Horoscope: 2021 Saturn opposes Trump n Pluto #3 of 3

June 11, 2021: As you know, restrictive Saturn, karmic planet of Time, authority, authenticity, realism, limits, death, and/or loss (if deserved, or the time draws nigh), now traverses the sign of Aquarius where the Old Man rules along with eccentric, progressive Uranus (unless you're a complete traditionalist!) so we should note that the ongoing Saturn-Uranus square in rigid Fixed signs (AQ-Taurus) over our heads signifies the current R vs D stalemates in Congress (status quo vs progress), plus, global society is experiencing a general conflict between the old order vs a new order, nowadays in the form of democracy vs authoritarianism (or, fascism/neo-nazism).

Note that when in Aquarius, reality-based Saturn can signify practical ideals and plans, but for less grounded types can denote eccentric expectations that lead to disappointment, or, ambitious plans without a firm foundation.

Now today's post is for considering major 2021 transits to the natal chart of Donald Tr*mp, a demagogue I'd hoped to never type about again.

Yet certain 2021 transits to his natal planets are significant for the American people (through his nibs as a recent figurehead of the country, now trying hard to remain politically relevant - and solvent). These transits may be used as a lens through which to ponder the wider cosmic influences affecting our society and affecting other nations and cultures across the globe, at least until he is completely removed from the world stage. So here goes:

Below is a color-coded bi-wheel with Tr*mp's natal chart in center, with the third of three transit charts (outer) showing legal eagle Saturn opposing his natal 12th house, unaspected Pluto (10AQ02 vs 10Leo02) which represents the several legal battles and lawsuits that his delusional, underworld self is embattled by. As you know, his Pluto = his Mars-Saturn midpoint, the 'death axis' according to Reinhold Ebertin, and signifying brutality, destruction, and the deaths of many people, as we've experienced.

Several midpoint pictures are listed on the chart, plus, the transit that times the chart is highlighted: Saturn oppo natal Pluto with potentials for: 'a time of limited resources, authority directly challenges and threatens power and control'. We may expect that his popularity will continue to plummet with transit Venus in Capricorn opposing natal Venus in Cancer, and the ability to 'face the truth' certainly is not one of his strong suits (Pluto oppo natal Venus: 3x in 2021 exact on February 18, July 10, and December 25).

Meanwhile, as many astrologers have noted, transit Neptune in shady Pisces has been squaring his natal Sun-Moon opposition and Nodal Axis (fated!) suggesting his personal condition of illusion, fantasy, discontent, isolation, and the undermining of relationships. (For as you know, since the Tr*mp Mob Attack of 1/6, droves of supporters have been deserting the sinking bulk of Herr Tr*mp. And of course, Neptune in Pisces is the natal placement of the Republican Party (1854), sometimes called the Conspiracy Party.

It seems that the GOP has used Neptune's return to Pisces to time their current undermining and erosion of the federal, centralized US government - as such hotheads did in secession days culminating with the Civil War - but that's a fuss for another day.

So for Tr*mp, all of 2021 is unfavorable for 'exacting revenge' (his favorite pastime!), 'calling in debts', and/or 'working against tradition or authority'. Plus, transit Pluto opposing natal Venus indicates that it's time to face the truth (as if!) and may trigger bankruptcy filing since resources are limited; relationship conflicts are also suggested. However, these potentials do not address any hidden wealth (Pluto in Leo) he has squirreled away, although that possibility may be disputed by some since he's always been known to be a fortune-hunting wastrel (see lower left).

So as noted, the following horoscope displays the 3rd of three oppositions to natal Pluto. 1. March 16, 2021; 2. August 4, 2021; and 3. December 13, 2021. Admittedly, he may or may not be located in Mar-A-Lago, Florida in December 2021 - and should not be since it's a place of business, not legally a residence.

And of course, the 'biggie' is the fact that the Saturn-Uranus square involved with his natal Pluto forms a major T-Square of difficult potentials - Saturn-Pluto square Uranus = 'sudden violence; brutal efforts to start a new order' (with Tr*mp at the helm, he hopes), and/or 'an attack regardless of potential losses' with apex Uranus in Taurus taking the reins, leading the mob, and suggesting the radical politics of zealotry and Utopian anarchy.

A Few Astro-Notes Concerning Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA)

Perhaps you've noticed that the Wikipedia page for Pastor, now Senator, Raphael Gamaliel Warnock provides basic details about the man whose oration on the Senate floor on March 17, 2021 was outstanding and, to my ears, uplifting. So a quick peek at his natal planets could be interesting even without having an accurate birth time for those with the interest and the time to do so.

Yet today I'm simply making note of transit Uranus conjunct the newly minted senator's natal Saturn (@8Tau14: responsibilities undergo significant changes; disruption), the fact that transit Chiron in early Aries has recently returned three times to his natal Chiron Rx degree @6Ari47 (April 2020, October 2020, on or about February 20, 2021: healing the past, on a new path for priestly Chiron), plus, Senator Warnock's Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') in the 7 North Saros Series for its background influence repeats for him approximately every 18.6 years (as do ours). So let's see where he is in the eclipse cycle of 7 North themes.

Themes of 7 North: 'a deep passion may take him by surprise and catch him off-guard after being hidden for years, and may include potentials for the expression of procreative drives and/or birth'. (Paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). #ad

Since Senator Warnock is currently a mere 52 years old (hence his Chiron Return), 7 North eclipses have repeated only twice during his lifetime: March 29, 1987 @8Aries17 (conjunct his natal Chiron) and April 8, 2005 @19Ari05 (the exaltation of the Sun degree).

The next manifestation of a 7 North Solar Eclipse will occur on April 20, 2023 @29Ari50, a critical 29th degree. All three 7 North eclipses are hybrids and all, as you see, are in Mars-ruled Aries which suggests courage, a competitive spirit, and a man who boldly confronts the circumstances which occur around the eclipses. Possessing qualities of leadership, he is seldom intimidated, for Senator Warnock tends to see problems as challenges, a typical Aries trait which must have stood him in good stead as a church Pastor and will certainly aid him as a US Senator assuming that he balances his actions so that belligerence and self-willedness don't interfere overmuch with desired results.

So with this post I wish both Senator Warnock and Senator Jon Ossoff much success in their political careers especially since they'll be dealing with some of the most sidewinding, uncooperative varmints known to man - the US Congress.

Two Horoscopes: Christopher Ruddy w Newsmax TV

December 16, 2020: With the holidays fast approaching and my typing time growing briefer each day, here's a quick posting of a bi-wheel of horoscopes. Inner is a speculatively timed (by Moon to 00Cap00:00 because a personality blend of Sun AQ-Moon Cap seems to me to suit Mr. Ruddy better than an AQ-Sag combo of energies but check out both blends if you're curious) natal chart for NewsmaxTV founder and CEO, Christopher Ruddy, journalist and author of a book about the 'strange death' of Vince Foster, along with a 6:00 am est horoscope for the launching of NewsmaxTV (NYC; exact hour of first broadcast unknown). Besides operating from Manhattan, the network also maintains headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Sugar Land, Texas.

For as you know, during these closing days of the Trump 'administration' multiple suggestions of a Trump foray into broadcasting have been floated, plus, the White House denizen apparently favors NewsmaxTV over Fox TV for his political entertainment and soapbox. Perhaps you noticed that in July 2020, Trump encouraged viewers to "dump Fox News" after Fox reported poll numbers that infuriated him. Tsk. He also suggested the pro-Trump OANN (One America News Network) as an alternate option.

Now most of my study notes are penned on the chart/s, as you see, but let's close with the themes of the Solar Eclipses that Ruddy and NewsmaxTV were 'born' or hatched into. Ruddy's is the 2 South Saros Series @11Sag55: "joining unusual groups and receiving a great deal from it" (last 2 South occurred @15Capricorn on January 5, 2019 as the 116th's 'New Congress Eclipse').

NewsmaxTV's 'Prenatal' Solar Eclipse @8Tau51 ('PE") fell into the 16 South Saros Series with themes of "issues of wasted energy or misdirected motivation especially in groups; no real action should be taken" (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad).

Significantly, the Halloween 2020 Full Moon @8Tau38 conjunct transit Uranus, planet of disruption and chaos, intensely activated or spotlighted the themes of the NewsmaxTV Solar Eclipse (conjunct by degree). However, radical zealot Uranus the anarchist is quite capable of disruption and upheaval even without the laser focus of a Full Moon acting much like a revealing Lunar Eclipse.

Our Crisis and the 7 South Eclipse: Mars Square Pluto

2020 Election = 2020 Crisis and Beyond

Not long after the premiere of A Birth of a Nation, on the evening of Thanksgiving, November 25, 1915, itinerant preacher William Joseph Simmmons brought together 15 friends and a few aging original Klan members atop Stone Mountain, Georgia, built an altar, burned a cross, and declared himself imperial wizard of the invisible empire (Nixon's "silent majority'?) of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Upon the altar he had placed a Bible, an American flag, and an unsheathed sword, then uttered a macho-esque incantation involving a "practical fraternity among men" as he declared himself imperial wizard of a morbid brotherhood of malcontents. Perhaps we can agree that modern-day representatives of this hate-filled "fraternal brotherhood" now cling to power as they, with 'macho' Trump, hunker down in the White House and do everything they can to disrupt America's traditional peaceful transition of power. For within the shadows, the Klan's network has grown, spread, and infiltrated the halls of power, much as it did in the early years of the 20th century - and not just in America.

Occurring during the presidency of Woodrow Wilson, a prominent racist of the post-Reconstruction era, the revival of the Klan in 1915 openly revealed their renewed drive toward societal supremacy based on skin color and was promoted as "taking an active part in the betterment of mankind" (as if primal violence could effect such an outcome!). Its motto: Non Silba Sed Anthar a mixture of Latin and Gothic that means, "not self but others." Of course, 'gothic' suggests ancient Germanic tribes, and obviously, their idea of "betterment" involved (and still involves by such groups of our day) the "purification" of the white race, the obsessive, irrational goal of a death cult mentality.

Meanwhile, in the Atlanta, Georgia of 1915, the Atlanta Constitution promoted an attempt to normalize and gain acceptance for what had occurred atop Stone Mountain that dark night. Here's an image of the newspaper's November 28, 1915 clipping:

Now to limit the appearance of this post as any sort of a tribute to the Klan, defunct as the group is said to be yet ideologically cloned these days by various groups and sub-groups, here are a few astro-notes concerning the 7 South Solar Eclipse which influenced the Stone Mountain 1915 cross-burning instigated by William J. Simmons, along with a warning from yours truly that a 7 South Eclipse will repeat on October 14, 2023 @21Libra (fore-warned is fore-armed):

Solar Eclipse 7 South August 10, 1915 @17Leo12 expressed the tremendous power, anger, and force of a Mars-Pluto square based on the initial eclipse of 7 South (June 22, 1248 OS @8Can03--conjunct Trump natal Mercury; 1248 eclipse Mars 8Leo34 SQ Pluto Rx 8Sco09: obstinate Fixed energies; 2020 Uranus Rx now opposing 1915 Pluto = clashes over power and control; mass social movements; shifts in political and social institutions, plus, 2020 Uranus square 1915 Mars suggests unpredictable behavior and disruption). A T-Square of potentials is formed thanks to 2020 Uranus, the Utopian zealot, reactionary rebel, and anarchist: Uranus-Pluto = Mars: 'fanaticism; acts of violence; the mania of destruction; the stage of "bending or breaking"; injury; accidents (R. Ebertin).

So if we dare to add the potentials of this unpredictable T-Square to the possibilities of the Inauguration Day 2021 Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 rising at noon in Washington DC (a cosmic time link 1915-to-2020), it increases our cause for concern that a Klan-riddled White House gang is spoiling for more than simple election lawsuits and social media complaints in their attempt to vindicate Trump and morph the US into an even more brutal era of hatred and conflict. For an ill-gained "win" for Trump now would be a win for dictatorship over democracy, and a sinister victory for 'the Klan'.

And it seems to me that a prominent feature of the August 10, 1915 Solar Eclipse horoscope is the fact that it contains a midpoint picture of potentials for 'rage, the fury of destruction, bodily harm, and the death of many people'-- yes, it's Mars-Saturn = Pluto which is one of the natal midpoint pictures of Donald Trump (previously discussed in multiple SO'W posts). Yet curiously, the picture also contains another possibility: 'intervening of a higher power' (R. Ebertin). I can only guess what this might mean if it applies at all to our current conditions of crisis! First thought? Hidden hands. Manipulation from afar. Or something more domestic.

Now naturally, there are other cosmic factors supporting these forceful Mars-Pluto flavors and passed down through the generations, many of them mentioned in previous SO'W posts. But best of all, mitigating factors of beneficence also exist, as always, which is a very good thing, isn't it?

Besides, there's a bit more to consider about 7 South Eclipses before this post ends. For one thing, 'huge obstacles' such as the hefty, obstinate Trump could suddenly clear! I say this because the theme of 7 South includes a positive flavor of 'huge obstacles suddenly clear' or a negative expression = 'a rapidly-moving crisis manifests' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). Now some might say that the crisis began with the Trump regime (nope--we may wish to time its genesis as far back as the Jamestowne Colony when Angolan slaves were introduced into society, 1619) and most people agree that its ill effects are current and ongoing through the generations. And it's possible that these difficult energies could peak in October 2023 with the 7 South Eclipse in Libra, hence the warning in this post.

Yet how soon tensions between the negative forces darkly working against society led by figurehead Trump vs actors such as Joe Biden who promotes goals and principles of diversity and inclusion will or can dissipate remains to be seen as President-Elect Biden attempts to take the reins of power and Trump yaps at his heels. Today is November 12th and as the days go by since Election 2020 on November 3rd, a quick resolution of our 'Trump problem' appears remote and full of dangerous, sinister undercurrents suggested by a threatening Mars-Pluto square of devastation and success-at-any-cost machinations. As for Rs vs Ds, there's plenty of viciousness to go around in US Politics but I willingly admit to considering the GOP to be the worst of the bunch - the bottom-feeders in our society with 'grim reaper' McConnell leading much of their anti-societal efforts. Maybe we can appreciate the paradox of money-loving bottom feeders who consider themselves to be the 'cream of the crop'!

And so, dear reader, my fuss is over so please help me decide: is our current American crisis a Shakespearean drama of titanic proportions? Or is it a super-villain vs hero extravaganza of a generously bankrolled blockbuster?

Republican Party: Uranus Returns 2020-2021

Will There Still Be a Republican Party?

As you know, the Republican Party recently experienced its Neptune Return/s (5x) while its name morphed into "Conspiracy Party" and other such Neptunian labels (by pundits and others, not just by yours truly). Many people questioned the Party's viability under the Trump regime and we may well continue to wonder into 2021.

Meanwhile, with this post it's equal time for the Party's Uranus in Taurus, I say, so below is a dual image of the third of three Uranus Returns of the Republican Party, plus, the founding horoscope of the Party (lower left) that I used to create the April 22, 2021 Return chart. (Yes, there are multiple horoscopes for the Party's inception, most in 1854 but one set for 1853 - and those are only the ones I have in my files, there could be others! Confusion about the Party's true identity, how very Neptunian of them!)

Now for a human being, the Uranus Return around age 84 tends to be a time when the past no longer matters as much if at all to the native (and may have been mostly forgotten!), plus, much separation has occurred as one may have outlived family members and friends. So if these potentials can apply to a group of people or an entity, perhaps this 'new' condition is proving to be the case for the GOP these days. Trump has liked inserting the idea that we've "turned a corner" when it comes to the pandemic, hasn't he?

And so with Uranus we must also consider that with the Uranus Cycle of approximately 84 years, the Party experienced an earlier Uranus Return - another 'three-fer' - which perfected 3x on: May 10, 1937, December 14, 1937, and February 20, 1938 during the FDR presidency. If you can, check out those 1930s horoscopes which are chocked full of interesting features. For one example, the February 20, 1938 Return chart (#3 0f 3, not shown here) occurred during a Saturn-Uranus square which suggests the 'new order replaces old' concerns of those difficult years, supported by Nazi zealots, and in America by FDR's New Deal programs that saved the American people's bacon (and would continue to do so if the greedy GOP would leave them alone; you may disagree but there it is).

Meanwhile, the April 22, 2021 Return chart shown below reveals a Jupiter-Uranus square denoting that goals and group projects will require independent actions that must then be coordinated for best results. Sudden turns in destiny are possible under a Jupiter-Uranus influence as well as various sorts of breakthroughs. Discontent with political conditions are also suggested by the square. Yet I must wonder, considering the effect on the Party by Trump over the last four or five years: will the square indicate a break-up?

As for the basic indications of Uranus in Venus-ruled Taurus, a money and growth sign, potentials are suggested for: people who seek out-of-the-ordinary sources of money or income; those who use individual methods of finance; speculation; risking all in one go; and/or premature action that leads to failure (Ebertin). Any or all may apply to the Republican Party's basic nature and suggest to me, if not to you, that some of their financial sources could be illegitimate, or at the very least, unorthodox. Whatever they are, they are probably well hidden from prying eyes.

So based on all the 1853-1854 founding dates and horoscopes of the Republican Party, Uranus was in Taurus in each one so the above indications of Uranus in Taurus apply, plus, any that you, dear reader, care to think of. And that's not even counting the revolutionary, reactive, disruptive, separative qualities of erratic Uranus the rebellious anarchist with *Utopian ideas that go against civilization!

September-November 2020: Mars in Aries to and fro

Two DC Horoscopes September and November 2020: Trolling the Path of Mars

Lower left: September 9, 2020 Mars Direct Station @28Ari08 2nd house 6:22:12 pm edt Washington DC; Hour of Mars which squares 12th house Saturn (delays; resistance; stop'n'go energy); ASC 24AQ38 (US natal Moon rising) conjunct Uranus-MC suggests excitability, irritability, possible upsets; Uranus unaspected = spurts of activity; warlike Antares conjunct MC; at IC are Moon @12Gemini and Midas (fluctuating campaign finances?); Neptune and Pisces intercepted in 1st house suggests large events possibly water related and/or contagion/toxins; also, the media, the masses, deception, loss, theft, disappointment, conspiracy; voting planet Mercury 6Lib27 in 8th house and nearing Nemesis (the unbeatable foe).

Chart-ruler Saturn makes one applying Ptolemaic aspect, a conjunction with powerful manipulator Pluto (see lower left) which is, of course, a continuation of their conjunction's harsh, constraining energies of January 2020, and of course the Capricorn trio continues its heavy influence. Meanwhile, the revolutionary pair of Mars and Uranus will blend their energies on Election Day November 3, 2020 @6Tau44 with a disturbing potential for conflicts and destruction.

On Election Day 2020, Mars Rx 16Ari01 is opposing US natal Saturn (14lib48) off and on which denotes a period of potentials such as: attempts to circumvent rules and/or laws, anger flare ups, delays that lead to cancellations, organizational difficulties, resentment, and/or resistance to the authority of others. Obviously with Trump involved, court cases and legal decisions may be involved as well as ballot counting issues.

Upper right: November 13, 2020 Mars Rx Station @15Ari13 10th house 7:35:36 pm est Washington DC; Hour of Venus 20Lib42 5th house but leading a ruthless Locomotive shape into 4th house (condition of Venus in Libra relates to 2020 Election results: incumbent wins unless something miraculous occurs - ex: Blue Tsunami).

Both of Mars' changes of direction fall within the 4 North Summer Solstice Solar Eclipse Saros Series (restraint, restriction, separation, illusion) and as you see, the November 13th chart has US natal Jupiter rising just after the 4 North Solar Eclipse pops up over the horizon. And when Mars shifts to direct motion on November 13, 2020 'he' opposes Venus (ruthless as a Locomotive engine) which, among other things, suggests sore losers. However, by November 22nd, transit Venus will scoot on into Scorpio, leaving Mars to continue simmering in fiery Aries until early January 2021.

And with Cancer rising on November 13th, Moon is chart-ruler indicating emotions vs intellect, excitement, and potential conditions of instability, as seen in the Scorpio Moon's applying opposition to quirky Uranus Rx in money sign Taurus where finances tend to be uncertain and/or fluctuating and unusual sources of revenue are sought.

October 2020:Of course, more information (aka, inconvenient facts or secrets) are sure to be revealed by the light of the Halloween 2020 Full Moon @8Tau38 which casts its illuminating rays upon disruptive Uranus - the Witness and the Awakener!

Wild Cards of the Universe, Uranian Eclipses Disrupt Earthly Events

So will it be shock, awe, or a little of both when Uranus stars in a cosmic spotlight once again and closes the month of November 2020 with a Lunar Eclipse 8Gem38 conjunct US natal Uranus and simultaneously activates Trump's Prenatal Solar Eclipse in the 2 Old North Saros Series (8Gem48: 'unfortunate news; separation; but fast action can bring good results' - Brady).

When Rep. Pramila Jayapal Questions Bill Barr

July 29, 2020: Yesterday on SO'W I typed aloud my dream that it could be Senator Kamala Harris who would question Trump's interference-running Attorney General Bill Barr during his testimony before Congress for Senator Harris is Barr's favorite interrogator, as you know. After all, it was Senator Harris' natal Pluto @15Virgo and Venus in Virgo (17:53) that peeked over the horizon on Capitol Hill as the congressional session opened at 9:30 am edt. Here's yesterday's DC Horoscope set for 9:30 am edt. Perhaps her powerful style of dealing with prevaricators was present in spirit!

However, with the testy proceedings occurring in the House not the Senate, lady Venus in the questioning sign of Gemini at apex of a YOD configuration and with a special task to perform at the appointed time turned out to be reflected by Rep. Pramila Jayapal which suited the situation just fine. Her characterization of Barr's actions concerning Black Lives Matter protesters (he's against them) vs Barr's coddling (my word) of armed right wing extremists who threatened to lynch a governor is based in reality unlike so much that spews out of fantasist Trump and his scofflaw regime which Barr was hired to protect like Trump's mentor Roy Cohn used to do back in the olden days.

Notable is that the same midpoint picture turns up in both the 2020 toppling horoscope and 'grand poobah' Pike's 1809 natal chart: Neptune-NN = Uranus with 2020 Uranus opposing his natal Uranus in Scorpio (kind of a midlife crisis for him if he only knew). For us, chaos, disruption, and separation are activated potentials of this transit, plus, 2020 Uranus in Taurus opposes Inauguration 2017's Moon (9Scorpio) suggesting current events not only of civil unrest, protests, topplings of Confederate statues, and general upheaval as it shouts-out The Confederacy with its separative/secessionist sympathies, plus, the 'great' poobah himself, Donald Trump.

A Total Solar Eclipse December 14, 2020: Fate Steps In

December 14, 2020 Brings a 'Cosmic Blink' from Above: Fate, Destiny, Karma

June 18, 2020: Many events, changed conditions, and tweets have occurred since last I posted the Horoscope of the 4 South Solar Eclipse which perfects on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 so here's another consideration of the chart with a few hindsight conditions in mind, plus, a nod to the element of fate, aka, destiny:

As you see, the natal placements of Donald Trump are not littering the chart even though his Sun-NN/Moon-SN polarity is involved with the transiting Nodal axis, Mercury (20Sag05), and the Solar Eclipse, primarily because like most people I am truly weary of the blighter. He does figure in, of course, and may be the primary recipient of the 'fate' suggested by the 4 South eclipse themes (see below), plus other cosmic indications in the chart. However, 'wherever Trump goes so goes America' at least for now so mention should be made of the fact that his natal Descendant rises in this chart (Ascendant @29AQ01, a critical-crisis 29th degree). Also rising are two of the eclipse's midpoints: Pluto-Chiron (plutocrats; exploitation; primal violence; racism and other oppressive -isms), and, inventive Mercury-Uranus with little Mercury snugged between the eclipse and the Saturnian South Node (ideas behind or ahead of their time? same old tweeted insults? leaked plans?). Well obviously, technology and communications are suggested by Mercury-Uranus along with a potential for rebellion or riots due to goals not being fully explained or being rejected, plus, accidents via travel are possible, and Trump's past tweets may be spotlighted as they've been before. Yes, tweets (Mercury) from the past (SN) can come back to haunt even the most erstwhile tweeter!

Meanwhile, radical Uranus @7Tau07 lurches through the 2nd house of Earning Ability and the National Treasury and is unaspected (spurt-like energy or intuition from Uranus) and likely seeking 'unusual methods of financing' when in Taurus. This placement also suggests that 'premature action results in failure' (Ebertin) and can result in costly upsets or disruptions of one kind or another such as sudden natural events (exs: tectonic plates shifting--Saturn at a critical 29th degree--storms, hurricanes, and/or tech disruptions). Expect the unexpected.

And yet it's gas-lighting Neptune in her own sign of Pisces that rises in 1st house and denotes potentials for undermining conditions, saboteurs and subversives, events too massive to handle (possibly involving water or other liquids and/or toxins, drugs, oceans) plus, illness, infection, weakness, instability, confusion, fear and paranoia rising. So apparently our current difficulties continue to flow through society while a disinterested fellow with a power-grasping agenda 'mans' the helm of the White House and tweets our country away to the highest bidder.

Then, in 9th house of Foreign Lands, Philosophy, Higher Education, and Legal Affairs is Venus @28Sco44 - a money planet in the business and investment sign of Scorpio. Venus leads the tilt of a BOWL which falls over the 10th cusp of Career and Public Reputation. She's on a mission and is advocating for a cause (BOWL) but is less effective due to her limited experience of the world as shown by the signs outside the BOWL - the realms of Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Libra. To me this indicates missing elements of versatility, nurturance, natural leadership, discrimination, and balance. Unfortunately as 2020 ends, the trio of planets in governmental Capricorn and eroding Neptune in Pisces are outweighing Cancer's natural tendency to nurture and dissolving Virgo's natural function of discrimination - or trying to.

Meanwhile, other karmic or fated conditions are shown by factors such as the interception of the Virgo-Pisces axis across the 1/7 house polarity (including watery Neptune opposing dedicated Vesta). Yes, it's obviously time that America's Virgo-Pisces 'victim-savior' issues be dealt with and these include police brutality, Black Lives Matter, work place ethics (US Neptune in Virgo, sign of work and health), medical matters (exs: Covid-19, hospitals, supplies, testing, death rates), and the current loss of employment, lives, and lifestyles of millions of Americans, under empty vessel Trump.

Heavyweight Planets Pluto-Jupiter-Saturn and US natal Pluto

Naturally a major component in the eclipse chart is the 12th house of Karma, Self-Undoing, Large Institutions, Politics, and Behind-the-Scenes activities and meetings because heavyweights Pluto, Jupiter, and Saturn, now Direct in Capricorn, are grouped there across the house cusp which also happens to be conjoined by US natal Pluto Rx (27Cap33). As you know, US Pluto always drags along our nation's Mercury-Pluto opposition of surveillance and thought control (propaganda). In fact, the Mercury-Uranus duo includes the interesting potential of 'using propaganda during emergencies'. Ya think? Well, chart-ruler Saturn makes no applying aspects yet Venus does sextile conservative Saturn (a good business sense with a talent for setting priorities) while expansive Jupiter applies to their game-changing Great Conjunction (0A47) @00AQ29 perfecting at Winter Solstice 2020, a cosmic harbinger indicating major changes in society on several levels which we've discussed before (as has every other astrologer!).

Then sneakily, in the 12th house of Secret Deals is karmic Saturn sporting the Sabian Symbol for his rounded-up degree of '30 Capricorn' = OPPORTUNITY: "Directors of a Large Firm Meet in Secret Conference" with the word picture's negative expression: "rampant selfishness and rank exploitation" (Jones). Does this sound anything like a group of corporate executives, financiers, political operatives, and bad faith enablers you know? And maybe a selfish Ayn-Rander or two?

So when we look at the transiting midpoint picture with US natal Pluto as apex planet, what possibilities do we see? Tr Jupiter-Saturn = n Pluto: 'a total reversal of plans; intense business activity; extreme changes or reforms; and, wealthy, stealthy puppet master Pluto 'in control of the situation'. Actually, this midpoint picture is penned in the center of the chart and its potentials may very well relate to the objectives of that secret conference. Alternately, it may describe other players, too.

The Times They Really Are a-Changin'

Yes, change is rather the point of a 'cosmic blink'/'wild card' eclipse that affects conditions and events on Earth much as quirky, shocking Uranus tends to do: with disruption, unexpected events, intervention by a higher power, and possibly a total change of direction as a result. Are we listening to the Voice of a higher power? Well, some of us are! Are you?

Such is the Total Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 which contains themes of 'very strong emotional feelings concerning relationships and/or money; a sense of fatedness as individuals are caught up in relationship events beyond personal control; a sudden desire to end relationships or associations; anger; lust; blocked emotions that lead to much frustration. Best advice is to avoid hasty action until issues settle down' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology).

Silent Neptune Undermines and Erodes

In addition, there are squares to the Eclipse/Nodal axis from Neptune - intercepted, as noted - with Neptunian potentials as mentioned, above and below. Foggy conditions, cloudiness, or insecurity may cause eclipse imperatives to seem difficult to understand or manage for the masses, even for the media (Neptune), yet to make karmic progress, clarity and truth must be constantly attempted to the extent that we can, our years of extreme disappointment with Washington politicians notwithstanding. Because feeling Neptunian disappointment in our elected officials is no longer enough to effect the positive changes we need and democracy requires participation.

For Neptunian circumstances squaring the eclipse include delusional leaders, subversives, saboteurs, radical reactionaries, and folks who are out of step with current societal standards and traditions - and all are eager to continue interfering with America's karmic progress for they prefer either the status quo or better yet (they think), the regressive policies of olden days. Why, even Trump's natal fantasy-prone, deceitful Mercury-Neptune square is echoed by this eclipse chart (but from Sagittarius to Pisces instead of Cancer to Libra). This 'square' condition of off-kilter Mercury and Neptune is another way that Trump shows up in the chart along with his natal Sun-Moon-Nodes configuration, and his speculating, transactional Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio in Libra conjunct the 8th cu$p of Shared Resources, Debt, Credit, and Corporatism, among other realms. And as you know, the Nodes of the Moon suggest the fated paths all Earthlings must tread, even scofflaw freeloader Donald Trump.

Perhaps so, but it seems to me that this particular eclipse 'begs to differ' with such subversives and radical reactionaries concerning the fate of America because in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius, a solar eclipse calls for integrity, honesty, ethical actions and moral standards to be upheld, not disrespected or neglected. Negative expressions such as misguided beliefs, erroneous philosophies, deceit, and fraud will amount to nothing of value under the influence of the December 2020 Eclipse, if karmic progress is to be made by the Collective as we face 2021, and it is extremely important that We The People not scatter our energies. Because as many people have called for lately, Unity is needed - for as everyone knows, there be strength in numbers!

What's Old Is New Again: Or Is It Vice Versa? Naming No Names

June 4, 2020: Nowadays in America our freedoms are in danger of being vastly restricted. We see it in political events and speeches, in the news, and overhead in the skies. Therefore, care must be taken not to publish on topics that might attract the raptor's gaze. This is something I'd hoped never to have to type in a Stars Over Washington post but the time has drawn nigh, my friends. And so what do I haul off and do this evening? Make an attempt to find corresponding astrological factors that reflect current events to describe the protests, demonstrations, and the overly forceful, reactionary responses from denizens of the White House who feel under threat from the populace and so they threaten We The People. In this case, it's peaceful protesters under siege by alt-right operatives and "soldiers" in black wearing no identifying insignia - ordered about by a desperate man. But there's no call to list such calamities here for we're all drenched with news of the day and, in fact, must make concerted efforts to avoid knowledge of it.

As Above So Below! I refer to the current position of transit Uranus in early Taurus now activating a certain opposition in the founding horoscope of a controversial organization that formed on December 24, 1865 in Pulaski, Tennessee--a group well known for its violent tendencies and strong-armed behavior. But through an abundance of caution, I shall not name it, nor anyone else, in this post.

For you see, this particular group, backed by enablers both foreign and domestic, coup'ed the White House in 2016/2017 so I suspect you know which group I refer to. The group's natal aspect now activated is a brutal Saturn-Pluto opposition across the Taurus-Scorpio axis and now transit Uranus has careened along within the same degree area and spurred the harsh opposition into expression in our day.

Now as you know, the cycle of Uranus is approximately 84 years in length so this transit has occurred before (since 1865) when transit Uranus was around 8-12 Taurus - significantly during the 1930s. Well, who doesn't know that upheaval, turbulence, and power-grabs in society occurred during those days, too? And by like-minded perpetrators attempting to take control of government. History rhymes but note that their coup failed in America. Now they're trying again and have learned a few tricks from their mistakes.

And so it is due to the quickly shifting reforms and threats to change America into a police state that I type at you with more concern for our nation than ever before. For nearly fifteen years I've fussed here on SO'W about how I didn't - don't - 'like what they've done with the place' - 'the place' being my former city of residence, Washington DC, and of course, this extends to the entire United States of America. Yet as I said, the time has drawn nigh and a great crisis is forced upon the American people who must yield to or fight against oppressive forces.

So! With transit Uranus, planet of revolt and revolution, now triggering the 1865 Saturn-Pluto opposition belonging to a bunch of hotheaded sour pusses who just can't give up their treasonous fight, let's consider the Uranian transit from the perspectives of (1) 2020 Uranus opposing 1865 Saturn in Scorpio and (2) 2020 Uranus nearing conjunction to 1865 Pluto in Taurus (exact three times: June and November 2021 and March 2022):

(1) Traditions and methods are under fire from opposing forces demanding change, progressive reforms, and a 'new order' (Saturn: old vs Uranus: new). Attempts to enforce control over events or people will have negative consequences. Moderation is the best course of action but will prove difficult to manage or retain.

(2) Upheavals, unrest, calamities, revolts, protests, riots, strikes, demonstrations, stalemates, battle lines, and a period when past crimes threaten to 'catch up with' perpetrators. So apparently we can include 'arrests' to this list especially since arrests are already happening.

Now let's add the midpoint picture formed by the three planets, rigid old Saturn, powerful manipulator and bank-roller Pluto (intolerant when in Taurus) plus, rebellious catalyst Uranus, fond of speculative ventures when in Taurus yet may fail due to impulsively taking premature actions: "Brutal efforts to start a new order; an attack, regardless of potential losses" (Solar Arcs, Noel Tyl).

Now there are plenty of other contacts from 2020 planets to the 1865 horoscope I'm looking at ('noon') but to keep this post on the brief side, I'll add only this: 1865 Saturn @9Sco39 was conjoined on Inauguration Day 2017 by our Inaugural Moon @9Sco21 which at noon est that day had sunk into the 6th house of Military-Police-Civil Services, Daily Rounds, and Health (yes, you know that Covid-19 is one of the current assaults upon the American people--and on the world, for that matter--this threatens to become a global conflagration just as certain criminal elements in society have long dreamed--hence, 'the group').

And so transit Uranus in Taurus now opposes 2017 Inaugural Moon in Scorpio which suggests a period when our domestic environments are disrupted, lives and conditions feel unstable, separations can occur between family members, even pets, soldiers suddenly show up, medical systems are interrupted, and deep emotional turmoil ripples across the land.

Well, I made it through without naming names and I sincerely hope that this As Above So Below post doesn't bum anyone out more than they already were before they haplessly or purposefully arrived on Stars Over Washington. As usual, my intention is to forearm any reader who cares to take note via Astrology, the only system of analysis that adds the element of timing to all matters at hand.

Easter Sunrise 2020 Washington DC: Sun Trine Moon!

Easter April 12, 2020 Sunrise: He Is Risen! is how my Easter posts have always begun in celebration of the Good News for those who believe (as do I). Unfortunately, this post has Trumpism drizzled all over it due to current conditions of the Coronavirus contagion so ably encouraged by contagious Neptune floating through its own shady, frail sign of Pisces and with handmaidens harsh Saturn-Pluto and infectious Mars telling their own turbulent tales. For as you know, Neptune's urge-to-merge desires are being fulfilled all too well these days on a cellular level as people across the globe suffer and pass away, their demises often egged on by too-little-too-late medical care which is stymied, mishandled, or denied by politicians and their enablers of an anti-societal mindset, animated by the spirit of destruction that now roams the Earth almost completely unchecked. As foretold.

Conditions will get worse and stats will increase 'they say', and this we intuit without being told from the screens of our TVs and devices where 'talking heads' follow their scripts of doom, jobs are lost, and financial markets crash around greedy ears. Remember that year 2020 is forever imprinted by its first eclipse--a Lunar Eclipse at critical degree conjunct a certain star.

Meanwhile, shocking Uranus is busy lurching through earthy Taurus, a money sign of growth and development, as earth changes continue to alarm and harm, environmental damage and danger distress us, and new finance is sought from unusual sources. How obvious is it that Gaia, our Mother Earth, is upset and who can blame her? Do you know that April 22, 2020 is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day?

Now let's focus on the Cosmic Weather of Easter Sunday 2020 through a common-good yet political-astrological lens by considering the day's horoscope for clues. My apology that no horoscope image can appear here since ink cartridges are empty and a long waiting period for delivery means fresh cartridges will arrive whenever they manage to arrive. I'd be happy to hand-draw a chart for you but my printer won't allow me to skip print and select 'scan'! Therefore, this post will not consider the April 12th horoscope as fully as I'd prefer.

April 12, 2020 Sunrise at 6:39:40 am EDT over Washington DC with Sun rising at 22Aries and Moon @22Sagittarius in a Fire trine, karmic because the luminaries are in the same 22nd degree. Happily, there's Good News for a Sun-Moon trine suggests strong recuperative powers, stamina, and a sense of optimism - may they extend for everyone across the globe! Sabian Symbols for the rounded-up degrees of the Sun and Moon add information to our clues: "23Aries": "A Woman in Pastel Colors Carrying a Heavy and Valuable But Veiled Load" and "23Sag": "Immigrants Entering a New Country." Yes, Covid-19 restrictions have brought new conditions in and transformation of America and elsewhere, it's true.

Yet with the astrological Moon associated with the physical body and health, how curious that April 12, 2020 is a day of a monthly Trump Lunar Return so it's interesting that Trump has linked the day to his idea of an early recovery and "time to get back to work" after dire government commands to "shelter in place" and stay home from work if you're symptomatic, have tested positive for Covid-19, or are simply contagious with whatever. Apparently his mind has been changed to a later date but I wonder if his eagerness is misplaced optimism, foolhardiness, or a political tactic against his opponents in a desperate attempt to "win" by hook or crook in November? Maybe all of the above. After all, transit Neptune, planet of fantasy, deception, and fraud, continues moving into an exact square with Trump's natal Sun-Moon opposition suggesting that he's the wrong person to go to when realism is needed due to illusions, deceptions, misunderstandings, mistakes, easy upsets, and/or eroding relationships. In a nutshell, unreliability.

Of course, no one needs Astrology to tell them any of this for we know his fantastical history of lies, deceit, and misconceptions. Yet in spite of Donald Trump, Easter 2020 brings comfort to the afflicted via the Sun-Moon trine for those who care to receive the gift!

Comic Weather of Easter 2020

Now as you know, Sun Aries-Moon Sagittarius is a double Fire combo of conscious + unconscious energies with embers that fly high into the stratosphere like a roaring bonfire when things are going its way. But once reality steps in, the 'black dog of depression' hits hard. Historically, Winston Churchill and Mark Twain (aka, Samuel Clemons) were born under double Fire Sun-Moon blends and are known to have suffered heavy depression and dark pessimism when times were tough.

So although we are facing more dark days ahead, my fervent hope this Easter Morning is that tough times will ease soon, relief will come to the afflicted, responsibilities will be faced and shouldered with courage, and we will look up with confidence in the knowledge that what's been sown by those who worship death will be exactly what they reap--for all will be made right in the end.

2019--2020 Transits to Republican Party planets

Donald Trump Points Up Toward the Cosmos

During the Civil War, The Election of 1864 was "A Different kind of Election" during which Abraham Lincoln won his second term with 55% of the popular vote. The National Union Party, as the Republican Party was temporarily called at that time, counted Mr. Lincoln as a member.

Now with all the turmoil in America and the Republican Party in a bright spotlight we may wish to search for any major planetary transits to the Republican Party Horoscope. Thing is, there are at least two such horoscopes in circulation (that I know of!) yet with both set for 1854, we can be assured that the transits are in progress of affecting the party and its members with the main difference being one of timing of the transits' exactitude.

There are two Republican Party horoscopes in my files: March 20, 1854 6:30 pm LMT (Sun 00Ari05 conjunct Mercury Rx 5Ari18; Moon 20Sag27) Ripon, Wisconsin, and July 6, 1854 5:00 pm LMT (Sun 14Can27 Mercury 10Leo05; Moon 28Sco00 ) Ripon, Wisconsin. Either chart may be set for other hours depending on the choices made by various astrologers. (Note that no Angles or cusps are included or considered in the following.)

Current Transits of Saturn, Pluto, and Uranus

The 2019--2020 transiting planets I'm noting today are the exact Saturn-Pluto Conjunction of January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 (noon est) which 'hits' the natal Jupiters in both charts: March 20 Jupiter @22Cap59 and July 6 Jupiter Rx @23Cap52--with both Jupiters 2 to 5 degrees from Chiron in Capricorn (Chiron Rx on July 6, 1854), and transit Uranus on January 12, 2020 @2Tau39.

Now as I type (December 16, 2019 12:45 est Raleigh NC) transit Saturn @19Cap58 and tr Pluto @21Cap53--both moving in direct motion--are aligning for their big meeting on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 (conjunct Trump's natal vertex!) and to me it seems their energies are already affecting the Republican Party via its Jupiter and its Uranus (@1Tau30 on March 20, 1854 and 3Tau48 on July 6, 1854). Let's list them as separate transits:

2019-2020 Saturn conjunct 1854 Jupiter denotes a period of serious spiritual and economic concerns and possible restrictions in these realms; if prosperous it's time to share and to give back, plus, divergence from or breaking of rules, laws, and traditions leads to limitation, frustration, and delay.

2019--2020 Pluto conjunct 1854 Jupiter indicates a time when greater power and influence is sought in the political and financial realms (which may or may not succeed); total honesty is required for best results, exaggeration and misrepresentation can backfire, and social and/or religious reforms may inspire fanaticism and intolerance.

2019--2020 Uranus conjunct 1854 Pluto (@1Tau30 on March 20 and 3Tau35 on July 6, 1854) tends to bring abrupt shifts and changes in society and serious psychological adjustments that are necessary and may trigger hidden fears and complexes that are difficult to directly and honestly confront. And as you know, Uranus-Pluto energies combined suggests potentials for: riots, revolutions, protests, upheavals that bring changes in government, upsets, unrest, violent acts, subversive activities, the enforcement of decisions, the process of transformation, and 'collapse of the old order, construction of the new' (Ebertin). To Uranus-Pluto Michael Munkasey adds, "sudden new criminal acts." We see these every day!

Jupiter Expands What He Touches

In closing, we may also wish to consider the midpoint of harsh Saturn-Pluto with 1854 Jupiter as apex of a midpoint picture with potentials for: religious and social fanaticism, sacrifice, difficulties caused by illness (Ebertin); trouble with authority, trying to save what's left, staying out of trouble, adoption of the austere (Tyl); and/or, people with leadership and power to dispense (Munkasey).

April through October 2019: the Sun-Uranus Cycle

October 21, 2019: With the Sun in late Libra about to oppose erratic Uranus in early Taurus by transit on October 28th (4:15:10 am edt), a consideration of the Sun-Uranus cycle seems appropriate especially since the fellow now playing the POTUS role, Donald Trump, is a Uranian chaos-creator with his natal 10th house Uranus oriental in Mutable, changeable Gemini behaving as his whimsical, disruptive guiding planet. And of course, Trump is an original, a Sun-Uranus person with only his Gemini North Node snugged between them which partially explains his ability to excite (Sun-Uranus) the public (North Node) with rallies and disrupt with tweets--with Sun representing a leader and his ego thereof.

The Sun-Uranus Cycle in 2019

The cycle began on April 22, 2019 when the Sun and Uranus conjoined energies @2Tau31:40 along with transiting health asteroid, Hygeia (2Tau42) so in this post, we'll take a look at US events on and within a couple of days of April 22, 2019. As you see in the photo, above, the annual White House Easter Egg Roll was held on April 22nd with a costumed Easter Bunny big as life (on the right, not center) in attendance. We can only hope that the fantasy-prone Mr. Trump wasn't fooled into believing that one of his imaginings had come to life like Jimmy Stewart's 6-foot rabbit Harvey. "Six-foot-three-and-a-half-inches--let's stick to the facts," says Stewart's character, Elwood P. Dowd. If only Dowdy Donald would!

Now as you know, all planetary conjunctions are like New Moons which time the beginning of a new phase of activity, and their oppositions, like Full Moons, represent the culmination, awareness, and fulfillment stage. So for the Sun-Uranus cycle of 2019, April 22 to October 28 encompasses the current cycle from 'New to Full'. This indicates that something Solar-Uranian begun in April will come to fruition or end in late October so a search for US and global events of April 2019 would be fruitful for the curious while keeping in mind current events and those over the next few days of October 2019--and until late April 2020 when a new Sun-Uranus cycle begins. (Primarily this post refers to US events which are on-the-boil just now, not that others aren't.)

Another related event occurred on April 22, 2019--the announcement that new cases of measles were reported, amounting to the 2nd worst outbreak in the US in nearly 20 years with 22 states affected. Of course, "nearly 20 years" points toward the Jupiter-Saturn cycle and perhaps the Nodal Cycle of 18.6 years so their involvement could be notable. And as mentioned, health asteroid Hygeia was spotlighted by the April 22nd Sun-Uranus conjunction with astrological Uranus often representing the 'new' or the 'novel' and the goal-oriented Sun activating public announcements and events.

In addition, two other events around April 22nd were: the redacted Mueller Report was released on April 18, 2019, and on April 23rd, it was reported that 156 people across 10 states were hospitalized due to consuming E. Coli in ground beef, another Sun-Uranus-Hygeia event. (I'll mention here that the health of Donald Trump is a constant topic of discussion and a deep concern to us all but you already know this!)

As for Politics or Business, let's consider the willful, unpredictable Sun-Uranus pair within those realms; here are the pair's potentials as quoted from Michael Munkasey's Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of The (Your) Planets which helpfully provides the Hegelian form of analysis:

Thesis: Political changes that shape the quality of all efforts; reforms which initiate changes to authority or power; legislation mandating major reforms in policies; revolutions which bring fundamental changes.

Antithesis: Rebellions designed solely for the removal of an existing leader; the changes which accompany upheavals; rule makers or interpreters battling decision makers; a contrary head of state with unusual habits.

Now I'm not emphasizing any of these potentials as 'what we're now dealing with' in Politics and Business because I'm certain that you, dear reader, can ascertain them for yourself and have opinions of your own. But I will add that in the physical realms, Sun-Uranus relates to 'blood pressure abnormalities' such as an overweight man can trigger within himself while furiously raging against those who stand in his way, who defy him, who testify against him, and/or who inhibit his life-or-death need to follow Putin's agenda to sabotage and collapse the United States of America. (Note that to Sun-Uranus, Ebertin adds, "heart neurosis.") As for the House's current impeachment investigations of Donald Trump, some amount of information in the Mueller Report has been recently mentioned within the public discourse and could certainly come up again as depositions are given to various committees.

Now naturally, other planetary factors are in process of influencing conditions and events within the April to October 2019 time frame, either in support of Sun-Uranus potentials, or against them. One obvious cosmic factor of influence is the unpredictable Scorpio New Moon of October 27, 2019 @4Sco25 opposed by erratic 'wild card' planet Uranus Rx--for New Moons can influence events and reveal inconvenient facts in similar fashion to 'wild card' solar eclipses. So this particular Solar-Lunar cycle begins with the seeding of new ideas and plans just as a Sun-Uranus cycle culminates and unpredictable events 'led' by Trump continue to affect and influence the Collective--and the rest of the world--as his authority and integrity are challenged by the powers that be.

Therefore, we may expect that some measure of fulfillment, full awareness, and/or culmination will occur under the revealing rays of the Taurus Full Moon (19Tau52) of November 12, 2019 which perfects within Trump's 9th house of Foreign Lands and Legalities and, looking ahead, we find that a new Sun-Uranus cycle begins during the last week of April 2020 in the 6-to-7-degree range of Venus-ruled Taurus.

Saboteur-in-chief Trump and those of his ilk continue to attack, pillage, and damage the environment as they make the plundering of America's natural resources easier for industry corporatists (his backers) to grab, run, deregulate protections and injure the health of the American people. So if you wish, check out the chart where you'll find 'criminal elements' (Jupiter-Pluto-MC) and a first house Uranus Rx in Taurus suggesting unpredictable, disruptive events, even shocks. Plus, his SR 2019 Uranus is apex of a midpoint picture with Sun (ego; personality; essence; the goal) and Neptune (deception, fraud, delusion, propaganda, undermining, sabotage) so that channeled through Trump we have potentials for:

'Upsets caused by ignoring reality; adjustment of old dreams to fit newly developing situations; indifference to life or others while inwardly escaping' (Munkasey). Moon-Tracking the Dem Debates June 26/27, 2019

There's an appropriate midpoint picture that forms during both Democratic Debates the evenings of June 26 and 27, 2019: Venus-Neptune = Uranus (@5Tau+): 'the politics of vanity and deceit' (Munkasey). Noel Tyl adds potentials for: 'intensified fantasy setting up impractical expectations; going too far'; and/or, 'susceptibility to exploitation through ego aggrandizement'. Well, all these possibilities sound like US Politics in general as practiced in 2019, don't they? And with both political parties described in one handy midpoint picture brought to us by the Cosmos and emphasized by Campaign 2020 getting underway.

Now as you know, the sign of the Moon reveals info on current societal trends and the public mood of the moment so checking the Sun-Moon signs for both nights, we find Sun in early Cancer--June 26 9:00 pm edt Miami, FL conjunct US natal Jupiter @6Cancer ("Game Birds Feathering Their Nests" -- perhaps a book deal or two may result from a presidential campaign--or is this a hint of Senator Elizabeth Warren's perennial financial topics?), and the public's Moon in Mars-ruled Aries revealing some measure of riled up feelings and social activism. So the first debate shows a Water-Fire Sun-Cancer-Moon Aries blend which suggests quick, shrewd minds, impatience, sharp tongues, and the tendency to hide behind a 'brisk, authoritative manner when feeling vulnerable'. Plus some debater or two may stir up trouble where there isn't any! A political tactic for their own purposes, of course.

The more descriptive 'Image for Integration' for the first debate's Sun Cancer-Moon Aries combo of energies is: "A suffragette takes to the barricades in aid of her cause." Yowsa!

Then for the second debate (June 27, 2019 9:00 pm edt), Luna moves into Venus-ruled Taurus and is already slightly beyond erratic Uranus by 9:00 pm edt with the planetary pair suggesting emotional excitement for some viewers/voters and emotional detachment for others. This can also apply to one candidate or another at the same time, plus, Uranus these days tends to signify chaos-creator Donald Trump, the Uranian.

Now a Taurus Moon reveals a public mood in need of preserving values and traditions and desiring the attainment of more settled conditions rather than rocking the boat. Whether this atmosphere favors former VP Biden over Senator Sanders time will tell although to me it sounds more like voters leaning toward a staid Joe over a reformist Bernie (even though Sanders is more popular with the public at large--plus, I'm not considering personal planets of the candidates in this post) -- or, another status quo vs progressive candidate. Whatever the public preference may be at the end of June 2019, there will be plenty of time for sentiments and emotions to shift.

June 27: Sun Cancer-Moon Taurus is a pragmatic Water-Earth blend suggesting practical realism, sensitive responses to public appeals, and 'belief in the worth of every individual' (more of a Democratic thing than a Republican ideal, don't you agree?). However, subjective prejudices may be in evidence yet with a caring maternal quality expressed. Actually, the comforts of home may be on the menu with this blend and may include America's long-touted, patriotic apple pie symbolism at some point. Plus, Taurus-Cancer denotes a Sun-Moon sextile so folks will want to help the candidate of their choice by providing benefits!

The Department of Justice's Uranus Return 2018-19

It seems an eon ago, but on November 22, 2017 we discussed planetary returns to the DOJ horoscope circa 2017--2018 which include the department's current Uranus Return, a 'three-fer' to its natal degree of 29Ari21 in the 2nd house of the National Treasury (its three exact return dates are listed). Here I'm republishing the 1934 chart in case you'd like a gander.

Of course, 29 degrees of any sign is considered a critical or crisis degree and with political and legal events as they are, it seems significant to me that the DOJ's Uranus Return period is in process on into 2019--a drawn out period of time due to the retrograde of Uranus. Now as you know, it takes approximately 84 years for quirky Uranus to complete an orbit and few folk can say precisely what a Uranus Return means (which actually tallies with the planet's well known reputation for unpredictability). The little I know about Uranus returning to natal degree may be found in the above-linked post if you're curious. Disruption, separation, unorthodox methods, a break from the past? Who can say?

Well, one thing we know: with any planetary return, natal aspects may be repeated, activated, triggered. And on October 25, 1934, Uranus opposed the Sun (restless, independent, taking uncharacteristic actions), Venus (unconventional relationships, reversed legal decisions), and Jupiter (new knowledge, searching for values, economic instability, fortune-hunters), trined Mars (progressive projects, unusual actions, unstable conditions), and squared Pluto (untapped energy, elevated consciousness, inventiveness, shift in political power, control of resources). These potentials and more are now activated or stimulated in matters related to the Justice Department thanks to the return/s of erratic, shocking, electric Uranus to its 1934 position, but just how is the question going forward. My advice? Check out the news! For Mr. Trump's 10th house Uranus in Gemini is his 'guiding planet' of chaos, quirky notions, and disruption.

Now also in the 'planetary returns' post, a daring reader will discover a link to another SO'W entry concerning the esoteric (Uranian?) bas relief of symbols carved on the DOJ building, symbols which are daily activated by sunlight. Weird stuff. Especially considering that Uranus in Aries, as it is again on November 6, 2018 (Midterm Elections), suggests blind zealots, fanatics, and/or Utopian reformers and radicals (Ebertin) who'll be 'doing their thing' at least until Uranus moves into staid, conservative Taurus again on or about March 7, 2019.

2018 Midterms' Syzygy Moon shows Blue Revolution!

September 28, 2018: yes, the Syzygy Moon chart prior to the November 6, 2018 Midterm Elections is in the conservative-preserving money sign of Taurus, the bull. And yet...in the horoscope below, upper right, you see how revolutionary, rebellious Uranus @00Tau31 Rx snugs against the IC of the chart, the HOW? Point and Basis or Foundation of the Matter. And there's We The People's Moon conjunct Uranus which denotes excited people particularly women, plus, as noted on the chart, the Moon-Uranus pair suggests potentials for 'a sudden manifestation of subconscious forces (such as the Collective of the American people); those with special aims, and/or female reformists. So...Lunation Uranus conjunct lunation IC = incumbent loss, or as I prefer to put it, A Blue Tsunami!

Plus, you see the Oct 24th Full Moon light spilling out onto the public (North Node in Leo, sign of natural leadership and point of public contact) and the 'Tail of the Dragon', South Node, almost conjunct US POTUS Sun which in 2017, fell @00AQ48 = Trump playing the role of POTUS. The Dragon's Saturnian Tail will swipe or smack US POTUS Sun, the Presidency, on October 27, 2018 (horoscope shown).

Now I'm quite certain the ruling patriarchs, many of whom are advocates of Puritanism of a most hypocritical kind (I know because apparently I have Puritan ancestry as do many of us), (marvel at Chuck Grassley's stone face) won't agree that their current Koch (Murdoch-Mercer-foreign-govts) task of shoving the US government toward the regressive 'right' is unacceptable to a vast majority of Americans but I believe that this is the case. For who in her right mind would ever choose to live under a totalitarian, draconian, bossy regime led by a decrepit group of what seem to be the 'top choice' of global criminals in the bunch plus their political operatives and handmaidens?

We need it because, lower, left is the the New Moon Horoscope of October 8, 2018 @15Lib48 (conjunct US natal Saturn 14Lib48 suggesting a new cycle starting with the goal of undermining further of the US legal system including the US Supreme Court) so that the American public is left with no US institution or branch of government to depend on as before (to the extent that we could). Our best opportunity to re-create some level of balance in our governmental system and support the Republic is to take part in a Blue Tsunami by Voting Blue on November 6, 2018. For, as you see in the October 24th chart, The Establishment planet Saturn rises in his own sign and is the Thales Planet or Point aiding both the Sun and the Moon during their opposition, a sign of fulfillment or culmination of a plan seeded at the October 8, 2018 New Moon conjunct US natal Saturn--our 1776 Saturn exalted in Libra, sign of the Scales of Justice--now unfortunately progressed into Scorpio and retrograde since 1996 when the authority of the US Presidency came under attack by the same forces that continue to sabotage our nation today.

To me, true patriotism must involve protecting our nation from outside infiltrators and foreign criminals who would rule us with No Consent From The Governed--precisely the opposite of what America was and is meant to be. Is it time for compromised politicians to spill the beans on who intimidates them and to begin naming names?

That may never happen but what we can do is to Vote on November 6th--all the ladies and the younger generations 18 and older will be there, carrying their surf boards no less!

Note that the 19 North Eclipse of 2016 also squared the 2 Old North Prenatal Solar Eclipse degree of Donald Trump (9Gemini) which repeats @21Cancer on July 12, 2018 with 'glum' themes of 'unfortunate news' and 'separations' (Brady). In 'real time' transit Neptune @9/10Pisces opposed the 2016 Eclipse (9Virgo) while squaring Trump's PE (9Gemini) - so that warring Antares @9Sag completes a difficult Cosmic Grand Cross. A Mutable Grand Cross (or Square) reveals unstable conditions of indecision, anxiety, and mentally running in circles. Bil Tierney says its conditions are like "a windmill in a windstorm" which is one way of describing the 'presidency' of Donald Trump. Nervous strain and exhaustion are the predictable results and those who lack conviction and/or fail to uphold higher principles are spotlighted and challenged. The saving grace is that many people may become more discriminating and aware during this time.

Now why does the 19 North Eclipse of 2016 'linger' with us? Because its descriptive themes continue to influence both the 2016 'Election' of Donald Trump, his tenure in the White House, and his January 20, 2017 'Inauguration' as engineered by Vladimir Putin and other foreign and domestic operatives so that those events and conditions 'linger' and bedevil America in the form of congenital liar Donald Trump, who prefers and supports dictator Putin instead of America's traditional allies.

Plus, transiting gaseous giant Neptune floating through its own sign of shady, secretive Pisces continues on its own to bring lies, deceit, betrayal, propaganda, paranoia, fear, contagion, water damages, loss, disappointment, and fraud to the American people as oceanic Neptune washes over the globe. 2016 Neptune opposing the 19 North eclipse (9 Pisces vs 9 Virgo across the victim-savior axis) continues to bode ill for it has obfuscated and muddled the forces of truth and realism embedded within the 19 North eclipse so that we continue to suffer under the influence of Trump's "fake news" propaganda and the support of his lies and deceit from the Republican Party, members of which must be mightily compromised by foreign governments with information hanging over their heads--and large amounts of money lining their pockets. Trump knows all of this which is why he could insult and destroy the campaigns of other 2016 candidates and why he can continue to oppose the Republicans in Congress and fail to uphold the traditional party platform. We could even say that Putin 'has Trump's back'.

Meeting in Canada: Canada's Trudeau Says Nyet to Russia's Return

So now with this weekend's G7 Summit in Canada which is said to be more of a G6 +1 due to the threat of America being kicked out (as was Russia for 'annexing' the Crimea!) since Trump played his usual isolationist role of 'odd man out' in Canada and the other nations say they can vote without the US, there seems to be an obvious campaign to establish a 'new world order' of strong-armed dictators (which is being reported or suggested now by journalists and pundits--any of whom may be part of The Agenda). So in spite of what Canadian PM Justin Trudeau says now, this means that a global overthrow is happening right before our eyes and the entire world is about to change in a big way. Will it be authoritarian and draconian 'just like Putin would do'? At this unstable point, it would seem so.

As Above, So Below

For astrologers who use the generational planets, the shift of disruptive, separative reformer Uranus into Venus-ruled Taurus is a descriptive part of this political and societal picture. (See Uranus into Taurus which includes Trump's natal chart with the Uranus into Taurus chart of May 15, 2018 surrounding it--and shows the New Moon @24Taurus which perfected upon Trump's natal Midheaven and thus activated malevolent star, Algol.) The New Moon in mid-May marked a new cycle of activity in Trump's career and public reputation on the world stage (MC) with evil Medusa overseeing.

For as you've heard, Trump Wants Russia Back in the G7 (just like Putin would do!) which would make it G8 again after President Obama championed the effort to jettison Russia from the group for its strong-armed tactics. Will the Trump-Putin team may get their way? Well, curiously the 2 South Solar Eclipse of early January 2019 reveals an interesting theme in light of this desire of Putin and his puppet Trump--'joining unusual groups and gaining a great deal from the involvement' (paraphrasing Brady)!
