America's only Neptune Return

Through the years in multiple SO'W posts, I've fussed about the fact that the Republican Party of 1854 experienced a Neptune Return (a three-fer to mid-Pisces: "A Lady in Fox Fur") and has shifted its identity and public image into something unrecognizable to most people. This is why we began to hear, "not your father's Republican Party" ad nauseum.

Now, I'm finally getting around to fussing about America's one and only Neptune Return - also a three-fer due to slow-moving Neptune's 164-year orbit and the gas giant's tendency to (seemingly) station and move retrograde as viewed from Earth, in its role as one of the generational or outer planets, as we call them.

Significantly during America's Neptune Return period, Solar Eclipses manifested with themes that ran in the background of society and, depending on multiple factors, influenced or perhaps disrupted earthly events as Uranian "wild cards" of the Universe, aka, "Cosmic Blinks" able to uncover secrets which shady Neptune prefers to keep hidden. Therefore, sudden peep-eyes may occur!

12 North/South, 13 North/South, 14 North/South

Now for your consideration, below is a list of Solar Eclipses that occurred between December 1937 and the end of 1939. Added to the image is a hand-written listing of the three dates that transit Neptune returned to position in our nation's July 4, 1776 Horoscope set for 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA; this timing places Cardinal World Points of manifestation upon America's MC-IC axis, and 1776 Neptune clocked in @22Vir25:08; and as you see, eclipse themes from 12 North to 14 North are listed as well; solar eclipses from those series will repeat in our era during the years 2028 and 2029; (please pardon my messiness!):

When Neptune is in the Sign of Virgo

Having nebulous Neptune in fact-based Virgo, its sign of detriment, isn't the easiest placement for the Divine Source planet, as you may agree. Undiscovered until 1846, we might assume that the Founders were unaware of the planet's tendency to undermine, subvert, erode, defraud, deceive, and such - especially with Neptune's square to US Mars in Gemini ("fog of war," confused motivation, misguided action, etc). To me it seems that our Neptune has been a mixed bag - and all three times that Neptune returned to its 1776 degree, it re-squared US Mars by transit which must have complicated and confused matters.

Plus, a primary factor with Neptune in Virgo is instability in employment conditions which the American people are overly familiar with - especially now that transit Neptune in Pisces has recently opposed US Neptune in Virgo. This major transit has brought persecution and dissolution with it, aimed at our civil and other rights, plus, a shifting of ideals and ideologies. Then with Mercury-ruled Virgo involved we should add difficult health implications including the fact that the 1937--1939 period is when adulteration of our food began, and continues today much to our detriment. Meanwhile, the losses and hardships of the Great Depression years inspired a materialistic streak within the masses (Neptune). How could it not?

Then if we add Neptune's 9th house position in our 1776 horoscope to this fuss of a consideration, we have attractions to cultism, an unfortunate tendency that has helped to sink (oceanic Neptune) our country under the hoax-like, scam-prone conditions of recent years made worse by bad faith actors working on behalf of our nation's enemies - which involves Neptunian subversion, spying, the Big Lie, and the Internet, a weblike Neptunian creation.

Now to close, you'll see notated on the image that Franklin Delano Roosevelt was president during this Neptunian time frame, while John Nance Garner IV, aka, "Cactus Jack," was Vice President. Eclipses, the Smoot-Hawley Tariffs - and Trump

Of interest may be today's MSN report Trump has 'botched' his whole tariff plan with a slip of the tongue.

But has he?

Well, as you know, the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 failed to improve the dire economic situation in the US after the "Black Tuesday" Crash of October 29, 1929; notably, the tariffs did not "protect" US farmers and other workers, as was promised. The 1930 Tariff Act was signed into law by President Herbert Hoover on June 17, 1930 under the auspices of a 4 North Solar Eclipse of restraint, restriction, and illusion. "Liberation": from our money and savings?

Fast forward to a few days prior to Tr*mp's so-called "Liberation Day" of April 2, 2025 when he announced in the (Venusian) Rose Garden a long list of risky tariffs on imports from countries around the globe (but not on Russia). It turns out that his announcement of tariffs is cosmically imprinted by the third of three Jupiter Returns to the "Black Tuesday" Crash Horoscope of 1929, and this creates a cosmic time link between 1929/1930 financial concerns and those of 2025.

Plus, money bags/corporate Jupiter's return to its 1929 degree (@15Gem25) perfected the day prior to the difficult 9 New North Solar Eclipse @9Aries on March 29, 2025 with themes of accidents or great physical effort (ex: Senator Cory Booker's 25-hour+ marathon speech on the Senate floor).

Shown below are two solar eclipse horoscopes which manifested in two different Saros Series but in the same degree ("8 Taurus"). When this circumstance occurs, the earlier and later eclipse themes may combine, particularly if societal conditions and events warrant it, and their blended themes may 'run in the background of society'. For as we know, history can rhyme with the repetition of similar events resurfacing to be better or more successfully dealt with. Or not! Because all eclipses are karmic "wild cards" and are Uranian in that disruptive, bolt from the blue sort of way.

In 1930: Saturn-Pluto = Uranus: "Brutal efforts to start a new order" (N.Tyl). This planetary trio actually forms a dynamic T-Square with radical reactionary Uranus at critical degree and apex in the 8th house of Shared Resources and Transformation - see their midpoint picture at the bottom of the 1930 chart, highlighted in blue.

Now I'm uncertain how much clearer the current-day saboteurs' motives can be considering the "carnage" being perpetrated upon American society and on the rest of the globe with a worldwide economic crash being feared along with unwanted government reforms. However, there is a bright ray of hope to be found in the 2 Old North Eclipse chart of 1892 and it's due to the fact that 2 Old North happens to be the Prenatal Eclipse ("PE") of tariff-lover Mr. Trump, and its theme extends to us the possibility that, though things seem "glum" at first from the receipt of unfortunate news (the tariffs), fast action can bring positive results. This we can hope for!

Yet realistically, there are too many factors in play to be certain at the moment, but the potential of improvement has assisted the orange fellow all through his charmed life. And yes, with his usual overblown risk-taking tendencies, he promises much increase from these tariffs so all we can do now is wait and see if the glumness everyone feels will lift, or if it tosses us all away.

USA and the Saturn-Neptune Cycle

As you know, there are multiple potentials (quite a mixed bag) that can express via the Saturn-Neptune pairing. Within their 33-to-36-year cycle, the two planets meet once again in Great Conjunction on February 20, 2026 @00Ari45, the Aries Point of World Events. Their current cycle began in 1989 with three exact conjunctions in the Zodiacal range of 10--12 degrees of Saturn-ruled Capricorn.

Their placements in Capricorn suggest possibilities such as industry, a strong will, realism, truth, self-restraint, diplomacy, endurance, one-sidedness, slow advncement, economy, egocentrism (Saturn), plus, success through crooked means, strange objectives, delving into religious problems, deep research, people with little sense of reality, secrets, subversion, liquids, fumes, gases, poisons (Neptune).

Then depending on which technique we prefer for three-fer returns and conjunctions, and because a fresh conjunction arrives next year, I'd say that we are now operating within the third phase of the pairing which began with the November 13, 1989 Conjunction @10Cap22. This chart is shown as the outermost horoscope in the following tri-wheel and it's the DC Horoscope operative until their next conjunction on February 20, 2026 at Aries Point (2026 chart shown, below):

Saturn-Neptune Meet February 20, 2026:

So here's a partial list of potential expressions of the Saturn-Neptune duo when their energies combine; any, all, or none may apply or may alternate expression:

Social safety net programs, Socialism and other forms of -isms in government, delusions among leadership, inefficient use of capable advice, policies that restrict spies, using and hiding lies and deception, false hopes that lead to nothing, secret or invisible government, weakness, depression, pessimism, and/or illness, mistaken religious leaders, uncovering or restricting fraud, continuing detrimental practices, regrets, denial of responsibility, utilizing illusion, shabby practices, neglect in society, abandoning responsibility, an illusion of respectability, breaking through existing circumstances toward "the dream", loss via dissolution, erosion, or theft, martyrdom, a sense of being wronged, losing focus, Earth and Water events - and the list goes on and on when restrictive Saturn and urge to merge Neptune act as a "team" (Oken; Ebertin; Munkasey; Tyl), their energies heightened at Conjunciton.

Then as you know, both planets are considered karmic in nature due to Saturn's orbit lasting 28--30 years, while pokey pup Neptune takes 164 years to complete an orbit. Meanwhile, inadequately addressed conditions and neglected problems pile up until they must surface. Yes, events feel as if they come from the outside, but the issues have been with us all along, often bubbling on a back burner.

Now additionally, there are basic concerns about the upcoming Saturn-Neptune Conjunction in 2026 because of the last few years and it's the fact that the planets meet during what will likely be Year Two of the second go-round of Mr.T. "manning" America's helm with finger on The Button, a convicted felon and figurehead in the US of a global Underworld network of crooks and looters (Neptune-Pluto). Concerns include delusions and illusions (Neptune) about authority figures (Saturn). And as we've seen, running the American Ship of State aground is the aim of our enemies, domestic and foreign, and they must be stopped. Yet now that the fox is in the henhouse again, it will be complicated. Some folks are calling for the impeachment of Mr. T., a valiant effort which could boost Democrats at Midterms 2026.

Of course, all of the difficulties have been the case for years now but as a new cycle of Saturn-Neptune begins, we may expect the gaslighting, lies, and fraud to increase, both here and abroad, along with a potential for societal events to manifest, perhaps some weather-related - any of which may trigger hysteria (R. Ebertin) within sections of the population.

Now here are a few general astro-notes concerning Saturn in Pisces where the lesson bringer planet of Old Age, accountability, fears and flaws hangs out until 2026. And you know how Neptune, floating through in its own sign of shady Pisces, has timed a period of contagion, confusion, mass migration and delusion - and fears and paranoia.

Mercury Rx and the Midlife Crisis of Kash Patel

When it comes to political nominations and the announcement of them, of note is the current Mercury Retrograde period ("Rx," which began November 25, 2024 @22Sag40 conjunct the natal Moon-South-Node conjunction of Mr. T, his cosmic signature of bad timing, emotional alienation, and lack of popularity - as are his grifter nominations in the views of a majority of the country). This is also a Mercury-opposite-natal-Sun transit for Mr. T which denotes a time of differing opinions, disagreements, and a potential for ego bruising.

Then Mercury, planet of ideas, plans, communications, commerce, tricks, decisions, nominations, and announcements, in retrograde motion suggests withdrawals such as that of Matt Gaetz, and difficulties and/or delays getting nominees through the confirmation process, if not outright rejections (ex: Rick Scott). You'll find a Mercury Rx-Direct-Shadow Tri-Wheel of 2024 into 2025 shown, below.

The point is that a Mercury Rx period is an unfavorable time for decisions, nominations, or announcements which may need to be retracted at some point. Mr. T's nominations for power positions for his favorite grifters and the unsavory seem rather ham-handed to me but of course, thievery, revenge, cruelty, and the collapse of US society and government are their aims, at the command of fascistic enemies of America, both foreign and domestic.

FBI Director Patel? Weaponization and Revenge Not Law and Order

Here is a 'noon' natal Horoscope for Kash Patel born February 25, 1980 in Garden City, New York; a few astro-notes follow:

As you see, natal Mercury is stationing and about to turn Rx while opposing natal Saturn. Both planets square his Neptune in Sagittarius creating a dynamic T-Square, yet it's Jupiter Rx in Virgo - closely conjunct Mars Rx - that forms a Mutual Reception relationship with Mercury meaning that the two planets are on friendly terms. Together the planetary pair tends toward expansive ideas and plans, and have likely inspired his extensive merchandising and promotional schemes. Plus, some form of misjudgment may possibly occur if perspectives are overly grand - especially considering his Mercury-Neptune square of misperception, deception, fantasy, and lack of discrimination.

This is a cosmic echo of the very same natal aspect regularly used by indiscreet fantasist extraordinaire Mr. T, he of the Big Lie. Therefore, we can expect Mr. Patel to be challenged in the secrets-keeping department - and with the sense of national insecurity this brings.

A Grand "Deep State" Conspiracy Theorist

At first, having shared interests and aims, things are on the sympatico side for them, but strong personalities will soon show through tension, friction, differing values (1946 vs 1980), quarrels, plus, both men will be determined to dominate in their relationship and on certain issues. Yet naturally, the power dynamic of boss-underling makes clear who will "win" the battle for domination whether Mr. Patel makes it as Director of the FBI or not.

For those who use a late afternoon July 4, 1776 Moon of We the People in late Aquarius, our mundane Luna was 'eclipsed' by the 1980 Solar Eclipse suggesting psychic awareness but with a potential that skeptics will refuse to learn from past mistakes (R. Lineman). As you know, America now has a bunch of such folks, including in relation to the first election of Mr. Reagan - a president whom some folks continue to idolize despite his destructive economic policies of the greedy 1980s which favored and continue to favor the wealthy class wherever neo-liberalism's "trickle down" policies hold sway.

18 South Themes: endings, partings, separations which may include grief or anguish; yet eventual outcomes can be positive (paraphrasing B. Brady). The last 18 South manifested @19Pisces on March 9, 2016, an eventful year for Kash; the next 18S will occur March 20, 2034 @30Pisces which amounts to a Spring Equinox 2034 Solar Eclipse as was the Spring Equinox 2015 Eclipse that timed Mr. T's prez bid ride down the golden escalator. And both eclipses conjunct the fixed star of extreme misfortune, Scheat.

Meanwhile, the planetary aspects operative during Mr. Patel's Prenatal Eclipse of 1980 reveal traits within the environment into which Baby Kashyap was born:

Uranus square Eclipse: indifference to the needs of humanity, lack of care or concern for society; radical or rebellious activities; Pluto trine Eclipse: spiritually, Kash Patel knows better and was raised with Hindu values; Saturn inconjunct Eclipse: an immature, ne'er-do-well freeloader with hard-to-break habits (R. Transit Uranus Opposing Natal Uranus: Midlife Crisis

Naturally, all transits and progressions to an individual's planets should be considered for a fuller picture, however, a major transit, a first-ever affair, is ongoing for Mr. Patel and was exact in early November 2024. It's transit Uranus @24Taurus (conjunct Mr. T's natal Midheaven of Aspirations, Public Status, and Career) opposing Patel's natal Uranus in Scorpio (conjunct Mr. T's natal IC of Endings).

Everyone has a midlife transit, timed by behavioral planet Uranus, and marking a period of uncharacteristic behavior which can surprise others (ex: the family SUV guy splurges on a red convertible), plus there tends to be generational clashes, and restlessness. Then a new, unusual, or unorthodox phase of life may begin. Notably, Patel's Uranus in Scorpio tends to behave fearlessly and ruthlessly, and can get self and others into dangerous situations (R. Ebertin). We also can note that his Uranus conjunction with Mr. T's natal IC is possibly one of their friction points considering mundane Uranus' tendency to disrupt and/or reform, sometimes irrationally.

Now on the personality level, Mr. Patel's double Water Sun Pisces-Moon Cancer blend reveals him to be ultra-sensitive, moody, and highly imaginative. In closing, here's an appropriate quote by a famous jurist who shares Mr. Patel's natal blend, Justice Earl Warren:

Below is a dual image of two horoscopes: South Africa - Constitution (lower left; source Dr. Liz Greene), and the 14 North Solar Eclipse (upper right) in which South Africa became a constitutional entity. 14N themes are listed thereupon and include "a peculiar turn of events; confusion; despair" (B. Brady).

Then upper right corner you'll find a few notes such as the last 14N Eclipse which occurred on November 25, 2011 @2Sag36 and became known in the US as The Sequestration Eclipse when Congress formed a so-called "Super Congress" of chicanery meant to enforce austerity upon the American people in this, the richest country in the world. With their unorthodox way of "cutting the budget", it goes without saying that Republicans (now Libertarians) were behind the sinister push in 2011 just as they are in 2024 into 2025. Subversion then, subversion now.

Apartheid and Austerity

Please Note: due to my ongoing relocation to a different apartment, my online time since last week has been sparse so pardon me for plopping these two horoscopes here with little more than the astro-notes I've penned on them. Except to say that the charts may be useful to a student or an astrologer or two, and that apartheid South Africa is where Elon Musk ("Leon"!) grew up until the ripe old age of 17 years. Nowadays, as the richest man in the world, as I'm told, he's part of the maga agenda to crash America's economy and global financial systems with it - like "Bond villains"! - ostensibly to destroy the US dollar and thereby institute a crypto-currency system, no matter who gets hurt or who starves to death. For as everyone knows, during times of extreme chaos, massive reforms can be enforced that otherwise could never occur.

Because as I've fussed for years on SO'W, Tr*mp's cult of personality is a death cult echoing how the Nazis in Germany behaved back in the 1930s and 1940s - until the criminals were stopped in their tracks.

See Musk says Americans will have to face "hardship" if Trump wins. What self-destructive fools will vote for that? In cosmic terms, "hardship" is a facet of the harsh, compressive Saturn-Pluto pairing of evil which you'll remember met in Great Conjunction on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 - conjunct the natal Vertex (22:51) of Herr Trump, a point of fated encounters.

Significantly for South Africa, Apartheid legislation was repealed on June 17, 1991 and bi-racial elections were held in April 1994.

Now in closing, you may wish to have a glance at the B-rated natal chart of Elon Reeve Musk, if you haven't already. You'll see his Sun @5Can53 rising with the Ascendant in South Africa's constitutional horoscope, shown above, and his natal Moon @8Virgo opposed by Saturn @9Pisces, the victim-savior axis in the same 1994 chart. Yet knowing little about the erratic fellow born during a Saturn-Neptune opposition (possible criminal tendencies? A. Oken), El*n was about 23 years old in 1994 yet I'm uncertain exactly how or if these contacts matter very much, but there it is. What I do know is that when Saturn opposes natal Moon it's a very depressive, oppressive, melancholy period of time in anyone's life.

Then in addition, if you've never watched the brief video concerning Herr Adolf's vision for world domination known as Germania, it's recommended viewing. Because, you see, total control is what these modern-day barbarians are trying again to accomplish - at the expense of everyone in the world.

Not Another Govt Shutdown!

House Speaker Mike Johnson has set a vote on funding which would push back on yet another (Republican) Government Shutdown. Yet Mr. Johnson is admitting that the situation is iffy.

Remember 2020 when Mr. T instigated a Christmas Government Shutdown? A December Full Moon in Cancer had spotlighted his natal 11th house Mercury @8Can51 And of course, we all know way too well about the old fella's Mercury-Neptune square of deception, fantasy, lack of discrimination - and his sneaky mind (A. Oken). His Gish gallop of lies and propaganda comes with the square for free - such a deal!

Meanwhile, Election 2024 is upon us, and some political wags are saying that Republicans will vote the keep the government open because they don't want to be tarred and feathered by a Tr*mp shutdown just prior to November 5th. Plus, the Senate won't play along in any case, and this limitation may be symbolized by lawmaker Saturn Rx @14Pis40 conjunct the 1854 Neptune of the Republican Party - the grim face of reality transit.

And so another government shutdown may or may not occur this year, but I thought as a dear reader you might wish to view a Horoscope just in case: October 1, 2024 12:01 am edt Washington DC; notable are the several fixed stars conjunct planets:

The hope I cling to is that the 8 South Eclipse degree of 10Libra falls snugly within Mr. T's natal Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio of grand schemes, grifts, and speculation in his 2nd house of Money, Values, Possessions, and Earning Ability.

However, we know that the loss and separation of a government shut down would, as usual, land upon - not just scheming politicians - but on the furloughed and laid-off workers affected, and all of us who depend upon the US government to fulfill its many tasks in a timely manner, automated and otherwise.

DNC Aug 19, 2024: Visions and Dreams!

As you know, today is the first day of DNC 2024 in Chicago, Ilinois, under the auspices of April 2024's 8 North Solar Eclipse @19Ari24 conjunct priestly Chiron (19:24), the Christ archetype in Astrology. This repetition of 8 North is the third of our Great American Eclipses with themes of "visions, vivid dreams, inventiveness, flashes of genius, good ideas, new-found inspiration; freedom is needed for a few days" (B. Brady).

Here you see a bi-wheel of the natal horoscope of VP Kamala Harris (inner), who will accept the Democratic Party's nomination for president on Thursday evening (8/22), and the 8 North Eclipse Horoscope (outer) set for Chicago, Illinois:

For this post, the 8 North Eclipse chart is set for Chicago because of the location of DNC 2024 this week and DNC 2024 themes - her themes (listed, below) - and because locating the visionary 8 North Eclipse there places VP Harris' natal Moon (opposite her natal Sun: she's a Gibbous phase lady) atop the Midheaven ('MC'), the Career and Public Status Point. Plus, mundane Moon = publicity and the public mood. Moon in Aries is a very eager placement!

When Joe Biden stepped down from his 2024 Campaign, he catapulted America into a new generation of politicians thereby fulfilling his early promise to be a bridge between generations! This resonates with Biden's natal Saturn (old)/Uranus (new) conjunction in Gemini (sign of youth), and interestingly, Chiron (the rainbow bridge!) has been traveling all snugged between transit Saturn and Uranus: Chiron = Saturn-Uranus - as the centaur is today. You can't make this stuff up!

And wouldn't it be amazing if the Great American Eclipse of April 8, 2024 conjunct Chiron (both @19Ari24, Aries: sign of the fearless pioneer), operative until the 8 South Eclipse manifests October 2nd @10libra, actually spotlighted for us this generational shift in US politics? For as you know, VP Kamala Harris and Grandpa Tr*mp are one generation apart which makes his nibs the oldest candidate in the race, if he can hang on until November. And why not? After all, the 2024 race has become a Prosecutor vs Perpetrator affair, so why would a lifelong fraudster want to miss that? Do you ever get the feeling that Kamala Harris has been Joe Biden's ace up his sleeve since Day One?

Meanwhile, two names of Kamala Harris' potential VP picks have floated to the top of a long list: Gov Andy Beshear (D-KY) and Sen Mark Kelly (D-AZ).

Governor Beshear speaks with what has been described as a comforting "Kentucky Blue Grass" accent and has created for himself an impressive resume of working for the people of his home state as their governor, while former astronaut Senator Kelly has a resume of service and heroism as long as anyone's arm.

Of course, these are not the only possible choices for 2024 candidate Harris' running mate but they've been mentioned and are worthy of consideration here. However, I'm actually working today to complete a different post with interruptions in my real world scheduled in a while, so let's base this brief consideration on the Solar Eclipse energies and themes that run in the background of Beshear's and Kelly's lives - the Eclipse Saros Series into which each fellow was born.

Actually, this post is intended to display a noon natal horoscope for Peter Thiel, born in Germany on October 11, 1967, grew up in the US, and takes on the role of a wealthy behind-the-scenes meddler in US politics. Perhaps you remember that Thiel's RNC 2016 speech was somewhat unusual but so was the Republican conference with its Russian influences and Capricorn Full Moon conjunct US 1776 Pluto.

Added below Thiel's noon chart are a few notes concerning the Prenatal Solar Eclipse Saros Series ('PE') into which Baby Thiel was born:

Mercury with Mars = Politics

Planetary details from the horoscope, above, include a midpoint picture that was operative no matter the hour of birth: Sun = Mercury-Pluto making Thiel a keen observer with a need for recognition. So anyone who reads the GOP agenda for 2025 can see that misery, suffering, and loss are what they offer - and their lawless dystopia may be brought to us all by Americans who are self-destructive or careless enough to vote Republican on November 5, 2024. It seems that a hardhearted Christian Nationalism has thrown deceptive sand in their eyes, as we know by the constant gaslighting from a power-mad authoritarian GOP determined to rule the US for decades. Not govern. Just rule like kings.

Meanwhile, planetary aspects to Peter Thiel's 5 North Eclipse of October 11, 1967 may be instructive:

Mercury conjunct shows a need for reasoning and logic, and may have health connotations (Mercury in sexy Scorpio, sign of surgery); Mars inconjunct denotes a family history which may include physical abuse (perhaps taken out on little Peter?); Neptune opposed denotes confusion, cloudiness, and chaos-creation within the realms of a truth vs fiction, reality vs fantasy atmosphere. As it turns out - and it may mean something or nothing but it does at least partially rhyme with current events - on October 11, 1719 the Philippines' Governor-General Bastillo was assassinated. Therefore, the cosmic time link (1967 to 1719) is suggestive but not conclusive; however, Thiel's birth basically may be said to symbolize a Solar Return to the violent action of 1719 so you may wish to see Wikipedia's Events of 1719 for more potential correlations with our era.

DNC and RNC 2024: Significant Lunations

Great American Eclipse 2024 Sponsors Both DNC and RNC 2024: Dreams/Visions

According to details on the DNC 2024 Convention, the event is scheduled to be held from August 19 to August 22, 2024 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. On the first day of the convention, a Full Moon perfects upon America's Aquarian Moon (in the July 4, 1776 late afternoon Horoscope) with "28AQ" = "A Tree Felled and Sawed." This Aquarian Moon (1776 and 2024) is opposed by Tr*mp's natal Mars rising which describes agent orange's aggressive targeting of We the People. So here's DNC 2024's Full Moon Horoscope with a few of my study notes penned on:

RNC July 2024 then DNC August 2024

Recently we Moon-tracked RNC 2024 (July 15--18, 2024: Moon from Scorpio to Sag). The DNC 2024 Moon (from 12:00 am CDT on August 19th to the midnight hour of August 22, 2024), begins in Aquarius and floats through Pisces into Aries. Not that political events tend to occur in the middle of the night, of course, but because the mundane Moon's signs and aspects provide information concerning the moods, trends, and feeling nature of the public as a convention proceeds from opening to closing day, and perhaps a few minutes before and after.

At DNC 2024, by entering Aries, the Moon crosses the Aries Point (of global events) and the North Node of public contact (7Aries+) along her way - and while in mystical Pisces, status quo Saturn and urge-to-merge Neptune will be met. To me this suggests that topics such as our social safety net programs are on the party's agenda via the Saturn-Neptune combination.

Add this to the Full Moon conjunct 1776 Moon in the humanitarian sign of Aquarius, and cosmic conditions point toward democracy's capacity to once again vanquish the brutality of the fascism offered by the anti-American GOP and their figurehead, agent orange, dictator-wannabe and convicted felon.

At least, that's the fight I hope the Democratic Party has and is prepared for. And We the People must join the fight by Voting Blue in November!

Meanwhile, within both conventions presidential nominations will be proposed, the primary objective of national conventions, expectably occurring during the final evening with DNC Moon in Aries (RNC 2024 Moon in late Sagittarius), along with multiple speeches, an acceptance speech by the nominee, and other events. But our focus with this post is primarily on the mood of the public which includes that of convention attendees and viewers at home (voters), with publicity of and during the conventions part of the cosmic lunar picture.

Death Cult's Moon 2017 Returns in 2024

For context, when we Moon-Tracked RNC 2024, Luna ranged from 7 Scorpio to 28 Sagittarius (crossing Trump's natal Moon-South-Node conjunction of fluctuating popularity). And perhaps you remember the position of the Inauguration 2017 Moon @9Sco21 so there will be a Lunar Return during RNC 2024 for Trumpers who fantasize about that 2017 feeling, deluded folks as they are. As you know, a Scorpio Moon suggests 'fighting for survival' issues along with the fabled moodiness of Scorpio and the potential for betrayal concerns. Additionally, Trump will experience a Lunar Return during RNC 2024 which for him always denotes a Moon-to-South-Node transit--not the best indicator for good timing or for popularity. Plus, for his nibs, every single Lunar Return is always a Moon-opposite-natal-Sun transit as well, so naturally relationships are involved.

Political Conventions in 2020 Restricted by Covid-19

Nostalgically, another cosmic comparison is when we Moon-Tracked DNC and RNC in 2020 which you'll recall were held virtually due to Covid-19. Even so, the DNC Moon of July 13, 2020 began her journey in pioneering Aries, while the RNC 2020 Moon of August 24th began her travels in--you guessed it--Scorpio, yet another echo of Inauguration 2017's Scorpio Moon.

DNC August 2024 - in Chicago!

Now perhaps you'll agree that the Democratic Party seems brave (or stupid!) to hold their 2024 Convention in the same city as in 1968 considering the upheaval and violence that erupted in Chicago (staged by opponents for the most part--I watched it on my TV: hired thugs). So here's a previous post concerning the solar and lunar background influences of that time via 1968 solar eclipses which have already repeated in 2022 and that is likely a moderating factor for 2024.

Plus, in 2024, came the visionary 8 North Solar Eclipse of April 8, 2024 holding sway over both conventions, as noted, and it's the third of three Total Great American Eclipses. Orwell, Reagan, and Trump

In case you missed it: The Guardian's article concerning author-essayist-journalist George Orwell (nee Eric Blair) and his travails while writing his disturbingly prescient novel 1984 is the most enlightening account of the events leading up to the novel that I've ever run across. Do check it out if you haven't.

Yet admittedly, I have sometimes wondered aloud if the hideous dystopian conditions of the future that 1984 prophesied have been used, not as a warning, but as a blueprint for sinister actors to follow including the miscreants and criminals of our era with you-know-who among them since he acts as ringleader of their Maga circus. And perhaps we both know that "George Orwell" was born into a Balsamic phase of the Moon, the "dark of the moon" phase, which often births prophets into our Earthly flux.

Additionally, Orwell's double Sun-Moon Cancer conjunct Neptune signature added deep psychic energies to his talent for intuiting the future, and included what I suspect were concerns for the human family and the social order. Yet Neptune also provided the illusory quality of inspiration expressed during his creative writing career, with Neptunian loss and instability also major features of his life. Contagion, too. Robber Baron Spawn Meddle in Politics

Now in previous SO'W posts, you might have read complaints about the Organized Crime/Underworld Gangster duo, Neptune and Pluto and the way the pair's Great Conjunction/s of 1891 and 1892 landed upon America's 1776 Uranus (8Gem55), radical planet of revolt, zealotry, anarchy, chaos, separation, shocks, and reform. The midpoint picture the trio constellated remains operative since the Neptune-Pluto Cycle lasts for approximately 492/3 years meaning that current generations are mired within its continuing influences, and obviously, none of us will live to experience their next Great Conjunction. Eclipses Repeat, History Rhymes

Now in this post my focus is upon the difficult 4 South Eclipse Series because of its themes and because it repeated in our day as the Electoral College Vote Eclipse of December 14, 2020, directly influencing Trump's use of his Big Lie, a cuss'ed fallacy that has been stuck in our craws ever since. Plus, Herr Donald certainly employs what Orwell called "doublespeak" in multiple ways! So basically, the 4 South of December 2020 is the "Trump part" of this Eclipse overview.

4 South Themes: Strong emotional feelings over relationships and/or money; relationship events are beyond individual control; blocked emotions lead to great frustration; a sudden desire to end alliances; avoid rash action until issues settle down (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad).

1984 Bursts Upon the Scene to Instant Success

Fittingly, we should note that, although 1984 was completed by November 30, 1948 under 4 South influences (as listed, above), the novel was published in Britain on June 8, 1949 under a less dire 5 North Solar Eclipse with themes of sudden flashes of ideas with a psychic flavor to them; hunches, visions, prophetic dreams; a truly creative series (B. Brady). As you see, 5 North themes echo the "dreams and visions" theme of the current 8 North Eclipse of April 8, 2024 which suggests yet another cosmic time link for any reader to ponder.

Eclipses of 1948 Include 4 South

On November 1, 1948, the 4 South Eclipse @8Sco43:44 manifested as Orwell feverishly worked - in bed - to complete his manuscript and send it to his London publisher by "early December" (which he did). And although there was hope for his recuperation, a blood vessel in his lungs burst and he succumbed to tuberculosis (TB) during the early morning hours of January 21, 1950, age 46. In recent years, speculation has emerged that "George Orwell" may have contracted TB while in hospital recovering from a gunshot wound he sustained during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). Neptune infects, Neptune slowly brings loss.

Eclipses of 1984 Include 4 South

The re-election of Ronald Reagan was held on November 6, 1984 under the auspices of the 4 North Eclipse of May 30, 1984 @9Gem26 conjunct US 1776 Uranus which spotlights the era's zealots, anarchists, and radical reformers. 4 North themes include restraint, restriction, separations, and illusions. Then 16 days after the 1984 election, a 4 South Eclipse occurred, not quite within the 14-day orb of influence of the 1984 election but significant early on within his second term, nonetheless. And it was the fabled year of 1984 which the two astrology-buffs in the White House undoubtedly knew about just as the rest of us did. That the year had arrived was, in fact, in the news.

So perhaps we can agree that Americans need and prefer progressive improvements but authoritarian Trump offers none of that - only regression, grudge-holding revenge, cruelty, mayhem, destruction, kleptocracy, theocracy, strong-armed paternalism, arrests, purges and worse, starvation, mass deportation, the collapse of American society as we know it, and the irrational head-against-brick-wall urge to re-create a glowing past that never existed - it's a fantasy, a spin intended to scam the gullible, and make America's enemies ecstatic with glee. Now naturally, we know that it's white supremacy and its big brother, Naz*i Aryanism, that the Maga-ites long for, in order to implement Naz*sm in America of all places! Well, read George Orwell's Nineteen-Eighty-Four if you haven't, but not on a dark night.

So in closing, I'll add a couple of things: that it's plain as day that Trump's dark vision for global domination is precisely the dystopian future that George Orwell presciently warned the world against all those Balsamic moons ago. Now here's a still-timely quote from the legendary author himself:

"One could not have a better example of the moral and emotional shallowness of our time than the fact that we are all more or less pro Stalin. This disgusting murderer is temporarily on our side, and so the purges, etc., are suddenly forgotten."

Campaign 2024: The Biden-Trump Debates

The lack of Live audiences for both the June 27th and September 10th Biden-Trump debates will favor the quietly spoken President Biden while Trump's habitual bombastic overtalks and disruptive allegations will have not their usual usefulness for creating skewed sound bites. Lies from either debater will be called out by moderators, one hopes, making the events closer to what debates once were when policies and facts were stars of the show.

If this is accomplished, American voters will be informed on the issues prior to Election Day 2024 - what a grand idea! Plus, differences between the characters of the two men will be made obvious for the confused voter, and for those who stay busy working to pay bills and care for their families. Meanwhile, both debaters are seniors so the playing field on that score is level and therefore, moot.

Of course, this is if a certain felonious debater doesn't pull out prematurely because he and his staffers realize their mistake agreeing to such debate conditions. In his podcast episode from May, The Mop-Up's David Feldman says as much as he discusses Why Trump Will Lose Both Debates to Biden along with other topics and news of the day (#1550 audio only, shown below). David is known to be plain-spoken so beware if your feelings are easily trampled!

As agent orange lurked in the people's White House playing POTUS, year 2019 opened with a significant Solar Eclipse in the 2 South Saros Series @15Cap25:02, and if we use the First Vote for Independence Horoscope of July 1, 1776, aka, the Powell Horoscope of America, the Eclipse landed upon - "eclipsed" - the Powell Moon, symbol of We the People - as independence and freedom from oppression were demanded.

Actually, this cosmic synchronicity (Sun-Moon conjunct Moon) gave many Americans the intuitive ability to realize on a deep level what authoritarians were up to and to understand what must be done, while others compounded our nation's karmic debt by repeating mistakes of the past - or by trying to (ex: the Naz*s desire for world domination via brutality and theft). So recognizing that some folks have referred to the J6 coup attempt as "the storm" or "a storming, below you see an unmarked version of the 2 South Eclipse of January 5, 2019, aka, "The Storm" Eclipse based on its future direction North Node's rounded-up Sabian Symbol, "A Storm in a Canyon"; negative potential = "fatuous enjoyment of turmoil" (M. Perhaps we can agree that turmoil, chaos, and disruption are precisely the tactics that Uranian Trump likes to create and use against us for like Naz*s in the olden days, such conditions create the best period of time for reforms to be more easily implemented - distasteful, dystopian, undemocratic, and anti-American as his so obviously are:

Events of 2019

Multiple events in 2019 relate to issues of freedom and independence. One such involves the INF Treaty (Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty) which was signed by Reagan and Gorbachev on December 8, 1987 at the White House under the influence of a 7 South Eclipse with themes of Mars-Pluto power issues. The INF was set to expire on August 2, 2019 but earlier on February 1, 2019, now-felony-convicted Trump confirmed that the US had withdrawn from the INF citing Russian non-compliance. Next day, Russia withdrew from the Treaty as well, and considering Trump's close tie with authoritarian Putin, one might reaonably expect that their withdrawals were coordinated.

Obviously, this freed Putin and Trump on the nuclear level to act as they wish by failing to renew the 1987 aggreement and by not signing a new version. Of course, in 2022 Putin invaded Ukraine and is destroying the country as best his massive ego can.

July 2024: Trump Sentenced - then RNC 2024

By now everyone has heard that yesterday, May 30, 2024, Trump was convicted of all charges (guilty on 34 counts) by a jury of his peers in the Manhattan, NY courtroom of Judge Juan Merchan who then announced that the sentencing of "C.F. Trump" is scheduled for July 11, 2024 at 10:00 am edt.

Saturn: The Old Man of Karma

Naturally, there are multiple factors worth noting in the charts (exs: RNC 2024 Sun conjunct Herr T's natal Saturn with issues of authority and reliability. As you know, Saturn is the planet of karma, legalities, limits, flaws. Asteroid Justicia conjuncts his natal Mercury, and Justice-bringer Astraea conjuncts his natal Mars.

Mars-Uranus: Risk and Danger

However, my main focus in this post, due to his nibs' propensity for instructing his thugs and cult menbers toward committing violent acts, is the Mars-Uranus duo conjunct enraged star, Algol which twinkles upon the Midheaven of CFT's 1946 natal chart - how furious he must be - and how saturated with plans for taking revenge upon anyone who opposes him or stands in his way. And yes, this is a deadly situation particularly if he manages to coup the White House in November.

Then as you know, Inauguration Day 2021 saw a Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 (3:38 pm est). Notably, in the above charts we find a disturbing midpoint picture: Mars-Uranus = his natal MC with potentials for: taking drastic measures; a pistol to the head; violence; injury (R. Ebertin).

Reaping the Consequences

So both July events fall under the influence of the 8 North ("dreams and visions"-- B. Brady) Great American Eclipse of April 8, 2024 @19Ari24 conjunct wounded Chiron (also @19Ari24). Then is C.F. Trump wounded? Yes. But so is America, thanks to our nation's enemies, foreign and domestic, working against democracy under the gnatzie-style leadership of a man now known as Convicted Felon Trump. Also, both events have the same Syzygy Moon @14Cancer - conjunct starry Sirius, The Scorcher.

What I detest the most about this entire "Shakespearean" drama is that the degradation of old man Trump is simultaneously the degradation of every one of our three branches of government. In one way or another, he's managed to sabotage them all, much to our enemies' delight. And the treasonous plan of career criminals is ongoing.

And significantly, the previous Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017, his first year playing POTUS, landed directly upon Trump's natal Ascendant @29Leo and rising Regulus (success if revenge is avoided) and you'll remember how he famously removed his safety glasses and looked directly up at the eclipsed Sun multiple times, future blindness be dam*ed. But I suppose when you're born with regal Regulus and Apollo "the sun god" rising along with your brash Mars in royal Leo, you brazenly assume that you can get away with a stupid stunt like that and, with regal aplomb, you'll never have to reap the consequences.

Trump Trial May 30-31, 2024

Today's court session in Manhattan is symbolized by the 9:30 am edt horoscope (lower left) while tomorrow's session (assuming there is one) is shown (upper right) in this dual image:

A few of my study notes are sprinkled about and, as you see, the currently operative Great American Eclipse in the 8 North Saros Series (@19Ari24; April 8, 2024) will top the chart on Friday May 31st with its "dreams and visions" themes in The Goal Point position.

Meanwhile, wounded healer Chiron's presence - also a symbol of a blindspot - continues, and I believe is one of the 'stars' of this legal situation as a lifelong criminal is finally held to account and representing America's wound (racism and all!) - yet for some citizens, Chiron in Aries is their blindspot. Plus, transit Chiron is within process of America's Chiron Return (20Ari08) this very year. Importantly, Chiron also symbolizes the Christ archetype in Astrology which brings in the religious contentiousness now occurring in the US.

Saturn-Neptune: the illness axis of depressed, needy people

Significantly, both days contain Saturn-Neptune with Moon connotations although in a different order from today until Friday and the midpoint pictures' potentials are penned next to each horoscope. A notable cosmic echo is the fact that Baby Donald was born with ASC = Saturn-Neptune (oppressive environment) and now at trial there are strong suggestions of pathological depression, pessimism, and despair involved.

As you've heard, news sources are reporting that the Biden-Trump Debates of 2024 will he held in Atlanta, Georgia at CNN headquarters on June 27, 2024 9:00 pm, televised but with no Live audience, while the second debate is set for September 10, 2024 to be hosted on-air by ABC News, streaming via the ABC News app, and on Hulu.

So despite the possibility that the debate schedule could change or be canceled all together, here are the two Debate Horoscopes with my messy notes penned on.

Lower left is Debate #1 set for June 27, 2024 Atlanta, Georgia, and upper right is Debate #2 announced for September 10, 2024; both events occur under the influence of the Total 8 North 'Great American Eclipse' of dreams and visions, plus, transit Pluto at a critical degree dips back into Capricorn in time for the second debate while transit Neptune is at critical degree during the first debate and is final dispositor of both charts:

The Public Mood: Sagittarius, Then Pisces

Marked on the charts you'll find brief notes concerning the public mood, primarily a reference to the American people. Both signs for Luna suggest moodiness and other difficult conditions which may alternate between positive and negative.

Debating Mercury in Cancer, Then Virgo

In June, Mercury the messenger planet travels through Moon-ruled Cancer where patriotism, nationalism, tribalism, rhetoric, commerce, security, and self-protection tend to express. We should note that Cancer is the sign of Trump's natal Mercury which always ties in his problematic Mercury-Neptune square.

Then in September, speedy Mercury in Virgo is all about facts, details, logic, research, practicality, criticism, and/or cooperation. Notably, President Biden's natal Mercury is in deep-thinking Scorpio, an intuitive Water sign, as is the more commerce-adjacent sign of Cancer.
