lucky break on this one.

So let's get the troubling midpoint picture out of the way (political, social, biological), then we'll discuss Trump's 2020 SR Sun and SR Moon, the primary considerations in a Solar Return chart that's 'good for' an entire year. The following will contain a jumble of my usual sources: Ebertin, Tyl, and Munkasey; any, all, or none of the potentials may result or may be triggered by transits or progressions later on.

Saturn-Uranus Energies Combined with Mars-Neptune

As a midpoint, 'Saturn-Uranus' suggests potentials for 'counter-revolutionary rule, violent people, quarrels, avant-garde vs the conventional, the need to fight for gains, exciting the status quo, and/or heart block'.

Add Mars in contagious Pisces to Saturn-Uranus and several possibilities are suggested such as 'the wrong use of energy, violent acts, forced release from tension or strain, great efforts and toil, challenging others for a decisive contest or fight, deprivation of freedom, injury, tremendous upheaval possible in rebellion, calamity, or over-exertion, anxiety about how things will proceed'.

To Saturn-Uranus add Neptune, strong in its own sign of Pisces, and we have potentials for 'falsehood or malice caused through weakness, resigned to the inevitable, abandonment of resistance, weakening strength, separation, bereavement, masked changes designed to break traditional roles, the delusion that change will improve traditional methods, breakdown under emotional pressure', and/or 'a new vision fighting to be understood'.

As for Trump's SR 2020 Sun and Moon, here's a list of chart factors (not including the SR 10th house Uranus 9Tau09 which is unaspected and thus unencumbered by outside influences and acting independently in spurt-like bursts of activity--this echoes his chaos-loving natal Uranus, his guiding planet):

We should also note that powerful Pluto 24Cap28 leads the tilt of a BOWL shape denoting a leader with a mission or an advocate for a cause. Unfortunately, the mission and cause seem to be implementing an anti-constitutional dictatorship in America (Pluto in Capricorn = "the dictator"--Ebertin). Then in the 6th house of Health lurks the December 26, 2019 Solar Eclipse 4Cap06 in the 3 South Saros Series of 'traumatic transformation', this SR 2020's PE. But soon the Summer Solstice 2020 Solar Eclipse will manifest with 4 North themes of 'restraint, restriction, separation' (as in quarantine?), 'illusions', and 'events that block' (Brady).

Cosmic Conditions of Trump's 2020 Solar Return Sun and Moon include but are not limited to:

SR 2020 Sun in the Cadent 12th house (transitions, fluctuations, preparations, steps taken behind the scenes), along with the North Node of future direction (at a critical 29th degree) suggests solar events taking place near the end of the period--just before his 75th birthday June 2021. But in 2020, even the 9th house SR 2020 Moon complies for the 9th is also a Cadent house of preparation--and Trump's SR 2020 Sun and Moon square one another which suggests challenges, conflicts, frustration, and blockages between goals and needs; a Sun-Moon square in a Solar Return chart may suggest dynamic energy but is unfavorable in general, and may count as as a 'health aspect.'

Other SR Sun aspects: Mars-Neptune conjunction square SR Sun, Mars square SR Sun, and the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction quincunxes (150 degr) his Sun--all suggesting health-related conditions and adjustments needed, with the SR Sun naturally being same as his natal Sun (vitality).

Transit Mars square Trump's Sun often denotes aggression, conflicts with males, and/or head injuries or blocked vitality. And transit Neptune square his Sun indicates that his leadership position is difficult to maintain, confusion and deception reign, and formerly reliable resources may become elusive or eroded. Transit Neptune square his natal Moon (21Sag12) suggests even more confusion and disorganization along with undermining conditions (which can include health concerns). As you know, that's one trouble with a natal opposition-what squares one end squares the other, plus, his Gem-Sag Full Moon is on his (karmic) Nodal Axis. Additionally, Uranus in Taurus, sign of the throat and shoulders, forms a semi-square (45 degr) to both SR Sun and SR Moon--another health indicator which may be merely an irritant or a mild or minor issue. Hope his bone spurs won't act up! See the midpoint picture this forms listed, below.

A closer look at his SR Moon in mutable Pisces suggests potentials for drug involvement (also with Mars-Neptune), and/or physical fragility (yep and yep, I'd say). and with Luna in Pisces, there could be travel (of course), family concerns or loss, new conditions in the domestic sphere, or even a change of jobs (fingers crossed!)

Yet the SR 2020 chart does show beneficial opportunities and a 'ray of hope' for Trump such as the two sextiles (60 degr) from Jupiter and Pluto toward his SR Moon. Apparently, his influence upon the public remains in force although his tendency toward self-righteousness, being stuck in the past, and experiencing a measure of loss through habitual thinking will also continue.

Now before I forget, we should also note that wealthy/stealthy Pluto is the SR planet closest to a chart Angle and thus takes precedence in the chart as 'he' leads the BOWL toward the SR 6th house of Health, Daily Rounds, and Service (Civil, Police, and Military).

Obviously, the Trump coup continues, perhaps with some of its 'reforms for improvement' hidden beneath the corona virus scare and the future restrictions he and his authoritarian comrades have in store. For as we see, the planetary trio of heavyweights appearing in the SR 7th house of Partnerships suggests potentials for 'religious and social fanaticism' and/or 'difficulties caused through illness'.

Now let's close with a few potentials of the SR 2020 chart's four midpoint pictures:

Sun-Moon = Uranus: 'isolating oneself; unusual twists of fate; using Astrology'.

Mars-North-Node = Uranus: 'accidental breaks in the thrusts or tensions of important meetings; disinterested presentations'.

Neptune-North-Node = Uranus: 'disruption and agitation via the actions of others; sudden displacement then isolation' (this picture turns up in the DNC 2020 horoscope).

Venus-ASC = North Node: 'easily meeting others'.

Well, there it is, my glancing assessment of Trump's Solar Return 2020 Horoscope. And if I added one more cosmic factor of curiosity it would be that the SR Ascendant 22Cancer12 brings up Inauguration 2017's Syzygy Moon (last lunation prior to January 20, 2017) which is, was, and always will be, the Full Moon of January 12, 2017 conjunct the natal Saturn of the 'unaccountable' yet Saturnine Mr. Trump.

Symbolism, Virgo-Pisces: The Victim-Savior Axis

At Axios we can read about Trump's "Deep State" hit list he's using to purge government officials who are 'disloyal' to him. Because having and retaining your conscience doesn't jive with working for narcissist despot Donald Trump.

Now sometimes a Sabian Symbol, regardless of its zodiacal degree, seems uppermost within the Collective and it appears to me that Trump's purge of government is one of those cases. Aptly, the Symbol I'm thinking of occurs in shady Pisces, sign of many talents and negative traits, among them paranoia, fear, corruption, fraud (via bubbly 'Jupiter-Neptune'), contagion, rumors, deception, hoaxes, secrets, scandals, psychism, and, on a good day: compassion, sympathy, empathy, creativity, inspiration, and/or spirituality.

So here I'll add the Symbol of purging according to Marc Edmund Jones' The Sabian Symbols in Astrology along with the Symbol's negative expression, plus, its Illumination Point (the degree opposite, '25 Virgo'):

'25 Pisces': "The Purging of the Priesthood" = "Keyword: REFORMATION; negative expression: blind bigotry and vindictiveness."

'25 Virgo': "A Flag at Half-Mast" = "Keyword: RESPECT; negative expression: superficial self-dramatization."

And if you're wondering why I don't include the Symbols' positive expressions, well that's because it's Donald Trump we're talking about.

February 19, 2020 Democrats Debate in Las Vegas

For the cable-TV challenged, here's a link to the MSNBC Live Stream of tonight's Democratic Primary Debate at 9:00 pm (est) in Las Vegas, Nevada. As you've heard, candidate Michael Bloomberg has qualified (purchased) to be on the stage tonight so it should be quite a slug-fest--between Democrats.

And here's a view of the natal horoscope of Michael Bloomberg RR: AA or check out a previous SO'W post featuring the (hopeful!) link between his and Trump's natal charts with Bloomberg's tough, tenacious Saturn-Uranus Conjunction sitting atop the natal Midheaven of Donald Trump and his natal Mars in stubborn Taurus nearby.

And so, in the realms of Astrology we find that both media-lovers are wealth-driven, ruthless, and vindictive which to me would seem rather an equal match-up in November if Democratic voters will give Bloomberg's past flaws and mistakes a pass. After all, Trump gets many such a passes every single day from his supporters and from the complicit Republicans who helped create the orange monster so why not the less objectionable Mikey B?

But as for tonight's pivotal political performance, we know that Mr. Bloomberg hasn't debated anyone since 2009 during a NYC mayoral race so we'll see how this slug-fest proceeds on this important night for Michael Bloomberg and his 2020 candidacy which, if nominated and victorious, may result in the American people trading one money-laundering oligarch with imperial dreams for another one (who's similar but not in every way). Of course, debates are the province of communicator Mercury now Rx in Pisces and conjoining Bloomberg's natal South Node which suggests temporary potentials for original ideas, expressing ideas that are ahead or behind the times, stolen ideas, and/or, that when he speaks no one listens!

And with the Debate Sun so recently entering the sign of Pisces (February 18 at 11:57 pm est) and tonight's Moon in Saturn-ruled Capricorn, a famous quote from a Founding Father, our first President George Washington (whose natal personality blend this is!) seems appropriate:

"Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company." Perhaps tonight mention will be made of Trump's tendency to surround himself with fellow criminals, both imprisoned and on the loose--and with sleazy men of low character. Birds of a feather.

Of course, Pluto in Capricorn as it is now = the dictator (Ebertin) and Saturn-Pluto with more Pluto, according to Michael Munkasey, provides potentials for:

Rupert Murdoch's Solar Eclipse will soon repeat!

Murdoch's Natal Chart and the 2020 Return of his Prenatal Solar Eclipse

According to The Independent, Murdoch-Trump ties go back to the 1980s when Murdoch's New York Post made playboy Trump a gossip column regular. But these days Mr. Murdoch has a dim view of the man he describes as an a**hole he can't get off the phone, plus, other choice descriptions which appear in Michael Wollf's book Siege: Trump Under Fire, published in June 2019 as a sequel to his Fire and Fury.

Anyway, this post is not about their relationship as much as to display the natal horoscope of media mogul Rupert Murdoch (below) and note that his Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') in the difficult 4 South Saros Series will again manifest on December 14, 2020--this time @23Sag08, conjunct Murdoch's 12th house Moon (12th house of Hospitals? Moon = physical body; well, he is of an advanced age, born in 1931).

And yet there's more to Rupert's eclipse story and it involves--you guessed it--Donald Trump. For 4 South eclipse details check out a previous post concerning the December 14, 2020 Eclipse which 'hits' Trump's natal chart, too. Apparently karmic cosmic links exist between the two men which I'd never noticed before until I nosed into Murdoch's Prenatal Solar Eclipse.

So below is a view of Murdoch's March 11, 1931 Natal Horoscope with details penned upon the chart in my usual messy fashion for those who wish to read them. Highlighted in green (lower left) you'll see that his recent Saturn Return (@21Cap04, 1st house) occurred on December 29, 2019 and was soon conjoined by the January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction (22Cap46--conjunct Trump's natal Vertex 22:51, yet another karmic indicator). Power and control issues abound for Murdoch these days along with regrets over the past and a potential for limitations on his ambitions. (See below for a note on his natal Saturn-Pluto opposition).

Additionally, Mr. Murdoch has already passed his Uranus Return/s which perfected in 2014 into 2015 (highlighted in blue, lower right), a watershed time when the past no longer holds as much power over him and he began to feel an urge for freedom--and appropriately, in June 2015 came the announcement that he was stepping down as company CEO, handing the reins to his son, but would still "have a voice" in company operations:

Born in 1931 when Saturn and Pluto opposed one another, Rupert Murdoch's life has been one of dissatisfaction and a deep urge to "annihilate existing forms" (A. Oken) and to destroy the existing order. With the harsh, cruel opposition coming at the height of the Great Depression and the rise of fascism in Europe and Asia, his life and goals are inspired by a potential for economic structures to be uprooted so that new forms can take their place, a goal of destruction that transit Pluto in Capricorn willingly under girds as I type, and we careen toward America's first-ever Pluto Return/s. My point here is that the continuation of this 'new order' process is what we are now reaping, driven by such men as Rupert Murdoch and with mouthpiece Donald Trump propagandizing and gas lighting at us from behind the bully pulpit--the very place where he does not belong.

Will Trump's next acts of revenge seal his destiny?

February 6, 2020: Only a question or two for today's post: Will Trump's next acts of revenge bring his downfall? As you've heard, he's said to be plotting against those who dared impeach him and attempted to remove him from the Oval Office and his vengeful character is well known. Besides, establishing a dictatorship requires abject loyalty and submission on the part of your subjects. Not your loyalty or submission, only theirs.

Born an eclipse child (meaning a person with an eventful life), Donald Trump has many irons in many fires but even he is subject to the natural law of karma. It just may take longer for his karma to become evident in a public way. Of course, impeachment is part of that process yet he's still standing, at least for now. Yet the old adage that 'the bigger they are the harder they fall' may soon apply. Please note that I personally take no glee from this because as Trump goes so goes America--and I suspect that even a fake POTUS qualifies.

Never a pristine snowflake and possessing a destructive temperament, Mr. Mars Rising is reportedly Compiling a Nixonian 'Enemies List' as He Seeks Revenge for Impeachment with John Bolton said to be Trump's top target. Are Rep. Adam Schiff and Speaker Nancy Pelosi his numbers two and three? Where on the list is Mitt Romney, the Republican who upheld his conscience and voted against him?

Meanwhile, for now it's true that Trump enjoys major success and benefits in large part due to royal star Regulus rising with his contentious Mars (a malevolent pairing for Regulus), yet the star's caution is very clear--and resonates with karma's decree that he will reap what he sows.

And so my primary question continues unanswered, at least for the moment:

Will Regulus Assure the Destiny of Donald Trump?

2020 vs 1789: Senate "Acquittal" Vote and Congress

February 1, 2020: Yes, changes are certain to occur between today and the proposed Senate Vote to "acquit" Donald Trump scheduled for Wednesday February 5, 2020 at 4:00 pm est, last I heard. Below is a bi-wheel horoscope set for that date, Capitol Building (symbolic location), but for 4:56:10 pm est in case the vote isn't taken at precisely 4:00 pm--and because it is the moment that scofflaw Trump's natal 12th house Pluto (10Leo02) rises over Capitol Hill on February 5, 2020 (see 4th house). And wherever goes his Pluto of the Underworld goes his destructive Mars-Saturn midpoint, a picture of brutality, fury, destruction--and intervention of a higher power (Ebertin). Michael Munkasey adds potentials for, 'extreme measures against those who cannot defend themselves adequately, intense energy toward goals, and/or respected activities are corrupted'.

Bi-wheel: Congress 1789 in center with outer Senate "Acquittal" Vote February 5, 2020. Some of Trump's natal placements are penned on and highlighted in green, and a few US natal placements are added as well--but there's not enough space on the page for all of them!

Now one consideration on the possibility of a date change is that Trump is said to be none too pleased (aka, angry) that his fake acquittal vote will come after his February 4th SOTU 2020 address so he may demand a change of date to make his boasts and gloating more timely--and he'll call his deceptive utterances "the state of the union"! Of interest in the SOTU 2020 chart and the Senate Vote chart is that contentious Mars @22Sag11/45 conjoins Trump's natal Moon (and South Node) suggesting heated feelings close to the surface, a fast pace of life, hasty actions, and the potential for temper tantrums.

The Mars-South-Node connection adds more antagonism and conflict to the picture, plus, not caring what others think or do, questioning society's militaristic values or group actions, and conduct that's out of harmony with societal norms. What else is new from Trump, right?

Well, we expect that the level of Trumpian revenge will rise as he expresses his Mars Rising energies bolstered by royal Regulus rising - he'll think he has a right to take revenge on all who've opposed him and dared to air his crimes and low character which includes anyone of either party who voted or spoke against him. However, he is not The State whether he chooses to believe it or not! And this, in spite of the caution of Regulus we've discussed many times before: 'success if revenge is avoided, otherwise all that has been gained will be taken away'. But as you know, so far Moscow Mitch has managed to protect Trump from the consequences of his actions. Yet maybe the time approaches that the "intervention of a higher force" will bring in Trump's karmic harvest and he will finally reap what he's sown. Yet if censure of Trump is all the Senate can muster, so be it, for censure will fit quite nicely with Trump's perpetually impeached condition.

After all, you see transit Saturn @25Cap36 (demand for accountability, legalities) conjunct Congress' natal Midheaven ('MC'--the goal) suggesting conservative politics but also the possibility of a fall from grace. If the latter, the US Senate's deceptive actions and subsequent failure to hold a criminal president accountable should rightly haunt them at 2020 ballot boxes across the land (Iowa votes tomorrow via caucus!). Still, Mars (conjunct-Trump's natal Moon-SN) in Congress' 8th house leads a ruthless Locomotive shape of planets, suggestive of Trump, and his determination to succeed (and retaliate).

Then as you see, Congress' 9th house of Legal Affairs (and of Foreign Lands: manipulation from a distance?) holds the powerhouse trio of Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter with 2020 South Node nearby. And the 10th house Sun @16AQ33 nears 1789 Pluto, always a combination of energies seeking and wielding power and control. Thing is, 2020 Saturn and Pluto have already opposed 1789 Jupiter Rx (@19Can57 in 3rd house) and 2020 Jupiter soon will--exact when Jupiter reaches 19Cap57 on or about March 3, 2020, marking a peak of expansive or exaggerated energies when no one is impressed with congressional efforts--and ideals clash. Actually, I already feel unimpressed, don't you? Perhaps in part because in January I had a Jupiter Return! Or more likely because Congress is particularly missing their We the People marks these days, mostly or fully due to Republican obstructionism. Yet November 3rd approaches and a massive Blue Wave is needed for best results because GOP election rigging must be overcome!

So as you see, there are a zillion more factors to discuss in both charts but since this is a post not a book, I'll stop fussing for now and hope that you, dear reader, might discover them for yourself, keeping in mind the 3 South Prenatal Solar Eclipse of the Senate "Acquittal" Vote and the eclipse's traumatic transformation and sudden endings of relationships themes.

Horoscopes: Solar and Lunar Eclipses 2019 into 2020

2019/2020 Linked by Karmic Solar and Lunar Eclipses Across the Security Axis

Perhaps it may be useful for a reader or two to view on the same page both the Capricorn Solar Eclipse that ends 2019 (December 26) and its accompanying Cancer Lunar Eclipse which opens 2020 (January 10) so here ya go:

Enlarge the image if you will for there are some basic eclipse notes penned on the charts including a few of Trump's natal placements, and in the center of each horoscope are penned brief indications based on prominent midpoint pictures (via Munkasey and Ebertin).

Also listed are the 3 South Solar Eclipse themes and potentials for Jupiter's conjunction to South Node which can sometimes resemble a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction. Jupiter-SN reveals karmic conditions such as ethical clashes, conflicts of interest, and religious disagreements. Jupiter @5Cap20 conjoins the IC of the Solar Eclipse chart suggesting some measure of protection on the domestic front (and/or in farming, real estate, mining) however, Jupiter opposes US natal Jupiter (5Can56) (a negative if temporary indication) and as you see, Mercury accompanies the January 2020 Lunar Eclipse at the same critical degree of 20 Capricorn. The Moon-Mercury opposition suggests potentials for changes of mind, emotional challenges, conflicting opinions or ideas, and/or scheduling glitches.

Mercury and Jupiter Influences

Therefore, applying aspects in each chart of Mercury (Lunar Eclipse) and Jupiter (Solar Eclipse) provide further information: Mercury first conjoins Saturn (business contacts, seeking info from seniors or those with experience, serious meetings, court decisions, restricted communications or ideas), then Pluto (info and activities relate to gaining personal power, issues of finance and investment are on the menu, spying and surveillance).

Jupiter first squares the Ascendant (where Trump's natal Neptune rises = unreality and delusions, emotional excesses, promoting "the big picture") and identifies someone bombastic, pompous, and "holier than thou" who spreads himself too thin. Next Jupiter by transit conjoins the South Node (the 'tail of the dragon') as noted, above. The Great Benefic has moved beyond an expansive optimistic conjunction with the Sun although the Sun by transit will catch up with Jupiter (December 27 at 1:25 pm est) suggesting something positive coming (or at least expansive!). This Solar Eclipse occurs after Jupiter's inspirational trine with Uranus, the unpredictable planet which here is in the 8th house of Shared Resources, Credit, Debt, Insurance, Transformation, Big Business, Death, and the Occult suggesting flourishing fundraising and group activities.

Hopefully this combined cosmic picture is helpful to you during this period of sudden changes of direction and traumatic karmic conditions which offer the Collective multiple opportunities to better handle current issues for we must reap what's been sown in the past.

Please note that in my Political Astrology posts I work with eclipses via their degrees, themes, and historical linkages ('cosmic echoes'). The December 2019 solar eclipse is annular (not as strong as a Total would be) and is not visible in the US which also reduces the strength of its possible influences within our society. However, all eclipses are known as 'cosmic blinks' and 'wild cards of the Universe' and in similar fashion to quirky, chaotic Uranus, eclipses herald changes of direction, disruption, and the potential for secrets to be suddenly revealed. Additionally, themes of the 3 South eclipse are significant in a Plutonian way and may pack somewhat of punch in the areas ruled by governmental Capricorn, the Saturn-ruled Zodiacal sign cast into a bright cosmic spotlight (along with Moon-ruled Cancer) on into 2020, a year full of major game-changing planetary conjunctions of Saturn-Pluto, Jupiter-Pluto, and Jupiter-Saturn. jc

American Turmoil December 2019: A Fist of God forms

December 2019: America's Evolution into Turmoil

Astrologer Alice Portman has worked with the volatile and dynamic pattern called a Thor's Hammer, aka, a Fist of God, and here is a discussion of the pattern for those who are curious. As you see in the upper right horoscope pictured here, a Thor's Hammer pattern has formed in America's Secondary Progressions ('SP') with a Moon-Mars square at its base pointing toward our national progressed Midheaven, the Career-Public-Reputation-Social-Status Point (2Gem25).

As you see, America's totem planet of war and revolution, Uranus (SP @7Gem07), will be taken across our SP Midheaven in 2024 but that topic is beyond the scope of this post. Suffice to say that dramatic adjustments will be needed and major changes of direction should be expected via disruptive, chaos-loving Uranus to MC. (Note that this December 3, 2019 SP chart is based on America's July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA horoscope; a different hour will give slightly different timing.)

On the left of the chart are a few of the December 3, 2019 transits (2:00 pm est) to our SP planets (same date, same hour) including transit Uranus opposite SP Saturn, Saturn square SP Mars and conjunct SP Moon (legal eagle Saturn aggravating the Hammer), and Neptune still 'covering for' the SP Sun (the leader) with brief indications for each. You'll discover more factors, I suspect. Yet, as we know, Astrology adds the element of timing and assures us that this situation is only temporary!

But for now, we're in a pickle, but I won't mention the conditions and situations of turmoil we find ourselves in these days for you know all too well what they are. And if you look on the right center of the chart, you'll see a few general notes about the Moon-Mars square and you may agree with me that Donald Trump's selfish, nitpicking nature is described ("Offense-Defense" - Alan Oken). My observation is that a Moon-Mars square denotes someone who thinks they're the only ones who deserve to become furious!

Thing is, the Thor's Hammer (with royal Regulus and Apollo rising, he probably thinks of himself as a godlike "Thor"--and as a "hammer') pattern does a pretty good job of describing Big T as well: volatile, willful and hard to discipline as a child (plus, he still behaves like a toddler so --), and continues to act out stressful feelings by rebelling against society from which he receives severe criticism. Plus, there's no third planet to act as an outlet for the blocked, bottled up energies--only the Midheaven as noted, above, which represents the World Stage on which Trump regularly makes a dumblehead of himself while embarrassing America, lowering our national reputation even further, and subjugating our nation to pipsqueak Russia.

And so, my fellow Americans, as the Trump impeachment inquiry grinds on, we as a collective have progressed or evolved to a state described in part by a Thor's Hammer pattern and by the cosmic midpoint picture of Moon-Mars = MC: "self-promotion" and/or, "getting things off the ground" (Tyl) but also, on a lighter note, of "a woman with strong principles" (Ebertin)! Now that sounds better, doesn't it?

The RICO Act, Little Caesar, and Donald Trump

November 29, 2019: A 10-minute explanatory video R.I.C.O. and the Decline of the Mafia provides several points of interest concerning the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act that Richard Nixon signed into law on October 15, 1970.

Its nickname inspired by the main character 'Rico' in the 1931 film Little Caesar (4m clip), played by Edward G. Robinson, the RICO Act made it possible to indict not just mobsters but mob bosses as well, to seize assets, use 'guilt by association', and later to go after street gangs. RICO was first used on September 18, 1979 (US vs Scotto), and in the 'Decline of the Mafia' video you'll find references to its use by the SDNY office and Rudy Giuiliani who played for the lawful side as a prosecutor (one assumed at the time!) but is now aligned with the very mob-like Trump, a "Little Caesar" of our day, artistically pictured here.

As landmark legislation, prosecutions via the RICO Act made "rat or rot" a popular slogan of the day as 'snitches' turned on their mob bosses to avoid or lessen their own prison sentences, something Trump probably loses sleep over every night. Being snitched on has to be one of the primary reasons Big T obstructs his minions' testimonies, first in the Mueller investigation, now in the Impeachment Inquiry.

How could scofflaw Trump not suffer from consciousness of guilt with so much to hide?

But would a racketeering indictment of a corrupt, impeached, faithless, mobbed-up politician be more satisfying for the American people?

So being curious, I checked for any planetary contacts of note between Trump's natal planets (June 14, 1946 10:54 am edt Queens, NY) and those of October 15, 1970 and September 18, 1979 ('noon'). Of course, in 1970 he was 24, in 1979 the New York 'playboy' as he styled himself, was 33. What I found was inconclusive in both cases since there are a number of contacts both positive and negative, but the September 18, 1979 planets made the most contacts (including squares from Sun and Moon to natal Sun-Moon and a Neptune-conjunct-natal-Mercury contact which echoes his natal Mercury-Neptune square of fantasy, deceit, and indiscretion). An exact aspect on October 15, 1970 is Saturn quincunx natal Moon (0S00) suggesting emotional turmoil (caused by legal eagle Saturn?) and an undercurrent of guilt.

However, these results indicate to me that the RICO Act probably will not be used against Donald Trump with his decades-long links to global and domestic organized crime but if it ever is, odds are he has a chance of 'beating the rap' in spite of any rats ratting him out.
